Hearing PHW was fired from Wednesday.
PHW is a disgusting human being and his firing from season 2 of 'Wednesday' is the best move Netflix could have pulled. erasing his character from all of the showâs merchandise also further preserves itâs image. if you support or defend this man, block this account.
So here's a thread of the allegations with evidence to back it up

Honest reaction: I haven't even seen the actual long lasting evidence against White (I've been doing a bit of reading around, trying to find the source of these accusations). I found a decent Medium post (maybe you gave me the link before, I don't remember, recall I'm not great right now due to dog passing) that tried to explain things but the Twitter links are all broken. I.e. the girls who accused him deleted the accusations.
There was one link that worked though, a link to a recording of his account being what could be perceived as homophobic, and I found that juvenile and a bit homophobic. I don't do homophobes, even though all the Wenclairs think me to be one at the moment (sorry, but if you need to gripe about a 'phobic trans man, go do it about fkn transphobic Buck Angel...now that is a vile excuse for a human in general).
But, he was also young. He still is. They're all still frightfully young, at the age where the average PFC hasn't settled. And Ortega was/(is?) friends with him. If he spoke and did things like that in public, imagine the kind of shit he said in private with Ortega and the rest of the gang. And she didn't care about that, still hung out with him and made a whole ass movie with him.
But now, after being harassed about him, she's shut herself down from making anything public. She has a similar view of celebrity that I do (but from an obviously different perspective). She spoke about not planning on talking about her personal life
and also spoke, under the topic of her Palestine support/leaving Scream 7; however the only people who really complain about political correctness are conservative leaning, and I think her comment about it reaches beyond the subject of Palestine politics:
I don't think she's that conservative, but she is mindful that echo chambers aren't a good thing and that conversation around hot topics needs to be honest.
So I am being honest about my criticisms of the novelization and how it relates to canon (our canon being the show/M&G's team writing/Burton's directing/Ortega's performance). And of the fandom reactions. And of the definite queerbaiting that's going on with it.
It doesn't help that Ortega's painted as a girl kisser for what she does on screen, but that's acting. Christina Ricci did the exact same thing in her acting career. She kissed (and made out with) Charlize Theron in Monster. She kissed Ashley Greene in Pan Am. She deep-kissed (and presumably fkd) Ruby Rose in Around the Block.
youtube
There's more I believe, but you get the picture. Now, Ricci is married with a kid she had during the filming of Wednesday. She has said that "I am a Christian. I haven't really talked about that before. It is something very private. But I do pray and my beliefs are very important to me." It's the same vibe Ortega gave off in her book, but she doesn't freely talk about it now. They know the lines between acting and real life, and it's still defined the way that it has always been defined: Acting is acting. That definition hasn't changed, but the perception of the actor vs. their actions has been twisted into self-identity by fans and people who aren't actors.
Nothing with Ricci's work was queerbaiting (and essentially, nothing Ortega does in her work is purposeful baiting), but this book is definitely bait and retcon, and I am sorely disappointed that a trans man would contribute to the baiting of kids in the community at the expense of canon.
âšâđœâš
I'm not a White stan or a Wavier stan. I said before that I really don't care who ships what (unless it's real people: STOP FUCKING DOING THAT, ALL Y'ALLS, JERCY AND JEMMA ALIKE); Wednesday is going to be single and singularly minded in Wednesday 2, and nothing fandom does (including Mejia) can do anything about that. It's the Enid/Ajax factor that people are really ignoring, just as they're ignoring it in W1; once again, Ortega and co. said that there would be no romance for Wednesday herself, but given that this is a teen show, romance will be a part of it, and it's interesting that so far I haven't seen anyone ask them directly about Enid/Ajax, they're always asking about the relationship between Wednesday and Enid and I think that makes Myers tired and uncomfortable at this point, especially since she doesn't want to totally piss off the fan base. (Imagine doing promo for your new non-Wednesday Netflix movie and being constantly asked about it.) Enid's gonna be Wednesday's "guard dog". đ Better than nothing, eh.
All of that said, I am still part of the đłïžâđđłïžââ§ïž brigade and always will be. I'm an elder now. I've been through all of that shit everyone's worried about happening to them. I was harassed mercilessly in my New England high school because of it, because I lived my life openly at a time when it wasn't safe to do so (1989 through 1992 were my high school years); there wasn't a day that went by that I wasn't harassed by this one fucker who would bend down (I was a short queen like Ortega đ) and scream "DYYYYYYYKE!" in my face or shove me into the cold, concrete walls. (It only stopped after he and his buddies were killed in a fiery car crash next to one of my friend's houses...they were drunk and lost control of the fkn car, slammed into a tree...OH WELL đïž). And no, there was no help for me back then; the counselors and Headmaster were both homophobes.
So it does make me bristle when the kids think that these criticisms are attacking them because of their sexuality, or that I'm attacking the novel because of its Wenclair bones. That whole "stop being homophobic!" is the same old kind of shit some of us in Potter faced when Black Hermione was being pushed around as canon ("stop being racist!"). Black Hermione found her way to adjacent "canon" sanctioned by Rowling in Cursed Child, but she never pushed back at it by bringing up her multiple conceptual drawings of Hermione as a little white British girl with fluffy/curly hair (and really, people pushing that she HAD to be Black because of her hair is fkn racist in itself). Don't get me started on the mental gymnastics used to force an Indian background on Harry. There hasn't been any pushback on Wenclair either because they all have seen how vicious the kids can get these days with social media so integral to their lives; to them it's personal.
But pushback needs to be free of judgements or language that can be construed as homophobic. I've seen you, romance, calling things "sick" and such in relation to this whole argument. Wenclair as a ship isn't sick; it's fun fantasy, just as most fandom ships are supposed to be. I get that Wenovan is squicky to people, but it isn't any more or less squicky than Snapemione (which has a MUCH bigger fanbase than Wenovan...Black Bubblegum is a tiny, tiny speck in comparison); it's the same concept. (Precocious, super intelligent girl going after the old, broken, but knowledgeable man. Donovan is no Snape, but situationally it's very similar to Snapemione. Think about it.)
Back in Potter before Joanne went transphobic nuts, we all coexisted like normal humans, acknowledging each other's ships and debating about them if there was upset (my GOD the ship wars đ I only survived because I didn't make a fucking Horcrux based on my ship...I shipped Pumpkin Pie, but never treated it as seriously as others, so I sat on the sidelines watching people burn each other to the ground in the Harmony/Pumpkin Pie vs. Good Ship & Chocolate). This may seem like a digression, but what I'm getting to: We were all critical of each others' ships, but we never let it get towards a place where it could be construed as awful, anti-gay, bigoted criticism. Slashers and femslashers existed, we were all comrades in fandom, and I didn't witness any fandom people using homophobic language against others; that came with Warriors for Innocence.
I understand that with the evolution of social media, there was an evolution of identity and identity politics that transformed the way we relate to things in the media, and under that media. The new generation of fans are a product of lives lived with a saturation of social media woven into their personal identity and a self-identification that bleeds into their judgements. They desperately need their fanon to be canon because they want Ortega to be representative, they see her as a girl kisser so it has to be, and Mejia gave them the fan service that they were craving after two years of hearing nothing; they call it canon because it was commissioned by Netflix and MGM.
But it is not canon. Our canon is what we see on the screen; what Millar & Gough, Burton, and the other writers and directors put out.
More importantly, our canon is what Ortega so carefully put out for us; she was pulling her own hair out, crying, and not getting much sleep over it. That her performance was not respected is also what bothers me.
The famous dance scene in particular, the one that created a sensation around the world, was completely and utterly decimated by Mejia in favor of injecting fanon Wenclair into the scene; where NC/(Netflix Canon, I've used this before) Wednesday dances alone to her own beat for and with Tyler until the first paint drops fall (ha ha, WOW, as I write this, "Welcome to the Rave'N!" just happened on my TV), Fanon Wednesday dances with Enid bumping shoulders (and then having after-dance conversation with her). It is a penultimate example of retconning.
As the linked piece says, retconning isn't always bad, but here, it is bad. And we don't have to accept it as canon. We can dissect it and talk about it as it relates to fandom and the show without judgement about the đłïžâđ slant that the Wenclairs are taking it to be, and without the language that is offensive to the community, and that's all that I'm doing. It really isn't my fault that the kids are taking it as an all-out assault on their ship, but when you use language that is judgemental about it, it reflects poorly on the argument that we're trying to make. So please, stop with the "disgusting!" talk.
I realize that the majority of those pissy about what I'm saying aren't going to read all of this â they're certainly commenting about subjects I addressed in previous postings because they don't fucking read anything that flies against their solid walls of brainrot. They're complaining that I should use the "anti" tag instead of the Wenclair tag, but yanno...no. That doesn't work, since this is the relevant topic and it's not anti; I see Wenclair as part of the party of fandom, since other ships exist beyond it (just as Drarry and Hermioninny and even Weasleycest exist/ed in the Potter fandom). My sentiments about this novelization are anti-retcon, so sure, I'll use THAT tag. Perhaps you too can be reasonable about this so we can discuss Mejia's novelization without the judgements.
Literally, the minute Wednesday left the room, Enid invited her boyfriend over and started snogging him enthusiastically...
Yeah, I see the queer coding #wenclair have been talking about đđ«ą lol.
On the other hand, Xavier is devastated that Wednesday kissed another boy, even though she was the one to put him in jail...
And the turmoil that "the kiss" caused him was greater than the one caused by being falsely accused...
Trust me, if such a passion existed between Wednesday and Enid, I would be the first to notice.
@hislittleraincloud
#wenclair shippers don't want us to use the hashtag simply because they are being roasted with canon events from the show, and none of them are capable of giving arguments to defend their ship.
All they do is resort to insults or gaslighting.
Not to mention that these vile creatures targeted Percy for an entire defamation campaign that we will be exposing very soon.

I was 15 once too, so I try to give grace to the antisâ ignorance. I feel like the ones who arenât just trolls, and genuinely just donât know any better think that âwhy doesnât he just say somethingâ or âwhy wouldnât he sue if they were lyingâ is that simple.
Iâve gone over keeping silent as a legal strategy ad nauseum, so I wonât rehash that.
When it comes to suing, I think this line of thinking really shows that they donât have any real world experience. I think they are looking through a very narrow lens, where their only exposure to the real world at large is through social media and procedural legal and law enforcement tv shows. At 15 or younger, a majority of them have probably barely been out of their hometown. Their world is small, and itâs all they know.
They really think, oh just sue someone, itâs as simple of making a phone call or waving a magic wand. If theyâve never had a job, then they donât have any experience or appreciation of money. They donât understand the struggle of having to weigh the cost and benefit of actions.
In their ignorance, they really think anyone they perceive as âwealthyâ can just throw money at a problem and get on with their life.
If the only things they know of law are via tv shows or twitter, then of course they think making a dramatic and impassioned statement is the way to go. Of course they think lawsuits happen at the drop of a hat. Of course they think the legal system is in and out within a few weeks. They see on tv where the cops make an arrest mere days after theyâre alerted of a crime. They see a trial in the very next scene cut. They see attorneys making grandiose, dramatic âgotchaâ statements. They see where itâs super clear cut who the âbad guyâ is that they saw through 3rd person omniscient POV that the defendants for sure were guilty, so the jury follows suit.
Again, @heyharoldsboo 's advice to not engage is the correct one. Not only are these antis ignorant, but theyâre also too immature to see past their magical thinking. They will always have some âwell, thenâ excuse to keep thinking what they want to think. If not, then theyâll simply convince themselves that youâre taking the situation too seriouslyâŠright after they called for PHW to be arrested.
You canât reason with the unreasonable.
These people are psychic terrorists, and you should treat them as such.
I do think we should take a page out of their playbook and try to game the algorithm. Tag Percy Hynes White and spread his accomplishments.
Let the world know, our boy is an Award Winning actor.Â

hey there arty, happy birthday!! Iâve seen some stuff, so I just wanted to ask, are you anti-danneel?
hey, nonnie, tysm! well, itâs very hard to answer. cause Iâve seen people make evidenced posts about what Danneel may or may not be doing, but Iâve also seen posts otherwise, and ultimately a lot on social media or just with celebrities in general tend to be taken wrong, like the Percy Hynes White case. so my verdict is that sheâs innocent until definitely proven guilty.
my advice is to not take anything without definite proof, like if Jensen does genuinely step out and say that âDanneel has done x, y, zâ, which I am aware is very hard to do if heâs suffering some form of physical, verbal or psychological abuse, or if heâs keeping quiet for the sake of his kidsâ happiness, but you canât assume anything without definitive proof, which would be something like Danneel getting caught on video or by someone when sheâs making an actual jab at Jensen which is undeniably something meant to harm or hurt.
until that happens, Iâll have to say no, because at times things on social media are blown out of proportion with what they can actually be. donât get caught up in all the drama, I guess, unless you know every single fact from both sides, so just make statements when youâre fully informed.
hope this helps!

If you scroll far back enough to October 2023, you can see her reposts and where she stands.
I know youâre not a Percy fan, but this circles back to him and how people tore apart his alt account (that didnât even have his actual name attached to it). Where are those people for this person? Since they love holding people accountable for their actions and words. The hypocrisy is insane.
Don't need to scroll back that far to be able to tell that she's a Zionist. One of those mealy-mouthed ones who say (and repost, like she did) stuff like this: "As an Israeli and a Jew, I want innocent Palestinians to have every freedom and dignity possible. But I will never accept anyone telling me Palestinian rights should or can be grabbed through mass murdering Jews." as if Israel hasn't been continuously fucking the Palestinians for decades since its inception (and is fucking it now, with 42,000 Palestinian casualties vs. 1,700 Israeli casualties).
I was far too old when I dove into the history of the region, but I did, after Rachel Corrie's death. While I studied some International Relations, Middle East/Gaza conflict escaped my modules, so I caught up after she was bulldozed by the IDF.
The war did not start on October 7, 2023, but people like to pretend that it did. It's never too late to learn about the atrocities, not just towards Palestinians. My Jewish friend/neighbor had no clue that Israeli officials admitted to giving birth control to Jewish Ethiopian (read: Black) migrants without their consent until I informed her of said fucked up fact this past spring. There's a lot of shitty things that state has done, and criticizing it should not be equated with anti-Semitism.
But back to Alpert herself. What exactly can those vicious little Wenclairs do? You know they're gonna watch W2 regardless (as will I...just to see how shitty it turns out to be, since it's really Millar & Gough's show and they don't know how to tighten up their stories). Alpert probably stayed on the team as both writer and EP; can't say that for certain, but given the nominations the show received (the bar really is very low*), I'd want to stay on as well.
*The bar is very, very low given their win for this:
when the special effects makeup for Wednesday and Thornhill/Gates at the end of the episode was utterly fucked and incongruous.
What will people do? They don't really give a fuck what their creators think or do, so long as there's an opportunity to virtue signal on an issue that makes them believe themselves to be free of moral blemishes, and it's created an atmosphere of vigilante discourse, where everyone's afraid to say any goddamn thing in fear of being canceled.
As for White, I don't think I said I wasn't a fan, I said I'm not a stan. I don't think I've even had the opportunity to become a White fan because I've only seen his work in Wednesday. Really want to see that craptastic romcom he made with Ortega, and My Old Ass.
To address the other shit, I simply cannot say anything either way, since one of the main defense articles I was sent was full of broken links to the accusers' accounts/deleted tweets (and the spam that Isis bombarded me with was irrelevant and nonsensical shit, save for her insistence on sending me the nudes and not comprehending what in fuck I was trying to tell her in her own native fucking language; escrevo um portuguĂȘs muito bĂĄsico, mas ela estava a responder como alguĂ©m gravemente subdesenvolvido neurologico đ).
He was accused of some heinous shit, and as of today, October 8, 2024, there hasn't been a whisper or word that any cases are going forward with prosecution, or that these accusers are even standing their ground. Trump's accusers have always stood their ground. Weinstein's, Epstein's. Not a tweet or article rescinded or deleted. Hynes White isn't and has never been some kind of power player (despite being a nepo baby) in the industry and those girls have little to fear by standing their ground, especially when fucking Danny Masterson had the whole of $cientology and half of Hollywood supporting his shitty ass and he still got 30 to life because his accusers stood their ground.
I don't think I'm being unreasonable for asking for the truth of the accusations; not just whether or not he did anything that they said he did, but also whether or not they were just plain false. False allegations are always fucking bullshit, no matter who makes them and for whatever reasons. Firing someone because of false allegations is also bullshit (we saw that happen with Depp), and if they were indeed false, then the whole of Netflix and the Wednesday crew would owe White a huge apology...not that that would ever happen (the WB & Disney have yet to apologize to Depp, and the recast of Grindelwald was terrible).
Anyway. I feel like this kid was cast due in part to his type-similarity to White
(same height as White, lanky, pale, same weird, recessed eyes/slightly sunken in look) because you know that the non-chronically online people are going to be tuning in expecting to see Percy as Xavier but then they'll see this guy and be all, "Wait...is that supposed to be the kid from the last season? Why's he look different (and more attractive)..." and then when they realize that he's a whole different character they might wonder what happened (and Google for answers). This has been a thing in lots of shows, lots of soap operas in particular, and I feel like this is happening with W2. Shake up the cast, distract with whole ass non-continuity, et voilĂ ...the audience is dumb and won't notice, right.
Honestly, I wish that it had just been a straight-on recast, because if Painter was the new Xavier, I'd go strong for Wavier again. He's much more attractive than White and Doohan.
Damn, that was a ramble. I did mention that it's hot in here and I can hardly think.

The fact that Percy is UNDERAGE heavily factors in to why I wonât ship Andy with any adults bc everyone including Natalie (yâknow, the girl playing his sister) is an Adultâąïž and that sort of content of seeing HIS own face and being tagged with HIS name might make him uncomfortable. Hell, might make his parents queasy knowing adults are ST/IT-ing their kid.
Plus, I was just watching a terrible movie called Rupture, saw this kid who looked like a young Percy, turned out to BE Percy, and the film came out last year when he was fifteen but he looks like a fucking eleven year old with his generic haircut and scrawny limbs. He hit puberty last week and yâall are shipping his character with adults also played by adults.

THE GIFTED: L-R: Grace Byers, Emma Dumont and guest star Anjelica Bette Fellini in the âno Mercyâ episode of THE GIFTED airing Tuesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2018 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Annette BrownFOX.
With each passing week, this world becomes a more dangerous place for mutants. Whether the dangers they bring about to themselves or the dangers of the human world, you know that things can only get worse before they get any better. In the case of a few mutants this week, that is what we are really looking forward to see put to the test. Control is power which some have, and some donât.
The build-up to the Inner Circleâs big mission was excellent considering the wheels that still had to turn in order to make sure that tis could be a success. As I pointed out last week, it was good to see Reeva again. As the person calling the shots, it was odd when we were only hearing her orders rather than seeing her give the orders herself. There was always a chill when she was in person and simply not the person to challenge. Fortunately this weekâs episode wasted little time addressing just what was keeping her away from the others. To see that she had her own job to accomplish made a big difference. Her job wasnât easy either. It was just the right kind of obstacles she had to deal with that allowed us to learn just a bit more about her in the process. The mission itself was so fun because every opportunity was taken to show why this group of mutants were not the ones to be trifled with. There was proper use of their powers, the quality of effects for her powers, and let me not start with the slick black attire for them. It was awesome to see what a well-organized team looks like in action. With that said, what really blew my mind was the very thing you didnât see coming despite everything going right. That action right there might change things, but we wonât know till next week. I like that nothing is ever truly as it seems till the very end.
Personally I felt some sort of way when I heard them using Grandson âStick Upâ for the big mission. Great song to have playing in the background, and impressed that they would use someone who isnât so mainstream.
For the Mutant Underground, it was a big risk that they were trying to move Reed with his powers unstable. While I have some problems with this development for Reed, it was hard to argue with the fact that this forced him to face the fact that his powers are not the kind that you can ignore or take pills to contain. My only issue is that right now the Strucker story is pulling is in a different direction from everything else going on. The writing for the family isnât bad, but you can see where it clashes.
THE GIFTED: L-R: Sean Teale and Blair Redford in the âno Mercyâ episode of THE GIFTED airing Tuesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2018 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Jace DownsFOX.
Other developments were worth taking notice of as well. For as much good as the Mutant Underground has done, they have lost just as much in the process. There needed to be a time where they could take a step back to evaluate the direction they are taking when the Inner Circle is consistently pushing forward without many setbacks. Even the small argument between Eclipse and Blink was inevitable knowing that they both sit on two different perspectives on what the Morlocks represent. I mean, even the Morlocks are doing better despite living in the sewers. My only hope moving forward is that less time is put into everyone walking circles around each other. What came from the questioning and arguments was exactly what we needed for the group to start asking the right things about their current mission statement. Thereâs no way we can even call them the Mutant Underground when there is only actually three active members.
This Purifier storyline just keeps running deeper as Jace has now properly integrated himself into this extremist world. Everything here was simply a lead-up to his introductions to Benedict Ryan. This character was clearly made a bit bigger from his comic counterpart, but all the same central to the efforts of the Purifiers. Jaceâs meeting with Benedict caught me off guard. I knew that they would be asking for more from Jace with the popularity he has garnished from the anti-mutant crowd, though what they specifically asked from him is going to be the real test of placing that the Purifiers have in this world.
It seems that at this point we are beginning to make a habit out of doing flashback sequences in each episode. Normally I might have a problem with this. Shows that depend on this format (Arrow), quickly turned me off after a while. However, I will give credit to the writers that these flashbacks have added some necessary depth to characters that might not be able to get from them presently. The character they chose now was definitely someone who could have used a few layers peeled back. It was fitting for what the Inner Circle was about to undertake.
The Gifted âno Mercyâ will fill you with feelings of sympathy, exhilaration, and might have you going WTF by the end. This was one hell of a bank heist the Inner Circle pulled off that took quite the dark turn in spite of what you could have counted as a success. That look on Reevaâs face says a lot when sheâs not the kind of mutant you so easily rattle.

The Gifted âno Mercyâ Review With each passing week, this world becomes a more dangerous place for mutants. Whether the dangers they bring about to themselves or the dangers of the human world, you know that things can only get worse before they get any better.

Tem post novo no Manguaça Nerd...confere ai: Resenha | The Gifted - 01x01 - eXposed http://bitly.com/2xPXXaF
Mas e cadĂȘ eles, vocĂȘ me pergunta?
