Here are the communications I have had with Amazon and AMC over the last 5 hours. AMC washing their hands and Amazon apparently doesn't have the license for any more episodes.

Can recommend emailing prime video (email form is in the app) so we can make some noise about this. Concerned that this week's episode won't air and worried about ratings!

Is anyone else in Australia having issues watching episode 5 on prime? Its showing as unavailable for me. Prime have no idea what's going on. I've emailed both them and AMC. Absolutely panicking about this week's episode not airing.

AUS: Amazon Lists Melon Soda Tamagotchi Connection

Melon Soda down under! Amazon has just listed preorders for the Melon Soda Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary! Not yet available, but they should be soon, you know how the Amazon drama goes.

Amazon MGM Studios’ $100 million live-action movie Voltron has started filming on the Gold Coast.

The big-budget feature stars Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Henry Cavill, Rita Ora, John Kim, Alba Baptista, Samson Kayo and Tharanya Tharan.

Queensland Minister for the Arts John-Paul Langbroek said securing the major production would ensure the continued growth of the Gold Coast film industry and bolster the city’s growing reputation as a global screen production destination.

“I look forward to Amazon MGM’s production of Voltron commencing filming and its welcome injection of more than $100 million to Queensland’s economy including hundreds of screen industry jobs and a significant boost for local businesses,’’ said Mr Langbroek.

“The Queensland Government is committed to ensuring these significant benefits are realised across the state, leveraging local talent, extraordinary locations and state-of-the-art facilities.”

Screen Queensland chief executive officer Jacqui Feeney said that Voltron was the latest in a pipeline of Amazon MGM Studios productions to film in the sunshine state.

“We are delighted that our Production Attraction Strategy, combined with the Australian Government’s 30 per cent Location Offset, has secured another Amazon MGM project for Queensland––a film production of significant scale creating impressive screen worlds––which will again showcase the skills of our talented local crew, cast and stunt workers to a global audience,’’ she said.

“Voltron will employ approximately 825 screen practitioners at Village Roadshow Studios and provide invaluable on-set training opportunities to emerging crew on this high-calibre production.”

I cannot stress enough how much you all need to get onto Deadloch. Australian TV can be a bit hit and miss, this is a hit. Fantastic. Yes please. Cannot wait for the final ep.

Troppo (Season 2)

🎬An eccentric private investigator with a criminal past and a disgraced ex-cop solve a murder in the wilds of Far North Queensland.

✍️A seriously good detective drama set in beautiful Queensland. I highly recommend it. It is original, with great character development and mystery. Definitely worth spending one's time on. Season 2 is available in Australia on the ABC network and will be free to watch on Amazon's Freevee channel from July 25th. It's a good show, and in a field of mediocre and 'same ol' rubbish, it is commendable to come across something new and different.

I have a few book preorders. And to be strict on myself about reading, to be able to keep the preorders, I have to read either the previous book or read the digital version on my kindle (some of the books haven’t released here physically so).

3 Dec - Scarlet Veil Deluxe Edition (this is an automatic keep cause it’s one of my fav books)

10 December - An Education in Malice (I have to read this digitally. For some reason Australia has no stock of this atm that I can find, but Amazon is getting stock soon)

2025:

21 Jan - Phantom (instantly getting this as I adore the Haunting Adeline series. This is also just a kindle book)

29 Jan - Immortal (to keep this preorder, I have to finish daughter of the moon goddess and heart of the sun warrior)

11 Feb - Scythe & Sparrow (have to finish leather and lark to keep this preorder)

2 April - The Shadow Bride (this is an instant keep. I’ve read The Scarlet Veil, as we know, it’s my favourite book so I have to read the next one instantly.)

As a queer, young adult who travels solo a lot, I’ve decided to challenge myself to bring my copy of "Good Omens" to all the absurd locations I end up. First location is *somewhere* in the great Australia bush!

Currently, I’m forty kilometres from the nearest town, said town only being populated by 103 people. I’m here for the next two days, and tomorrow I’m going hiking to a supposed secret, "fairy glen" that’s somewhere in the mountains. The adventure begins!
