Gotta cook some of the holy water out but very delicious fried or grilled in just about any sauce you prefer; eaten raw has been known to cause chemical burns to those not experienced with divine meat.

They’re also quite pretty, lovely creatures if a bit strange looking and at times aggressive. I’ve heard you can keep them as pets but they’re probably considered exotic and not easy for first timers. Good to do your research to find one that’s right for you.

My husbands started taking Aikido, and we drop him off and then come back and pick him up after class so we can watch him get tossed around for awhile, and today I was really looking at everyone in this class and I noticed something.

This adult class is big, and mostly black belts. So maybe twenty adults who have been doing this for years. Age-wise they’re everywhere from eighteen to eighty years old, and their bodies vary just as wildly. There are maybe three people in this class that are thin, the rest have weight on them. All different kinds of weight. A couple dudes are that kind of barrel-chested huge that you can picture tossing logs. Curvey ladies and dudes with beer bellies and just all sorts. And they’re all flipping about and rolling and slamming into the mats for two hours like it’s nbd (aside from my husband who looks like he’s in shape, but his stamina is shot so he’s on the white belt end of the dojo panting and getting his ass kicked 😆)

Anyway, it’s just cool, is all. It’s especially cool watching these huge dudes getting flipped by a portly little gray-haired old lady and also an eighteen year old that maybe weighs 120 lbs.

I love how Gerald was trying to keep Shadow from spoiling anything about the future meanwhile literally everything Shadow says and does around Maria is the biggest death flag ever

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

If you live anywhere around Dublin you should come to this show, it’s about wolves, trauma and queerness I think but it’s very metaphorical and you can take it as you like there are many interpretations among the cast already that I love!
