this is intuitive astrology. meaning that i’m making these notes based on what i intuitively pick up about this astrological point being merged with these signs. take it with a grain of salt and understand that you might not relate to everything that i get from your placement 🖤

gemini/3rd house is related to communication (writing and speaking), mental processing of information (learning new things), thought processes, adaptability, anything digital too - such as social media, teaching, public speaking, your local neighbourhood + short distant travels + transportation, and also the way that you build connections with your peers - like siblings, classmates, coworkers, etc. it can also represent close relatives (usually makes me think of aunts and uncles).

lilith being in this position can give you a curiosity that you were shamed out of having. you’ve been shamed for the questions that you asked your parents, your teachers, your peers, simply because these questions were perceived to be as taboo or inappropriate to ask. especially when you were a child.

the way that you speak and word your sentences can also be perceived as being quite rude. especially if you have lilith in aries in the 3rd house, or if your mars is conjunct your lilith or just in the 3rd house with your lilith. the things that you say to people can provoke a darkness out of them because you trigger a dark part of their mind with the things that you say or the things that you ask - even without meaning to.

an undeveloped and non-integrated lilith in this sign/house will result in someone who’s very manipulative through gossip and communication. the type of person who will spread lies about other people. the type of person who may even be a pathological liar, just for the sake of toying with information as a way of feeling like they have the upper hand in a conversation. someone who can turn people against each other with the gossip/lies that they spread - ESPECIALLY if lilith in gemini is in the 7th house or the 11th house. people with this placement could also lie for the sake of gaining information for themselves too. which leads me to my next point:

information is power here. and lilith here usually gives an obsession towards thinking and learning. she has an insatiable hunger for knowing information about things and people. and even for understanding her own mind when she finally dives deep into her own thought process.

your mind can be a very dark place. you could constantly think about the themes of rejection, shame, abuse, and are constantly aware of those themes in conversations between your peers. whether it’s directed towards you or it’s happening between other people.

since gemini/3rd house is also related to intelligence, you could’ve had an inferiority complex with your own intelligence in school. like you weren’t smart enough or you weren’t good at learning new things. the kids who struggled with writing essays and paying attention in class. the real issue was that you just had an unconventional and uncommon way of processing and expressing information. meaning that the way in which teachers expected you to learn was not compatible with what you needed to be able to learn. but you internalised this at some point and felt like you were just “dumb” in a way.

this could’ve definitely manifested in the opposite way and resulted in you feeling like you were one of the most intelligent people in the class. and you could’ve faced rejection from your peers and classmates due to them recognising the power that you held in your academic success - which made them feel inferior to you. but not quietly. this was probably the reason why you were picked on and even bullied, and this could’ve lead to you being less of a participant in class. suppressing your own expression of what you know and suppressing your own curiosity because how other children dealt with their inferiority complexes brought you pain and shame.

for people with a developed lilith here, this placement also makes me think of people who can read between the lines with the things that people say - very easily. it’s almost like you can see into the thought process that would cause someone to say something in the way that they did.

an underdeveloped lilith placement will be extremely susceptible to not just possibly being a gossiper/liar, but also being someone who’s very easily manipulated and gullible. someone who believes everything that people (especially their friends/peers) tell them. they can’t see through people’s lies and manipulations - and other people can see this clearly. this could be due to them suppressing their curiosity that would’ve made them question what they were told if they were to embrace being curious.

you could’ve also been cyber bullied too - or you were the one to cyber bully and troll online.

you may have siblings who are the embodiments of lilith energy - especially younger ones (unless your lilith is in sagittarius or capricorn, which would indicate that this applies to your older siblings too). meaning that they’re extremely rebellious, outcasted, possibly full of rage too. or for a select few, you could have siblings that are into the occult, witchcraft, or something like that - and if so, with a good relationship with this sibling, you would’ve learned a lot from them.

okay so obviously there’s spider-man yeonjun!!!! i still need to post an official teaser for this LOL but it’ll be my next fic to release. it’s also a college au, so basically jjun’s balancing being a hero to the city on top of being a star student on top of being lowkey in love with mc. quick plot run through: mc ends up inviting yeonjun to some party, they start getting closer, cue some action (the fighting kind), then mc gets kind of involved in the spider-man shenanigans and they get even closer and cue some more action (the smutty kind). LMAO i have a billion scenes i wish i could share but i’ll go with these two

i had a vampire gyu wip that i mentioned back in like january but tbh i think im gonna rework the plot and change the member to soobin…. so basically soobin’s part of this like rich vampire family lol and mc lives there as a servant. soobin and mc are super flirty with each other and have these little stolen moments where they just get to romancing a bit. soobin’s parents ask mc to retrieve a bloodthirst relieving potion from some witch, and soobin decides to tag along just for fun. then at the witch’s abode the two of them are alone for some time anddddd you can put two and two together! i might write this one more in the fall cause vampires are fitting for that time of year.

speaking of wips to come out in the fall, i had this idea for a halloween fic where mc’s a scientist and she wants to revive a dead person with full success. i have it titled as “frankenstein au” in my docs lmao so picture it kinda like that. she gets her hands on some corpse (which of course is beomgyu) and brings him back to life, which she’s so excited about, until she realizes that he’s retained like no personal information of himself at all. so she considers her mission a failure and is pretty much ready to move on to trial #2 with a new corpse. she still keeps beomgyu around cause it feels a little cruel to kill him again, so he just helps out in the lab. he’s like sooo infatuated with her tho, she’s all he knows and he just wants her attention so bad. he’s kind of bratty and sulky cause he doesn’t want mc moving on from him. this will be a dark fic cause gyu goes off his rocker and is really uninhibited as the fic goes on lol

another wip i mentioned back in january is the academic rivals taehyun one. i haven’t made any progress on it since last mentioning it tho LMAO. then there’s the virgin!gyu + virgin!mc one i mentioned, but i probably won’t work on that one for a while cause of the drabble series im working on rn being a little too similar

then we have robot!gyu hehe i’ll probably work on this next after spidey!jjun. ack i just wanna attach the whole plot outline but im holding back… the outline is long asf tho so it’ll probably have to be two or three parts. anyway mc moves into her own house alone after having some issues with her ex. soobin is her brother, and he works as a developer for an AI company, so he suggests that mc gets a robot to just protect her bc he’s worried about her. mc’s hesitant but agrees, and in comes robot gyu hehe. she kinda keeps away from him at first, but eventually warms up to him a little and talks to him more. she talks to soobin abt her convos with beomgyu, and soobin tells her that it’s all just mimicry of human behavior, not actual consciousness. after that it gets super weird and i can’t spoil it but there’s a clear divide between believing beomgyu vs believing soobin. it’s definitely a mindfuck and it’s all in mc’s pov so we have no clue who’s right. this would be a psychological thriller, and it gets more and more crazy as it goes on. super super excited to write this lol

Why, in the 21st Century, do people insist on cultural appropriation? And eco-unfriendly activities?

I have been reading a series of books (each written by a different author) about pagan-based spirituality, aimed at a Western audience (European, USA, Canadian, Australian), and just finished one which recommended working with various non-European deities. People seem to think, “Wow, what a cool practice - I want to do that, too.”

Speaking for just myself: this here 73% German-derived woman, living in the US of A, has no fucking business “borrowing” from other cultures’ pantheons. And if it isn’t your roots, then neither do you.

(I’ve done enough ancestry research to know I’m mostly from southern Germany - around the Black Forest - so when I find deities from that area, that’s where I direct myself. When there’s no equivalent, I use the rest of my Scots-Irish heritage.)

Another recommended the use of glitter for anything/everything - regular glitter qualifies as a microplastic and helps poison Mother Gaia further. No nature-based practitioner should condone such a thing.

(There are eco-friendly brands of glitter, but the author didn’t specifically refer to them - they’re too expensive for yours truly, but if that’s what floats your boat and you can afford it, go for those brands.)

In many pagan-specific books and articles, the astrology is (way) off, but that’s so prevalent I just blip over those parts.

(Example: the “zenith” is when the Sun is directly overhead - “high noon” - every single day, not just on this or that Sabbat.)

It really brings home to me how much our own experiences and our locale have to do with our practice.

My “day job” is being a paraeducator in the public schools. It’s an hourly, not a salaried, position - which means when I’m not working (like now, in the summer), I don’t get paid. Sometimes I manage to save enough money, over the course of the academic year, to get me through the summer. Other times, I’m not so successful - inflation making food more expensive, unexpected medical bills, etc.

This summer is one of those “other times” - I could use some financial help, please! All this blog’s content is provided free of charge, because I know what it’s like to be unable to afford anything beyond basic survival (and to have to struggle just for that much), and I want to reach as many willing people as possible.
