I've painted lots of Linden cuddles, haven't I...?
I don't really plan on changing that. :3
I tried to keep it to non-comic artworks, but in some months comic art just fit best or was my favorite for the month.
Thank you all for helping this year be a fun one!! Here's to another year of Linden cuddles and shenanigans! <3
We were supposed to do a chain of these, but I ended up wanting to post mine by itself... Sorry. ;w;

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers (except me cuz obvs I have already done it). spread the self-love ❤
Welp, took some time in replying to this orz.
I've only written for two fandoms and many years apart, but I'll still try to not make it all mdzs lol
"When the fire plays with you" - a fake dating ruoyao modern AU that is probably going to be about 500k words long, but I'm having lots of fun with it and tbh I'm proud if how it's turning out.
"Trick and treat" - a halloween Boueibu AU with the main 8 as monsters. It grew far bigger than I expected, but it has a special place in my heart (unfinished as it remains orz)
"All men are the same" - a nieyao comedy of errors about JGS trying to get JGY and NMJ together and causing the worst possible impression to both of them. It was my first fic for the fandom and I couldn't have expected how popular it'd become :')
"The color of mendokusai... and some other nice things" - a Boueibu one shot about En babysitting Ryuu and Akoya as they go Christmas shopping. It was an interesting mix of characters to work with.
"Black hole sun" - a different version of the Guanyin temple scene in which JGY lives bc WRH makes an appearance as a fierce corpse created by XY. It's a sort of character study too and one of my fave things.

Ok I watched the Kengan Ashura and Baki crossover movie and I’m talking about it so like, spoilers, duh
I gotta say it, this movie was pretty underwhelming. I was expecting more from the fights and more tension but it just never got there. I wasn’t on the edge of my seat wondering who was gonna win because the one loosing could’ve easily taken control of the situation and the fights had this weirdness to me.
Ohma vs Baki and Raian vs Jack was obvious, we all definitely saw it coming. But Saw Paing vs Kaoru? That felt a bit random, but somehow I preferred their fight to the other two.
So Raian vs Jack, what was the issue? Well it was actually going well with the whole thing of them not stopping till either was dead, but Pickles interruption was unnecessary as hell. It felt like they only did it to show Pickle and not for any other reason.
Ohma vs Baki, same thing with Raian vs Jack, started off good, went downhill when it was interrupted. Honestly had they actually done the 2 vs 2 I would’ve liked the fight, but just having it be left up with a “someday they’ll have their match” and a draw? It’s hella disappointing! To me, the whole interruption and letting the fight be a draw is just so neither fandom gets mad their protagonist lost.
Another issue I have is the characters who appeared. You got the ones you expect, for Kengan Ashura you have Kazuo Yamashita, Kaede, Cosmo, Sekibayashi, Hatsumi Sen, Agito, Adam, and Gaolang. For Baki, you have the expected ones like Orochi, Biscuit, Katsumi, Retsu, and Katou
But then there’s missing characters you’d expect to be there because they usually are. Where’s Kiryu? Wakatsuki Takeshi? (Seriously how do you have Jun and Cosmo but not Takeshi???) Karura? Lihito? Kozue?
And then there’s the fact these characters that didn’t fight didn’t really do anything. You could take them off the movie and it would run pretty much the same, without the explanations of the moves for those who haven’t seen each series.
Muteba and Gaia did nothing, their scenes added nothing to the movie. Yujiro and Kuroki were just there to hype up a potential sequel or continuation. Agito spoke like once and Pickle just interrupted Raian and Jacks fight. Hanafusa and Kureha had one scene and it was just saying they studied together. Julius and Biscuit are just there to compare each others muscles and fight a bit before getting their asses handed for interrupting others. The intro presents all these different characters but you only have to care about 6, and it’s the ones fighting.
Oh, they also had Akoya. I can’t remember anything about him in the movie besides a scene at the end where the most evil death row convicts show up and he just says something about justice. Seriously, it’s just more sequel bait.
Honestly this movie was very boring, a 4/10 in my book. You’re better off watching the respective series and reading fanfics of the crossover idea. Too much sequel bait and not enough done with the big cast they had to choose from.

The Timeless Elegance of Pearl Necklaces
Pearl necklaces have long been synonymous with grace, sophistication, and timeless elegance. These lustrous gems, formed within the depths of the ocean, have captivated hearts and adorned necks for centuries. From ancient royalty to modern fashion icons, pearl necklaces continue to be a cherished accessory in every jewelry collection. In this blog, we will explore the allure of pearl necklaces, their history, types, and tips for choosing the perfect one to complement your style.
A Glimpse into the History of Pearl Necklaces
The history of pearl necklaces dates back thousands of years. Pearls were highly prized in ancient civilizations, with records of their use in Egypt, Persia, and China. Cleopatra, the legendary queen of Egypt, was known for her love of pearls, famously dissolving a pearl in vinegar and drinking it to win a bet with Marc Antony. In Rome, pearls were considered a symbol of wealth and status, often worn by the elite to display their affluence.
During the Renaissance, pearls became the ultimate symbol of elegance and refinement in European courts. They were often used to adorn royal garments and accessories. The allure of pearl necklaces continued through the Victorian era, where they were a popular gift for brides, symbolizing purity and innocence. Today, pearls remain a timeless choice for those seeking a touch of classic elegance.
Types of Pearl Necklaces
Pearl necklaces come in various types, each with its unique characteristics and charm. Here are the most popular types of pearls used in necklaces:
1. Akoya Pearls: Known for their perfectly round shape and high luster, Akoya pearls are primarily cultured in Japan and China. They are typically white or cream-colored, with subtle overtones of rose, silver, or cream. Akoya pearl necklaces are a classic choice for formal occasions and bridal jewelry.
2. Freshwater Pearls: Cultured in freshwater lakes and rivers, these pearls are known for their wide range of shapes, sizes, and colors. Freshwater pearl necklaces are often more affordable than their saltwater counterparts, making them an excellent choice for everyday wear.
3. Tahitian Pearls: These exotic pearls are cultured in the warm waters of French Polynesia. Known for their unique dark colors, Tahitian pearls range from black to gray, with overtones of green, blue, and purple. A Tahitian pearl necklace makes a bold and sophisticated statement.
4. South Sea Pearls: Cultured in the waters of Australia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, South Sea pearls are the largest and most luxurious of all pearls. They are typically white, silver, or golden, with a satin-like luster. South Sea pearl necklaces are a symbol of ultimate luxury and elegance.
Choosing the Perfect Pearl Necklace
When selecting a pearl necklace at bash, consider the following factors to ensure you choose one that suits your style and occasion:
1. Luster: The luster of a pearl refers to its shine and brilliance. Higher luster pearls reflect light beautifully and have a more striking appearance.
2. Size: Pearl sizes range from tiny seed pearls to large, statement-making gems. Smaller pearls are delicate and suitable for everyday wear, while larger pearls are ideal for special occasions.
3. Shape: While round pearls are the most classic and sought-after, other shapes such as oval, baroque, and drop-shaped pearls offer unique and interesting looks.
4. Color: Pearls come in a variety of colors, from classic white and cream to exotic black and golden hues. Choose a color that complements your skin tone and personal style.
5. Length: Pearl necklaces come in various lengths, including choker, princess, matinee, opera, and rope. Consider the neckline of your outfit and the occasion when choosing the length of your necklace.
Caring for Your Pearl Necklace
Pearls are delicate gems that require proper care to maintain their beauty. Here are some tips to keep your pearl necklaces looking their best:
Avoid Contact with Chemicals: Pearls are sensitive to chemicals found in cosmetics, perfumes, and household cleaners. Always apply your makeup and perfume before putting on your pearl necklace.
Store Properly: Store your pearl necklace separately from other jewelry to prevent scratching. Keep them in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box.
Wear Regularly: Pearls benefit from the natural oils in your skin. Wearing your pearl necklace regularly can help maintain its luster.
Clean Gently: Clean your pearl necklace with a soft, damp cloth after each wear to remove any dirt or oils. Avoid using harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.
Conclusion: Embrace Timeless Elegance
A pearl necklace is more than just a piece of jewelry; it's a symbol of timeless elegance and sophistication. Whether you choose classic Akoya pearls, exotic Tahitian pearls, or luxurious South Sea pearls, a pearl necklace is a versatile and cherished addition to any jewelry collection. By understanding the types of pearls and how to care for them, you can enjoy the beauty and elegance of your pearl necklace for years to come. Embrace the allure of pearls and let their timeless charm enhance your style.

Unlocking the Beauty and Mystery of Pearl Stone
Pearls have captivated human imagination for centuries with their lustrous beauty and timeless elegance. One of the most coveted gems in the world, pearl stones hold a special place in both history and modern fashion. In this article, we will explore the fascinating world of pearl stones, from their origin and types to their symbolism and uses.
The Origins of Pearl Stones
Pearl stones have an extraordinary origin story. Unlike other gemstones that are mined from the Earth's depths, pearls are created by living organisms. These exquisite gems are formed within oysters and mollusks in response to an irritant, such as a grain of sand or a parasite, that enters their shells. To protect themselves, these creatures secrete layers of a substance called nacre, which gradually builds up around the irritant, forming a pearl.
Natural vs. Cultured Pearls
Pearls can be broadly categorized into two types: natural and cultured. Natural pearls are incredibly rare and are formed without any human intervention. Cultured pearls, on the other hand, are deliberately cultivated by inserting a nucleus, typically a small bead, into the mollusk to stimulate pearl formation. While natural pearls are prized for their uniqueness, cultured pearls have become more common and accessible.
The Enchanting Varieties of Pearl Stones
Pearl stones come in a stunning array of colors, shapes, and sizes. The most renowned pearls are the classic white or cream-colored ones, but pearls can be found in a spectrum of colors, including pink, black, gold, and even rare blue and green hues. Their shapes range from perfectly round to uniquely baroque, making each pearl distinct and charming.
Types of Pearls
Akoya Pearls: Known for their radiant luster and near-perfect round shape, Akoya pearls are typically white or cream-colored.
Tahitian Pearls: These pearls are cherished for their dramatic dark colors, ranging from deep black to peacock green, and their larger size.
Freshwater Pearls: Renowned for their affordability and variety, freshwater pearls are available in numerous shapes and colors, often with a slightly irregular shape.
South Sea Pearls: These are among the largest and rarest pearls, known for their exquisite luster and size, with colors ranging from white to golden.
The Symbolism of Pearl Stones
Pearls have deep-rooted symbolism in various cultures. They are often associated with purity, wisdom, and wealth. In ancient Rome, pearls were considered the ultimate symbol of luxury and social status. In many Asian cultures, they symbolize purity and spiritual transformation.
Practical Uses of Pearl Stones
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, pearl stones have practical applications as well. They are commonly used in jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Pearls also find their way into cosmetics, adding a touch of luxury to skincare products. Additionally, pearl powder is used in traditional medicine and cosmetics for its purported skin-enhancing properties.
The Enduring Allure of Pearl Stones
In conclusion, pearl stones are not merely gems but captivating treasures with a rich history and versatile uses. Their origin in the depths of the ocean and the unique process that forms them make pearls a true marvel of nature. Whether worn as jewelry or incorporated into skincare routines, pearls continue to be a symbol of timeless beauty and elegance.

It’s high time you move away from that mainstream gold pendants and shift toward some expensive jewels to adorn your neck. We do not doubt that gold jewelry is good, but a change in typical everyday style can make a massive difference to your overall appearance. And that is why we have come up with three pendant ideas that speak of themselves and your elegance. Read the blog till the end and level up your fashion game.
Tumblr media
1.     Pearl Pendants
Let’s begin the change with a pearl pendant. Drop pendants are the definitions of minimalism. Moreover, pearl gives off an aura of elegance and softness. You can opt for a round pearl pendant guarded by small diamonds around it.
You know how extensive pearls can be. You can choose classic white Akoya pearls for your everyday elegant corporate look. Choosing multiple affordable Chinese freshwater pearl pendants over one expensive South Sea pearl pendant would not be a bad idea. You can also choose white, pink, peach, or lavender pearl according to your outfit.
2.     Diamond Pendants
Diamonds are safe choices for pendants. Nothing can go wrong with your chic personality if you choose a diamond solitaire pendant for your everyday or any simple event look but a heightened elegance.
You can find different diamond pendant shapes, each giving away a unique vibe. The round is the most popular and classic choice among all Diamond Pendants. You can also look for cushion cuts, Asscher for vintage style, oval, pear for unique elegance, and marquise and emerald cuts to turn the head. You can also gift your special person a diamond pendant to show how much love you have in you for them.
3.     Ruby Pendants
You can go for a ruby pendant if you want something more elegant and expensive than a South Sea pearl or a round diamond pendant. Ruby is one of the rarest and, of course, expensive stones. Ruby pendants are way costlier than any pearl or diamond pieces.
You can choose a simple ruby solitaire for that everyday rich fashion look. A drop or a square pendant surrounded by diamonds will resonate money in its presence. You can add a drop pearl with multiple ruby stones for your simple yet elite day event.
Conclusion
In short, pendant necklaces are enough to ace your everyday simple fashion. Choose a sterling silver chain necklace to carry your expensive pendants. You can always choose a platinum chain if you think sterling silver or rose gold won’t do justice to your ruby, diamond, or pearls.

About the Boueibu iceberg
@delphoxqueen asked me to explain about my list for the iceberg so here it is. I might update this from time to time with links and stuff if I stumble across the original posts. This is all from what I know so feel free to add new info. Also, spoiler warning for RobiHachi and the Boueibu manga and novels. (This is like a masterpost it’s very long)
1. There’s a theory in tumblr about which decade the series is set in, using data like the friday the 13th calendar in s2 ep11. In HK we got a second number for when the next monthly Pretty Boy Contest was happening and using the one from Love it was theorized that around a decade had passed since then, which ended up being true.
2. The stage play had a few original songs and characters exclusive to it so unless you watched the full performance, you probably weren’t able to witness all of them. One of the characters is called “Robato Deniro”, as romanized in the stage play booklet I own.
3. The nurse and the cafeteria staff from the s1 mobile game appear in the background in around the first half of s2 ep3.
4. S2 had an unfinished manga that was only available online and was never released on physical format; it was centered around the defense club and sometimes the conquest club and Beppu brothers. All that’s left from what I know are the scans linked on magicalgirlsandcerulean’s blog.
5. This isn’t that obscure because it’s talked about in the anime, but I’m mentioning it because I think many people dropped it before the ova, where right at the beginning it is revealed that the alien that resucitated Mr. Tawarayama twice was, as described by Io, a “mulberry-colored naked mole rat-looking thing”, and was nicknamed “Moley-san” by Yumoto. At least in the anime, we had never heard before of who this was and it never appeared on screen nor was mentioned again.
6. In HK ep8, Karurusu promises the knights to grant a wish if they show him how earthlings spend summer. Kyoutarou reveals at the end of the episode that he wished that summer lasted one more day so he could spend it doing nothing, which prompts Ichiro to theorize that it’s the 32nd of august, and the next day is the second 1st of september.
7. The stage play was was held from march 10th to 13rd, of which the latter is Ryuu’s birthday. There’s an additional recording of a small celebration with cake focused on Ryuu and Io.
8. Atsushi mentions his older sister in the flashback at the beginning of s1 ep4, but she never appears or is mentioned again.
9. There’s a few posts on tumblr theorizing about what happened to the Hakone parents since Yumoto only says in s2 ep3 that according to Gora, “they are busy with their hot springs tour”. En mentions that it’s a bit suspicious, but it’s all the information we have from the anime. Posts talk about the parents perhaps passing away from an accident or an illness, thus the reason why Gora was so worried about Yumoto’s cold in s1 ep10, but from another post I think it’s implied in the second novel that they actually left their home when Yumoto was still a toddler.
10. It’s no secret that the surnames of the characters are all real onsens in Japan that even the seiyuus have visited, but apparently the Arima onsen has two different kinds of water, “kinsen (gold hot spring)” and “ginsen (silver hot spring)”, with different properties each, and the Kusatsu onsen water also has certain properties, both that were used to build the characters. Additionally, Ryuu’s favorite food are Sato Nishiki cherries, which are grown in the same prefecture, Yamagata, as his onsen, Zaou.
11. The press club lose relevance after s1, with only Kinosaki and Tazawa reappearing briefly in s2 ep2 to interview the Beppu twins after they arrive at the school. Tazawa doesn’t even have lines. Hireashi is mentioned by Zundar in ep11.
12. What the heck
Tumblr media Tumblr media
13. Exclusively in the manga we see that Arima met Kinshiro and Atsushi when they were little and they were good friends, but when they met again as adults, Kinshiro seemingly didn’t remember Arima. Atsushi, however, stated that Kinshiro’s talent is remembering people’s faces and names, so Arima wonders if he’s just trying to distance himself from him. He also explains to Akoya that he follows Kinshiro and obeys him because as a child, he was fascinated by his radiant smile. This is never talked about in the anime.
14. Like the previous point, the anime never shows Akoya being bullied, at most just a slight dislike of his full name, but the manga shows that he was made fun of for it and how he actually hates his surname, to the point of introducing himself formally to the president and vicepresident of the student council as “Holy Angel Akoya”.
15, 16, 17, 19. Batonama lives were the livestreams done through the franchise by the defense club seiyuus on youtube and niconico. They’re all on youtube, without any kind of translation.
Love-ko is a girl with a shell bikini drawn on a piece of cardboard that was used as a girlfriend in the Batonama Love! lives, acted by the seiyuus themselves.
RobiHachi has one episode full of official Boueibu artwork and a parody of the series too, a Love-ko doll appears, and Wombat appears as well, named “The Don”. It received an english dub, so for a bit, people were excited that Wombat was going to speak in english too. Also, various mechas appear in both Boueibu and RobiHachi.
18. The director of Fairy Ranmaru (Masakazu Hishida if I’m not wrong) revealed in an interview that he was inspired by Boueibu and aimed to make a show like that.
20, 21. The website super-groupies.com has results for defense and conquest club lingerie sets, dc and VEPPer tote bags, the Beppus’ scarf rings, dc bath sets and the pumps magicalgirlsandcerulean mentioned. I’ve found the s1 Loveracelets and Caerula Adamas’ ring on different sites, the True Loveracelets on TheChara’s twitter and the Happybraces (apparently called “Hapibure”) on broccoli.co.jp but I’m not sure where exactly they were all announced and sold, so I’ll just drop that.
22, 33. Boueibu was originally pretty much a copy of Sailor Moon, I think they were all going to be called “Lackluster Moon” and that stuff and be literally Sailor Moon genderbent. They were all different from color palettes to physical features (except Yumoto’s), and Ryuu was a shota, even smaller than Yumoto. Their names were also very reminiscent of the five Sailor Senshis’. Even if they made it more original, the show is still clearly inspired by Sailor Moon (just look at Caerula Adamas lol) and Pretty Cure. It has also referenced, very blatantly, animes like Doraemon, Detective Conan, Aikatsu and even Vocaloid, when Kyoutarou tries to guess what Karurusu is saying with ““Just Google It, Asshole”?” in ep1.
23. Wombat’s real name and the name of his planet sound like gibberish to the earthlings and ends up being named after the Earth animal, but Zundar, Dadacha, Karurusu and Furanui all have original names. And I think Hireashi means “goldfish”?
24. If you google “zundar technology”, it’s actually a company in Shanghai, China. Aren’t Wombat and Zundar always talking about “advanced alien technology”?
25. Zundar and Dadacha are siblings, so are Karurusu and Furanui, and so are their father King Kamopapa and their uncle minister Wao, but neither are the same species and, except the first two, not even the same color. But they are supposedly related because they share birthmarks or something like that...
26. Everyone who’s in this fandom knows about the pixel blur and voice pitch censor from s1, but I’ve added it anyway because it’s so rare for mahou shoujo and shounen animes to explain why the heroes aren’t recognized when transformed.
27. A good while of s2 ep11 is spent discussing Zundar’s ex-wife and his problems to give child support. Naturally, he gets mad at this.
28. “Money doesn’t betray” (s1 ep6) and “The despair hidden behind your smile that comes from not being understood” (s3 ep11) are sentences that came out of nowhere and implied that the people they were said by (Io) or about (Taiju) respectively had some kind of angst going on but were never explained at all. They’re famous for just that.
29. The Beppu twins’ house in Andromeda shown in flashbacks had strange green circles that apparently are from another anime I don’t know but honestly I didn’t get it very well... It was revealed on a tweet from Takamatsu.
30. Alien language mostly appeared in s2 due to the many flashbacks of Aki and Haru in Andromeda, but in Boueibu s1, it appears on the Zundar Needle before it is shot on the human. It appears a lot through RobiHachi as well, due to being a story about travelling through space. There might be an alphabetical chart somewhere, but I can’t assure it exists, I might even have dreamed it.
31. Hikaru Midorikawa as the melon monster, Kousuke Toriumi as the bishounen monster, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as the kotatsu and panda monsters and Takuya Eguchi as the remote controller monster in s1 and 2, before going on to voice the main cast in HK. Keisuke Koumoto voiced Hatchi Kita in RobiHachi as well as Akihiko in Boueibu, and the characters look similar.
A new addition is that so far Boueibu is the only anime I’ve seen where children weren’t voiced by female seiyuus, but by actual children. Personally, it’s charming and makes it so much more realistic, specifically since no women appear in the franchise at all either (not counting Protag-chan in the game).
32. Speaking of seiyuus, Can I Destroy The Earth? had a dub shown in ep11/12 (?) that made Gora the villain that wanted Earth to stay the same and not progress, against the monsters that supposedly wanted to bring good things to earthlings. Aki and Haru quickly dismissed this dub as fake. (I made a mistake in the title in the previous post btw)
34. As seen in the glossary in the Boueibu Mook (I think, but might not be the mook), Caerula Adamas’ speeches are based on an old japanese detergent commercial that went “Gold, silver, pearl, gift”.
35. In the manga there’s a short parody of the first chapter of Sailor Moon with “Pretty Boy Guardian Gakuran Akoya”. The conquest club manga was released before the anime, so I remember reading somewhere that a fake website appeared for the Gakuran Akoya manga, before turning into the conquest club manga website in the day of its release.
36. Cgi was used a few times in the anime: s2 ep10 for a short sequence of the defense club on a rollercoaster and the carousel monster, ep11 for a cenital shot of the Battle Lovers singing, and HK ep12 for the Honyalaland soldiers and the Wao mecha.
37. The toothbrush incident in s1 ep7. (It’s definitely well-known but it’s so weird lol)
38. “We hope we can see each other again someday!” Something along those lines was the last text to appear in the last episode of HK, implying a s2. We all know how that went.

Got another long one. X3
PREVIOUS (Jamie and Cody interlude) NEXT (Not yet)
~~~~~~
Randy let out a huge yawn. Lying on a bed unfolded from the guest room couch, he cracked open an eye to see Akoya sleeping soundly beside him. For a bit he just lay still, letting the previous day's events fizzle back into his mind as he woke.
The room had this bed that they were sleeping on, as well as a smaller bed meant for a single person. Lav could've slept there, but for tonight she'd wanted to stick close to her parents. So, the assortment of Lindens lay together all on this fold-out bed.
Aside from the bed and couch, there was a table with a couple of small armchairs set up in a cozy corner of the room.
Randy had to admit, these two (well, probably mostly Cody) really knew how to make guests feel comfortable.
After a bit, he rolled over onto his back, groaning as his body ached.
You 'kay?
The man turned to his wife. Her eyes were blinking to alertness, clearly having just woken up.
Randy smiled at her and stretched his arms. Yeah, I'm fine. Just achy. I wonder if it's from the flight here. We're not exactly used to flying... He stopped himself from saying the next bit out loud. ~~in that way.~~
A second later, he felt a rush of relief that he'd not spoken aloud, as a light rap on the door snapped him fully awake.
Hello? It's Jamie.
Midas' head jolted up at the noise and he looked around frantically. Lavender came to attention, startled awake by the sudden activity, and Momo hopped to her feet, her eyes instantly alight with a burning fury.
Akoya gently shushed and stroked her twin children's pelts. Shhhh, shh shh. It's okay guys.
Akoya sat up, wincing as her own body protested with its own aches.
After a brief psychic check in with his family, Randy shouted to the door. You can come in. We're decent. He looked at his family's sleep-ruffled heads. Well, as decent as we were last night.
For a moment, there was silence. Then the doorknob turned and the door opened.
The red-haired women entered, a small plate with a couple donuts stacked onto it in her hand.
Jamie appeared to be in a much more relaxed state, wearing a loose sleeved shirt and her hair brushed smooth and simmering--a far cry from the windswept mess it had been when she'd left them last night.
Her eyes had a rejuvenated shine to them as she carefully waved the plate. I brought a peace offering. I thought the babies might like to try them, if they've never had donuts before.
Randy looked at his twin children and felt his heart sink. Both had their eyes fixed on their host, Momo growling as Akoya held her down, while Midas' pelt was poofed to twice it's regular size.
Jamie clearly saw the warnings as well, and stretched to place the plate on the foot of the bed without getting any closer.
But she didn't leave. She stood back, her piercing blue eyes seemingly mulling over some thought. Eventually she gave a sharp sigh. I wanted to apologize again for yesterday. It wasn't right for me to demand that of you, and it ended up scaring the little ones. And... Persim? That's your name, yeah?
The orange Mew nodded, his ears folded back uncertainly.
Jamie gave a small smile, looking at the Linden parents. I'm truly sorry for what I caused you all to go through. I... never would've expected you guys had Mews in there of all things... Let alone babies... Suddenly her eyes grew distant. Although, funny enough, Cody used to keep Pari in a bag like that. Willingly, of course.
There you go!
The adults all looked at Lav, who was holding a portion of donut. She was smiling at her little brother, who had a bit in his own hands and was tentatively licking it. His expression was conflicted, apparently torn between the enjoyment of this new sweet and the fear over the strange human smiling warmly at him.
Momo, her attention drawn to Midas as well, sniffed curiously at the bite in his hands.
Here you go, Momo. You try it too! The purple haired girl handed Momo a bite as well. But as Randy expected, her first reaction was to squish her fingers into the sweet glaze.
Akoya rolled her eyes in amusement. Hhh. That's our Momo. New food always means bath time.
The peach-colored puffball looked up at her mother and lifted her little sticky hands up to her. (Baff!)
Jamie gave a light chuckle, her eyes shining. She's a messy one, huh? At least she seems to like being bathed.
(Wan baff!)
Finish your donut first, Momo. We're not gonna bathe you just for you to get messy again! Akoya poked at the sweet lump Momo had left on the bedsheet. The little Mew scooped it up and licked it
(So are they yours, Persim?)
Perzi snapped his attention from the babies up to Jamie, startled. (U-Uh, no, not those two. Rosemary is though!)
Jamie's eyes glimmered humorously. (I take it she's the one who gave me my newest scar?) Persim lowered his head, his ears back and giving off a wave of embarrassment. The red-haired woman waved her hand dismissively. (Don't worry about it, really! Young Pokemon don't always know how to handle new locations or people. I totally understand. If biting me helps her adjust, she can keep doing it. It didn't exactly do much damage. Momo can too, if that's what it takes)
Momo lifted her head questioningly, but Randy placed his hand on her back in case she tried anything. I'd rather they learn to keep their teeth to themselves, Jamie.
Jamie nodded. I'm sure they will someday. Then, she stood up straight, as if punctuating their discussion. Now, I'm sure you all have business you'd like to do. I'll leave you to it.
She gave them a curt nod, and turned to leave the room.
Jamie, hold on a moment, please. The short woman turned to him, eyes shimmering with curiosity. Is Cody up? We... have something else important we need to tell you both, but we'd rather do it all at once.
Jamie narrowed her eyes. No, he's still asleep... I could wake him.
Randy and Akoya looked at each other once more. It's... probably better if you let him wake up on his own... He really shouldn't be half asleep for this....
~~~~~~
Later, the Lindens and Rennards gathered together in the living room.
Cody let out a yawn. I hear you have something to tell us? He seemed tired still, and Randy couldn't help wondering if Jamie had woken him after all.
One more time, the two parents met eyes before turning seriously back to their two hosts.
Pari suggested we tell you this, but... Nobody else can know, alright?
We are...
Not actually humans...
Before the others could respond, Randy transformed. With a hard look, Akoya followed suit.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Have... have you not seen Nico? I'm... a Mewtwo... like him.
Jamie eyed Lavender in absolute curiosity, crossing her arms before speaking.
We've... never actually met Nico... The Lindens all looked at her in surprise. Jovie talks about him, but he keeps to himself, and she's never told us what he is. Is that... like... Mew number two?
The Linden parents looked at each other.
Uh... We weren't expecting to have to explain Mewtwos...
They're...
Uh...
Well, there's only two, that we know of... Nico, and Lavender.
Both of them were experiments, created by humans, uh... messing with Mew DNA...
Cody appeared thoughtful, his expression soon turning soft. It's no wonder you want to reconnect with him, if he's the other of your kind...
Jamie, meanwhile, had paled a bit, and her eyes seemed distant. Cody looked down at her, his brows creasing in worry. Jamie? You okay?
Her gaze snapped up to him briefly before fixing back onto the Lindens. She breathed in sharply. Yeah, yeah... Just... trying to take it all in...
Randy looked at the two humans, bowing his head. We're sorry for this... oddness...
Hey, it's nice to know there are more Mews out there! Cody gave them a warm smile. Let alone a family of them! He looked at Pari, who met his eyes before nuzzling his face. She settled on his shoulder, purring as he rubbed her cheek fondly. ...I always thought Pari was one of the last, if not THE last, until I met Jovie... As far as I'm concerned, you're welcome to stay as long as you need to!
Randy smiled at him in thanks, but flicked his ear as Akoya spoke beside him, a hint of the venom from the previous day seeping into her tone.
What about you, Jamie? Are you still open to us staying?
The red-head snapped to attention, having once again lost focus on their discussion. Er--Y-yeah, yes, of course...
Randy felt a wave of uncertainty at her response, and could tell that Akoya felt the same. But nonetheless, he smiled at her. Thank you both very much! He transformed back to his human form. We'll do our best to not cause trouble... As much as the kits will allow, anyway.
Jamie looked toward Persim and the kittens, Lav having joined them as well. She turned back to Randy and smiled, though she didn't speak, and he noticed she still seemed distracted.
Cody gave them one more wide grin. It'll be a pleasure to get to know your little family!

Pari complimented Akoya specifically because she wasn't expecting to see a blue Mew, lol.

Yoru gets in a fight
Another entry on Yoru’s quest to get rid of her bird legs, this time featuring Floyd! I did some art too as a TL;DR, so uhhh, here’s a short summary of the story.
Tumblr media
Full story below the cut!
Yoru checked her bag again to double check and make sure she had everything she’d need. She’d finally found a possible solution to her ever unchanging bird legs, some of the ingredients however were difficult to get, so off to the lake she went.
She hoped she wouldn’t see anyone on the way, it was the first time she’d worn a bathing suit since childhood and wasn’t comfortable with anyone seeing her in so few clothes. More than anything though, she hoped she would be able to swim well enough to find everything she needed. A lot of the supplies on her list grew at the bottom of the lake, and finding the so called giant squid probably wasn’t going to be easy either.
She walked into the water, and began to wade out to where the bottom seemingly dropped out to the unknown, stopping for a moment to take the potion that would allow her to breathe underwater. She dived, wishing that she could have worn flippers for her feet, talons didn’t help much for swimming.
Before long, she spotted the first item on her list. The Black Akoya. The pearls they produced were said to have anti venomous and restorative properties if crushed together with Mandrake, so she’d definitely need them. She settled down on the lake bed and began to crack open the oysters with the tools she’d strapped to her wrists.
A shadow passed over her “Hmmm what’s a bird doing down in the lake?”
“Huh?” She looked for the voice and saw Floyd, lazily swimming about above and around her.
“Don’t birds belong in the sky? Why are you trying to be a little fishy?”
“Oh, you again. I need a few things. Can you help me find them?” She looked away and continued to work on cracking open the oysters, putting every pearl she found in the pouches she had on her legs.
“Hmmmm…. I don’t wanna. That sounds boring. Bye Fugu-chan” He waved and swam away.
“Very helpful” Yoru muttered, still cracking open oysters.
After she’d gathered enough she continued on to the next things on her list, slowly filling the pouches around her legs. She made her way deeper and deeper into the lake gathering supplies, occasionally waving Floyd away, since he seemed to find it interesting to bother her but still refused to help.
“You sure this is a good idea Fugu-chan? You swim really slow”
“I’m aware” She glared at him, silently cursing her feet yet again.
“What are you going to do if you meet the giant squid?” He swam circles around her.
“I’ll be fine, I came prepared” She replied and showed him the knife she had strapped to her back.
“.............ahahahahhahahahah you brought a tiny knife to fight a sea monster? Why not just tell me you wanted to die in this lake, I’m sure we could have made an arrangement” He smiled at her, a menacing glint in his eye.
“Ha ha” She rolled her eyes and swam away from the eel, where he was still rolling around laughing.
“You know there’s no way you can swim fast enough to get away if it sees you” He’d swam up behind her in an instant, and lazily swam circles around her, grinning all the while.
“I’m aware. I’ll figure it out, leave me alone” She was starting to get annoyed, she didn’t need the constant reminders that she wasn’t suited to swim and that she was too slow. She knew.
She swam deeper into the lake yet, searching for a plant that only grew near the very bottom, Floyd continually circling, just watching her.
“Can’t you get this stuff from the Seahorse?”
“Sam asks too many questions, it’s easier to just get it myself”
“Is it really though? You’ve already been down here hours you’re going to be prune by the time you’re done...assuming you aren’t eaten” he teased.
“Just leave me alone, Floyd, I don’t want to listen to you anymore”
“Fine, don’t come crying to me when you get eaten by the giant squid” He gave her one last look and finally swam away. Yoru rubbed her eyes, trying to shake the taunts out of her head. She still had to find those plants, and if she was lucky, the giant squid. She needed its venom.
She ventured deeper and deeper into the lake collecting what she could where she could, and thankfully she hadn’t been bothered by Floyd so was able to gather things more quickly. She’d started seeing moving shadows but assumed her eyes were playing tricks on her, it was already so dark that rippling shadows didn’t make any sense. The clouds must have shifted to cover the moon so what little light she had was covered. Deeper and deeper she went, hoping the clouds would shift back to give her just a little bit more light to see by.
Something shot out of the darkness and grabbed her leg trying to pull her down towards the very bottom of the lake. Turns out it wasn’t the clouds shifting after all, she was being stalked by the giant squid and it had decided it was time to feast. But, she came prepared for this, readied her knife and began hacking at the tentacle that was wrapped around her leg. She used the talons on her other leg to fully separate the tentacle from squid and began swimming away, but Floyd was right. She was too slow. Another tentacle shot out of the dark and wrapped itself around her waist, trying to drag her back down.
“You’re making this too easy you fucking fish” she grunted, grabbing the tentacle between both feet and cleanly slicing it in half with the knife. A third tentacle shot out from the darkness while she was still grappling with the second, this one aimed at her face.
“I told you Fugu-chan, you’re too slow” Floyd appeared out of the darkness, grabbed her and swam away at top speed, the tentacles of the giant squid unable to keep up with the sudden acceleration.
He sped towards the shore that Yoru had entered the water at and finally let go of her when she could stand and reach the bottom comfortably.
“You really shouldn’t play with the giant squid, Fugu-chan. You’ll probably die next time”
She smiled, pulling the tentacle she still held in her feet out of the water to show him
“I won’t need to, I got what I came for”.

For CH/JJBA Basic info: straight female, 5'4, Scorpio! If it matters my mbdi is debater, which I think is accurate. I'm a bit curvy/soft and I have really long wavy hair and glasses. Now for fun stuff! I'm a split between being very hyperactive (almost like a puppy lmao) or very quiet (not shy, but more indifferent. I've been told I'm intimidating) I'm into polyrelationships so the more boys the merrier. I like hiking and sports when I'm with people but don't do it by myself cause it's boring. 1
HERE’S UR FOOD QUEEN. also tumblr got me fucked up w no CH gifs :(
Cute Earth High Defense Club Love (Season One) V1
Tumblr media
#1 is…Atsushi!
Tumblr media
He’s the most normal out of all the characters, to be honest
When he sees you, it’s nothing spectacularity radiant, per se
There’s a pretty girl in his school! cool!
The strangest part is that it’s an all-boys school, so naturally, he’s confused
Through a series of plot shenanigans, you’re there as an exchange student
And he’s been told he has to help you get settled!!
He introduces you to the Earth Defense Club, and slowly you two grow acclimated with each other
While you’re friendly to everyone else, there’s something different between you and him
It’s chemistry, and even Ryuu wouldn’t dare poke it
One afternoon, someone asks you out via love letter, all the extra stuff
And you turn them down as politely as you can
But thanks to the indifference, the boy gets offended
He turns into a letter-shaped monster, and the Battle Lovers have to step in
Atsushi is both appalled and terrified
Did the monster hurt you??
Why did the monster appear around you?
Was it something to do with you?
He spends half of the battle just covering you
And once the monster starts spewing slander, Atsushi is having none of it.
Whatever the monster says, Atsushi refutes, defending you until the rest of the battle is at a standstill and he’s just bickering with the monster.
Eventually, Atsushi practically makes the monster choke on respect women juice, and on behalf of the passed out student, Atsushi begins apologising non-stop to you
You’re confused as hell
The internet-famous Battle Lovers know you??
All you can see is the blurred out faces, and the blue one, the self-declared Piercing Prince, Epinard, seems to be constantly hanging over you
And honestly
He’s a cutie
This results in a sailor moon-esque situation
Where you have a crush on Epinard, Atsushi has a crush on you, and he’s miserable upon realising what he’s done
Does he reveal that he’s Epinard???
Honestly, probably not on purpose
I can absolutely see them talking about it and he’s like ‘do i always have to yell out im Epindard’ and he turns and sees you
And you’re like ‘????? excuse me???’
Which results in more shenanigans
#2 is…Yumoto!
Tumblr media
babey boye
He falls for the flirting every time
He reciprocates as best as he can, but for the most part, it’s just him being soft
He hugs you so much omfg
It gives Wombat a break, and though you don’t know he’s a talking wombat, he’s all for you being there
What’s interesting is that he’s telling everyone he’s gonna marry you
And since most of the ppl in the school are bros, no one’s told you
Which gets awkward
Because he’s 200% told you that he loves you
But you take it as ‘:D! I love platonic love between my Friends! :D!’
So it becomes a Situation that everyone gets second-hand embarrassment from
Yumoto has told his brother that he’s gonna marry you and you’d be the bathhouse’s Okami
But you’re thrown for a loop when Gora asks you when you and Yumoto started dating
And you’re like ‘??????’
This results in a brief but stern conversation between Gora and Yumoto
And Yumoto feels guilty, of course
But you’re so sweet! And you flirt with him!! Doesn’t that mean you like him??
It’s a bit of a wakeup call, but he’s still only got two brain cells
You gotta cut him some slack
For about a day, he chills out, though he’s melancholy
After that he’s back to being oblivious and sweet
#3 is…Kinshiro!
Tumblr media
Did someone say ‘emotionally constipated teenager who’s in a rivalry with his childhood best friend for the girl they like but he has no idea how to approach her due to the fact stated above (he is emotionally constipated)’???
no????
Ok that’s valid
But you want a polyamorous relationship???
He and Atsushi are gonna be your best bet.
This boye is completely lost when it comes to wooing you
He thinks you’re graceful in a quiet sense
And while you’re a flirt and a meme lord, you’re also yourself
Ibushi notices almost off the bat
And he’s like ‘my guy, my dude...my cousin??? Fr???’
Kinshiro is crazy confused and embarrassed
He’s always considered himself to have tunnel vision
But then you pass by and he gets a whiff of your shampoo and
Oh no
he gets kinda lightheaded and blushy but wipes it away fast
Whenever you pop by to say hi to Ibushi he completely freezes
Like he just stops moving altogether
 It’s something you, Ibushi, and Akoya have noticed
Y’all exchange glances every time he freezes while sipping tea
The MOMENT he realises you like Epinard he gets lowkey pissed
 Do you seriously like that barbaric, stupid Battle Lover??
He’s like ‘I’m elite, graceful, rich. I’m the better choice :(‘
Make him drink just a bit of respect women juice
But he’ll be very, very soft for you
And after he finds out about Atsushi being Epinard and Atsushi likes you??
Well, it’s two birds with one stone
He’ll do his best to hint that he likes you, but Akoya and Ibushi have to help him along
Especially Ibushi, since he’s your cousin
Get ready for a flood of thoughtful but expensive gifts
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure V2

(Note: If you want a poly relationship, all three of these lads have convenient best friends...👀)
#1 is…Josuke!!
Tumblr media
Mans is a himbo (refer to chat)
Sure he’s got like, one brain cell, but it’s dedicated to you!!
He’s a bit of a flirt, too, so be ready to fend off the fangirls
Since fangirls in the 90’s were chiller than ones in, say, the 80’s, they mostly respect that he’s got a girlfriend
But the moment one of them tries to hurt a hair on your head, it’s game over
Now
The thing about it is that you get shy
But your shy is looking scary as hell
So all they see is a glare that would make the devil run, and they bail
Josuke relates to your fear of bugs!!
He’s not fond of turtles, so you guys can have each other’s back!!
If you want to draw him something, he can and will frame it in the best frame he can convince Joseph to buy
Is it gold foil?? Maybe
Before y’all get together, he pines like no other
He’ll start frequenting places you go to just because he wants to see you
And he doesn’t think it’s creepy but gets worried that you will
But he thinks you’re incredible
It’s something makes him short circuit a bit
You: :)
Josuke: Now Playing: Beautiful Girl (Alternate Version) [Tempo Track] - Jimmie Thompson, Gene Kelly & Lennie Hayton (Singin’ In The Rain) (1952)
#2 is…Johnny!
Tumblr media
Southern boye drank his respect women juice after he got shot
And once he sees you???
He CHUGS it
First off this is like the late 1880’s so anyone who bathes is probably stellar
So he, too, has the Joestar Blessing of having Beautiful Girl play on repeat
But as soon as you start flirting???
He’s GONE
I mean this in the most literal sense
He’s a good Christian boye (theoretically)
So once you talk about dating him he flushes bright red
He’s aware that you’re just flirting, but oh hmmm
He starts crushing fast
Plus if you don’t judge him or think he’s weaker for being in a wheelchair?
Give him a second he’s trying to find a ring
He might be in a wheelchair but he’s in no way inadequate, if you get what I mean 👀
(who am I kidding, of course you do)
Considering that memes weren’t much of the thing in the 1800’s if you find some, he probably wouldn’t understand them
But he does enjoy when you play the piano
But let’s say there’s a stand attack
And you just bust out knives???
instant boner
#3 is… Joseph!
Tumblr media
Flirt, but times two
Y’all make anyone blush
No one’s safe
And with each other??
It can get foul, fast
Does Lisa Lisa step in??
No, not really
She’s not gonna interfere at Joseph’s chances of getting laid
Plus she approves so!!
Catch him trying to flex while you’re around
Be it him trying to beat Cesar’s ass (and failing) or literally flexing, he wants to impress you
And while he knows that you’re a flirt for the sake of being one, he also gets a bit nervous when you flirt with others
Especially if he hasn’t confessed, actually confessed, yet
Plus, he’s got a special arm 👀
Y’all know what’s up

DATE: July 1st, 9:26pm. LOCATION: The Shopping District. STATUS: Closed for Raven ( @telepcth ).
Her finger gingerly traveled over the many pieces of jewelry laid out before her, feigning interest in the rather mediocre and low-quality accessories. Meanwhile, her attention remained with the collier stored in one of the glass boxes in the back. The pearls seemed authentic to her at first gaze, Blue Akoya Pearls, something she had been itching to get her hands on for the longest time now. Caution was imperative though when dealing with a vendor she didn’t know just yet and so she had been lingering around the booth for a little bit. Mostly, she had been keeping an eye on the vendor and listening in on his conversations with his customers but when she saw a woman trying on several of the rings he had out front she couldn’t help but approaching her.
“I’m sorry, I don’t want to disturb but I saw this ring over there and I think it would be the perfect fit for you.” It was rare that Tessa had anybody around her who shared her interest in these things and Evie usually didn’t even appreciate it when Tess gifted her necklaces or earrings. Therefore, she simply had to use this opportunity to try and match this girl with the perfect stone. “It’s an aquamarine, but the hue is surprisingly blue for it’s kind, so...” When the other woman looked up, Tessa finally realized why she had seemed kind of familiar to her in the first place. Raven Mirsky. The Scarlet Angel’s mind reader. Perfect, of course, she would have to run into her today.
“Sorry, what I meant is that shows it’s rather high quality. You should try it on,” she finished her sentence, forcing the smile back onto her lips and holding out the ring she had picked. It still was a rather immaculate fit for her, after all and Tessa had quickly decided that appearing unfazed would be the best course of action.

#7:鬼神降臨伝 ONI
I enjoy samurai stories. Like any good, proper weeb, the political intrigues of that particular era are rad as hell, but yet I haven’t played many games that explore that world. I discovered Kishin Kourinden ONI entirely by accident: I was browsing through ranked a list of Super Famicon RPGs on a random Japanese website. I read a bit of the blurb the author had written, and downloaded it to play later. Weeks passed. I was going through a second playthrough of Romancing Saga and feeling a bit burnt out, as I had failed to unlock any events I haven’t seen already, and the battles were becoming an absolute slog, so I decided to give ONI a go. Kishin is the 6th (!) game in a long-running series that debuted on the Gameboy, and is the first for the Super Famicom.
Tumblr media
Our story takes place in the Kamakura era of Japan - the relatively peaceful era of the Heian is now over, and in its place the Kamakura bakufu now rule the lands of Yamato. You play as Hokutomaru, an orphan who has been essentially adopted into the ruling family. One day, you and the son of the shogun, Yoritou, are asked to extinguish a youkai that had been stalking about the princesses’ room. She gets kidnapped, as princesses tend to do, so you and Yoritou venture forth to rescue her.
Tumblr media
Plot-wise, ONI isn’t anything original. The first quarter of the game is devoted to rescuing the princess. Each time you clear a dungeon, you’re essentially told “The princess is in another castle!”, - it is lazy writing. but while the main plot is rather formulaic, the individual stories you’ll experience throughout each location are what really makes the game shine. Similar to a Dragon Quest title, each village has its own issues dealing with youkai: and it is up to your scrappy band of samurai to solve them.  Some of these stories are funny. Some are very dark. I remember one very clearly: a family begs you for assistance, as their newborn child has been cursed by a youkai and cannot be roused from slumber. The monster in question appears and taunts the party, gloating that the baby will die unless they can prove that the child that was stolen from the once-human youkai is now living a happy life.
Tumblr media
When she was still alive, she gave birth to a child, but died soon after and turned into a demon. The baby was entrusted to a sleazeball, who sent the child to live in poverty. The woman this youkai cursed was her sister, jealous of the happy life that was denied to her. Soon after, the youkai’s long-lost daughter is revealed to be Akoya, one of our protagonists, and the story ends on a happy note once mother and daughter are briefly reunited. Thankfully!
Tumblr media
For a Super Famicom game that was released when it was, the characterization of your party members is superb. There’s a great chemistry present throughout the story: they bicker, they tease each other, and everyone always has a strong opinion on whatever youkai-related shenanigans occurring at that particular moment, and it’s done in a way that doesn’t feel forced or tiresome to read through, especially compared to say, a Tales Of...title.
There’s a strong theme of “found family” in Kishin. Hokutomaru is adopted into the Minamoto family after being orphaned as a child; Akoya receives an offer to join the family she saves after it is revealed that she is their blood, but rejects them in favor of the children living in the slums of her home city who she feels a deep sense of responsibility for.. Hourin, a middle-aged monk who joins your team early in the game, gives up a life of drunken laziness in order to save a little girl who looks up to him. As someone who isn’t close with his blood family, I know how important a found one can be, so the game made me quite emotional at points, so while the main plot isn’t anything special, the characterization is incredibly strong.
Tumblr media
The battle system is, again, fairly standard, but it does a few things worth noting: once you acquire certain weapons, each character is able to transform into an oni: giving up the ability to cast magic spells in exchange for increased physical damage. The design of each oni is wonderfully gaudy and colorful, and as there are monsters who are vulnerable to oni and not much else, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to use them. While switching between forms costs you a turn, you can choose to begin battle in either monster or human status by changing an option in the settings menu. Convenient!
Characters do not learn magic by leveling up, but instead learn abilities from various gods that you meet throughout Japan. They’re all based on traditional mythology, and you’ll need to complete side-quests to receive their aid. Some of them are entirely missable, so I strongly recommend using a guide. I accidentally locked myself out of a few just in this playthrough, which is a major bummer!
Tumblr media
Furthermore, side-quests seem to open up at random - the game provides very few hints as to what is out there, so unless you’re following a guide, you’ll have to visit each area multiples times after each major plot point in order to collect them all. Wack. That said, it is really fun once you discover something unexpected: you’re often given a choice or two, so make sure you save very often! The game has major issues with balance: at certain points of the game, you’re going to have to grind. A lot. Like, at least for 2 hours or so. Early on in the game, you’ll be locked into a dungeon with no save-point, so you’re utterly screwed if you don’t bother to level up. The game provides a recover point, but there was no warning that you wouldn’t be able to leave the area until you clear it. I wound up grinding for around an hour and a half, in one long session. Decidedly unfun.
Tumblr media
On top of the unbalanced pacing, the encounter rate in this game is absolutely wretched, even for its time. I am a massive fan of RPGs from this era. I imagine I have way more love for them than most people. But Kishin really, really tries my patience at points. You’ll finish a battle, and get into another one three steps later. It’s BAD. This wouldn’t be so terrible if the combat system flowed a bit quicker, but they don’t. The game occasionally likes to throw you into successive dungeons with no stopping point, and these sections feel especially draining. Despite these complaints, I really am enjoying my time with Kishin. Judging from the guide I have been using, I am around 3/4ths of the way through the game, and I intend on clearing it. If you have a lot of patience and love of the genre, I strongly recommend it! There’s several more games that were released after this one, and I look forward to trying them all.

Choosing Pearl Jewelry For Your Wedding
Why Should I Choose Pearl Jewelry For My Wedding? For centuries pearls are already synonymous with purity, sophistication and romance. There is nothing more classic compared to a Bride in a white flowing gown, her neck draped with dazzling ivory pearls. Because pearls come in a very variety of shapes, colors and overtones they're very versatile; allowing them to be a perfect replacement for support nearly all wedding theme. Matching the Wedding Theme One must look into the general theme of the wedding before selecting which pearls to buy. - Traditional Pure white or cream Akoya, Hanadama, South Sea and Freshwater pearl sets would be the classic selection for a conventional wedding. Larger sizes, starting inside 7-8mm range are customary. - Modern / Contemporary Akoyas with rose overtones or White South Sea pearl sets are excellent options for a modern wedding. - Tropical Black Tahitian or Golden South Sea pearl sets are ideal options for an exotic wedding. Choosing Jewelry for that Wedding Party -The Bride As she actually is the star from the ceremony, the Bride should wear the greatest and prettiest pearls. Her pearls should reflect her individuality and personality as well as the wedding theme. This means that she should be liberated to find the pearls that attract her most in color, overtone and size. The amount of a pearl necklace is going to be based on the neckline from the dress she's chosen to utilize. If her dress has a high neckline above the collarbones, a 16 inch choker necklace is best fitting. If the dress includes a moderate neckline slightly below the collarbones, a 17-18 inch necklace is the greatest choice. If she is wearing a gown with a low neckline, the 18-22 inch range is usually recommended. A 32 inch single strand necklace is another wise decision because adaptivity. For example, throughout the ceremony the Bride can double up the length, turning the necklace in to a double strand. After the wedding, she will wear the necklace at its complete to create a fashionable effect. For a modern, contemporary look, pick a White South Sea Pearl Pendant and Earring set. The Bride?s black pearls should also be complimentary and compared to her frame and figure. If she's a petite woman, a smaller necklace and earring set within the 6.5-7.5mm range is suitable. If she actually is of your moderate build, a necklace and earring set in the 7.5-8.5mm range is a wonderful choice. Generally, 7-7.5mm is among the most popular size, because it is neither too big nor too small in appearance. Groom and Groomsmen Although your Groom could possibly be unaware, pearls are appropriate for men in addition to women. A pair of small 5.5-6.5mm pearls can be set into matching cufflinks; perfectly complimenting the Groom?s attire while adding a supplementary touch of elegance. Bridesmaids During the ceremony the Bridesmaids you live extensions from the Brides? own beauty; every one representing the love and friendship she carries with her throughout her life. It is important for their jewelry to reflect the Brides? without overshadowing it. For this reason smaller sizes, shorter lengths or different quality pearls than that of the Brides? have become appropriate. For example, in the event the Bride wears a 7-8mm Akoya pearl set, Bridesmaids must be outfitted having a 6-7mm Freshwater pearl set. If the Bride wears an 8-10mm Tahitian pearl set, the Bridesmaids should wear a 7-8mm Black Akoya pearl set. To especially distinguish your attendant, bestow her with pearls that are slightly bigger, longer or of the different color than that in the other Bridesmaids. This will make her stick out and feel that she actually is extra special for your requirements. Flower Girls As the Flower Girl(s) is often quite young, it really is customary that their jewelry be smaller than that of the Bridesmaids?. A very small pearl size, like 6-6.5mm, is quite appropriate. For necklace length, choose something in the 14-15 inch range. Mothers and Grandmothers As women matures and ages she's complemented best by larger pearls; something starting inside 7-8mm size range. Longer necklace lengths, such as 18-22 inches, are appropriate too. Overall Ultimately, your wedding reception is a reflection in the commitment you and your partner have made to one another. Every aspect in the ceremony should represent this whenever possible. After all, this really is supposed to be a celebration! Good luck!
