Adam x reader dating headcanons

I know no one is requesting this but I heart Adam so it's happening

1) he doesn't ever hold your hand, that's too cutesy for him. Instead he likes to lean his arm around your shoulders.

2) he's protective, but not possessive. He loves when the two of you go out and you get all dolled up, he takes real pride in slinging his arm round you and giving evils to any guy that looks at you. He's been known to brag "you're the hottest person in this bar and you're all mine"

3) romantic dates aren't really his thing. He's not the type of guy to take you to dinner, but you don't really mind. Instead, he loves just staying in with some beers, ordering wings and watching a film together.

4) he takes you to a lot of parties, mainly just to show you off (like I said before, he REALLY loves knowing that everyone wants you, but only he can have you). On the walk home he always finds a way to keep the pair of you entertained. There's nothing better than drunkenly walking home at 2am with Adam and taking a slight detour to mess about in a playground, Adam always wants to push you on a swing to see how high he can get you.

5) for special occasions where gifts are part of the protocol, his usual option is jewellery. He splashes out on a nice necklace or a pair of fancy earrings, every time telling you "just don't ask how I paid for them".

6) he loves, and I mean LOVES playing with your hair. He's a very fidgety guy, so he's always twirling your hair around his fingers, or stroking it while you're cuddling.

7) you help him look after Charlie, which he's really grateful for, since it takes some of the pressure off him. In private he gets quite sentimental about how you dress Charlie's wounds and fix him up something to eat whenever he shows up on the doorstep. He thinks you'd make a great mother, but he never says anything because he doesn't want to scare you off by letting you know he's already thinking that far ahead.

8) he LOVES choosing your outfits. If you ask him "this dress or that one?" It really excites him. Just knowing that you're going out wearing something specifically because he said so just DOES SOMETHING to him.

9) when he's out with the guys he can't help but brag about you. Always pulling up pictures of you and saying "smokin right?". He tries to play it off like laddish locker room talk, but everyone can tell he's absolutely smitten and just wants any excuse to talk about you.

10) the first time he ever said "I love you" was when he was violently hungover and you'd gone out of your way to come round and nurse him back to health (something which he usually had to do himself). You'd been hand feeding him soup and telling him "everything's okay, we'll get you all fixed up", and he just couldn't contain it anymore. He smiled at you weakly and "I love you" just slipped out.

He shouldn’t be this down bad for his friends younger sister. He feels so bad about it. But the moment he saw you he know he was fucked.

You had met after a rough night for Charlie, your father wouldn’t agree but you had to help, he was your brother. You found him at Adam’s house, he packed his things, preparing himself while you turned your attention to Adam. His eyes were on you, a smile on his face as he licked his lips.

From then on it felt like the two of you kept meeting. At Charlie’s performance night thing, when he went to find Eva, and at a club.

You weren’t much of a club goer, but your friends convinced you to get all dolled up and get laid. You stood near the bar, looking for your friends who had gone off into the crowd. That’s when you saw him. He had already seen you. His eyes were on your body. He looked up, meeting your gaze as you slowly smiled at him.

He made his way over to you, completely ignoring the last girl he was talking to. He stood next to you, the both of you glancing at each other. “Good to see you” he looks at you, a small smirk on his face. You turned to him, giggling slightly as you talked to each other.

It didn’t take him long to try get his hands on your body, touching your hand, holding your waist, dancing with you. He pulls you off to the side, both of you starting to get drunk. He looks from your eyes to your lips before he kisses you. It’s hungry and desperate. His hands move to your waist as yours move to his neck. He knows he shouldn’t. He knows Charlie would be pissed if he found out. But you’re just so pretty.

He takes you back to his place, calling it messy is an understatement. But that doesn’t matter. The both of you practically fall onto his bed, your hands are in his hair as he makes quick work of your clothes. He leaves a trail of hickeys down your neck. One hand rests on the back of your knee as his other hand moves down, he rubs circles into your clit before he shoves one of his fingers inside you causing you to whimper. He pumps it in and out of you, muttering about how pretty you look as he adds another finger.

He grabs a condom (though he’d do anything to fuck you raw) and quickly puts it on, wanting to be inside of you so bad. It stung for a few seconds, “it’s ok baby” he whispered in your ear before he sat up, looking at your pretty pussy taking him whole. His hands were back on your waist as he thrusted in and out of you, his speed picking up as you gripped the sheets.

Adam buried his face in the crook of your neck, grunting and moaning as your hands moved to his back, leaving scratches for him to discover later. His hands moved over your body, to your thighs, to your hips, to your chest.

He continued leaving hickeys and bite marks all over your neck as he fondled your tits. Was fucking his best friends sister wrong? Probably. Was he gonna stop now? Fuck no. He was addicted to you.

Anything you wanted he’d give it to you. Drugs, alcohol, sex, he’d give you everything. You definitely went for at least 2 rounds, and by the end you were passed out in his arms. And he definitely wasn’t letting you go.

Do you know what I love about Hazbin Hotel though?

That the angels are clearly sinners too.

Not only the fact that Adam curses all the time and talks about casual sex (which, he’s possibly even cheating on his wife then??) but also, the angels kill demons and Adam even admits they enjoy doing so. He calls it entertainment.

And Vivienne’s making an excellent point: when you do something bad to a group of people who are considered beneath them, minorities, everything else…

What you do to them suddenly isn’t bad. It’s okay now, it’s righteous, because you’ve dehumanized these people.

And then when they try to fight back? Like the single slain angel exterminator? Well then magically it’s a problem.

When Lute said that “the only reason [Charlie’s] still around” is that Lucifer gave her and all the hell-borns some kind of pardon or protection from being killed in these exterminations, I was like ok, that makes sense. I was starting to wonder/assume that the extermination was something that only applied to sinners because it didn’t seem to affect any of our Helluva Boss cast.

But then I was like, wait, why would they want to kill hell-borns anyway? For sinners you could argue that they “earned” it through their bad deeds, but hell-born have no choice but to be born there? And they seem to have a functioning society, just one that’s “edgier” than human society. Also, plenty of the hell-born are good people?

But THEN, I remembered that is a fundamentalist Christian belief: that you can already be born bad, and that the same deeds can be good or bad depending on who’s doing them. Lute taunts Charlie that her life doesn’t matter…that’s a sin, right? Except no it isn’t, because of who’s doing it and to whom.

I love queer people’s takes on Heaven and Hell, they’re always great.
