Armand:

So yes. They're going full in, and though I (kinda) mourn "Andrei" I think "Arun" fits very well, and... well. That backstory apparently stays intact.

Which speaks volumes for the "rent boy" comment as said before, and actually Louis' profession in NOLA... that has to play into it all as well (not sure yet how, but... it's too connected to not matter, not in this show).

Also: Roget's apparently still works for them. AND there are "members with knowledge of".

Aran is a model, he owns a fashion company, he must have countless pictures of himself

but his dad has the most ehm conforming photo of him put up

the picture where he is in mans uniform, hair buzzed, no makeup

I might be reading too much and this just happens to be the picture he has but like I had thoughts when I saw it

You can always tell when someone really understood the reading. Assad really embodies the character's soul. Everytime he's on the screen all attention goes to him. He has a great connection with the audience. That's rare. Armand in the flesh.

In short, big fan. 🖤

young daniel and old daniel are like two different people to me. young dan is a loping bi sexual with a lot of innocence to him. he’s like a fawn with a drug habit. he’s kind of pathetic. ol dan is crotchety and antagonistic and is constantly throwing out barbs. he’s a hard ass who takes no shit. for folks who’ve read the books, i dont see any devil's minion daniel in old daniel. ofc they aged him up significantly but i'm just curious as to how the writers plotted out his evolution from san fran dan to dubai dan. even considering personalities naturally change over time as life experiences shape us, i’m having trouble meshing the two daniels in my mind. if anybody has thoughts i'd love to hear them.
