These undoubtedly long lists included dozens of crows, a hundred friendly smiles, and at least one cake from Caesari, a bakery chain known throughout the city and several coastal villages. Her voice sounded so iridescent and inspiring that Sophie thought that if she looked out the window, she would see hundreds of bars of pure gold, and not a bakery. Lettie, on the other hand, was always gazing out at the river at the edge of the pier — wiser in those years, she always asked her older sister when she would be able to see the sea up close. She knew that it was mostly Sophie's dream, and that made her sigh even heavier."

"In order to stay together and look after their father's condition, each of the three sisters went to the same small school on the outskirts of the city, where an old, tired middle school teacher kept repeatedly highlighting Martha's talent for the sciences. At that time, Lettie would indiscriminately raise her hand to answer every question, while Sophie would sit quietly at the back of the class, deep in a book or darning another handkerchief."

"Martha had brought at least a dozen dresses, recipes and books with every possible inscription, struggling to fit them into the two small suitcases she had chose for herself. Sophie tried to help her by pushing down on the lid of the suitcase from above, causing it to slam shut with a dull protesting sound. Lettie sorted out her own belongings quite quickly, and it seemed that all her clothes could easily fit into one small, narrow square. Sophie walked over to her thoughtfully, looking around her, as she had brought only a single sewing book and two grey dresses."

If she has a chance to humiliate him, in face of the legendary epitome of noble warrior built around him during the centuries, she will do it gladly, not even hiding a smirking during the whole time. As socials love cats, who is she to deprive the socials from pics of Merlin the grumpy serval? The fact that Arthur is sleeping in an idiotic pose on the background is just a bonus point.

About the AU The story is a sequel to the The Pendragon Sibling. Eventually, the druid give the royal couple a serval as gift for their renowned peace between the throne and the magic people. The servan turns out to be a very magical boy. At the same time Morgana acquires a puma, who happens to be the disguise of an High Priestess. I elaborated a bit here. * Not even the union of the Pendragon siblings, as King of Lands and Queen of Avalon and royal couple ruling over Camelot, with Morgause the High Priestesses of the old religion and Emrys the immortal dragonlord as their shadows and mates, is enough to prevent Arthurs tragic end at Camlann at the hands of the traitor Mordred. After Camlann, Merlin withdraws in his own pain, while Queen Morgana rules wisely for the next decades, assuring that the golden age of Camelot continues. When the time to retire from the mortal life comes, Morgana, with her loyal companion Morgause and Merlin, retires on the island at the center of the lake Avalon, taking residence in the tower standing there. Centuries pass, between long sleeps and new lives in the world outside. But magic, for a series or undisclosed circumstances, have been slowly fading in the lands outside of Avalon since the Siblings balance was lost with the death of Arthur. The more they are away from the island, center of the Old Magic, the more the contact is faint, and both Morgause and Merlin feel the need to stay in their animal forms. Until magic is so weak that they are stuck in their animal form even when staying at the tower. In the 21th century Morgana is following an academic career. Every morning, during breakfast, she keeps the tv on to make some background sounds. One morning the BBC's morning program suddenly switches to a live from the town of Avalon, for news about some odd happenings at the lake. The country wonders if this is the day when King Arthur will finally raise. There has been many false alarm. This morning is different, though. Morgana, with her two felines, rushes to the lake through magic and is there to see Arthur emerge from the waters. Merlin, a one-century-and-half ancient serval, attacks everyone present, Arthur included, and Arthur himself is forced to draw Excalibur to suffuse the situation, before his sister is arrested and his feline mate put down as the rabid cat he is. After the necessary time to familiarize with a world that is completely different from the one he remembers, Morgana introduces Arthur to the marvels of the socials and together they become Twitter stars, entertaining people with their commentaries on Arthurian-related productions and their bickering. Between Morgana's interviews and bits shared by Arthur on socials, the world is revealed that the Matter of Britain is mostly made of lies and exaggerations. BBC reaches out to Morgana to collaborate to write a series that would tell the true story of the Pendragons. Morgana launches herself in the project with eagerness. As the search for a proper location to set Camelot is about to start, Morgana hints that she might has the original castle miniaturized and preserved by magic and she would be amenable to make available as set, as long as the production covers the costs of restoration. Thus the Pendragons get their old nest back restored to its golden days free of charge, and Arthur can return to live in his natural habitat. Eventually, the true identity and nature of the felines, believed to be just animals given immortality by magic and relics of the golden age of Camelot, will be revealed, But that's another story for another time.

Notes Initially, this - the original screencap minus the serval - was supposed to be an Instagram-mock shared by the Merlin of the National Treasure instagram AU, but I didn't have the text ready and was thus stuck since 2018. Some months ago I decided to switch the poster from Merlin to the Morgana of this AU. It made no sense for Morgana to share a pic of her sleeping brother without Merlin the serval around, so the idea of putting a serval on the bed came. Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip) A nightmare. I couldn't find a serval pic that fit with the perspective required. And when I did, they came with dark shadows on their legs I couldn't fix. So I had to use the blankets to mask here and there, which came with another challenge on its own. Instagram graphic made all by-hand, with much moving/copy/pasting and, especially, a wearying research to find out which font the website used. No template site. Since I created my own template, it won't reflect any future changes the platform might make (I have no intention of modify my template).

wip game - modern royalty au

Thank you @nuttersinc for the tag for the WIP game. I don't know if this one is ever going to see the light of day - but here's an extract anyway ...

A key turned in the lock. It startled Arthur from deep in a book that he’d been reading to try and distract himself, while he waited for the last hours of an awful day to drag themselves to their unsatisfying end.  “Morgana?” he called out, a little tension in his tone, as he strained to see who was clipping down his hallway, even though it could hardly be anyone else – keys to royal apartments generally weren't handed out to all and sundry, after all. Her familiar, quick, sharp steps reassured him even before he could see her, and by the time she reached his sitting room he was already lounging back against the arm of the sofa, pretending to be deep in the book, his habitual mask of nonchalance back in place. “Brother mine,” she greeted him, as she lent down and brushed a peck over his forehead. He glanced up but she’d already turned away from him and was putting her bags on the armchair, so she didn’t see the fondness in his smile. There was a tenseness across her shoulders and she sighed quietly as she slipped off her heels. She undid the chain on a heavy, gold pendant she was wearing over her black, cashmere jumper and rolled her shoulders as she dropped it into her enormous handbag. As she turned back to face Arthur she pulled the clip out of her hair and shook her head, letting her dark ringlets fall across her face. She ran her hand through them and smiled tightly at Arthur. “It says a lot about what cunts most of the people in this palace are, that I am really quite happy to see you.”  Arthur spluttered and then laughed. In his artificially constructed life, his weekly dinner with his no-bullshit, half-sister was a life-saving anomaly. But that was quite an opening line, even for Morgana.  “Let me guess, you have spent the afternoon with father and his advisors? Or Uncle Agravaine? Catrina? Geoffrey?” She sunk onto the other end of the sofa and tucked her stockinged feet under the soft, wool blanket, which he left there because she always had cold toes. Curled up on the sofa, with her hair down, in a black jumper and designer ripped-jeans, she looked so normal – stunningly beautiful of course – but nothing like the ice princess that the papers painted her to be. She yawned and stretched her arms above her head. “I don’t even want to talk about them. How are you?” Arthur didn’t want to talk about any of it either. He shrugged. “Same same. You know.”

The seven deadly sins are gone for several years and during that time Arthur Florence the knights of the round table and becomes very well known throughout the kingdom even more

And he all so meets a traveling knight blue lance (stand in for Lancelot from the story's)

He and Arthur don't start off as friends but after several years of fighting together and then fighting with each other on and off they become good friends and one time after Arthur does manage to beat Lance he asked him to become his right hand Knight after he gets blinded

This is set after like the first season / first Big Arc is over after Leona's was saved I have it where the sins go on a mission for the King after saving the kingdom and they get trapped away in time and end up meeting the ten commandments and they end up trapped away in time for about 7 years you know matching the number of the seven deadly

sins and they come back to big changes throughout Britannia after the demons still do end up coming there and attacking everyone during this time skip Arthur still loses his arm to estarosa but during his fight when he loses his arm and his eyesight he uses Excalibur on him and that's how they find out that he's the Lost archangel I'm actually going to give him more to do in my Au

Because let's be real in the sequel series The only reason Arthur is evil is because Merlin literally gave him all the power of God and it's probably corrupted his mind she probably should have gave him like 20 or 30% of that power we've seen her divide people's Powers before she did it to meliodis I don't know why she couldn't do it to Arthur and have it where he only had like a small percentage or half his power so that's what I'm doing here

He can still change the environment around himself he didn't know how to heal himself till later so that's why he's blind and still missing my arm I won't be adding

Elizabeth is 19 in this version as well when the series first starts cuz I do want to like add some stuff from the beginning Arc into this but I'm going to have it where she's 19

I'm probably not going to introduce escanor till later on because I am not sure what to do with his character as of right now he plays such a big role in later arcs but since he wasn't in the first season really to this season maybe I'll just have it where he shows up at the end after everyone's saved and he just meets back up with everyone and that's how the sands get reformed and then they get sent on a mission they find out the ten commandments are about to come back and then they get trapped away and like some different portal thing that drops them away for 7 years

During this episode of PunchGround, Morgana and Gwen decided to confront the current ABW Women’s Tag Team champions Katara and Toph Beifong (Avatar the Last Airbender). Morgana says she and Gwen are gunning for the titles and that Katara and Toph need to watch their back.

The two teams are then interrupted by the Stark Royalty. Arya and Sansa, who resent both teams in the ring, begin airing out their grievances for the entire audience to hear. That’s when they say something that triggers an all-out brawl between all three teams. The brawl is so bad, the entire women’s division had to enter the arena to break up the fight…

Would he be horrified? Would he be proud? Would he hate them? Who, if any, would he tolerate the most?

Here's a bit of info on all of them (I tried to keep it condensed).

Morgana's son:

Madoc ‘Morgar/Morgie’ Le Fay, 20—was hired on as a bodyguard for Arthur and Gwen’s oldest two sons after they did something very foolish despite only being two years older than them. He's been described as odd, smarter than he lets on, and mysterious—and he is a magic user, like his mother before him (Funnily enough, he fills Merlin's role for the twins. Aka he saves their lives when necessary but doesn't outright spy on them and report back to anyone with that information).

Arwen's Children:

Loholt Pendragon, 15—heir to the throne who spent most of his childhood running around with the servants and knights’ children and the rest in the library and blacksmith’s quarters. Is destined to die of disease in the prison of Sir Caradoc of the Dolorous Tower, if intervention does not occur. Is dating a princess named Angelica.

Llacheu Pendragon, 15—twin of Loholt and possible future ruler of Lady Florie’s kingdom (the princess he is dating). Is destined to be slain in his sleep by his jealous best friend’s hand after slaying a giant if intervention does not occur. Has some magic in him.

Nathalia Pendragon, 13—a studious but fierce princess who is particularly handy with a mace and has many an ally amongst the other princesses. Destined to die a martyr with 11 thousand others during a pilgrimage if no intervention occurs.

Amhar Elyan Pendragon, 13—the first adopted son of Arthur and Gwen, and a Chamberlain. He was studious and always the odd one out in group settings, but was well loved by his family regardless. Is destined to be murdered by a shapeshifter taking on Arthur's form if fate does not intervene.

Iduana Pendragon, 11—a good friend of the staff’s children and a smart, stubborn, sneaky princess who knows how to get what she wants. Later, when she's older, she marries a disgraced prince named Edgar and goes back with him to his kingdom, keeping contact with her family.

Aedulf Pendragon, 10—this wild child of a prince grows up spending most of his free time in the stables, woods, kennels, and other places where he can be around animals. He goes on to become a vigilante dressed in all black under the name 'Morgan Le Noir’ before meeting Isolde's former handmaiden, Brangaene, and falling in love with her. If his older siblings’ fates are not prevented, he becomes the king of Camelot.

Duran Pendragon, 7—a squire who spent most of his childhood inside and fearing of the crows that were prophesied to one day take his life before he went on to become a vigilante named ‘Patrike Le Rous’.

Gwydre Pendragon, 5—a Bard and a Squire with an eye for matching making. He's highly resistant to his parents’ overprotective nature and has a flair for the dramatics. Is destined to be slaughtered by a giant boar if fate does not intervene.

Artie Pendragon, 3—the adoptive son of Arthur and Gwen who was rumored to be Arthur's affair child (which is not true). He's a mischief maker who wants to be just like his dad and is best friends with Merlin's son, Dragonet, and Gwaine's son, Everard.

Melora Pendragon, newborn—the second youngest child of Arthur and Gwen, and the one most willing to attend council meetings. takes up the mantle of 'the Knight of the Blue Surcoat' and goes on a series of quests to save her beloved, Prince Orlando of Thessaly, after he was imprisoned by an imposter of Merlin that Sir Mador sent after him.

Hilde Pendragon, born when Artie is five— the quietest and the most nurturing of the Pendragon siblings. The youngest child who eventually goes on to marry Prince Herthgegn.

Neither Morgie or the Pendragon siblings were raised how Uther raised Arthur and Morgana.

For the five years of Morgie's life that Morgana was alive for, she tried to be a better parent than Uther himself was and she succeeded.

As for Arwen’s kids?

Well, Arthur and Gwen raised them to be true to themselves as well as kind, hardworking, and just. Their children are their world and they didn't let things they found silly prevent their kids from being happy. Their daughters wanna learn sword fighting? Then they learned it. Their sons want to learn magic or how to sew? If it's possible they learn it.

Their kids come first to them.

And when Arthur found out about the orphaned Morgie (when he was twenty) he welcomed him with open arms.

I definitely think that uther would not like Madoc simply because he is a magic user lol. but also he is morgana's son so half of my wants to say that he might be tolerant but i do think the magic thing would just make him hate madoc.

okay now im going to list for arwen kids

Loholt- umm maybe have complicated feelings. i do see uther tolerating loholt but also running around with servants when he doesnt deem servants worthy like uther is looking down on loholt for running around with them. i do think some tolerance but not enough. i did for a second accidentally mess up stuff so hopefully i fixed everything and this now makes sense for loholt.

llacheu- the magic in him would make uther not like him at all lol. complicated feelings again but magic puts a damper in everything that uther talks about or feels about

nathalia- ohhh i think he make like nathalia. uther is a complictaed person especially with how he reacts with his family but i do think i can see him tolerating or even liking nathalia to a certain extent

amhar- sidebit- holy shit thats sad as fuck that if no intervetion that would be his fate. now im sad thinking about if there ois no intervention that he could spend the last moments thinking that arthur killed him. brb sobbing (typing on computer cant do emojis now)

okay side rant over- i think that maybe the adoption thing might set uther off because uther is absolutely traditonal and etc so i can see him just not tolerating amhar. i dont think that uther would hate him but also not have any warm feeling about him

iduana- i see her going with the disgraced king as something that uther would not like at all (after all we did see how he reacts with people that he doesnt deem worthy and etc with gwen while yes its different but also the disrgaced prince lol) anyway i do think he would have complicated feelings about that. like i can see him liking iduna but it puts a damper on everything

aedulf- i think differences of how to behave and etc would affect this relationship high key. ngl i feel like a lot of them are tolerance but not enough and etc because uther feels so familial to me like he wont let disrespect go and etc but also i dont think he high key hates his family. so sorry if i repeat this again lol but tolerance but not enough where it actually matters

duran- he might like duran. hard for me to say right now what i think lol

gwydre- again i feel like this is hard for me to say. uther is sooo complicated in the family category that i think he would do anything for this kid but also at the same time not be willing to change who he is to actually be tolerable towards gwydre

artie- the adoptive thing i think would mess with him and make hi, hostile towards artie especially if its a rumor about an affair child wait actually i think that would make uther have the biggest resentment towards artie like it would be insane. so scratch what i said before i think uther would have a deep hatred towards this kid simply because of everything that everyone said.

melora- i think the knight position may make uther some bit hostile but also he never seemed in canon to have a problem with morgana fighting but also he has strict rules so idk honestly. i think uther would tolerate melora

Hilde- maybe some tolerance but honestly not enough to make it meaningful

lmaooo i did not read the last part before answering any of them but honestly reallll love how they dont follow in uther's footsteps. their kids coming first is everything!!! i think uther thinks of himself like that where his kids are incredibly important to him but it doesnt come across that way and he has different rules in how he operates. so like arthur and gwen's beliefs and how they raised their kids are going to 100% clash with all of uther's beliefs so def a lot of non-tolerance or barely any tolerance lol

does the normal light world gsa also have arthurian names that they choose to hide behind titles/don't use or are their names just different as a gimmick?

what's lord pendragon's dark matter deal? (his design is so cool beans even in sketch form) maybe a soul form or something sphere doomer related?

and what's dragato/galahad's gender situation? It's pretty obvious that galahad is a lot more feminine, but how would that work for them?

Hey, thank you for all the questions!! For some of these I had to consult my bestie since we're building this AU together (he doesn't use tumblr though!)

You can see the names used here! Since they have two sets of names that are commonly used I just chose one set for the mirror counterparts. Arthur doesn't have a second name variant, so I picked Pendragon to stay cohesive!

Well if you asked Lord Pendragon directly, he'd probably say it's just another burden that comes with taking the crown.

Though if you asked his sibling, they'd probably call it the consequences of a rash decision... He's holding it together though! Really, he's fine. It's better that he does it than anyone else right? Couldn't trust anyone else to keep that guy under control. Having to watch out that your own reflection doesn't attack you in your sleep is a small sacrifice to make, isn't it? Yeah.

3. As for the gender situation, Dragato goes by he/him and would most likely describe himself as agender. Meanwhile Lady Galahad is trans, going by she/they!

ive had this idea for like two years now but its finally come to fruition!!!! the librarians as classic dnd!!

now have some thoughts bc ive been thinking about this for a while- eve started as a knight, following orders and guarding some sort of artifact, when flynn breaks in and steals it, flirting with her while he does. she chases him down and finds him in a mysterious library (oooo) and realizes what shes doing is wrong and vows to change and help him (and protect him) on the flip side of things, cassandra and ezekiel are adopted siblings (no i will never let this go why do u ask) moving from town to town bc they keep getting chased out bc of ezekiels werewolfness (and thievery) or cass's magic. they both work to find artifacts, mostly for cass to help her control and learn more, and thats how they meet jake, whos trying to find and return a collection of scrolls and manuscripts to shangri-la. the three work together, and run into eve and flynn as they all try to steal the same thing and start working together bc theyre all after the same goal anyway (keep magic out of the wrong hands)

lil details- eve has the seal of the pendragons on her chest plate, while flynn carries excalibur. cass has heterchromia, which is just a fun thing i did to show her two schools of magic, as well as dragon earrings and wing cape clips as a nod to her au with lamia in s1. ezekiel keeps most of his skin covered, hiding most of his werewolf traits, and jake has the tattoos that the monkey king gave him in s3

Would we catch glimpses as of how Morgana became this way? Like povs from all three of them, and we get flashback of what led her down this path? Maybe both Nimueh and Morgouse got to her when she was still young, before Merlin arrived, and when he did she could put a name to the face she saw on her prophetic dreams, leading her further down the spiral. Meanwhile Merlin and Arthur defeat Nimueh before Morgana is Crowned queen, and Morgause plays a part into her coronation, leading to her death while killing Uther in the process, with the crown rightfully or not passing to Morgana. Would the knights be the dwarfs? Gaius, the huntsman? And Gwen the mirror/animals in the forest?

This is a really good idea for an au with a lot of potential.

RWBY AU Prompt:

--There are Four Foundational Families (one in each: Vale, Mistral, Mantle/Atlas and Vacuo) that can be considered Primarchical Royal Families (that is to say: they are Ozlem descendants. This fact is VERY hidden knowledge; so hidden in fact that neither Salem nor Ozpin knew until later on). --The Four Foundational Families share the following characteristics: Incredibly powerful and versatile (as well as hereditary) Semblances, immensely potent and dense Aura (not always vast, this depends on the individual), incredible life force (that is to say, they age slowly, seldom get ill and have much larger than average lifespan), and recessive yet highly persistent Silver Eyes AND Black Blood genes (rarely, some descendants are born with either one or both of these traits being dominant at random). The Schnee and Pendragon (now Arc) families are two confirmed families out of the four. --The Schnee and the Arc families have a longtime friendship with each other (which leads to the Schneeblings and the Arc Siblings being childhood friends). --Cinder was found and adopted by Qrow. Because of the series of events that unfolded prior to this, Qrow was ALMOST persona-non-grata in Atlas (Ironwood, Willow and Ozpin had to call in on a LOT of favors for the "Almost" part). --Weiss (and by extension Winter and Whitley) are childhood friends with Jaune (and his sisters). However, whereas Weiss enrolled in Atlas Prep to follow her sister's footsteps, Jaune studied in Shade Academy, where he met and befriended Pyrrha Nikos (and became her first and best friend, as well as her first love and her friendliest rival). --Saphron, Winter, Cinder and Terra studied in Beacon (Saphron, Winter and Terra came from Atlas Prep, where as Cinder came from Signal) and were on the same team (Team ASBT/Asbestos). Saphron was the leader, Saphron and Terra were partners while Winter and Cinder were partnered. --Winter and Cinder got along like cat-and-dog/ice-and-fire, with Cinder goading and taunting Winter every chance she could and Winter inevitably losing her temper (think of Qrow and Winter's canon dynamic). Cinder disdained Winter (at first) because she thought of her as a spoiled Atlesian princess (and Cinder hated anything to do with Atlas) while Winter detested being compared to a vapid socialite that was common for an Atlesian lady of her age (it was the reason she chose to come to Beacon after all, with Ironwood's endorsement no less, to get away from it all).

--Saphron Arc was pretty much the "Summer Rose/Glynda Goodwitch/Pyrrha Nikos" of her generation; that is to say, she was an unparalleled prodigy among her peers (shame that she, along with Terra, retire from being huntsmen early on). --Because of the different circumstances, Cinder Branwen was made the Fall Maiden instead of Amber (originally, Saphron was the one planned to be made the maiden; however, she declined). Amber, instead, is one of Cinder's bodyguards. --During their time in Beacon: Weiss and Pyrrha are fierce rivals in both love (over Jaune) and combat, and every time they fight, they never fail to destroy the arena. It has gotten to the point that Glynda prohibits them from fighting each other during Combat Class because she dreads having to clean up the mess. --Ozpin and Qrow can't help but reminisce over the fact that Pyrrha's and Weiss' rivalry was like a mix between Summer's and Raven's (fighting over Tai), and Winter's and Cinder's (fundamentally so very very similar that they can't help BUT clash).
