Zantelia wasn't just the Champion of Aurene. She was THE Champion, one of her mothers, and after being corrupted by Aurene's magic, when she Ascended and became an Elder Dragon, Zantelia ascended as well becoming a prismatic being. No matter where Aurene is, Zantelia is there as well, hardly much of a Sylvari now. Saga... oh goodness, she's a mess. Started as a lich waifu for Joko. She was a cynical agent sent against him, captured and then turned into his apprentice and archon. Then his lover. Then she betrayed him by telling Aurene how to kill a lich. And after Joko came Jormag. The fun fact it all started with the story being called "Icebrood Saga". Using lich magic they stole part of Jormag's soul by mistake. They took a liking into them. She didn't became an Icebrood, she literally kept inside of her part of Jormag and their power, even after their demise, still whispering and keeping her company. Then the Void came. That piece of soul got corrupted as well. Now Saga is this immortal dragon/lich mix who also is bearing and housing the void corruption remaining in Tyria. Then there is Zenith, my enby fella. They got... a top surgery in Cantha?????? That's all. They're of course very powerful (a lie since I can't play mesmers decently) but I've yet to give them super special stories or powers. They may get a very special girlfriend soon tho >:)) But that's spoiler. I have many more characters with Blorbo Prime powers but if I go down explaining everyone this is gonna be eternal LMAO
Before I go to bed I'll posit this to everyone.
Everyone's commander has gotta be a little overpowered right, a little special spoiled ridiculously strong, golden child protagonist powers, they're Blorbo Prime.
So what's your Commander got going on that makes them self indulgently strong and overpowered? What kinda Protagonist nonsense have they got going on beyond just general default commander things? What sorta fun things can they do?
#I wanted to reply in the tags as well but as you can see I can't be short when explaining stuff#zantelia#saga#zenith#commander zenith#archon saga

Sometimes you must ask yourself. What are you doing with your life.
My answer is dubious kitchen experiments.
I have decided to make an Archon Loaf (ffxiv) to celebrate the Fanfest on Saturday. This is an unwise decision but i am commited to it. Will update this as it goes. Feel free to mute tag "The loaf saga"
As ingredients go, we have some trouble on the flour fron since i could not get the rye at this time, so wheat will have to do. I also decided to add some. Flavourings to make the bread at least edible.

𝐶𝛨𝛢𝑃𝑇𝛦𝑅 𝟎𝟑𝟒 — LIBERANDUM (4.3K WORDS) 𝑅𝐸𝐷 𝐿𝐼𝑁𝐸𝑆 — lyney x f!reader smau
𝑆𝑌𝑁𝑂𝑃𝑆𝐼𝑆 —
Second year of university should've been everything you thought of it - more studying with human interaction sprinkled throught... What it definitely wasn't supposed to be was an investigation saga where one of your friends goes missing out of nowhere
𝑃𝑅𝐸𝑉𝐼𝑂𝑈𝑆 — 𝑀𝐴𝑆𝑇𝐸𝑅𝐿𝐼𝑆𝑇 — 𝑁𝐸𝑋𝑇 𝐸𝑃𝐼𝑆𝑂𝐷𝐸
The day of the grand rescue mission had finally arrived, marking the climax of their investigation saga. The anticipation of reuniting with their friend—and freeing the other victims—was the perfect reward for their relentless efforts.
“Is everyone here?” One of the police officers asked, scanning the group for confirmation before they could proceed. The tension was palpable. Though entering the house without proper documentation felt like skating on the edge of the law, the group and the authorities knew this was likely their only opportunity to save the captives.
“Yes,” Wriothesley replied, his gaze sweeping over the group as he mentally checked their numbers. Furina and Charlotte stood sluggishly, struggling to shake off the effects of an early wake-up call they weren’t accustomed to. Meanwhile, Navia and Clorinde were notably absent, sticking to their agreement to track the kidnapper and report any sudden shifts in Marcel’s routine.
Neuvillette took a deep breath, steeling himself for what lay ahead. “Miss Navia and Miss Clorinde will alert us if there is any change in the transgressor’s behaviour. Until then, we must believe in their efforts and focus on the task ahead.”
The officer gave a curt nod and asked the group to proceed. They approached the house cautiously, their steps weighted by apprehension. The sleek, modern structure stood in stark contrast to the grim purpose of their mission, its clean lines and polished exterior hiding the darkness within. In the misty morning light, its shadow seemed to stretch endlessly, a silent warning of the unknown dangers ahead.
“It’s against protocol to allow civilians into a potential crime scene,” another muttered, clearly uneasy. “It’s a disgrace that it’s come to this — relying on college students in an operation like this.”
The sharp glances of the group silenced him, but the tension remained palpable.
“Anything specific we should watch for?” [Y/N] asked, her tone measured but betraying a hint of nervous energy. “Maybe we should split up to cover more ground, but stay in pairs for safety.”
Wriothesley considered the suggestion, his gaze flicking to the rest of the group. “It’s a reasonable plan,” he said after a moment. “We’ll be thorough, but no one is to wander alone. Stay alert and keep your phones on at all times.”
The group murmured their agreement, gathering into pairs. The officers hesitated for a moment, sighing a little. “Just don’t touch anything unless absolutely necessary — and for Archon’s sake, be careful.”
With the plan settled, they stepped up to the house’s partially open back door. Probably the same way the abductor got in months ago to kidnap Lynette. The air grew colder, the oppressive silence inside practically seeping through the walls. [Y/N] reached for the frame, her hand steady despite the growing weight of responsibility.
“Let’s go,” She said, her voice calm and resolute, before sliding the door open.
The door slid open with a soft hiss, revealing a dimly lit living room. The once-pristine space was now eerily quiet, the faint scent of rain on a warm summer’s day lingering in the air — not the overpowering scent of chemicals or metal they were expecting. Shadows stretched across the floor, cast by the thin slivers of morning light seeping through the drawn blinds. They just entered the living room.
“It smells off…” Furina murmurs, clinging tightly to Neuvillette’s arm, her earlier grogginess replaced by a trembling unease.
“If your mention of this house being built close to the former research institute is correct, it’s absolutely normal.” The police officer replies, his sharp gaze scanning every corner of the lounge for signs of movement.
Furina’s grip tightened as her eyes darted nervously around the room. “Normal or not, it feels wrong,” she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Let’s proceed carefully,” Somebody mentioned. “This smell might mask something more important.”
The officer nodded in agreement and gestured for the group to spread out slightly. “Watch your footing,” he warned. “Any disturbance will stand out. It could help us piece together what’s going on here — or alert us to a trap.”
The group split off into pairs as planned, each moving deeper into the house. [Y/N] and Lyney, their flashlights cutting through the dimness. Wriothesley and Charlotte headed upstairs, the wooden stairs creaking faintly under their weight. Neuvillette and Furina remained on the ground floor with the officers, scanning the main living areas for any overlooked clues.
In the left wing, [Y/N] and Lyney found themselves in what seemed to be an exact replica of the picture sent to the girl weeks ago.
The room was hauntingly familiar, every detail aligning with the image that had been burned into their minds weeks prior. The head-to-ceiling window framed the overcast sky outside, while the same blanket laid crumpled on the floor in the exact spot they had seen before. But the crucial piece — the person who had made the scene so chilling — was conspicuously absent. Lynette was nowhere to be found.
[Y/N] and Lyney stood frozen for a moment, their hands clasped tightly. The tension in the air grew heavier as the realisation settled over them. The only thing moving was the seemingly shaking hand of Lyney’s, his nerves overtaking his entire body.
“C-Can we leave?” He asked, his voice shaky. “I don’t think I can stand to be looking at this any longer.” Sweat pools at his forehead and palms, tugging [Y/N] to just go somewhere else.
[Y/N] gently squeezed Lyney’s hand, grounding him in reality as best as she could. Her own heart was racing, but she pushed the fear aside, forcing herself to focus and take charge in this situation. “Give me a minute.” She said softly, but firmly. “If Lynette was here, there might be something that can give us more information.”
He hesitated, his breath uneven as his gaze darted around the room. The overwhelming familiarity of the scene made his stomach churn. “What if this is all for nothing?” He whispered, voice laced with despair. “We might be too late.”
Lyney’s body began moving on its own, dragging the girl with him against her protests. “Everything’s wrong. My mind wouldn’t lie, for fucks sake!” He shouted, having the concept of ‘twin telepathy’ in mind while saying that.
As soon as they left the area, Lyney’s nerves began to calm down. He was still breathing heavily as he dragged [Y/N] to a different room. “I’m begging you, let’s go somewhere else. I need to breathe.”
As he pleaded, the girl took control once more, deciding to abide by his wishes. She headed down the corridor, looking for any enclosed space to let him settle down. In all honesty, she opened the first door she saw.
The door creaked open, inching ever so slightly only to reveal a room shrouded completely in darkness. [Y/N]’s hand is still linked closely with Lyney’s, leading him gently as she blindly searches for a light switch.
The fluorescent light buzzed faintly, illuminating the room’s grim and obsessive contents. Lyney and [Y/N], their hands still clasped tightly as their eyes darted around, taking in the disturbing shrine they had stumbled across.
The walls were a macabre collage, plastered with photographs of Furina — candid shots, promotional posters from her theatrical performances, and even close-ups that must have been taken without her knowledge. Each image was meticulously placed, with lines of text scrawled beneath some of them — notes on her expressions, her costumes, and even detailed commentary on her roles.
The mannequins loomed like silent sentinels, dressed in replicas of her outfits, their lifeless gazes turned toward the centre of the room.
Lyney’s grip on [Y/N]’s hand tightened as his breath quickened again, his eyes wide with alarm. “What the hell is this?” He whispered, voice trembling slightly. “I knew he used to stalk her but— That is sick.”
The girl swallowed hard, her own pulse quickening as she took a cautious step forward. Her flashlight beam traced the wall, landing on a faded newspaper clipping that stood out among the rest. The headline read: “Rising Star Furina Shares Her Career Future — Fontaine University.”
The notes beneath it were written in jagged handwriting, barely legible in their frenzy. “Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Must have her. She belongs to the stage, and to me.”
“That’s why he targeted her back then,” [Y/N] murmured, her voice low but steady. “He fixates on his victims.” She took out her phone, doing her best to get pictures of the room as soon as possible. “Lynette and the others most likely weren’t chosen on accident either.”
Lyney clenched his fists, his expression darkening with anger. “So he picks them, stalks them, and when the opportunity arises…” His voice trailed off, his lips pressing into a thin line at the sheer thought of both his sister and best friend. The air in the room felt suffocating, heavy with the weight of what they’d uncovered.
“We need to get Furina out of here as soon as possible.” [Y/N] said, urgency creeping into her tone. “If this guy comes back.”
A pair of sounds echoed inside the room — a faint ping coming from both their phones. Either they found the victims or…
… or something has gone wrong.
The faint buzz of their phones died away, leaving an even heavier silence in the room. [Y/N] could feel her pulse pounding in her ears, drowning out every other sound. Her fingers trembled as she checked the message.
She turned her phone toward Lyney, who stared at the messages with wide, panicked eyes. His breathing quickened, and she could feel the tension radiating from him. Without a word, they both knew there was no time to lose.
“Time to run,” he whispered urgently. “We need to warm the others.”
They bolted out of the room, running as fast as they could to join the others. Their steps were making so much noise that it basically echoed through the entire building, alerting anyone nearby.
“What’s going on?” Charlotte asked frantically, running down the staircase. “Did you find them?”
“No,” [Y/N] cut in breathlessly, her voice urgent and laced with panic. “We found something else, probably at the same level of insanity. Marcel is on his way back. We need to move and find the victims. Now.”
Lyney nodded. “There’s a… shrine. He’s fucking insane about Furina. If he sees us here, this won’t be just a rescue mission anymore.”
The group froze for a moment, the gravity of the situation sinking in. Wriothesley, descending the stairs two steps at a time, cursed under his breath. “What do you mean, ‘a shrine’?”
“No time for details,” [Y/N] said, grabbing Charlotte by the arm. “We need to get everyone out before it’s too late. Where’s Neuvillette?”
“Still downstairs with Furina and the officers,” Wriothesley replied, his voice steady despite the chaos brewing around them. “I’ll grab them. The rest of you, head to the vehicles and be ready to leave.”
“Are you out of your mind?” Lyney interjected, giving him the nastiest look possible. “I’m not leaving without Lynette. I’d rather fucking die than have that fucker take her again.”
“Lyney, listen—“ Wriothesley began, but [Y/N] cut him off.
“He’s right.” She said firmly, “If we run now, he’ll just vanish, and this time, we’ll have no trail. We need to at least try and free the captives before Marcel gets here.”
Charlotte nodded, her fear momentarily overridden by determination. “I’ll get the medical crew to join you. Wriothesley, get Neuvillette and Furina out safely. Lyney, [Y/N] — find anything we can use to figure out where they are.”
“Sure. But be safe everyone.” Wriothesley noted. “And if anyone hears anything, call.”
The group scattered, each moving with purpose but an ever-present sense of urgency. The time was ticking.
Downstairs, Neuvillette and Furina were combing through a study with the officers when Wriothesley burst in. “We’ve got a situation,” he said curtly. “Marcel’s on his way back.”
Furina paled, clutching Neuvillette’s arm. “He can’t come back. What if he finds us?”
“Which is why we’re leaving,” Wriothesley said, grabbing her hand and pulling her toward the door. “Neuvillette, this is not up to any debate.”
The police officer straightened, his icy composure masking the storm brewing beneath. “What about the others?”
“They’ll be right behind us,” Wriothesley assured him. “The longer we stay here, it’s more likely we jeopardise the entire mission. We need to move. Now.”
[Y/N] and Lyney sprinted through the labyrinthine hallways, hearts pounding as they searched for any signs of the captives. The medical staff, thanks to Charlotte’s swift action, had managed to catch up with them and were helping in the search. Finally, they came across a locked door near the end of the corridor.
“This has to be it,” [Y/N] whispered, gathering the attention of her companions.
The atmosphere thickened as the group huddled around the door. It was an imposing, solid structure, its surface cold and unyielding to the touch. A faint, muffled sound from behind it made everyone pause, their breaths catching in unison. There was no denying it now — someone was inside.
“Do you think…” Lyney started, his voice breaking slightly as he pressed his ear to the door. The faint sound of a shaky, ragged breath made him recoiled. “It’s them,” he confirmed, his tone steeled with determination. “Lynette’s in there. I can feel it.”
One of the medical crew members stepped forward, holding a compact set of tools. “This lock doesn’t look complex. Regardless, please keep an eye out and let me know if anyone’s coming.”
“Will do,” [Y/N] replied, her gaze darting nervously down the corridor. She handed her flashlight to Lyney, who clutched it like a lifeline while his hands trembled ever so slightly.
The minutes felt like hours as the medical worker tinkered with the lock. The sound of faint clicks was interrupted by every distant creek or gust of wind, sending jolts of paranoia through the group. [Y/N] stood vigil, their eyes fixed on every shadow that graced the walls.
“Almost there…” The worker murmured, beads of sweat forming on their brow. Just as the lock gave a satisfying click, a distant sound made everyone freeze. A hiss of tyres. Echoing in the entire vicinity.
“He’s here,” Lyney hissed, his voice barely above a whisper.
The group exchanged panic glances. There wasn’t enough time to flee with the captives, especially if Marcel was already closing in.
[Y/N] took her phone out, informing the group they had managed to locate the victims. She pleaded for them to buy as much time as possible. She was breathing heavily despite being guaranteed by the other group they would do everything possible.
The group pushed the door open just enough to reveal a dimly lit room. Lynette and three other girls were huddled on thin mattresses, their limbs bound and their faces hollow with exhaustion.
“Lynette!” Lyney burst forward, his voice creaking as he reached for his beloved sister. Her head lifted slowly, her expression wavering between disbelief and relief as her eyes focused on him.
“Lyney…?” Her voice was barely audible, a whisper of hope breaking through her fatigue. Tears streamed down his face as he knelt in front of her, his hands working furiously to untie her restraints.
Some medical staff joined him to do the same with the other three university students.
Lyney’s hand shook as he fumbled with the ropes binding his sister. His mind was still reeling from the recent discoveries, the shrine, and the impending arrival of the kidnapper. But at this moment, all that mattered was Lynette — his sister, the one he sought to protect no matter what.
Lynette’s purple eyes were focused on him as if to make sure he was real. If she could, she would’ve probably touched his face all over — just to make sure.
“I’m here, Lynette. We’re getting you out. Just hold on, okay? Please hold on,” He whispered, his voice breaking as he finally freed her hands.
The other medical staff worked quickly around them, cutting the ropes off the other captives. Despite the urgency, there was an overwhelming sense of relief — they had found them, they were alive, they were going to be free.
But the tension was far from over. [Y/N] stood by the door, her pulse still racing as she kept a watchful eye on the hallway. She couldn’t shake the feeling that Marcel was right on their toes, his presence an inevitable storm that they were not yet ready to face.
“We need to get out as soon as possible,” she urged, stepping into the room to calm her spirits a little. Lynette looked frail, but the girl still managed to recognise her, relief washing over her body even more. The other captives were in varying states of shock and gratitude, whispering small thanks to the medical staff.
Navia and Clorinde were closing in, parking their car in such a way that, unless driving into the river, Marcel had no routes of escaping. Navia’s blue eyes were trained on the young man, looking somewhat confused at the amount of police vehicles parked outside his residence.
What they didn’t predict was the sudden knock on the back door of the car, almost pleading with urgency to be let in. Their heads snapped toward the sound, a rush of adrenaline fuelling their next moves. Without hesitation, Navia unlatched the door, glancing out of the window. Standing there, panting and clearly on edge, was Furina — breathing heavily, eyes wide with panic.
“I’ve seen him,” She gasped, her voice trembling as she climbed into the car. “Wrio and Neuvi made me sneak off to you just in case of something bad coming to fruition. Have you heard anything from the others?” Furina asked words slurring together from the exhaustion.
“They located and freed the girls,” Navia replied, passing her phone to prove her statement with the messages shared by [Y/N]. “Are Wriothesley and Neuvillette still near the house?”
Furina nodded, mentioning how they instructed her to leave for their car only to stay in case a confrontation was needed.
“I’m glad you made it safe and sound to us.” The blonde shifted in her seat, turning around to cup Furina’s hands. “I’m so, so proud of you for your bravery today.”
Although the weight of their success began to sink in, the tension didn’t completely dissolve. Furina, still trembling with the residual fear of being face-to-face with her past stalker, looked out of the window, her eyes scanning the sunny outside with a mix of wariness and relief.
“Do you think they’ll take him to jail?” She asked, voice barely above a whisper, as if speaking too loudly might alert the dangerous presence lurking just outside.
Clorinde leaned back in her seat, letting out a deep breath. “It would be incompetent of the officers not to. With Marcel showing up, as well as the documentation [Y/N], Lyney and Wriothesley gathered they have him served on a platter.”
“Mhm, that’s right!” Navia nodded. “If you don’t want to see the final showdown, I think it’s your best bet to take a nap, Love.” At the notice of Marcel confronting the police officers quickly sent a message to the group, informing them the time to leave was now.
“That’s all four.” One of the medics counted, gesturing for others to help them with helping the girls up. With how light their bodies felt, their best bet would be to carry them out. “Are we good to go, Miss [Y/N]?”
[Y/N] nodded quickly, her expression firm despite the adrenaline coursing through her veins. “I think so. According to the information I’ve gotten, the kidnapper is currently speaking with the police.” Despite the reassurance, she still glanced towards the door. Just in case something went wrong.
The medics worked swiftly, carefully lifting the girls. Lynette was scooped into Lyney’s arms, the male refusing for anybody to touch her sister.
“We’re getting out, okay?” He whispered to the girl, taking gentle steps. He followed the medics, keeping the grip on his sister secure as they navigated the dim hallways.
[Y/N] led the way, her flashlight flicking across every shadow as they made their way back toward the main entrance. The closer they got, the sounds of an argument were getting louder and louder. The rescue group stopped for a second, trying to gauge if it was safe to proceed.
“I don’t understand what the deal is, Officer.” Marcel’s voice was laced with anger. “Ever since I’ve moved here, not once there was a location control. And what the deal is with all the police cars and ambulances?”
“I apologise, Mr. Dubois, but those are standard procedures when dealing with terrains surrounding any radioactivity zones. We came prepared fully, just in case there were any people or pets inside..”
“Why not schedule this as a call? Surely the office cannot be this incompetent, as to not know how to agree on the date and time.”
“As I’ve stated — this terrain is not suitable for any housing plots. Frankly, I’m shocked at a house being located here.”
“They made it sound like an environmental check?” [Y/N] murmured to herself, looking back at the group. Despite the conversation being surprisingly short, it felt like hours to those stuck in the house. Entering at the wrong time could render the entire operation useless.
“It seems to be that,” Lyney answered, switching his position to make Lynette more comfortable. “How long are we going to be stuck here…” His body was getting sore, shifting his balance from one leg to the other.
“Perhaps,” A medic started. “Perhaps we go out the back?”
After the shared nod between all the members, their slow walk towards the sliding door began. They would go out the same way they got in…
“You probably didn’t even check your own records before deciding to harass me,” Marcel snapped, growing more heated. “If there’s nothing else, I’d like all of you to leave my property!”
The officer closest to Marcel, maintaining an air of calm professionalism, raised his hands slightly, as if to diffuse the tension. “Mr. Dubois, we understand your frustration, but this is a public safety matter. We need to ensure there’s no immediate risk to you or anyone else in the area.”
Marcel’s eyes narrowed, suspicion flashing across his face. “Anyone else? I live alone. Who would be at risk.”
The exchange grew more intense, but inside the house, the group took advantage of Marcel’s distraction. [Y/N] signalled to the medics and Lyney to hurry. Every second counted.
“Time to move.” [Y/N] whispered urgently, her eyes darting between the group and the faint light coming from the open doorway. The medics adjusted their grips on the weakened captives, including Lynette who leaned heavily against her older brother.
The group crept toward the exit, their steps as silent as possible. The argument outside grew louder, proving a sliver of hope that Marcel was too distracted to notice their escape. Just as they reached the door, the distinct sound of raised voices caught their attention.
“What’s in the house, Mr. Dubious?” One officer asked firmly. “Based on your reaction, we have a reason to believe you’ve been engaging in illegal activity.”
Marcel stiffened, his sharp eyes darting towards the entrance. “How DARE you accuse me of such things without evidence. This is an outrage!” He lunged in the direction of the police officers, hoping to grab one of them by their collars.
Just then, a gust of wind blew suddenly, causing the back door to slam with a grating screech. Everyone, Marcel included, looked in the direction of the sudden noise… only to find [Y/N] standing there, staring back at them in shock. Was it… over?
The man broke his arms away from the officers, preparing himself to run at the girl as fast as she could. [Y/N], the only one who he never managed to capture, despite offering herself on a platter. The one who somehow, against his plans figured out his identity.
A thud could be heard of a body hitting the ground. Marcel was no longer standing… instead, he laid on the floor, knocked out. Wriothesley could be seen where he previously stood, stretching his body after kicking the guy.
“That…” The police officer looked between the two men. “I’m afraid, this was not included in the plan.”
“Mmm— whatever,” Wriothesley commented, walking to the rescue group with a grin on his face. He was joined by Neuvillette who joined swiftly, ready to assist the medics with whatever needed.
“Was that truly necessary?” Neuvillette asked, sparing a glance at the other man.
“Oh yeah. Absolutely worth it.” He grinned, side-eyeing his friend a tad bit. “Don’t tell me you didn’t think of doing the same.”
“Unfortunately, I do not have a pressure washer on myself, Wriothesley.”
“Is everyone ready to go?” A medic asked, double-checking if all the victims had been placed in the ambulance safely. They were preparing to transport the girls to the nearest hospital as soon as possible.
“I’m going,” Lyney came closer. “That’s my sister. I need to know she’s all good.”
With a nod, they allowed the short male to join them in the ambulance. He thanked them profusely before turning to all the people who helped with saving his dear sibling. “Thank you,” He mouthed.
He took his phone out of his pocket, lifting it up — to signalise he would update the group when possible.

❝ Your path is dangerous, I will not deny that. ❞
❝ He is not what he pretends to be. ❞
❝ I am his queen, not his woman. ❞
❝ You . . . you should not have . . . ❞
❝ I should not have waited so long. ❞
❝ I should have kissed you every night and every day. You were made to be kissed, often and well. ❞
❝ That was not fitting. I am your queen. ❞
❝ My queen, and the bravest, sweetest, most beautiful woman I have ever seen. ❞
❝ There is no man in all the world who will ever be half so true to you as me. ❞
❝ They might be adequate to my needs. ❞
❝ He has larger breasts than I do. ❞
❝ I call that madness, not courage. ❞
❝ Even the bravest men fear death and maiming. ❞
❝ There are other ways to tempt men besides flesh. ❞
❝ What a soft mewling fool this one is. ❞
❝ Such wonders do not come cheaply. ❞
❝ Even those who bent their knees may yearn in their hearts for the return of the dragons. ❞
❝ I will gladly serve her . . . and service her as well, if she is more woman than she looks. ❞
❝ Leave this place before your heart turns to brick as well. ❞
❝ The magisters and archons fed him wine and promises, but his soul was starved to death. ❞
❝ Better to come a beggar than a slaver. ❞
❝ There speaks one who has been neither. ❞
❝ Do you know what it’s like to be sold? I do. ❞
❝ He made a queen of me, but if he had been a different man, it might have been much otherwise. ❞
❝ Do you think I have forgotten how it felt to be afraid? ❞
❝ Only lies offend me, never honest counsel. ❞
❝ I have a dragon’s temper, that’s all. You must not let it frighten you. ❞
❝ He has a good face, and great strength to him. ❞
❝ Could he be jealous that I have found another man to talk to? ❞
❝ No true knight would ever kiss a queen without her leave. ❞
❝ He wants to kiss me again, I see it in his eyes. ❞
❝ You’re no bedslave. ❞
❝ The blood of my enemies I will shed gladly. The blood of innocents is another matter. ❞
❝ There is a savage beast in every man, and when you hand that man a sword or spear and send him forth to war, the beast stirs. ❞
❝ I wanted an answer, not a compliment. ❞
❝ He fought valiantly, he fought nobly, he fought honorably. And he died. ❞
❝ I mean to prove a few things of my own. ❞
❝ I can give you freedom, but not safety. ❞
❝ All men must die, but not for a long while, we may pray. ❞
❝ He knows my moods too well. ❞
❝ You ought to be asleep. ❞
❝ You’ll need your strength. ❞
❝ I was alone for a long time. ❞
❝ I was such a small scared thing. ❞
❝ He should have protected me, but instead he hurt me and scared me worse. He shouldn’t have done that. ❞
❝ Why do the gods make kings and queens if not to protect the ones who can’t protect themselves? ❞
❝ Some kings make themselves. ❞
❝ He was no true king. He did no justice. Justice . . . that’s what kings are for. ❞
❝ I dreamed a dream, no more. Go back to sleep. ❞
❝ A dragon is no slave. ❞
❝ The clever ones will see it for a chance to gauge my strength. ❞
❝ I am only a young girl and do not understand the ways of war, yet these odds seem poor to me. ❞
❝ I have heard that sellswords are notoriously unfaithful. ❞
❝ You bray like an ass, and make no more sense. ❞
❝ Woman? Is that meant to insult me? I would return the slap, if I took you for a man. ❞
❝ I would remember a man of such magnificence, I have no doubt. ❞
❝ You are worth fighting for, it is true. ❞
❝ I would gladly let you kiss my sword, if I were free. ❞
❝ And perhaps a kiss besides, eh? Or more than a kiss? For a man as magnificent as me? ❞
❝ I will like the taste of your tongue, I think. ❞
❝ You have a big thirst. ❞
❝ If blood is what you wish, let it flow. ❞
❝ You shall rue this arrogance. ❞
❝ Why? Because you are so beautiful. ❞
❝ I count no day as lived unless I have loves a woman, slain a foeman, and eaten a fine meal. ❞
❝ My sword is yours. My life is yours. My love is yours. My blood, my body, my songs, you own them all. I live and die at your command. ❞
❝ Then live, and fight for me. ❞
❝ Is that what you’re telling me? You are the only man I should ever trust? ❞
❝ Do you think I’m still some virgin girl, that I cannot hear the words behind the words? ❞
❝ You have been a better friend to me than any I have known. ❞
❝ I honor and respect and cherish you. ❞
❝ I do not desire you, and I am weary of your trying to push every other man in the world away from me. ❞
❝ It will not make me love you any better. ❞
❝ I cannot sleep when men are dying for me. ❞
❝ Your place is here by me. ❞
❝ A man who fears battle wins no victories. ❞
❝ I will see them. I will see every one, and count them, and look upon their faces. And I will remember. ❞
❝ It’s his city I want, not his meager manhood. ❞
❝ I will not march my people off to die. ❞
❝ Can I send men to die in the dark on such a slender hope? ❞
❝ Take me back to my tent. Please. ❞
❝ I have told you no lies. Yet there are truths I have withheld, and for that and all my other sins I can only beg your forgiveness. ❞
❝ What truths have you withheld? ❞
❝ The crow calls the raven black, and you speak of betrayal. ❞
❝ If he sent you to kill me, why did you save my life? ❞
❝ I am yours, if you will have me. ❞
❝ There has been an informer by your side selling your secrets. ❞
❝ Do all gods feel so lonely? ❞
❝ She is brave as well. She had to be, to survive the life she’s lived. ❞
❝ I am going to take you home one day. I swear it. ❞
❝ I am content to stay with you. ❞
❝ Is this the face of a conqueror? ❞
❝ Harsh justice is still justice. ❞
❝ The widows will curse me all the same. ❞
❝ To prove his faith, he offers to seal your alliance with a marriage. ❞
❝ He means to put them all aside if you consent to wed him. ❞
❝ Whatever I do, all I make is death and horror. ❞
❝ I must be strong. I must have fire in my eyes when I face them, not tears. ❞
❝ Some truths are hard to hear. ❞
❝ Why ask for truth if you close your ears to it? ❞
❝ He once told me that madness and greatness are two sides of the same coin. ❞
❝ So I am a coin in the hands of some god, is that what you are saying? ❞
❝ You warned me against everyone except yourself. ❞
❝ I am no man’s creature. ❞
❝ I must not weep. I must not. If I weep I will forgive him. ❞
❝ You are trembling. ❞
❝ I wish I could have known him. ❞
❝ If I want him, I need only say so. ❞
❝ Never lie to me. Never betray me. ❞

Codex Entry: The Old Gods
There were seven Old Gods, great winged dragons that were said to rule over the ancient world. The Chantry maintains that they are responsible for the original sin, that they turned humanity away from its true creator through deceit. Humanity's faith faltered, and thus the Maker turned away from the world—but not before trapping the Old Gods in eternal prisons beneath the earth as punishment. Regardless of the truth, legend maintains that even from their underground prisons, the Old Gods were able to whisper into the minds of men. The Archon Thalsian, first of the Magisters, who claimed to have contacted the Old God Dumat, used the blood magic Dumat taught to him to attain incredible power in Tevinter and declare himself the ruler of an Empire. In return, he established the first temples worshipping the Old Gods, and the dragons became equated everywhere with imperial power.
—From The Old Gods Rise Again by Sister Mary, Chantry scholar, 8:50 Blessed

i finished the archon quest (yeah already. and pulled on citlali but shh) and they put their whole ass cock and balls into it. the production value only goes up
i think everyone kinda knows what is gonna happen already but what really matters is how it happens. and i think they really did well.
i mean tbh natlan is not my favorite but they succeeded in making some bland characters work with the overall plot and just. it felt satisfying. and im happy with what they did with capitano (i worried there would be some deception but they didnt go with any cheap surprises fortunately). the saga closed off nicely. i wonder what they have in store for the rest of patch 5 - i hope for a lot of Lore, because the natlanese plot did end quite quickly, and we do need some plot points to be revisited pronto, dainsleif and shit
it does feel like everyone was thought about. though even if i dont care about iansan very much i find it amusing that we still didnt go to her tribe. i hope they give them some funky harbinger shenanigans at least. something to happen you know. one rabid childe perhaps.
tldr it made me cry and im giving them a big kiss bye genshin nation ill maybe revive myself for another archon quest review

I've been browsing this site recently, and after thinking about it, I decided to post my fanfics here to show you my writing chops!
Summary: One man from Saga has revived seven girls as zombies to 'save' his prefecture by making them idols. But when danger comes knocking as supernatural manifestations of one's psyche, seven men with similar powers are revived too as the fledgling idols' bodyguards. This is their story of a bizarre adventure to save Saga Prefecture as shambling zombies! (Crossover between JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Zombie Land Saga, and Pocket Mirror/Little Goody Two Shoes)
Addendum: This is the second, revised version of the crossover story between JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Zombie Land Saga, and Pocket Mirror/Little Goody Two Shoes, done to overhaul and add short/medium-length chapters. The premise remains the same: Kotaro resurrects seven girls and boys to create an idol and bodyguard group to save Saga Prefecture. Witness their wacky struggle to save Saga right here!
Summary: A visit to the Guertena Art Gallery turns into a living nightmare when Shadow finds himself trapped in the Fabricated World, which has been dramatically altered to its even worse or more outlandish state, partially thanks to a living painting's attempt to escape and incurring its wrath. Now they must find a way out, deal with art monsters, and hopefully keep their minds intact...
Summary: What was supposed to be a peaceful second visit to the Starfall Islands turns into something extraordinary when Sonic encounters five beings born from Chaos Emeralds. Five of whom have been meaning to meet him after witnessing his journey over the Starfall Islands three months ago.
Or in short, a one shot story where Sonic interacts with five Archons. And they are fans of him.

5.0 and 5.1 AQ Thoughts.
Under the cut! You have been warned.
First and foremost! I really want to give this quest props of being a straightforward adventure. So far, and still ongoing, this has been thee biggest strength that carries it forward. After dealing with grand dreams, esoteric deals, prophecies and the ancient forces guiding those. It really stomped down on my head in just how nice of an experience that has been again.
Growing with the characters you're introduced with, fighting alongside them, getting a taste of their world through them. This is merely my preference, but mystery can only do so much for me when it's overplayed the 'eyes on the horizon, not what's before us' for so long.
So coming into the actual story. It's an adventure premise that's good to follow. We're seeing how they've managed to keep their defenses, feeble as they are, holding steady by seeing one of the genuine contest taking place. This in itself gives us the grounds to catch how players like Mualani, Kachina operated from their positions. In kind, it offered an eagle eye as to what this opportunity means for the people. How some held for glory, others worked to prove themselves, etc etc. Events like this gives the cast something to push off of.
In kind, it feels like the story works best when both the Traveler and his new companions have a means to advance things forward. While this tilts from the 'Mastermind' perspective, which means keeping a lot of concepts shadowed, I'm more than fine with that.
For me, one of the primary grounds that stand out to me in all the question is this measure of unity. How important it is, how their togetherness works in tandem with them alongside their individual merits and pursuits. A nice job has been done with the NPCS and Vision wielders in getting this showcased.
Not to mention, this chapter of the saga really opened my eyes to what I wanted a lot in Genshin to begin with. To see the cast genuinely struggle (though, I didn't want it to ALWAYS be harrowing as in the case of ACT IV), and for them to find solutions and inner strength by coming together. Sumeru played well on this with their band, while in Fontaine this had fell flat to me, as that felt more like find the deep dive to the truth. (Even then, the Prophecy to me inerts the satisfaction of finding said truth.)
A weak spot I will say did play a part in this was Capitano's involvement initially. It was mainly getting him into the story and carrying it from there, his character once integrated in showing his personal goals and driven to fight alongside the people of Natlan, it's been swell enough for me. This however, is just a byproduct of how they've handled the Fatui as an organization against Teyvat from the early days till now. So it's been a touch of that inevitability.
So far, Mauvika has still been the big '?' for me. Archon points normally are. I've enjoyed her character, but it's a matter of her dealing with the High Powers that leads to the shrouds and shadows. I'm in no rush to figure it out, and instead look forward to how things play out. Her care for community thought has been really endearing.
S'my thoughts so far! I've really been feeling the spirit of the game, so can't wait to see what they'll cook up more next.

Prophetess Barbello
The beautiful creator of the Sefiros Cosmology and prophetess of ELLUM, the MOST HIGH. She is the mother of both Mekala, Aeon of Order and Elzakalas, Archon of CHAOS. She is one of the most powerful beings in the sefiros cosmology, only rivaled by other fully incarnated celestials such as PROVIDENCE, Annihilator Wilhelm, Dawnsage Kayri, and Evanescent Sharai. She has watched over the worlds for countless eons, though she was not fully aware of their complexities until 1,000,000,000 BF where she "awakened" to the totality of her goddess powers.
ELLUM, the GOD OF GODS, sometimes choses particular celestials to become "prophets", or in the case of females, "prophetesses." These "prophets" are granted a seed which they plant into the formless waters of CHAOS that make up the lower domain, and these seeds grow into Trees of Life, Sefiros, which birth numerous worlds within its fruit. Many trees of life exist, but they are seperated by endless space. Some fruits of life experience a phenomenon known as "cognitive replication" where similar or identical starsphere appear in distant Trees of Life, which is actually somewhat common.
During the events of the Incursion Arc, Barbello attempts to incarnate as a lower domain human in order to stop a coming calamity that could destroy all reality. However, on the descent she is attacked by Archon Eos and split into three fragments: Ontos, Logos, and Pneuma. Each of these fragments incarnate as a different person: Reuben/Ruby Hayes for Ontos, Zeke Ulster for Logos, and Noel Strongarm for Pneuma. Eventually in the final battle with Archon Eos' avatar, all three fragments fused together in the prophetess, who then defeated Archon Eos and his avatar.
Barbello appears as a superboss in both Chronicles Meteorfall and Chronicles II: Zero Gear Saga. In Chronicles Meteorfall she is fought in NG+ after the "Villa Key" feat is obtained. You can then use the villa key at the villa on monster isle (post-game area accessed via airship) to enter Barbello's Villa and fight her. She is one of the most powerful bosses in the game at Lv333, and uses many powerful arts such as Polaris Spike, Magma Axis, Divine Shot, Mag Storm, Vortex Kick, Infinity Blade, Stardust Ray, Prophet's Rage, and Paradisto. Polaris Spike: Exclusive enemy art. Deals severe strike and water damage to all foes while inflicting freeze and water break.
Magma Axis: Deal massive smash and fire damage to all foes while inflicting fire break. Divine Shot: Deal severe strike and light damage to one foe. Pierces 35% of DEF.
Mag Storm: Deal severe strike and almighty damage to all foes x3.
Vortex Kick: Deal severe strike and dark damage to all foes. Deals additional damage equal to 10% of foe's MHP.
Infinity Blade: Deal severe slash and almighty damage to all foes. Pierces 35% of DEF. Stardust Ray: Deal unreal almighty damage to one foe. Pierces 80% of DEF.
Prophet's Rage: Deals 13,000 to 33,000 base almighty damage to all foes. Pierces 100% of DEF and reflect. Unlearnable.
Paradisto: Heals 99,999,999 HP and 99,999 AP for the user. Unlearnable.
She summons 3 allies, divine faerie, divine mermaid, and divine dragon. If one or more of her allies is dead, she will summon all of the dead ones back. If no ally is killed within 5 turns, she will use Prophet's Rage. If any attack is nulled, repelled, or drained, she will use Prophet's Wrath. At 50% HP she will use Paradisto, and then never again. The rest of her moves she uses at random. Polaris Spike, Divine Shot, Vortex Kick, and Stardust Ray are exclusive to her and are all learnable. Mag Storm is not exclusive to her but can be learned. Infinity Blade and Magma Axis cannot be learned because they are arts of the Saintblade and Ravager class respectively. Prophet's Rage and Paradisto are exclusive to her, but cannot be learned.
Her fight in Chronicles II is exactly the same, but the way to unlock her fight is different. This time you must clear the True Last Tale and then reload your save. This will cause "the aeons" to appear in the overworld under certain conditions, the strongest bosses in the game. Defeating all of them, including Barbello, ranks you up to the fabled Merc Rank 13, also known as "Koros Rank." This unlocks one final battle against "Visionary Koros", the strongest boss in the game at Lv1000. Not as hard as ELLUM AVATAR, but still VERY difficult.

What’s your thoughts on Nahida quest act 2? Tbh at first I thought they would make it into Cthulhu-esque Eldritch horror infection of the mind twisting the soul into unrecognizeable shape kinda deal after the trailer and half way into the quest (I love the Apep design so much it’s a beautiful natural disaster). After finishing it I just. I have many rants and conspiracy theories and I don’t know where to start.
i really like this quest! I've been huge fan of dragons lore since Enka. we didn't actually learn a lot of lore we didn't know before, but its good that it was spelled out loud instead of buried in side quests. Like, we already knew from "before sun and moon" that vishaps were native or teyvat and primordial one defeated them and we knew that Deshret fucked with the forbidden lore.
We did learn new things tho, frex, that dragons had a king named Nibelung, which ties to Nibelungian saga where Alberich and Rhinedottir names are from, so like I'm really interested to see how they gonna connect Khaenriah to dragons. Also we learned that vishaps can kinda like process?? purify?? forbidden knowledge, but the doses too big would still harm\corrupt them. Also, the fact that Deshret willingly let Apep eat his body (with added bonus of her being a buffer from inflicting his own forbidden knowledge corruption onto his ppl) I think adds to the theory that Deshret succeeded with uploading his conscience into Golden Slumber and is gonna be a major player in a story (or mb we already met him without knowing who he is, bc like Sinner from Caribert?? pretty sus, insists that he's not god and that was Deshret's major ideological point too, he even refused gnosis from celestia despite being so powerful, he was offered it without having to fight in archon war)
overall, lots to think about, and you can send me your theories if you want:)

im bringing back the shining nikki saga cause i just had a brilliant idea that i have to share.
all the genshin characters have their signature outfits right? so theoretically, nikki can harness the genshin character's designer's reflections and use their powers against them. like you know how zhongli had his signature rex lapis outfit with the hood? in comes nikki protecting the reader with the power of the geo archon.
imagine zhongli cornering nikki and the reader and going in for the final blow/ult attack, thinking that he's done his righteous duty in keeping the creator's pure name, only to see the smoke and dust settle and his own shield being used by another person who's wearing an eerily similar outfit to the one found on his statue of the seven.
and imagine how confused the people of liyue would be.
"is she the new geo archon?" "how can she wield such power?"
- curse anon
SHINING NIKKI SHINING NIKKI SHINING NIKKI
you’re so right actually. the reflections are slightly off from the real ones (i imagine) but like. god man.
(i don’t know how shining nikki nor reflections work so shhhhhhh)
youre cornered with nikki against a cliff, venti marching for you. you try to shield her behind you—she doesn’t deserve this, she’s not involved in this, keep her safe-
nikki summoned a reflection with a shout, and a gust of wind nearly sent you stumbling. she pulled you back, pushing you into a run, but you glanced back.
i giant form of barbatos stood tall, drawing a massive bow. it looked just like the statue: sweeping cloak, massive wings, a whirlwind forming at the tip of its bow. venti stepped back, shocked, staring up at the reflection with a mix of fear and awe.
before you could see the reflection’s arrow fly, nikki pulled you along, running with you into the forest.

['What is-' Dresden mumbled as he shifted in someones arms. whose arms was he in? He looked up tiredly to see a red faced Sir Jackson Bright. Dresden clambered off Jackson and stood in front of him, magma under his skin glowing in embarrassment. 'I- That was- I sincerely apologise, Bright.' Dresden stated, avoiding eye contact with the taller redhead. Jackson nodded, before rambling out a quick 'I borrowed your tumblr okay bye!' and practically running out of the office. Dresden sat back down in his office chair, magma still glowing brightly. He opened the browser, and clicked through to tumblr. He was immediately met with a rush of notifications, mostly people reacting to what Jackson must have said. Apparently one of the archons had a blog now. He went to his profile to add a link to their account - to let the others on the site quickly know about the blog, and also to keep things organised - when he was met with a surprise. At least Jackson had tagged all of the posts he had made, so he could see how he somehow came to the conclusion that pranking Dresden through the use of a false love confession was a good idea. That infuriating overseer probably had something to do with it. Several minutes later, Dresden realised that it was most likely not a prank, and that he probably had to talk to Jackson about this. Several days later, he was re-pinning his Introductory post, and editing it to both include the archon and his new boyfriend, although the latter still did not have his own tumblr account.]
[btw- i didnt explain this but any dresden interactions that happened during the jb takeover saga happened before it started in the timeline. in the canon of this rp blog, dresden talked to yall then fell asleep on jacks lap, then the jb takeover saga happened. after this then every dresden interaction will take place after the jbt saga. idk if i explained that right so feel free to ask questions lol!]
