♡ ‘ forbidden ’ collaboration event ♡

sometimes relationships don’t always turn out the way you want them to. whether it’s because other relationships get in the way, or you’re just not allowed to see the other person. maybe it’s taboo, and you really should avoid getting caught. this collaboration highlights those relationships!

how to join:

send me an ask with which character you’re going to write for, as well as which trope you’ll be writing for. the rules are under the cut, so please read them before joining! please be following me so you can see the other's contributions when I reblog them!!

this is an open event. you can write for any anime that you want to! just keep in mind that my blog is mainly aot and jjk, so i’m more open to those two ! but there’s no cap on who you want to write for.

I’ve reached A Number [🎊500🎊] and I went back and forth on making a gift... then I remember I had a good bit of poses that were just sitting in my WIP folder and my general rule is if one person wants it, I’ll release it. Plus it’s been months since I’ve released anything, lol.

Notes/Suggestion: For the furniture poses, I made sure to include a BGC version and they are labeled as such. I don’t forsee any major clipping issues, but maybe a slight case of hover hand for the couple lounge pose. For the pose that has one sim sitting in the chair and the other on the floor, that one’s intended to be posed in the nude -- but if you don’t want to that is totally fine! Some shorts or w/e would be fine but if that sim wears pants, the hands may clip into them.

*I am including the file to this because I can not find the file anywhere else (lostcc, s4s). I found the reblogged post, but the original post and the link is gone from S4S. And there’s no TOU and they’ve been inactive for a couple of years; obviously not taking credit for it. I’ll take it out if they ask me to. (Which is why I also have an alternative pose w/o it!)

I actually wasn’t planning on doing anything for V-Day, but then OC Kiss week came up but I’m working on a HUGE story thing and I would like to put something out for it this month and there’s NO way of me trying to fit all that in. Then I remembered I made some poses for the Couples Challenge I did last month!

I had enough for me to call it a pack, and lord knows when I was gonna release these... might as well! The husbands are just having a lazy day and all of that (they’re engaged but yknow what I mean lmao).

Notes/Suggestions: There’s not much I can say tbh other than the usual. (may be a little clipping, made it for male sims but don’t let that stop you, etc).

Oh! Yes, I do! The last bed pose (or the bed poses in general) I had the idea of intimacy so, it’s intended for sims to be naked, but if you’re not cool with that, I am totally fine with it, there’s just gonna be some clipping. It’s more of a hanging out kind of deal and it depends on your pair’s relationship. Everyone got some sort of idea of what that means.

(On the flipside of nudity, the beer drinking one doesn’t have to be ‘nude’; that’s just John being who he is, but the foot placement is for modesty... whatever that is lol).

And for the ottoman, you’ll have to use bb.moveobjects.

Somehow? I wanted to do something special for this landmark, but I can't draw and sprites go over like a fart in church. So instead, let's have some fun stats!

(And maybe a playlist. Tomorrow. Or next week. Maybe.)

The most impressive one, of course, would have to be you yourselves. Thanks for being here! Astonishingly... I can hardly believe it... it looks like each and every one of you is a real person. (That might not sound like much, but like 70% of my followers over on my personal blog are actually bots of ill repute. 😜) If you're an artist with Bass or Forte content, I've tried to get you onto the schedule. If I missed your work, my apologies.

General

These stats are as of 12/1/20, with a nice even 500 posts. Of those 500: 8 I'm supposed to delete and haven't yet, 3 are meta but not slated for deletion, and 3 are "not about that bass" (two of Treble, one of Piano). There are 82 of Forte.exe. I need to start posting more Forte.exe, he's only getting a whopping 16% total exposure here.

The most frequently used silly tag is for all music-based puns, with 19 posts. As you may guess, most of them are involve dubstep: "drop the bass". Meanwhile, the f-bomb has only been dropped 18 times: "only I didn't say 'fudge'".

Hair

There are 42 posts tagged "hairstyles", and 15 as "human au". There's some overlap between them... I'm inconsistent about the human au tag. Excluding duplicates, they break down like this:

16 are blond

21 are black or brunet

9 are purple

5 unknown

If it was lineart but the artist always uses a certain hair color, I went with that. If it was multi-color, I went with the largest portion (or the mohawk itself, for mohawks). Speaking of styles, there were 11 with long hair, 5 with curly hair, 4 with mohawks, 2 with braids, 1 bald. Most of the short haired Basses have the semi-canonical swept-back style... but not all. For those that are, half have bangs, and half don't.

Friends and Family

We have Mega Man: 115, Proto Man: 90, Roll: 54, which sounds about right. Mega Man is a little artificially inflated, since his tag is also used for the series itself (on the rare occasions I post New Content™). Treble: only 72? Dang. I should reblog more Treble, too.

Out of Zero's 41 posts, 36% are positive interactions, 24% are negative interactions, the rest neutral.

Out of Wily's 39 posts, 28% are positive interactions, 49% are negative interactions, the rest neutral.

A nice trend of happy Wily Bros art (...I don’t think I’ve posted any “cataclysm theory” stuff yet 🤔). And a disturbing trend for Bass and Wily’s dysfunctional father-son relationship. There might be some moderator bias there, but I think it reflects the fan art that’s out there.

Shipping

43 posts are tagged "shippy", which is a modest 8.6% of all posts. I kind of feel like I should post more ship content just because... well... there's so much of it. But I like keeping it restricted to once a month or less for the big three outside of ship weeks. Shipping posts breakdown as such:

That gulf will get wider with time, as I've got about 200 each of BassBlues and BassRock on my spreadsheet, but only ~80 of Rollass. (Rollass shippers get on top of this! Chop chop!) I’ve yet to do any really minor ships yet, partially because I didn’t get to do an “other ships” week, which will be happening next year.

Jordan’s Trope Challenge

Thank you for 1,000 followers on this blog! If you follow my main blog @queen-of-deans-booty then you might have seen this same challenge on there, but I thought it was a good idea to have it for this fandom!

To celebrate 1,000 followers, I want to host a writing challenge that I hope you guys participate in! It will be a trope challenge, and if you’re wondering what a trope is, the definition is below:

A trope is an often used plot device or a common theme you might see pop up frequently (various AUs, bed sharing, pregnancy, etc.).

Below are the rules and the prompts! Thank you again!

Rules:

- choose any character/actor you want from the TVD/TO franchise that you want to write about and send me an ASK (PMs and replies will be ignored) that has your character along with the prompt of your choice. I will allow two people per prompt

- there is no minimum or maximum word count, but if it’s over 500 words, please add a “keep reading” or i will not reblog it

- due date is september 13th

hello my darling angels! i have started a writing challenge because i want to read more of what you write. i’m calling this a challenge because that’s what i’ve read others call it? rules are listed below! all submissions will be read by yours truly and (if they follow the p basic rules) i will post them all on a masterlist! i will reblog them and give you feedback because that’s what should happen regardless and also i love you guys! rules

*no rape/incest/underage sex/etc.

*if you choose to write smut, you must be 18+!!! the characters you’re writing for must be 18+!!

*must be character x reader! you can write for multiple characters, but it still must be a reader insert!

*it’s first come first serve for characters, meaning there are character limits. multiple people can write for the same character, but they are capped. so please message me as soon as you see a character you want to write for!

*only one prompt per fic! (bonus points if you use any of my original prompts lol!) (also prompts can only be used once)

I have officially made it to 500 followers! I’m still in awe, that’s freaking amazing. Thank you guys so, so much for reading and supporting my writing. I love all of you!

To celebrate this milestone, I’ve decided to host a fic challenge. Fic challenges seem to be kinda popular and I think they’re pretty cool so I wanted to host my own! The song challenges are my personal favorite so I wanted to do one.

The rules are pretty simple and I hope y’all participate!

RULES:

1. Must be Supernatural based. Characters/Actors are both acceptable as long as they relate to SPN. 2. Send an ASK to participate and include your top two song choices (incase the first is already taken). I’ll answer publicly so y’all know which songs are taken. Each song can be claimed ONLY ONCE! 3. It can be fluff, angst, anything BUT smut. I try to keep my blog PG-13. 4. It must be a reader insert fic. 5. Must be a stand alone. No SERIES’! 6. Tag me in the A/N and use #Rose500challenge. 7. If the fic is over 1000 words, use the Keep Reading option. 8. Warn accordingly. 9. Fics must be posted by MAY 1st! The Masterlist will be posted by May fifth so any fic posted after May 1st will NOT be added. 10. Fics will be reblogged as they are posted. 11. You can use any number of lyrics in the writing or just base the fic off the context of the song. Either option is fine. 12. Add song name in description so we know which song you’ve based your fic off of.

Okay so, I’m on Spring Break (+ I hit 1.3k!!) and I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, so I’m hosting an AU writing challenge! Don’t be afraid to participate! The list of rules and prompts are under the cut

Rules:

- don’t have to be following me but this is meant to be a celebration for my followers so that sort of defeats the purpose??

- reblog this post to signal boost!

- send an ask with your chosen prompt and your character prompt (any marvel (even the guardians/defenders, but probably more the avengers because they’re more well known) or seb stan character, must be character x reader or ship x reader) (you can also choose a back up prompt in case)

Jordan’s Trope Challenge

We have finally hit 1,000 Followers! I am beyond grateful for this and I can’t help but thank each and every one of you who supports me. I wish I knew all of you personally and for only a few of you, I do.

But thank you, for helping me make this happen because I couldn’t truly have done it without you guys.

So thank you so very much.

So for this challenge, I will be hosting a writing challenge for you lovely and talented writers! I present to you a Trope Challenge.

A trope is an often used plot device or a common theme you might see pop up frequently (various AUs, bed sharing, pregnancy, etc.).

Below the cut, I have made a list of tropes that are very common. Also, the rules have been clearly stated below as well! Happy Writing!

Rules:

1. You don’t have to be following me but It would be much appreciated if you were.

2. Female reader insert only with the characters Dean/Jensen, Sam/Jared, and Castiel/Misha. You can make it a platonic relationship or a romantic one. I am not against anything else, but I think it’s a little easier this way. Of course, you can add as many characters/actors as you want in it but the pairing has to be with the following above.

3. Your fic is your fic. It can be as long or as short as you make it. However, if your fic is over 500 words, I ask that you use a “Keep Reading” because I won’t reblog it if it doesn’t. I will reblog every fic and give feedback to every single one.

4. Your fic can be a one shot or the first part of a series. It makes it easier so that I don’t have to go through multiple parts to get to the trope you decided to write about.

5. Please tag me @queen-of-deans-booty and have the tag (s) #Jordan’sTropeChallenge AND/OR #Jordan’s1kChallenge in the first three tags!

6. Lastly, your fic can be whatever you please to be! Whether that’s Fluff, Angst, Smut, etc. Remember, this is your fic so you can write whatever makes you happy.

Just send me an ASK of the trope you want along with the character/actor you wish to have. Please remember that I am only taking one person per trope. This way, I won’t have a ton of the same fics and people can make it interesting! Also, please provide me with an alternative, just in case the one you want is gone.

I have decided to host another writing challenge to celebrate.

I love me a good romantic comedy (aka the romcom). Love them. I also love some good fluff fics, the fluffier the better. I decided to combine the two and the end result is Mimi’s RomCom Fluff Challenge!

Below, you will find a list of some of my favorite romantic comedies, along with quotes from those movies. Your challenge, should you accept it, is to write a fluffy fic including the quote from the movie.

The Rules and Regulations:

Female reader inserts with Sam, Dean, or John Winchester only. No ships (no hate meant, it’s just easier this way).

Your fic can be as many words as you want; I do ask that you please try to make it at least 500 words. Please add a “keep reading” for fics over 500 words. If it doesn’t have a “keep reading” I will not reblog it.

Please make it a one shot or the first part of a series. AU’s are also okay.

Please tag me, @deansdirtylittlesecretsblog and use the hashtag #mimi’s romcom fluff challenge. Make sure the hashtag is in the first 5 tags. If I don’t like it within in 48 hours, I didn’t see it. If that happens, please send me a message.

Please mention somewhere in your author’s notes that it is for @deansdirtylittlesecretsblog RomCom Fluff Challenge and which prompt you had.

The most important rule, it MUST contain fluff. No angst (side-eyes a couple of my writer friends - you know who you are). I want the fluff. It can have smut, but it doesn’t have to. But, there must be fluff.

Fics are due by Saturday, September 2nd. That is about two and a half months. If you can’t make the due date, send me a message to ask for an extension. I won’t be mad or upset. Life happens, I get it. I do ask that if you sign up and can’t finish the fic for whatever reason, please let me know. I may be able to find someone who would like to take your place.
