2AM THOUGHTS #7: Ahsoka and Obi-Wan teasing Anakin after his first time with Y/N
Anakin walked into the mess hall, smiling. He caught sight of his Padawan and walked to her table to sit with her.
Ahsoka looked up at her Master and grinned teasingly at him. She noticed the small mound of love bites on his neck that were partially hidden by his chest plate and the red scratches on the back of his head that disappeared into his robes.
"Good morning, Romeo." She smirked, looking at his tousled hair.
He rolled his eyes at her, still grinning like an idiot. "Hey, Snips."
"I trust you've had a pleasant evening." She stifled a laugh, looking at his messy ensemble.
"Oh, you have no idea..." He smiled and rested his chin on his hand, replaying last night's scenario over and over again in his head with a goofy smile on his face.
Ahsoka gave him a teasing smile as her cheeks were puffed with her breakfast cereal.
"Hey, what's going on here? You're late-" Obi-Wan began to scold him, but stopped as he noticed Anakin's neck.
"Anakin got laid." Ahsoka said in a singsong tone, smirking at his lovestruck expression.
"Ahsoka!" He said through gritted teeth.
"Don't yap at her, you do a terrible job at hiding the evidence." Obi-Wan smirked and nodded at the purple marks on his neck.
"Turns out they both do." Ahsoka spoke, looking at Y/N as she took slow steps into the room. Well, 'dragging herself' was a better way to put it.
Anakin turned to look at her, his ego inflated by the way she was walking, her hair tousled and her neck littered with purple spots.
"Hey, you." She smiled as she neared the small group, giving his head a quick, loving stroke before sitting down next to him.
"Hey, you." He replied, grinning as he interlocked their fingers underneath the table.
"Ahem."
Both their heads snapped towards their friends, who were looking at them with fond but teasing smiles.
"You kids have fun last night?" Obi-Wan asked, chuckling as Ahsoka snorted and covered her mouth with her hand.
"Shut up, Obi-Wan..." Anakin groaned, hiding his face in his hands.
Ahsoka looked at Y/N and wiggled her eyebrows at her, to which she blushed and giggled lovingly, both at her teasing and at Anakin's shyness.
"You're adorable." She chuckled and pried his hands away from his face, fixing his hair and putting the little curls back in place.
They were most certainly never going to hear the end of it.

hello!!! i rlly love ur blog & i saw ur requests are open— can i request an ahsoka tano x fem! reader where the reader gets hurt in a mission, and ahsoka finds out when she sees her in the medbay and rushes to her bcuz she’s worried and possibly with a soft ending?
it’s alright now
ahsoka tano x fem! reader
a heavy sigh slipped past ahsoka’s burgundy lips, her lengthy fingers coming to softly press down on the temple of her head.
the sound of clone troopers and jedi shuffling around her echoed off each ship awaiting departure. Ahsoka’s own ship was preparing to set off when her com link went off— catching the beyond exhausted togruta’s attention.
her half lidded, hazy blue eyes traveled down to the small device, catching the sight of the repetitive blinking light. her hand removed itself from her face, reaching down and grasping the com- hitting the button on the left side.
A medical clone was shown on the screen, confusion replacing her exhaustion- watching the clone straighten his back upon catching her eye.
“Commander Tano- I was told to com you about Commander L/n.” The clone spoke, immediately catching every ounce of ahsoka’s attention. “what?” she whispered out, eyes flickering away in a tired manner before straightening her own back and completely indulging.
“commander l/n was brought into the infirmary due to heavy wounds and excessive bleeding- she’s stable, but I was told to contact you just incase.” as each word left the clones mouth, ahsoka’s already hazy mind could barley comprehend what was being said- heavy wounds?— excessive bleeding?— were you okay? what did he mean by “stable”?
“send me the coordinates immediately.” she commanded, earning a curt nod before the call ended- leaving nothing but an aching hole in the pit of ahsoka’s chest.
—♡—
the fatigue of her mind and the pure exhaustion tickling every tip of ahsoka’s body rocked her thoughts as her boots met the floor in a repetitive motion- fighting every urge in her form to not sprint to your medical bed- consuming her breaths inside her chest in order to fight her wants.
She ignored the strange glances and stares from the padawans and clones she quickly rushed by- her eyes immediately snapping to the large numbers above a certain medical door. “CN-00678”. your medical numbers.
Ahsoka halted her movements, her outstretched hand pausing its eagernesses to reach for the door handle. her breath hitched upon her big inhale, eyes momentarily closing- absorbing the feeling of the air flowing through her lungs.
furrowing her brows— she embraced herself for what she might see when she pulled open the door to your room.
the creek of the unattended plastic door was the first noise she heard- soon followed by the familiar beeping of a heart monitor. it was in slow, steady rhythms- a sound ahsoka didn’t know she would be so happy to hear.
her ocean blue eyes skidded through the floor of the room, hesitantly looking up once the bottom of the hospital bed came to view.
her eyes slowly trailed up, your blanket coming to view and soon following with your silhouette.
There you sat, upright; book in your hand and staring right at her.
“Ahsoka?”
relief flooded every inch of her body- lungs deflating of stress.
she released the door and rushed to you, ignoring your small giggle as she wrapped her toned arms around your back, stuffing her head in the crook of your neck and inhaling deeply. you hummed, dropping your book and grabbing onto her elbow, smiling into the desperate hug. you could tell she was scared, her body was shaking lightly, her breaths were deep and shaky. you hated seeing her like this- hated it.
“oh, ahsoka. I’m sorry.” you whispered by her ear, hands finding her back and massaging up and down. she didn’t say anything, only absorbing the feeling of being in your presence- in being with you.
her arms tightened their grip around you, squeezing you tightly yet so, so gently, as if you were glass- as if she knew where all your wounds were.
“i’m sorry, ‘soka.” she shifted lightly at your words, still not letting you go— and you wonder what exactly she was told. sometimes doctors seem to overreact and explain things in a way that made it seem as if the situation was much worse than it truly was.
“don’t apologize. don’t.” she whispered into your neck, the vibration of her voice tickling your skin. you nodded surely, smiling softly at her desperate touch on you although she couldn’t see it.
you both stayed like that for a while, soaking in one another’s embrace- holding and loving. You kissed her bare shoulder, lips picking at the peaking skin through the war armor.
“i love you. i’m sorry for worrying you. sometimes these doctors exaggerate things, my love.” you giggled out, but not missing how how she didn’t laugh.
“i… i’m sorry i didn’t come sooner.” your brows furrowed at her words, pushing her off of you to look her in the eyes.
“what? ahsoka, don’t you dare apologize. don’t.” you said sternly, catching her saddened eyes.
“i love you. i’m okay. you’re okay. we,” you motioned around you both to the room around you- to your bandages and to ahsoka’s armor. “we are okay.” you kissed her nose, smiling against her and leaning your forehead against hers- watching her teary eyes blink away the water of fear that has spilled through them.
“i.. i love you too.” she said back, and you wiped a small tear as it slipped down her cheek, kissing the place you swiped it from.
“i love you most.”

Being Ahsoka Tano’s best friend would include
Pairings: Ahsoka Tano x reader
Imagine: being Obi-Wan’s padawan and Ahsoka’s best friend
Warnings: idk, Ahsoka leaving the order (I swear I can’t watch those episodes bc I cry every damn time, not because she’s leaving the order but bc she leaves people who care for her)
A/N I love Ahsoka and it’s a wonder I haven’t written anything for her before, but here I am writing for my fav girl so I hope someone out there will enjoy this <3
Becoming friends as soon as you both met, which was when you were still in training to become a padawan, which means you grew up with each other
You’d study with eachother
Hype eachother up if one of you is feeling sad or stressed, literally just helping eachother with emotions and anything in general
Ahsoka running to you filled with excitement to tell you she’s becoming a padawan and her master will be the one and only Anakin Skywalker
You doing the same to Ahsoka when you found out your master will be the one and only Obi-Wan Kenobi
Gossiping with each other
Getting in trouble together
Pranking people together with Fives, Waxer, Boil and a few others, you tried once to prank Cody, lesson learned you will never prank Cody again, he wasn’t to happy to have his helmet filled with blue and orange glitter (he still can find glitter to this day)
Obi-Wan now has to deal with three children (you, Anakin and Ahsoka) while Cody has to deal with more than five children (You, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, Waxer, Boil…)
Did I mention getting in trouble together
Being another headache for the Jedi council and those who tries to protect you both and those trying to keep you out of trouble
Training your lightsaber skills with each other, being an excellent match because you always end up even because by know you know every move the other will make
Calling each other names that you hate just for the fun of it
If anyone else were to call either you or Ahsoka those names you would both go into protective mood, no one gets to call you two that but you two
Always defending and protecting each other, if it is when you get in trouble with the council or when you fight for example General Grievous doesn’t matter
I hate to write it down but sadly I think I need too after all it is a big part of Ahsoka’s life. When Ahsoka gets accused of the bombing I believe you would 100% side with her, you’re best fiends siblings after all and you always have each others backs. You try to help her prove her innocence but it didn’t go exactly as planned. We all know what happens and so when she decided to leave you were heartbroken, you couldn’t care less about the order you only cared about Ahsoka. You knew it was what she wanted so you let her go but you were still sad over it, and selfishly tried to convince her to stay because you didn’t want to be without her, after all you were practically siblings and grew up with each other. In the end she told you it was for the best and that she didn’t trust the order anymore, she’d always trust you and she did try to keep in contact with you but it was hard with the ongoing war
Then comes the times in the order without Ahsoka, and if I’m being honest I think you would kinda mope around when you thought no one was looking becasue you missed your best friend so much, your bad days become even worse because you didn’t have Ahsoka to cheer you up, but you managed as did Ahsoka who missed you as much as you missed her
I believe Obi-Wan would do his best to comfort you even though he knew as well as you that it would never be the same as Ahsoka comforting you and cheering you up, but he did his best, and that’s all you could of asked for
Anakin and you probably talked about Ahsoka a lot with eachother or avoided the topic all together
However Plo Koon talked to you about Ahsoka all the time
Skip to Ahsoka coming back with Bo-Katan to save Mandalore from Maul (why does autocorrect keep wanting to change his name to Mail), you convinced your master to let you come with Ahsoka, and so a new adventure started for the two of you
Then there’s order 66 and you, Ahsoka and Rex barely escaped
You and Ahsoka stuck together after that never leaving each other sides scared you would lose eachother again let’s not forget you got frequent calls from Rex and Obi-Wan talked to you sometimes through the force (but not much he was in hiding after all and so were you)

How they react when you’re injured please? Thank you!
evil laughter. i woll make a part 2 if asked….
— Obi Wan Kenobi
Poor Obi Wan. First it’s Anakin getting blasted and now it’s you in the medical bay getting patched up. He can’t help it at this point; he immediately assumes the worst. It’s second nature for him to worry about the people he cares about at this point. I don’t think there’s a day where Obi Wan doesn’t worry about something, which is both sad and kinda impressive for the old man (affectionately).
He has a bad habit of holding his breath before he sees you. It just adds to his feeling of being suffocated of hearing you get hurt. Is it melodramatic? A bit. But it just makes his love for you all that blatantly obvious; he literally can’t breathe if you’re not okay
Honestly, I don’t think it depends on the severity of the wound—Obi Wan will worry. He’s seen someone as powerful as his master get killed by a simple stab (although it was with a lightsaber). Obi Wan knows that any wound, regardless of how small or miniscule it can appear, can bring unseen consequences with it. Better safe than sorry is his motto, for anything really.
Constant testing, constant checking. I swear by the time Obi Wan’s done inspecting you himself, he’ll have a PhD.
It’s tough for Obi Wan to conceal his worry. He attempts to mask his worry with frustration towards the situation at hand but it can only convince so many people. You don’t know why, but Obi Wan always lets his professional Jedi mask slip when you’re any type of injured. He can’t ever seem not worried over you and there’s been too many close calls where Yoda raises an eyebrow at Obi Wan’s tenderness towards you.
He vents to Yoda that you shouldn’t be getting hurt and that it’s not fair. But he does it in his own, poised manner of venting. He’s very subtle when he’s venting because he doesn’t like to yell nor complain outright; It’s a quiet, seething type. Maybe there’s some untapped anger deep inside of him sitting about, piling up at the very fact someone had the opening to hurt you.
“This is ridiculous. How can the fleet expect to protect the capital if they can’t even protect them? They’re in the infirmary now and it’s because I was too distracted with droids.”
He’s just feeling too many things. Any anger he feels is stemming directly from the fact he wants to so desperately protect you from everything and anything bad. Don’t hold it against him if he’s moody or in a bad mood. Obi Wan loves you deeply—more than a man of his status should—so the aspect of harm coming to you unsettles him to a disturbing amount. That and mixed with his unresolved emotions towards his master’s death? The way the war has shaped and molded him? :(
Please please please reassure General Kenobi. He needs you to straighten him out so he can work properly.
— Anakin Skywalker (Deftones Liker)
It’s like Anakin adapted Obi Wan’s worrying but then added his little Ani twist to it and now it’s Anakin worrying AND being livid. This man has destroyed and mauled droids for blasting too close to you and I’m pretty sure if he could, he would’ve beat the shit out of the senator who messed with you. I don’t think Anakin has a chill button when it comes to you.
He’s too worried, in fact. He can become overbearing very quickly if you don’t check him. I’m talking Obi Wan’s checks but combine that with constant questioning and no chill at all. Anakin will very quickly overwhelm both the nurses and you with his frequent checking. So much so that you’re not sure if you’re secret relationship will be so secret afterwards (not that it was hidden that much in the first place tbh).
It’s even worse if Anakin can find the person or thing that hurt you. Whoever let Anakin roam free with his lightsaber and no therapy is the TRUE menace to society. Because the DAMAGE he will do if he’s unrestraint, oooh Lordy. I’m not even sure if I can say Anakin won’t kill a man for hurting you. You’re way too precious to him to care about someone else’s well-being, and especially if that person hurt you? Bye. They’re goners.
Obi Wan doesn’t panic, he silently worries. Anakin does panics and probably gets overwhelmed from how much he panics. He makes Ahsoka and Rex worry with him unknowingly with how he paces about. He, like his master, also has a habit of constantly checking your wounds and injuries to reassure himself that it’s not that grave. I honestly think Anakin puts a fairly decent amount of guilt on himself since he feels like he couldn’t protect you despite being such a highly regarded Jedi.
Would cry a little in all honesty. Anakins very emotional and he needs you to tell him to relax and to calm down because I really think Anakin can’t do that himself. He puts so much time, effort and love into your relationship that if you were to leave in any way, I don’t think it’s too far off to say Anakin would be shattered.
Angry venting to Obi Wan and Rex. If he doesn’t vent, he paces and overthinks and scowls. Honestly, at this stage is when Anakin could be really be tempted by the dark side if he’s not reassured your recovery. I think ROTS speaks for itself lol.
Once you’re safe and healthy, the way this man is so relieved and he always reminds you how much he loves you.
— Ahsoka Tano
Old trauma flares up. Ahsoka saw so much as a teenager during the Clone Wars and she’s still seen so much now as a leader for the Rebellion. The fact you’re harmed? What’s she suppose to do? Like her master, Ahsoka feels self pity and guilt at the fact she could not stop blaster fire from hurting you.
Ahsoka was never a crybaby when someone got hurt or died, she only has a faded memory of crying a little when Obi Wan was fatally ‘shot’ by a bounty hunter she doesn’t even remember the name of. So she won’t cry when she hears of your injury. But the way any Force sensitive person could feel her sorrow. I honestly believe Ahsoka’s guilt and deep melancholy would have a domino effect on people.
She’s learned to keep her cool and to be refined like a Jedi in combat because if she’s not, she could end up like him. Ahsoka, both with time and with becoming a leader, has learned to remain calm and quiet during tough times. Her quietness is both for good and bad. Good for others, who assume their leader is not afraid and unmoving at the Empire’s threat. But bad for herself—she becomes recluse and guards even the most deplorable, horrid feelings with mental guards.
Sort of pushes you to the back of her mind. She has to focus on the success of the Rebellion and how to undo everything the Empire has done; Ahsoka doesn’t have time to grieve or feel sorry for herself. She has to step up as the leading command of the biggest revolt against the Empire.
Silent over-thinker who really needs a break. She mimics Anakin’s nervous habits without even thinking. Pacing in her room, overthinking, scowling, it’s so ironic how she can be so similar to Anakin when she doesn’t paint herself as a wise, strong and sort of ethereal leader.
When you’re okay, Ahsoka asks everyone to leave you to be. And she finally lets her guard down and hugs you tight, so afraid she would have lost you to whatever battle you were fighting. She was so ready for the pain of the loss that it always gives her a happy surprise you’re always bouncing back better. It’s kinda sad to say, but Ahsoka has been surrounded by loss her entire life so the possibility of you leaving isn’t as frightening as it should be. She doesn’t know if thats healthy.
You kiss her cheek and she stops dissociating. You clear her blurry, rushed thoughts and soothe her sorrows and traumas. :)
— Luke Skywalker
This boy is human disaster Anakin Skywalker’s son. He’s practically BESTIES with worrying and overthinking! He doesn’t mean to worry, since Luke believes the Jedi way is one with mental stability and without struggle of overbearing emotions. But tuen again, Luke’s also a Skywalker. He attempts to appear this graceful Jedi who won’t freak out but we all know Luke is worrying his bowl cut off thinking about you.
I dont know if it’s a Skywalker family thing, but Luke really worries himself horribly thinking about the fact you might, even for a split second, die. That grave idea of death haunts him even if it doesn’t show behind his cool attitude and collected persona. He just deeply cares about you; he adores you beyond measure so the lingering thought in the back of his head of your demise is something that just—frightens the poor guy.
Although worried, he will put heavy amounts of trust and huge amounts of pressure (unknowingly) onto the doctors and medics doing everything they can to ensure you don’t pay an early visit to Luke’s hot dad. Like he’ll put a gloved hand onto the medic’s shoulder, tighten his grip a bit and go, “They’ll be okay, right? I don’t have to worry, right?” with his imposing stance and intense stare. I swear Luke sometimes scares people without meaning to.
Fighting himself a little bit. One side is like, ‘your feelings are valid, Luke. You have every right to be concerned over them—what if they pass like aunt and uncle?’ but the other side is like ‘No Luke, you need to be the Jedi that your dad and that Ben Kenobi wanted you to be.’ so often Luke is between the rift of wanting to feel as selfishly as a human feels but also feeling as selflessly as a Jedi would. What an unfair world, unfair circumstances too. Neither of you deserve this outcome.
He loves visiting you anytime he can, he loves having Han bug you to check up on you even if Han does tease you a little because your leg is broken. (Thank Luke for getting you stuck with Han Solo for the next few days. Fyi, Han is not the greatest bedside nurse. He’s probably the worst bedside nurse. He won’t even put on the hot nurse skirt, either!)
Not much else. If you get better, Luke recovers from his limbo of constant infighting in that noggin of his. If you don’t, well, we don’t have to go down the rabbithole that is Luke’s easy susceptibility into long periods of depression. Stares HARD at older Luke.
When you get back and moving, it’s just a relief for him. :)
— Padme Amidala
Eerily calm, like very eerily calm. I don’t know how she can stand to be so calm but it’s honestly very just Padme for her to not outright show so much explosive emotions; that’s not how she was raised, afterall. Even in her most dire moments, Padme can cry yes but I don’t feel as though she’s the type to have earth shattering outbursts although she does experience. She’s just never displayed them.
It eats at her though, no matter where she is. There she could be listening to some senator go on and on about their trade routes and how the Separatist scum have crested rifts in business and all Padme can think about is you. Just you. Your well-being and recovery is the only thing so very valuable to her in those moments.
She visits often and her aura of calm and poised position comforts you. At least one of you has the ability to remain so level-headed even during such difficult times. Her lessons and etiquettes in manners really kick in, her back sat straight and her gentle hand on yours everything but out of place. Padme is so gentle and softspoken with you that it shocks you she can be such, well, a princess even when shit hits the fan. She really is ready to be a professional senator, isn’t she?
Will argue with nurses and doctors to see you. I don’t care, that woman is doing everything in her power to constantly check up on you. Even if it’s getting Anakin to get up from his couch to check on you or getting 3po go make the journey into the medbay. You’ll either grow exasperated with her persistence to check up on you or you’ll find it incredibly attractive.
Her handmaidens make sure you’re okay too after you’re discharged from the hospital. Sabé stays with you throughout your whole recovery when Padme can’t be with you. And when she is with you, I dont think I can explain how caring she will be. How simply and utterly devoted Padme will become to taking care of you—it will probably make others jealous that such a beautiful woman loves you so much.
Chats with senator Organa about you. Discussing your situation and Organa being the amazing person he is, comforting Padme’s each and every worry. He also just kinda likes the gossip Padme tells him. Not to mention, you and Padme are cute together lol he loves to see y’all thrive.
Kisses. So many kisses. She sneaks in cheek and direct kisses whenever she can; Sneaky kisses, gentle kisses, adoring kisses and apologetic kisses. Padme will do all she can to see you smile, because your smile is the most precious thing to her.
— Mundi

Promises, Ahsoka Tano
Song link
Fanfic, fem! reader
Reunion fic, resolved angst.
Word count: 3291
Tw: This is inaccurate because the sapphics would never be so oblivious and patient. So much pining and heartbreak. Slow burn but make it one fic. Mentions/descriptions of injuries, battle and the aftermath of a war. Probably inaccurate timelines even though I’ve been a Star Wars fan for over a decade. All these series are messing with me.
Summary: You and Ahsoka knew each other since you were both younglings and traveled with each other for a long time after order 66. But when something happens one night, you part suddenly. Now, a small amount of years later, she comes to seek you out.
Buy me a coffee/force me to write more
“Two hearts that shouldn't talk to each other become close In a town much like a prison cell.”
When one thinks about the aftermath of war, they’ll often recount the lives lost. Who won and who lost, and what was won and what was lost? How will the new society function? One thing that often gets forgotten are the survivors, more specifically those who cannot partake in whatever role the world has to offer them yet.
After the Empire was destroyed, thousands of children lost their families, lost their reputation- lost everything, but they weren’t old enough to help restore anything. They were left behind, forced to pick up their broken pieces together.
With the old rebellion, you had established a camp on Coruscant, giving shelter to those who had lost everything. You gave them a roof, food and schooling. Something to help them when they were old enough to go out on their own.
Coruscant had been the centre planet of the Empire, and there were many out there who believed everyone kept alive there were Empire sympathisers, when in fact the opposite was true.
“People speak our names on the street in hushed tones. Oh, the stories they'd tell if anyone would listen. If anyone would listen.”
The camp had been built in the old Jedi temple, where none really dared to enter again. It offered enough space and enough freedom for the children, regardless of the bad memories it might have brought you. Though the emperor had turned the temple into his own palace, there were hidden places still intact. You would come there often to simply sit and think.
You hadn’t even been a full adult when order 66 was issued, still serving as a padawan under your Jedi master. After the fall, you had left everything you had learned there - in the desolate Jedi temple where you had once swore to keep the peace and maintain the balance of the force.
Every time you sat there, you recounted your action, your memories. Everyone you knew and everything you had learned. Your saber had been long buried. Your aid in the rebellion laid within the medics, helping those who had already fallen. It was a good alternative for you. You saved lives of those already deemed dead, and helped the rebellion remain strong. That had been your strength. And once peace was restored, you knew your job was far from over yet. There were still many out there who needed your help.
“You come from a town where people don't bother saying "Hello" Unless somebody's born or dies.”
It had been ten weeks since you set up camp here, and the bond between you, those you worked with, and the children had grown incredibly strong over time. Regardless of the number of people in the temple, you knew all their names and got along with all of them. When you weren’t teaching the children, you occupied yourself in the med bay, though most injuries now extended to scraped knees and bruised skin. In your free hours, you’d run outside with the children, even offering some a handful of defence classes to keep their guard up.
At the end of the day, you’d always find yourself back in that small hall that had remained untouched by the empire. The walls still their marbled gold with white floors, though they were long from polished and shining now.
A month ago a young boy had been practising with a stick, claiming he wanted to one day wield a lightsaber. You knew he had been force-sensitive, but you were reluctant to teach him. Sure, you kept up with your abilities from time to time, but you hadn’t held a saber in years. You couldn’t teach him what you knew, because you simply knew too little. But he was adamant - and surprisingly skilled as well. Thus, you decided to practise your wielding skills again. But now, with a steel pole, roughly the size of a regular blade. It was heavier than usual, but it would work for you.
“And I come from a place where they drag your hopes through the mud. Because their own dreams are all dying.”
You had been practising for weeks, but it was hard when there was no teacher. You were struggling with your footwork when you were suddenly highly aware that you were being watched. You spun around gently, suspecting a child had followed you here, but you were proved the opposite when a familiar voice sounded: “Your footwork is sloppy.”
Turning around the corner, you were faced with a figure that caused your breath to simply remain stuck in your throat for a second.
“Ahsoka,” you breathed, dropping the pile immediately before running up to her, wrapping her in a hug. She was keen to return the gesture, a happy chuckle leaving her as her arms wrapped around your body. “Maker, it’s been so long.”
When you parted, she looked at you with a smile. She had aged, but so had you. She looked more mature, yet that childlike glint was still so visible in her eyes. She looked good.
“And when we walk down the street The wind sings our names in rebel songs.”
“I’ve heard of what you’ve done,” she hummed. “You did good.” You sighed at her words, somewhat grateful for her words, even though you didn’t need them. In your head, you were just happy she was standing in front of you, fully alive. You hadn’t heard from her since the two of you parted, and the silence had been killing you every single day.
“I was worried you had been lost in the war.” You voiced aloud, a remark that caused her smile to broaden just a little bit. “I’m fine,” She assured, nodding her head slightly. “You look good, too.”
Though the words brought just a little heat to your cheeks, you tried to shake it off, teasing her as you twirled your hair. “No grey hairs yet?” You asked rhetorically. “You’d think they’d begun to grow now, considering the stress these children bring me.” Ahsoka laughed at that, crossing her arms before gesturing towards the door she had just came from.
“It’s an admirable thing, taking care of those who are forgotten.” She mused, her face falling slightly. She knew how difficult it had been for children after the war. “Yes, well…” you trailed off. “We used to be a part of them.”
“The sounds of the night should make us anxious. But it's much too late when the fear is gone.”
Silence struck the pair of you as your words laid heavy on your mind. After order 66, you and Ahsoka had been alone, still children, though older. Everything had relied on those around you, but with the gone, the universe had seemed bigger than ever. Where you and Ahsoka still had each other, these children didn’t have anyone. You weren’t going to let them wallow in their own misery, and you - luckily - hadn’t been the only one who refused to let that happen.
“Don’t misunderstand,” you began, breaking the silence. “I am happy you are here, but why?” The togruta seemed to think about that for a short second, though the answer came quickly: “I came here to seek you out.”
Deep dread immediately settled into your system. Usually, when someone would come along, claiming to ‘seek you out’, something had been terribly wrong, or your help was needed for something of grave importance. You couldn’t help but feel slightly panicked at the revelation: “Is something wrong?”
“No,” she quickly denied, as if sensing your stress. “No; I feared there might be, but there isn’t.” The small amount of new adenine in your body slowly died down, confusion now settling in: “What do you mean?”
“I will meet you in the Next Life, I promise you. Where we can be together, I promise you.”
“A few rotations before the falling of the empire, I lost contact with the rebellion.” Ahsoka confessed, rubbing her upper arm in discomfort. “I didn’t know if you were safe.”
Part of you was flattered - happy that she was checking up on you. Even after you went your separate ways, she still wanted to make sure you were safe. However, you never realised she had been doing this, which left part of you even more confused: “You checked on me?” She merely shrugged at your words, even though her facial expression showed slight sympathy. “We went different paths, but it doesn’t mean I shouldn’t care.”
A heavy sigh came from you, trying to repress the memory of how you two left. That was something you didn’t wish to discuss. But the disappointment was still very clear in your words: “You could have called me.” You mumbled, your voice hurt, but not accusing.
Ahsoka formed her lips in a thin line at your words, lost sentiment lingering on them. “I was being hunted,” she defended with a gently voice. “I didn’t want to risk dragging you down with me.”
“I will wait till then in Heaven, I promise you. I promise, I promise.”
When you didn’t respond to it, other than the empathic smile on your lips, she continued: “I heard about this place only days ago. Figured it was worth a look.”
You didn’t have it in you to get mad at her. You had been concerned about her for months now - arguing be damned. It was pointless anyway. If there was anything you had been feeling, it was relief. Anger would be forced, and not only did you refuse to show it as an obvious consequence of your training, it simply wasn’t worth the energy now.
“Well, I am glad you were worried about me.” You confessed. “I’ve been worried about you too. Only, I had no way of checking up on you.” She hissed slightly at the words, humour laced within her tone: “I’m sorry.” “No, it’s okay,” you deny, even though the words kind of hurt. “I understand.” Considering the way we split.
You didn’t say those last words. They were just painful reminders in your head. “I’m just glad you’re still alive.” “Yes…” Ahsoka lightly trailed off, somehow knowing the words that had been going on in your mind. You didn’t linger on it.
“Will you stay here? At least for the night?” The sun had already begun to set, and dinner had long been served. In truth, you were ready to turn to bed after your ‘training’.
She seemed to hesitate to answer, but gave in after seeing your pleading face, another gentle smile tugging on her lips.
“For the night.”
“There's so many fighting to get past the Pearly Gates, But nobody ever wants to die or get saved.”
The last time you saw her must have been a little over a year ago. Since order 66, you had been travelling together, taking comfort in the mere company of each other. Growing up in the Jedi temple and groaning together had strengthened your bond significantly, but it was after the empire had risen that either of you began to realise that there might have been more than friendship there.
None of you ever dared to act on it, still convinced of the Jedi ways. It took years for that to fade, and even after that, the reluctance had been clear between the both of you. It didn’t help that neither of you dared to show it. It made the impression of unrequited feelings much stronger than they needed to be.
The last time you saw her was after you had gotten ambushed by a group of bounty hunters. Ahsoka would have usually handled them themselves, after you had gotten around with the blaster and medical supplies, but they had been too great in number. In the end, you had them cornered, and managed to get away, but this was not without a scratch.
“Their intentions aren't that good and I can smell the asphalt. That's their personal road to Hell being paved.”
“Next time I tell you to go left, you go left.” You scolded, kneeling beside the bench Ahsoka had been laying on. You had returned to your makeshift camp shortly after the attack, tending to Ahsoka’s injuries before you’d relocate. The smell of burning flesh penetrated the small tent, and the angry red mark on her side seemed to scream for attention.
“They would have killed you if it wasn’t for me.” She hissed through her teeth as you began to clean the wound, doing your best to remain gentle. “Yes,” you argued. “But now I am completely fine and you have a blaster wound in your side. The third one since we left Tattooine, might I add.”
Even though her side had been burning, the togruta still seemed to choke out a laugh, grinning at you in assurance. “That was the point.” When you didn’t return her smile, she looked at you more careful, her voice immediately taking a more concerned tone: “You’re fine, right?” “Yes.” You sighed, stopping the cleaning to look at her face. You pointed at her accusingly. “But I’m still mad at you.”
She nodded: “I deserve that.”
“And when we walk down the street The wind sings our names in rebel songs. And it's much too late when the fear is gone.”
Something within you sparked at her words, but you pushed the feeling down. You knew better than to make the best of this. If she really meant anything with it, she would have acted on it by now.
Thus, you turned back to your work, replacing the cleaning supplies with a bacta patch, gently tearing the plaster layer off of the bandage. “You make my stress levels fly out of the roof.” You muttered, not noticing the way Ahsoka’s expression softened as she read the worry on your face. She ignored the tug on her heartstrings.
“Sounds like me.” She merely hummed, squeezing her lips together as you applied the bacta patch. You rested your arms on the cot, checking for any more injuries on her body. When you found none, you shifted lightly to level with her face.
“Just… be careful next time?” You spoke, though it sounded more like a question. “And maybe listen to me for once?”
“I will meet you in the Next life, I promise you. Where we can be together, I promise you.”
“I’m sorry,” she apologised genuinely. You should have left it at that. In hindsight you never should have said anything. But something in her eyes made you want to. There was something vulnerable there and you would have been blind if you hadn’t seen it.
“Ahsoka,” you sighed. “We have lost so many things already. Don’t make me lose you too.”
She had noticed it too, that same softness. Not in her eyes, but in yours. Doubt clouded her mind. If there was a time, it was now. You were so close, so genuine, so beautiful. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest as she was praying to everything out there that you hadn’t heard it. But Anakin did everything for love, and it ended him up some place she never wanted to go. She had to push it down.
“You won’t,” she joked, but went on afterwards in a more serious tone. “I’ll be more careful.”
That was all you needed to hear. You wanted to hear more - of course. But the change in her features was so apparent. She was shutting you out again. Each time you came close, this would happen. You had learned to make peace with it.
“Thank you.”
“I will wait till then in Heaven, I promise you. I promise, I promise.”
“But I might fall sometimes, you know?” She teased. “So, you still gotta patch me up.”
And just like that, that look was back. As if it had never left. It seemed more genuine now, more meaningful. You hated how hesitant you were. Maybe if you hadn’t been, you would have actually gotten somewhere. But when she shifted slightly, you could have sworn she did that just to get closer to you.
And when you leaned in, she made no effort to lean back. In fact, she seemed to come even closer. Heat was flushing towards your face as your stomach suddenly felt very light. If you wouldn’t now, when would you?
Your hand inched closer to her as your lips finally connected. It was hesitant, light - almost not there if you hadn’t seen it. But when your hand found her shoulder, she reached to clutch to it, before returning your kiss with a little more pressure, assuring you that this hadn’t been a dream. The moment you tried to turn your hand to intertwine it with hers, she suddenly pulled back, sitting up as she swallowed harshly.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered. “I shouldn’t have.” Ahsoka shook her head, confliction swirling through her mind. “Why did you do that?” “I’m sorry.” You apologised again, cursing yourself for the wrong social cue. “Forget it happened. Impulsive action.”
You didn’t notice the way her face fell upon those words, nor the way her lip trembled lightly. You just continued to rant: “Adrenaline rush. Makes people do crazy things they usually wouldn’t do.” And that was what broke her. Of course; It makes you do crazy things you wouldn’t usually do. Why would you?
She got up from the cot, making her way towards the exit of the tent. “Ahsoka?” You called after her. “I need to get some air.” She managed to get out. “Yeah, no, of course.” You stuttered, now crestfallen on the floor as you watched her leave. “I’ll- uh, I’ll be right here.”
That was the last time you had seen her. You had heard her take off, leaving you at your camp with just a speeder to get you to the nearest village. You lost all contact afterwards.
“I will meet you in the Next Life, I promise you. Where we can be together, I promise you. I will wait till then in Heaven, I promise you.”
The walk to her room seemed somewhat comfortable, even though the memories now came flashing back more evident than ever. You wanted to get rid of them. She seemed fine now - surely it wasn’t worth getting worked up about.
“I’ll be down the hall if you need anything.” You spoke as you opened her door. She seemed to have notice the sudden shift while the two of you were walking, and turned to face you as she stood in her door opening: “I’m sorry if I make you nervous.” “No, it’s fine,” You shook off. “It’s been some time.”
She just nodded at that, shooting a quick glance in the room. “Thank you.” She said as she looked back at you. “For allowing me to stay here.” “Of course.” You smiled. “You don’t need to ask.”
When she didn’t respond, you turned slightly, pointing towards a door at the left end of the hall. “If there is anything, and I mean anything, that door is mine.” Then, you turned to leave, offering her a small wave. “Goodnight, Ahsoka.” “I am sorry I left.” She interrupted before you could set a step. “I shouldn’t have.”
One look was cast over your shoulder, though it wasn’t in sadness or frustration; it was a strange combination of remorse and peace: “You don’t need to justify your actions. Not to me.” “You deserve to know why.” She countered, seemingly adamant on making her point.
“Tell me about it tomorrow.” You smiled, an offer she seemed to be okay with. And with that, you continued your path.
“Goodnight, Ahsoka.”
“Goodnight.”
“I promise, I promise.”

2AM THOUGHTS #5: Ahsoka snitching on Anakin to Y/N about his crush on her
Ahsoka looked over her shoulder and rolled her eyes with a small smile.
"What?" Y/N asked.
"My Master." She replied simply.
"What about him?" She wondered, looking back. She saw Anakin already staring at her with a charming smile. As soon as she met his eyes, she smiled back and offered him a small wave, which he returned gladly. She giggled at the thought of having his attention and turned around, returning to her conversation with the Padawan.
"That." Ahsoka deadpanned.
"Oh, come on, he's just being sweet." She dismissed with a wave.
"Is he?" She asked rhetorically. "You think he's sweet, you should hear the way he talks about you."
"What? What does he say?" Y/N wondered.
"Ugh, you have no idea! Do you know how many mornings I've spent listening to him whining over you and going 'she's such an angel, I don't know what we did to deserve her', 'I wish I could spoil her with everything she ever wanted', 'I'd leave the Jedi Order in a heartbeat if she asked', 'Maker, she's so intelligent, she makes everyone here look like a dog'-"
"Wait, wait, what?" She interrupted. "Anakin said he'd leave the Order for me?"
"He did. You turn him into mush just by existing," she confirmed. "He wants you so badly that if you complimented him, he'd die."
The realization of what she meant to him was a bit overwhelming, yes, but it made her happy. The happiest she had ever been. "That's... wow."
"What are you going to do about it?" Ahsoka asked.
"I... I don't know, I mean... he's amazing. He really, really is." She sighed, sitting on a rock.
"Do you like him?" The Padawan pushed, although she knew the answer as clearly as anyone with eyes.
"Of course I do, who wouldn't? I mean, he's sweet and kind and gentle, he's handsome, he's smart, he makes me laugh, and- oh."
Ahsoka raised an eyebrow, amused. "Gotcha."
"All right, then, I'm going to spend time with him more often." Y/N concluded.
"Starting now. Go." Ahsoka said and gave her a little push to where her Master was working.
Y/N walked closer to Anakin, who smiled brightly when he caught sight of her. "Hi."
"Hi," she replied, chuckling softly to herself. "What you doing?"
"Oh, just fixing this speeder. It got hit pretty bad during the battle." He sighed, hands on his hips as he examined his work from afar.
"How'd you fix it?" She asked, smiling fondly as she scooted closer to him.
"It's just boring stuff, you don't want to hear about it." He dismissed.
"No, tell me. I'm curious, I want to know." She smiled, resting her chin on his metal armour to peer at the ship. Through the Force, she could feel the butterflies erupting in his stomach. He loved when she took an interest in him and she knew it. Meanwhile, she felt sparks running through her body at the feeling of his toned muscles on her skin.
He let out a breathy chuckle before beginning his engineering rant. Her heart swelled with cuteness overload as he explained every step and every detail to her, and he looked so happy while doing it, as if one of his recurring daydreams had finally come true.
She wrapped her arms around his middle from the back, briefly nuzzling into his neck before turning her attention back to the ship. Her heart skipped a beat as she felt the muscles of his abdomen through his robes. Anakin froze as he felt her touch engulf him.
"Y/N..?" He hesitated.
"Yeah?" She asked, hoping he wouldn't make her pull away.
"Are you on death sticks?"
"No, Ani." She laughed, nuzzling her nose into the short curls on the back of his neck while she smiled.
"Well, then, um..." he hesitated. "...could you do this more often?"
"Aw, of course." She smiled as he melted into her embrace. He rested his hands on hers and continued explaining the final steps, every once in a while looking back to see her face.
When he finished, he was smiling like a happy child, finally getting the love and care he needed. They were both blushing furiously and smiling like idiots.
Ahsoka watched from afar with a smirk on her face, proud of her newfound matchmaking skills. Her heart burst with happiness as she saw Anakin press a kiss to Y/N's forehead, looking down at her as if she were his whole world.
Finally, the pining was over.

The Cyborg's Apprentice Part 2
Summary: Reader finds a way out of serving the Sith. Or so they think.
Warnings: Reader goes on a mental health/self discovery journey, neck wounds, and trackers
Notes: Part 1 and part 1.5 here
Gn!reader, teen!reader, Sith!reader
Word Count: 4,032
Light rain pattered against the window, occasionally broken by a violent crack of lightning. They didn’t go together. The rain was barely more than a drizzle, one that children could dance in, but the lightning was fierce enough to make some adults cower in fear.
Ahsokah was neither an adult, nor a child. So instead of dancing or cowering, she studied. She’d found some interesting writings on meditation, and was trying her best to follow the steps. The soft rain helped her get into the zone, and the lighting was a good test of concentration.
One thing kept nagging at her. It had been quite a few days since she’d heard from you. Maybe you’d been found out, and Grievous had ordered that your conversations stop. There was another possibility, one she dreaded even more than the last. What if you had sunk even deeper into the dark side, and decided to cut off communication all on your own? You could be devotedly fighting against the Republic on some far-flung planet.
A peal of thunder rumbled outside, and she pulled herself back to her meditations. If you were countless parsecs away, there was nothing she could do.
Little did she know, the two of you were mere miles apart, and you were growing ever closer. Your hood stayed up over your head, concealing your face. With help from the Force, you managed to circumnavigate the security measures, and began ascending the side of the Temple.
When you reached the right window, you could see Ahsoka sitting there cross-legged on the floor, eyes closed, with a scroll unrolled in front of her. The lights were on, just enough to read by. It was shockingly sparse. Only a bed, low to the ground, and a small table.
Hesitating, you raised your fist to knock on the window. What if this was a mistake? You coming here could endanger Ahsoka, get her in trouble with the Jedi Council, kicked out, even.
But… You needed her right now. There was nowhere else to go, no one else who could understand. So, you lightly tapped your knuckles against the transparisteel.
Her head darted towards the unexpected sound at the window, and when she saw you, her face was filled with confusion. She said something you couldn’t hear, and when you tried to tell her as much, she motioned for you to wait.
Turning, she picked up one of her lightsabers, and drove it into the window. Within a moment, a circular chunk was missing.
“Y/n?” She said, just barely loud enough to be heard.
“Hey 'Soka.” You said, then promptly tumbled through the hole. She grabbed you a moment before you hit the floor, and helped you sit against the wall.
“What are you doing here?” She asked. “It’s not safe for you!”
“I… I didn’t know where else to go.” At that moment, Ahsoka noticed that blood was trickling down your neck.
“Maker, Y/n.” She said, pushing your cloak out of the way so she could see the cut. “How did this happen? Who did this?”
“I did.” You said. “I had to. Grievous had a tracker implanted in my neck.”
Once she had stopped the bleeding from your neck, Ahsoka’s eyes darted over the rest of you. Your clothes were dirty and wrinkled, like they hadn’t been washed in a few days. You had a few minor scrapes and bruises, but you were tired. Every breath took effort, and your eyes were filled with fear.
“Y/n,” Ahsoka started, “How are you going to get back to Grievous’s ship?”
“I’m not going back.” You said. “I can’t go back.”
“Well, I can’t hide you here.”
“Tano, I would never ask you to.”
“What do you suggest I do?” She asked.
“Turn me in.” You said, and Ahoska gave you an astonished look. “It’s the only way you don’t get in trouble with the Council, and I stay safe from the Sith.”
A moment passed, one in which the two of you just sat, inches apart, taking in the gravity of the situation.
“Can we just have a few more moments?” She finally asked.
“Of course, ‘Soka.”
When Ahsoka called for the guards, they clapped specially-crafted Mandalorian manacles onto your wrists, and brought you to the medic, who patched up the back of your neck. They locked you in a small cell until the Council could be assembled. Waiting there was the worst part. It gave you plenty of time to sit and reflect.
Ever since your encounter with Ahsoka at the ruined temple, the two of you would avoid each other on the battlefield. One night, you received an encrypted message. It was just one short question.
Why did you let me go?
And you replied with the simple, honest, answer.
I don’t know.
From that point on, you become each other's confidants. Strategic information was never shared, since the consequences of espionage were much worse than simply fraternizing with the enemy, but more personal matters– doubts, dreams, dreads– were all fair game. Because of this, Ahsoka knew things about you that you wouldn’t dare tell anyone else and vice versa.
She first suggested you join the Jedi a few months after you started talking. Deep down, you knew what the Sith were doing wasn’t right, but years of conditioning and propaganda with just enough truth sprinkled in was hard to break away from. So you declined her offer.
Again, when you were stranded on a planet with her, she brought up the idea. She even suggested you could fake your death and go back to the Temple with her. It was tempting, and she had convinced you that the Sith were doing more harm than good. Ultimately, the idea didn’t pan out.
You were pulled out of your reminiscing when the guards came to escort you to the Council Chamber. The twelve Jedi Masters were seated in a circle, and you were guided to the middle.
“Y/n y/l/n.” Began a man with dark skin and a bald head. “We know you are a Separatist, and the apprentice of General Grievous. You have fought against the Republic and the Jedi Order for years, taking down waves of our troops and foiling countless missions. Today you are brought before the Council in a strange turn of events including but not limited to breaking into the Jedi Temple.”
“Your side,” Said a short shriveled green man, “You now must tell us.”
“I was a Separatist,” You said, “But I have turned against Grievous and the entirety of the dark side of the force. I wish to study at the Jedi Temple, but I understand you have your reservations, and that it is a real possibility that I will spend the rest of my days in a cell.
“For now, the CIS are unaware that I have defected, but when they do figure it out, they will hunt me down. I have only one request: Wherever you lock me up, make sure it has the best of security.”
“We will see.” The bald man said. “We have further questions. Why did you go to Ahsoka Tano?”
“She and I met before, during multiple battles.” You replied simply, casting a glance towards the door, where Ahsoka was standing with her master Anakin. “And I felt that our similarity in age would help me gain her trust.”
The questioning went on for a little while longer, until, satisfied with your answers, the green man spoke.
“A moment we must have,” He said, “To discuss. Back to your cell, you will go. Call you we will, when a decision we have reached.”
On your way out, you exchanged the briefest of glances with Ahsoka. A look of thanks passed between the two of you, like Ahsoka was grateful you did not bring up your secret correspondence.
Not too long later, you were called back to the Council Chamber.
“It has been decided that you will be welcomed into the Order,” Said the bald jedi, who you learned was Mace Windu. “You will live here, and be trained in the light side of the force.”
“Thank you!” You said, a smile spreading across your face.
“Padawan Tano and Master Kenobi, you should thank.” Said Yoda. “Spoke on your behalf, they did.”
“Understand that there are caveats to this agreement.” Master Windu continued, “You will stay on the Temple grounds with supervision at all times. You will not be allowed access to your lightsabers, or communication to anyone outside the Temple.”
“Of course,” Obi Wan jumped in, “You will also provide us with any and all future CIS plans.”
“Of course.” You nodded, just happy they weren’t shipping you off to a prison planet, or executing you here and now. Once the rules were all laid out, they had the guards show you to your room. It was as bare as Ahsoka’s, except it was equipped with a security camera, and the windows were too small to fit through.
A short time later, Ahsoka joined you. She brought some robes and some scrolls for you, along with dinner.
“Honestly,” She said as the two of you sat cross legged on the floor, “I was surprised they let you in.”
“Me too.” You said, scooping up a bite from your bowl. “I thought the whole ‘fighting against you all in a war’ thing would’ve given them a bit more pause.”
“Yes, that,” Ahsoka agreed, “But also, you’re really old.”
“Excuse me?” You raised an eyebrow at her. “I am, like, a few months older than you at most.”
“I know that, Y/n,” She scoffed, “What I meant is that Anakin is one of the oldest people they’ve agreed to train, and even then there were some grumblings about it.”
“Well,” You shrugged, “They already agreed. Can’t go back now!” You had another bite. “How old was Anakin? I can’t be that much older.”
“He was nine.”
“Oh.”
Ahsoka left to go to bed, but said she’d be back in the morning to take you to breakfast and show you around the Temple.
“I’ve got a few day’s shore leave,” She said as she was leaving, “But after that I’ve gotta keep kicking Separatist butt.”
True to her word, the next morning she was in your room right as you finished getting dressed.
“Do you know where I should put these?” You said, holding up your old Sith robes. The red and black patterning stood out harshly against the soft neutral colors of the room.
“The laundry basket’s in the closet.” She said, nodding her head in its direction. “Let’s go, we’re burning daylight here. The sun’s been up for nearly a half hour! By the time we get to the Refectory, all the good food’s gonna be gone.”
Just as Ahsoka predicted, there was no good food left. After breakfast – which wasn’t all that bad – Ahsoka brought you to a quiet, dimly lit room, then left. Inside was a small group of people, mostly children, seated in a circle around an older Jedi.
She beckoned you to an empty cushion on the ground, and briefly explained that they were practicing silent meditation, and that the goal was to completely quiet your mind and body.
One of the conditions of your staying here was getting some training to combat the Sith teachings, so here you were, meditating cross-legged with a class of children. The silence sank into your bones, at first you tried to fight it, but when it eventually settled, you found yourself with a strange sense of peace.
You did as the instructor said, and whenever a thought or feeling entered your mind you acknowledged it, and let it drift away. For a moment you felt the anger and pain drift away, too. It was like a weight had been eased off your mind.
But when your concentration wavered, the weight settled on you once more.
After meditation the older Jedi led your group to the refectory. Ahsoka met up with you there. In the afternoon neither you nor Ahsoka had any obligations, so you spent it in the gardens. There, you saw a Jedi digging through the dirt holding a plant with wide heart-shaped leaves. The edges faded to green, while the rest was a pleasing pinkish red.
“Oh hello!” Said the Jedi, straightening up from his work, “Have you come to help out in the garden?”
“Uh…” You glanced at Ahsoka, unsure what to say.
“We would love to.” She said. So that afternoon was spent working peacefully in the garden. The Jedi you were working with was old, like your meditation instructor. He had the odd tendency to be silent for many minutes, state something completely out of the blue, and immediately go back to silence.
“Gardening used to be a popular activity among the Jedi.” He said, “Everyone from Younglings to geezers like me would be up here, digging through the dirt.” He said wistfully, “But that was before the war. Now we’ve got children out there fighting. It’s just us old folks holding down the fort here. Keeping the Younglings learning and such. You two are the only teenagers I’ve seen around here in a long time.”
“I will be here for a while.” You said, “If that’s any consolation.”
“Hm.” He grunted, and pleasant silence descended again.
And so went your days. Dinners with Ahsoka cross-legged on the floor, classes in restraining anger, teaching morality, and afternoons in the gardens, and weekly check-ins with the Jedi Council. You were still getting into the groove of things, when one night Ahsoka told you she had to leave.
“Wait what?” You asked, nearly choking on the bite of food in your mouth, “Already? It’s only been a few days!”
“I know,” Ahsoka said, “I know, but this war still needs fighting.”
“Do you at least know when you’ll be back?” You asked, eyes downcast and voice full of sadness.
“No.” Ahsoka saw the look in your eyes, she continued, “But your information has been invaluable. We’re winning, Y/n. The end is in sight. Soon no one will have to fight.”
“Yeah.” You said. “That’s… Comforting I guess. I just wish that I could talk to you, while you’re gone.”
“We could ask the Council to make an exception to the ‘no outside contact’ rule,” She suggested, “Say that you need someone your age to talk to.”
“That might work,” You said, “I’ll still miss you though.”
“I know. I’ll miss you, too.”
You were granted permission to talk with Ahsoka while she was gone. Nothing about her locations or missions, and they read all your messages before sending them, but it meant you got to preserve the friendship.
When she finally returned, it was like you were a different person. You happily wore the brown robes, tended the gardens, meditated, and lived without fear. The lessons you had been taught were sinking in, and the peace that came with them washed over every aspect of your life.
The moment she got back, Ahsoka started looking for you. She found you in the gardens, watering and digging. Your entire demeanor had shifted. You carried yourself like you knew you belonged, and yet humbly. You dutifully attended to your work, and Ahsoka felt more at peace simply being in the same room as you.
“Y/n.” She said. You poked your head up from the bushes, and smiled at her.
“Hey Tano.” You said, brushing your hands off against your robe and standing up, “I’m glad to see you again.”
The two of you walked through the Temple together, talking for hours.
“You…” She started, “I’ve only been gone a few weeks, but you seem so different now. Happier.”
“That’s because I am.” You said, “Happier, that is. I’m finally discovering peace.”
“Good.” She smiled at you, “Because you deserve it.”
The night before Ahsoka left again, she brought you dinner.
“Hey Y/n.” She said, holding a greasy bag up, “I brought you some food from Dex’s, since refectory food is all nutrition, hold the flavor.” Just like that first night, you sat on the floor of your room, and talked late into the night.
“Imma miss you.” You said as Ahsoka was just about to step through the door.
“I know,” Ahsoka paused, “But I have some good news. My friend Barriss Offee’s gonna be here for a bit. I think you’ll like her.”
And sure enough, you and Barriss hit it off. She was a little older than Ahsoka, and was able to give you some guidance. She often joined you in the garden, or for meditation.
She was interested in your swap from the Seperatist’s side, perhaps a little too interested. She often asked about what you were taught as a Sith, which made you uncomfortable. Whenever that came up you steered the conversation away.
It was probably just her naturally investigative personality. That's another thing you liked about her, she was smart. You could point to any plant, painting, or carving in the Temple and she knew something interesting about it.
Occasionally, she would share her doubts about the Order with you. It reminded you of your secret correspondence with Ahsoka, back before you joined the Jedi, so you indulged her. Her concerns were similar to those Ahsoka had, mostly centered around the war, but they were different. These weren't just lamentations that the world was messed up and the Jedi Order needed reform, they were more like subtle hints that the Order itself was the problem.
It was almost like she was probing you to see if you shared these beliefs. You brushed it off the first few times, but as the hints became less subtle, and her ideas less like ideas and more like plans, you resolved to tell the Council at your next weekly check in. It was just a few days away. In the meantime, you compiled all the worrying things you’d heard Barriss say so you could show them to the Council.
The day finally came, and as you walked down the hall to the Council Chamber, you had your head buried in a tablet, going over what Barriss said one last time. You tucked it away just before entering the room.
It was dark. The room was empty, except for one man lurking in the shadows. He stepped forward, and you saw it was Obi-Wan.
“They thought it would be better if you heard it from me,” he said. You were close with Obi-Wan, and often sought him out for advice. He stuck up for you during the Council’s private discussion, since he truly believed in you.
“Master Kenobi,” You said, “Is everything okay? Where are the other Masters? Is Ahsoka in trouble–”
“No,” He interrupted, “She’s fine. I’m here to return these to you.” He opened a small box, which contained your Sith robes. They seemed familiar and yet out of place. Just a relic of a part of your life that was long gone.
“Why would I need these?” You asked. Kenoi stayed silent. Searching for an answer, you looked at his face. His eyes were filled with regret and resolve.
“I’m so sorry.” He said.
“Why would I need these?” You asked again, voice more serious.
“You are part of a prisoner exchange.”
“No.” You shook your head, “No, I can’t go back. I’m not going back! They’ll kill me! Master Kenobi please-”
“They don’t know you defected.” He said, once again interrupting you.
“Then where do they think I was?” You questioned.
“As far as they know, you were imprisoned by the Republic.”
“How is this fair?” You spat, “I betrayed the CIS, the Sith, and everyone I used to know for a chance at joining the Order, and this is how it repays me? By manipulating me to get all the information it needed and then sending me back to the very same evils I fled?
“The Jedi Council never manipulated you.” Obi-Wan said, his voice infuriatingly serene and steady.
“Really?” You scoffed. “You imprisoned me, and didn’t even bother to let me know. I trusted you.”
Your voice lowered to barely above a horse whisper.
“You let me believe I had a future here.”
“I thought you did, too.” He said, “I’m sorry.”
“Can I at least say goodbye?” You asked after a moment of silence. Tears started to gather in the corners of your eyes, but you blinked them away.
“No.” He replied. “We have to leave now.”
You nodded, and followed him to a transport shuttle. It took about a day of travel to get to the exchange point. First you took a small shuttle, then a larger ship, a landing pod, and finally you rode on the back of Cody’s speeder. The whole time you didn’t utter a single word.
It was a remote planet. Just farms with little to no strategic value. You were wearing your Sith robes once more, and your arms were shackled behind you to align with your ‘prisoner of war’ story. You’d gotten there before Grievous, so you leaned against the bike while the clones and Obi-Wan sent out snipers to stay hidden in the surrounding hills’ shrubbery. The long grass rippled in the slight breeze, and the sun beat down. A few wispy clouds drifted lazily across the sky as the minutes ticked by.
After what felt like an eternity of waiting, the CIS finally showed up. Their speeders kicked up a storm of dust, which could be seen from miles away, even with the rolling hills. They slid to a halt on the other edge of a dusty clearing in perfect formation; Grievous at the center, flanked by a v shape of commando droids.
The metallic General dismounted, pulled a tied-up Jedi from the back of his bike, and shoved him to a droid. Cody started to grab your arm to lead you forward, but you shoved him off of you and affixed a look of disdain to your face.
Back when you first met him, this attitude would have come naturally, but now, after learning empathy, you actually felt bad for the clones. They didn’t ask to be soldiers. They never had a choice. But you couldn’t think about that right now. You had to keep up the guise of a disgruntled young Sith, complete with eye-rolling and sneers.
Cody walked you halfway across the patch of dusty ground while a droid brought over the captured Jedi. After confirming that the Jedi was alright, Cody signaled to Obi-Wan, and the exchange was confirmed. Before you left, Cody passed you a box containing your lightsabers. As you were rushed to the Separatist speeders, you dared to cast a final glance back at the Republic forces.
They were too busy welcoming their returned friend to even look at you.
“Each time you find yourself scooped up by the Republic reflects poorly on me.” Grievous continued berating you as the commando droids loaded the bikes onto the shuttle. “Have you learned nothing? When will you stop allowing yourself to be snatched by these pieces of Republic scum?”
“Those reflections are deserved!” You spat back. “You seem to forget that it is your job to teach me to fight. Instead you’re too busy chasing down Kenobi for some personal feud that he doesn’t even seem to know (much less care) about.”
Those words hung in the air for a moment.
“Ha.” He laughed hollowly, “Perhaps you have learned something.” He then climbed into the shuttle. You knew he expected you to follow, but you could tell your emotions were reaching a boiling point. Instead of thinking about leaving Ahsoka without saying goodbye, or how the council betrayed you, you changed the sadness into blind rage.
The wood of a nearby tree splintered as though an invisible hand crushed it. You looked at your hands, squeezed into fists so tight that your nails broke the skin, and realized that had been you. You had unintentionally channeled the Force. Slowly, you loosened your fists, and a few splinters fell away from the tree trunk.
From that day on, anger would be your fuel, and it would serve you well.

𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰
summary: an unexpected person pays you a visit , and it changes things for good.
warnings: angst, mentions of past mistakes / regrets
a/n: no authors note, just some ‘soka angst<3
the dim light from your porch’s lamp shined precisely in the crack between ahsoka’s aching skin and the coarse fabric of her dark cloak. Her blue eyes creased under the brighter light, body shaking— hand queasy as she rose it to the familiar wooden door.
The pounding of her heart in her chest was so loud, it was almost the only thing she could hear. Her breaths were heaving- as if she had ran here. sweat coating every inch of her beautiful orange skin while she stare holes into the wood before her.
She could hear shuffling inside, she could make out the small giggles you made from what she assumed to be a book you were reading— you loved books. romance books. ahsoka remembered specifically finding them for you while she was on her missions when she was a Padawan, always thinking of you and how you would react to such a silly book. She never understood how you could read those things, how the words of the love story could affect you so deeply. She would never forget the flushed laughs you released, the cute tint of pink on your skin.
She shook her head- dissolving such silly thoughts of you. Those days were over, long gone for good.
The small hum of an all too familiar tune echoing off the walls sent her hard into a spiral, basically leaping out of her chest.
ahsoka allowed her eyes to shut for a short moment, reminiscing to the old tune.
When Ahsoka would tell you about the nightmares that would plague her sleep— you would comfort her, tell her everything would be okay. You’d sing a small tune- the tune that your mother would sing you when you were small. she remembers you saying how it stuck with you- how it had become something you sang when you were content, calm. when you were with someone you loved.
a frown molded onto ahsoka’s lips, brows furrowed in sorrow. Realization that she had left. Not just her master, but the order— and you. god- what was she thinking? Greif flooded her.
Ahsoka new that when she walked away, that it would include everything about her past life. but, she didn’t want you to be apart of her past life. she wanted you to be apart of her life now- To be with her.
with a shaky sigh, ahsoka straightened her back and blinked her sorrowful eyes- bravely knocking twice on your door.
The soft hums came to a stop, shuffling could once again be heard— but, this time, it was approaching the door.
apprehension flooded Ahsoka’s body, mind running miles at the thought of what you might look like sought her out. She hasn’t laid her blue eyes on you since you both were fourteen- four years ago. Surely you were to be different- older, perhaps taller- and no doubt in her mind, more beautiful.
footsteps approached the door echoed off the skull of her head, a nervous flush flying through her chest when she saw the door handle turn— and stop stopped when you pulled open the door.
You weren’t much taller- perhaps an inch or two- your hair was longer, much longer— your features had matured, your lips had grown, your eyelashes finally fit your face, god. you were everything she wanted— you were better than she imagined you would be, even all these years later.
though, the look on your face whooshed her thoughts away. It was one of confusion- shock, too. Bewilderment, anger, sadness- but, mostly, the deep sorrow of your eyes resembled those of whom missed someone dear to them.
silence ate at her skin like infectious bugs, gnawing down at her flesh painfully as the thick air between you both made her ears ring.
your eyes scanned her face suspiciously, as if she wasn’t there- as if perhaps she was a hologram, or a clone. someone else- someone similar.
“Ahsoka?” you asked skeptically, still holding the door handle. You stared at her in disbelief, almost denial- had you not thought you’d ever see her again?
she couldn’t find it in herself to reply to you— her throat suddenly as drained of moisture as the lonesome planet Tatooine. Your eyes slowly widened when the realization that she was indeed, truly standing before you after all these years.
before she could blink or even breathe— she felt two all too familiar arms wrap around her. Ahsoka’s eyes blew wide, surprised by the sudden full-body contact of your form on hers, your head in the crook of her neck. She hasn’t realized how much she really did miss you until now.
Your scent, your touch, your smile and voice— you were like a missing dream. Hesitantly, she wrapped her shaky arms around your body, scared- as if you were going to vanish.
the embrace that held you two together was long- silent, deep, filled with many unsaid words spilling out from hidden spaces inside you both.
You only pulled back to look at her face. Gosh, she was beautiful. so beautiful you couldn’t believe she was real.
“maker, ahsoka. I.. i thought you were..” you shut yours eyes, sighing deeply and shaking your head. “are you okay? do you need anything?” you asked through heavy thoughts— opening your confused eyes and blinking many times before trailing them across the Togruta’s face. Ahsoka didn’t say anything, her lips parted lightly while she stare at your face as you spoke, as you moved.
“i— what am i— come in, please.” you ushered, your own wobbly hand reaching for hers and delicately leading her inside your longtime home.
you shut the door behind her, shooing your loth cat, Noni, out of the way as she tried to rub herself against ahsoka’s boots out of familiarization.
Ahsoka didn’t sit on your couch until you did, tossing some messy pillows out of the way in order to clear a space for her.
you didn’t know where to start— what to and not to ask, what to and not to do, where to look and where to begin.
You took a moment to take her in, her lekku have grown longer, she finally grew into her big features, her lips were as beautiful as you remember, her eyes as alluring as they were all those years ago— still so you could get lost in them.
“you… don’t have to talk, ‘soka. not if you don’t want to. we can just.. wait.” you whispered, watching her lost eyes scavenge over your hand on hers.
“wait however long you need.”

Peaceful
Pairing: Padawan!Ahsoka x Padawan!fem!reader
Summary: Reader meditates with a frustrated Ahsoka and helps her connect with the Force again
Word Count: 1.1k
Warnings: idk, fluff? Jedi? Clone wars, but not really?
A/n: Heyyyyy! <3333 I just want y’all to know I love Ahsoka. Here is a fic about my literal wife during the clone wars. Hope you enjoy!
Master-list
The vast halls were relatively quiet for this hour. [Name] walked down the long pillared corridors of the Jedi temple in need of peace.
Peace from the war around her, peace from the people, and most importantly, peace from her thoughts.
There were maybe two people in the hall with her, but they were quite a while away and she couldn’t really hear them. Her footsteps felt heavy as she seemed to all but shuffle as she moved. It was late afternoon, many would have left for the mess hall by now, [Name] could feel the effects of not heading straight to eat and it was causing her to drag her feet.
This was not very Jedi like of her, something she is all too aware of. She was used to holding herself a certain way but at this moment, she couldn’t be bothered to care. All she seemed to care about was her destination. The clicking of her heals in her boots felt loud in the echo of the vast halls, it made [Name] feel small.
Racing thoughts seemed to keep her head occupied, almost so much so that she almost missed the door she meant to enter. As she moved to stand in front of the door, it slid open with ease, revealing a crossed legged Ahsoka sitting on a soft seat in the middle of the dark room.
Taking a step in, [Name] was made aware of the dim lights rimming the room as the door closed behind her. They were bright enough that [Name] could still see Ahsoka’s face, but still dark enough to not be off putting.
Her face was tranquil, calm, and completely neutral; a clear sign of her deep meditation. Her shoulders were relaxed and for once she didn’t look like the weight of the galaxy was on her shoulders. Despite her mostly neutral appearance, [Name] clocked Ahsoka’s recognition of her arrival in the Force. It felt almost… relieved.
“I thought you might be in here,” [Name]’s voice rang out, taking a step closer.
A smile grew on Ahsoka’s face, her eyes still closed from her meditative state.
“You always did know me the best,” Ahsoka said smiling.
Ahsoka heard sounds of rustling as [Name] took a seat in the plush stool across from her. [Name] took a deep breath in as she crossed her legs in front of her. The breath came easily, like she had been holding her breath for a number of hours.
Closing her eyes, [Name] released herself into the force, finding the embrace the Force gave her refreshing. The Force seemed to rid her of her fears and suffering, the anxieties in her mind dissolved, leaving only peace as she reached deeper. [Name]’s strong emotions were no match to her connection to the force.
A couple of moments later, after [Name] had relinquished the power of the thoughts in her mind, she turned her attention to the other Force being in the room.
Ahsoka’s Force presence was like none other, taking all of [Name]’s attention all at once. Ahsoka had seemed to have always been in her life and thus, her presence was all too familiar. Since she arrived at the temple all those years ago, [Name] seemed inseparable with Ahsoka.
That familiarity of Ahsoka’s presence brought peace to [Name] that only the Force could rival. And it was days like this, sat comfortably in each other’s presence, that [Name] thought that Ahsoka felt the same way.
All at once, [Name] was met with the understanding of all of Ahsoka’s strong thoughts and emotions. Ahsoka had come into that room hoping to find peace, and while [Name] had quickly come to that peace, Ahsoka was having a harder time succumbing to the Force and letting go of her emotions.
Although in deep meditation, Ahsoka’s feelings were easy to read, and it was clear to [Name] that Ahsoka was also not trying to hide her feelings from her. Opening her eyes for a moment, [Name] looked at Ahsoka in her deep meditative state again. She was still as relaxed in the shoulders—an important part of a good meditation—but the neutrality in her face was replaced with a subtle furrow in her brow and a slight pout that [Name] could only smirk softly at.
Taking another deep breath, [Name] closed her eyes again, letting the Force guide her. Her attention was once again focused on Ahsoka’s frustrated Force presence. She tried to reach out with her mind, with the Force, to try and ease some of Ahsoka’s tension.
Ahsoka’s mind was racing and as hard as she tried to get it to quiet, the thoughts just kept getting louder. Trying to push the thoughts away seemed to have the opposite effect and her frustration over was not helping.
Despite the distance between the two seated padawans, [Name] felt as if she was surrounded by Ahsoka. [Name] took another deep breath before extending her own force presence to gently nudge Ahsoka.
Ahsoka in her deep meditation instantly felt the presence of [Name] and the reminder that she was still there. That she was not alone.
‘Let go’
A little voice in her head seemed to say. Ahsoka couldn’t tell if that was [Name]’s voice or just one of the Force, but either way she took the advice.
Taking a deep breath, Ahsoka dropped her shoulders in a great exhale. Her body seemed to still from the inside and she felt the full weight of the Force surrounding her, penetrating her and binding her together. Her mind was silenced and she was completely connected to the Force once again.
She felt like she was more than her body, that—even with her eyes closed—she could see everything that was in the room; feel it too. She was totally in tune, something that she had been needing for a matter of days now. She felt Peaceful.
After some much needed connection with the Force, Ahsoka found herself coming out of her meditation. Opening her eyes, she found [Name] smiling at her already in the dim lighting.
“Thank you,” Was all Ahsoka could manage as she was caught in [Name]’s eyes.
“Anything for you,” The affection in her tone was evident, but went unsaid as it usually does with the two. “Come on, we have to get to the mess hall.”
Ahsoka smiled fondly before nodding. If they stay there any longer, their master’s would come looking for them, and they didn’t need that. So they ran off to dinner, looking at on each other every now and again. Because although they can sense each other in the Force, sometimes just seeing the other there is just as comforting.
A/n: Thank you so much for reading! I am trying to get requests out, don’t worry! <3333
