♡ a "Mirror Regressor" is someone who age regresses, while mirroring a fictional character entirely at the same time. A Mirror Regressor may obviously be themselves when not regressed, but when little they see themselves as a character. (Ex; sonic)

they may do this for variety of reasons! But from personal experience, I do this for comfort, I see myself as the character/or relate, and finally, I do it to fit the ideal of fictional caregivers.

♡ an example ! ! ;; my name is Carson irl! But when I'm little, I see myself as Edward (Riddler) or, scout (TF2) so I "take" the identity of a comfort character and it's pretty much "little me"

made as an all-inclusive flag for all types of experiences. generally if you feel younger than you actually are, for whatever reason, you are allowed to use this.

all communities, of any nature, are allowed to use this flag and symbol so long that the use isn't hateful or bigoted, thank you.

the symbol is a visual metaphor for a lot of things, but generally it can be whatever you make of it. the heart symbolizes the inner child (or yourself, if you do not have one) and the circles can be anything from other people to the jets of the fountain of youth to the bars of a cage. or it's a flower. whatever you like. :)

rainbows are often associated with childishness, and have a certain whimsical quality that i wanted the flag to embody. i avoided the use of the color white intentionally in the stripes because not all of us associate ourselves with purity or innocence as white often represents.

strawberry agere | carrotpet | cherry child | starchild

Strawberry agere - a regressor who is non-traditional. As opposed to a cherry child, strawberries don’t like the “average” stuff, meaning such as they like shows & movies and such that other regressors don’t like (ie. Horror, analog horror, etc)

Carrotpet - a pet regressor who is new to pet regressing, and doesn’t have “gear” yet or doesn’t want gear. Alternatively, a pet regressor who doesn’t want/have gear or want a caregiver.

Cherry child - a “stereotypical” age regressor who loves the soft things and childish things. Note that cherry children are *not* bad! They’re just comfortable with their style!

Starchild - an age regressor who shines when they do games or activities kids may struggle with. May havr been a golden child when they were younger

I know it's been said many times but I feel like the community would really benefit from having some sort of symbol that not only represents age regression and pet regression as a sort of awareness symbol, like those used for conditions or other causes/communities, and also a way to discretely show that you're In The Know.

We'd need either one symbol for ALL types of regression, or two; one for agere and one for petre. Not one for caregiving, one for flips, one for kid regressors, et cetera at least right off the bat. More specific sub-symbols would be lovely but to put our energy on focusing on one main one would be the way to properly establish it.

Then, once we've decided on one we would spread it around. Reblog, repost, share on different social medias, tell your regression friends, have fun with it by adding it in art or crafts, mood boards or on top of flags. We'd really have to milk it for it to take off.

So, if any graphic designers or people who have any ideas see this, feel free to take a crack at it. If we wanted to take the plunge we'd either have to make one everyone instantly resonates with or we'd have multiple goes trying to figure it out with the input from the community. So, how do people feel about this?
