EVs are usually powered with lithium ion batteries, which is of debatable environmental friendliness and rife with human rights abuses. needless to mention that the US already produces an insane amount of waste and people buying new, expensive EVs en masse will make this issue even worse. simply put, in the vast majority of cases, you, as an individual, will produce less waste and pollution by keeping your current vehicle as opposed to buying a new EV.  EV sales are dependent on well-intentioned people who care about the environment not researching what they’re buying. governments & companies are advertising them and making laws in favor of them because they’re making money, not because they’re good. do not fall victim to consumerism. they are banking on you not knowing any better.

Now normally I don’t answer strange calls or rings at my door (you won’t believe the kind of people who live in grimetown, so I’m weary of those kind of things) but I looked through the peephole in the door and saw a man so fine I had to check twice. Opened the door and a man who said he had the “deal of a lifetime” was there smiling at me. I knew he had to be a money saving aficionado like myself because he was going green, using an alternative-fuel vehicle and wearing clothes that had to be second hand. A thrifty kinda guy—I love a financially conscious man. So I let him inside my house. For a moment he seemed stunned by the sheer amount of coupons I had around me, organized in folders by product and brand and— well, you get my drift. As we chatted over his wares I could hear shuttling noises throughout my house but he assured me it was just the sounds of his vehicle running. I ended up buying some wares off of him (a laptop for FREE included, can you believe that?!) and sent him on his way, knowing what a deal I was getting, but once I closed the door and walked down towards my bedroom the house was full of a RAT ARMY!! They were stealing my things and running them out the window!! And when I turned my back, the worst offense—THEY STOLE MY COUPON BOOKS 😭 was this a revenge plot by that half-wit McDonald’s manager?? Was this door to door salesman a rat pied piper??? Cant have anything nice in grimetown!! 😭
