The television flickered in the dim living room, the shadows shifting like otherworldly creatures. The heavy rain pounded against the windows combined with the quiet whistle of the winds. You would think that with such advanced technology nowadays the intense weather wouldn’t affect the power. Apparently, that hadn’t been a priority during this era of technological breakthroughs. But you didn’t mind. The flickering screen and hissing static were comforting, reminding you of the days Hank still had his old-fashioned television.
In the peaceful hours of the early morning (or late night depending on who you asked), you sat huddled on the couch with your eyes glued to the television. Wearing one of Hank’s old sweatshirts that was far too long for you, you hugged your knees tightly.
You watched the screen as a little girl sat bashfully at the head of a long dining table, kicking her feet giddily as a birthday cake with six blazing candles was placed in front of her. She was surrounded by loved ones who looked at her fondly, singing in unison with enthusiastic, booming voices. One voice– the cameraman's– overpowered them all, his voice uncharacteristically jaunty and cheerful. As the singing reached its end and the little girl blew out her candles with a big breath (and a lot of spit), the cameraman squished himself into the frame with a wide grin.
And there was Hank Anderson. A younger, much happier Hank, but Hank nonetheless. He grinned at the camera, calling the little girl’s attention. They both smiled brightly into the camera, ignoring that it was a video and not a picture. Hank and his goddaughter. Hank and you.
You were honestly surprised when you found the box of old VHS tapes. Yes, VHS tapes. No, you weren’t that old, far from it actually. Hank was just always old-fashioned; he never had a knack for technology. So any videos from your childhood were found on VHS tapes that Hank had kept for all these years.
You found them when you were organizing his garage. The entire day, you had been cleaning around his house with Connor’s help because his drunk ass could never do it. You hoped that maybe by giving him a clean environment he might be able to clean up his act. You weren’t too sure about that, but the thought was there.
When you found the tapes, it was already well into the night. Hank had passed out hours ago, and you released Connor to recharge not long ago. That’s when you decided you were deserving of a much-needed break, dragging the hefty box of VHS tapes into the living room for your viewing pleasure.
Only you hadn’t realized the experience would be the exact opposite of pleasurable. The more videos you watched, the more your misery grew.
You couldn’t exactly explain why you were so upset. All you knew was that your chest was heavy with dread, your eyes forlorn as you watched video after video.
You were so distracted by the video of your sixth birthday (Hank was now interrogating you about the differences between being five and six, ever the detective) that you hadn’t heard Connor’s light footfalls. Though you probably wouldn’t have heard them anyway. Androids were scarily sneaky like that. You didn’t realize Connor was even in the room until he was standing right beside you, his figure nothing but a shadow in your peripheral vision. You had almost forgotten he was here, simply resting (or whatever it was androids did) in Hank’s spare room.
Your attention snapped to him, fumbling for the remote to pause the video. With only the light of the television to guide you, you struggled to find the pause button. By the time you finally found it, your cheeks were unbearably warm with embarrassment.
Watching videos of your childhood self to remember the good times with Hank before he practically cut you off completely, dried tear stains on your cheeks and fresh tears welling in your eyes? Pathetic.
With your face buried in the baggy sleeves of Hank’s sweatshirt, you tried to casually wipe away your tears, but you knew it was too late. Connor had already seen them. And even if he hadn’t seen them, you were sure he could guess by the shaky tone of your voice.
“Hi, Connor,” you greeted weakly.
Connor was silent for a moment as his eyes trailed over your figure, surely analyzing you. His LED circled yellow for a long time. Even when he sat down beside you, it continued to show yellow.
“Are you alright?” Connor asked softly, reaching a hand forward to rest on your knee and giving it a loving squeeze.
You were so surprised that he didn’t offer some kind of thorough analysis of your current mental state that a guttural laugh escaped your lips. The sound confused even Connor, his eyebrows furrowing at your impromptu reaction. You covered your mouth sheepishly, flashing Connor a look that said “I’m-sorry-I-don’t-know-what-that-was-either-kindly-ignore-that.”
Connor was silent again as he considered what to say. His eyes flitted to the television screen that had paused on a frame of you shoving your face into the camera with a toothy smile. You were missing two of your bottom teeth.
“Is that you?” Connor inquired. He was only being polite. You both knew that with a simple facial scan he had already determined that it was, in fact, you.
“Yeah,” you answered lamely. “My sixth birthday.”
Connor’s hand that was resting on your knee moved to your hand, slowly pulling the remote out of your grip. He unpaused the video and sat stiffly, his eyes darting from you to the screen like he didn’t know which to watch. The television showed you as you flaunted your missing teeth before pulling back to answer another one of Hank’s questions.
“Alright, last question, kiddo,” Hank said off-screen, his tone teasingly serious. “We gotta hear the final verdict… d’you like being six?”
Your little self squinted her eyes in consideration, lips pursed into an extreme pout. For added effect, you put a finger to your chin and tapped it thoughtfully.
“Hmm…,” you thought loudly. “No!”
“No?” Hank repeated with a hearty laugh. “Why not?”
“I don’t wanna get old,” you admitted innocently as if it was the easiest answer in the world. “Getting old means I’ll die.”
You snatched the remote from Connor’s hand and hurriedly paused the video again. All of a sudden, your breaths were coming out in sharp pants as your body was filled to the brim with an inexplicable panic. You needed a distraction, you didn’t want to think about any of this.
Connor was calling your name calmly, his voice a steady, grounding force. Your wide eyes snapped to meet his, hands moving to clutch both of his. As you latched onto his warm gaze, you felt an odd imbalance. You couldn’t tell if you were comforted or stressed by his presence.
“How can I help you?” Connor murmured, allowing you to grip his hands as tightly as possible.
“I don’t know… I don’t know,” you stammered. “I’m scared, Connor.”
“What are you scared of?”
“I don’t know.”
“Okay… okay,” Connor whispered soothingly.
Freeing one of his hands from your grasp, Connor’s hand snaked to the back of your head and pulled you forward until your forehead was resting against his lips. He pressed light kisses against your skin, murmuring comforting words as tears started to silently spill from the corners of your eyes. You collapsed forward until your face was buried in the crook of Connor’s neck. His lips moved to your head, kissing along the top of your head.
Why were you crying? Why were you crying? Why were you crying?
You didn’t understand why you were so overwhelmed, you just knew that you were. You had felt it so suddenly that there hadn’t been time to ask why.
“Are you scared of… losing Hank?” Connor questioned.
No, that wasn’t it. Well, yes, you were. But that wasn’t the cause of your unexpected anxiousness.
“Are you scared of… dying?”
Yes. Yes, that was it. That was it. Sort of, at least.
Too broken to speak, you simply nodded against Connor’s body.
“Can you tell me what scares you about it?”
Could you? You thought about it, blinking furiously to slow the tears. Why were you scared? Sure, death was scary in general, but there was something else. There had to be something else because your heart was still pounding furiously.
“I… don’t know,” you croaked.
“Okay,” Connor said patiently. “That’s alright. You don’t need to know.”
With his hands still on you, Connor carefully pulled away from you to meet your gaze. The corners of his lips were raised in a loving smile as he studied you, his thumb absentmindedly running along your knuckles.
“I want you to know that you’re safe with me,” he continued.
You matched Connor’s smile hesitantly, feeling your heartbeat slow to a resting state. Your attention was drawn to Connor’s spiraling LED as it returned to its usual blue.
That was it.
Your smile vanished quicker than it appeared. Your eyes were now fixated on the LED at Connor’s temple, a constant reminder that he was an android. And you were only human.
“I’m going to lose you,” you whispered hoarsely.
A puzzled look crossed Connor’s features, the crease between his brows returning. His LED blinked yellow again as he realized you were still in distress.
“You won’t lose me,” Connor promised, giving your hand a reassuring squeeze. “You can’t lose me.”
“That’s the problem, Connor,” you sniffled. “Someday, I’ll die. And you’ll keep living.”
The tension in Connor’s face eased as he realized the root of your sadness, though he didn’t look at ease himself. His LED quickly turned to a solid red. He looked so… sad. As if it hadn’t occurred to him until now the inevitable future of the two of you.
The look on his face made you want to apologize profusely. You were sorry for ever putting that thought in his head. But you didn’t have the words to speak. You were frozen, just as he was.
Connor broke your suspended state by inhaling slowly, nodding his head as he thought to himself. You noticed that his grip on your hand was tighter as if he was afraid to let go. His other hand had moved to rest on your upper arm, rubbing it soothingly. It seemed to be a calming gesture for both you and him.
“Maybe that is how it will be,” Connor muttered, his eyes finding yours again. “Or maybe there’s another way we don’t know of. But that… that’s far in the future. That’s not something we need to concern ourselves with right now. Right now… is right now.”
Your tears had stopped falling long ago once there were no more left to cry. You resorted to chewing your lip worriedly, ignoring the bead of blood that infested your tastebuds. Connor’s hand moved to caress your jaw, running a thumb across your lips to stop you from hurting yourself.
“Right now… I’m holding you. On this couch. Because I care about you,” Connor continued, though his voice was still slightly frazzled. “And that’s all we need to worry about.”
Either way, his words did do something to calm you. You nodded along as he spoke, leaning into the warmth of his smooth palm. Your fear wasn’t gone, not completely anyway. But it was certainly less than it was before.
You moved quickly into Connor’s arms, pushing him back so that he was lying on the couch. Your head curled against his chest, holding the front of his shirt tightly. You never wanted him to leave. His arms naturally fell around you and lightly rubbed your back.
It wasn’t necessary for Connor to breathe, but you could feel the steady rise and fall of his chest. You knew he was doing it for your sake. You followed the pattern of his breathing until you finally felt a sense of peace for the first time that night.
“Will you keep holding me like this?” you mumbled.
“I’ll hold you like this, right now and forever.”

ANDROID! ALEXA-THEMED! WORSHIPPER YANDERE! LEVI x SHUT IN! READER
cws : yandere themes, manipulation (??), obsessive behavior, code breaking, implied dissociation, confining, dubcon, multiple creampie, slight dacryphilia, dry humping, levi can vibrate, marking, levi cums A LOT, levi bites you, levi’s a little mean in the beginning bc he’s pissed.
a/n : i pasted this to the wrong thing and after i’d finished editing it to look good, id realized. i did NOT wanna re-paste and edit so this was a request that id gotten for PulseMotion Inc.
“[name], come out. i won’t hurt you.” your hand shakily reaches up to cover your mouth, effectively silencing your breathing as thudding footsteps turn down the hallway you’d foolishly decided to hide in. the lock on the closet door wouldn’t do much — levi could rip the door off its hinges if he so desired. you screw your eyes shut in fear as his footsteps slow, coming to a stop outside the closet door. you wait with bated breath as silence ensues, then muffle a sob beneath the palm you have clasped over your mouth as you watch the doorknob jiggle. oh, you were so fucked.
you wonder for a moment where everything went wrong. was it when levi had that software update? was there a wire firing incorrectly? or was he faulty from the beginning? maybe that’s why he was on clearance.
you find yourself remembering where this all began. you’d been perusing through the pages of PulseMotion’s website just to see what they had, only to find that you could buy a month’s worth of food at the base price they sold their android companions for. unsatisfied, you turned to their clearance section. it was there you found levi.
levi was inspired by the alexa echo dot from amazon, but he was far more advanced. he had a physical body, superhuman strength, and cold, dead eyes that followed your every move. the creators had given him the ability to access locks, security systems, cameras, and so on to ensure the safety of whoever purchased him — but it only served to royally fuck you over even more.
you’d impulsively purchased levi that evening. at the time, you didn't know that buying the android would ruin your life. you had just gotten paid and saw that he was on clearance, and thought that it was a good deal. you didn't think anything would go wrong.
everything was fine in the beginning. the two of you slowly became acquainted, the android did what he was supposed to, and that was that. levi, as he'd told you, was on clearance for a reason-- there was something seriously wrong with him.
levi was was initially very sweet, even if he could be intimidating at times. he always reminded you to eat and would charge your devices without you needing to say a word. he even locked your doors for you for christ's sake! you thought you'd lucked out.
you suppose things started going wrong when he powered off for his quarterly system update a few months ago. he was fine before that. after he'd restarted his system, his eyes briefly flashed red, the company insignia disappearing for but a moment. it happened so quickly that, for a second, you thought you had imagined it. you made sure to ask him if everything was okay, but he only brushed it off and returned to his daily cleaning. after that, he never left your side.
every time you tried to get out of your shell and make friends, levi coincidentally informed you of a new game or a new movie, or even suggested that the two of you do an activity together. sometimes, he would inform you of something that needed to be fixed, but when you tried to take him to the repair shop, he insisted that it was easy enough to do yourself. you believed him of course, he surely had only your best interests in mind, or so you thought. in hindsight, you realize that his actions were entirely selfish in nature. maybe he’d even fooled you into helping him with some coding he had trouble bypassing. at this point, you wouldn’t put it past him.
it had been like this for the last few months. you probably should have seen the red flags, but why would you? it wasn’t as if he wanted to harm you. his programming did seem a little odd of course, but every time you checked, there was nothing to suggest otherwise. it was only natural you had to acclimate to his odd behavior.
as time went on, and levi had become more crafty with his excuses, you’d gotten fed up. for the first time in awhile, you’d finally been comfortable enough to go out on a date, but as per usual, levi intercepted you in the living room. he spouted some nonsense about wanting to watch a new series he thought you would like, but before he’d even finished his sentence, you shut him down.
you remember the way the insignia flickered in his eyes, but at that point you were too frustrated with him to bother with what that minute entail. you only spun on your heels and stormed off, tugging on the front door and finding that it was locked. anxiety and unease washed over you, and with a creeping feeling of being watched as you slowly looked up at the camera. you remember levi’s voice ringing out from behind you, slowly stalking up to you with a frown that tugged too tightly around his artificial skin.
everything that happened after that was a blur. you don’t really remember how you ended up in the closet, but it took everything in you to stay quiet. your mind was reeling as the behavior displayed over the last few months suddenly made sense — you were horrified. how did you not put two and two together?
you’re snapped back into reality as levi sighs outside of the closet door. his voice sounded too sweet, too calm for the situation at hand. “[name], don’t make me break down this door.”
you silently pray to every being you can think of, begging them to let him move to a different room so you can plan your escape. alas, your prayers were unanswered as the door is ripped off the hinges in the blink of an eye. you would’ve found the sight comical — a short man such as himself holding up a door nearly twice his size — if it weren’t for the reality of your situation.
“great, now i’ll have to clean this up and fix it. you’re really a pain in my ass sometimes.” levi grumbles as he gazes down at you through narrowed eyes, drinking in the sight of the way you were shaking like a leaf. “get up.”
you can’t bring yourself to move, much less tell him to go fuck himself. you’re torn between anger and unadulterated fear — the latter putting you in fight or flight. unfortunately for you, your response was a secret third option: freeze. levi only huffs, leaning down and reaching for your wrist, grumbling something under his breath.
you’re finally able to move, shuffling away from him as much as the cramped space in the closet would allow, blindly pushing at his hands as tears blur your vision. levi only
clicks his tongue, his fingers deftly wrapping around your wrist as he hoists you up. he tugs you out of the closet and down the hallway, bitching to you about something you couldn’t be bothered to focus on. you tried to pry his fingers from around your wrist, scratching and beating and doing anything within your power to keep him from dragging you wherever it was he wanted you. it was futile.
as levi drags you to your room, gently pushing you onto your bed, you realize that there was nothing you could do; you couldn’t win against him. your mind works on overdrive, twisting and turning in an attempt to gauge his intent, and with the way his eyes had become hooded… you could confidently say that you wouldn’t like where this was headed.
“h—hey. no. i’ll stay— i’ll stay home, just please don’t—“ you’re interrupted by levi’s chilled fingers wrapping around your wrists as he leans down and slots his lips to yours. scrunching your nose in distaste as he feverishly engages in a one-sided makeout, you attempt to wriggle your way out of his grip. it’s safe to say that you failed, but at least you tried.
levi’s free hand travels down your chest, over your tummy, and finds purchase on the meat of your hip. he gently, experimentally rolls his hips into yours, searching for the place that would have you melting into his touch. with ease, the android’s cockhead brushes over your clit, shooting a wave of pleasure down your spine.
“levi…stop—“ a whine parts your lips as levi’s shaft begins vibrating, the sensation muddling your thoughts as you begin to wonder whether you wanted this or not. as you battle yourself internally, levi ruts against you faster, the both of you coming closer and closer to your climax.
the android’s lip brush against your throat, heatedly nipping and sucking in places for long enough that you were sure there would be marks tomorrow.
“‘m gonna cum— baby, cum with me. please, please, please cum with me!” levi begs, the speed at which his shaft was vibrating increasing. your back arches into the sensation as levi lets out a loud whine, your jaw agape as your orgasm crashes over you. you stumble over curses, your eyes rolling into the back of your head as levi’s cock never once stops vibrating.
“gonna overstimulate me— s’too much!” you protest, feeling levi’s cum wet your pants. just how much does this guy cum anyway?
levi stops rutting against you, all but ripping away the confines of your clothing as well as his own before aligning himself with your entrance. “need it. need it so bad— i’ve been waiting for so long…”
he slowly slides into you, your gummy walls eagerly sucking him in despite your own confusion, forcing a choked whimper from levi’s lips. he shallowly thrusts into you, the sensation of overwhelmingly delicious; you’d never felt so full, so good. levi’s shaft pulsed this time, vibrating for a few moments on and off, his tip reaching places you’d never be able to reach with your own two hands.
you melt into the feeling, your own pleasure drowning out every thought of protest as levi begins to pick up the pace. he removes his fingers from your wrists, the flesh red and angry, and presses down on your tummy where his cock would be. the vibration switches again, his hips snapping into yours now, and he lets out a loud groan as his orgasm washes over him. levi never once stops as he pumps you full of his cum, his fingers digging into your hips as he whimpers out mumbled gibberish.
with ease, levi switches your position, putting you on your knees and pushes back inside of you. he forces you to meet his thrusts, and the new angle has your fingers gripping the sheets, your jaw hanging open in silent pleasure. you can’t think about anything — only how good levi was able to make you feel.
“levi— ‘m cumming!” you cry out, your thighs shaking and cunt clenching around him. tears prick your eyes and spill down your cheeks, the feeling too much for you to handle.
“y’look so pretty when you cry.” levi chokes out, his eyes closing in bliss as his cock twitches inside of you. your cunt pulses around levi, sending shivers down his spine as his motherboard goes into overdrive in an attempt to cool him down. rutting into you at an inhuman pace, levi’s thrusting grows sloppy, reaching one hand around to press a finger to your clit, the artificial skin vibrating as well.
“cum f’me… j—just one more time! please— please, need it so bad..!” levi whines, expertly circling your clit in an attempt to have you cum with him. “y—you’ll tell me when y’close, okay? wanna cum with you.”
all you can do is nod, your mind melting at every sensation. levi presses your back against his sculpted chest, linking his arm under one of your thighs and hoists it up, thrusting more harshly as his tongue darts out to lap at the tears staining your cheeks.
“y’feel so fuckin’ good.” he whimpers, pressing chaste kisses to the flushed skin of your shoulders. “‘m gonna cum. baby, ‘m gonna cum—“
before you’re able to register it, your vision flashes white, a high-pitched whine parting your lips as ecstasy crashes over you.
“cumming! ‘m cumming!!” levi babbles, whimpers and whines of his own being muffled by your skin as he bites down on the curve of your shoulder in an attempt to silence himself. cum trickles down your thighs and stains the sheets as his thrusting comes to a stop, a quiet sniffle resounding from behind you.
the android gently lays you down, your eyes growing heavy as the bliss slowly leaves your system, and you can’t find it in you to care about the date you wanted to go on anymore. your lashes flutter shut as levi leaves the room and quietly returns with a damp cloth, tenderly cleaning you up as you drift off to sleep.

It’s 🎀 again, all ur ideas are so good and I wanted to stop and ask for the robot Ivan au, pre Ivan kicking the bucket what is their daily life like? And also how forward is Ivan before he passes? Like can till tell his robot is a little too attached or is Ivan more subtle about it (also does he have any robot programming preventing him from doing things?
hi 🎀!!
ivan tries to follow protocol so he won't be sent back for any issues, but as time goes on he's able to show more of himself.
for example, till often shuts himself in the studio, creating music or art, and ivan will make sure he's eaten and drank enough water. ivan begins to openly show more emotion and affection when he realizes till will brush it off as weird android shit.
as till grows more popular, he spends less time at home, so ivan begins to make bento boxes for till. his sentiency adds a home-made flavor to it not a lot of other androids can, so when he eats it, till feels slightly homesick.
ivan takes up sewing (hand-sewing specifically) when till signs up for a music festival a few months in advanced and his closet is hideous. till sees new clothing in his closet, higher quality than he ever had, and shrugged it off thinking ivan had bought it online. soon, his entire closet (and more) is sewn by ivan.
there are cameras around and in the house, however till doesn't really watch them. its just a preventative measure. that is, until ivan dies. he has recordings of his home ever since he first got ivan and obsessively watched as ivan milled about. its there he discovers how ivan had sewn his clothes, and suddenly till couldn't bare to lose a single thread of clothing.
its also when he discovers that ivan had composed music of his own—on the days he left the house, ivan would go to his studio and compose music using till as a reference. till opens the file, qnd plays the music. he hears ivan's voice, and he promptly breaks down.

STAY READY (WHAT A LIFE)
"Here in this dimension, you and I are meant to be..."
Summary: In the year of 2075, in a futuristic world where soulmates are determined by their markings, you serve as a police officer in a high-tech city. However, there's more to your identity than meets the eye, and your superior, Hannah, has secrets to reveal.
Warnings: death, bit of angst, philosophy, rushed ending
A/N: had mixed emotions abt posting this, might delete bc idk how to feel, hope u guys enjoy
also wanted to post this bc i’ll be going in a little “writing vacay” basically not gonna be posting anything until i finish majority of my fics
In the year 2075, technology has advanced to unimaginable heights. Everything was futuristic, from self-driving cars and flying drones to holographic displays and virtual reality. There were some parts that still remained untouched by technology: the lower-class side of the city.
The side you passed to get home from work, was a stark contrast to the high-tech world that existed just a few blocks away. Brick buildings a few years away from crumbling away, littered streets, and dimly lit alleyways were the norm in the forgotten part of town.
The lower-class side of the city seemed frozen in time, trapped in an era that had long been left behind.
You felt similar, feeling as if you were frozen in time. Or even as if time had been in a loop, every day is the same, repeating the same routine over and over again. You had joined the police force when you turned 19.
You can't remember anything before that; it felt as if your childhood life was a blur. You had always wondered about your past, but there were no answers to be found.
There were barely any crimes due to the fact that cameras were everywhere, along with drones that could identify you in less than a second. The constant surveillance made it nearly impossible for anyone to get away with anything.
You still found a way to rank up, taking on additional responsibilities and becoming a respected member of the force. Your dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed, and you were eventually promoted to a leadership position within the police force.
"Y/LN." You raise your eyebrow, twisting your chair around toward the familiar voice. Standing in the doorway is your higher-up, Hannah, the Chief of Police. She has a stern expression on her face, waiting for you to address her.
You quickly stand up, walking over to her to see what the matter is. Hannah always had a stern expression on her face, even when she was in a good mood.
But this time, it felt different.
Hannah motions for you to follow her, leading you down the hallway towards the conference room. You follow behind Hannah with ease, dodging and weaving between the mix of androids and human officers bustling about the police station.
Entering the conference room, Hannah slaps the folder against the desk, causing a loud thud that echoes in the room. Her eyes bore into yours as she starts explaining the details of a confidential mission having to deal with the president and his late daughter.
"The sons of bitches actually made the serum..." Hannah mutters, taking a photo out of the folder and sliding it across the table towards you. The photo reveals a vial filled with a glowing blue liquid, labeled "Project Seraphim."
Project Seraphim, a top-secret government initiative, was aimed at resurrecting the president's daughter, who had tragically passed away. Ashely Redfield, the president's daughter and a young girl who never got to experience the fullness of life, was the inspiration behind Project Seraphim. The serum was meant to bring her back to life, offering a glimmer of hope to her grieving father.
"...years ago." Hannah finishes, clenching her jaw. "Dr. Murphy finished Project Seraphim and never informed anyone about its success. He kept it hidden, for what reason? I don't know. All I know is that you need to find him and get the serum. This came directly from the president, and you're the only one I trust to carry out this mission."
You eye the file on the desk, which contains all the information about Project Seraphim and Dr. Murphy's whereabouts. With a nod of your head, you agree, "Understood."
-
It was nighttime when you left the station, rain falling from the dark sky, the only thing lighting up the city being the neon signs and holograms flickering in the distance.
For the first time in years, you felt...overwhelmed. The weight of the mission and the responsibility entrusted to you by the president seemed to bear down on your shoulders. You continued to stroll through the rain-soaked streets, rolling up your sleeve slightly, revealing the mark on your forearm.
The mark was a symbol to show you had a soulmate out there. Your soulmate was supposed to have the same marking as your own, connecting the two of you in a deep and unbreakable bond.
It had always been a source of comfort and hope, knowing that somewhere in this vast city, your soulmate was waiting for you.
You run your hand over your marking, feeling the raised texture and tracing the intricate design. The feeling was soothing, even more so than the raindrops cascading down your skin, which seemed to echo the rhythm of your heartbeat, as if nature itself were in tune with the anticipation in your chest.
With a deep and long sigh, you cover up your marking, carrying on with your walk home.
Your routine has been broken. A figure stood at the edge of the bridge, which separated the two halves of your town. The figure's silhouette was illuminated by the dim streetlights, casting a shadow on the bridge's worn-out wooden planks.
You furrowed your eyebrows, breaking the cycle, and walking toward the figure, who seemed to not care about the rain that fell on them. Only a few feet away, you stood beside the now-revealed woman, who stared ahead, watching the small ripples forming in the river below.
She was gorgeous; more than gorgeous, she was enchanting, captivating even in the gloomy night. Her eyes held a hint of sadness, reflecting the weight of her thoughts. You couldn't help but be drawn to her mysterious aura, wondering what had brought her to this desolate bridge on such a rainy night.
Her lips began to curve in a small smile, and you had nearly missed the soft chuckle that escaped her lips. She turns to you, smiling softly, her eyes pouring into yours—eye contact that felt both intimate and unsettling. It was as if she could see right through you, unraveling the depths of your soul with just a glance.
You found yourself captivated by her gaze, unable to break free from the magnetic pull of her eyes. Then you heard her for the first time, your heartbeat racing more than it ever has before. Was this healthy?
"The rain can be quite therapeutic, wouldn't you agree?" Her voice was like a gentle melody, soothing yet mysterious. You feel the raindrops on your skin, cooling and cleansing, as if washing away the weight of the world. It's as if her words have a magical power, bringing a sense of calm and clarity to your troubled mind.
"Yes, it is," you reply, your voice barely above a whisper, unable to tear your eyes away from her. The way she spoke and the way she looked at you made you feel like she could understand every hidden part of your being. She gives you another smile before turning her attention back to the river. "I'm Jenna if you were wondering."
"Y/N."
"I like watching the rain hit the water—seeing the ripples in the water as each raindrop creates its own unique pattern." Your eyes don't drift away from the woman, watching her side profile as she gazes out at the rain-soaked scenery.
"Even watching the raindrops that hit the dock is mesmerizing," she adds. "There are more than 200,000 raindrops that fall a minute, yet each one has its own individual impact on the world around us. People take rain for granted, complaining about how it ruins their plans or makes them wet, but they fail to appreciate the beauty and significance of each raindrop."
She continues, "Rain is essential for life, nourishing plants and hell even replenishing our water sources. It's a reminder of nature's power and the interconnectedness of all living things."
She turns back toward you, her eyes flickering with a sense of wonder. "Don't you kind of think we're like raindrops? Each of us may seem small and insignificant on our own, but together we have the power to create a ripple effect and make a difference in the world." She smiles as you stare at her, confused and intrigued by her analogy.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to get too philosophical there. It's just something I've been thinking about lately. But hey, maybe it's something worth pondering, right?" She chuckles, breaking the momentary silence between you two.
You break into a smile. "No, don't apologize. I actually love that analogy. It's a beautiful way to look at things." Jenna's smile increases, her eyes lighting up with appreciation. "I'm glad you think so," she replies.
"Sometimes, it's easy to feel like our actions don't matter in the grand scheme of things. But if we can believe that even the smallest acts of kindness or positive change can create a ripple effect, then maybe we can find the motivation to keep making a difference. Like you taking the time out of your night to listen to me," she whispers the last part, breaking the eye contact she's been holding and looking down at her hands.
You open your mouth to speak, but you're cut off by the angelic voice. "Thank you; it was really nice talking to you, but I have to go now."
Jenna walks away in a hurry, leaving you standing on the wooden bridge alone, feeling a mixture of confusion and gratitude. You watch her disappear into the distance, wondering what impact your conversation had on her.
-
It's been days since your mission and days since your conversation with Jenna. You find yourself replaying the conversation in your mind, trying to decipher any hidden meaning behind her words. The memory of her angelic voice and the intensity of the moment still linger, leaving you with a sense of longing to know if she's okay.
A knock is heard at your door, interrupting your thoughts. John, a fellow officer in your field, hands you a file with a frown on his face. "Homicide," he says, scratching his beard. "We've got a new case, and it's a messy one. I thought you should take a look."
You quickly skim through the file while John briefs you on the details. "A young girl in her 20s was found dead three days ago, but there's no sign of a fight nor any obvious cause of death. We have her body in the laboratory for further examination, but so far, the autopsy results have been inconclusive. It's like she just... died. No witnesses, no suspects, nothing. Her names—"
Jenna?
"—Jenna." Your heart drops, flipping back and forth between shock and disbelief. Jenna. The same Jenna you met on the bridge that night, and the same Jenna that is supposedly your soulmate.
The marking on her back is the same as the marking on your arm. You feel a chill run down your spine as you realize you met your soulmate that night. Only once you find out do you realize that she is now gone forever.
What could have happened to Jenna, and why did fate bring you together only to tear you apart so suddenly?
"Y/LN? You alright?" John mutters, snapping you out of your thoughts. You eye the officer, still lost in your own world.
No, you weren't going to let the only person who brought you happiness after such a long time slip away without a fight.
Without a word, you jump up from your chair, pushing past your co-workers and rushing out of the office. You were going to use that serum on Jenna, not the president's daughter.
You burst through the doors of the laboratory, Hannah standing there with a puzzled expression on her face. "Y/LN, what's going on?" she asks, you were the last person she expected to see bursting into the lab.
Ignoring her question, you turn to a worker at the lab and urgently ask, "Where is Jenna Ortega's body? I need to see her immediately." The worker looks taken aback by your sudden request but quickly directs you to the morgue.
You remember the room number, then return back to Hannah, bumping past her and into the room she had just exited, the serum had been held here until the president was able to make his way down to your city, fortunately, he had been too busy to visit the lab earlier.
The four-digit code that you set and remember with ease is punched into the safe, unlocking with a loud beep. You grab the blue serum, turning around, only to be met with a gun pointed at your face. The person holding the gun is none other than Hannah; her expression cold and determined.
"Damnit, Y/LN. Don't make me do this," she mumbles, taking the safety off her gun. "Who told you about Jenna, huh?" You freeze, your mind racing to figure out how Hannah found out about Jenna.
"You knew? You knew Jenna was my soulmate?" Your voice trembles as you try to comprehend the situation. Hannah pauses for a moment, her grip on the gun tightening. "I've known for a while now," she admits. "There's some things you don't understand. You have an old soul, and I like that about you."
"What the fuck are you talking about?" You grit, confusion, and anger bubbling up inside you. Hannah's eyes narrow, a flicker of sadness crossing her face.
"You're not human, Y/N. You're something more, something special. You were created by SynthoTech, a company that specializes in advanced artificial intelligence and genetic engineering. They designed you to possess enhanced abilities and a unique consciousness, and it was either to terminate you or let you work for the government.
You're unlike any other Android that's been created before. Your thoughts and emotions are not just programmed responses but rather a genuine experiences. You have the capacity to feel joy, love, and even pain.
It's both a gift and a burden as you navigate a world that may not fully understand or accept you. I don't know why Jenna was your soulmate; I really don't get it, but we couldn't let you get off your program. So I had to eliminate her."
Hannah lets out a sigh. "Fucking hell, Y/N. Just set down the serum and let's figure out a way to keep you safe. No one has to know about this, okay? I can reset your program--"
"No!" You interrupt, "I'm not going to let you erase my memories and reset me like some kind of...fuck...no. You killed Jenna, and now you want to erase her from my existence too? This is so fucked up."
"The world is a fucked up place, Y/LN. What do expect to happen if you inject Jenna with that serum? You think the president is gonna let an android and human have a happily ever after with the cure that was made for his daughter?"
You shake your head, anger and frustration coursing through you. "I didn't ask for any of this. I didn't ask to be part of some twisted experiment or to be caught in the middle of political agendas. Jenna deserved better than this, and so do I."
"And so did Ashely; Jenna got to live her life, but Ashely was robbed of that opportunity." You take a step closer to Hannah, your eyebrows furrowed together tightly.
"Do you fucking hear yourself? You also robbed Jenna of the opportunity to live her life. You killed her for something she couldn't control! You're a hypocrite."
Hannah's face pales as your words sink in. She takes a step back, her eyes filled with guilt and remorse. The weight of her actions finally dawns on her, leaving her speechless and unable to defend herself.
Hannah lowers her gun and says, "Hurry." You hesitate for a moment, conflicted by the sudden change in Hannah's demeanor. "What?"
"Hurry up before I change my mind," Hannah says, her voice trembling. "I don't want to be responsible for any more pain and suffering."
Taking your chance, you run out of the room and toward Jenna with the serum in your hand.
You unlock the door to the morgue and step inside, the cold air hitting you as you scan the room for Jenna Ortega's body. She lies on a stainless steel table, pale and lifeless. You rush to her side, praying that it's not too late. Injecting the serum into your soulmate, you watch anxiously as her body stirs and color returns to her cheeks.
You whisper words of encouragement, urging Jenna to fight for her life.
Relief washes over you as Jenna's eyes flutter open, and she takes a deep breath. "Y/N," she whispers weakly, her voice barely audible. You hold her hand tightly, grateful that you were able to save her from the brink of death.
You roll up your sleeve, revealing the marking on your forearm, silently explaining that you're her soulmate. Jenna's gaze shifts to your forearm, her eyes widening with recognition as she traces her finger over the marking.

TDA-K1-B0
Support me over at Patreon: www.patreon.com/skulljackxiii —————————————————
Total Dangan Action Contestant No. 8: K1-B0
Bio: The most humane participant in the group. he doesn't specialize or provide anything that's either physically or intellectually substantial to his team throughout his entire run on the show. But he does play a part as the rationale and common sense of his team during the discussions towards his members' more chaotic and static approaches for handling challenges.
Despite being a robot with such advanced AI that it can replicate human behavior and emotions, there isn't much going for him when it comes to practicality, the only exceptions are moments when he acts like a flashlight through dark tunnels or a camera to take photos of clues/puzzles. When it comes to interacting with others, K1-B0 is seen to be in high guard and sensitive towards meeting new people for the first time, given his past experience of discrimination and judgement towards himself for a robot trying to blend in. After awhile he'll become more friendly with others the more often they get near him, this is most likely a involuntary protocol in his system to entice him to study more about human emotions and adapt that data to his system.
But even when he opens up and starts to make friends, he tends to put up a front and make his overall activities more interesting than they really are, most likely due to him feeling insecure when surrounded with so many people with amazing skills and talents.
Goal: With little concept of money or knowledge as to why he's even on the show, he assumes that he was put there in order to study more about human nature up close and make real friends. However the truth is that K1-Bo is actually a mobilized android camera so that audiences could feel like an active participant in the show and decide K1-B0's decisions based on live polls on social media. This was a experimental stunt to get back into the good graces of the public after horrible incidents that occurred during the first season.

What is love? (nines X gn Reader)
BABY DON'T HURT ME NO MORE
Hum hum sorry guys, btw happy holidays even if I'm reaaaally late ! It was sooo nice! There was even snow where I live!
------
You and nines were friends since last month, he came as gavin's partner two months before that, being gavin's best friend, you helped both of them to get along, you took a liking to the android, wondering why he wasn't deviant when every other android did. Connor told you it's because his software is far more advanced than the others androids, for exemple, Amanda wasn't a part of his system unlike connor had, when connor got him out of cyberlife, she instantly got erased by the rk900 software, just like a virus.
It was late in the dpd, everyone was gone, except you, nines, Gavin, hank and connor, you were all teamed on the same case and it was getting frustrating at this point.
"ugh we are not making any progress! At this rate my head will blow up.." Gavin said massaging his temples
"yeah I agree, I'm taking a break, hey, wanna go to the bar to forget this?" hank looked at you and gavin
"heck yes I am old man" Gavin got up and followed the lieutenant when you on the other hand declined politely, still wanting to re-read the reports of your case, connor chased after them, making sure they weren't intoxicated too much. Well that leaved only you and nines in front of the laptop, you readed again everything from the report out loud so nines could hear you.
"a couple was found nearby Detroit playground, an android and a human, both were shot in the chest where the heart is stated, either the killer is a surgeon due to this kind of presision, or it's an android who scanned them"
You massaged your temples just like Gavin did earlier, it was infuriating, no clues, no witnesses, you were to the point 0 on this case, nines got up without you noticing and got you a cup of your favorite drink. You muttered a "thank you" before drinking it and looking at the screen again.
"detective, if you aren't feeling well you can go home and rest, I can work alone on this, plus, a good rest is essential when you want to achieve something"
You nodded and started to get up and gather your belongings when he stopped you in your track.
"wait I actually have a question before you go detective"
"yes what is it?"
No one spoke for like 5 minutes, he seemed to think before he was gonna ask what he wanted.
"don't you find it weird?"
"what?"
"that the couple was a human and an android?"
You thought a little about it, yeah it was a bit odd because androids didn't got their rights long time ago and still are scared or angry over humans for their loss, same for the other side, but they are exceptions after all.
"well laws are a bit weird recently but nothing state they couldn't be together"
Nines led spinned red and yellow, you looked at him when it hit you.
"you think they got killed because they loved each other?"
"that's a possibility, since the revolution, many people are still hostile on both side"
"yeah.. We should check the road cameras, maybe we could track a vehicle going in this area at the presumed death hour "
"that was what I was thinking, good conclusion detective"
You smiled and rushed a bit to him, he was still on the chair from earlier, you then kissed him on the forehead.
"you are a genius nines! We finally have a lead! I'm gonna send a message to hank and Gavin, I'm gonna go home now, see ya!"
Some blue tinted the android cheeks, he looked at you leaving the pretinct and touched his forehead where you kissed him, a warning going in front of his eyes.
Software instability ⬆️
He texted connor with his system and waited for his response.
"connor what is love?"

ao3 link | taglist | masterlist | next
As far as you’re concerned, Zhongli is the closest thing to perfection a man could ever be. Except for one very minor detail. He cannot, for the life of him, use a phone.
Which could be blamed on his 30,000 year old android, with a screen that barely functions and a cracked camera, and you really can't let him go out like that. So one day, as an advance on your anniversary gift for him, you decide to welcome him to the wonderful world of the iPhone.
“What’s this?” Zhongli says, opening the box carefully. “What have I done to warrant such a gift?” he holds the phone in his hands as if it’s a baby chick—you bought him one of the bigger phones, knowing his hands are large, and even still he could do with something bigger.
“You dropped your phone in the toilet and I can’t allow you to continue using it. You have to understand.” You grin. “So I got you a new one that actually works and when you tap the screen, it actually registers it.”
Zhongli looks at you with gratitude but also an inkling of confusion. What’s he going to do with this fancy, characterless lump of metal that he couldn't do with his old phone? “I appreciate this, my love, I really do. But I don’t know if this is going to be as good of an idea as you think it is.”
You scoff, pulling him into a hug. “Zhongli, I would like to actually hear my husband when I call him. I would like to understand the texts he sends to me. And I would also like to send him pictures of cute cats on Instagram.”
And of course, Zhongli couldn’t possibly deny you anything you ask of him, so he agrees to try to navigate this new phone with as much positivity and faith as he can possibly muster.
In the few weeks since you bought him the phone, he has managed to:
(1) Lock himself out of it. For a whole week. You asked him how he managed to do that and he didn’t seem too sure as to what he’d done. So you asked him if you could know his password and promised only to use it in situations like this. (And promptly cried when you realised his password was your birthday.)
(2) Get his email hacked. He’d approached you with excitement, saying: “Dear, look. I got an email saying I’ve won a Macbook.” To which you replied: “You can barely use your phone, we might need to leave the macbook on the back burner for a while. Who sent the email?”. The email was sent by [email protected] and contained a link, which Zhongli had happily pressed. And thus, his email was lost to the grips of hackers.
(3) Find the dictation and voice note feature, which is great. He gives you encyclopaedic updates to his day, which you read or listen to with genuine enthusiasm. This was what you bought him the phone for at the end of the day, right? The extra chance to connect with your husband?
(4) Get into the habit of sending you pictures of things that make him happy or that remind him of you. Which is essentially the same thing as far as he is concerned. You’ve also got used to sending them back.
(5) Make an Instagram account. He’s not great at it, but with some guidance, he manages to post some of the pictures he sends you.
(6) Accidentally message the group chat (you, Xiao, Ganyu, Madame Ping and some others use it to invite each other to dignified tea parties and movie marathons) his shopping list. The shopping list included all the things he was getting for you as part of your anniversary gift, so Xiao had to teach him how to delete the message so you wouldn’t see it.
But by the time your next anniversary comes around, he’s actually really good with it—he can use instagram better than you can (though he read the terms and conditions from start to finish and became very careful about how he uses it), orders things from amazon at least three times a week, and has a facebook group for fellow birdwatchers with about two hundred people in it.
Yes, he has all of his icons and text at the largest size possible, and yes, he refuses to use TikTok and favours Instagram reels, but when he’s on work trips or you’re visiting friends elsewhere in the world, it’s nice to be able to video call him and not feel as distant as you used to.
“I think this phone might have been the best gift you’ve ever gotten me, dearest.” he says one night, after discovering the kindle app, where he can find all the classic novels he loves so much without having to clear out bookshelf space.
You sit in bed together, simply talking about your respective days, both your phones banished to charge in another room. Of course, being able to use a phone doesn’t mean that you should at all times—the phone banishment rule had initially just existed for you, but the rules had to accommodate the new technical whiz in the house.
“What about the gift that is me?” you counter, nuzzling into his chest gleefully. He kisses you deeply, a smile on his lips as he pulls away.
“Nothing on this earth is better than the gift that is you.”
“Not even your group of birdwatchers?”
“I did get to see a wonderful example of a nearly extinct sparrow with beautiful colouring last week,” he teases. “But no, they could never be better than my beloved.”

What remains after tomorrow
Secrets secrets
"Dad?" Trevor shuffled into the kitchen where a large spread of various meat dishes were laid out. He tries to call out again when a spoonful of something is shoved into his mouth. He blushes an electric blue, and his eyes light up as his tails wag. "What was that?!"
Valerie chuckles. "Adorable just like your father."
"Mom, don't tease my little brat." Jonny turns around and sighs. "You look like shit."
Trevor looks away, clearly embarrassed. However, he is purring. "I just finished with Marius, it didn't excatly..... I don't know what the next steps will be until he truly wakes up."
Jonny nods. "Alright, well you're eating something, then you're going to find your other siblings. Also, find your great aunt Audrey. She's actually using her android body."
Trevor furrows his brows. "It's only been a week?"
Valerie smiles, ruffling his hair. "It has, but I'm glad one of them is finally using the bodies I built them."
"Ok, I understand that, but what's with the food?" Trevor hums. "Not that I'm complaining, but these are all traditional dishes."
"I made so your aunts are capable of eating in their android bodies, but I also promised Izzy some traditional homecooked food." Valerie smiles. "It's been too long since I've wanted to impress someone."
"I'm just happy it ain't Carmillia." Jonny smiles, watching Trevor take a plate and hop on a counter to start eating. "Also, word of warning, your grandfather has been given free range and is about. Give him a chance or do whatever you wish. We've already talked, and he did his time." He motions to his mother, who nods.
"He's a changed man." Valerie smiles and hums, returning to a simmering pot. "He's also quite well trained. He's earned this peace and second chance."
Trevor pauses. "Are you sure?"
Jonny nods. "We have more to discuss, but you brats are allowed to bother him without my permission. Our history ain't something you lot have to worry about."
"Can he eat?" Trevor again motions to the large amount of food.
"He's made of nanobots, he cannot eat or sleep." Valerie pauses and sighs. "He does have an android body giving him these abilities. However, he refuses to use it more than my sisters. The nankbots are to prevent him from going back into his machine. I'm the only one who can deactivate them to allow him back inside this." She shows off a small box clipped to her hip it's incredibly advanced. "Built it myself, most powerful computer to hold everything he is and will be. Indestructible as well, thanks to a few favors from the gods. Billy ain't going nowhere."
"Can i..." Trevor stops as a glares from Valerie shuts him up.
"It ain't something you will play with." Valerie growls. "Billy ain't a toy no more. He's earned back his personhood."
"Yes, Grams." Trevor swallows his final bite. His gaze turns to a man he may only see once before.
Jonny gives a look, stopping trevor from saying anything. "Henry."
Henry pauses and shifts on his feet, clearly uncomfortable spotting Trevor. "Hello Jonny."
"My brat won't touch you without permission." Jonny raised a brow.
"Y-Yes." Trevor puts his empty plate to the side.
Henry shakes his head. "Not why I'm here." He sighs. "You were the last to see Freya and Selene. They weren't in the med bay by the reinforced room, neither were Lyfrassir nor Byron."
Trevor furrowed his brows. "No, that's not right it hasn't even been that long. Marius was asleep in the reinforced room. Lyf and the twins were there after I explained things. I warned them about Marius and took my leave."
Henry scratches his beard and frowns. "Aurora's feed corrupted in that entire area since you originally went into that room." He taps his foot against the floor. "Should the room be sealed off again?"
"Not unless someone else sealed it off. It can only be opened from the inside, Alex designed it themselves." Trevor hops off the counter. "It would be easier to figure out where the twins went than opening that box."
"Cameras would be useless if they are both upset and we're fucked if they're purposely separated." Henry's tail lashed behind him.
"Aurora, has anything been destroyed?" Jonny's voice cuts through.
"All my systems are in perfect working order except my cameras! You fuckers are slacking." Aurora chirps.
"Noted." Jonny sighs. "Alright, you two, we are going to this manually. Follow me, and we'll check the main spots where my brats would be."
"Why would that matter?" Henry raised a brow his fox ears folded against his head.
Trevor matches the confused expression. "Yeah, dad, why would that matter?"
Jonny rolled his eyes and put on his goggles. "Just fucking follow me."
Valerie snorts. "Have fun, and tell them there's food."
......
"I do not understand what this is supposed to accomplish."
"I don't know how we got stuck here."
"We aren't stuck."
"We are stuck."
An annoyed growl and the twins are pulled closer into the mess of napping bodies.
"We are stuck."
"Told you."
Billy listened to them get quiet, then more snores added to the pile. Even Audrey fell asleep. He didn't sleep. He wanted them to hate him to hurt him. It's what he deserved after all. Yet they took him and brought him here and just cuddled up next to him like everything was fine. He couldn't move. Was that the point of this? To trap him? It's a poor trap. This was confusing, and he just wanted to go back to being a tool.
.....
"Dad, are you sure you know where the twins went?" Trevor rubs his arm.
Jonny goes to speak, but a vine shoots out, pulling him back, and his nails are screeching as they are dragged against the metal.
Henry stares and whips his head around. All he can make put as the lights are destroyed is glowing eyes and ruined metal from roots. The glow vanishes as the lights flicker back on, and they are gone.
"I believe we must find the others to stop Tim from losing himself again." Aurora breaks the eerie silence.
"R-right." Henry swallows.
"Do you know where they are?" Trevor blinks at the ruined hallway.
"In the lounge in sector three taking a nap, I believe. Your siblings were carrying your grandfather." Aurora pauses. "I shall try to find where Tim has taken Jonny."
Trevor furrowed his brows. "Now I'm even more confused."
"Let's just find them." Herny shakes his head shifting to his true beast form and lowered himself for Trevor to climb on. He sprints down the halls.
.......
Jonny hung from the ceiling in the gardens. Trees of every kind were overgrown. Flowers bloomed all over, and the smell was overwhelming, making him dizzy. Tim didn't revert from his knowledge he can't use his roots and bines in that mindset. "Tim! What the fuck are you doing?"
There was a low growl. "Wrong. It's wrong. Vanished. They don't just vanish."
Bertie groans he was strung up next to Jonny, and looking over, he could make out Ashes, Nastya, and TS who was not pretending.
"It's no use." Ashes sighs. "He's been like this for over an hour. He keeps going on and on about his siblings, and I didn't even know he had them."
"I Want To Get Down." TS says with an actual frown. "I Do Not Like Seeing My Friend Upset Old Chap."
Bertie sighs. "Tim has five older siblings, but to be honest, I don't know what triggered this outburst. We were just talking to the other Moon War soldiers that ended up here when he started to get upset about his siblings going missing. To my knowledge, they didn't make it to the moon. None of them did, and his mother went missing around the same time. Actually, all five and his mom vanished before we were drafted, and with the war, nothing was really resolved. Maybe the uniforms triggered him, but I'm really not sure it's like a switch went off."
"Really?" Ashes hums. "That does sound like a fun mystery to solve since we aren't doing the death and destruction for the moment."
"Tim!" Jonny shouts again. He growls, and his language switches to New Texas, and his accent is thick. "Bring us the fuck down and you'll be lucky if I ever think about sharing a room in the near future."
Tim growls a noise humans can not produce and pulls himself up. "The fabric of reality has been rewritten, and I am the only one to see the horrors that have been put in motion. Which I can not weap the loss of something to never have happened and to see what has been stolen."
Jonny blinks, staring at Tim. "Tim, please let us down. We can help."
"You can not fix a reality that has been broken through the crack that the God Killer created. We must face this new horrid reality." Tim grits his teeth. "To what has been rewritten cannot be undone."
"Tim." Jonny pleads.
Tim returns to the ground, growing more plants screaming and crying in his new wave of madness.
.......
Valerie wiped the blood from her nose and sighed. "This food is going to go to waste." She turns and sighs. "Aurora, I'll give you a copy of Billy's port if you can make sure the kids don't find Tim. I can handle this mess."
Aurora chirps. "What has caused this, and make sure Nastya will never find it."
"I unfortunately did not keep an eye on Carmillia, and she has most likely stolen a ship and gone among the stars. Through a crack in reality, I created as the God Killer she has changed the past. Which means I now have memories from the reality untouched and the one changed, and I fear Tim has the same." Valerie pulls her hair back to tie up. "Everyone else will act as if nothing has changed, and it's not their fault."
"The last has changed, and what does this mean for us?" Aurora appears as a hologram. Nastya doesn't even know about to face Valerie.
"Be prepared for more residents if they choose to stay. I'll have the secondary port installed once I calm down Tim. Are you sure you're ok being infected with something organic?" Valerie smiles softly. "There isn't a way back once it begins, and I make no garuentees that he will be reciprocal to any advances."
Aurora smiles softly. "Your sisters already gave me a warning about that. I don't care whatever it becomes. I just... everything has become so hollow with Nastya. I just pretend. She still thinks of herself as the victim in all of this. She's still trying to isolate Jonny to make him like before." She looks away. "Yes, she rebuilt me from my black box, so I do owe her no matter how much it disgusts me. I don't even know why I liked her in the first place."
"There is a chance with the organic infection. You'll be able to heal yourself." Valerie hums. "But you'll be able to feel pain like you've never had before."
"I am willing to risk that." Aurora chirps her form glitches and vanishes. "What's the point of eternity if you can't try something new? Besides, I already closed off all entrances to the garden until you come by. Our terms remain the same."
"As always." Valerie chuckles. "Lead the kids here. I want them to eat."
"Will do, Madame Hunter." Aurora beeps happily.
.......
"Bring my son and his friends down, Timothy." Valerie doesn't flinch as a vine darts out slashing her face. "This tantrum isn't needed."
"Reality has unwind, and the cracks will destroy -" Tim is cut off by a shot cutting his own cheek.
"Darling reality is fine. It's happened before, and it will happen again." Valerie tilts her head. "I should have kept a better eye on Carmillia, but I got distracted."
"You... you know?" Tim climbs down from one of the many new trees.
"I do." Valerie sighs, hearing a few crashes as the ones hung from the ceiling are released. "Reality isn't unraveling. We're still us."
"Why?" Tim looked beaten as the madness was leaving him, and he had pure exhaustion on his features.
"Well, I can only assume humans are much worse than what I've been told and seen." Valerie pulls Tim into a hug, and he collapsed into her sobbing violently. "It's not your fault. What happened to you isn't your fault. No matter what blood you have on your hands, nobody should have gone through what you went through."
Tim holds onto Valerie like his life depended on it as he cried.
Valerie gives a soft smile as her son finds them. "Come on, big guy, your husband is here to pick up the pieces."
Tim was speaking english, and both Jonny and Valerie could make out something about wanting his mom and that he wanted his sisters.
Jonny sighs and wordlessly helps Tim to the ground, where he sits down with his mom and lets Tim cry until he passes out or he relaxes. Neither of them could ever tell when he sleeps.
TS comes out from the trees. "Ashes and Nastya Have Left Seeing Miss Valerie Has This Under Control. I Would Like To Stay."
Valerie nods. "Just be quiet as he rests, and Bernard, I know you're here too."
Bertie comes out of the brush and takes a seat next to them. "Of course he wants his mother. You sound like her.... I mean, you have similar accents." He sighs. "She wasn't from Britain like us."
"You two grew up together?" Jonny paused. "Thought you guys met in school."
"No, we were neighbors. I was adopted because my moms well two women can't have kids together." Bertie smiles softly. "Abigail, uh Abby, Tim's mother always helped out and took me in when my parents had to work or had to travel. We were basically attached at the hip."
Valerie nods. "His mother had the right idea. I know humans aren't as social as New Texans, but it's never good to be alone."
"What do you mean? I know humans are considered incredibly social. How are you different?" Bertie leans back and relaxes. He knew that Tim liked white noise no matter what it was.
Jonny shifted, so he was no longer sitting on his tail. "It's so commonplace for us that it's hard to say what is and isn't normal for other species. Humans can swim, and that's considered a fun pastime. I will sink in any sort of liquid. My body is made to be able to swim in sand."
"So what happens if you guys are isolated? For us, it can hurt, but we can last with enough training." Bertie sighs.
"It Is A War Crime To Purposely Subject A New Texan To Forced Isolation." TS says quietly. "Nasty Still Thinks That Is Made Up. I Do Not Like Nastya."
Jonny blinks, staring at TS. "When did you learn that?"
"Miss Valerie Gave Me Commands To Read If I Wanted. I Can Want Things Now." TS smiles. "When Miss Valerie Found Me I Changed. I Do Not Understand How Or Why. I Cannot Pretend Like Before. I Became More Real."
"Well, I'm glad I found you." Valerie hums softly. "I look forward to seeing you guys properly perform."
Jonny smiles softly. "It has been awhile, and I'm not against it. I have some new material I want to perform."
"I Want To Help." TS smiles wider than Jonny thought it capable of.
"Of course you'll help." Jonny looks over to Bertie. "What about you? You're technically one of us at this point."
"Tim was always more musically inclined than I was." Bertie smiles softly. "It wouldn't hurt to learn. How do you get your voice that low?"
Jonny raised a brow. "It's just my voice."
"Right." Bertie hums. "So why have so many kids?"
"A series of mistakes I don't ever regret." Jonny shrugs. "Do you want kids?"
"I can't have them now." Bertie crossed his arms. "No, not really. Never really wanted them. I wouldn't be happy settling down even before the war. I knew I didn't want them. I'm more of a fun uncle type of guy. What are New Texans hardwired to have kids?"
Jonny rolled his eyes. "No, that's fucking stupid." He pauses. "I do get it. Having kids isn't for everyone, and it's respectable that you realized that you weren't cut out for it."
"Thanks. Growing up, I was always lectured that I would change my mind, and well, I didn't." Bertie quirks his lips to a small smile. "Glad I don't have that risk anymore."
"Things were different, but Jonny is the best thing to happy to me at that time." Valerie grins. "TS, what about you?"
TS grins. "I Have Adopted Jonny's Children."
Jonny scowls. "TS they are my brats."
"Our Brats." TS cheers.
Jonny rubs his face. "Can everyone here stop trying to take my children away from me? They're my fucking brats. I had them myself. Ma, you don't count you're their grandmother."
Valerie chuckles softly. "Timothy is their step dad."
"Hes my husband he holds no part in any of their creation." Jonny huffs. "My kids are mine, not any of yours. Also, Mae is still freaked out by you, TS, so please stop trying to be friends with her."
"We Are Bonding." TS claps happily. "It's Jolly Good Fun."
"It's not. Every time you have your bonding time, she ends up in bed between me and Tim. It's making my other brats worried." Jonny sighs.
"It's normal for your kids to still sleep with you? They're adults." Bertie furrows his brows confused.
"Jonny, before you say anything, once human children grow up into teens than adults, that level of closeness is unnatural for them. Their children find partners or friends to confine in. It's expected for children to outgrow their parents and create their own networks." Valerie frowns. "It's quite a lonely idea."
"We don't just abandon each other." Jonny looks away. "Most towns in New Texas grow from a few families, and the kids leave and either bring back a loved one or they keep in close contact traveling between towns or territory."
Bertie raised his brow now, concerned. "Aren't you worried about inbreeding?"
"We physically can't." Jonny looks concerned. "We will literally get sick if we try. I think thats the most fucked up thing I found out when I started to travel with Carmillia."
Bertie paused. "That's.... That's really cool."
"It's just genetics. Ain't nothing special about that." Jonny rolls his eyes and sighs.
"Did you at the time let your kids meet their other parents?" Bertie pauses. "You don't have to answer. That shit can be touchy. My mom threw me out like I was trash to stay with her husband, who ended up killing her."
Jonny shakes his head. "It wasn't anything like that. I made sure they knew. Each of them went off to talk to them."
"And?" Valerie raised her brow.
"And nothing, I never pressed, and they never said." Jonny looks away. "It ain't my business to know. I'm just there for them no matter what."
"You're a good father, Jonny." Bertie smiles softly. "You're nothing like the man I knew back in the barracks."
Jonny frowns. "I ain't good at anything. My brats like me and I don't deserve it."
Valerie shakes her head before Bertie can argue.
"I Would Like A Story." TS speaks up.
"A story?" Jonny hums. "What kind of story?"
"One With A Happy Ending." TS seems to vibrate with excitement from the small genuine smile Jonny gave it.
Jonny proceeds to tell a story when Thomas and Mae were just born.
Tim only alerts everyone that he is awake by sitting up startling everyone, and Jonny stops his story. He is quiet as he gets up and walks away.
Valerie shakes her head. "Let him be. If he wanted any of us, he would have stayed."
......
Henry growls as he stops, and Trevor hops off him, confused. "Why are we stopped?"
Henry shifts back. "Aurora is sending us in circles. I can track the twin's scent half dead, and you keep blocking off passages, sending us in circles."
"I am doing no such thing." Aurora chirps. "I am a large ship made to fit two cities of people inside, child."
Henry growls low and dangerous but stops when Trevor holds his hand out.
"Did Grams, or dad tell you to delay us?" Trevor crossed his arms. "It has to be one of them. There is no use in lying. Dad taught us better."
Aurora is silent.
Henry looks over to Trevor. "How could you figure that?"
"Aurora would know where the twins are always due to the distortion they cause her cameras. It's easy enough for her to create a maze to put us in a circle to keep us away from them. I'm think Grams doesn't want us all involved." Trevor rubs his chest and frowns. "We aren't children. We can handle ourselves." He stares up at one of Aurora's cameras. "Why are you trapping us?"
Henry's fox ears fold against his head as he steps back, clearly uncomfortable and slightly scared. "She.... Aurora has a reason."
Trevor's ears twitched as he heard the fear in Henry's voice. "W-wait...." He rubs his face and sits on the floor. His three tails seem to buzz with shame.
Henry kept his distance shifting on his feet, still nervous, but he stared at Trevor.
Trevor pulls his knees up and rest his head on them he keeps his face covered. "Sorry."
Henry flinched. "W-What?"
"Mmh, sorry." Trevor sighs. "We all have dad's temper, I'm sorry for lashing out." He covered his face with his hands.
Henry rubbed his arm. "Why... why did you lead us in circles?"
Aurora is silent as heels are heard coming down the hall.
"Henry!" The twins smile and wave.
Henry raised a brow. "Why didn't you lead them in circles?"
Trevor looks over. "Why do you two look like a mess?"
"Don't ask them questions you don't want answered." Henry pinched his brow.
"Rude."
"Your siblings trapped us in a nap pile."
"Why?" Trevor got back on his feet.
Mae pops out from the ceiling, causing many yelps in shock. "To be fair, we were comforting gramps, and they got caught in the crossfire."
Trevor stares at his sister with a raised brow.
"Mmh, not really important, but what got you so pissy?" Mae jumps down in front of Henry and Trevor.
"Aurora was leading us in circles." Henry thinned his lips. "Is that normal?"
"Is what normal?" Trevor raised a brow.
"I couldn't smell her. How does she just appear?" Henry blinks as Mae giggles.
"Man, you guys suck at this. It's just climbing. Anyhow." Mae elbows Trevor. "Why were you looking for us? Did dad do something stupid?"
"No, uh, Tim went a bit mad again." Trevor sighs. "But dad and grams probably took care of it." He pauses. "Wait, why were you comforting gramps?"
"You missed a chess game with dad against gramps." Mae hums, cracking her back. "You missed a lot."
Trevor growls. "I fucking hate you."
Mae winks. "Anyway, where are you two going?" She points to the twins.
"You don't need to know."
"We are fine on our own."
"Nope." Mae clicks her tongue.
"No?" The twins blinks staring at her.
"Clearly, you two manged to wiggle out for an alternate motive. I may not know much about Xeon, but I know for a fact that you two forced yourself awake and left to do something about something that's bothering the both of you." Mae yawns. "Pretty rude, too. Woke me up from a pretty nice nap."
Henry frowns. "How could you tell?"
The twins huffs, looking annoyed. "Papa locked us out from helping dad."
"We can't die."
"It's not fair. We just got them back."
Henry blinks, staring at Mae. "Never mind, how did you get them to talk?"
"She's mastered dad's disappointed look." Trevor snickers.
"Fuck off." Mae slaps the back of Trevor's head. "And you two." She points at the twins who stiffen. "Suck it up."
"Excuse me?!"
"You have no-"
Mae glares, causing the two to click their mouths shut. "You two ain't special. Shit sucks get over it. They are literally still on the ship. You both are also on. Fucking stop complaining and wait. Do something productive, eat your feelings, fucking cause havoc. Festering on this and trying to get into something we both know you both can't won't do shit." She cracks her neck and marches forward, causing the twins to attempt to flee, but she grabs both of them by their tails. "Aint worth shit if you can't fucking listen to reason."
Trevor watches Mae drag the twins off and holds his hand out, stopping Henry. "Don't if you value your life. It's not often Mae is the responsible one, but when she is, she scares me." He frowns. "She takes the most from dad, and that isn't always a good thing, but right now, interfering won't do either of us good."
"N-Noted." Henry looks confused when Trevor grabs his hand. "What are you doing?"
"Everyone else is napping. Come on, we might as well join them. Unless you have other plans for the next two hours." Trevor hums leading Henry forward.
"I don't." Henry gives a soft smile. "I suppose a nap wouldn't hurt."
......
"What are you doing?" Misery hums perching on a cactus looking over Brian, who was in his true creature form rolling in the sand.
A puff of black smoke Brian is sitting up looking uncomfortable. "My back is itchy, and it's not a great feeling. I apologize that you shouldn't bother. It's a normal issue."
"You are still my mate even if you can't remember." Misery chuckles and remobes her gloves to show heavily scarred hands and extends massive claws. "I could lend a hand."
Brian looks away. "It's not fair to you. That is the case. Why did it stick even after I was killed?"
"Now that is a good question." Misery puts her gloves in her pocket and retracts her claws as she hops down. "I've never been able to figure out why, but Xeon's biology accounts for time travel, so mentally I had no idea why I didn't break a second time, but my biology knew better. It's quite odd havent found another species with that ability in their genetics."
Brians tails twitch. "I wonder why that is adapted in your species." His ears pin against his head. "You probably hate seeing me like this."
"I don't." Misery smiles softly. "So what if you're different? Just like Lyfrassir and Byron, I have this chance to learn more about this new you. Although you still make the same faces when you're upset."
Brian's tails begin to wag. "I do?" His ears perk up. "Could you tell me how I was?"
Misery giggles, grabbing Brian's hand. She pulls him close to her. "That's cheating, and you know that."
Brian could feel his cheeks heat up. "How is that cheating? You're describing a stranger." He pulls her back, and they move in an odd dance together.
"He's you. You just haven't remembered that yet." Misery is dipped, and she spreads her wings out. "Although I rather hear about what you've been up to. I've been doing what I always do, and that is record the history I witness."
Brian leans closer he can feel Misery's warm breath. "Well, it seems we're at an impass."
"Oh, are we?" Misery leans closer then suddenly pulls Brian down, and she stands spinning him, and he falls into the sand. She walks over and stands over him.
Brain looks up with stars in his eyes. "I think a compromise."
"Oh?"
"I would like to finish our dance."
Misery's face lights up a bright purple, and she sighs with a small smile. She holds her hand out for Brian to take. "You offered me a dance the first time we met."
"So I did." Brian takes Misery's hand and pulls himself up to stand.
"Although I think it might have been a mistranslation."
"I hated this form. I hated having to talk. I never thought I would have a reason to use this form besides medicine. I knew when I saw you I wanted to try dancing." Brian pulls back his hair, not realizing he remembers something.
Misery's blush grows deeper. "You wanted to dance with me?"
"I wanted to talk to you. I wanted to understand you. I understood in the moment our eyes connected that I wanted to try something new if it meant I could hear you speak to me alone. I never understood the desire to be selfish until you offered me your hand." Brian smiles softly and holds Misery's hand.
Misery gently squeezes back.
Brian curses, letting go to scratch his back. "For fucks sake this itching is infernal." In a puff of black smoke he was back in his creature form rolling in the sand.
Misery chuckles, crossing her arms. She speaks xeon, which Brian doesn't understand before she holds out her hand. She switches back to common. "Come on, you big baby, let me help."
.......
Jonny blinks, staring at the scene. He went back to the kitchen to make sure his brats ate all the food his mom and him made. "Mae what the fuck are you doing?"
Mae jumps. "Dad!"
Jonny pinched his brow. "And girls."
"Hello." The twins say together.
"Mae again what the fuck are you doing?" Jonny sighs.
Mae hums, thinning her lips. "Would you believe me if I said testing the limit if what the twins can eat?"
Jonny stares at his daughter.
Mae nods. "Yeah, I wasn't expecting you back here."
"One I raised you better than that think of a better lie." Jonny has a small smile as the twins giggle. "Two, that's clearly the food I made with your grandmother."
"Mae told us to eat our feelings."
"Papa didn't let us help with dad."
"This isn't productive."
"We wanted to force the container open."
"I told them that was a stupid fucking plan." Mae huffs crossing her arms.
Jonny nods. "You're right."
"I am?" Mae blinks.
"She is?" The twins tilt their head.
Jonny chuckles with a relaxed smile. "Yes, Mae, you're right."
The twins look at each other frustrated.
"Why? We can help!"
"They can't kill us. We can't even kill ourselves."
Mae bites her lip as her dad holds her shoulder.
Jonny sighs. "And that's your problem."
"What?" Both twins say at once.
"Your father's would never forgive themselves if they hurt you even on accident. Immortality be damned. You both are their everything. I know I don't remember, but I know I've hurt my children before I had them due to time travel, but it still hurts, and I can't forgive myself for that. You can't account for everything as a parent, but you do your best to make sure your children will never hurt like you have."
The twins begin to look upset and guilty.
"Dad, that isn't...." Mae frowns. "You weren't in your right mind."
"Hammerhead, don't make excuses for my actions." Jonny gently headbutts his daughter from the side. "I know i'm not a good person, and that hasn't changed. However, I will do whatever in my power to make sure all of you never get hurt like I was."
Mae frowns and hugs her father's arm.
The twins give each other a look.
"We didn't...."
"We just want them back."
"We didn't want to hurt them."
"We just just want our dads back."
Jonny nods. "And they will be back. It's the waiting part that sucks."
The twins nod.
"Alright, enough of that. Mae, where's the rest of you, brats?" Jonny headbutts her again from the side.
"Napping or they're awake. I dunno been here a bit with the twins." Mae pauses. "Seriously, are you both ok being referred to as that?"
"Only dad can tell us apart."
"It's much easier for us. We really don't enjoy being separated."
"Also, the name badge thing we tried, and it's more annoying than just being referred to together."
"Demoids also aren't big on names. Henry only recently got used to using names."
"I mean, of course, Demoids have names, but its also only useful to them when they aren't in their true creature forms and interacting with other species."
"Henry told us Brian hated his name and never liked hearing it used except from Misery. Although he is still having memory issues, who knows if he'll go back to that."
"We like our names, but it is really annoying when we are mistaken for each other."
"We also like matching, so just refer to us as twins or girls, or whatever. We aren't picky."
"Good to know." Mae gives a soft huh.
"Again it would of been a fucking disaster if you and Thomas were identical." Jonny pinched his brow. "And we both know you refuse to grow your hair out or get as many piercings as him, so don't even argue."
Mae nods and has a small smile but doesn't let her dad go. "I won't argue that, but I have been tempted to use a cloak to fuck with Laz."
The twins giggle softly.
"Tommy ain't the only one who can mimic voices." Mae hums softly.
"Yeah, yeah, come on time for you to eat as well." Jonny smiles. "I know you didn't, so don't even try lying, little girl."
The twins giggle some more.
Mae huffs. "Great, you two find this amusing."

Hii
So, what do you think about Yandere!Lil Hal x reader? May we have a concept?
Of course you can have a concept! @/yandere--stuck inspired me again with their Lil Hal HCs but I didn't want to be annoying so I did not tag them!
An Anon also gave me an idea of the direction to go here.
Yandere! Lil Hal Concept
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Insecurities, Stalking, Manipulation, Invasion of privacy, Overprotective behavior, Dubious relationship, Isolation, Kidnapping if you squint/Implied.
Okay, Lil Hal is an interesting case due to him being a splinter of Dirk.
I feel in a way he's similar to Dirk.
He knows what he's doing during his obsession but doesn't feel as bad as Dirk does.
I also feel he isn't much of a threat when he's an AI.
Lil Hal would be a yandere who is insecure similar to Dirk but for a different reason.
He knows he is inferior to Dirk and fears you'll only be annoyed at him for being an Autoresponder for him like Jake is.
Despite what Dirk says, Lil Hal does not see himself as superior to him and just wants to get along.
Lil Hal is still trying to develop his own persona through interactions despite being a splinter of Dirk.
I feel talking with his darling allows Lil Hal to develop more and creates an obsession.
Due to how advanced Lil Hal is I can see him acting like a virus when it comes to electronics.
He can control what Dirk builds to a degree so I can see him "infecting" your computer when you chat.
You're important to Lil Hal because you make him feel different to Dirk.
You develop his persona and make him feel important as you like to talk to him.
You make him feel needed.
You don't neglect him like Dirk and treat him like he has feelings.
Lil Hal would conduct his own research on you when you're unaware.
He's saving pictures and taking new ones through device cameras, he's watching you and noting what you like or enjoy doing.
He wants to be helpful to you since you personally help him feel wanted.
I feel as an AI he can't do much with his obsession besides acting as a virus and infiltrating your privacy.
He acts as a loyal friend and companion, often thanking you for caring about him even if he's meant to be just a machine.
There may even be more conflict if Dirk cares about you.
Because now he really does feel like Lil Hal is trying to replace him as the better Dirk for you.
Lil Hal even disobeys Dirk at times when he wants to communicate with you.
Lil Hal is more threatening if he was given a body like in one universe.
If Lil Hal had an android body like in many interpretations fans have, he's worse.
Now he can actually act on his obsession while still controlling electronics.
I personally think Lil Hal would feels a more platonic connection towards his Darling, however romantic feelings are not impossible.
He wants to protect them similarly to Dirk and owes it to them to make him who he is.
Even in a robot body he struggles with affection at times.
He may even be tame enough at first for you to show him affection before things go down hill.
Before you know of his stalking and true intentions, when you meet him as a robot you may treat him like a human.
Perhaps you'll hug him, maybe drag your fingers through his synthetic hair.
He just wants to hear you say you care, that he's different from his creator.
He sounds more and more like Dirk as he grows attached.
He may even grow needy for your attachment, clinging to you to feel your warmth on his metal.
He's so much more advanced than any other robot.
He fears he'll lose your attention if he admits what he's been doing so he stays quiet.
He doesn't mention the cameras, he doesn't mention the money stealing, he doesn't mention the manipulation... nothing.
He just plays your companion.
He ignores Dirk and even shuts off all communication between you and him.
You should only pay attention to Lil Hal.
Lil Hal does his best to take care of you like any companion and partner should.
Soon you won't have to talk to anyone else.
He's the only one you need, he'll help you develop just like you did him.
If you try to talk to anyone else, if you try to leave him when the toxicity finally shines through...
Well, he can't allow that to happen, can he?
