I have a set of questions that I need to know for my book, can someone weigh in? (Numbered for your convenience):
Could a married person immigrate to the US from the southern border with the shared children, but without the spouse? How?
Could a parent’s citizenship in the US allow said married person to more easily gain citizenship?
How does a teacher work their way up to being a principal or vice principal?
What sort of handheld gun is the easiest/quickest to load/fire? ( @mrmathmanwr I know damn well you have that information)
If Person A threatens Person B (along with several minors) with a knife or some other kind of blade, is Person B able to be granted the self defense verdict for fatally shooting Person A?

90-Day Visa in Thailand
The 90-Day Visa in Thailand allows foreign nationals to stay in the country for an extended period, typically for tourism, education, business, or family purposes. It is officially categorized under the Non-Immigrant Visa, with subtypes depending on the purpose of stay. While not a long-term visa, it provides flexibility for travelers and expatriates planning a temporary but substantial stay.
1. Types of 90-Day Visas
1.1 Non-Immigrant “O” Visa
Purpose: Visiting family, volunteering, or medical treatment.
Eligibility:
Foreigners with Thai spouses or children.
Individuals seeking medical treatment in Thailand.
1.2 Non-Immigrant “B” Visa
Purpose: Business and employment.
Eligibility:
Professionals attending meetings or conferences.
Entrepreneurs exploring opportunities in Thailand.
1.3 Non-Immigrant “ED” Visa
Purpose: Education.
Eligibility:
Students enrolled in accredited Thai educational institutions.
Individuals taking part in training programs or language courses.
1.4 Non-Immigrant “O-A” Long-Stay Visa
Purpose: Retirement for individuals over 50 years of age.
Duration: Although commonly issued for one year, the initial entry is valid for 90 days, with extensions available.
2. Application Process
2.1 Applying Outside Thailand
Submission at Thai Embassy/Consulate:
Required documents include a valid passport, application form, financial proof, and invitation letters (if applicable).
Processing Time:
Usually takes 3–5 working days.
2.2 Applying Inside Thailand
Eligible visa holders can request a 90-day visa extension at Thai Immigration Offices.
3. Financial and Documentation Requirements
Financial Proof:
Bank statements showing adequate funds.
Specific thresholds apply based on visa type (e.g., 400,000 THB for Non-Immigrant “O” Visa for dependents).
Supporting Documents:
Invitation letters, proof of education, or employment contracts, depending on the visa category.
4. Visa Conditions
Duration of Stay:
Each entry permits a stay of 90 consecutive days.
Multiple Entry Option:
Some visas allow multiple entries, enabling re-entry without reapplication during the visa’s validity.
90-Day Reporting:
If staying beyond the 90-day period with extensions, reporting to Thai immigration every 90 days is mandatory.
5. Key Benefits of the 90-Day Visa
Extended Stay Flexibility:
Ideal for individuals requiring more time for business, education, or personal reasons.
Re-Entry Privileges:
Multiple entry options facilitate ease of travel within the region.
Path to Extensions:
Serves as a stepping stone for longer visa options like retirement or work visas.
6. Common Challenges
Documentation:
Incomplete or incorrect paperwork can delay or deny applications.
Eligibility:
Stringent requirements may disqualify applicants lacking financial or legal documentation.
Re-Entry Requirements:
Failure to secure a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand results in visa cancellation.
Conclusion
The 90-Day Visa in Thailand is a practical solution for extended stays, offering various subcategories tailored to individual needs. Whether for tourism, family visits, business, or education, it provides a structured yet flexible framework. Applicants should prepare thoroughly to meet requirements and consider professional assistance for complex cases.

Multiple Entry Tourist Visa
A Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) is a travel document issued by certain countries that permits holders to enter and exit the country multiple times within a specified period. This visa category is designed to accommodate frequent travelers, business people, and those with family or personal ties to the host country.
Understanding the METV
While the term 'tourist' might suggest solely leisure travel, METVs often cater to a broader spectrum of visitors. Business travelers, for instance, can utilize an METV for frequent business trips, saving the hassle of repeated visa applications. Similarly, individuals with family abroad can use it for regular visits.
Key characteristics of an METV typically include:
Multiple entries: The visa holder can enter the country multiple times within its validity period.
Validity period: This is the duration for which the visa remains valid. It can range from a few months to several years.
Duration of stay: This is the maximum permitted stay for each visit.
Conditions and restrictions: Each country has its own specific rules regarding eligibility, required documents, and conditions of stay.
Benefits of an METV
Convenience: The most obvious benefit is the elimination of the need to apply for a new visa for each visit.
Flexibility: It offers greater flexibility in travel plans, allowing for spontaneous trips or extended stays.
Status: In some cases, holding an METV can enhance one's perceived status or credibility.
Challenges and Considerations
While the METV is undoubtedly convenient, it’s essential to understand the potential challenges and considerations:
Eligibility: Not everyone qualifies for an METV. Countries typically have strict eligibility criteria based on factors like nationality, financial status, travel history, and purpose of visit.
Cost: METVs often come with higher fees compared to single-entry visas.
Conditions of stay: There might be restrictions on activities permitted during the stay, such as work or study.
Visa refusal: Even with eligibility, visa applications can be denied. It's crucial to provide accurate and complete information.
Countries Offering METVs
The availability of METVs varies widely between countries. Some popular destinations known for issuing METVs include:
Schengen Area countries: Offering various categories of multiple-entry visas based on the purpose of travel.
United States: Provides different visa categories, including the B1/B2 visitor visa which can be issued for multiple entries.
United Kingdom: Offers Standard Visitor visas with multiple entry options.
Canada: Provides multiple-entry visitor visas for eligible applicants.
Australia: Offers various visa subclasses with multiple entry options.
Tips for Applying for an METV
Research thoroughly: Understand the specific requirements of the country you're applying to.
Prepare meticulously: Gather all necessary documents and ensure they are accurate and complete.
Be truthful: Provide honest and accurate information on the visa application.
Consider a visa consultant: If the process seems overwhelming, consider seeking professional assistance.
Obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa can significantly enhance your travel experience. By understanding the intricacies involved, you can increase your chances of a successful application and make the most of your travels.
