I think it’s kind of interesting how this flashback implies that before her scorpion was killed, Wednesday had the personality she was depicted with before the 90s.

"Sure, besides maybe having someone to share it with." She says this in the long-vowels teasing tone she usually applies to Ajax. At first I think she means herself, and I think she's right. It does feel better now that she's here, and she's the only person I've ever been able to truly say that about. I'm about to muster the courage to put the sentiment into words when she continues. "Thing may have blabbed about your date with Tyler. How did it go?" This is such a hard one-eighty that it takes me a moment to calibrate. It's certainly no longer time for a compliment. I haven't thought about Tyler all night, even when I was coordinating Xavier's arrest with his father. But Enid seems to want to discuss the date. "It was....interrupted," I say. It's the only word that feels honest. Enid's smirk widens. "Maybe it's time to finish it? I heard Tyler is working the late shift..." It would never have occurred to me to do any such thing, but then I think maybe this is what Enid wants from me. Someone to discuss boys with. Dates. All the trappings of adolescent girl friendships I've always avoided like the plague. Maybe this is what she shared with Yoko. The thing that made the other girl the more attractive option when all I could do was fixate on attack patterns and organs in jars. There's more to parse out, of course. Part of me wants to confess that I'd rather stay here...."I'll tell you all about it when I get back," I promise her, and I head out for the Weathervane.

So...

Wednesday notices that Enid is addressing her, while talking about having someone to share things with, in the same tone she uses to address Ajax-which is explicitly described earlier as flirtatious.

From earlier:

"Ajax," Enid says in that flirtatious way people sometimes do. Drawing out the last vowel.

And Wednesday, thinking Enid is talking about herself and Wednesday....agrees, and is about to reciprocate.

And then Enid reveals she was talking about Tyler and Wednesday's date-meaning she was definitely talking about having someone to share things with in a romantic context-and Wednesday reveals she hasn't even thought about Tyler all night.

And even with the knowledge that Enid was definitely talking romantically-Wednesday is disappointed to realise Enid wasn't talking about herself and Wednesday and had been about to reciprocate the sentiment to Enid.

And then Wednesday admits she doesn't even want to go and find Tyler-but she does so because she thinks that this way, she and Enid will have something to talk about, and that their bond will be less likely to end. (It's also made clear she doesn't want Enid to prefer Yoko to her.)

So Wednesday reluctantly goes out to continue the date with Tyler-with the clear implication that if Enid had been talking about herself and Wednesday, she wouldn't have done. She's only going because, in her mind, Enid just made it clear that she sees Wednesday and Tyler as a couple-and because she wants to have something to talk about with Enid in their friendship that Enid actually enjoys talking about, with her thinking that "maybe this is what Enid wants from me". Which kind of has a note of "Maybe this is only what Enid wants from me."

I was going to say it reads like that trope of the main character going on a rebound date when they've been about to confess feelings for their love interest only for a miscommunication to lead them to think the love interest doesn't reciprocate and then realised that's basically exactly what it is.

In the novelization, at least, Wednesday canonically believes Enid is talking in a flirtatious, romantic context to her and is about to reciprocate.

This, my friends, is how false allegations can ruin someone's career.

I won't watch season 2. Call me petty all you want but this decision is wrong in so many ways.

I love the cast, but I have to admit that Percy is one of the main reasons that got me hooked on the show since Xavier was my favorite character and I don't think any other actor could play it as well as he did. I think he's handling all of this with grace and maturity by still supporting his friends and castmates. Can't wait to see some new pics of him hanging out with Jenna and Georgie when the time will be right.

But him leaving is obviously a consequence of this whole circus and I don't want to condone what happened to that man. So sorry Netflix but that's a nope for me.

HOWEVER

Wenvier will not die on me, guys.

Actually, in honor of them and Percy, I will definitely finish and post all my Wenvier fanfictions, starting with the ones I promised in my last poll. (The big winner was Jealous Xavier so get ready for that one first!)

My original theory for S2 and the Stalker has completely been obliterated, and honestly from all the new big names attached to it, and the smaller names, it’s a lot to fit in only 8 episodes.

The cast is very crowded for an 8-episode season. With limited time and “space” in the story, I feel like with Wednesday the only common thread and obviously will be in every episode, and Ortega herself saying each episode will feel like its own movie, I feel like most of the actors will actually only get one episode.

There’s also some indication that some of the students have already wrapped up their filming (specifically Joy Sunday via IG posts who is a top billed star), which is very short to me if true and insinuates to me that only one or two episode will be at the school. Which also supports the other rumours that the Addams estate will be heavily featured.

I would like it if some of the students got a significant B plot to explore their characters more throughout the season, but I don’t have confidence in the writers to explore anyone but Wednesday. So far, every other character is just a prop for her.

My new theory is that the season will start at the Addams estate. Maybe a funeral to intro many new Addamses. Then each subsequent episode will have her deal with different Addamses and the family lore.

She’s also supposed to be on a break, so starting at the Addams estate makes sense to me.

In no particular order, but what I think will be included in episodes:

1: We see Wednesday’s home life and more interaction and possible backstory to her friction with Morticia. This will include Morticia, Gomez, Pugsly, and Grandmama. I don’t think Pubert exists in this universe.

2: Uncle Fester centered episode which will also serve as a backdoor pilot to his spinoff.

3-6: She visits with various Addamses, really expanding the Wednesday universe, each with their own issues she has to figure out. So, each episode is more or less a procedural, horror mystery/ “Outcast of the week” This will include Noah Taylor, Billie Piper, Christopher Lloyd, Francis O’Connor, Haley Joel Osmet, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo.

Besides just having something to do over break, perhaps Wednesday visits family to test the stalker’s reach, who is still sending her proof of being stalked. When back at Nevermore, she finally figures out who the stalker is because she has eliminated who it couldn’t be based on how they’re able to stalk her from family member to family member and then back to Nevermore.

7-8: Break is over and they’re back at Nevermore. Enid will heavily be featured to talk about her status as a transformed wolf within her pack. Maybe talk about some issues with Ajax because he’s not a werewolf and now she has more options within the Werewolf community. We’ll also see what happened to Tyler and Sheriff Galpin. And it’ll introduce the new faculty at Nevermore.

Maybe Tyler confronts his dad about what he knew about his wife being a Hyde, if anything, and what it means to have a half-outcast child. Galpin will talk his son into accepting his responsibility in what happened, and Tyler voluntarily turns himself in and Thandiwe Newton is his new therapist, perhaps at the same insane asylum his mother.

Wednesday visits him before he’s on a long absence to get his powers and mental health in order. They make peace.

New students Evie Templeton and Owen Painter will feature. I wonder if Owen will be Enid’s triangle love interest, as he has dark, pale features like Ajax. Perhaps she has a type. lol

Xavier, Divina, Kent, and Yoko’s absence will be explained that their families feel that Nevermore has gone downhill and they are pulled from the school to attend an alternative Outcast school.

Steve Buscemi as the new Headmaster will do something to spring into the 3rd season and we’re left with a question about something. lol

Revenge Tickle Torture (Wednesday Fanfiction)

A story about Wednesday and her friends getting revenge on they’re boyfriends for tickling them the other night and Thing has a plan, enjoy 😉

“Wednesday and her friends were gathered that night in the nightshade library thinking of a plan to get back at the boys for tickling them last weekend and they needed Thing’s help. “Thing do you have the rope and cuffs?” Wednesday asked he gave her a thumbs up telling her that he was prepared, “Good now Enid, Yoko and Bianca get the sleep potion” Wednesday ordered “On it Wednesday!” Enid said then the girls ran upstairs to gather the supplies. “Eleven, you’re coming with me and Thing to Crackstone’s Crypt to assist me in capturing the boys come on let’s go” Alrighty! Eleven agreed then they took a boat as they rowed all the way there.”

“Once they arrived Wednesday got her phone calling Enid to help the girls finish the plan, “I need you guys to knock on Xavier’s door and leave the letter that Thing wrote and make sure he gets it and that you don’t get caught, is that clear?” Yes Wednesday “Good, now hurry” then she hung up. Enid knocked on the door “Come on you guys” she whispered as the girls ran and hurried downstairs before they got caught. Xavier opened the door picking up the note and reading it.”

“Come down to the nightshade library and bring Kent, Rowan, Tyler, and Ajax as well.”

“Once the boys made it there they looked down on the floor seeing what they thought were drinks. “What is this dude?” Ajax said “Looks like the girls left us some refreshing drinks come on you guys let’s go ahead and drink them” You guys I’m feeling sleepy Tyler said “Me too” Rowan said. Once the boys drank the potion they fell to the ground knocked out and fast asleep. Enid, Bianca and Yoko carried the boys upstairs and onto the boat and they were on their way to Crackstone’s Crypt to get back at them.”

“Once everyone made it there Wednesday and her friends started cuffing the boys to the wall of the crypt then tied them up in the rope. “Wake up boys” Bianca said then snapped her fingers waking them up. “Huh? Where are we?” Ajax asked, “Don’t play dumb you know where we are, at Crackstone’s Crypt and we are here to get revenge on you guys for tickling us last weekend” Wednesday explained smiling deviously. “What are you talking about?” Xavier asked “Oh please don’t act like you don’t know what’s up Xavier because you very well do know” Enid said. “Wow babe you’re looking really beautiful and hot in that red dress sweetheart I’m so sorry honey” Rowan told his girlfriend Eleven “Flattery will get you nowhere baby and it certainly won’t get you out of trouble and it’s certainly too late for apologies” Eleven told him then leaned in sitting in his lap to kiss him. “You girls are looking fine tonight in those dresses” Tyler said “Yeah I agree” Ajax said.”

“Now is not the time for flirting it’s revenge time” Wednesday said then she went for Xavier Thing assisted her by pulling his shirt up then Wednesday started tickling his ribs “No! Stop it baby! I swear I’m sorry I won’t tickle you anymore” Xavier said dying of laughter. “Let me kiss that cute bellybutton honey” Eleven said pulling up Rowan’s shirt then tickled his bellybutton then blew a raspberry on it “stop it darling! that tickles” Rowan said then she removed his socks and shoes then tickled his feet “stop it! stop it! honey! You’re killing me!” Rowan said breaking out in laughter. Eleven then pulled Rowan’s shirt up using her telekinesis then violently started tickling his stomach “No El stop!” He said laughing.”

“Honey, I always thought your blue siren eyes were so beautiful” Kent I’m afraid flirting won’t get you out of this one Bianca said smiling then started tickling his neck “Stop it baby!” He said laughing “Nope” Bianca said giggling and continued tickling him. She then tickled his hips and he was laughing hard. “Yoko? You know I’m sorry, how about we get revenge on each other another way how about you suck the blood out of my neck yeah?” Sorry Tyler you know I would but I’m afraid I can’t do that this time Yoko told him then started lightly tickling his chest with her sharp fingernails. “Stop it sweetheart!” Tyler said laughing. “Since you asked then sure I will suck the blood from you but this time it’s going to be from your chest” Yoko said pulling Tyler’s shirt up biting into it and sucking his blood” No! That tickles! Quit it! He said laughing and in tears.”

“Eleven then tickled Rowan’s foot with her long fingernails then kissed it, “Stop it baby you’re gonna make me pee my pants!” Rowan said laughing, “Me too that makes two of us! Wednesday stop!” Xavier said laughing. Both girls continued tickling they’re boyfriends and that’s when it happened they wet they’re pants as pee flowed down they’re pants. “Oh my god!” Enid said laughing. “Shut up! It’s not funny!” Xavier said blushing“No I believe it really IS funny” Enid told him. then Wednesday, Bianca, Yoko, and Eleven started laughing as well causing both boys to blush. “If it makes you feel any better I peed my pants a little too” Tyler said “So did I” Kent told everyone “Me too” Ajax said. The boys promised to stop tickling they’re girlfriends from now on and they learned they’re lesson and sometimes it can be a wet messy one.”
