hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

sorry these kinds of comments have been really pissing me off recently lol

#it's been kinda hard for me to pinpoint WHY exactly these sort of comments feel insulting #but i think it's mostly because it implies my original work is purposefully and inherently derivative of things i have no connection to #while i think being derivative in art is. kinda unavoidable in a sense (and something i'm aware i do consciously and unconsciously)#it feels like a slap in the face when people imply that my work cannot hold its own merit and need to be compared to #something in the popular conscious #and like sometimes people don't know it's original art which is fine #but it also doesn't hurt to ask if it's original instead of just. immediately assuming or comparing it to something else #i know this will only get more difficult as i continue to drift away from fanart and fan works #but i really want to be able to be proud of my original work and i want to share more! because it's a part of me!!#but its really hard when it feels like i'm always going to be compared to things people care about more!!!! The Adventure of Link... my beloved.

I'm playing a fan-made remaster of Zelda 2 and I REALLY like it. Temples are different. Some backtracking involved for heart containers and magic potions (Much like in later zelda games). The world is a lot more fleshed out too.

You'll find it with a quick google search #super super awesome #it's fun being able to revisit this game but in a fresh way #it fixes a lot of the broken things about zelda 2 #you can save your progress in towns #and you spawn in the nearest town when you die instead Hyrule castle #or at the entrance of the temple you are still playing through #this is like... the older link version of another artwork i made of zelda 1 link #the one with watercolour #i was also making this with watercolour but THE PAPER DISENTEGRATED IT WAS SOOOO SAAAADDD #it's the same paper too. idk what's up #so i scanned the paper and drew it over again on the computer #thankfully I have a CSP brush that looks a lot like graphite pencil. I love the traditional look of that brush.

huge shoutout to rejection sensitive dysphoria and the attorney who mentioned that I'd misspelled "forfeiture" in my notes, ensuring that I will literally never misspell that word ever again. Thanks, it's just what I needed. I would have rather been shot, but this works also.
