equinox here! i wanted to make a masterpost for my zines! if you haven't checked them out already, we write zines about queer history with some resources and statistics within, as well as anecdotes from my 32 years being a genderqueer transsexual butch dyke. i am also intersex and speak about my experience with medical intersexism and prejudice toward androgynous and gender vague people.

if you are interested, the help would go a long way, as i deal with psoriatic arthritis, hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome, degenerative disc disease, GI issues, schizophrenia, DID and other health issues. i'm currently applying for disability but it takes quite a while to get approved in the US. all proceeds go towards my monthly rent, bills, and necessities. thank you for your support!

one of the kids at my job calls queer people 'el jibbity' and i think it's adorable

this lil dude is cishet, but he's so respectful and always asking me the meanings of queer flags and what order the colors go in so he can color them for me and his friends

he'll eat homophobes, he loves learning about queer people and their experiences, and is active with his support and vocal in his defense of our community. he'll smile in joy when i tell him about new 'el jibbity lore' or when one of the other kiddos tells him of their queerness. a ten year old. i make sure he knows he's loved and appreciated by us el jibbities.

in the most aggressive voice a ten year old boy can muster, he voices his support for the 'el jibbity' community (not even sure where he heard of the el jibbity meme) and i think all allies should be like that.

i think that's what humanity should be like. a little silly, childlike and wonderful, curious, and supportive.

this new generation of children is something else

Being aromantic and polyamorous is so fucking rad because you get to come up with whatever fucking names you want for the connections you form with people. Allos are so boring. What is a girlfriend or a partner? I have a lesbian and a familiar. Do whatever you want forever and let the alloromantics look confused about it.

Friendly reminder to my LGBTQ+ friends: you don't have to perfectly fit the definition of a label to use it. For example: a woman who likes other women, but also sometimes likes men can still call herself a lesbian if she wants to, even if she would "technically" be bisexual. Someone who's asexual and demironantic can still call themself aroace if they want to. Someone who's gender floats between male and demiboy could call themself gender fluid, or male, or non-binary if they want to. You can still call yourself pan if you have a preference.

Labels should be what works for you, not a box you need to perfectly fit in
