It Looks To Be an Exciting Day in Bryce Canyon National Park! by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: A setting looking to the east-northeast while taking in views across hoodoos and other eroded formations present in Bryce Canyon National Park. This view is located at Sunset Point and just around sunrise. My thought on composing the image was to time an image captured around the point of sunrise, but some low clouds were present to minimize that look. I chose to work with HDR Efex Pro 2 to better bring that complete color setting in the image. I later exported a TIFF image to DxO PhotoLab 5 where I did some final adjustments with contrast, saturation and brightness for the final image.

i’ve been feeling really called to continue gaining my knowledge surrounding astrology and hopefully, eventually start doing my own readings down the line. i was just wondering how you started to find yourself becoming really immersed in the understanding of astrology and if you have any tips for someone who feels called to do the same?
(thank you, your work is very inspiring)
Hello,
thank you so so much, this was such a sweet message from you.
I was listening to every astrology channel on Youtube for 2 years before I even started to understand and could interpret a full (natal) chart. For the longest time, like a year I was then interpreting just particular placement. Then I also started looking into a full natal chart. And for another year, all I could do is just natal chart interpretations. I couldn't even understand synastry or composite chart yet. Not to mention persona charts. I read book on astrology in the library, online pdfs and resources. I also regularly talked to an acquintances to attended school of astrology and he gave me this awesome handbook on astrology as well that was written by his astrology teacher. I read through every astrology post here on Tumblr as well, I came across so so many cool blogs that I loved and I just read about aspect, placements, signs, their answers to questions. Another good thing is every astrology forum on the internet as well, these I must say are really hard core astrologers, I learnt so much about aspects from them, but also synastry and composite. When I started to listen to Indian astrologers and Vedic astrology on youtube and via websites/online I knew I was in it deep haha since being from Europe up to that point I mostly followed just Western astrology.
Currently I must say I crave to read something more stimulating. I kind of feel like I plateaued. I know general definitions and meaning in astrology just a bit too much, that it's sometimes harder to find something I haven't at least heard before. I keep looking in actual physical books now rather then online, since online it can get repetitive. But one area I still feel like I need to learn more online is degree theory and just overall on degrees. I wish to know more about degrees.
I always recommend doing astrology, especially if you have pointers to that in your natal/Midheaven Persona chart. Like I've interpreted many charts where I noticed the person has Uranus in the 2nd, Aquarius over the 3rd house, Scorpio over the 11th house, Aquarius over the 7th house, Pisces Moon, Neptune in the 4th house, Pisces IC, Aquarius IC etc. and I always suggest going into astrology more seriously. Because some of these aspects are really good, like not just a regular person that has a slight interest in astrology, but someone who would really grasp the concept very easy.
I wish you a lot of success in this field. I must say I'm still passionate about it even after years now and I think this is the only thing that makes my blog look inspiring. That I have the same passion as I had on day one.

Buckle Up for Transformation: A Non-Astrology Guide to Pluto in Aquarius
Imagine you've been hiking a steep mountain for years. You've built solid footing with each step, but you know there's more to explore. Suddenly, you reach a plateau - a chance to catch your breath and see beyond the familiar terrain. This, in a nutshell, is the shift we're experiencing with Pluto moving into Aquarius.
Here's the gist for self-development enthusiasts:
Past (2008-2023): Think of this as scaling the mountain. You tackled personal and societal foundations, power structures, and security. You may have felt things crumbling around you, but it was for a reason - to make room for something new.
Present (2024): This is your plateau moment. Pluto dips back into Capricorn for a final check-in, ensuring the foundation is solid. Then, in November, it blasts off into Aquarius, a sign of innovation, change, and collectivity.
Future (2024-2043): Get ready for a whole new landscape! This 19-year transit is about building new structures together. Think of it like co-creating a sustainable, future-proof village on that mountain top.
What does it mean for you?
Embrace change: Like a good hike, the path ahead might be unpredictable, but it's full of potential. Don't cling to the old just because it's familiar and feels safe. Step outside your comfort zone and explore new possibilities. Be open to new ideas and ways of doing things.
Think collective: We're not just building personal success anymore, it's about how we can all thrive together. Connect with others. Consider volunteering, collaborating, or supporting causes you care about. Aquarius emphasizes community and collaboration. Find your tribe and work together to create a better future.
Think big: Dream big picture! What kind of world do you want to live in? Let your imagination run wild.
Be open to transformation: Don't be afraid of losing your old skin. Change is inevitable, and it can lead to incredible growth.
Bonus Tip: Think of inspiring examples of changemakers who embody the Aquarius spirit - Nikola Tesla, Elon Musk, Banksy are some examples. How can you channel their courage, innovation, and collective vision in your own life?

Tumblr media
Utah's Dixie National Forest is a hidden gem that beckons backpackers with its rugged beauty, diverse landscapes, and a profound sense of solitude. Covering more than 2 million acres, it spans a vast region of southern Utah, offering a remarkable array of trails and wilderness experiences. In this essay, we'll delve into the world of backpacking in Dixie National Forest, exploring its unique features, diverse ecosystems, and the rewards it holds for adventurous hikers.
The Variety of Landscapes Dixie National Forest is renowned for its stunning diversity of landscapes, encompassing everything from high alpine meadows to deep red rock canyons. One of the key attractions for backpackers is the forest's elevation range, which spans from 2,800 feet in the lower desert regions to over 11,000 feet at the highest peaks. This wide range offers hikers the opportunity to experience multiple ecosystems in a single backpacking trip.
The Pine Valley Mountains One of the most captivating backpacking destinations within Dixie National Forest is the Pine Valley Mountains. These ancient, sky-piercing peaks offer a challenging and rewarding experience. The Whipple Trail and the Bear Trap Canyon Trail are two popular routes that lead hikers through lush forests of aspen and pine, pristine alpine lakes, and panoramic vistas that seem to stretch endlessly.
The Aquarius Plateau The Aquarius Plateau, often called the "Roof of Utah," is another backpacker's paradise within Dixie National Forest. This high-elevation region boasts a network of trails that wind through lush meadows, dense forests, and pristine lakes. The Great Western Trail, which crosses the plateau, provides opportunities for extended backpacking journeys, revealing breathtaking scenery and the chance to spot diverse wildlife.
The Escalante District Dixie National Forest's Escalante District is renowned for its slot canyons, unique rock formations, and a sense of true wilderness. Backpackers can explore trails like the Lower Calf Creek Falls Trail, which meanders through a stunning desert canyon to a pristine, 126-foot waterfall, providing an oasis in the arid landscape. The district also offers access to the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, adding to the allure of backpacking in this region.
The Dark Skies Beyond its terrestrial beauty, Dixie National Forest is known for its exceptionally dark skies. Backpackers can experience a celestial wonderland by camping under the stars. The lack of light pollution allows for unparalleled stargazing opportunities, making this forest an ideal destination for astrophotography and simply marveling at the wonders of the night sky.
Solitude and Reflection One of the most remarkable aspects of backpacking in Dixie National Forest is the solitude it offers. This vast wilderness provides a sense of isolation and tranquility that is increasingly rare in today's world. Backpackers can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, find solitude in nature, and reflect on the profound beauty of the landscape. Backpacking in Dixie National Forest is a journey into the heart of Utah's wilderness. The Forest is divided into four geographic areas. High altitude forests in gently rolling hills characterize the Markagunt, Paunsaugunt, and Aquarius Plateaus. Boulder Mountain, one of the largest high-elevation plateaus in the United States, is dotted with hundreds of small lakes 10,000–11,000 feet (3,000–3,400 m) above sea level. The forest includes the Pine Valley Mountains north of St. George.

Coombs Village Site The Coombs Site appears to have been the largest settlement along the southern slopes of the Aquarius Plateau; as such, it must have exerted considerable influence on peoples residing in its immediate environs. Large open sites are not common in this area or In the adjacent areas which have been subject to investigations (e.g., the Kaiparowits Plateau, the Escalante River…

QUICK MESSAGES FOR ALL SIGNS
ARIES: It’s time to take action. You’ve been planning, waiting, and trusting in Divine Timing and now is the time. Don’t think too much, just do it. This could be about expressing your love to someone or putting in the time to love yourself. Whatever it is, you are in your power right now, so have confidence and don’t look back.
LEO: There’s something you want to say to someone, perhaps a mother or feminine figure. You want to make it work with this person, but there’s fear that what you say may cause destruction. Honor your truth and speak your mind, but know that if a tower comes crashing down, that’s meant to happen, and you’ll find your peace on the other side.
SAGITTARIUS: If you have been finding yourself stuck in a limbo, the energy is about to shift and change. All the pain and suffering you have endured is coming to a close. This is a time for you to nurture yourself and practice self-care because the energy may change unexpectedly, and you need to prepare for it by taking care of yourself. Your manifestations are getting ready to come into fruition, do not lose hope!
GEMINI: Get ready to let go of the past and become an entirely new person. You’re closing out a cycle and with it, your soul is evolving. You’re becoming attuned with your higher self and spirituality. Your intuition is becoming more prominent, and you cannot ignore those gut feelings any longer. You are finding your truth, so honor it when it happens. It may be not what you’re use to but that is what is intended. Have the confidence to move forward without any fear or doubt. This new cycle will bring everything you’ve ever wanted.
LIBRA: You’ve recently gone through a transformation that changed everything you’ve ever believed in. Could have been a spiritual awakening of sorts or simply discovering a new part of yourself. This energy is one that you can trust and use to bring forth any successes and achievements you’ve set your sails on. Your journey has made you stronger and wiser, you cannot be messed with. You have the capability of pursuing any dream you know will bring you ultimate happiness.
AQUARIUS: You may feel like everyone around you is getting everything they want. You’ve been waiting and manifesting and hoping for your turn, but it feels like you’re always left out. Trust that your wishes are being worked on behind the scenes. They will come into your life when it’s the right time. The best things in life are always worth waiting for, but I feel your impatience and frustration. Find your power and look for balance during this time because this plateau is necessary for your spiritual growth.
CANCER: There’s something you want to get off your chest to a certain someone of your past. This is someone you highly value and see a lot of worth in. You may talk yourself out of speaking your truth because of fears that it might not go the way you want it to, or you feel like there’s nothing you can say to make it better. You feel heartbroken and heavily miss this person. Follow your heart, don’t analyze the situation too much. There’s only one way to find out.
SCORPIO: You may not be receiving love from a certain individual and that’s ok. They may not be showing it but they are really proud of you. They haven’t said everything they’re feeling but please know that’s only a reflection of their own issues that have nothing to do with you. For a lot of you this may be a parent, a sibling, or a relative of some kind. You’ve accomplished a lot this year so be proud of yourself! And you’re about to embark on a new journey so focus your energy on that instead and your life will feel more full.
PISCES: Believe in yourself and all that you’ve accomplished! Yes, life has been hard, but you’re kicking its ass like no other. You have a lot to be grateful for and you’ve come such a long way. Try look to at the glass half full more often and you will see how much positivity actually surrounds you. When we get too caught up in the negativity it can drown us so be careful! When you have faith and trust, you’re an unstoppable force. Practice gratitude more and see where it takes you. You are not a victim of your circumstances, you are ALWAYS loved and protected. Trust that the best is always happening for you in its right timing.
TAURUS: You may have been having disagreements with a certain person, someone who thinks differently than you. You both may have been saying things you don’t mean in order to get your point across and/or could be a power trip in this dynamic. Pay attention to this relationship and try to be more compassionate or understanding. You both may come off cold and reserved so more love is needed here. Once you both are able to communicate and get on the same page, balance will be restored and there will be peace and healing. If this person doesn't want to budge than it’s time to set some boundaries and distance yourself.
VIRGO: After a period of chaos you are finally going to start having some fun in your life. There’s a new endeavor you’re feeling passionate about and this will bring great success. Have faith and pursue this desire! You feel as though this is an epiphany of something you've always wanted to do but perhaps felt the timing was never right, but now it is. Success is written all over the board. This is an endeavor you’re going to have to work hard for but with all the passion you feel towards it, it’s not going to feel like work at all so have fun and enjoy yourself! Victory is yours!
CAPRICORN: You’ve been worrying for some time and have been feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders. This energy is no longer going to be a burden to you and you will receive your justice! It’s taken some time of introspection for you to understand all you’ve been going through but it’s all starting to make sense. You’re finally at the end of this cycle and can trust that it’s all going to get better from here. You can relax and stop worrying because the Divine is going to make sure everything goes in your favor. Have faith in this transition and be ready to let go of what is no longer serving you!

the signs as wikipedia’s dad jokes
ARIES: What did the fish say when he swam into the wall? Dam! TAURUS: A ham sandwich walks into a bar and the bartender says...Sorry we don't serve food here. GEMINI: What does a highlighter say when it answers the phone? A: Yello!! CANCER: Granddad always told me that things could be worse -- I could fall into a deep hole full of water, but I knew he meant well. LEO: Plateaus are the highest form of flattery. VIRGO: What's the difference between a pun and a Dad joke? It will become apparent. LIBRA: What do a tick and the Eiffel Tower have in common? A: They're both Paris sites.  SCORPIO: Does your face hurt? Because it's killing me. SAGITTARIUS: I am wrapping Christmas presents. Let’s put on some rap music. CAPRICORN: They've tried to improve the efficiency of wind farms by playing country music around them, but it's not working because they're really just big heavy metal fans. AQUARIUS: What's the opposite of water? A: Yellow snow. PISCES: What do you call a mermaid on a roof? A: Aerial.

What of 'conurbations'?" he asked rhetorically early on in his work. For his coinage, Geddes combined urbs (the Latin word for "city," already familiar in urban and suburb) with the Latin prefix con- ("together") and the English noun suffix -ation. Moon in Libra, Saturday, May 22, combines precision and mastery with a desire to be the first at something, or perhaps number one in a relationship, as a Grand Trine in the air element feeds a Kite aspect pattern topped off by self aware Chiron in Aries, opposing the moon in perfection seeking and relationship minded Libra. The Grand trine pattern involves the Libra moon, disciplined Saturn in futuristic Aquarius, and the destiny determining North Node and attention seeking Venus in playful and communicative Gemini. The tension between the opposition of the moon in "we" Libra, and Chiron in "I am" Aries, is tempered by three trines and two sextile aspects that encourage communication, cooperation, and constructive actions directed toward a better future or a correction of imbalance in a relationship. If you have been sitting at a plateau, knowing your work or relationship could be better, but not quite seeing how to go about making it happen, today's lunar transit and extremely supportive aspects could help you make it to the next level. For some, the continued practice of a new skill pays off now, as that skill becomes hardwired into your system, becoming a natural part of you. And for others, there may be an understanding of how to be energetically connected to another, without losing the self. #horoscope #dailyhoroscope #moon #moontransit #mooninlibra #Libra #astrology #astrologer https://www.instagram.com/p/CPLYMxYnXdP/?utm_medium=tumblr
