Donald Trump's goal is to become an authoritarian dictator. He's made no secret of this, and these are the people he admires.
I personally think this was the most important speech of the night.

Joey Nolfi at Entertainment Weekly:
The View star Ana Navarro can hone in on a political mess when she sees one, but this time she's letting her dog, canine icon ChaCha Cárdenas, sniff out Donald Trump's shortcomings in the 2024 presidential race. As host of night two of the Democratic National Convention, Navarro — a Republican who holds a weekly post on ABC's View talk show — took the stage Tuesday night at Chicago's United Center, and wasted no time leading the group in a collective snarl against Trump and his supporters.
"Kamala Harris? She likes dogs, and my dog ChaCha likes her," Navarro told the enthusiastic crowd, while a photo of Vice President Kamala Harris — who received delegates at the convention Tuesday evening, en route to scoring the Democratic nomination — holding ChaCha appeared on a giant screen behind her. [...] Elsewhere during her DNC hosting gig, Navarro compared Trump to the communist regime in Nicaragua that she previously fled as a child. "Donald Trump and his minions call Kamala a communist. I know communism. I fled communism from Nicaragua when I was 8 years old. I don’t take it lightly. And let me tell you what communist dictators do. And it’s never just for one day. They attack the free press," Navarro wrote in a follow-up message on Instagram, summarizing her words on stage at the DNC. "Do any of those things sound familiar? Is there anybody running for president who reminds you of that?"
During Tuesday night’s DNC, host Ana Navarro called out Donald Trump for his associations with people who shoot dogs in a take that at South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem. Navarro also detailed her experiences of escaping the horrors of communism and Trump’s authoritarianism. #DNC2024

Some people claim this closeted actor on reddit was Chris Evans
In the reddit post called
"Being an extremely well-known yet closeted American film actor.",
he allgedly said that he was adviced to come out when his career starts to dwindle. So I guess now is the time? And for the people who are still doubting me. If he were truly in love with the Portuguese actress, why fake a marriage? Why not just be open about that immigration law takes time and they can't marry yet because it would mean that she has to stay in the US for months, limiting her career (or he for months in Portugal... which neither of them did). Shouldn't be a problem, you know? Of course the sexist women of The View, who are part of the industry and know that this is fake PR, asked him when he is about to have kids. Based on his reply he wasn't all to enthusiastic about that topic (No surprises here. Imagine having a kid with your Hollywood beard like Bradley C.) But for a second, imagine the roles reversed. Implying a woman can only have a fulfilled marriage when she has kids. I thought the hosts of The View were feminists??? #DoubleStandards It is nonsensical what he is doing right now, evidenced by the fact that dog food gets more attention from him than his alleged wife and he still loses followers on instagram all the time. It just simply shows that people aren't interested seeing him married to a woman. #EternalBachelorChris

“Well, [learning history] should make you feel bad. But it’s important that it makes you feel bad.”
“I don’t think it should make you feel bad. I don’t think a white child that had nothing to do with slavery should feel bad about slavery. I think we need to learn history so we don’t repeat the same mistakes about history.”
Source
For those interested, that's Sara Haines and Ana Navarro, respectively, from The View and, yeah, I think they're both right.
On the one hand, bad things happened in history and everyone should learn about them. If you don't feel bad about bad things that happened, it probably means you didn't learn the lessons from them.
On the other hand, no child should feel personally bad about something they had nothing to do with. No child in a classroom today is responsible for the slavery of the 1800s, the Segregation of the 1900s, or police brutality today.
Here's the thing, though, I don't think either of those hosts (or just about anyone else for that matter) would disagree with either of those two statements. The reason we are disagreeing has more to do with the imprecise language we're using to discuss the issue and a refusal to clarify.
And it's important that we do clarify, because the people who really don't want you to learn the lessons of history so that they can repeat it are taking full advantage of that ambiguity. Racists all over the country are going to school board meetings and taking control of educational curriculum in conservative states talking about how history shouldn't be taught in a way that makes kids "feel bad". They mean the first quote up there, but they want you to think they mean the second.
Don't be taken in by the "debate". No kid should feel personally bad about history they didn't participate in, but no one who learns actual history should be uniformly proud of everything that their country, race, religion, or any other identifier has done.
Understanding the bad parts of history is the first step to fixing the effects that they're still having here in the present, and the people who want racism to continue are fighting that tooth and nail.

Ryan Adamczeski at The Advocate:
Elliot Page is calling out Republicans' obsession with trans kids— while giving the perfect bit of advice to those who want to fight back.
The Umbrella Academy and Juno star appeared on the latest episode of The View to talk about the political climate facing the LGBTQ+ community, and he didn't mince words. The exchange began with host Ana Navarro asking a pointed question about the GOP's obsession with transgender youth. "Republicans are obsessed with what they call the LGBTQ agenda, and across the country, they've introduced hundreds of anti-LGBTQ+ bills, including those banning gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth," she said. "What do you feel about that, and what advice do you have for anybody who wants to be an ally to the community?" Page answered that he's “incredibly sad about it and angry and frightened" by the legislation wave, which is spearheaded entirely by "misinformation." “I think of, for example, the trans community, and how the vast majority of people don’t know or think they don’t know a trans person," he said. "The amount of misinformation and true, flat-out lies about our lives, who we are, our healthcare, spreads."
Appearing on last Friday’s episode of ABC’s The View, actor Elliot Page stated that he was "incredibly sad about it and angry and frightened” about the state of right-wing anti-trans misinformation.
