#asking for my own curiosity really #whump prompt #oc prompt #conditioned whumpee #whump scenario #whump #my prompts #i can answer this for delta #delta definitely knows what conditioning is and could give you a point by point rundown of the different kinds and how they work in psych #but he can not put two and two together when it comes to how he himself has been conditioned. at least not for a very long time.#delta achieves a surprising amount of awareness about the realities of his own situation. but his own abuse is one of the #last things he ever questions. its just so integral to his life he cant comprehend that its wrong.

#Correspondence.#sockdooe #Takashi Shirogane #Shiro #You're nothingness but shining and everywhere at once.#Allura #Hunk Garrett #Keith Kogane #Pidge Holt #Katie Holt #Lance McClain #Voltron: Legendary Defender #It IS a really nice piece with a ton of personality but I hate a lot of what it represents.#Specifically how Allura is just sort of thrown in there like an awkward Token Female when she's one of the most important people in the #entire series.#And of course the sidelining and eventual nerfing of Shiro because the writers simply HAD to get him out of the way to achieve their #desired team line-up.#Until they were delivered the ultimate reality check in the form of an order from the higher-ups that they couldn't permanently kill a #popular character who also happens to be a gay man #leaving them scrambling like the clowns they were to figure out how to reintegrate him into the story.#Then the voice actor for *their* 'Chosen One' had scheduling conflicts that made him unavailable to them for a significant chunk of time.#Call me petty but I call that karma.#If they hadn't been dead set on killing Shiro they could have avoided the entire ridiculous clone plot because he still would have been #a member of the team and easily able to step back into his previous role of Black Paladin had Steven Yeun's outside job commitments #unavoidably necessitated Keith being M.I.A. for a period.#But I expect too much of showrunners who couldn't handle having a disabled main lead and exploited his sexuality for internet brownie #points despite having every intention of killing him and keeping him dead.

yesterday i was like oh no i couldn't possibly try to bull my way through more who rewatch or new material it's simply not feasible ive got too much else going on . but i checked and the last place i left off rewatch-wise was 'age of steel' which of course is a perennial favorite due to the mickey ricky jake of it all so

#i have this whole unwritten betweentime fic spanning the end of age of steel and the beginning of doomsday #between mickey and jake in which mickey is a) convinced he's straight and b) an absolute gentleman in all things #and therefore c) not even TRYING to kindle anything bc he's trying as hard as he can to downplay his resemblance to a grieving man's lover #but jake is torn between the memory of ricky (kind of a prick but then so was jake. they were both assholes and they were in love)#and the reality of mickey (world's sweetest guy ever. born to please. has taken jake round to his grandma's multiple times)#and he's like but i could NEVER. he's straight and it'd be disloyal to ricky #and they both think the other one will be hurt more if they do something. while also both thinking. there's nothing TO do.#(they're both wrong. culminates in some deeply english ladsex when they're both high on achievement after liberating paris)#dr who #and substances. they're also high on substances
