#God this episode is so so good.#Tachihara sweetie I'm sorry I never talk about you. I swear I love him so so much he's an amazing character. I love his story and conflict–#so much.#This arc is peak bsd writing / meta literature plot. The tearing page moment is insane. The sentiments expressed here are so–#deep and emotional. The theme of the ordinary man. God and the force of human spirit.#Fighting against one's own destiny and finding the reason for own's existence. It's all subjects that are so interesting to reflect over–#and they're elaborated on in such a cool and compelling way. I love Dazai's quote on the strength of humans who–#“are caught in the tempest of contingency and scream‚ run and shed blood” so much. It moves me deeply.#The animation was really neat. A lot of detailed sequences. The wind was animated beautifully. The colors were so pretty and the stained–#glass visuals still go so hard.#Again I love Tachihara's conflict so much!!! I'm so into tachi/gin too... I know it's more of a Tachihara x oc since. Well.#We know little to nothing about Gin. But there's still so much spice to it... What do you MEAN Tachihara stabbed Gin !!!!!!#I'm so into the drama. AND the kind of relationship born from the big brother complex™ they both (may) share. AND the work partners.#AND the hiding their true identities to the other. How could I not love them...#Still believe season 4 should have ended where episode 11 ends but spreading it all in 12 episodes to allow it all better pacing.#I really think this season is great but the pacing really is its weakest point.#Of the sky casino arc they could have made a movie if they wanted to. Or just a cool arc at the start of season 5 that can work too!!#(((and not put ch 84-88 at only ep3. And then animate it grossly. But that's another talk.)))#Anyways 100000/10 what a good episode. This really was peak B/ungou Stray Dogs. And Akutagawa isn't even in it!!!#random rambles#Very hot take but I don't think Lucy should jump off a sky casino for a man. Sorry#My feelings for atsu/lucy are so fluctuating. I could write a whole other tags rant on it.#Actually I will

The First Lord in Different Houses: Your Personal Astrology Adventure! 🌟
Grab your chart, get comfy, and let's dive into the First Lord and how it impacts your identity. Whether you're the life of the party or the secret genius, this is where the magic happens, and honestly, it's kind of hilarious too. 😜
First Lord in the 1st House
You walk into a room, and everyone knows you’re there—there’s no hiding.
Confidence is your middle name, and you never miss a chance to strut your stuff.
You are an introvert’s worst nightmare!
Independent? Yeah, you invented it.
People say, “Look at them go!”... and you say, “Yeah, I know, I’m fabulous.”
First Lord in the 2nd House
You might lowkey feel like a walking bank account sometimes (it’s okay, you’ve got the swagger).
Money, possessions, and fine dining—that’s your love language.
Your idea of a good time? Maybe buying a new shiny thing or investing in something ‘important’.
A strong connection to your self-worth... and your credit score.
You get really excited about sales. Like, really excited.
First Lord in the 3rd House
Conversations? Oh, you’re always ready for one. And you’re the one leading it.
Your brain is like a Google search engine: full of random knowledge and probably some memes.
You could talk a dog into believing it’s a cat, and they’d never know the difference.
Restless much? Thought so. You’re onto the next idea before the first one’s finished.
Social media’s best friend—wait, is that a notification?
First Lord in the 4th House
You’re basically the “mom friend”—making everyone’s home feel cozy and safe.
Family gatherings are your jam (but only because you secretly judge everyone’s cooking).
Your vibe? “My house, my rules, but I’ll let you have a snack.”
You might look for a place to hide from the chaos and recharge... hello, couch naps!
Your home feels like a warm hug—and you give really good hugs.
First Lord in the 5th House
Drama? You’re probably starring in it (or at least watching it from the front row).
Flirting is your second language—don’t even try to resist.
You’re the life of the party, even if it’s just your dog and a Netflix marathon.
Hobbies? Well, they’re more like passions that take up all your time.
You’ll probably try to make everything a competition. “Who can make the best TikTok?”—Spoiler alert: It’s you.
First Lord in the 6th House
You love a good routine, but only because it means you’re in control.
Your daily mantra: “I’m not stressed, I’m busy—there’s a difference.”
Healthy eating? Absolutely. Just as long as it’s also fun (kale smoothies and 12-step meal prepping, anyone?).
You might accidentally become a perfectionist because, well, why not?.
You can’t relax until everything’s in place. Spoiler: It’s never in place.
First Lord in the 7th House
Relationships are your thing—friendship, romance, business partnerships, you name it.
You need a partner in crime—someone to do life with.
You’ll be the diplomat in any situation: “Let’s just all get along, okay?”
It’s not “me,” it’s we. You’re practically the CEO of Teamwork.
You thrive on validation from others—but hey, who doesn’t love a little support now and then?
First Lord in the 8th House
You’re that one person who probably has a secret collection of ancient texts—or at least watches a lot of true crime documentaries.
Deep transformation is your thing—your emotional rollercoaster has no brakes.
You have a knack for digging into other people’s deepest fears... or maybe just for figuring them out.
You’ll never shy away from a good existential crisis. Isn’t life just a series of changes?
You live for the intense, the mysterious, and, of course, the taboo.
First Lord in the 9th House
Wanderlust is your middle name—you’ll plan a trip to the other side of the world just because.
Your mind is always soaring above the clouds—metaphorically, of course.
You’re a fan of philosophy, and you probably have a shelf full of “deep” books that you’ll talk about for hours.
You think big, dream big, and might just try to change the world (at least your corner of it).
If you haven’t been to at least three countries, are you even living?
First Lord in the 10th House
You’re here to make a mark, and the world is your stage (just don't forget your best performance).
Career is serious business for you—but you’ll look fabulous doing it, of course.
Your reputation? Oh, it’s everything. You’ll take great care of that.
People might ask you what you do, and you’ll casually drop your “BOSS” vibes.
You’re the leader, the boss, the go-getter. They just haven’t realized it yet.
First Lord in the 11th House
You’re always looking toward the future—Hey, have you seen that next big thing?
Your friendships are everything, but don’t expect small talk. It’s all about big dreams and world-changing ideas.
You’re the social butterfly, flitting between events and people... but deep down, you’re a visionary.
If you’re not organizing a group project, are you even living?
You can totally turn any group into a movement—don't underestimate your powers.
First Lord in the 12th House
Solitude is your best friend—you probably thrive on some alone time... okay, a lot of alone time.
You’ve got that “mysterious vibe” going—people aren’t sure if you’re an enigma or a guru.
Spiritual awakenings? You have all the answers, but you don’t always share them.
You might be a secret healer, helping others in ways no one will ever know.
Boundaries? You prefer to merge with the universe, thanks.
Feeling curious about how each House Lord affects your identity and life journey? 🌠

𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐄
A type of person who start something new without finishing up the other task, they do get bored easily and often seeking about something new for them. However the problem is that they should have done the first task before moving to the next cuz in the end they will be the one who will be stressed about it.
I'm getting gloomy for them, might be their appearance or just their overall aura maybe stress or worst — depression is visible to them. They might be alone or something was missing into their life? but do focus on negative sights than the positive one. They are thankful for every opportunity that life has given for them but mostly doesn't like to take it or keep refusing.
Also the person who has their own world in a room full of busy people, like they were just sitting in the corner minding their own business but once you get close to them they were talkative and witty it may probably not so obvious for them but they do have side like that.
I feel that they been through a lot in life and even in love, they may face disappointment, loneliness and even betrayal all through their years.
𓊝ᷓ
extra : fire signs ( sagittarius, leo, aries, ), moon in cancer, gemini, pisces, aquarius | an offer that keep refusing either be in career or in love, depression, heartbreak, honest and direct, romantic but possessive, insecure.
𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐖𝐎
This is someone who is fearless and be able to take the lead on their own. You can see how brave and driven they were in their life.
Somehow talking or having conversation with them will bring you some inspiration and willingness probably loves to motivate and encourage you while chatting to them.
They will never be afraid to speak about a romantic date with you, if they were rejected then they willing to accepted it. Sometimes if you ever had a chance they would not accept it and doesn't want their ego to be ruin.
You can also see how accomplished and well proud they are about themselves but more likely to be positive side. This person likes to smile a lot or have this satisfied face as they probably thought that you were the one that they have been wishing for.
Whenever they are standing it is often in a good posture or when they are seating they have this crossarms posture or is sitting elegant— their back might be often straight and don't lean that much. This could also someone who dresses nicely and has a youthful or heart shaped face.
They could as well be a generous person and romantic/passionate individual. Mostly I see that this person could have dark feature/complexion or someone who's into dark colors and for few this is light feature/complexion individual.
𓊝ᷓ
extra: strong water sign and taurus, travel, nurturing like a mother, judgement or work related to law, great student?— study a lot perhaps, emotionally intelligent, likes having freedom, hard worker.
𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄
You will feel shock about meeting your true love. This might be a sudden meeting or you suddenly feel this person is your the one.
Uhmm, there will be a sudden situation that will happen for you that is pretty surprising for yourself but you would aware that situation will occur in you.
I'm all hearing suprise for you so the energy is kicking that they don't want to tell when they arrive in your life. At the present, they feel happy about not showing their true feelings their identity around people. specifically hiding
All the way up while shuffling, I'm getting a energy of being playful, she or he might have playboy or playgirl type of appearance. It take lots. of time to show their real self especially if this person have been hurt before.
𓊝ᷓ
extra: strong earth sign especially virgo, don't like to be told and get their way, failure and abandonment by their mother or someone feminine in their life, very feminine, loss someone important, likes adventure, sexy and flirt, soulmate, wealthy/ financially stable (secure).

With hurried steps, you adjusted the cap over your hair and pulled up the collar of your jacket. You were fleeing from the sirens echoing in the distance. It wasn’t anything new for you, and you knew it wouldn’t stop being part of your life because of the bad decisions you’d made in the past. This was your life now, and there was nothing else you could do but survive.
What started as small thefts to eat or find something to keep you warm turned into a desperate search for shelter. That’s how you ended up seeking help from dangerous people. The Black Eye wasn’t just a group of petty criminals; they were an organized, ruthless network—and, for you, the last chance to keep living.
Despite your efforts, you knew you were at a disadvantage because you were a woman. But if you had to hide that fact to survive, you would do it. The hardest part was cutting your hair, but you did it. Then, you wrapped your chest with bandages, wore loose-fitting clothes, and finally, you began calling yourself “Lee.” You tried not to speak too much and always wore a cap to hide your face, hoping no one would ask too many questions. That’s how you managed to catch the attention of one of their members.
They tested you for a couple of months before deciding to present you to their leader. You were nervous, cold sweat trickling down your back, but you kept calm as you waited in a room. Then, the doors opened, and two people walked in. One of them was tall and muscular, with multiple scars on his face. From his imposing presence, you guessed he was the leader, Jack. The other person entered calmly, taking his time to assess the room silently but with sharp alertness.
“Is this the new recruit?” the second person asked in a deep, curious voice.
“Yes, Mingi, this is Lee,” another man replied, shoving you forward. He was the recruiter who had "guaranteed" your entry into the group.
Mingi approached you, observing you for a long moment, watching how you lowered your gaze and hid your hands in your pockets.
“Why do you want to join us?” he finally asked. His voice was low, almost gentle, but heavy with authority.
“I need protection. And you need someone who knows how to navigate the streets,” you replied, your voice firm but calm.
“You better be useful, Lee,” he said, pronouncing your false name with authority. You knew that from now on, you belonged to the gang, and he was making your place clear. “There’s no room for the weak here.”
“You’re in,” the other man said before turning and leaving the room, leaving you with the assurance that you’d live to see another day.
Your days of trying to survive on your own had now turned into trying to hide your true identity to keep living. It was hard, but over time, you learned to manage. You avoided interacting with the members and rarely spoke to anyone unless it was absolutely necessary. Still, there were a few moments when you were almost discovered.
You tried to blend in, and for most people, you succeeded—except for one. Song Mingi. He always seemed to notice everything, and for the past few months, he hadn’t taken his eyes off you. It was starting to get annoying.
One day, after a mission went slightly out of control, you returned to the abandoned warehouse that served as the gang’s base. A voice you knew all too well called your name.
“Lee, come here.” You turned to see Mingi in the distance and dragged your feet toward him “I have to admit, I’m surprised you made it back,” he said.
You rolled your eyes. He always said before every mission that he didn’t expect you to return, but you made it back just to see his irritated expression.
“Get used to it, Song. I’ll be here for a while,” you replied, a bit defiantly, raising your head to meet his gaze despite his towering height.
Mingi stared at you, tilting his head slightly, and let out a low chuckle—but there was no humor in it. With a swift motion, before you could react, he grabbed your face firmly, his nails digging into your cheeks.
“Listen closely,” he said, leaning in, his voice dropping but his grip unrelenting as you struggled to free yourself by clutching his hand. “There’s no place here for someone like you.” You froze at his words, fear flashing in your eyes as you locked gazes with him. Then, without warning, he shoved you hard, making you fall to the ground “Get out,” he said coldly.
The days didn’t get any better, and you began questioning whether you had made the right decision. But the fear of what might happen if you left the gang kept you in place—even if it meant enduring Mingi watching your every move.
One day, the gang organized one of its oldest traditions: an internal fighting tournament. It was a way to measure strength, prove who was worthy and who wasn’t, and keep the members sharp for real confrontations. The atmosphere in the warehouse was charged with excitement and pent-up violence, as shouts and bets filled the space.
You didn’t want to be there, but you thought staying alone in the rooms would make you stand out more. Blending into the crowd seemed safer—or so you thought. The fight was entertaining, but it didn’t excite you as much as it did the people around you. Still, you forced yourself to watch and analyze the movements of both fighters. To no one’s surprise, the expected victor won. He had five consecutive wins under his belt, and now, as his sixth opponent lay defeated, no one wanted to face him.
“Who’s next?” the winner shouted, scanning the crowd for his next victim. Everyone took a step back, and silence began to fill the room. You noticed how some were shoving the newer recruits forward. From afar, you felt a gaze on you. You looked up, only to lock eyes with Mingi, who was staring at you intently, a smile on his face.
“Lee, maybe you should go next,” Mingi said suddenly, breaking the silence. You cursed him in your mind as all eyes turned to you. You began searching for an excuse to decline, but you knew Mingi wouldn’t let this opportunity pass “You should earn your place, rookie,” he said, taunting you. The murmurs of the crowd grew louder “Or do you think you don’t deserve it?” he added, provoking you further.
You felt hands pushing you toward the ring. With your heart pounding, you climbed into the makeshift ring as the crowd gathered around, shouting bets and cheering for the fight.
You glanced at Mingi behind the crowd and sighed, cursing him under your breath before turning to face your opponent. He was a tall, muscular man whose muscles seemed to have muscles. His angry expression only highlighted how eager he was for this fight.
You took a step back, but hands pushed you forward. Then, the bell rang, signaling the start of your defeat.
You didn’t even try. You knew you had no chance. You simply closed your eyes as you saw the man’s fist coming straight for your face, bracing for the impact. His punch knocked the air out of you in one blow. You thought that would be enough to stop him, but you didn’t expect him to climb on top of you and continue his brutal assault.
Everything around you grew blurry. The crowd’s cheers faded into the distance. You didn’t fight back—not even a little. You let the darkness take over.
When you opened your eyes again, you wished you hadn’t. A sharp pain coursed through your entire body, as if a train had run you over. Despite the agony, you tried to move to figure out where you were until something stopped you.
“Don’t move,” a deep voice ordered. You turned your head to see Mingi sitting nearby, arms crossed. He looked worried, though he tried to hide it behind a mask of seriousness.
“What happened?” you asked, staying still.
“You got beaten up,” he said bluntly. “Then you passed out.”
You let out a dry laugh. “Well, thanks to you.”
Mingi sighed deeply, watching as you struggled to sit up. He seemed angry—not at you, but at himself.
“I didn’t think this would happen,” he said, his frustration evident.
“Whatever,” you muttered, attempting to stand, but the pain in your left side was unbearable. “Damn it.”
“Let me help you,” Mingi offered, stepping closer. You flinched, fear sparking within you as he approached. The sudden movement made you wince in pain again.
“I can handle it.”
“No, you can’t,” he snapped, taking another step forward. You tried to back away, but with your injuries and his speed, you couldn’t stop him from grabbing your arm.
“Stop moving,” he commanded. You wanted to fight him off, but there wasn’t a trace of strength left in your body. He pushed you gently back onto the mattress and lifted your hoodie.
His expression darkened instantly. His hand froze mid-motion as he realized the truth.
“You…” His voice came out uneven, words escaping him as the realization sank in. Everything finally clicked in his mind. “Why?”
You didn’t respond. You didn’t have the energy to argue, especially over something like this. You simply waited for the worst to come.
And it did, far sooner than expected. The door to the room opened, and the leader walked in. Mingi snapped out of his daze as Jack approached you, his face a mix of concern and curiosity.
“How are you?” Jack asked, ignoring the tension hanging in the air.
“I…”
“can’t stay,” Mingi’s voice rang out, cutting through the room. Fear surged in you as you silently begged him with your eyes to keep the secret. But the doubt in his gaze told you all hope was lost “It's a woman,” Mingi declared. The words echoed in the room, followed by silence so profound that all you could hear was the pounding of your heart.
Jack’s gaze shifted to you, filled with a mix of astonishment and concern. After a long, heavy sigh, he finally spoke.
“I know.”
“What?!” Both you and Mingi exclaimed at the same time, equally stunned. You thought Jack would throw you out right then and there, not admit he already knew.
“How…?” you asked, still in shock.
“Since when?” Mingi demanded angrily. “And why didn’t you tell me?”Jack leaned against the wall, crossing his arms “Since the beginning. It was kind of obvious, if you ask me,” he said, looking directly at you. “You were shorter than most, and your appearance was different. You stood out. It wasn’t hard to figure out.” Mingi stepped forward, but Jack continued “I let you join because I wanted to see how far you’d go on your own—until this idiot decided to intervene.” Mingi lowered his head like a scolded dog.
“Even so, she can’t stay,” Mingi insisted.
“She absolutely can. And you, you damned fool, will shut your mouth and act like you saw nothing,” Jack ordered.
“But she can’t defend herself!”
“This is your fault,” Jack shouted, his voice rising. “I told you to leave Lee alone, and now she’s hurt. From now on, she’s your responsibility. If anything happens to her, I’ll kill you.”
Mingi clenched his fists, his face red with fury and frustration. Without another word, he stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.
You were left in confusion, unable to comprehend what had just happened. Everything felt strange and surreal. Jack approached you, and you looked at him, still processing.
“Why?” you finally asked.
“That doesn’t matter,” Jack replied. You let out a tired sigh, too drained to argue. You just wanted to rest.
“Mingi’s a good person, but sometimes he’s an idiot,” Jack said. “He’ll look after you. You don’t have to worry; no one will find out your secret. You’re safe here.”You decided to believe his words. You didn’t want to fight anymore “Now rest. Everything will be fine.”
******
The first few months were tense. You were still recovering and couldn’t do much more than linger around. Even so, Mingi was always nearby, watching you with a mix of frustration and curiosity in his eyes. He made sure no one got too close to you, even if it meant getting into fights with other gang members. His constant presence annoyed you, but it was also a relief. You knew that, despite everything, he was keeping his word to protect you.
When you felt ready to return to the streets, Mingi stopped you, and Jack agreed. You had no choice but to stay in the warehouse, but you didn’t waste your time. You started training to be prepared—you didn’t want to end up on the ground again.
It was nighttime, and everyone else seemed to be asleep, but the sound of your fists hitting the old punching bag echoed throughout the space. Your punches were clumsy, and you felt exhaustion in your arms with each hit, but you refused to give up. You needed to learn to defend yourself.
“You’re terrible,” his deep voice said behind you, making you freeze. You turned quickly to see Mingi leaning against the wall, arms crossed, watching you with that irritating smile.
“What do you want, Song?”
“Nothing. The noise woke me up, that’s all. Go on,” he said, gesturing toward the bag hanging in front of you.
“If you’re not going to help, then leave,” you replied, rolling your eyes before turning back to the bag and hitting it again, ignoring him.
He walked toward you slowly, letting out an exaggerated sigh. Standing behind you, he took your wrists in his large hands before you could protest, adjusting them into a different position. His touch was firm but surprisingly gentle.
“Like this. Keep your fists tighter, and don’t just use your arms. You need to involve your whole body in the punch.” His closeness made you nervous. You could feel his breath on the back of your neck and the warmth of his body just behind yours. You shivered but tried to focus on his words.
“Now, try again,” he said, releasing you slowly.
You took a deep breath and threw another punch at the bag, following his instructions. This time, your punch felt stronger.
“Better,” he said with a smile, nodding in approval.
“Whatever.” You couldn’t help but glance at him out of the corner of your eye. There was something in his expression, in the way he looked at you, that made your heart beat faster. “Thanks.” You didn’t know where those words came from, but somehow, they made the air in the room feel lighter.
“You’ve done enough for tonight,” he said quickly, his voice rougher than before. “Get some rest. We’ll continue tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?”
“This is just the first step, Lee.” He turned and walked toward the exit, but before leaving, he paused for a moment to look back at you as you struggled to steady the strange rhythm of your heart.
"Again."Your heart was pounding, and every muscle in your body screamed with exhaustion, but all you could hear was Mingi's voice "Harder."Your hands were bruised and swollen, yet you didn’t stop throwing punches "Harder." You focused on everything Mingi had taught you over the past few weeks—firm feet, clenched fists, channeling your strength. But there was something more, something raw. The anger you’d suppressed for years surged within you, blinding and heavy with sadness.
On your final punch, you released everything you’d been holding inside. Your body gave out, and you collapsed to your knees, gasping for air. Mingi rushed to your side, helping you sit down somewhere nearby as he handed you a bottle of water.
“Shit, don’t scare me like that.”You shoved him away and tried to stand, ready to continue, but he grabbed your arm “Take a break.”
“I can’t,” you said breathlessly. “I need to be ready for tomorrow.”
“You’re not fighting.”
“You can’t stop me, Song.” Mingi gripped your shoulders, forcing you to meet his gaze.
“I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.” His words caught you off guard, and before you could respond, he stepped closer. He was so close now that you could barely think.“Not again.” The overwhelming silence was filled with an unfamiliar sensation in your chest.
In recent weeks, the two of you had spent hours training together. At first, it was just a few hours a night, but over time, the darkness of the night wrapped you both in an odd honesty. You talked about things you never planned to share. He told you how he ended up in the gang, and for the first time in years, you told someone the truth about your past.
“I’m ready,” you said firmly. “And neither you nor anyone else is going to stop me.” You pulled away from his grasp and headed toward the exit, but you heard his hurried footsteps behind you.
“What are you trying to prove?” You turned slightly to look at him and sighed.
“It’s not about that. The world is cruel to someone like me.” You knew he understood you meant being a woman, and his expression softened with compassion “And I won’t let them leave me on the ground again.”
Mingi didn’t know how to respond. You gave him one last glance, noticing a vulnerability in him that you had never seen before. And in that moment, you realized your feelings for Mingi were starting to change.
The boy who once seemed like your greatest enemy had become your only source of security in a dangerous world. And though neither of you would admit it, something was growing between you—something neither of you knew how to handle amidst the darkness surrounding you.
The next day, Mingi promised himself not to interfere. But as the fights began, he couldn’t stop scanning the crowd for you. Not seeing you anywhere made him tense. If Jack found out you’d joined the fights again, he’d kill him—but what mattered most to Mingi was knowing where you were.
The matches dragged on, and he began to relax, thinking you wouldn’t show. But when the final winner was announced and the event was wrapping up, he saw a shadow cross the ring and step into the center.
“This isn’t over,” you declared loudly.
“Get off the ring, Lee!” someone shouted. “They’ll beat you up again!”
Mingi watched as a dark shadow crossed your face, and your eyes took on a hardened, almost menacing look.
“Why don’t you try it?” Everyone fell silent, shocked at your boldness. You’d always flown under the radar, but this was new—and it sparked curiosity in some “Or are you scared?”
The crowd erupted, people pushing and shoving to see who would step up to face you. Mingi tried to get to you, but the chaos of the crowd held him back.
Finally, someone stepped into the ring, facing you. You raised your fists, and he laughed before getting into position.
“You’re done for.”
“We’ll see.”
The bell rang, and the man lunged at you with speed. But you easily dodged him and drove your elbow into his side. He stumbled, turning to glare at you, realizing this wasn’t going to be as easy as he thought.
Adrenaline coursed through your body. You were exhausted, your lungs begging for rest, but you couldn’t stop—not now. The man threw punches aimed at your face, and you dodged as best as you could. The crowd’s shouts blurred into the background as you focused entirely on the emotions spilling out with every strike.
Rage consumed you as you drove a punch into his face, your body moving on its own as you continued to rain blows on the unconscious man beneath you.
Hands pulled you away as the crowd erupted into cheers. You looked up and could barely make out your name being chanted amidst the chaos—you had won.
Mingi shoved his way through the throng, crossed the ring, and ran to you. You thought he was coming to congratulate you, but his furious expression said otherwise.
“Enough!” he shouted, his voice silencing the crowd instantly “This is over.” People protested, but Mingi didn’t back down “I said it’s over!”
Reluctantly, the crowd began to disperse. You turned to leave, but he grabbed your hand and dragged you down the hallways until you were alone in a room.
“Let me go,” you demanded, struggling against his grip.
He didn’t release you until he closed the door behind you both, shutting out the rest of the world.
“What were you thinking?” Mingi paced back and forth, running a hand through his hair “They could’ve hurt you or worse…” His voice was thick with anger and desperation, tinged with something that sounded like worry.
“But they didn’t.” He sighed and gave you a once-over, his gaze lingering on your bloodied hands. You quickly hid them behind you.
Mingi stepped closer, taking your hands into his. For a moment, it looked like it pained him to even look at them. Your knuckles were torn, and the pain was unbearable, though you refused to admit it.
“Let me help you.”
“I’m fine.”
“No, you’re not,” he said firmly, guiding you to the bathroom and making you sit down. “Stay still.”
Without waiting for your permission, he grabbed a small first aid kit from a nearby shelf. His movements were deliberate but gentle as he cleaned your knuckles with a damp cloth. You shut your eyes, biting your lip to stifle a groan.
“This is going to sting,” he warned, pouring antiseptic over your wounds.
“Could you be gentler?” you hissed, pulling one hand back, but he caught it with ease.
“If you were more careful, I wouldn’t have to do this.”
His eyes locked onto yours, and the air between you felt charged with something that went beyond physical pain.
The silence stretched as he wrapped your hands in bandages. His fingers were surprisingly tender, and for a moment, you forgot the pain and exhaustion. His closeness overwhelmed you, the warmth of his skin sending your senses into overdrive.
“Mingi…” you began, but didn’t know how to finish.
“What?” he asked, his voice softer now, almost a whisper.
“You don’t have to do this.”
“Yes, I do,” he replied, his tone filled with an intensity that took your breath away. “Because if I don’t, who will?”
His gaze held yours, and something in his expression shifted. There was vulnerability, honesty, you’d never seen in him before.
Time seemed to freeze as his hand lingered on yours. His eyes flicked down to your lips for a split second, and a wave of nervous energy swept through you.
“Mingi…”
Before you could say anything else, he leaned in and his lips brushed against yours. The kiss was hesitant at first, almost as if he were unsure. But when you didn’t pull away, it deepened, filled with a desperation that mirrored the chaos around you.
Your heart raced as you closed your eyes, letting the walls between you crumble entirely. His lips moved against yours with a mix of urgency and relief, as if this moment had been inevitable all along.
When he pulled back, you were both breathless. His gaze searched yours, and what you saw wasn’t his usual cocky demeanor but something raw and genuine. You didn’t know what to say, so you simply looked at him, letting the gravity of what had just happened settle between you. The world outside faded away, leaving only this fragile moment the first kiss in a place as dangerous as it was unexpected.
“No…” you said suddenly, breaking the atmosphere. “This…”
“Please, don’t say it.”
“Mingi, I…” you didn’t know what to do. You had never experienced anything like what you were feeling in your body. This was new and strange, and you were scared, unsure of what to do or say.
“Please, don’t push me away,” he pleaded, holding your waist and looking at you with eyes full of desperation.
“I’m scared,” you confessed, letting the tears well up in your eyes. Mingi hugged you, letting you sob into his chest as he gently stroked your back to comfort you.
“It’s okay, I’ll take care of you,” he said softly. You looked up for a moment, and for the first time in your life, you let the walls around you crumble.
“Do you promise?”
“I will never leave you,” he assured you. His words struck you deeply, and you trusted him. You let his arms wrap around you, comforting you for the night, not knowing it wouldn’t be the only time he would do so.
*******
Time only made your feelings for Mingi grow. It became harder and harder to hide it from others, as being near him felt like standing on fire. Every glance, every slight touch from him made your heart race. Whenever you had the chance to be alone, Mingi would pin you against the wall, pressing his lips to yours, his hands wandering over your body. But you always stopped him when he tried to touch you beneath your clothes. He never insisted, and you were grateful for that, though deep inside, you wanted it too. Yet you were scared—it was something you'd never done before, and you feared it wouldn’t go right.
Mingi never let anyone get close to you. On the missions you shared, he was always by your side, never leaving you alone. Sometimes, when someone bothered you, Mingi made sure to put them in their place, even if it ended in a fight.
You knew this life wasn’t easy—it never was—but there were moments when it felt unbearable. Sometimes you wondered what you had done to deserve this. Sometimes you wished for an easier life, for loving parents, for school, to fall in love under different circumstances, to be a normal girl who could dress up in beautiful clothes without needing to hide to protect herself.
With tear-filled eyes and a heavy heart, your feet led you to Mingi’s room. You hesitated before knocking on his door but eventually did. A few seconds later, he stood in front of you, and without waiting for anything, you wrapped your arms around him, seeking the comforting warmth of his body.
“What’s wrong?”
“Can I sleep with you?” you asked, knowing it was risky, knowing it was dangerous, but you had no other safe place to go. “Just for tonight,” you pleaded.
“Alright.”
You had only been in his room once before—the day everything began, that afternoon when he had tended to your wounds and shared that first kiss with you. “Is everything okay?” he asked as he closed the door.
“No.” With him, you had the chance to be honest, and you never held back from telling him the truth. “I’m tired.” Mingi hugged you tightly, trying to ease the weight from your body.
“Come here.”
You both lay down on the small bed, and you curled up against his chest. It was the first time you’d been this close, yet somehow, it felt as if you had done it a thousand times.
“Mingi,” you said, lifting your gaze to meet his eyes. “If there were another life… do you think this would be different?”
His silence made your chest tighten slightly, but then his hand caressed your cheek with tender compassion.
“If there were another life, I wouldn’t care how it was, as long as I could be by your side.”
Without being able to help it, you pushed yourself up and kissed him, unloading all your sorrow into his mouth, all those thoughts you had you left on his lips for a moment, you didn't want to think about anything other than him. His kisses became desperate and hungry, you felt that intense heat on your body and his hands holding you tightly did nothing but want it. You separated from him for a moment and lifted your sweatshirt, but he stopped you.
“No… I don't want you to do this if you're not ready.”
“Mingi… I want to do it” you wanted him to touch you, you wanted his mouth to run over your skin and show yourself to him without any barrier, you wanted him to see you as you were. You took off your sweatshirt and Mingi looked down at the bandage that covered your breasts, you took a breath and began to take it off, a part of you felt relieved to take it off as you showed yourself as you were in front of him and a part of you was afraid.
When you finished your breathing was labored at the sight, Mingi had bitten his lip and seemed to be struggling with something inside of him. You took one of his hands and placed it on one of your breasts as you sat on his lap.
“Please… say something” you begged as you saw how he closed his eyes.
You are beautiful,” he said before kissing you again.
That night they both gave more than their bodies, they put their hearts in their hands and gave it to the other, letting the moon be the only witness of their love.
*********
In all the times they had had a mission they had never failed, but this time everything seemed different, everyone was divided and the sound of sirens was heard getting closer, they couldn't get out of the place, they were surrounded and the bullets in their weapons had run out a while ago.
“Shit” Mingi growled at your side hiding “we will get out of this” he told you taking your hand without caring if anyone saw them.
The years had passed faster than you thought, but in that time neither of you hesitated to walk away from the other, even when Jack warned them about the rumors that ran through the gang, Mingi didn't care if they assumed things and neither did you, even so, they tried to be discreet and give themselves only in the shadows.
“I’m scared” you said with tears in your eyes
“Everything will be okay” a loud bang was heard and you both looked out just to see the opportunity to leave, someone had broken the glass of the door “okay, let’s go” he said without letting go of your hand heading to the exit, but before you could get there you felt a strong blow to the head that made you let go of his hand.
Mingi noticed immediately and lunged at the person who had hit you, you tried to get up, but everything was spinning and you felt something hot dripping down your forehead. You touched your head and were not surprised to see your hand red, you took a breath and tried to look for Mingi, but everything seemed to go slower and slower and the sound of sirens resonated in your ears at the same time as someone screamed.
“We have to go” “It’s too late” “They’re here” “Leave him”
You couldn’t bear the pain any longer and you closed your eyes for a moment. You wanted Mingi to take you in his arms, you wanted to feel the warmth of his body comforting you again and hear his voice telling you that everything would be okay, but all you could feel was the cold of the floor and the only thing you could feel was the unbearable pain in your head. You looked up for a moment and wanted to believe that what you saw was a bad dream, that it was just a figment of your imagination, but something inside you broke when you saw Mingi running away from you leaving you alone.
********
Five years had to pass before you could get out of prison, but those five years couldn't make you forget the day you opened your eyes and realized that you had lost everything again and you were alone again. The day Mingi decided to abandon you and leave you behind, that day remained engraved like ink on your skin all this time.
No matter how many times you repeated it and tried to make it less painful, it always felt like a million needles were stuck in your heart and crushed at the same time, it was a slow and raw pain that became more unbearable every second.
The day you got out of prison you looked at the sky as if it were the first time, you let the sun's rays penetrate your skin and warm your body. It was a little comforting to leave feeling like you could start from scratch. Life had given you a new opportunity and this time you wouldn't repeat the same mistakes of the past.
You walked through the streets, contemplating the city that once seemed huge to you, but over the years you got to know every alley, every sidewalk, every store in it. Without realizing it, you ended up somewhere you knew too well, maybe it was your subconscious or maybe it was because you had nowhere to go, but you decided to push the old worn door and enter anyway.
You were surprised that the old warehouse was still here, but seeing it empty and full of dust seemed strange to you. The place that was once your home now felt unknown, despite the bad times you spent here there were also many good ones. Every corner you passed brought back memories and you smiled sadly, the old jacket was still hanging and you felt a small knot remembering someone by your side teaching you how to fight, you looked away and walked every inch until you ended up in front of a door you knew well.
A part of you wanted to knock and hoped someone would open it like the first time you did, you wanted to meet someone, but you opened the door yourself only to find an empty room full of memories and dust. It hurt to be here, but you didn't know where to go.
You entered letting the memories flood over you and it was as if you were living them for the first time, that first kiss, that first night together and many others that followed, those endless hugs and the words he whispered to you to help you sleep. But all that had vanished, all that was in the past thanks to him.
You opened the window and looked at the buildings in the distance while the night fell and the city was flooded with dreams and unfulfilled hopes, you looked at the sky and contemplated the moon whispering your wishes knowing that it wouldn't hear you.
You woke up thanks to the sound of something falling and a bottle rolling on the floor followed by firm footsteps that ran through the place. You looked around for something to defend yourself with, but all you saw was the trash from the food you had stolen and the beer cans you had left abandoned in a corner over the days.
You slipped out of the room and walked towards where you had heard the noise, your heart pounding as you tried to hide in the shadows as you knew how. You peeked your head out and noticed the figure of a man curiously admiring the deformed drawing you had made with the dust the night before.
He seemed to sense your gaze as he looked up and let out a laugh.
“I know you’re there” you hid again and pressed your body against the cold wall, you thought of something, but nothing came to mind, you looked at the ground and the only thing you found were your fists, well, if you had to fight to escape you would do it, you had done it before, you should… “Lee”
That name paralyzed you, you felt like your heart stopped for a second and you peeked out again only to see Jack with his arms crossed when he saw your head peek out. You felt relief run through your body and you came out of your hiding place.
“Shit, you almost scared me to death”
“I’m glad to see you” he said showing a smile “you look… different” shame took over you knowing that he saw your long hair and that you showed your figure without hiding behind a sweatshirt
“How did you find me?” You asked suddenly, changing the subject
“I never stopped coming here hoping you would show up” you turned your gaze to the ground, you were glad to know that someone was waiting for you “when I find out what happened that day…”
“No… that doesn't matter” you interrupted him before he could continue “what have you come for?”
“I want to help you, you can join again and…”
“No, I'm not going back there again” Jack sighed, he looked tired
“Everything has changed, you know?” He dropped onto an old bench, kicking up some dust. “Many left since… we had to leave here and everything was much harder.” He ran his hand over his face as he remembered, you could tell he was having trouble speaking. “A new gang appeared and… we had to join them or we were finished. Many left, including Mingi.” His name made you a little uncomfortable, but you stood firm. “Little by little, the new gang grew and got involved in shady business, but we had no choice.”
“I’m so sorry.”
“It doesn’t matter, no one knew this would happen.” He stood up and took a step towards you. He looked at you tiredly and placed his hand on your shoulder. “You can stay here as long as you want, but if you need help, just call me.” He gave you a piece of paper with an address on it and left, leaving you in the dust and the weight of his words.
You thought you would never call him, but the weeks were getting harder and harder alone, stealing wasn’t enough anymore and even though this place was huge it wasn’t equipped to keep running.
You looked again at the crumpled paper you once threw away and wondered if (again) this wasn’t one of your bad decisions. When you got to the place you were surprised to see a small house on the outskirts of town, you expected an old warehouse again or maybe someone’s garage. With a little fear and holding your breath in your lungs you dared to knock on the door.
Jack smiled at you and let you in. He gave you new clothes and let you take a bath, he fed you well and you devoured every bite. You had never felt anything like this and now you knew why people lived so happily.
“So?” you asked leaving your fourth empty plate “if I join you what will I have to do?”
“It's easy” Jack said sitting in front of you “you'll just get paid”
“Wow, I didn't think I'd be Lee again”
“No” he interrupted you “this time it won't be Lee, it'll be you”
“But…”
“That doesn't matter”
A part of you knew that this would be more dangerous than before, you knew it sounded like a terrible idea and that it would be even worse, but you had no choice, you never had one, so you had no choice but to accept.
The days passed and Jack warned you that this would be dangerous, the people you would meet were very dangerous, that they belonged to some kind of mafia and that you should be prepared, he gave you a gun and although you had never used it to harm anyone the weight of having one was always comforting.
The day had arrived, Jack and you were inside a luxurious bar, you had never been in one and you were amazed by the bright lights and the music resonating in your ears, a part of you wanted to abandon everything and get lost among the people while having fun dancing, but you weren't here for that, you had a mission and you wouldn't let anything cloud your mind. Jack guided you through the hallways and approached you.
“It's the last door on the right” he told you before disappearing with a tall guy with a kind smile. Nerves ran through your body even though you had gone over the plan a thousand times before, but you never imagined being in this situation. The missions you had carried out had always been as 'Lee' but now you had left it behind, now Lee had been left in a place of the past and now you walked as the real you.
You entered that room with your head held high, with your heels clicking on the floor and with the loaded gun hidden in your leg, but none of that could prepare you for what you were going to find on the other side of the door.
It was a small room, with just a desk and two chairs, but the light was very dim, so much so that you could barely see the other person in front of you because of the thick smoke from the cigarette he was smoking, even so, you approached and sat in the empty chair that was in front of the desk.
The smoke parted like a curtain and left you both stunned when you saw the face of the person in front of you, he thought he would never see you again and you thought that the pain of that betrayal was behind you, but when you saw it all seemed to come back to you like a wave hitting your heart hard, everything you thought you had forgotten, all the feelings and memories came back to you when you recognized those eyes.
“I see you’ve been busy,” you said, trying to control your voice. Mingi stood up suddenly, it was as if he had seen a ghost and had stolen the words from him. “So much so that you seem to have forgotten me.”
“I never forgot you,” he suddenly replied. Just being here made you feel a lump in your throat with the millions of memories you spent together clouding your mind, but you never forgot the last moment.
“But you abandoned me.”
“What… what are you doing here?” he suddenly asked.
“I can ask you the same thing” Mingi stayed silent, the shock of seeing you still had him speechless “let me guess… you’re the one who’s going to give me the payment, aren’t you?”
“You… joined the gang again?”
“Deal with your own problems Song” you placed your hands on the desk a little irritated
“But why?”
“I don’t have time for you” you stood up annoyed, but the truth was that you couldn’t stand being in the same room with the guy who broke your heart “give me the payment and go back to your business”
Mingi shook his head and looked at you again, he noticed that you had long hair and the dress you were wearing highlighted the curves that you once hid, you looked very different, but he still knew that you were still the same.
“Let’s talk”
“No” you answered firmly taking out the gun “save it, your words are of no use to me now”
“Don’t do it” he pleaded when he saw you load the gun “you don’t even know how…”
You pulled the trigger aiming close to him making his words stay in his mouth.
“I won’t repeat it again Song… give me the payment”
Mingi let out a dry laugh knowing he had lost, he took out the money and placed it on the desk, you looked at him for a second and went for the money when he didn’t say anything, but he quickly took your hand, Mingi couldn’t let you go, not again. You tried to get away, but quickly between the fight and the struggle you were face to face.
“Let me go”
“No” you pointed the gun, but when you least expected it Mingi had snatched the gun from your hand, you no longer had anything to fight with, but that didn’t stop you from trying to do it.
“You never change” he said taking your hands in quick movements and imprisoning your body on the desk “you are still as stubborn as before”
“And you are still an idiot” you could not do anything, you could only look at him with resentment hoping that the weight of your gaze would do something to him.
Mingi was not going to hurt you, he only wanted to talk things over, but when he saw your eyes he knew that you were dragging bad memories from the past.
“I never forgot you” he repeated and somehow you felt that his words reached your heart.
You looked at him and realized the closeness that there was between the two of you, as if all the past that had existed between you had vanished and only this moment existed. He was very close and something inside you urged you to get closer to him, your heart was beating strongly and you wanted to feel more than a simple touch of his hands on your wrists, you still loved him, you always knew it.
“It still hurts” you said, holding back your tears and the urge to hug him. Mingi let go of your hands but didn’t move away “I can’t forget it so easily”
“So, let me help you” he came a little closer and you felt his breath on your lips for a second, you could have moved away, you could have pushed him away and left that room, but the truth was that you also wanted to forget the traces of the past.
His lips were just like you remembered, soft and delicate with a warmth you had never felt before. Mingi's hands ran down your arms to your hips and he held you by the back to bring you even closer. You separated for a moment and it was as if all the differences, thoughts and problems had disappeared in that simple kiss, his gaze was filled with a mixture of desire and pure longing.
“Mingi…” his name in your voice was like a spell for his body and he responded immediately waiting for your words, but there was nothing to say, you just wanted this, you wanted him.
You pushed yourself forward and held onto his neck as you brought your lips together again, your kisses were no longer slow, now they were just devouring each other, your tongues met and your teeth clashed because of the desperation and desire that seemed to overflow.
His hands held you tightly, as if he feared that at any moment you might fade away again, but each kiss felt more real than ever. Mingi contoured your figure and lifted the hem of your dress, you couldn't help but moan a little at the feeling of his fingers on your skin and he took the opportunity to grab your legs and climb onto the desk.
Your gazes met for an instant and you both knew what the other wanted. Mingi squeezed your thighs as he watched you take off the straps of your dress, leaving your breasts exposed. You noticed how he bit his lips, but at the same time he contemplated your body.
His mouth went straight to your neck and you let out a muffled moan at the feeling of his kisses, his hands went up your legs and slowly approached your core at the same time as his kisses now went down your collarbone and approached your chest.
When his fingers touched your pussy you arched your back from the sensation you had missed so much, without wasting time he began to move his fingers over the fabric letting your breathing slowly become agitated. You placed your hands behind you to lean on the desk and leave your chest at his mercy, with his other hand he took one of your breasts while his mouth captured your nipple.
You felt your body slowly sink into the whirlwind of sensations that Mingi caused you, you opened your legs to seek a little more pleasure and Mingi noticed it, you felt his smile on your skin and he looked up to see your pleading face.
“Do you want more?” you nodded desperately and he moved the fabric that separated your pussy from his fingers.
You let out a moan when his fingers ran over your wet core and touched your clitoris, he played with it for a moment turning it and pressing gently on it making you start to moan. You never took your eyes off him and you were struggling not to close your legs when a shiver ran through your body announcing your orgasm.
Mingi knew it and sank two of his fingers inside you, you let out a stifled sigh and held onto his shoulders when he began to move them in and out. You pulled him in for a kiss and he gladly accepted without stopping giving you pleasure, your hips began to move on their own looking for the highest point, your legs began to tremble and when you thought you had achieved it Mingi stopped.
“Not yet princess” you sobbed internally, but when he pulled his fingers out of you a strange mix of shame and excitement filled you inside as you watched him take them to his mouth and taste the trace of you left on him.
You placed your hands on his chest and began to unbutton his shirt, Mingi admired the way your hands shook a little, but you were determined to undress him. When you opened the shirt you admired his bare chest and ran your hands over his skin feeling every inch of his torso, you slid your hand down his abdomen and stopped for a second when you noticed the bulge in his pants.
You noticed his anxious and desperate look, you began to unbuckle his belt, but Mingi felt that you were too slow but that it was somehow a kind of torture. He took a slow breath trying to concentrate on not ripping his clothes off himself and let you continue at your pace.
You gently pressed his bulge when you pulled down his pants and heard him curse, you saw how his chest rose and fell faster and faster, but you continued just touching him above.
“Shit… stop playing with me” he begged through gritted teeth.
“It’s your punishment.” Mingi closed his eyes and sighed as he felt your hand touch him beneath his boxers. He felt you wrap around his girth and begin to massage him.
It was getting harder and harder for him to breathe and it was complete torture the way your thumb played with his sensitive tip. He grabbed your legs and brought you a little closer to the edge, he needed you right now, he wanted to have you and fill you, he couldn’t take it anymore and neither could you. You stopped as his cock began to twitch and smiled as you heard a frustrated sigh from him.
“I guess I deserve it” he said with a broken voice and you nodded when his forehead pressed against yours “but I can’t continue like this anymore” he confessed looking into your eyes “let me have you one more time”
“I’ve always been yours Mingi” your words moved his chest and he lowered your panties along with his boxers leaving the path clear between your bodies.
Your breathing mixed and you both moaned when he placed the tip of his cock over your entrance, you held onto his shoulders and dug your nails into his skin when he slowly sank into you.
The room was filled with the sound of your bodies colliding and your moans saying Mingi's name. You were hugging his neck and Mingi's hands were holding your ass while his thrusts took you into a spiral of sensations. His mouth devoured your neck and his teeth left marks on your shoulders.
You didn't want this moment to stop, but when Mingi separated from you for a moment you felt empty. He lowered you from the desk only to turn you around making you show him your ass while he pressed your breasts against the wood. You turned your head to look at him, but you moaned when you felt him sink easily into your pussy.
Mingi grabbed your waist tightly and looked at your figure, he approached your body and your skin crawled when his mouth began to leave a trail of kisses all over your back. One of his hands slid down a little and squeezed your ass hard before giving you a spank that made you moan, his hand went inside your legs and touched your clit making you squirm under his body that pressed against yours.
“Mingi… I’m close” you warned, but he continued to touch you as his cock sank deeper and deeper inside making your body start to shake.
“Cum for me princess” his words in your ear gave you shivers and his thrusts mixed with his fingers on your clit seemed to be enough to make you let yourself go in the fog that was starting to take you to your orgasm.
You scratched the wood beneath you looking for something to hold on to as you let the knot in your belly come loose. Mingi gave a few more thrusts and sank in hard letting his load warm your insides. He kissed your back and then pulled away from you, watching his essence drip down your thighs.
He couldn't resist the urge to pick it up and sink his fingers into your sensitive pussy, you moved at his touch and pressed against his fingers that didn't let you spill anything.
"Stay like that, just a moment" he said admiring your body and seeing how a trace of him was left on your body.
After he helped you get dressed the atmosphere became tense again, it was obvious that you didn't want to leave that room and separate again, but Mingi couldn't have you with him, his job was dangerous and he didn't want to put you in danger, while he thought about what to do you finally decided to speak.
"I have to go, they're waiting for me" your voice came out broken and revealed that you didn't want to leave
"Will we see each other again?"
“I don’t know” Mingi took your hand so you wouldn’t leave and hugged you tightly, he didn’t want to let you go, not again.
When you looked at each other again thinking it would be a farewell a loud bang was heard outside. You looked at each other once and without thinking Mingi took your hand before opening the door and discovering what was happening.
There was a lot of smoke and you couldn’t see anything beyond you, but the screams of the people were not long in being heard. People began to run towards the exit, they didn’t know what had happened, but moving a little further they noticed a destroyed wall in a row, people were pushing each other to get out and everything was chaos.
It wasn’t long before you heard the sound of sirens and something inside you brought you back to the past. You were starting to get restless and wanted to get out of here, but Mingi squeezed your hand reminding you that you weren’t alone.
"I won't let you go again" he said before taking out his gun and walking through the crowd without letting go of you. They managed to get out and for the first time you felt relief when you looked at him, he hugged you tightly and knew it was what he had to do "I'm not leaving you, come with me, I'll protect you"
You'd be lying if you said you weren't scared, but you knew Mingi was serious, he wouldn't let anything bad happen to you again so you just nodded as you shed tears and kept a new hope in your heart.

"I'd like to hear him out..."
Tumblr media
(credit to @phuezo for the awesome art XD)
So here’s a fun little AU concept for the past couple months since Mastermind aired and people started throwing around ‘What if Charlie (or Lucifer) was at Blitzo’s trial?’ ideas:
What if Vaggie didn’t (entirely) lose her wings to Lute’s attack? Meaning that Charlie actually KNOWS that Vaggie is an angel from the beginning. And leading to Vaggie not hiding her identity by pretending to be a sinner and instead be generally open about her past as an angel and exorcist. Which I think could have some rather interesting ripple effects.
Now I realize it might be a bit headscratching how ‘Vaggie doesn’t lose her wings’ leads to ‘Charlie (and Vaggie) showing up at Blitzo’s trial’, but hear me out.
First off, I think the ‘How’ of this divergence is actually pretty easy to imagine; instead of ripping her wings off, Lute decides to inflict a different kind of sadistic torture on Vaggie. Terribly maiming her wings to prevent her from flying, but still leaving her wings to make it clear just what she is. Basically, Lute and Adam fully expect Vaggie to be torn apart by vengeful demons.
But in true dramatically ironic fashion, Vaggie is NOT found by the ‘evil, terrible demons’ that Lute and Adam (and even Vaggie herself) were expecting, but by Charlie Morningstar. And I think we can all agree that Vaggie happening to have a pair of angel wings would NOT meaningfully change Charlie’s reaction to finding her in the slightest.*
Charlie still basically falls for Vaggie at first sight, takes her in and patches her up and gives her a home. And in this version, after it becomes clear that Vaggie’s wings aren’t healing, Charlie also calls in a favor from Uncle Ozzie to design some cool cybernetics/prosthetics to give Vaggie full wing-functionality back. And after a while, Charlie and Vaggie fall in love and start dating just like they did in canon, possibly even sooner/stronger given that Vaggie doesn’t have the specter of hiding who she is from Charlie hanging over her in this version.
And this is where we get to one of those interesting ripple-effects of this change.
Because I think it is VERY likely (as in, I imagine we’ll actually see this come up in the actual show) that Charlie’s belief in sinner-redemption and drive to help sinners in large part came from Vaggie. Specifically in that Charlie believed that Vaggie was a sinner. As in, Charlie falling in love with someone who she thought was a sinner was a MAJOR factor in Charlie believing that sinners could be redeemed and general drive to help them.
Now obviously I’m not suggesting that Vaggie was the only reason or that Charlie wouldn’t care about the sinners otherwise. At the same time, I think it’s a bit ridiculous to assume that Charlie believing the woman she loves was a sinner all that time wasn’t a major contributor to her motivation in ‘making a hotel to redeem sinners’. Or that Charlie knowing Vaggie WASN’T a sinner from the beginning couldn’t put her on a different path…
Basically, this version of events with Charlie falling in love with ‘Vaggie the fallen angel/former exorcist’ instead of ‘Vaggie the human sinner’ ends up rippling out to lead Charlie to focus not on the problems of the human sinners, but rather the problems faced by the hellborn demons.
Say for example; because Charlie knows that Vaggie is an angel, and thus almost certainly NOT bound to the Pride Ring, the pair end up taking a few trips/dates to see the other rings. Particularly given that Vaggie already know Asmodeus.
But in the process of these trips, Charlie starts noticing many of the issues faced by the hellborn demons. Many of which she doesn’t remember from back when her father was running things…
Basically this ties into another theory I’ve had since Mastermind that a lot of the societal issues we see in Helluva Boss are the result of, or at least have been heavily exacerbated by, Lucifer’s long ABSENCE from ruling thanks to his centuries-long depressed isolation. Something that I think Mastermind pretty heavily hints at given everything we see from Satan in that episode. And that at some point, Hazbin Hotel is going to show Charlie having to DEAL with many of these issues as part of her arc of growing into a leader and future ruler of Hell.
And in this version of events, instead of being drawn to wanting to help the human sinners, Charlie is drawn to wanting to help the hellborn demons. Basically, since her father clearly isn’t doing his job, perhaps SHE should step up and try doing it instead?
And of course, Vaggie is right at her side through ALL of this. In fact, she may even be a bit more gung-ho about it, given that it probably feels to her a bit more feasible than ‘redeeming sinners’.
Tumblr media
This all leads to Charlie pushing herself not so much into ‘replacing’ her father outright as ‘ruler’ of Hell, but rather starting to assume a kind of regency position. Not full-on ‘ruling’ (yet), but still starting to assume some of the roles and duties that her father has been neglecting for a couple hundred years.
And the fun thing is that nobody is really able to stop Charlie from doing any of this. After all, she IS the princess and heir apparent of the Morningstars, meaning she is well within her rights to assume a number of roles of her father. Particularly as Charlie makes it very clear that she is not trying to outright supplant her father, but is simply assuming duties that he’s been neglecting. To the point of keeping the title of ‘Princess’, or maybe ‘Princess Regent’.
Sure, some/most/all of the Goetia/other nobility might not like a lot of the ideas and goals Charlie is talking about, such as ‘Maybe the Imps, Hellhounds, etc AREN’T actually lesser and born to serve the nobility and shouldn’t be treated as such’, but there also isn’t really anything they can do to STOP her or remove her from her new position. After all, the only one with the authority truly above Charlie’s is Lucifer himself.**
Tumblr media
And the nobles who do make a scene and/or pitch a hissy fit about Charlie’s ‘radical ideas’ tend to find themselves at the business-end of her girlfriend’s spear, sword or divinely-mailed fist. Really, in this situation Vaggie is a pretty big fucking deal all on her own, being a fallen angel and all. Certainly NOBODY is going to be judging Charlie on her choice of romantic partner. Well, maybe some sinners might judge her for dating a former exorcist, but any Hellborn demons, even the Goetia? No fucking way. Really, people would probably be making comments on how Charlie is taking after her mother.
Heck, even in the short time since Charlie started this endeavor, Vaggie’s probably earned her own title or two. ‘Blade of the Morningstar’? ‘Wings of the Princess’?
Of course it’s also worth noting that there are still some pretty hard limits to what Charlie can accomplish in terms of fixing/reforming the issues of hellish society, at least in the short term. She can’t just snap her fingers and fix classism or completely wipe out the Goetia’s authority (or the Goetia themselves). Particularly as Charlie doesn’t have the ultimate overriding authority of her father. Realistically, Charlie’s authority as Princess/Regent only just supersedes that of any of the Sins, and while that might put her above effectively ANY other one person in Hell, it also doesn’t give her absolute ‘do anything I want’ authority either. Not to mention that this is still Charlie we’re talking about, who in this timeline is still only JUST getting use to throwing her authorial weight around.
But at the same time, again there really isn’t anything anyone can do to fully STOP Charlie from doing anything either. Meaning that in the short time since assuming her new role as regent, say about a year or two, Charlie has already started making small but noticeable changes and ripples to Hell’s society.
Which brings us to this new version of Mastermind, with Charlie and Vaggie making a surprise appearance at Blitzo’s trial and Charlie actually wanting to hear the imp out. This leads to a number of other fun changes including but not limited to:
Charlie invoking both ‘Princess Regent Authority’ and ‘Favorite Niece Privileges’ to get all of the Sins voting on her side to hear Blitzo out and override literally all of the Goetia royalty.
Andy-the-not-actually-a-sister-fucker pitching a hissy fit over this and getting choke-slammed and almost speared by Vaggie.
Blitzo still finding a way to fuck up this golden opportunity by running his mouth. Because this is still Blitzo we’re talking about, and giving him a chance to talk is ALSO giving him a chance to dig himself into a deeper hole.
Stolas choosing the exact worst (and funniest) moment to dramatically burst in with his big, dramatic ‘sacrifice myself for the man I love via song number’ gambit, which actually only makes things worse/wackier when Charlie starts asking pertinent questions.
Andy pitching more hissy fits as his plans continue to unravel and getting repeatedly chokeslammed and/or kicked in the dick by Vaggie.
Striker getting dragged back in when it becomes clear there are a LOT of holes in his story, only to constantly flip-flop on his story because he can’t figure out which authority figure(s) he should be selling-out-to/kissing-up-to in order to save his own skin.
Charlie, Vaggie and even Satan becoming ever more flabbergasted as it becomes clear that the suspect (Blitzo), prosecution (Andre), defense (Stolas) and witness (Striker) in this trial are in fact ALL complete fucking idiots.
--
*Admittedly I do have one other possible change in mind to help reinforce this: rather than a sinner child, Vaggie actually spares an imp kid, or perhaps a sinner child and their imp kid best friend. Which leads to the imp kid actually leading Charlie to the injured Vaggie and also telling her that this angel actually helped them and got hurt doing so.*** Which again serves to reinforce just how wrong Adam and Lute and much of heaven are about demons.
** And if you’re going to ask ‘Why doesn’t Charlie just go to her dad directly and get him to do his job?’, remember that Charlie had to be practically dragged kicking and screaming by her girlfriend into calling up Lucifer for help in Hazbin. I think it’s pretty clear that pre-Hazbin, if Charlie can get what she’s after without getting her dad involved, she is ABSOLUTELY going to do it.
*** Also this hypothetical imp kid doesn’t actually show up again and DOES in fact have a living family, meaning that NO, Charlie and Vaggie DON’T ADOPT THEM. Because I KNOW that is exactly what some of you started thinking when I mentioned an unattended child in relative proximity to our heroines.
--
And of course, once again HUGE thanks to @phuezo for the awesome art of Charlie and Vaggie XD

Simply Miraculous Love Square Headcanons!
Shehfiifoekdjfjr okok besides accidentally making Chat Noir too hot, here is our lovely love square! I figured out how to create a plot that incorporates every single combination. Here are brief points describing each pair!
Ladybug x Adrien
Tumblr media
Ladybug initially meets Adrien by saving his life a few times and bumping into him accidentally. Because she is just as awkward as Marinette is, she doesn’t initially strike up a friendship
Later she goes to him to ask him questions she thinks only he can answer - how to deal with being a celebrity (ex: the oversexualization, invasion of privacy, etc.)
Obviously they both have a crush on each other - Marinette likes Adrien and Adrien likes Ladybug - but I can see Ladybug stopping any progression of a relationship to keep Adrien safe.
If they both confessed their feelings to each other, things could become messy because Marinette would realize Adrien loves Ladybug and not “her,” and Adrien would realize that Ladybug loves Adrien and not Chat Noir. This might cause adverse outcomes
I could see interactions between them being either very awkward or randomly wholesome if they shared their issues with each other
Marinette x Chat Noir
Tumblr media
Screaming because this ship is lowkey growing on me
Best friend dynamic - but also comfort/hurt trope. They’re there for each other through each of their heartbreaks and relationship troubles.
Chat Noir is very protective of Marinette
In their hurt/rejection, I can kind of see them seeking romance/comfort with each other
Could turn into a situationship/rebound - but like Ladybug with Adrien, Chat Noir would shut down any prospects of a relationship for her safety and because he can’t share his true identity with her (like in canon)
Interactions with Marinette and learning about her on a deeper level (without her spluttering her words) could lead Chat Noir/Adrien to develop feelings for Marinette - and perhaps vice versa for Marinette
I’m seeing a lot of angst/emotion with this one
Adrien x Marinette
Tumblr media
The classic
Eventually happens after a lot of turbulence and other relationships, like in canon
Adrien may or may not have sexual trauma from Chloe and the fashion industry, so he may be uncomfortable/disassociate during these moments with Marinette. A relationship with her could help him heal, as she would show him how a relationship should be and the innocent aspect of it (it’s giving Astarion romance in Baulder’s Gate 3 vibes)
When they discover they both have secrets they are keeping from one another, this would trigger Marinette’s anxiety and possibly Adrien’s. Mistrust might develop
Like with Luka, Marinette has the high chance of breaking things off with Adrien because she thinks he deserves better than her and she hates keeping her secret from him
Ladybug x Chat Noir
Tumblr media
Chat Noir is Mr. Flirty flirt and Charisma until Ladybug flirts back, then he melts like butter
Simp Noir exe has stopped working
Thinking this ship might be the end-all-be-all because they are the only people who know their deepest secret - and although they don’t know their real names, they don’t have to hide non-specific details about themselves
Once Ladybug has feelings, she is a lot more confident to tease Chat Noir because she thinks it’s funny/satisfying to watch his demeanor change and his braincells stop working
Ladybug, if in a relationship, would probably be strict about PDA and keeping things secret between them so that Hawkmoth can’t use it against them
Anyway, why the fuuuuuu did I make him so fine whyyyytt

Jack: "You told him we knew."
Will: "I told him to leave. 'Cause I wanted him to run."
Jack: "Why?"
Will: "Because... because he was my friend. And because I wanted to run away with him."
–/–
Dr. Chilton: "Will Graham is alive because Hannibal Lecter likes him that way."
Jack: "Maybe it's one of those friendships that ends after the disemboweling."
Dr. Chilton: "I would argue, with these two, that's tantamount to flirtation."
S03E06: Dolce
Jack: "Hannibal will slip away. Will you slip away with him?"

Will: "I wanted to understand you... before I laid eyes on you again. I needed it to be... clear. What I was seeing."
Hannibal: "Where does the difference between the past and the future come from?"
Will: "Mine?"... "Before you and after you."
...
Will: "You and I... have begun to blur."
Hannibal: "Isn't that how you found me?"
Will: "Every crime of yours, feels like one I'm guilty of. Not just Abigail's murder, every murder. Stretching backward and forward in time."
Hannibal: "Freeing yourself from me and me freeing myself from you. They're the same."
Will: "We're conjoined. I'm curious whether either of us can survive separation."
–/–
Hannibal: "I would've liked to show you Florence, Will."
S03E07: Digestivo
Hannibal: "Do we talk about teacups and time, and the rules of the disorder?"
Will: "The teacup's broken. It's never gonna gather itself back together again."
Hannibal: "Not even in your mind?"... "Your memory palace is building, it's full of new things. It shares some rooms with my own. I've discovered you there, victorious."
Will: "When it comes to you and me, there can be no decisive victory."
Hannibal: "We are a zero-sum game?"
Will: "I miss my dogs. I'm not going to miss you. I'm not going to find you. I'm not going to look for you. I don't want to know where you are or what you do. I don't want to think about you anymore."
Hannibal: "You delight in wickedness and then berate yourself for the delight."
Will: "You delight. I tolerate... I don't have your appetite."
Will: "Goodbye, Hannibal."
–/–
Hannibal (to Will): "I want you to know exactly where I am, or where you can always find me."

Will (to Hannibal): "I'm not fortune's fool. I'm yours."
S03E12: The Number of the Beast is 666
Will: "Is Hannibal... in love with me?"
Bedelia: "Could he daily feel a stab of hunger for you and find nourishment at the very sight of you?... Yes. But do you ache for him?"
S03E13: The Wrath of the Lamb

Will: "I knew you wanted me to know exactly where I could find you when I needed to."
Hannibal: "And you did."
Will: "I need you Hannibal." ... "Please."
–/–
Will: "It really does look black in the moonlight."
Hannibal: "See? This is all I ever wanted for you, Will. For both of us."
Will: "It's beautiful."

Like Hakeem would say "kingkong and godzilla together again will be hell on earth!!😂" .
The batfam stand no chance ,especially jason and damian🥲.
Imma steal thar quote thank you very much!
Reader's mom and Bruce were like the definition of a power couple back in the day. Remember when people thought Cardi B and Bruno Mars were dating? That's them. But in reality, those two were seen together in magazines, billboards, all that type of stuff. They would only speak highly of each other, and every time a camera was around, they wouldn't seem to get off each other. It was pure love. I mean, Bruce even told his secret identity to your mother within a few weeks of their relationship, and your mom kept her lips sealed. However, she wasn't a big fan of the Robins, Jason and Dick, being Robins; those boys were practically like her sons. She helped them with their homework, took them out to museums, attended their school plays, and board meetings. She was so present in their lives, and how could she not be? They needed at least one responsible adult. Bruce cheating was just one of the reasons your mother left him, but another was after Jason's death; she was completely heartbroken, like torn apart. Jason was like the son your mom never had, so to see his body in that casket shattered her. To know it was all Bruce's fault—putting him in that Robin suit and he died, not that stupid suit on your precious little boy—after Jason's death, it just tore apart your mom's relationship even more. When the breakup was official, your mother tried to hide it behind the fact that Bruce was having affairs, which were true, but it was deeper than that. After Jason's death, he became a whole other man, and your mom just had to leave him. But when you two get back together, it's hell on Earth for a lot of people; like I said, power couple and inseparable. Your mother is like Bruce's right-hand man, giving him advice, defending him against anyone who tries to speak ill of him, keeping secrets as his royal advisor. Bruce honestly needs your mother; she's real, she's authentic, she's original. She's the type of woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Their relationship is kind of a push and pull; however, when they're together, they can either break or make one another. I mean, this relationship can end in flames or start in flames, known between them, but they love each other, right?

The Switched Princess pt 3
I actually wrote part 3, guys, hope you enjoy!
Part 1 and part 2 linked.
______________________________
“You look beautiful today!”
Princess Theodora turned around at the sound of her fiancé, Prince Corwin, who had entered the sitting area while she was distracted. He was a classically handsome young man. His light blue eyes focused solely on her, and his strong features were arranged in an affectionate grin. Theodora smiled back, and then looked down at her clothes.
She was wearing a blue gown, similar to the color of her fiance's eyes. It was one of her favorites, with intricate silver embellishments and folds in the skirts, highlighting the best aspects of her figure. She had always felt beautiful in this dress, and normally a compliment from Corwin would have just solidified an already good mood.
If she hadn’t seen Iris in a blue gown today as well.
When the other young woman had arrived for breakfast, Theodora had been stunned. She had seen the paintings of the former Queen, and always thought that she had to be the most gorgeous woman in this world. But her daughter… her real daughter… had surpassed her, leaving a terrible bitter feeling in Theodora’s heart at the sight.
She should be ugly. She thought to herself. Small, timid and worn from a cruel world.  Instead, she’s confident, poised and mature, unfazed by wealth or etiquette.
Theodora gritted her teeth. It’s not enough that she’s identical to HER… does she have to have the same personality as well? She thought she was rid of the person she hated the most, but the more she saw Iris…
And she chose the name Iris… even though she said it was because she sold flowers, but…why... why did it have to be the name IRIS?
She brooded over the name.
“Theo!” Corwin’s bright voice broke her increasingly dark thoughts. “I got you something!”
He handed her a small glass figurine, a carefully carved flower. She noted that it was beautiful, but not worth any money, and suppressed her disappointment with a cheerful smile. “Thank you! It’s lovely!”
Despite her efforts, he must have sensed a difference in her tone, and asked with a look of concern. “What’s wrong? Is it that adopted child your father brought over?”
Theodora’s eyes looked down, her eyelashes hiding the dark light in her gaze, at his words. She has told Corwin that her father had chosen to adopt a poor child of a faithful servant. He had believed her without question. At the time she had been relieved, but now hearing his words…. She regretted it.
She turned away from him, keep her voice low and sad. “How could that be? I feel nothing but pity for the poor girl. She hasn’t adjusted yet, so I can’t take her words or actions personally.” Theo chose her words carefully, and her eyes flashed with satisfaction as he picked up on the implied meaning behind them.
“Wait! What do you mean 'words or actions'? What has she done?” He reached out and patted her head. “You are too kind for your own good, Theo. Just tell me if you are bullied, and I will take care of it for you. Don’t get your hands dirty.”
“She doesn’t mean it…”
“She should know her place.” He snorted, dismissing her persuading words. “A fake adopted princess trying to upstage the real thing? Trash will always be rotten, no matter how you try to dress it up, but true gold shines even in the worst situations.”
“…” How ironic that he's trying to comfort me with those words. Iris stayed silent, and Corwin must have taken it for discomfort with his speaking poorly of another person.
“I know you feel bad for her…” He patted her head, not knowing that every word he spoke was stabbing her like a knife. “But don’t worry. She could never take your place. You are a princess. The TRUE princess. And soon in the future, we will get married and you will be by my side as a queen.”
Theodora reached out and hugged Corwin, her voice tearful. “I can’t wait.” It's the only way for me to escape this closing trap.
He held her tightly, smiling. “It won’t be much longer, dear. Soon you will awaken your Royal Magic, and when the Flower of Peace blooms, our wedding can be held!”
Stepping back from his embrace, Theodora frowned. “The Flower of Peace? From the treaty? I know that its written there, but we can’t possibly be waiting for a silly flower…”
“It’s not a silly flower.” Corwin’s voice was uncharacteristically serious. “It’s a historical international symbol. A gift of peace between countries. For Estin and Komish, it is an essential of our cooperation. The seeds are native to the neighboring country of Akarnor, in fields that are just across the border, just south of the palace where I grew up.” He smiled slightly, as if remembering. “They are incredibly rare, and difficult to keep the sprouts alive. Only the royal family is allowed to care for them. One of my favorite childhood memories is learning to care for the seeds.”
“Corwin…”
“And of course, in the Estin Royal family, the women descendants are born with the power to grow plants, the only power strong enough to allow the flower of peace to bloom.” He hugged her gently. “Every generation we have come together to bloom the flower. It will last for 50 years and then die, requiring the next generation to take up the mantle. “
“But… I don’t…” Theodora started to protest, but Corwin gently shushed her.
“I know you haven’t awakened the power yet, but as the daughter to the king, you are the one who will awaken the Royal magic. You just turned eighteen so you should be starting to feel it fairly soon.” His smile widened. “And then, once you bloom the flower, the treaty allows us to marry! Generations of waiting for the right time will be fulfilled through us!"
Seeing Corwin’s excitement, Theodora felt a tightness in her chest. She opened her mouth several times, but in the end, closed it silently. She couldn’t bring herself to tell Corwin the truth: that she would never awaken the royal magic… she wasn’t a blood related member of the royal family.  Part of her hoped that he wouldn’t care. That he would take the news calmly, and assure her that he loved her all the same.
But deep in her heart, the dark suspicions lingered. That Corwin liked PRINCESS Theodora and not just simply Theo. That once the truth was revealed, he would abandon her. And not just him… her brothers, her father… the rest of the nobility. She was standing on a precipice, needing only one wrong word in one wrong ear to push her over the edge into despair and obscurity.
“Theo?”
But that day is not today. She told herself firmly, turning to face her fiancé with a bright smile. She looked every inch the innocent girl who was trying to be brave despite difficulties. The exact kind of look that Corwin would eat right up. However, even though the outer shell she presented was flawless, the inside was rotten, disgusting.
She just had to keep it hidden.
______________________________
Iris was frustrated.
She stared at the flower in front of her, and she swore it was staring back defiantly. It was a rare breed of flower, a temperamental little weakling that seemed to want to die with even the slightest change in environment.
Iris had gotten the seedlings off of a sobbing merchant, who had failed to grow them multiple times, wasting hundreds of gold pieces with each bad attempt. He was so relieved to be rid of them, he hadn’t cared that she had paid a tiny fraction of what they were worth.
But even that little money was causing Iris some regret now.
The small, stumpy flower was the last living specimen from that deal… and it refused to grow. Iris swore under her breath, frustrated. It was being grown with magic! Was that still not good enough for this stupid flower? She reached out with her hand, making sure not to touch it (having learned the hard way that touching it in the growth period could cause instant death). Her power extended beyond her hand, gently enriching the soil and water the plant fed from. For a moment it seemed to perk up, giving Iris a sense of satisfaction… before wilting again, as if barely hanging on to life.
“Stupid plant. I should let you die.” She muttered, staring intensely at the wilted leaves.
“I’m curious, Princess. Do you think the flower can hear you?” An amused voice spoke up, causing her to turn, stunned. Iris felt she was fairly observant, a holdover from growing up in an unsafe environment. It was rare for someone to successfully sneak up on her. As she saw the culprit, she sighed quietly.
Mage Vicente smiled harmlessly, seemingly unperturbed by her unwelcoming expression. “Having struggles with this flower, Your Highness?”
“I wouldn’t call it a flower.” Iris replied, turning back towards the object in question.
“What would you call it then?”
“A soul sucking nightmare.”
The answer must have been unsuspected, as the mage burst into laughter. Shoulders shaking, he looked at the flower as well, his eyebrows raising at the sight of its pitiful state. “That bad, huh?”
“This is without a doubt the worst plant I’ve ever tried to care for.  It needs something… but I just don’t know what.”
“Hmm.” He studied the flower more closely, a small sense of recognition flaring within in gaze, a strange helpless look crossing his face. “I think you are correct, Your Highness. This flower does seem to need some additional care.”
Iris shook her head at the flower, missing the expressions of the man next to her. “Too bad I don’t know what it needs.” So much for being a flower expert.
“… Would you mind if I tried to take care of it?” Mage Vicente, now completely calm, pointed and asked gently. “I’m happy to compensate you if I fail.”
Startled, Iris stood up and quickly gathered a wooden box to place the potted plant into it, along with a stack of papers which included her observations and prior failures. She moved quickly, almost worried that he might change his mind. “I don’t know what your plans are, but don’t worry about compensation. I’m out of ideas anyways.” She passed the box over to the mage, who reached out and took it, his hands cold to the touch as they made contact with her own over the transfer. She retracted her hands quickly, feeling a bit flushed.
Must be too warm here in the greenhouse.
“Thank you for your trust.” Vicente smiled, the look transforming his handsome face. “I’ll return it once it has been cared for.”
“…You’re welcome.” Iris straightened up, feeling stiff from maintaining her position so long as she had fussed over the stubborn plant. Hearing the chime of bells outside she sighed quietly. “That’s the noon bell. I need to change to be ready in time for the castle tea party.” Anthony had mentioned it several times already, hoping that she could get in touch with other young women of the nobility.
“You should make friends!”  He had told her with a smile. “Even better to do it now before we announce your identity. You can feel more confident in their genuineness, instead of being nice to you because you are royalty.”
Iris had felt almost amused at his confident assumption that her identity would EVER be officially announced, but appreciated his care and concern either way. Unexcited about the prospect of another dress change, but knowing she couldn’t delay further, Iris turned and smiled politely at Mage Vicente.
“Thank you for your time… and good luck with the flower.”
Mage Vicente chuckled. “It was my pleasure, Princess Iris.” His smile stayed in place until she had left the greenhouse, leaving him alone with the temperamental flower. As the sound of her footsteps faded into silence, his face slowly drained of expression. Vicente stayed frozen in place, his eyes coldly watching the flower sitting in the box in his hands.
“How mysterious fate is.” He muttered, taking a deep breath. “I never thought to see you again, or to have your care placed once again in my hands.” His eyes looked past the flower, seeming lost in thought. “For that matter, I never thought I would volunteer…” Vicente’s voice trailed off, but he shook his head slowly, seeming to shake the gloomy atmosphere around him.
“Oh look, it’s Mage Vicente!” A delicate voice called out as the greenhouse door opened behind him. Three young ladies, dressed in complicated tea party attire, filed in, watching the handsome young mage with wide, eager eyes. Rose, the daughter of a duke, and the young lady who had spoken up initially, stepped closer, her two friends hanging behind, giggling.
Mage Vicente straightened up, his mysterious and cold atmosphere shrouding around him, his face stony and unreadable. Even the delicate flower sitting in the box did little to offset his unapproachable air. “Lady Gillad” His voice was bland and uninterested, but the lady in question still blushed a bright pink at his words.
“I’m so happy to run into you! I have a question about a magic formula, and I’ve been unable to figure it out.” She leaned forward, almost falling over when he stepped back to avoid being close to her. Catching herself, she blinked rapidly, small tears forming in her eyes as she looked up at the taller man, a pitiful and longing expression on her face. “Can I arrange to meet and discuss my question… privately?” The implication in her question was obvious, but the target of it was unmoved.
“If you have a question regarding magic, I am afraid that I am unworthy to attend to it.  I would recommend bringing it to the Grand Mage’s attention.”
Irritation flashed in Rose’s eyes. “But you are the next in line to be the Grand Mage! Why can’t you do it?”
“I apologize, but I cannot.” His tone made it clear that whether or not he actually could, he had no interest.  He bowed politely to the group. “Excuse me, I must go.” He left in the silence, not turning back despite the strong gaze that stayed on him until he was out of their sight.
Rose stood in place in the now quiet greenhouse, her fists clenched tightly beside her. Her two friends seemed unsure of how to comfort her, and stayed silent.
“A mere mage should be honored by my interest.” Rose muttered, her eyes still staring angrily at the empty space where the mage had been. “He will come to regret his decision, and beg me to reconsider him.”
“That’s right!”
“He’s crazy to not recognize his good fortune of having captured your eye!”
Relaxing at the fervent agreement of her companions, she smiled and left the space, the glass door slamming behind them.
______________________________
I knew this party was a mistake.
Iris stood in place at the entrance to the garden, feeling the strong gazes from all of the young women present. If she hadn’t had memories from her dreams standing strong under scrutiny from large groups of people, she felt she would have crumbled under the pressure already. Straightening her posture, Iris let out a small sigh, putting a professional smile on her face and she prepared to respond.
As for how she had gotten to this point….
When Iris had initially arrived, Iris immediately realized that she had been told the wrong time for the party’s start. Looking at the set ups on the various tables, the tea party should have started about 20-30 minutes prior. I should have known not to trust any information given to me. She sighed quietly. This was obviously planned for me to show up late. The only question is, what are they planning to do next? Surely it’s not just to cause me some mild inconvenience…
“Sister, you finally arrived!” Theodora stood up, her face lighting up with delight as she rushed towards her.
Ahh, there it is. Iris felt no joy in being proven right immediately.
Theodora came to a stop right next to her, reaching out to grab Iris’s hands in a tight grip as her fake smile widened. Iris’s skin crawled at the contact, and she gently freed her hands.
“Sister, are you still angry with me?” Theodora’s eyes filled with tears. She took out a handkerchief covered in frills and dabbed her face. Looking around at the shocked faces of the party guests, she continued, as if trying to explain. “It’s my fault, everyone. My sister was brought back to the castle recently, and she hasn’t adjusted yet. Having grown up in such a harsh environment on the streets, she is perfectly in her rights to hate me, who has had so much love and care.”
She spoke in a tone of speaking up for Iris, but her words said a great deal to the crowd. Iris had the title of sister to the princess, but had grown up on the streets. She could be an adopted child, but it made little sense for the king to make such a move with a fully grown young woman. The conclusion that many would come to was that Iris was a bastard, an illegitimate child of the king to someone besides the beloved former queen.  Given the popularity of the queen, this would definitely spark some resentment towards Iris. No one would guess the actual truth, that it was Iris who was the true princess.
I wonder if my dear father knows of his precious daughter’s plans. Iris thought, amused. She’s implying that he cheated on my mother, which will ruin his reputation as a loving husband that he has always cultivated. She silently looked forward to the new rumors reaching the king’s ears.
But in the meantime, she had to deal with the mess her “sister” had just dropped into her lap.
Her professional smile firmly in place, Iris took the cloth from Theodora’s hands and gently wiped the other’s face. “Sweet Theodora, how could I EVER hate you? You are such a joy to be around, and I have nothing but appreciation for how welcoming you have been to me despite the… circumstances of our meeting.”
She could say outright now that they had been switched, that her real identity was princess Theodora and the current Theodora was a fake. Part of her wanted to say it, just to see the chaos, but she knew that it wasn’t the right time. No one would believe her, and it would be easier for her father and Dominic to cover things up as false rumors and lies.
So instead, Iris leaned into Theodora’s narrative. Speaking just vaguely enough to possibly confirm the worst of the rumors, while never telling an actual lie. As for those that knew the actual story… She looked over at Theodora, whose face was pale with fear.
She must be worried that I will reveal the truth. Iris thought, amused.
“N-No! I was so happy to finally meet you!” Theodora stammered, speaking quickly to stop Iris from speaking further. “I’m glad that you don’t hate me…”
“Hate you! Nothing could be further from the truth!” With a gentle smile, Iris reached out and hugged the stiff, uncomfortable princess, looking for all the world like an innocent young woman happy to see a friend. “I’m so grateful to finally be home with my family.”
Theodora was frozen. Iris kept her harmless look, but inwardly was rolling with laughter. That’s what you get for going head-to-head with an actress in fooling a crowd.   She turned to the group of young women with a pleasantly surprised look.
“Hello everyone! I’m Princess Iris, Theodora’s sister! I’m so sorry I am late, I must have misheard the servant when she told me that the party would start at half past the noon bell!” She noticed the women giving each other side glances at that statement, obviously realizing she had been set up. “As my sister already said, I did not grow up in the castle here.  So now that I am reunited with my family, I hope that you will forgive any small errors I may make in my adjustment to life here.”
There were more murmurs in the crowd. Iris’ smile widened, and she patted the still frozen Theodora on the shoulder.  “My sister has told me how lovely you all are, so I look forward to becoming friends! Let’s resume the party!”
At her words, with a few more odd glances exchanged, the young women dispersed and sat back down at their tables. Iris looked around, and realized that her place was in the back of the garden, where there were fewer tables. As she walked closer, it became clear this was for the “lesser” noble ladies, their dresses less intricate, their jewelry made of silver rather than gold, the gems smaller and less ostentatious.
Another ploy by my dearest “sister.” To try to make me feel inferior. Humiliate and embarrass me. And of course preventing me from making any significant relationships with anyone in power.
Iris didn’t care about any of it. The mind games, the manipulations, the social maneuvers. None of it mattered. Because no matter how much Theodora schemed, how much she fought and lied and tried to trap her… She couldn’t change the simple truth:
Iris was the real princess.
That truth was the ticking time bomb that was sitting on top of the house of cards the king, Dominic and Theodora were desperately trying to hold up. In the story from Iris’ dream, she had forgotten that simple truth, and tried to play her games, tried to scheme and win by Theodora’s rules.
And that had caused her to lose.
Iris wasn’t about to repeat that mistake.
She sat down at her table with a bright smile and the ladies already seated. “Hello there!” Her eyes were calm, without a hint of embarrassment. “I’m Princess Iris.”

It was odd having vampires for friends while being a human. Odd, but interesting.
Sam and Colby had been my friends since they moved out to LA, and it felt like we knew each other longer than that. We grew close almost instantly, telling each other some of our deepest secrets within the first few days of knowing one another. Then one day, they told me they were vampires. Of course I didn’t take them seriously; I mean who would? Vampires aren’t real.
I soon learned very quickly that they were when I caught one of the boys drinking from a girl at a party.
Eventually I came around to the idea. I mean, vampires are pretty cool, so knowing my best friends were ones was kind of awesome. Especially since that lead to so many other questions of what else is out there.
Sam and Colby weren’t much help in that department. They only knew that they were changed right before moving to LA. They didn’t know by who or why, but they learned to accept it and embrace it quickly. Everything new that they learned about themselves and their kind, they told me.
They were scared, however, that one day their secret would come out. A very small number of people knew about their... abilities. Vampires weren’t known to the broader world yet, and they definitely didn’t want to be the first to come out.
It was getting harder to hide their secret as they grew more and more successful. More eyes were on them. And then they told me about how they planned to go on a tour, meeting as many fans as possible across the US. I was excited for them, but was a little nervous. They deserved all the love that they were getting from their fans, but hiding their true identity wasn't going to be easy on tour.
But then, they asked me something I would have never expected.
“Would you go on tour with us as our... blood donor?” Colby asked, unable to keep eye contact with me.
I raised an eyebrow at him and Sam, “...What?”
“Okay, so... usually when we go out of the country or whatever, we’re able to secure a donor, or even blood bags from local hospitals. But because we are going to every state, sometimes twice, it’s hard to do that without people growing suspicious. And while we could go feed on people, we might get caught. So we were wondering if maybe you would want to go on tour with us and... we would drink from you instead.” Sam explained, fidgeting slightly in his chair.
Colby chimed in, “Of course you can say no. But if you do it, we would 100% compensate you, however you want. We know you’re busy with your career as well, but we promise to pay you well. And of course get you your own hotel rooms and food.”
“Everything would be paid for. And you would really be doing us a solid.” Sam added.
“What would my position be for those that ask?” I questioned, crossing my arms.
“You’d be our second assistant, since we already have one. Plus, we would just let anyone know that you’re our friend joining us to meet fans.” Sam answered.
“Hmm..." I asked, lowering my voice, "Does it hurt? Being... fed on?”
“The initial bite can feel like being pricked with a needle. But afterwards, it shouldn’t be bad.” Sam remarked.
Colby commented, "Plus we would give you our blo-"
Sam smacked him in the arm, glaring, "Dude, how about we ease into that conversation?"
"You would give me your blood? To what?" I queried.
They both paused, "...Drink."
I narrowed my eyes, "Humans can drink vampire blood?"
"Yes. And apparently they like it. A lot." Colby laughed.
Sam smirked, "He dated a girl once that got really into his blood. So much so she stalked him for it."
"Jesus," I mumbled. "Wait, was that-?"
"Ashley, yeah." Colby nodded.
I gasped, "Oh my god, I thought she was just crazy."
"Well, she was. Off of vampire blood." Sam chuckled.
"Our blood can give a euphoric feeling to the person that drinks it. So sometimes people react to it like it’s a drug." Colby mentioned.
Sam continued, "But it heals you, which is why we give it in the first place. If we drink from you, you drink ours."
"So... will you do it? Be our blood donor?" Colby asked, a nervous smile on his lips.
I took a minute, weighing the pros and cons in my mind. I exhaled, nodding, "Sure."
Both of them grinned excitedly. "Thank you, Y/N. You have no idea how much this helps us."
~~\ /~~\ /~~
The tour began a couple days later, all of us meeting at the airport and flying to our first stop, New York City. The meet and greet, sponsored by Zumiez, was being held in a large theater. It was gorgeous and very spacious. The nice thing was that I got my own little dressing room, filled with snacks and anything else I had requested. I was surprised at how weirdly relaxing my day had been, having just sat around and worked on a few things for my actual job.
Sam and Colby hadn't fed on me yet, and I was getting worried. How often do they need to drink? Are they both going to do it at once? Is it actually going to hurt? What-?
A soft knock at my door brought me out of my thoughts. I walked over to the door, opening it slowly. Sam stood, leaning against the door frame. "Can I come in?"
I nodded, opening the door more for him. "What's up?"
"Would you be okay with me drinking from you now? I know it's kind of last minute, but I promise next time I'll give you more of a heads up. Or maybe we could make a schedule or something." He laughed awkwardly.
"Can I ask some questions before we do it?" I requested, sitting down on the couch.
He agreed, leaning against the vanity across from me. "Of course. Whatever you want to know."
"How often do you guys need to drink?" I questioned.
"Once a day is usually our go to. More sometimes if we're really hungry or if we skipped a day." He admitted plainly.
"Do you both have to drink from me simultaneously?" I continued.
Sam shook his head, "No. If anything, it's better that we do it separately, especially since this is the first time you're having someone feed off of you."
"So Colby is gonna feed off of me later?" I asked, relaxing back against my seat.
"Maybe. He might skip today and feed tomorrow. That's what he was thinking of doing. He's a bit stronger than me when it comes to..." Sam cleared his throat, "urges."
"Oh... Have you guys ever... you know?" I mimed slicing my throat, killing someone.
He gaped at me, "My God no. We know how to stop before it ever gets to that point. The last thing we want to do is kill someone. So you don't need to worry. Plus, too much human blood makes us high."
"Really?" I snorted.
"Yeah. We only learned that from a random vampire we met in Vegas, so it might be a lie. We haven't exactly tested that theory." He commented.
"Okay..." I exhaled, "I think I'm ready."
He walked towards me, smiling politely. "Alright. Come here."
I slowly stood up, stepping towards him. He placed his hands on my waist, holding me in place.
He locked eyes with me, "If it hurts, you tell me and I'll stop, okay?"
"Yes sir." I saluted teasingly.
His face dropped, "I'm serious, Y/N. I don't want to hurt you. Neither of us do."
"I know. I appreciate the concern." I sighed, "Just drink."
He nodded, cupping one side of my face gently. He turned my head so my neck was more exposed. He lowered his head into my throat, breathing me in for a moment. My heart skipped a beat, confused and overwhelmed. I hadn't realized how intimate this was going to be.
Suddenly, he opened his mouth, sinking his fangs in. I winced, grabbing his forearms to steady myself. He took a gulp of my blood, a very quiet moan falling from his lips. I could feel my blood leave my body, my life draining gradually. My legs began to go limp, unable to hold up my body weight. Sam caught me, pressing me closer into his warm embrace. He grunted, pulling his mouth away, licking up the excess blood that spilt from the bite.
"Are you okay, Y/N? Talk to me." He held my face, making me focus on him.
I slurred my words a bit, "I feel... okayyyy."
"Here, let's sit you down and give you some of my blood." Sam walked me to the couch, placing me down. He sat behind me, leaning me against him. He bit into his wrist, blood gushing from it. "Drink, Y/N."
He pressed his wrist to my mouth, forcing my lips to open. I tasted his blood, grimacing at the taste. But suddenly, it tasted amazing. Like everything sweet I had ever had rolled into one. I wrapped my lips over his bite, drinking from him quickly. I had never been this thirsty for something before in my life. It was like being on the brink of dehydration and finding a whole bottle of water. I placed my hands on the back of his arm, needing him more in my mouth.
"There you go, baby girl. Drink up." Sam cooed, rubbing my hair softly.
I moaned against him, my body buzzing. My one hand dropped down onto his thigh, gripping it. Erotic thoughts crowded my mind, another groan leaving my mouth.
He pulled his arm away, sitting me up instantly. "That's enough, Y/N. Don't want to get you high."
I felt a whine fall from my lips, embarrassment heating up my cheeks as I realized what I did. "Oh, um, shit. My bad, Sam. Sorry."
"No, you're okay," he assured me, standing up. "I've heard it's hard for humans to stop once they've started, so we kinda have to yank you away from us."
I could suddenly feel my damp underwear press against me, my face burning up more. "I-I get it. Thanks for doing that. It felt like I couldn't stop. A-Are you okay?"
"Yeah, already healed." He showed his wrist, the bite gone. "Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat something. You'll probably actually feel hungry soon."
I pursed my lips. "Thanks. I'll make sure to do that."
Sam took a few steps towards the door, stopping abruptly. He spun back, his eyes wide. "Oh my God, Y/N, I'm so sorry. I forgot to tell you something!"
I blinked, "What?
"Having our blood in your system... it might make you dream about us." He stated.
I chuckled, "Wait really? That's weird."
"Yeah. But um... the dreams might be a bit on the... sexual side?" He grimaced.
My face dropped, "What."
"That's what some people, girls, have said to us in the past," he mentioned. "I don't know if it's true, but it can happen. So I just want you to be aware."
I mumbled, "Would have been nice to know about this beforehand..."
Sam replied, his expression softened. "I apologize, really. It just slipped my mind. I haven't drank from someone directly in a while so I totally forgot."
"Hey, it's alright. It's just a dream." I added, "It might not even happen."
He grinned, "Exactly."
~~\ /~~\ /~~
It happened.
It very much happened.
The dream itself was odd, all over the place, and I barely remembered any of it. All I knew was that I woke up hot, sweating, and aching to be fucked. By specifically Sam. That, tied with literally soaking my underwear as he drank from me.... I was not excited to keep this job up.
Even if the pay was phenomenal.
But maybe things would get easier. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after we got into a routine.
The next day they told me that they would make sure to have one of them only feeding on me once a day, that was I wasn't 'overworked'. Sam would go on even days, Colby on odds. And today was odd.
It was midday, the boys already a couple hours into their meet and greet. I waited backstage in a small hallway, scrolling through Instagram. Colby hadn't drank from me, and I wondered if he even planned to.
I heard footsteps coming towards me, heavy on the heel. I looked up and spotted Colby. He gave me a light smile, growing closer to me.
"Hey, are you okay? Shouldn't you be out on stage meeting fans?" I questioned, squinting at him.
"We are. We're taking a ten minute break." He responded, pressing his back against the wall by me.
"Oh, that's good. You guys have been at it for..." I checked my watch, "Four hours, wow."
Colby interrupted, "I know this is last minute to ask you, but can I... get a drink?"
"Right here? Now?" I pointed to the hallway.
"Yeah. No one is coming down this hallway. Security is making sure of that." He stated firmly.
I lowered my voice, "Do they know?"
"Of course." He bit his lip, "I'm sorry to do this right now, but I'm worried if I wait until after, I might... snap, on someone."
My eyes widened, "Oh... We wouldn't want that."
"No, we would not." He laughed nervously.
"Um, yeah. Go ahead." I stood up, taking a deep breath as I looked at him.
"Here, put your hands on my shoulders. I don't want you to fall over." He directed.
"Okay." I giggled, doing what he said. He lightly placed his hands on my hips, pushing closer to me. I did my best not to shudder, his closeness making my heart erratic. I turned my neck towards the wall, feeling his breath fan across my skin. I inhaled, and felt his teeth sink in quickly. I gasped, the pain lasting for a moment. I cupped his shoulders hard as he drank from me, slowly draining my blood into himself. He hummed, his hands slipping up my back and pulling me in deeper. I sighed, pleasure taking over my senses.
It felt good to have Colby this close, to feel him drink from me. That thought alone made my heart skip.
Colby pulled away, looking at me hesitantly, "Are you okay? I heard your heart stop for a second."
"Wha? Yeah, I'm fine." I could feel my hands tremble, "I think I forgot to breathe."
"Well, take some of my blood." He bit his wrist, pushing it towards me.
"I don't know, I think I'm okay." I argued half-heartedly.
"Drink, Y/N. Don't be stubborn." Colby smirked playfully at me.
I glared back sassily, leaning towards his bite. I placed my mouth on it as he pressed it further into my mouth. His hand rested softly on my side as my body turned into him, my back pressing against his front. As I spun, his hand drifted lower, touching the top of my thigh.
I sucked his blood down, the sweetness driving me crazy immediately. It was different from Sam's, but just as addictive. He chuckled deeply at my eagerness, allowing me to wrap my hands around his arm to keep him close.
"It's okay darling. Drink up. I'm not going anywhere." He whispered low.
My blood raced at his words, a whimper falling from my lips. I could feel it again, the ache between my legs. But this time I didn't care. All I could think about was his blood, or his cock. And both were making me wet.
He pulled back suddenly, a 'pop' noise echoing off the fluorescent lighted walls from my mouth. "Y/N, while I would allow you to drink from me for forever, I gotta get back."
"I-I-I," I took a deep breath, getting my bearings again, "Yeah. That's, um, probably for the best."
"Are you okay? Do you need me to stay with you?" He questioned, looking me over.
"No. Go ahead. I'll be alright." I confirmed.
He pressed his forehead against mine sweetly, "Hey, I'm sorry we didn't tell you sooner about the whole dream thing. How was it last night? Did you dream of Sam?"
I stepped back, blushing. "N-No. No, I didn't. I honestly can't remember my dream."
He beamed, "Well that's good. Maybe it will be the same tonight."
I nodded. "Hopefully."
~~\ /~~\ /~~
We were over a week into this arrangement and I felt like I was losing my mind.
Every day one of them was feeding on me, and every night I had a dirty dream about them. It didn't matter if I only had a sip of their blood or a lot. If their blood was in my system, I was dreaming about them fucking me senseless. And that's all I wanted. I couldn't even look at them without feeling like I wanted to rip their clothes off and beg them to fuck me.
It was embarrassing, tormenting, and made me feel insane. And also incredibly hot.
Luckily tonight was our first night off of the tour. We decided to all go out to eat and drink once it got late. Sam and Colby told me that they planned to find someone else to feed on, or possibly hit up a local blood bank, so I could rest easy tonight knowing they weren't going to feed on me.
God knows I needed the break...
Even though Sam and Colby's blood had been out of my system for a day, I still felt this overwhelming urge to fuck them. I couldn't deny that feeling this way left me confused beyond belief. Sure, they were good looking guys, and at times I had thought about kissing them or what it would be like to date them, but I never gave it more than a passing thought. But now all I could think about was them inside of me, taking me and doing what they wan-
No. No. No. Not tonight. Tonight I would relax, unwind, and drink.
And I did just that. I drank, and drank, and drank. The world felt a little off balance, a bit too spinny for my liking. I leaned against the wall of the bar, staring at the dance floor lights.
Sam sauntered over to me, "Heyyy, Y/N. You okay?"
"I'm Gucci, my dude," I snickered. I pointed at his drink, "Wait, vampires can get drunk?"
"Oh yeah. Especially since we didn't drink tonight." He admitted, then laughed. “Did you think we were acting all those times you saw us at parties plastered?”
"What really? I thought you guys planned to get some from..." I waved my hand around, "somewhere."
"We were, but it was a bust. Or our connection fell through." He shrugged it off, "But don't worry, we'll figure it out."
"I mean... you could always drink from me." I responded, ignoring the dull ache in my stomach.
He shook his head, "No, no. This is your night off. You deserve it. Don't worry about us."
I raised an eyebrow at him, "Are you sure?"
"Of course, Y/N." He confirmed.
Colby stumbled over to us, saying something in Sam's ear. "Hey, we're gonna head back to the hotel. You ready to leave?"
"Actually... yeah. I think I've drank enough tonight." I giggled, walking through the crowd to the exit with Sam and Colby.
"Well, if you need to sober up a bit, our blood could help." Colby stated.
I huffed, "It's my night off."
"...From being drank from," Colby chuckled. "But if you want our blood, you can have some. Take your pick."
I glanced at the both of them, sighing. "How about we wait until we're back at the hotel, yeah? Then I'll figure that out."
The ride home was tense, or at least it was for me. I felt like both boys were looking at me, waiting for me to make my choice. My skin grew hot under their stare, the ache coming back again.
C'mon. This was supposed to be my one night off.
Entering the hotel, the boys locked arms with me gently, helping me to the elevator.
I smiled lazily, "You don't need to help me. I'm not that drunk."
"Really? You sure about that?" Sam smirked.
"Trust me." I mumbled, "I sobered up in the car."
“Well that's good. But you should still have some of our blood.” Colby persisted.
The elevator 'dinged' softly, the doors opening slowly. I walked down the hallway towards my room, the boys following right behind me. I pulled out my key card, swiping it and yanking open my door.
I whined, trying to pull my shoes off to no avail. "Remind me to never get drunk in heels again. It sucks." I flopped down on the bed, groaning into the cover.
"So, do you want us to leave? We can always do this in the morning." Sam asked.
I picked my head up, "No, it's okay. I'll be honest, I still haven't made a decision about who to drink from."
"Well take a second if you want to." Colby spoke.
"There's no need." I sat up, turning to them. "I don't want to do it out of order so... drink from me first."
He frowned. "What? No, it's your day off."
"It's fine, Colby. I know it is, but you guys didn't eat... drink, today." I assured him.
Colby looked over at Sam accusingly, and he shrugged. "I accidentally let it slip."
"You usually are a blabbermouth when you're drunk." I teased.
Colby shook his head, "We'll be fine."
"I mean... maybe we should drink, if she's okay with it." Sam argued lightly.
"I am okay with it. Plus, you'll just give me your blood anyway. So then we'll be even." I remarked.
Colby's expression softened, Sam's face matching his. "Are you sure? I don't want you to do this if you don't want to."
"I totally don't mind, guys. Really." I insisted.
Colby paused for a minute, then nodded. "Okay, but we're only taking a little from you."
"That's fine by me." I stood up, swaying back and forth as my lightheadedness faded. The boys placed hands on my back, keeping me from falling.
Sam snorted, "Yeah, we're definitely only taking a little."
They gave each other a glance, Sam sliding towards me first. I gazed at him, snaking my eyes across his face, then tilted my head back.
His voice came out in a husky whisper, "Aren't you eager..."
I rolled my eyes, "Just do it before I change my-"
My breath hitched, Sam's fangs sinking deep into my skin. I grabbed his arms, bracing myself as he drank from me. He grunted lowly, his body firmly against mine.
I peered out of the corner of my eye, watching Colby watch us. He studied my face, taking in my expression. My eyes fluttered as Sam pulled away, stopping much sooner than he usually would.
"Fuck... I needed that." He wiped his mouth, making sure to lick the excess blood off his hand. My core throbbed at his actions. I bit my lip to keep from moaning. "Your turn, Colby."
He locked eyes with me, "You good?"
I stammered, "S-Sure. Go ahead."
"Let me know if it's too much, okay?" He uttered.
I nodded, moving my head to the other side and allowing him access. He lowered his mouth onto my neck, biting softly. I exhaled, my hands holding onto his arms. He took a few sips from me, then pulled back. "Wait, let me get a better angle."
I squinted at him, confused. He circled around, stopping behind me. His hands slithered to my hips, tugging me closer.
"Much better." He grunted, then sank his teeth into me hastily. I gasped, surprised by the force.
I looked up at Sam, his eyes gazing at us with a devilish glint. He cocked his head to the side, slinking over to us inch by inch. "I think you should take some of my blood now, Y/N. Before you get too light headed."
He bit into his wrist, placing it in front of me. "Drink up."
I leaned forward some, taking his blood into my mouth. I sighed, euphoria hitting me instantly. I had never had one of them drink from me while the other gave me blood. My mind was racing, my heart pounding loudly against my chest. My body in flames from pleasure and pain. And I couldn't tell which one I liked more.
Sam's fangs dazzled in the light as he spoke, "Oh, Colby. We forgot to tell her something again."
Colby released his mouth from my neck, swallowing, "And what could that be Sam?"
Sam's eyes landed on mine, almost empty of feeling, "When you exchange blood like this with us... it makes you ours."
I furrowed my brow at him, keeping my mouth on his wound. My voice came out muffled, "Ours?"
"Yeah. Ours. See, we might have deceived you a little bit." Sam shrugged.
"Our bad." Colby snickered.
"He and I have been into you for a while, Y/N. But we knew you only ever saw us as a friend. Plus, we didn't want to have to fight over you so we thought the best course of action would be to just... make you both of ours." Sam grinned evilly, "And God, you made it so easy. Just following along without question."
Colby pressed his lips against my ear, keeping his voice deep and low. "With our blood running through your system, you will always be ours. You will be just as obsessed with us as we are with you."
My mind and body barely took their words in, the only thing I wanted was more of Sam's blood. My cunt pulsed as his blood invaded my system, my mind only thinking of him and all of the things I wanted him to do to me.
Sam yanked his wrist away, a desperate mewl escaping my mouth.
My mind was foggy, my head catching up to what I just heard. "W-W-What? Are you guys-?"
Colby spun me, pushing me back into Sam. He wrapped his arm around me tight, biting into my neck. Colby did the same to his wrist, placing my mouth on it. I grunted against him, glaring at him for a moment before all of my anger melted into pure bliss.
Colby's blood mixed with Sam's... and suddenly I wanted nothing more than for both of them to take me. God I could almost feel them inside of me, touching me in all the right spots.
"There you go, baby. Such a good girl for us." Colby smirked.
Sam pulled his mouth away, just to place it against the hollow of my ear, "Our good girl."
I could feel some of my mind come back to me for a split second. I hissed against Colby's wrist, "Fuck you."
He scoffed, "Sweetheart, you can say that all you want, but I know deep down you don't mean it. Well, you don't mean it in that way."
"Don't lie to us, baby girl." Sam sang angrily, latching his mouth back onto my bite.
"You know how we know that? I've heard you every night of this tour moan our names in your sleep. I've heard the way you whimper and cry and beg for us to fuck you when you touch yourself," Colby growled, his eyes intense as they bore into mine. "Don't deny it, Y/N.
Sam yanked back his mouth as Colby pulled his wrist away. I panted, keeping my distance from them and pressing myself against the desk. They stared me down, taking me in like prey.
My legs were shaking, my body tingling everywhere. I felt like I was on fire from the inside out. I had never been so wet in my entire life. I wanted to scream at them, to hate them, to tell them to leave. But everything in my head and body were begging them to stay; to touch me.
Sam stepped towards me, closing the gap between us, "You're ours, Y/N. Doesn't that sound amazing? To be shared by us?"
I couldn't help but nod my head. I wanted to deny it, but it wasn't true.
"No one else can have you like this. Only us." Sam whispered into my ear, turning my head gently to look at him. He leaned in and kissed me deeply, taking my breath away with the feverish kiss. My hand dug into his shirt, holding on it as his tongue tasted mine.
I was ripped away from his kiss as Colby pushed himself against me. He cupped my face, rolling my head towards him. "Only us," he stated. He pressed his lips to mine, his mouth and tongue tender against my own. I whined as I felt Sam begin to kiss my neck, nibbling and sucking on the skin. I could hear him murmur 'ours' over and over again.
Colby removed his mouth from mine, following Sam's lead in kissing and nipping at my neck and body. I was overwhelmed, my chest rising and falling rapidly. I squeezed my eyes shut, still feeling Sam and Colby snake up and down my body with their hands and mouths. A breathy groan escaped my lips, my mind unable to slow down. If they touched the right spot, I would completely come undone.
I needed them. I wanted them. I would do anything for them.
The sound of silence fell over the room. Then, a low ringing took over my hearing. Soon it grew louder and louder and louder. I popped my eyes open, gasping.
I was in my hotel room, and it was bright outside. The ringing was my alarm on my phone going off - 9:30 A.M.
I sat up, my head weighing a thousand pounds. I was in my clothes from the night before, but tucked comfortably into bed.
How the fuck did I get here? Where the hell were Sam and Colby?
It suddenly dawned on me - Oh my God, that was a dream?
There's no way. That felt too real. That can't be right.
I changed quickly, knowing that Sam and Colby would be waiting for me in the lobby so we could travel to the next venue. I never unpacked, so I threw my dirty clothes in my suitcase, and trudged out the door with everything I had brought.
I stumbled down to the lobby, finding Sam and Colby waiting off to the side for me with their luggage. Their assistant was talking to them, along with someone from Zumiez's team, about the upcoming meet and greet.
Colby beamed when he saw me, "Hey, we were wondering if you were gonna make it."
"What happened last night?" I glared.
Sam turned at the sound of my voice, "Do you not remember...?"
"Just tell me what happened. Please." I answered, short.
Colby inhaled, "Well, we planned to... continue drinking in your room. But once we got there, you flopped on your bed and passed out."
"We figured you were too tired after all the traveling and drinking that we just decided to call it a night." Sam added.
Colby commented, "I took your shoes off before tucking you in. I know you hate falling asleep with heels on."
"Oh." I vaguely remembered falling onto my bed. And my shoes were off when I woke up… "I could have sworn something else happened."
Colby gasped lowly, "Did you have a dream about us?"
I immediately blushed, "Um, you could say that."
"What was it about? Tell me." He pleaded.
"I don't think you want to know, to be honest. I squirmed under their gaze, doing my best to ignore the parts of the dream my body couldn't forget. "It was kind of all over the place. And you guys were a bit... mean, to say the least."
"Oh, shit. Well, sorry that my dream self was an asshole to you." Colby apologized.
Sam agreed, "Ditto."
I half smiled, exhaling. "Thanks. I appreciate it."
"Of course, Y/N. You're our..." Sam smiled, "best friend. We would never be mean to you."
"Unless you want us to be, of course." Colby taunted, a mischievous look in his eye.

1) Savage I Tumblr I AO3 I
Adrian makes a fool of himself in front of a pretty girl, but hey, when doesn’t he? She’s weird, funny, and treats him gently, which obviously makes him obsessed with her, and much to his surprise, she seems to like having him around too. Together, they try to carve out a peaceful life together, yet her less than perfect family messes up their harmony.
2) Cowboy & Piggy I Tumblr I AO3 I
No, Adrian had not been crushing on his colleague. That’s just, like, not true in the slightest. It’s not as if the moment she became available, he said something he could never take back.
3) Calendar Girl I Tumblr 1 I 2 I 3 I AO3 I
When his buddy goes missing, Adrian spends all of his time and energy trying to get her back to him. Because they’re friends, obviously.
4) Hercules and Megara I Tumblr I AO3 I
Childhood friends have a habit of drifting apart. Usually, it’s a natural thing. Adrian never wanted to separate from his best friend, but he thought he had to.
5.a) Squirtle Pyjamas I Tumblr I AO3 I
She knows how to calm Adrian down. And wears his clothes. And teases him relentlessly. And knows exactly what to do to rile him up. And knows his deepest secret. But, no, nothing can happen between them. He must resist the temptation to do something about it.
5.b) A Kid? I Tumblr I AO3 I
In preparation for Allison’s wedding, Adrian becomes the babysitter of her kid for a day and his girlfriend realises how good at the whole thing he is. The idea of marriage and kids suddenly seeps into Adrian’s brain and he can’t seem to shake them away.
6) Spot Over By The Fire Station I Tumblr I AO3 I
After his manager forces him to go to the emergency room for a concussion, Adrian meets an old friend, and she looks worse for wear. He knows he can help with that.
7) Hopelessly Devoted I Tumblr I AO3 I
They broke up a while ago, and Adrian still isn’t over it. Chris takes him on a night out, and they get trashed. Adrian never imagined that he’d get up in front of people and serenade his ex, but he did.
8) My Favourite Girl I Tumblr I AO3 I
Telekinetic powers can be beneficial sometimes. Other times? Yeah, not so much. After a mission gone wrong, it might be that her gifts are godsent. Adrian, however, knows she is godsent, especially with boobs like that.
9) Sweltering I Tumblr I AO3 I
It’s way too hot in Evergreen for Adrian to even hide his attraction to Y/N. He tries. And fails miserably. Especially when the guy who delivers her hot tub is so swoon-worthy.
10) Wednesdays I Tumblr I AO3 I
While Peacemaker was in prison, Vigilante made another friend, and she had a much lovelier voice than Chris did, and after a takedown, Adrian can’t quite get his thoughts off her.
11) What You Deserve I Tumblr I AO3 I
Vigilante has had a long night and just wants to see his favourite girl then go to sleep. Is that too much to ask for?
12) Big Strong Guy I Tumblr I AO3 I
No. Adrian is fine with scary movies. He’s fine, okay? That’s impossible; he doesn’t have goosebumps. You’re seeing things. Must be, because a big, strong guy who doesn’t get scared of shit like that.
13) Lucky Number 14 I Tumblr I AO3 I
A work outing let’s some things come to light, yet Adrian isn’t there to hear it.
14) Last In Line I Tumblr I AO3 I
Getting kidnapped is becoming more of a regular thing for Adrian. Yet he knows this one. And she definitely knows him.
15) The Things You Do For Pussy I Tumblr I AO3 I
Living together means that Adrian’s secret identity isn’t really a secret to her, so she loves to make thirsty comments about Vigilante whenever she can, and it’s not as if Adrian feels something more than friendship for his roommate, right?
16) Waller’s Way I Tumblr I AO3 I
When the new government-issued 11th Street Kid arrives, the team soon finds out why Waller picked her. They don’t really know how Adrian pissed off their boss so much, but he sure isn’t happy with their new colleague.
17) Clingy I Tumblr I AO3 I
The Vigilante mobile breaks down, and Adrian needs a hand, transport-wise and socially, it seems. Once his coworker gives him a hand, it sets him off, and there is no going back to the platonic relationship they had before. A relationship that needs to have clear boundaries because Adrian is known to get far too excited to interact with her at any chance he gets.
18) Beautiful Things I Tumblr I AO3 I
Since Vigilante no longer has to work his shitty busboy job and that leaves his schedule wide open for the rest of the day, he soon finds himself frequenting a quaint coffee shop, not only because the drinks there are good, but because he’s grown fond of the woman working there.
19) The Distraction I Tumblr I AO3 I
Every now and then, Peacemaker has a solo mission. Whenever these happen, Vigilante has to be distracted so he doesn’t make the solo into a duo. The only person that is capable of that is the girl that Adrian hates… No, that can’t be right. He doesn’t hate her, not really. Quite the opposite, actually.
20) The Monarch Hotel I Tumblr I AO3 I
How many times does Vigilante need to get injured before Harcourt finally gives in and hires a medic to help out with the squad’s injuries? Far too many times, that’s how many. When it’s uncovered that a fancy hotel is linked to not only what’s left of the legion of butterflies but also a string of weird deaths and missing persons reports, the only two for the job are lovesick Adrian and the newbie. Will they both make it out of paradise alive?
21) Peacemaker Jr I Tumblr I AO3 I
Peacemaker scrubbed all mention of his kid from his file. But when the butterflies find out about her, he must admit to his team that he needs their skills to find her. Then, Chris really needs Adrian’s help to keep her safe, but he’s concerned that his buddy is going to get far too familiar with his daughter. And maybe those fears are warranted.
22) On The Road I Tumblr I AO3 I
Peacemaker’s mother fled with her unborn child when Chris was a teenager, and he’d always wanted to find his family again. After annoying Waller, he must send his friends out to help save his family, and Adrian finds out that he is more than willing to throw himself into danger to ensure that Peace’s sister is unharmed.
23) Slumber Party I Tumblr I AO3 I
Had Vigilante intended to find the missing mayor’s daughter? No, but he wasn’t going to admit that. He’d completed the 11th Street Kids’ mission entirely by himself and found himself caring for the kidnapped girl.
24) Damsel I Tumblr I AO3 I
Vigilante notices a girl and her not-so-nice boyfriend arguing, and just as the hero is about to reprimand the bad boyfriend, she does something unexpected. When she finds him a week later, they come to learn that they mesh together quite well. Will that chemistry remain when she knows who’s under the visor?
25) Bacon and Bloodshed I Tumblr I AO3 I
When Vigilante came across a crying girl covered in blood, he didn’t expect to have breakfast with her the next morning.
26) Reunited and it Feels So Good I Tumblr I AO3 I
After months apart under witness protection, Y/N and Adrian reunite following the defeat of the Butterflies. Both have changed—Adrian’s lost his curls, Y/N’s sporting new tattoos and a mullet—but their connection is stronger than ever.
Tumblr media
1) Joyride I Tumblr I AO3 I
There are three things Jake loves to do at work. None of which are work. One: eating. Two: flirting with his girlfriend. Three: annoying Kevin. At first, he only thought he’d only get to do two of those three options.
2) Part Of The Crew I Tumblr I AO3 I
Kevin’s niece shakes up Jake’s little peanut head in the best way possible. For the first time in his life, he’s nervous to even flirt with a girl because, like, what if he fucks up? That would suck.
3) 95 I Tumblr I AO3 I
A wardrobe mix-up causes Jake’s secret relationship to come to light. Then, when they happen to match one part of their outfit one day, a formal complaint is filed against them.
4) Subconsciously I Tumblr I AO3 I
Jake has never watched the Fast and Furious films, so why can he quote them?
5) On the Same Paige I Tumblr I AO3 I
Jake is preppy and charismatic and dumb and talkative, which is the complete opposite of Beth’s niece. Why do they work so well together then?
Tumblr media
1) A Dog On A Leash I Tumblr I AO3 I
Thanks to his attempt at total domination over the population of Evergreen spectacularly failing, Jeffrey was forced to be confined in his room. The only interaction he gets is annoying David whenever he brings his meals in. That is, until another face appears. A familiar face. A face of someone he presumed had perished in the apocalypse.

Spy x Family Headcanons
All right! Thanks to some mutuals' encouragement, I decided to write down some of my Spy x Family headcanons. Some are more theories than hc, but hey, it's all in good fun 😊
1.Yor will be the one who kisses (or tries to kiss) Twilight. It fits her character arc, there's been some crazy hints and she has a crush on her husband.
Tumblr media
2.When Yor confesses to Twilight (or kisses him), he'll have the opportunity to set up a honey trap again. He'll think it's convenient for Operation Strix; he'll rationalize the same thing he did during the bar date and conclude a honey trap is the right thing to do for the mission. However, when he sees Yor's eyes and realizes she's totally in love with him, he's going to freak out and won't be able to go through with it. Which brings me to my next hc...
3.Twilight is going to reject Yor. It will be devastating for both of them. Yor will think she's not good enough for him to love her when it's exactly the opposite: he's in love with her and that's why he rejected her. He doesn't want her to be another honey trap. In fact, this will probably be how Twilight realizes he's in love with his wife.
Tumblr media
4.Anya knows her parents are in love. She can read their mind! More on that here.
5.At some point, Twilight and Yor are going to share a bed. It will be very exciting because it will probably happen right when they're both in the middle of figuring out their feelings for each other.
6.Maybe I'm wrong about this one but I still think Martha is somehow involved with The Garden. That whole arc was about her, yet she wasn't in the cover of the volume. I'm thinking her story is not over; we still have to know how she ended up with the Blackbells.
7.The relationship between Damian and Donovan Desmond is a foil of the relationship between [Redacted] and his father. It will be a trigger and mess things up for Twilight, because he will see his own story with adult eyes now.
8.Twilight's dad is alive. And not only that; I suspect he's a double agent. In fact, there's a chance we won't know which side he really belongs until the very end.
9.Anya was an accident. I don't think Project Apple experiments with children, but Anya was just born there so they experimented on her. I'm not sure if she was an accident between two prisoners of war or between a prisoner of war and a scientist, but I think she's one of a kind.
10.There's a third country involved in all this. It has been casually mentioned a few times.
11.Yor will be the one who leaves the Forgers first. Here are some reasons/theories of why this could happen. This, of course, will throw everything out of balance. Which brings me to...
12.Without Yor, there's a chance that Twilight will do something really stupid. Whether it's for the sake of the Operation or even thinking he's protecting Anya. It will be the wrong choice.
13.Yuri is not a bad guy. He's just a kid who has been brainwashed with nationalism. I think he'll be the one who discovers Twilight's identity (he already suspects Loid). At some point, he'll probably have to choose between his family and his duty to his country. He'll choose his family, of course. (More on Yuri here).
And finally, my favorite hc/theory, the [Redacted Theory]:
14.Yor is not in love with Loid or Twilight. She's in love with [Redacted], which means Yor sees the real person behind the mask, that it's impossible for him to hide his true self from the person he loves and, of course, that she's in love with his true self. I love this headcanon so much I wrote a whole fic about it 😊
That's it!

I absolutely loved the first two episodes of Love in the Big City, and I thought all of the adaptation choices were brilliant, but the part that hit me most as I was watching and that my mind keeps circling back to relates to this question from @bengiyo:
In the novel, we see everything through Young's rather biting and cynical internal monologue, while in the drama we see other characters through a broader lens. With this different perspective, how does Mi Ae's outing of Go Yeong and the fallout change compared to the novel?
Tumblr media
I think for me, this shift that allowed us to see Mi Ae outside of Yeong's perspective enhanced my empathy for her and for the choices she made. Because it all comes back to this quote, originally from the novel and used verbatim in the show:
"Through me, she learned that being a gay man sucks, and through her, I learned that being a woman equally sucks."
Tumblr media
Yeong and Mi Ae connected with each other because they were both living outside the accepted norms and were isolated and lonely as a result. The forms of oppression they experienced were not the same, but it was a point of connection and the foundation of their deep bond. They fell in love with each other because of their shared choice to be themselves loudly, and fuck the social consequences. They were each other's most important person, regardless of who they were dating. And so when Mi Ae, shaken up after her abortion and exhausted by trying to fight the social tide, made the choice to stop being true to herself and conform, of course Yeong felt abandoned. And then when she outed him to protect her conformity, betrayed.
Tumblr media
In the novel, we learn about Mi Ae (Jaehee) outing Yeong (Young) from him, and it's presented to us as a callous betrayal, because that's how it felt to him. But in the show, we get to see Mi Ae make that decision. We see how cornered she felt when her boyfriend confronted her about the lies she'd been telling, we see his genuine (justified) upset at learning she'd been living with a man he doesn't know, we see her panicking and reaching for something to smooth it over, and we can see that in the moment, it feels reasonable to her to tell her partner the truth. We can see that it wasn't malicious, and she did not intend to hurt Yeong.
But it still hurts, because in making that decision, she implicitly acknowledged that Yeong is no longer her most important person. Someone else, or at least the idea of what he represents, became her top priority, and she protected her romantic relationship rather than protecting Yeong. She still loved Yeong, but she wouldn't put him first any longer, and when she made that choice their relationship as they knew it was over. Mi Ae was ultimately captivated by the allure of social acceptance, and she chose a path of conformity that was not open to Yeong--she is, after all, a cishet woman and able to revert to societal expectations much more easily than Yeong ever could as a gay man who would struggle to pass even if he wanted to. Her choice was confirmation that, in fact, their situations do not equally suck, and she retreated to her privileged identity, leaving him behind.
Tumblr media
And so we come to the scene that punched me in the heart more than any other in this first section: the two of them singing together at her wedding, taking one last glorious moment to be themselves again in front of people who would never understand them. In that moment I felt so sad for Yeong, that this relationship that meant so much to him was irrevocably changed, and for Mi Ae, that she abandoned these aspects of herself out of fear and committed herself to a man who looked stunned to see a glimpse of the real her. And more than anything, I felt sad about how isolating and alienating it feels to simply exist in the margins of what is socially acceptable, that conforming is always the easier choice for those who can hide, and that Yeong was once again left to struggle alone.

The Meeting of Minds.
—————————————————————————
-Aunt scientist of Senku-
(OC-seiko)
Part 1:
It was heavy inside Xeno Houston Wingfield's underground hiding place. The dim light of the lamps cast shadows on the stone walls, illuminating the serious faces of the soldiers under his command. In the center of the enclosure, attached to a chair and tied firmly, was Gen Asagiri.
Despite the unfavorable situation, the mentalist still maintained his characteristic smile, although his eyes showed a slight discomfort.
- Ugh... this is too tight. - He complained, twisting his wrists inside the ties. - If you want a civilized conversation, Xeno, tying up your guest is not the best way to start.
Xeno, who was calmly reviewing some notes about the rocket project, looked up at Gen, but before he could answer, something changed in the environment.
A sound.
Low. Quick. I need it.
Stanley, who was next to Xeno, raised the gun in an instant, his sharp senses detecting the subtle movement coming from the corridor. But before he could react completely, one of the guards fell to the ground with a deaf thud.
Xeno narrowed his eyes. This was not a common attack.
The other soldiers took out their improvised weapons, but then, before they could do anything, a figure emerged from the darkness, moving with surgical precision.
It was a woman.
His hair was identical to Senku Ishigami's, but it was stuck in two forward braids, framing his face impeccably. His eyes, of the same golden hue, shone in the light of the lamp with an analytical intensity.
She wore practical clothes for exploration and fieldwork, and the posture indicated that she was not a simple adventurer - every step she took was calculated, efficient.
Gen blinked when he saw her.
- Oh, finally, my savior arrives!
Xeno kept his expression neutral, but his mind was working at a thousand per hour.
- You must be Seiko. - He said, already deducing her identity.
She smiled slightly, without taking her eyes off him.
- And you must be Xeno Houston Wingfield.
The scientist crossed his arms, evaluating her.
- A woman of multiple specialties, they say. Scientist, engineer, mathematician, apothecary and also with practice in medicine. It seems too good to be true.
- For a man who built a civilization from scratch, you should be more used to dealing with prodigies. - Seiko countered, taking another step forward.
Stanley kept the gun pointed at her, but Xeno raised a hand, signaling him to wait.
- Did you come alone? - He asked, intrigued.
Seiko tilted her head slightly.
- Are you implying that I would need an army to get Gen out of here?
Xeno let out a soft laugh.
- Interesting.
It was the only warning he gave before moving forward.
Seiko noticed his movement at the same moment. Xeno was not only a scientist - his brilliant mind was also accompanied by an impressive physical capacity. He tried to grab her wrist to immobilize her, but Seiko already foresaw this movement and deviated, turning her body with agility.
Her counterattack was accurate. With a slight movement, he pressed a specific point on Xeno's arm, causing an involuntary reflex that made him let go of his attempt to grab her.
Stanley finally shot, but Seiko had already pulled Gen away, dodging the shots with an agile jump.
Xeno massaged his arm lightly, still feeling the impact of the pressure. He looked at Seiko with a curious glow in his eyes.
- You're not just theory. You know how to apply it in practice.
- It would be shameful to depend only on words when you live in a world without advanced technology. - She replied, already positioning herself near the exit.
Gen waved to Xeno with an amused smile.
- It was a lovely visit, but I think I prefer my freedom.
Before they could stop them, Seiko launched a small explosion of smoke - a chemical trick he created with apothecary herbs and minerals available in nature. The dense smoke filled the place, making everyone cough and lose their sight for a few seconds.
When the fog dissipated, Seiko and Gen had disappeared.
Stanley lowered the gun, grumbling.
- That was humiliating.
Xeno, however, didn't seem frustrated. On the contrary.
He looked at the point where Seiko had been moments before, a small smile appearing on his lips.
- Fascinating...
Stanley stared at him, skeptical.
- Don't tell me you liked her.
Xeno just adjusted his gloves and went back to his table.
- I would say it was a first impression... thought-provoking.
He knew that wouldn't be his last date with Seiko. And next time, I would be even more prepared to face her.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Everything was always very complicated between them. Marinette in love with Adrien and Adrien in love with Ladybug, both unaware of each other's identities and feelings.
Marinette always remained hiding her feelings for Adrien, too embarrassed to say anything and Adrien continued to yearn for Ladybug. This continued for a long time, until your arrival in their lives.
You were a new student and felt out of place after leaving your old school and your friends. You hoped to make friends at this new school, but you were afraid you wouldn't be able to do so. But luckily, or unluckily, you met Marinette first and she introduced you to her friends, who immediately liked you.
Marinette liked you, at first sight, you were so kind and sweet. She almost fell right there and it confused her, but she couldn't help but admire you.
Adrien became interested in you after a few conversations, and you caught his interest and attraction. He had something about you that made him attracted, and curious, an unknown feeling that he wanted to feel more of.
It wasn't difficult to notice their interest in you, Marinette constantly stuttering and blushing when you were around and Adrien, although shy, loved flirting with you and seeing you blush.
It wasn't easy to admit their interest in you, Marinette was still in love with Adrien but she really was in love with you, therefore, she didn't know what to do. Adrien was more resolute and acted in the way he knew how wanting to declare himself because he could no longer keep his feelings to himself.
Adrien was the one who first noticed Marinette's interest in you and he was surprised to notice that he didn't have a problem with it. If it were anyone else, he would have, but not with her. Because Marinette had a habit of stalking you incessantly, it didn't take long for her to realize that Adrien liked you. She was curious and excited, not jealous like she thought she would be.
They talked and decided to act quickly, both confessing to you. You were surprised and flattered and accepted, and finally, a romance happening.
Marinette is very jealous and overprotective, always wanting to know where you are and she will be very worried if she doesn't know. She will go so far as to use her Miraculous to look for you, even knowing the consequences.
Adrien is possessive, getting jealous very easily, and doesn't react well to it. He doesn't like it when you're with someone other than him and Marinette and will use intimidation to make someone stay away from you, whether with money or even his Miraculous.
They have always been very protective of you and at any sign of danger you will be quickly hidden and protected. They already talked about giving you a Miraculous, but Adrien considered it too dangerous. There was always a chance you could get hurt and he wasn't going to allow it.
You are spoiled intensely, clothes made by Marinette and bought by Adrien, jewelry, food, expensive and extravagant gifts to the simplest ones, like roses. You will never lack for anything as long as they are by your side.
They want to see you happy more than anything and will do everything to make that happen. They can't even think about the idea of you being akumatized, the idea alone sends them into a frenzy at the thought of it happening to you. No, they have to be sure that this will never happen.
Marinette is very kind and soft, a mask of her true stalker and extremely jealous side. Adrien is kind and calm, always with a smile on his face and ready to make you smile, but he acts very strangely when you don't do what he asks.
They know they shouldn't use Miraculous for selfish reasons but when it comes to you, they won't care. Marinette doesn't care about ruining herself for you and Adrien has been ruined for a long time.
You are theirs and anyone who tries to get in the way will suffer the consequences. After all, you didn't just belong to Marinette and Adrien, but also to Ladybug and Cat Noir.

My friend who didn't even reach chapter 400 of TCF asked me why I love ogCale so much ?
I told her every single reason why I love ogCale so much. And I don't love him after reading chapter 656, I have loved him since chapter 1 !
The reasons I loved him before reading chapter 656 are:
His face! He looks like an angel. I started reading TCF after seeing his face!
He never hurts anyone physically.
He hates gangsters and scammers.
He respects women and defends them (according to wiki).
He doesn't create problems for his step family.
He comforted his father after Jour's death (he was between 5-8 years old)
Unlike other 2 faced nobles, he is true to himself.
He isn't greddy for powers or titles.
He never shouted or raised hands at Basen
And the reasons I loved him after reading chapter 656 and side story are:
He understands krsCale so well. He never let any misunderstanding happen when they talked.
His smile is very bright despite what he went through.
He destroyed his reputation for his step family at the age of 8.
He kept acting nonstop for 10-12 years.
He survived 20 years in the middle of the war.
He showed director Mia her/his place. (Director Mia harassed krsCale quite a lot)
He truly wishes krsCale to live happily and peacefully.
He told krsCale how he could avoid being the duke.
He took care of krsCale' responsibility despite the fact that he can easily avoid it.
His eyes were shaking when he heard Choi Jung Soo is dead. Means he actually cares about the dead people.
He can do anything for his family and still cares about them.
He didn't insult Harris villagers because he is a heartless person, but rather, he was also hurt (It's not justification but explanation)
Because of him, krsCale now fully accepted his new identity.
He is very elegant and noble-like.
But when it's needed, he becomes a a cool trash.
Most importantly, he let krsCale dig his mom' grave and let krsCale have Jour' power.
All of the TCF characters are tragic. Like KRS, Choi Han, Raon, Alberu, Mary and everyone else.
But I can relate with ogCale more than I can with anyone else.
He lost his mother at the age of 5-8. Instead of mourning himself, he comforted his father. Then when his step family came, instead of creating problems for them, he destroyed his reputation for them. He also kept his distance from his family for their own shake despite the fact that he loves them dearly . He also gave up his birth right for Basen.
Despite doing so much for everyone around him, he lost his family. Instead of hiding from the war, he participated in the war to avenge his family. He knew he could die but he still kept fighting.
Then after doing so much, he agreed to let his place taken by a stranger. When everyone got a second chance, he didn't get any. When everyone forgot all the pain they suffer in the 1st timeline, he still remembers it.
It would be easy to do so when his family was dead. But now that he knows they are alive, isn't it pure torture that he can't meet with them?
Maybe he wished for a very long time so that his family would come back alive. Now that they are alive, he isn't allowed to see them.
Now he is taking care of a unknown child and a team he has no connection with.
He never lived his life for himself.
1st for his father after Jour's death.
Then for his step family.
Then to avenge his family and territory.
Finally, for a his niece and team.
He never lives for his own shake!
