Behold my Sonic fankids!

Buckle up y'all I'm about to lore-drop

Dash the Hedgehog: Son of Sonic and Amy. He's a speedy, fun-loving kid with a big heart. Future hero of Mobius but for now is mostly having fun exploring with his dad and racing anyone he meets. Also has a hammer like Amy's, with which he can do cool tricks.

Mouse the Owl: Adopted daughter of Sonic and Amy. Found and brought home by Dash after her parents were killed by an Eggman scheme. She's really sweet and a bit shy, and is basically the equivalent of Tails for Dash. Best friends with Tikal.

Nova Prower: The girl that grew from Cosmo's seed. Raised by single dad Tails and is a great mechanic like him! Loves sunlight and nature and going on adventures with her Papa.

Ash the Cat: Son of Blaze and Silver and twin brother of Aura. As the crown prince chosen by the Sol Emeralds, he inherited Blaze's fire powers. He's very stoic and serious, taking his role as future king very seriously.

Aura the Hedgehog: Twin sister of Ash. Is far more spunky and playful, and tries to drag her brother out to do fun things instead of studying. Inherited Silver's telekinesis.

Knuckles the Bat-chidna, a.k.a. Knux: Firstborn son of Knuckles and Rouge. Relatively rare in having mixed species features rather than only taking after one. He's rather rebellious and doesn't want to take on the warrior lifestyle on Angel Island, preferring thievery.

Spear the Echidna: Second son of Knuckles and Rouge. Far more serious about his tribal heritage than his older brother, and because of this is next in line to take on the Guardianship of the Master Emerald. Devoted to the warriors lifestyle and protecting his family.

Jewel the Bat: Daughter of Knuckles and Rouge. Sweet and simple, well-trained in fighting but prefers not to. Is dedicated to finding all the secrets of Angel Island, taking care of its Chao population, and recording the history of the Echidna for future generations. Not named after Jewel the Beetle but they do become friends after realizing they share a name.

Hunter the Bat: Son of Knuckles and Rouge. Inherited both of his parents' treasure hunting tendencies and loves to explore. His wings grew in too small, making him the only member of his family who can't fly/glide, although he can hover for a short amount of time. That doesn't stop him from traveling all over the world! Honorary member of Team Kid Chaotix (the next generation of the Chaotix).

Tikal the Echidna: Youngest daughter of Knuckles and Rouge. Small and spunky! Is still a bit young for warrior training, but she's ready to go when she can! Loves animals and swimming and playing around Angel Island. Goddaughter of her namesake, and is able to interact with her and Chaos. Best friends with Mouse.

Night the Wolf: Son of Shadow and Whisper. Autistic and almost entirely non verbal. Is super powerful, with Shadow's abilities, but is very quiet, calm, and stoic. Because of his resting angry face, people think he's kind of grumpy like his dad, but he's actually pretty chill. Very close with his "cousin" Knux.

Maria the Hedgehog: Daughter of Shadow and Whisper. Fun, spunky, loud, and energetic. Basically has the energy and noise of the rest of the family combined. Loves to get into fights and Night constantly has to bail her out. Also has Shadow's abilities, especially running. Loves to run. Always has a different fun design on her T-shirt.

Mint the Bunny-dile: Daughter of Vector and Vanilla. Like Knux, is a rare mixed-species kid, although mostly crocodile. Is hard of hearing due to physical issues with the connection of rabbit ears with a crocodile head. Is very big and strong, sometimes not knowing her own strength. Sweet and a bit rough-and-tumble. Is a big proponent of body positivity due to being mixed-species as well as growing up around primarily mammal mobians who were a lot smaller than her at the same age.

Gale the Hawk: Daughter of Jet. Fast, cool, and a bit egotistical but ultimately good-hearted. Loves racing and pushing herself to learn new tricks and new types of racing. Like wearing the "retro" hand-me-downs from her Aunt Wave (okay actually I haven't decided if I ship Wave and Jet or see them as siblings so for now it's just "aunt")

Infinite: (Not) Weak (character overview)

In this post I'm tackling the short-lived antagonist of Sonic Forces, Infinite, and some of the characteristics that make him a, surprisingly, thematically resonant and just overall good villain.

Overcorrection

To talk about his character, it’s pretty important to talk about the events that led to him adopting the “Infinite” persona. Before the events of the game, he was the ruthless leader of the Jackal Squad, calling himself “The Ultimate Mercenary.” Following an encounter with Dr. Eggman, Infinite accidentally revealed his deep-seated wishes to “change the world” and plunge it into anarchy and destruction, seeing as he’d grown tired of the world as it was. The doctor, taking advantage of this, hires the jackal as the new general of his army.

Several months before Eggman took over the world, the Jackal Squad was assigned to guard Eggman’s Mystic Jungle Facility, where the Phantom Ruby had undergone analysis. Despite their skill, they were all completely wiped out by Shadow the Hedgehog. By request of Eggman, their captain decides to confront the Ultimate Life Form by himself, but is beaten to the ground and overwhelmed with fear. Never before had he felt so powerless, so incapable, so weak.

To Shadow, it was just another grunt in his way, but to his opponent, it was an unbearable amount of humiliation. Vowing to never feel “weak” again, the jackal discarded his old self and was born anew as Infinite. Now, with the help of Eggman, he had the power to make all yield to his will, power unmatched even by the likes of Sonic himself (or so he believed).

Style

As part of his new identity, Infinite also adopted a much colder, intimidating demeanor, showing no hesitation when taking the lives of others. He revels in the fear of his opponents, perhaps to reassure himself that he is now above such behavior.  While Shadow strives to achieve perfection in all he does, Infinite is instead content with having his own flair, his “authenticity,” believing it to be superior, which is actually sort of one of his healthier traits.

Before anyone knew it, a live music club was there. The performers, let alone the audience, don’t remember much about why they were here. Still, everyone enjoyed this moment… except for one. “Don’t get in my way. You’re holding me down.” After the concert, Shadow coldly declares this to his partner. The poor attitude towards the audience, the shoddy performance… a stage show with him was far from the perfection Shadow was looking for. But when questioned, Infinite laughed boastfully and slowly closed in on Shadow. “It’s good enough for a runt who can’t understand authenticity. I have no interest in following your smugness in playing at perfection.” “So, you admit you’re a fake. Surely you understand that.” (Translation by @browniestash!)

Infinite deems friendships, as with many other things, a sign of weakness. Even though he led his own squad, one that valued him as a leader and comrade, the jackal did not feel the same way, even disregarding their qualms when allying himself with the Eggman Empire. Infinite, at the very least following his shift in identities, sees friends as naught but fleeting illusions, stating that your own strength is all one can rely on.

Obsession with power

Infinite, as a result of his encounter with Shadow, seems to be quite insecure about his strength, being obsessed with attaining more and more of it to the point of letting his own body be modified with the Phantom Ruby prototype. Referring to his past self as pathetic and unsightly for losing that fight, Infinite takes every opportunity to prove he is no longer that weakling. Even when facing unequivocal defeat, the jackal will refuse to retreat and insist on continuing to fight.

When everything you know has come and gone, (You are at your lowest, I am rising higher) Only scars remain of who I was (What I find in the ashes, you lose in the fire!) When there's no one left to carry on, (This is an illusion, open up your eyes and...) This pain (persists), I can't (resist), But that's what it takes to be Infinite

After Sonic Forces, Infinite actually seems to reevaluate his need for power and his reliance on the Phantom Ruby prototype. After Dr. Eggman’s Otherworldification plan fails, Infinite is briefly freed from inside the Phantom Ruby and snatches the last remaining Phantom Ruby prototype from the doctor’s hands. As he is about to put it on again, the jackal is suddenly filled with doubt and hesitation. He ponders whether or not he really wants to resort to using that again. But before he can make a decision, his body vanishes with the light as the world returns to normal, which he seems to thinks was for the best.

“Heheheh, it really is a modified Phantom Ruby prototype… Just as I thought! If I put this on, I’ll have power once again!” Infinite’s shoulders were shaking with joy as he placed his hand on his chest where he had once worn the Phantom Ruby… but suddenly a cold wind blew through his heart. (I’m resorting to this again…?) His heart’s craving for power and his pride, which was deep within him, causes doubt in Infinite. He hesitated for only a few seconds before deciding whether or not to put “this” on his chest, and that’s when it happened. “…Ah?!” The elimination of otherworldification occurs in Infinite, and his body disappears with the light. The core in his hand slips through and falls into the glimmering lava… with a sizzling sound, it is lost to the world forever. Infinite was wide-eyed and stunned, but… “H-Heheh, haha…” He smiled wryly, lightly shaking his head, as if to say that it was for the best, and then vanished with the light. The world has been saved once again by a strange fate that no one had any way of knowing. The wind was merely blowing in the sky. (Translation by @browniestash!)

Conclusion

To end on a positive note, Infinite is not definitely dead! He's a character I really like from the one game he got to shine in, and Eitaro Toyoda has expressed his desire to see him come back, so we may actually see more of him in the future.

Seeing as Jason David Frank passed about a week ago, my headcanons about Tommy Oliver have not left my head. So here are some of my headcanons about Tommy/Kimberly married life.

*Kimberly can NOT cook that well at all. Tommy on the other hand prior to being adopted by the Oliver family started learning to cook at a young age. Even after being adopted, Tommy continued his love of cooking. So during meals or making food for lunches is Tommy's thing. And he is very protective of his kitchen.

*Tommy and Kimberly can almost never agree on a movie to watch. Tommy likes Sci-fi, Fantasy, and Animation. Kimberly however likes Horror, Action, and oddly Westerns. So they usually compromise with Comedy Specials.

*Kimberly always gets a kick about what a huge Anime Nerd Tommy is. Some weekends she'll go down to the house kitchen for breakfast and find her husband has made a full anime style breakfast. These are also the rare times she sees Tommy wearing T-shirts from his favorite Anime. One memorable occasion Kimberly camee in the kitchen to see Tommy dressed up as Ash from Pokemon.

*Tommy and Kimberly almost never eat out except for their birthdays or the anniversary of the day Zordon sacrificed himself.

*When they do eat out they almost always get Greek or Japanese food. On occasion they will get Hawaiian Barbecue.

*Tommy on one occasion did a Pokemon themed event when the Students of Reefside High had to come up with Themed Classrooms for an Open House for the Elementary School students. He cosplayed Professor Elm.

*Just as not being able to agree on movies, Tommy and Kimberly can NOT agree on music. Tommy's playlist is either Anime music, Country Songs, or Techno music. Kimberly likes Rock and Roll, Metal, and Pop. Which Tommy finds hilarious when one of their friends didn't know and find out the Metal CD's are Kimberly's and not Tommy's.

*Both are avid amusement park enthusiasts. After the rains of the Machine Empire was defeated they went to Disneyland. Following Mesagog's defeat they went to Universal Studios in Hollywood.

*Tommy has every Pokemon game made and the consoles to play them. Kimberly is the same with Sonic The Hedgehog. The day that they found that Daggeron could take them to those respective Worlds to visit they bugged him for months before he relented. Tails sees Kimberly as the mother he often wished for. Tommy ended up actually meeting Ash before his Journey. Though he was immensely happy getting a Pikachu egg.

Rhys and I finished watching Sonic Prime last night and it was very good even though the last season is almost entirely a drawn out fight almost akin to Dragonball Z.

In that vein, because I have a full day of work and will probably not get lucky and have a chill day again like yesterday, please come ask me stuff about my Sonic OCs!

Tajah the Fox/Dog cross. She runs Chao Paradise, a Chao breeding center and adoption facility, and also runs the Medical Center.  She’s also the oldest of the bunch, at 36.

Cela the Hedgehog, the older sister of Krystal. The two of them are the co-founders of Chao Paradise but turned running it over to Tajah.  She handles the Chao eggs and newborn/child Chao.  Her markings are dyed blue, but underneath they are ash-blonde.  In a childhood accident she lost her left leg and now has a robotic one.

Krystal the Hedgehog is Cela’s younger sister, at 22 years old. In the same childhood accident that her sister lost her leg, Krystal lost her right arm. Her markings are also blonde, but she dyes them various colors.  She handles the Chao who have cocooned at least once.  She’s also in charge of gathering animals and Chaos Drives to train the Chao with.

Esmer-Ra the Echidna high-school student and a part-time worker at the Chao Garden.  She runs the “Fortune Teller” and the shop of the garden.  She also helps out at feeding times and helps with the Kindergarten.

Spackle the Caracal is not nearly as angry and mean as he looks.  He’s rough-looking but he’s the one who runs the Chao Kindergarten and is actually going to college in the hopes of becoming a teacher at some point.  The customers are nervous around him, but the Chao love him, and when no-one is around (or he thinks no-one is) he kind of melts into a puddle of purring, baby-talking, Chao-cuddling goo.

Some (fun) facts about Rachel, because why not?

- She's right handed

- Her favourite Band is ABBA and her favourite songs are "Voulez-Vous" and "Lay all your Love on me"

- She can't stand it when the TV volume is a number without a 5 or 0 in it. She also hates it when someone eats a KitKat bar by taking a bite out of it

- She loathes rhubarb

- She's a Taurus, her birthday is April 21 1975

- Rachel is a light sleeper

- She can't take compliments, nor does she handle it well when someone flirts with her

- Although she and Jackson aren't twins, they often have those 'Twin-moments', where they say the same thing at the same time, or know what the other thinks

- Her favourite animals are dogs and hedgehogs

- If she ever gets a pet, it'll either be a Doberman or a pair of ferrets

- She suffers from PTSD, survivors guilt, trust issues and struggles a lot with letting go of her past

- She used to smoke and drink when she was younger. Now she only does that when she's under huge emotional stress

- Had to raise her brother on her own after their parents died. She was 15 and Jackson was 9

- Always carries her father's hunting knife with her. It's one of the two lucky charms she owns

- She had several near-death experiences

- She never officially adopted Merah, but still refers to her as "Her daughter/kid"

- Rachel has exceptionally good wound healing

anyway the Human-Amethyst Star aka “Sparkler”,

is really the Pony Counterparts from Equestria,

so she looks a bit more different than her Human Counterpart that was born in the Human World on the other side of the Mirror.

the idea is that at some point after the events of Season 9 and Comic’s Season 10, in a Fanon Season 11...

Princess Twilight and Sparkler start to get closer and end up falling in love with each other, they then start to date and then later their relationship grows deeply enough for Twilight to pop the question to Sparkler.

which means when Sparkler marries the new ruler of Equestria,

she also becomes a Co-Ruler and becomes a Unicorn Consort Princess to Princess Twilight Sparkle.

I think their ship name could be Double-Sparkler,

because of how Twilight Sparkle’s name does have “Sparkle” in it,

while Sparkler is a nickname for Amethyst Star.

their relationship and more interactions with each other,

could start out not so great, because of how Sparkler had felt that Twilight had replaced her as soon as she had moved to Ponyville. 

it isn’t until they get trapped in the Human World/Sunset’s Adoptive Home World  together, that they start to grow more closer together and start to slowly fall in love with each other.

I think June and Cozy would get along,

they were both used by Black Heron and Discord.

yeah Bradford is technically her “Dad” because he helped Co-create her and her sisters, which means that Webby technically has Two Dads...

the true villain in Ducktales 2017, was never Bradford...

it was his Grandmother Isabella Finch, who made Bradford who he is,

because of the trauma she put him through.

I don’t believe his transformation by that sword, was because he was “evil”

it was because he had deep unresolved trauma that negatively effected him.

same with Magica when she lost her twin brother,

just because Louie had a point the experiences that Scrooge had with his villains, made him a better person.

it doesn’t excuse him for technically making Magica more bad than she was already, it is possible that her plan was to get her brother back the whole time,        

all he cared about was taking the treasure in her and her brother’s home,

not even stopping to help her keep her brother from leaving and being lost to her forever.

Magica’s fight with Scrooge on the night that he would end up trapping her in his dime, might of had to do with Magica wanting revenge on Scrooge for his heartless actions.

just because Scrooge was proved innocent from ruining Ma Beagle and Glomgold’s lives....doesn’t mean he is innocent from ruining Magica’s life.

both Magica and Bradford were victims of the “Good Guys”,

but even though Scrooge had gotten better over the years,

and started to see family as the greatest treasure and adventure of all.

he still ended up hurting Magica and making her even more evil,

and I don’t view Finch being Good at all, I mean what kind of Grandmother

takes her own Grandchild out to adventure and doesn’t try to see it just makes them unhappy and could be traumatizing them...?

to me and maybe other fans, the reason why Bradford transformed into the form he took thanks to that sword, wasn’t because he was evil,

but because he was broken and all the trauma he went through, had transformed him into that.

but for all we know the Bradford that got transformed into a Fauna-Buzzard,

might of been a Clone who has the Original Bradford’s Memories,

and the real one was that “Dumb Clone” who was made temporarily made dumb for 24 Hours, or as long as the fight between Scrooge and the Decoy-Bradford goes...

Lizzie Devine and Peedee Fryman ending up together, would be interesting

but I might be the only one who thinks that.

but with how Nigel Uno/Numbuh 1 has kind of fallen from grace,

we could see Peedee as the new Numbuh 1, or Numbuh 1-2.0.

I hope that someday that Galactic Kids Next Door will happen,

but with how things are with Cartoon Network right now,

it might be for the best that it shows on Adult Swim.

Warner Brothers should buy Nickelodeon, for one certain reason....

the only ones who don’t have hearts in their eyes in this drawing,

are Ayano and Hoodie.

not sure if the JuneGlow ship would even catch on,

this is my first ship drawing of the two but it was suppose to be a Platonic Ship,

you know like “I Bud It” instead of “I Ship It.”

but then I decided to make it as a Romantic ship instead.

Blossom and Kaio would be a interesting Crossover One True Pairing,

it be awesome if Kaio ends up in Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi Comic Series.  

 I still like the other shows of the PPG, but PPGD is my top favorite.

PPGD was out way before PPGZ, and it is like a Awesome Crossover of different shows, like Invader Zim and other series.

if Disney Characters had more appearances in it and not just cameos,

that would be awesome.

and it would be cool if Deltarune characters like Kris, Susie, Noelle, Berdly and the rest of their classmates made a cameo in the school that Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup had transferred to. 

but Noelle, Susie, Berdly and the others, could NOT be turned into Humans,

and should stay as they are.

 if they did go to the school that we see in PPGD,

I think they would be in the same class as Dib.

Frisk and Flowey would be in the same class as Gaz.

anyway, I hope some of you like this ship drawing that has either a crossover ship or same universe ship.

and yeah the reason why I had put the Mordetwi in this,

is because well I just wanted to draw it in there and there doesn’t have to be special reason why I added in Mordetwi.

it be interesting if Sunset x Tom became the new “Mordetwi”

but that happening might not be that likely, but who knows...it might happen.

Things about my Pokémon AU I need to share:

-Welcome to the Mobius Region :D

-Trainers look like their partner Pokémon, ex. Sonic and Shinx, Shadow and Zoroark

-Sonic has a Vulpix and Tails has a Cyndaquill. They are aware of the irony

-Amy has a pretty balanced team for a casual trainer, but she really likes steel types

-Team Doom is led by Black Doom and Shadow is his son. He’s basically been adopted by the Robotniks tho

-Eggman and Gerald are both the region professors, and Maria is currently their assistant. Maria still has her condition and Black Doom is trying to hold his “assistance” over Gerald’s head so Team Doom can gain control of the region. But Gerald isn’t completely stupid so he’s still hesitant and it’s causing some divide in the family, bc it looks like he’s just refusing help out of pride or whatever

-At one point Ivo (who’s a young adult in this au) is completely done with his grandfather’s BS and officially starts working with Team Doom so he can help his cousin. Obviously he doesn’t realize he’s being manipulated. Very Alain-esque from XYZ

-Tails is a prodigy and gets to go on his Pokémon journey early. Sonic is totallyyyy not resentful that Tails is going early when he’s only starting his journey at 15 bc he couldn’t pass the stupid standardized testing until now. (He covers it well and refuses to examine it, as all emotionally healthy hedgehogs do)

-Knuckles is a rock type specialist and prefers Pokémon over people. He’s still buds with the rest of the gang though and the friendliest of Sonic rivals

-All the deities in sonic are Legendaries and Mythicals here, and Tikal was an ancient trainer that Chaos befriended. Ofc the Echidna did their thing so Chaos wiped them out, and now he’s known as one of the cruelest legendaries. Only Tikal’s spirit knows the truth

-Sonic has a phobia of water type Pokémon bc he, the chosen one, had an encounter with Chaos when he was 3 and was promptly traumatized. Once he meets Chaos the second time he realizes that Chaos wasn’t trying to kill him and was actually just yelling at him to get off his lawn

-Sonic pulls an Ash and finds a rare Pokémon (Chip) befriends it, and then finds out that it’s a god

-Cheese is technically Vanilla’s pokemon but everyone knows he’s Cream’s baby

-Blaze is champion, as she deserves

-Shadow is known as this terrifying dark type specialist that no one can beat until Tails’ Sylveon completely wipes his team. Sonic never lets him live it down

-Imagine a sweet preteen girl with a giant Aggron behind her. That girl is Amy

I don't have the ask post handy so I'll just ramble free form about my Charrs' fighting styles (I have four so this might get longer)

All four of them trained with the Legions, and apart from Charrlotte they spent their lives in service to the legions as well.

Reevus, Ash Legion Mesmer, distinguished himself early as an excellent duellist, both with sword and pistol. He got put into a special training program to hone his mesmer skills (against his preference. He tries to use them sparingly) specifically to stop other mesmers. Know you enemy kind of deal. Whereas many combat oriented mesmers might use their magic to kill you, Reevus uses his magic to distract you from the gun that kills you. This es especially effective when duelling other mesmers, as they often don't consider the threat of physical harm from a fellow mesmer.

Bran, Blood Legion Warrior (theoretically a Rev but he doesn't get cool powers, only depression). Probably the most mundane. Carries both a mace and an axe which he pairs up with a shield. Together with the classic spikey blood legion armor he is basically a very agressive hedgehog. There used to be a time where his immortality made him storm recklessly at the enemy, but that passed quickly and he has since adopted a very defensive stance.

Trebia, Iron Legion Grandma Sharpshooter, started out as a simple rifleman but constantly slipped away during combat to do her own thing. Nobody could really complain because her own things generally worked out well so instead they made it her official position. This gave her ample time and necessity to hone her mastery of the only magic thr Iron legion didn't mind, the one you can't see (aka shadow magic). She likes to ambush, strike quickly and vanish a swiftly as she appeared.

Charrlotte, ex-Iron Mercenary Leader. Possesses an absolutely massive arsenal of weaponry, including but not limited to: 2 Flamethrowers, a rifle, a charrzooka, several hand-built mortars that are all very scetchy, a wide selection of pistols both, a heavily modified and questionably safe pact chopper, a knife. All of these weapons have names. Charrlotte always does a lot of planning ahead of jobs choosing which equipment she takes but she prefers her Flamethrower. That being said she isn't above using her claws and teeth and while she has the least training in hand to hand combat she nakes up for it with determination. There is a rumor out there that Charrlotte is immortal, and Charrlotte is doing her best to prove it right.
