oooh I got some two character dynamics here from my au that I would love to see hcs on if it’s alright:
Nia and kana
kana and duke
Rebecca and bear
(For this ask game) Of course it's alright! Let's see what we got here.
Nia and Kana Headcanons/Dynamics
Okay, I haven't watched too much AEG. But I'll do my best!
I know Nia loves animals. So what if Kana tells her about different animals they have Japan? And they end up doing a little research project on them together? Might be cute. I don't know.
This next one kinda connects to the first. I also think Nia would help Kana learn how to slow down. This could fit into a episode maybe were they're trying to observe some wild animals and Kana keeps getting too excited to sit still, or is moving to fast. Thus, scaring off the animals. (I have a gut feeling that this is literally an episode that they've already made. I can't say, because I haven't watched it enough. But I just feel it for some reason. Lol.)
I want to put more for them. But I don't think I've watched enough AEG to do so. (Putting that on my to-do list for sure.) I hope these are okay.
Kana and Duke Headcanons/Dynamics
OH MAN. This would be so funny. You would be hearing a lot of "This would never suit his grace!" Lol! I love Duke. Or old Grandpuff as they like to call him! Let's see what we can do with this!
I feel like they would get off to a bumpy start. Kana can't figure out why Duke is such a grump. And Duke is getting driven crazy by how energetic and impulsive Kana is.
But, as is the way in most of these stories, things get worked out. I imagine Kana gets herself in some trouble and Duke helps her out. Then she understands why he has all these rules and sayings and they're actually quite useful. And maybe she even helps him to loosen up a bit have a little fun once in a while.
Also, she ends up being one of the only engines besides Sir Handel and Peter Sam to call him Grandpuff.🥹💖 (Girly gains a new grandpa! Woo!)
This actually ended up being super cute! Now I want to see Duke show up in AEG. Welp, onto the next character set!
Rebecca and Bear Headcanons/Dynamics
Oof. This one is tough. I'm gonna be honest. I've only read fanfiction with Bear. None of the actual books he's in. So if he's horribly mischaracterized, I apologize. (I need to get the original series books. I'm missing out.😭)
I have a feeling they would get on nicely. Bear is surprised that Rebecca isn't the least bit frightened of him. I imagine he's used to people being intimidated by him and the growly noises he makes. And also because he's a diesel.
I just had a thought about Rebecca feeling bad about her wheel slip problems. And Bear (and maybe even Boco), sympathizing with her. Since they too have design flaws that effect their work. It's like an engine disability support club! That would be so cute!
Well, that's all I've got. Sorry I couldn't put more. I've discovered I'm not great at thinking up headcanons.😅 But I hope you like them regardless.
Thanks for the ask!

How to fix 'All Engines Go', an experimental concept:
I've been chatting with @british-hero about TTTE and time and time again AEG has shown up as the black sheep of the franchise (which I understand perfectly, some of the... Err... Choices are a LITTLE questionable at times, but at least it's not the worst of the worst of BWBA am I right?). From remaking specific characters to make them more "appealing to children", to relegating beloved characters to background only, AEG has rubbed old-time fans the wrong way because it's essentially just a reskinned Paw Patrol-type show.
While I haven't exactly grown up with the show, I can definitely see where Rogue is coming from when they twist their nose. And honestly I think I do have a very quick and simple fix for the show's universe. Or, at least Rogue seems to agree with my concept for remaking it:
It's a fairly simple fix but I think it honestly would have benefited the show a lot more if instead of changing characterizations, they just assigned the OG cast teacher positions, and brought in new engines to be the students.
It wouldn't have upset so many longtime fans, and it would have given newer generations a better taste of TTTE while also still having "kid characters" they can relate to.
Honestly the show has a very lovely art style, and aside from making the engines move in VERY BIZARRE ways, it's not badly animated. It's just a pity that Mattel doesn't seem to understand what the audience wants...
But yeah, those are my two cents on this whole thing.
#Thomas and Friends#TTTE#TTTE AEG#british-hero#I really think having the OG cast as the older wiser teachers (who can still learn from their new position) is much better than just#turning thomas percy diesel nia and carly into little kids#it'd show that the engines have grown up overtime and are less likely to get up to shenanigans#while leaving space for the new younger characters to make their own blunders and receive advice from the OGs who made#those same mistakes in their own youth

Imagining that Thomas, Bruno, Percy, and Diesel used to be TERRIFIED of Harold when they were babies because they literally did not leave the yard without an adult (and even then the adults rarely moved them) back then and so they got adjusted to existence and kinda just assumed rolling stock and humans were it, and then suddenly there is something BIG and LOUD and it can FLY and also talk??? They'd all have been terrified at first until Harold was properly introduced to them. After they adjusted to him and decided he wasn't scary anymore, they actually started to get excited when Harold flew by. He'd make stops now and then to meet up with the kids, found it cute how absolutely fascinated they were by him.

Talking Emily
Oh look what I found at work today, umm I want to say I bought her for my sons... BUT umm Emily is my favorite character... It's going to be hard to give her up.
I'm not the biggest AEG fan, it has some decent points and Emily does look cute in this style.
Funny thing is that when I tested her she talked to Thomas, Nia, and really liked talking to Diesel... But she totally gave James the silent treatment. 😄 Seriously the only Emily ship that works for AEG and Emily is like "Nope".

For the asks if it’s alright what’s your takes on Nia and Rebecca or any of the bwba international newbies?
Nia is the same basis as in canon. She was preserved after a usual working life, but she quickly grew bored of museum life. When Thomas came to Kenya on a world tour in 1997, she jumped at the chance to go to Sodor. After coming to Sodor once the tour ended in 1999, she became a utility engine. Personality-wise she is basically a mix of the way she was written in BWBA and AEG. She’s a clever and positive engine, but can be stubborn and reluctant to get rid of a plan.
I don’t have much for Rebecca yet, but she is basically the same as in BWBA. She came to Sodor in 1997 to help with faster trains. Gordon serves as a mentor to her. She is positive and tries to see the good in people, but often feels she can’t live up to those around her.
Most of the international characters live in their home countries and either met Thomas on his world tour or visited Sodor for an event like The Great Railway Show.
Some though live on Sodor-
Ashima, Rajiv, and Shankar are narrow gauge Indian locos. Ashima and Shankar work on the Skarloey, Rajiv lives in the Earl’s Railway Museum.
Gina is the shunter at Knapford Harbour. Her and Thomas tend to bicker.
Shane, Audrey, Aidan, Lorenzo, and Beppe are other exhibits in the Earl’s Railway Museum. Shane, Audrey, and Aidan also received a change in basis.
Ester is part of the Pack.
Ace moved to Elsbridge and is now a nuisance for everyone on Sodor.
Isla lives at Dryaw and still serves as an air ambulance.
Stefano is a ferry that stops at Kirk Ronan.

I have a headcanon that AEG Percy is autistic
Evidence for my headcanon below the cut
Routine and consistency:
In the episode Overnight Stop, we see that Percy has a morning routine. Later in that same episode while on an overnight delivery with Thomas and Nia Percy is unable to sleep at the campsite, and Thomas and Nia remedy this is by making his space as close to what he's used to as possible.
He has a song in the episode Capture the Flag that he sings while delivering the mail that in later episodes we also see him singing/humming while delivering the mail, ex. Whistle Woes, New Mail Engine in Town, and A Very Percy Valentine's Day.
One of the shorts on Youtube features Percy trying to find a spot to nap and being unable to until Thomas takes him back to the sheds, AKA his normal place to sleep.
It's also worth pointing out that Percy seems to be the only one with any kind of consistent delivery, while the rest of his friends get assorted jobs that need to be done, Percy always delivers the mail either as his job for the day or in addition to it.
There are multiple instances of Percy having a hard time with social norms, reading others' emotions, and/or nonverbal cues, as well as seeing things from others' perspective. Examples:
In Rules of the Game, Percy says goodbye and just leaves right in the middle of a conversation with Thomas.
In A Wide Delivery, he leaves Thomas to go talk to Nia literally while Sandy was explaining the delivery to them.
In Backwards Day, he asks Gordon(their father/mentor figure who usually assigns them their tasks for the day) to try Backwards Day, which Gordon does, reluctantly. Gordon backs up and comments, "Oh what fun." in a very flat and unamused tone, which Percy doesn't pick up on and shouts in delight that Gordon likes Backwards Day.
In Mystery Boxcars, while the group is trying to solve the riddle in the boxcar in the mine(Thomas, Sandy, Carly, Kana, and Percy are all working on a scavenger hunt set up unbeknownst to them by Gordon), Percy starts wandering around thinking about the riddle, not paying attention to the rest of the group who are standing in one spot and figuring it out, and when Percy gets it, he jumps back into the middle of the group and tells them he's got the answer.
In The Tiger Train, he makes a very tactless remark to Thomas that was the exact opposite of helpful for Thomas at that moment("Well, you might not be the bravest engine on Sodor, but at least you got to see Yong Bao leap bravely to the rescue!") and Thomas' reaction doesn't tip him off that it was tactless.
In Thomas and Percy's Eggcellent Adventure, he seemingly doesn't realize Thomas is hurt by the reminders of the times he's messed up on deliveries and so Percy takes Thomas' "Name one time!" literally and helps Gordon brainstorm times Thomas has messed up on deliveries.
In Whistle Woes, he seems to have a hard time really grasping that Thomas doesn't like that his whistle sounds funny and is attracting birds.
The whole episode of An UnbeLEAFable Day is Percy being determined to change Thomas' mind about fall because he thinks it's great and wants Thomas to think so too.
In a Rusty Rescue, Percy offers for Thomas and him to get Diesel another oil can to replace Rusty(an oil can Diesel was very attached to that Thomas seemed to have lost at the time). This is reminiscent of the time in Percy's Lucky Bell where Thomas gave Percy another bells because Thomas lost Percy's and Percy went "It's not the same thing!" yet he doesn't realize until Diesel rejects his offer that getting Diesel a different can won't help.
In Song of Sodor, when Sir Topham Hatt is clearly very excited about the new benches, Percy makes absolutely no attempt to hide the fact that he's pretty disappointed.
In Ashima's Amazing Arrival, Percy brings 6 skunks in place of a tiger to Ashima's welcome party, and while Thomas is kinda freaking out about it, Percy is completely unfazed and in fact continues to think it was an amazing idea even after Thomas seemed a little freaked out over the idea of just *one* skunk.
In Christmas Mountain, while Thomas, Bruno, and Percy are looking for a replacement Christmas tree, Percy suggests he could be the tree, since trees are green and so is he. Bruno gives a pretty obvious face of disbelief and Percy goes "I know. It's amazing."
In The Big Skunk Funk, Thomas tells Percy that maybe he should take over the rose delivery, (as Thomas doesn't think he can do it due to smelling really bad after being sprayed by a skunk) and Percy responds with “Really? You mean it? Wow. What a huge honor!” which was. . . not the most considerate way he could have reacted.
In Not-So-Secret Mission, Percy has to be told by Thomas to be quieter despite it being apparent from Thomas' face something was wrong.
In Retrieve the Kraken, when Percy describes the situation to Sir Topham Hatt, he says “And, we thought it was going to eat the mail.”, even though that was something only he was worried about. So not only does he do the whole “this thing is important to me so clearly it must have been important to everyone else” thing, but he also doesn’t end up realizing he said anything weird until he looks over at everyone else and sees them looking at him with “What?” faces. Even then, he seems to not entirely get why they’re looking at him like that, as instead of clarifying only he was worried about the mail being eaten, he adds on “Oh! And, also us,” making the statement “We were worried the sea monster would eat the mail and us.”
In Bruno’s Map Mishap, Percy comes up to Thomas and Bruno, who both are clearly upset about something, and he doesn’t notice this even after saying hello and getting unenthusiastic “hey”s from both of them. He then makes a joke about their response, to which they both sigh, clearly not amused by the joke, which is what tips Percy off that something’s wrong.
In Seeking A Safer Sodor, when Emily explains that the safety measures are a bit overboard and they need to be taken down, Percy can’t understand why and gets upset because he thinks they aren’t overboard and they are needed.
In A Cranky Goodbye, Percy completely doesn’t understand why Cranky is upset and not happy for Bulstrode since, as he puts it, “Everybody likes a fresh coat of paint!” and Thomas explains it to him by relating the situation to their friendship.
In the Great Bubbly Build, Percy seems to not realize that Sandy was referring to Tess when she was being passive aggressive about the crates, and also seems to not even realize she was being passive aggressive in the first place.
In The Accidental Bad Guy, Percy genuinely doesn’t understand what he did wrong to make Kana and Diesel mad at him because he thought they were just playing a game and that his tactics were fair game. In his own words, “Why are Kana and Diesel so upset with me for being good at playing the bad guy?!”
In the Youtube short Surprise!, Percy is completely oblivious to Diesel's growing frustrations about not being able to be Percy at the game.
Stimming:
Percy has a lucky bell and during Race for the Sodor Cup he says, "When I get scared, I ring my lucky bell and it calms me right down. *ring his lucky bell a few times* And then, I can do almost anything." His lucky bell ringing seems to be a stim for him.
He seemed to also be stimming in the episode A Light Delivery(he kept saying “bling bling” while the engines were acting out the festival of lights in the shed)
In The Biggest Adventure Club he starts doing the engine equivalent of running in place when he gets anxious from hearing Carly excitedly go on about all the things she hopes are in the mine.
In Overnight Stop he starts stimming by pacing while he's freaking out about how he just can't sleep at the campsite because everything is just "too different."
In the Mystery of Lookout Mountain he once again starts stimming by pacing when his Biggest Adventure Machine goes missing; you can see it in the background as Thomas is coupling up to Bruno.
In The Great Bubbly Build while Nia is taking her turn in the train wash, when Percy has reached his limit and says anxiously that he can’t wait anymore and he has to get the rust off, he does a little running in place thing.
Special Interests:
He ABSOLUTELY has a special interest in the mail
He also collects stamps
He also seems to have a special interest in bells, with Thomas even remarking in the episode More Cowbell "I should've known better than to give Percy a *bell*."
There's a part in Bruno's Map Mishap where Bruno, who has a special interest in mapping out places and routes, tells Thomas "I don't need a map to know where I am. I need it because it made me feel good." Thomas responds by saying, "I get it. Percy's like that with his lucky bell."
In the episode A New View for Thomas, Percy says that he told everyone about how Thomas and him helped Harold and that they might get to see him flying in Vicarstown after he was fixed. This implies he sought out his friends specifically to tell them about these things. Almost as if he was hyperfixating or something.
As seen in the episode Percy’s Duck Dilemma, Percy becomes so focused and busy with the ducks at the Duck Pond that he loses track of what time of year it is.
Many autistic people have a strong attention to detail, and Percy seems to as well. In one of the Youtube Train School shorts, he says he has an eye for detail. In New Mail Engine in Town, when he sees how Nia has left the mail while she was delivering it when he couldn't, he remarks that her delivery is very fast, but she could be neater about it, and proceeds to put the mail in a nice neat pile. In Brand New Track, Percy remarks to Thomas, who is complaining about how there never is anything new to see on the route to Cronk, “Yeah, but on the other hand, that crooked tree over by Wellsworth is leaning over more. So that’s new.” And in The Smells of Sodor, Percy notices before Thomas all three times whether Thomas’ nose is twitching or not from the car they were chasing.
Taking things literally:
In Hide and Surprise, Percy asks if Diesel’s sure he wants to go at the game again, to which Diesel replies with “Does a chimney head blow steam?” Percy takes the question literally and says, “I do”.
From Good As New: Thomas - “If Whiff can make an old tanker car into a vacuum, why can’t we do that with Boxy?” Percy - “Turn him into a vacuum?”
In The Mystery of Lookout Mountain, Percy says that Diesel said funny things have been happening around the mine, and Thomas tries to make a joke. However, Percy doesn’t realize it was a joke.
Later in that same special, when discussing what’s going on with the “disappearing” boxcars, Thomas says that there must be a better explanation, to which Percy replies “Oh good. What is it?”.
In Seeking a Safer Sodor, James asks the rhetorical question “Is that a cow?!” as an “are you kidding me” statement. Percy doesn’t realize it’s rhetorical and answers James’ question with an “Um, obviously!”.
In Nia’s Green Surprise, Percy hears that the flower he delivered is called a Spider Lily and thinks this means he was literally carrying spiders.
Fine motor skills don't really seem to be Percy's strong suit. For example:
In Race for the Sodor Cup, when Kana zooms across the crossing, the wind from her passing causes Percy to lose his balance and fall on his side. Later when Thomas, Kana, Nia, Kenji, and him are scoping out the track, at the beach he can’t stop in time and slips into the water.
In Something to Remember, he can’t stop in time and bumps into Carly, causing a chain event that causes the crystal to fall into the water.
In New Mail Engine in Town, he causes a huge mess while trying to simply help move some cars.
Later in that same episode he falls on his side after dropping down from Cranky's hook.
In Not-So-Secret Mission, Percy knocks over a pile of cans while laughing.
He also seems to have sensory issues, with hearing and touch seemingly being the senses that are heightened for him.
He really vibes with certain sounds such as his Biggest Adventure Machine, the sounds at the docks, the rattle of puzzle pieces, and his lucky bell. In Overnight Stop one of the big things that stressed him out was all the weird noises. In Roller Coasting, every time the coaster would get close to him and therefore louder he would get noticeably more uncomfortable and scared(I'm gonna come back to this one). In A Rusty Rescue, he is VERY bothered by Thomas’s squeaky wheel, and keeps letting out squeaks of discomfort when the wheel squeaks. While he tells Thomas they probably shouldn’t go into Diesel's space without his permission, Thomas’s squeaky wheel bugs him so much that he kinda doubles back on it and suggests getting the oil can without going into Diesel’s stall. Literally the entire rest of A Rusty Rescue happens because Percy hated the squeaky wheel that much.
He likes "cozy" things, as seen in Roller Coasting and An UnbeLEAFable Day. While we've seen him many times get really close to Thomas when he's happy or excited(for example License to Delivery, The Real Number 1, and Whistle Woes), in Letting Off Steam he tells Thomas to "stop crowding him" when he was feeling frustrated/annoyed. Percy likes playing in mud(we found this out from Thomas in the episode Percy Disappears), which Thomas remarked in the episode Rules of the Game that it felt good on his gears. And from Whiteout!, there's this line: "Sights, smells, and sounds aside, I know it's McCole's because their hay always feels the softest."
In Goodbye Ghost Scaring Machine, Percy remarks that he loves splashing in the puddles, which would engage both hearing and touch.
In Percy's Lucky Bell, Percy tells Thomas Thomas his bell “likes having a nightlight when it goes to sleep”. Considering this is something Percy likes, it’s pretty safe to assume when he says the bell doesn’t like loud noises, that’s him projecting onto his bell as well.
In Roller Coasting, Percy's fear of the roller coasters seems to me like it stems from overstimulation, based on the way Percy describes it.(Kana - "Roller coasters are the best :)". Percy - "Yeah, if you like *screaming*!)(Thomas - "But, I thought you liked roller coasters Percy." Percy - "I do! From far away. Up close they're so fast, and so screamy, and so upsidedown-y, so, so-") Also, Percy ends up really liking the thrill of a roller coaster. . . when they break it into smaller parts and try each part piece by piece, as well as it being considerably less loud due to less people and events in the area.
Also in that same episode, we learn Percy's scared of vacuum cleaners, which seems like kind of a weird thing for an engine to be scared of. . . until you remember vacuum cleaners are pretty darn loud.
In The Can-Do Submarine Crew, Percy gets completely overwhelmed by all the whistle signals Thomas is trying to tell him.
In Blackout!, Percy says this in regards to thunderstorms - "Sorry. Just not a big fan of scary flashes, and loud bangs!" Sounds like a sensory issue to me.
In The Big Skunk Funk, when Percy’s preparing to head out with the roses, he realizes he has sand in his gears, and says very specifically “Oh I do *not* like how that feels.” Despite his excitement to bring the roses to the event, he says he can’t make it to Vicarstown with the sand in his gears. While Thomas goes to try and find someone who can take it at the station, Percy immediately goes to wait for Sandy’s train wash. He had the ability to go and do something else as the wash wasn’t ready yet, but seemingly he would rather go there and wait than deal with the feeling of the sand.
In The Great Bubbly Build, when Percy gets splashed in sea water, he complains to Cranky that he got him “all saltwater-y!” And by the way, this was BEFORE Salty came and told him that the saltwater would make him rust. Seems Percy really doesn’t like grainy textures.
Later in that same special, after Percy goes through Sandy’s train wash and finds himself covered in rubber ducks, at first he’s a bit weirded out but ultimately ok with all the ducks on him, until one falls, squeaks loudly, and startles him, causing more ducks to fall and squeak loudly, and THAT’S when he starts freaking out, giving the impression that it was the sounds that were freaking him out.
In What’s the Buzz?, Percy is the only engine besides Thomas(who’s funnel the bees are currently residing in so it makes sense he’s awakened) who’s woken up by the bee’s buzzing.
In Bruno’s Blustery Day, when Percy is anxious while going through the Dark Woods, it once again seems to be all the sounds that are freaking him out, and when Bruno gives him their headphones, Percy pretty quickly relaxes.
Percy’s anxiety is also worth pointing out, as research has shown that autistic people seem to be more prone to experiencing anxiety. The most common form, according to the Autism Research Institute, is specific phobias, which lines up well with Percy’s many different specific fears, such as the dark, heights, creepy crawlies, and thunderstorms.
(Sorry if this point is a bit confusing, I always have trouble wording this one)There's a scene in Pop a Wheelie where Percy starts using nonverbal communication to communicate with Thomas and Diesel that someone had derailed and needed help. Now this could have just been because he was out of breath, but 1. we've seen him talk while out of breath before, and 2. it literally takes two words to say “someone derailed”, and what he was doing definitely also would take, like, the same amount if not more of energy than to say, “someone derailed”, and he was making incoherent sounds, which kinda gives off the impression he resorted to it because he felt could get his point across better and/or faster with nonverbal communication, likely because he couldn't find the words at the time. The fact that once he starts using words he still points in the direction of the station while saying the name supports that this was in fact what happened, because Thomas and Diesel know where the station is he didn’t have to point. Like basically even though he was using verbal language at that point he was also still using gestural engagement.
I’d also like to point out that the fact that Diesel and Thomas are pretty easily able to understand the method of how Percy’s trying to tell them something and the fact that neither of them are surprised by Percy using this method to communicate indicates to me that this is not the first time this has happened.
In New Mail Engine in Town, fixed mindsets and black and white thinking are things Percy was definitely struggling with, in essence his train of thought was: I’ll never be as fast at the mail as Nia, so obviously no one is going to want me to do the mail, and I should just give up and let Nia do it and find something else to do(“But who’d want me to deliver the mail when Nia’s so much faster and more efficient?”). In addition, I feel like it's very likely he didn't get that Sir Topham Hatt was being generous with his description of Nia's mail run, and that's why he becomes really focussed on the fact that Nia delivers the mail really fast because Sir Topham Hatt kept mentioning that.(Sir Topham Hatt - “Thanks for your help with the mail! You um. . . you delivered the mail very quickly.” “Percy is lucky to have such an. . . efficient replacement.” “Well then Percy, you rest. The mail will be in very rushed I mean good hands I mean wheels I mean um I mean good day.”)
Percy also seems to be struggling with fixed mindsets in Seeking a Safer Sodor, because even when Thomas mentions the mail hasn’t been delivered, Percy basically just goes 'It can’t be helped, it’s too dangerous out there, I’m not going anywhere', not even asking if Thomas could take the mail for him or something, just 'I can’t deliver the mail because it’s too dangerous, I guess it’s just gonna sit there.'
In The Great Bubbly Build, when Sandy comes looking for Carly, Percy tells her that Carly’s “certainly not in one of these crates here” in a very suspicious tone, which makes Sandy suspicious, but as it turns out, Percy wasn’t trying to hide or imply that she was in a crate, and instead was being genuine. Meaning he accidentally used a tone that implied the opposite of what he was trying to convey.
He clearly has a pull towards and a strong connection with animals. Examples include butterflies(Tunnel Trouble, Percy in the Middle), ducks(Percy Disappears, Duck Duck Woosh, Percy’s Duck Dilemma, The Accidental Bad Guy), skunks(Ashima’s Amazing Arrival), cows(Calliope Crack-Up, Letting Off Steam, and Bells are Ringing), sheep(Calliope Crack-Up, Bad Luck Boxcar), and fish(Fast Friends).
Lastly, Percy is bad at lying. A Light Delivery, Nia’s Surprising Surprise, Not-So-Secret Mission, and Percy’s Little Problem all show that when put into a position where he has to keep a secret, or in the case of the first one actually outright lie, he tends to act very unnatural and a bit panicked. And in the case of Percy’s Little Problem, after James goes by, Percy tries to change his original lie, but accidentally says the truth before correcting it to a lie. Usually this kind of thing can be explained by characters in children's media being bad at lying to let the audience know they’re lying, but in this case none of the other kids are as obvious about it as Percy is.
Thomas even says that there’s “no one more honest than (Percy)” in the episode Percy in the Middle.

for the ship asks here’s some of my ships from my au:
Nia x kana
Msr/rws narrow gauge Stanley x Kyle/proteus
duke x kwaku
Henry x bear x hiro
Duncan x madge
Oof. I haven't heard of most of these.😂 Okay, let's see.
Nia x Kana: 💚 It seems alright. I haven't watched too much AEG unfortunately. So that's all I can say.
Msr/rws narrow gauge Stanley x Kyle/proteus: 💙 I actually haven't heard of Stanley, so I'm not really sure about this one.
Duke x Kwaku: 💜 I can't personally see them as an item, but I think they would get along nicely as friends.
Henry x bear x hiro: 💜 I see Hiro and Henry as friends personally. Bear x Henry is kinda cute though.
Duncan x Madge: 💚 It seems like a cute ship. Not my cup of tea. But certainly a very good ship.
And, that's it! I really hope I didn't make you feel bad about any of your ships. I was really worried about that happening when I reblogged this ask game.😭 I have very few ships I get super enthusiastic about, so sometimes it hard for me to participate in the shipping side of their fandom. (I'm more of a Platonic and Family relationship kinda girly) Lol. But I appreciate you sharing your ships with me!😁
Ugh, okay. Words aren't wording. This probably all sounded stupid. Thanks for sending this in! It was fun!

part 2:
Nia: I still have no idea how I’m attracted to you... Kana: Yeah, well, you’re stuck with me, and no take backs, honey.
shhshshs she saw kana get into a fight with Felipe and Frederica (my au take on those aeg sodor cup special twins) won and caused property damage in less than 5 seconds-
Kyle: I think I need a hug... Stanley: Good thing I'm hug shaped! *45 minutes later* Kyle: You... you can let go now. Stanley: No, I absolutely cannot.
Kyle, Stanley saw your burned remains and blamed himself and was blamed for decades he thought he was hallucinating when he saw you again after having his mind erased, thankfully Kyle took it in stride they both got happy tears-
Stanley: Show me Pennsylvania.
Kana: I don’t know Canadian geography.
she’s just messing with the little engines Stanley doesn’t even know much about the states he got immediately overseas which is true for his irl basis so that’s pretty neat, i low key think they’ll get along
Bonus:
Duke: I’m allergic to death. (That’s is so fitting for canon I’m wheezing despite my au he and the remaining msr gang go to the Skarloey Kyle (in the lucky lamp) though I feel like this also fits him but my dude was pulling so many strings-)
Okay first: Kana, you are a hyper gremlin and I also have no idea how Nia is even attracted to you.
Second: Proteus, Stanley literally cried when he saw that you were actually okay. Just let the dude hug you as tight as possible.
Third: We have our engine idiots who don't know what geography is all about.
Finally: Goddamn Duke, I think Lady loves you a bit too much. 😂😂😂😂

I’ll be honest, I’m one who finds it JUST SLIGHTLY better. The thing is, at the end of the day, it’s a subjective opinion. There r people who positively adore AEG. I may question their judgement, but it’s not something to not trust someone over.
That being said, BWBA n AEG are both bad in different ways. The reasoning for me is that as bad as BWBA is, I can at least enjoy the engines, even if the plots are annoying. With AEG, I’m just annoyed in general by it. I’m not into the engines being bouncy weeuns, or having grinding voices, constantly pestering Gordon. Their personalities are all as flat as nia n Rebecca in BWBA, but worse. In fact, nia has become more annoying in AEG. I don’t hate her or Rebecca in BWBA as engines, I hate how their characters were written, and of course how they replaced Henry and Edward. Like I said, if AEG was a completely different franchise, then whatever. BWBA is bad, but at least I can recognise the characters n enjoy them n me own way, with me own imagination.
