Showing historical figures fanfiction of them:
American politician edition!
Please select one of these figures and explain why you have chosen them in the reblogs.
I’ve read a bit of fanfiction of a few of these politicians. Most of these are presidents, because despite studying a decent amount of American history. I can only add a certain amount of answers to the poll.

Harvard is such an accomplished university that it’s really hard to be unimpressed by anything to do with it.
But recently Harvard made me so disappointed…
Harvard is a place where so many people from different backgrounds, has published so many studies that are backed by intellectuals for hundreds of years.
Anything that would come from it would not only be a highly trusted source, but an ethical one, and one that is more neutral than anything.
A institution like Harvard can get away from being neutral; only Harvard! Everyone else must choose a side in certain topics, that’s just how society works right now, especially in the age of social media.
Everyone must know who’s side your on whether it’s sports, politics, celebrity drama, etc. there is a hashtag for it.
Harvard choosing a side and such a sensitive topic where it’s so detrimental that it can hinder its students social emotional health in a very detrimental way.
We all know it’s already hard enough to get in (tigger), then you actually have to study and attend the difficult school (tigger), and now you have to deal with the school that you worked so hard to get into actually doesn’t support your humanitarian right to live…..(tigggerrrr)
I know I totally just switch it up right there honing into a specific group.
Okay I’ll here enough of this.
Note to Harvard though: I’m so disappointed you.

This is relatively long (around 10 minutes) but I feel i must share this because it's a great starting point for everyone to understand the current political climate in the united states.
- If you call yourself a leftist, watch this.
- If you call yourself a conservative, watch this.
- If you call yourself a libertarian, watch this.
- If you don't care about politics, suck it up and watch this.
Everyone who finds themselves to live on the same soil that once belonged to the native americans who were so cruelly wiped by colonial forces, watch this.
After you watch this, I am asking you to share. Visit this guy's account on tiktok (@watchfulcoyote).
Don't let this be "just another one of those obnoxiously long political tiktok videos." Let this open your mind into something worth exploring.
Anyways, may all colonial and imperialist nations fall and may all their leaders burn in the pits of hell.
Free the Middle East, Free Africa, Free the Oppressed Peoples of the world.

thank god they vetoed it. my city has a very high homeless population. there’s usually someone on the corner right outside my apartment building, sometimes they have a dog with them. i’ve given them breakfast burritos, sandwiches, water bottles. they’re good people. if i woke up one day and saw one of them dead on that corner, i would turn into a fucking supervillain.

So, there's a lot of USians around who are very clearly fucking fed up with their political choices this election cycle, and planning to sit it out.
And I get it! What's the point of voting if there's no one to vote for?
The thing is, I'm Australian. In Australia, voting is compulsory. We don't get to sit out our elections, and I'll be real honest with you - we don't exactly get better choices than you lot. So how do you vote if there's no one to vote for? You find someone to vote against. And there's always someone to vote against.
Now, we have the pleasure of preferential voting in Australia - We get to rank every candidate from 1 to X, and I'll tell you, there's something so cathartic about putting the biggest bastard of the lot at the very bottom of your preferences. I understand that USians don't get that option - you get to mark one person, and that's it.
That means that you get one shot, so aim it at the biggest bastard of the lot. The candidate you most utterly detest. Put your vote in the worst possible place for them. Don't even think about who that vote's going towards, that's not the point. Remember, every vote is a vote against someone. Make sure you fuck up that someone's election day!
