gyu pissed me off in the end the part where he goes "so you're not a virgin anymore," and then yn shrinks into herself. damn.

part deserved but also part: bro rlly ruined his friendship w taehyun alr fucked up, could've made the most out of things w yn but fucked up by saying that too

maybe he doesn't mean it since the way he feels ab yn is pretty complex, but it was a stupid thing to say regardless, now it's basically like fucking up your friendship for nothing. like yea u took yn's virginity but ,, still for nothing !!!

i hated it so much bc it was fucked up but also i kinda loved the genius on your part bc i think it opens up the question of gyu's feelings and whether he was just being an egotistical, power/superiority complex male obsessing over yn's virginity that made him feel like he was obsessing over yn herself.

again, messed up ending isnt so unexpected for messed up circumstances, but i think the way you decide to write that was so genius and adds character depth to their relationship/dynamic

ackkkk i’m so glad you could feel the way mc just sank into herself… writing that scene from gyu’s perspective was so fun cause he’s such an asshole and he couldn’t catch on at all to her feelings. his emotional intelligence is just soooo bad, but he sure as hell can use his feelings against her when he wants to gain something (sex… feeling of superiority over taehyun… those such things lol)

but yessss his feelings toward mc are so so complex !! he knows he wants more than sex from her, and he knows he wants to treat her well, but there’s this super selfish drive behind all of it that comes from his own insecurity. he wants to be good enough, and he wants to be better than taehyun, and he’s looking for validation in all the wrong places. every time gyu thinks about being “more” with mc, he has all these (semi) romantic thoughts, but “love” isn’t really mentioned until he’s balls deep in her 😭😭 he panics at the idea of not getting to have mc anymore, but is it a love thing or a possession thing? does romance or jealousy drive his actions? ya knowwww

Am I the only who doesn’t want beomgyu and yn to be together? The way he likes her is so unhealthy and not in a good way and he just projects onto her so much I feel like the reasons for why he likes her are pretty superficial too and because she’s ‘innocent’ an he barely knows anything actually about her. If they were actually together I don’t think they would be good or healthy 😭. But I get why people like his character because we all want someone to be pathetically lovesick over us but in reality it’s not healthy and he’s actually really obsessive and possessive.
