Vincent's Stray Dog costume has a tail in the opposite colors to Cait Sith's tail. I never knew my ship would get so much food in 2024! 🥰
I couldn't help myself...
Pampered Mayor's Cat Reeve gets lost in the city, is almost hit by a car, and is pushed to safety by Stray Dog Vincent, who now can't pry Reeve off. They have adventures all night while discovering friendship and love, like a low budget 80s movie that everyone mocks but secretly adores. 😳💖

Nice
There's been a lot of ridiculous armor on this blog but I think this one might be one of the most bizarre? How does any of that even stay on? Did she glue that gold cup to her boob? Is she even wearing any underwear? Is she some sort of genderswap Achilles but her weak spots are her left nipple and her arms and that's why they're the most armored???

I wish I could personally thank whoever it was at SE or Applibot that decided Cloud should literally dress up like Death Gigas for Halloween. This isn't a reference or a sideways implication or something where you have to tilt your head and squint—Cloud is literally, 100 percent, dressed as Death Gigas.
It's not even just that the bolts are in more or less the same places or that the color palette is identicial—his costume is designed to match the concept art. The stitches on his chest are in the same place, he's got the same plate on his belt, the bandages that mostly had to be cut in the final model for the OG are all exactly in place on Cloud's costume.
Absolutely insane. Strifentine confirmed.

Young Sephiroth -- Alone in Thoughts
Welp, I'm back with another FFVII art, and this time, it's young Sephiroth. I know it's not the best title, but best I can do lol
I always thought that young Sephiroth is the cutest boy in the game, even at the tender age of his ^^. Man, if only I didn't have to grind so much in order to see what Sephiroth's past really was ^^;
I was actually doing great in Ever Crisis :). SPOILER for those who hadn't played EC, but after it's 1st anniversary during the login in prizes, I got A LOT of stuff to level up with! I had been days without grinding for so long that I got through FFVII, Crisis Core and First Soldier fast enough (and all chapters, but completed some along with events (which not completed yet lol)). And I also got Sephiroth's ultimate weapon, which I didn't even think I would get it until about two days ago I believe. I am hoping soon to finish First Soldier before the episode 2 comes out! This is the first Ever Crisis fanart I made ^^
I was going to get this displayed earlier than today, but I got busy ^^;.

Princess Galatea Cypress, Lady Whitemarch
“Legend of the Cryptids - Caella reg.” © Applibot Inc, accessed at the artist’s gallery here
[The yang to General Abdalla Aulorian’s yin, this character is definitely @strawberry-crocodile‘s darling, the main NPC in the one-on-one Pathfinder game she’s running for me. The stats and flavor-text have been written with her approval. I find it delightful how we both brought a lawful evil, deeply resentful, character to the table, but they both have very different approaches and personalities despite that. Like Abdalla, I do intend to have more stat blocks of Galatea in the future, but she has changed less so far in the game.]
Galatea Cypress CR 12 LE Humanoid (human) This woman is statuesque, with blond hair reaching down to her waist and piercing indigo eyes. She is beautiful and youthful, but her face is as hard as the sword on her hip.
To Galatea Cypress, to love something is to control it. Her father, who doted on her and followed her whims until a runaway wife soured his mood. Her brother, who can be guided and manipulated like a dog. Her servants, who follow her orders on threat of punishment. And most of all, her wonderful toys, glimmering porcelain automata that obey her to the word. And anyone and anything she cannot control? Well, they can be discarded or destroyed.
Although Galatea is a skilled duelist, she typically fights with her rapier only to toy with an opponent or to put something out of her misery. She’s used to getting her hands dirty; in a fit of pique when she was fourteen, she stabbed her father’s prized stallion to death. Still, she prefers to stay in the back ranks, using spells to debilitate and distract enemies until she can finish them off, or one of her allies can do it for her. Galatea’s most treasured minions are her squad of porcelain soldiers and her right hand monster, the sahkil Baetrachulltchum (but call her Betty). Galatea would not hesitate for a second to sacrifice any or all of her followers in order to save her own life.
Galatea is the eldest daughter of one of the most powerful families in the Whitemarch province of Taldor, giving her the titles of Princess and Lady Whitemarch. Because of her gender and the Taldan legal code, she has no claim to her family estate, and has always felt deeply bitter towards her younger brother. She currently schemes for ways to usurp the power of her house, or at least redirect its wealth and prestige to supporting her projects alone. She is terrified of death because she has a sickening certainty about where her soul will go when she dies. As such, she is experimenting with combining construct and living creatures, with the ultimate goal of living forever in a magnificent porcelain body. Most of her humanoid testees/victims have not survived her ministrations, but rumors of a captured Chelish officer, a tiefling woman who survived a great fall with only a shattered ankle, have given her the idea for her next experimental subject.
Porcelain Construct (Simple Template) Galatea’s favorite medium for crafting constructs is porcelain. These creatures are beautiful and easy to control, but are somewhat more fragile than the average construct. “Porcelain construct” is a simple template that can be added to any creature with the clockwork subtype. A porcelain construct loses its vulnerability to electricity, and does not need to be wound. It gains vulnerability to sonic damage, and is treated as a crystalline creature for the purposes of shatter, shout and similar spells and effects. A porcelain construct uses the Craft (ceramics) skill instead of the Craft (clockwork) skill, but otherwise has the same cost and construction requirements.

So about that latest FF7EC Crisis Core Chapter...
...IDK I'm just sad and disappointed at the lack of effort that seemed to be put in?
Like
I know our favourite boys (Angeal and Genesis) suffer from some writing issues in the original CC, but for some reason, they just feel... extra flat in FF7EC. Like, every time I watch an FF7EC CC chapter, I just get this gnawing sense of hollowness. Like the entire retelling just feels empty and lacklustre.
Not to mention they just have Genesis drop in from the ceiling, say some cryptic stuff, and then vanish. All the nuance is just gone. (And let's be fair a lot of subtle stuff in the FF7EC retelling has been dropped, so it's not just Genesis that's getting poor treatment).
Anyway this is mostly be being damn salty that:
a) Genesis didn't blow ANYTHING up
b) Hojo is the one to say 'LOVELESS, Act IV' and not Gen, the hell's with that?
c) Genesis just plops into the helipad outside, without dramatically perching on a pole like the birdman he his,
d) They took away Angeal's 'flying feels pretty good' line AND I AM SO UPSET ABOUT THAT
e) The game couldn't be arsed to show the correct Bahamut summon either. And they have the goddamn model from CCR, surely...
I can only hope and pray the effort by Square/Applibot is being redirected into FS Episode 2 where baby AGS will shine. ;__;

I love baby Seph's new model. Just look at this comparison, holy shit.
Bigger eyes! By about 7%, yes I checked, SE and Applibot are a bunch of nerds and I'm here for it, now he looks much closer to the 13-15 he actually is than the 16-18 people have been asserting.
Better hair! The texture is noticeably improved, and also the rigging appears to have been fixed so it's not constantly clipping into his face anymore.
Better color palette! He's slightly warmer overall, meaning no more weird greenish sheen to his hair or sickly tinge to his skin, even in shadow; his lower eyelids don't look bruised anymore, either.
Fixed shaders! His hair doesn't reflect back white at random, the whites of his eyes don't look weirdly flat anymore, and his skin no longer looks like it's covered in a thin layer of plastic.
Overall a phenomenal improvement.
