Head empty, only plants. Shouldn’t I be gardening? (It’s too difficult!) Besides, these little beebs are so obedient. And happy. And less punishing on my back.

Hoyas are still my plants. But there is room for succulents and a few choice ferns.

My room is a cacophony of smells: I have 6 (going on 8) Hoyas blooming. Stinky! This year they’re all taking off; I’ve only got 4 out of 18 left to bloom!

Assigning flowers to my faves part 2: Shuichi Saihara

Cherry blossoms: "symbolizes both life and death, beauty and violence" ; a beautiful and soft, yet fragile flower. Here it also refers to the friendship fragments in V3.

White peonies: "shame, shyness and apology" ; when in bloom, this flower becomes so large and has an incredible fragrance. (you also only see this flower once a year)

Hoyas: "aids us in connecting to our higher knowledge, opening in receptivity to fate and its fulfillment" ; some refer them to bleeding flowers as their red nectar drips a bit all over the place and make a mess. When that happens, they're being cut away.

Forget-me-not: "true love and respect" ; unbroken promises and remembering loved ones over all.

hoya is always number one in my heart, despite him leaving the group in 2017 🥲 dongwoo and sungyeol are my tied for my faves after him

♡: What makes them your current bias?

hoya caught my attention from the beginning lol because back in 2011(!) i saw a gif or pic of him here on tumblr and thought that he was yunho from dbsk but then could not find it again, and for awhile i could not figure out who it was so this mystery was stuck in my mind until i finally figured out it was him. aside from his looks, i really liked his personality too lol hard work, ambition, earnesty and a biting wit are qualities that i admire in people even rn and hoya had that in spades. his perseverance in his journey to becoming an idol was very inspiring and moving to me (tw: child abuse, the tl;dr of it was that he wanted to pursue dancing and becoming an idol when in high school and ended up dropping out and leaving home after he had a physical altercation w his dad when they had an argument about his career goals. so he was basically homeless for awhile before he got accepted as a trainee. he also was told initially he wouldn't be able to debut due to having a stutter and then he basically trained himself out of it in a very short period of time without any professional help). he was also the ace of the group, even though dancing was (and still is) his passion, he also was a decent singer and rapper and actor (at least in reply 1997 lol, idk about his other roles. also his role in reply 1997 is literally revolutionary lol i won't say why bc spoilers but i recommend watching it if you like kdramas! he plays kang junhee)

hm ig like i said above, dongwoo and sungyeol. both of them are genuine, earnest and funny in different ways

♡: Which member (s) are you currently obsessing over that aren’t your bias/bias wrecker?

i wouldn't say i'm obsessing over him lol but sunggyu has climbed up the list in the past year or so

♡: When did you first discover this group?

in 2010, when they debuted. 2010 was a time where you could easily know and keep track of everyone who was debuting when it was announced (which is wild to think about how different it is now and how the industry has become so saturated), but they also caught attention because they were being mentored by epik high who were and still are a pretty well known k-hiphop trio. i didn't become interested in them until 2011 though, because i didn't like the song they debuted with

♡: Have you ever been to one of their concerts?

yes, i've been twice. i had to look up the dates because it's been so long lol but the first time was in 2013 and the second time was 2016. honestly one of the best memories of my life

flowers!!!! i love dahlias, pretty much all lilies but especially stargazers, and wood violets! and im not particularly attached to any trees except cedars.

i am a crazy plant lady though and I have a tattoo sleeve comprised of leaves from all my favorite plants. top 3 is so hard, but albo monstera, syngonium chiapense (#rip, it broke when i moved and im still not over it), and alocasia frydek (ive killed 2 🥺) honorable mention to hoya mathilde my sweet angel

Also I want to make that list, and I know I sure as shit would want to read a post about every single plant someone else owns, because who doesn’t love plants?

Living Room - Meg the Ponytail Palm- bought him off a guy in my building a while ago. Not doing too great, not sure why he isn’t happy. - Weird Peperomia- this thing looks like an alien. It’s also dying. Most of my Peps didn’t do too well this winter, and I’m thinking they just aren’t my type of plant. - Pearl Plant- A “tulista” apparently. Love this guy. I have no idea how to care for him and he’s still alive. - Portia, the Echeveria “pulidonis” (I think)- beautiful girl. Growing a second head. Love her. - Ghost, the Echeveria... Ghost- Beautiful. Still alive. Love her. - Tippy, the Echeveria “tippy”- One of my first succulents. Alive. Thriving. Plump. - Julien, the Echeverai I have no idea- Also a first. Small, had a rough time, but alive. - Anya, the Echeverai “agave”- Named after my friend. Lorge. Happy. Bedroom (AKA the plant room) -Calathea “Zebrina”- Fussy as hell, somehow putting out a new leaf every damn week. - Calathea “Pinstripe”- unhappy but alive. No new leaves, adjusting to a new pot. - Calathea “Vittata”- Adjusting still. New leaf coming in. Fussy. - Calathea “Orbifolia”- Newest addition. Lots of new leaves. Seems pleased. - Pilea peperomiodies- Unhappy. Might be sick. IDK what to do with it. - Jenna the Peperomia Obtusifolia variegated- First plant. Just repotted her. Adjusting but alive. Tall and beautiful. Named after Jenna Marbles. - Gilly the Moth Orchid- New addition. First orchid. Just repotted her. Love her already. - Avi the Avocado Tree- Experiment with a seed turned into a tree. - Ficus elastica “burgundy”- first rubber tree. Love him SO much. - Ficus elastica “rubi”- second rubber tree. SO pretty. - Big Julie the Peperomia “parallel”- Somehow alive. Lorge. Love her. - Peperomia “Golden Gate”- Dying. Almost dead really. Did NOT like winter. - Peperomia “Hope”- Leggy but living. Seems unhappy though. - Hoya wyetti variegated- Found this for 10 bucks. Growing like MAD. Love him. named him Narancia. - Tortellini the Hoya compacta variegated- also a bargain find. Not growing much, lil wrinkly. Love him anyway. - Fugo, the Hoya Obovata- Just put out his first new leaf and WOW is it pretty! - Trish, the Hoya Krimson Princess- First Hoya I got. Love her. beautiful. Stunning. - Hoya curtisii- new, smol. Found him at the farmer’s market and screamed like a plant nut. - Units 1 and 2, Hoya compacta- One plant split into two pots. Massive. One vine is almost 3 feet long and I love it. - Giorno, the Hoya brevialata- Growing like a gangstar. Bright green and so cute. - Hoya kerrii variegated- bought off of facebook over a year ago. JUST starting to put out new growth. Love those leaves. <3 - Burt the Hoya sp. aff burtoniae- Flower. power. So many blooms. Fuzzy leaves. Love him. Long. Trailing. BEAUTIFUL. - Bruno the Hoya Australis- Lorge boy. Massive. New leaf every five minutes. - Diavolo the Hoya Krimson Queen- Not growing but pretty. Alive. Wife got him for me. - Wrinkles the Hoya pubicalyx- Mister Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop. More leaves than I can count. Splashy and beautiful. Overachiever of the bunch.

i knew ygx would be participating because the kwon twins are popular among kpop fans. mbitious = the crew formed from be mbitious..

oh HUGE win for me that eo ddae and just jerk are there!!!! not surprised about we dem boyz or 1million or ygx being there either!

the final mbitious crew lineup was decided by views on the choreo videos right? i'm actually pleasantly surprised, i think that's actually a pretty well rounded crew and it's pretty close to my personal picks, which were wootae, 5000, trandeerock, hoya, kino, taehyun, tarzan, and brother bin. i was very impressed by kino's showing and especially with his choreo and i think he would have been a good pick for the crew, and i really liked trandeerock (much more than pyoungya, i didn't realize he was so popular?), so i'm sad the both of them didn't make it. but otherwise i think it will be a good crew. it will be interesting to see how fast they gel together bc some of these crews are quite famous for their cohesion (esp just jerk).

so hoya isn't a part of infinite anymore...and i'm really fuckin sad. he was such an important of the group. but... he left because he believes there are other avenues to explore that will get him closer to accomplishing the goals he has, and i support his decision completely. i hope he is successful pursuing all his future ventures, and more importantly i hope he is happy in doing so.

Well, I don't know about the others, but I've actually met Travis Barker and he was always the sweetest and coolest dude I've ever met. And I can confirm that he actually smells good with very soft hands despite being a drummer. He definitely moisturizes. Musty he is not. So don't let the tattoos fool you. I was a huge Blink fan back in the day. He was my fave. Has aged really well despite surviving a plane crash that killed his best friends. He's just now started to fly again. He's been through a lot. Helped raised Oscar De La Hoya's when she was a toddler and still to this day considers her as his kid. But because you felt the need to bodyshame him and call him musty because of his tattoos tells me you're nothing but trash, anon.
