Ryusui:

he probably thinks Christmas is all about the presents

So on Christmas Day there will probably be trucks full of gifts, all for you! Please there’s no reason for him to have that much money

BUT-

You have to teach him that there are other things to enjoy other than just a pile of presents

The first time he watched a Christmas movie with you and your is DEFINITELY a core memory for him

Your matching pajamas, the way you snuggle into him and sharing the hot chocolate you prepared, the echo of your laugh filling his ears, and at the very end how you kiss him and thank him for spending Christmas with you

He completely melts

He’s so in love, he just wants moments with you like this all the time.

The only Christmases he remembers are just his dad and uncle basically throwing him into a room full of gifts and leaving for a Christmas vacation somewhere 

So having genuine time with you and your family and sharing your love with each other makes him so happy he might even tear up a bit my poor baby😭

Now it’s tradition for the both of  you to do something like that every year❤️

Senku:

He spends it in the lab 💀 

You have to drag him out of there

You have to BEG him to back cookies with you

“Come on Senku! Please! It’s like chemistry, we have to mix a bunch of stuff together!”

After 30 minutes of begging he finally caved

Of course Senku knows all the perfect measurements to everything so the only thing you really had to do was mix the ingredients together

Your mom and dad did keep him busy with random conversations though

In the living room you can hear them whispering about something but you don’t know what

The cookies tasted great!

After you both said goodbye to your family and your mom hugged the crap outta him you both headed back home.

“You don’t have to stay, Senku. I’m ok with you going back to the lab. I just wanted to spend time with you…”

And with that he leaves-

You sit in the living room, bummed out that Senku left again

Senku comes back with a small box and a huge blush

“Here…”

You were super shocked when you opened it up 

“Senku…this ring, it’s platinum right? You didn’t really…”

“It’s what the old man would’ve wanted. And…it’s what I want too…”

You started to cry

Senku didn’t know what to do 

You just held each other and told each other how much you loved one another, excited about the future with each other

Stanley was on a mission during Christmas

So, Xeno invited you and your family to a Christmas party he and his colleagues were hosting

You really didn’t want to go, especially since you wouldn’t know anyone and Stanley wasn’t with you

But Xeno was still your friend so you decided to show up for him

You and your relatives stand there awkwardly in one of the door frames as Xeno and his colleagues talk about whatever project they were working on

You dad and mom go find some of the snacks and your siblings (if you have any) go causing trouble somewhere

There you were by yourself in the corner

“You look lonely over here under the mistletoe Miss. May i accompany you?”

You knew that voice 

You look up to see your boyfriend 

“Stanley!”

You practically jump on him, wrapping your small arms around his much bigger body

He pets your hair, then lifts your  chin

“We’re still under the mistletoe.” 

You smile at his cheesy gesture something he doesn’t normally do 

You both lean closer together and kiss, desperately clinging to each other like you’re both afraid to let go

“Oh! Is this your boyfriend (y/n)?” 

Your lips immediately leave Stanley’s as you see your whole family just staring at you and Stanley under the mistletoe 

You face turns red instantly causing Stanley to laugh

He sticks his hand out for your family

“My name is Stanley Snyder. It’s an honor to finally meet you all.”

Tsukasa 

You had a gingerbread house competition 

Your mother was the judge

You and Mirai were a team 

Tsukasa and your dad were the other

Tsukasa was struggling making the designs in the roof

Your dad couldn’t get the gum drops to stick

But you and Mirai had a great time with the gumdrops and candy canes, sprinkling them everywhere!

After your major victory Mirai wanted to play with her dolls 

So you and Tsukasa sat on the couch, snuggling up next to each other while your mom kept Mirai entertained 

“Do you want kids?” 

Your head pops up with the sudden question

He locks his eyes with yours, patiently waiting for your response 

A soft smile grows on your face 

“Of course I do!” 

This leaves Tsukasa heart-struck

He kisses your forehead, his favorite way of showing his love for you

You can hear Mirai’s ewws, making both of you laugh

“No sex before marriage!” Your dad yells from the kitchen

During his downtime in the military, he comes home to you and takes you on lots of dates

Be it indoors or outdoors, he’s got you covered

I feel like Stan is the type to bring you to a laser tag arena or an airsoft arena. He wants you to experience what a “battlefield” feels like. (He will let you win because the smile and laugh you make is enough of a win for him) 

He’s paid GOOD money, being a marine commander for an elite force, he’s the type to spoil you rotten. You want a new wardrobe? Go use his card. Want a new gadget, you already know his pin. Want to go dine at an expensive restaurant, you know where his card is. He will give you everything you want. 

I think Stanley LOVES cuddles, he’s away a lot and is rarely with you, so for the times that he is, he will just lay in bed with you in his arms as you both talk about everything you two wanna talk about.

Stanley is someone who will listen to everything you say, his attention to detail and memory is so good. You mentioned this one thing in passing and you’re shocked when he brings it up months later. 

If you’re not comfortable with his smoking, he won’t smoke when with you. He’s addicted to it, sure, but he won’t risk getting you sick. If he really needs to, he might use chewing tobacco instead. 

I think you both would get a matching tattoo together. It would be something you both designed and is meaningful to you both. 

Whenever he’s on his break, he will take you travelling for vacation. 

He’ll take you to beaches, resorts, tourist spots, and to other perfect vacation places. 

You have definitely met Xeno, Stanley introduced you to his childhood friend when he was sure that he was serious with your relationship. You would get along really well with Xeno and you both tease Stanley a lot.

Stanley would be down to wear matching outfits! You both slay so much.

We all know how attractive Stanley is, and he knows it as well. 

There will be times when someone would come up to him and flirt, he will tell them that he is in a committed relationship or will just straight up ignore them.

One time someone was getting really annoying with their flirting while you and Stanley were on a date and you went to use the bathroom. 

As soon as you arrived, he wasted no time to pull you into a deep kiss in front of the other person, making them go away from embarrassment. 

Speaking of kissing, Stanley loves kissing you!

You both got in your seats and waited for the advertisements to end. You would both whisper to each other during the movie, commenting about the scenes quiet enough to not disturb the others. When the movie ended and the lights turned on, Stanley turned towards you. “You have something there” He said, pointing near your lip. “Huh?” you asked, wiping at said place. “Let me.” he said, surprising you as he leaned in and gave you a kiss on the lips while holding your chin, pulling back with a smirk on his face as he got up. “Oi! Stann, what was that for?!” you exclaimed, blood pooling to your cheeks from being flustered. “Nothin’, you were just being cute.” he answered with a smile. He took your hand in his and led you both out of the cinema. As you were walking back to the parking lot, you decided to surprise him yourself. “I love you, Stanley.” You said, looking at him and squeezing your intertwined hands. This was a nice little thing to knock out without a whole lot of thought. Headcanons just don’t take a whole lot brain power like weaving together a lengthy 3 page scenario does lol. As for if I’m sick of Stan, I’m not sick of him, I’m just not in the throughs of my dr stone fascination. I’m on to persona.

Stan vibes like he was definitely a jock in highshcool.

And he definitely didn’t struggle with getting dates.

That might be helped by the fact that I imagine he’s pretty straightforward, even as a teen. So if he likes you, he’ll usually make it clear.

That being said, he doesn’t vibe like he was much of a partier in highschool.

The type of cool jock that a lot of kids probably wanted at their party, but who didn’t have much interest in going.

Stan also probably kept up some very good grades, he really just vibes as a well rounded student. Tho I don’t think Xeno would let him fail high school.

That being said, him and Xeno are definitely high school friends. So even if Stan was the type to not confront a crush, he’d probably tell Xeno. And Xeno sure as fuck would.

Xeno might be a lil salty that you distract his perverbial igor, but he’d also probably help to try and get you together. Or at least figure out if you like stan back.

Childhood Friendship:

Stanley Snyder has been friends with you since you were kids. It’s not really a choice, considering you two were practically neighbors, and your parents being friends with one another. 

Even so, Stanley felt like you two just clicked upon the first meeting. 

Stanley never thought you two would share many similar interests and hobbies.

Often, Stanley would spend countless weekends with you, playing sports, watching movies, discovering hidden gems in the city, and pranking others. 

Stanley’s family were incredibly supportive and happy that their son were getting along with you so well. So they often invited you to go over whenever your parents had work overseas.

They encouraged open-mindedness and respect between the two of you as you two sometimes fought and got mad at each other for little things. 

Stanley learned to apologize and forgive, how to be stern and patient, and be the kind and responsible “other brother” in your friendship

Back then, he was just your childhood friend.

Realization of Feelings:

Stanley began to realize his feelings for you when he was in high school. 

He found himself blushing around you and getting nervous when you smiled at him. 

He cared for the little things, and didn’t want to disappoint you when he got in trouble with his guy group.

Stanley became increasingly protective of you, always looking out for your well-being. 

He'd insist on walking you home after school and making sure you were safe.

Sometimes, he would even go out of his way to take care of you when you were sick.

Stanley developed a habit of calling you at night. Asking about your day, and tell you about his. 

He loved these late-night conversations, just you and him, sometimes sharing stories, gossip, dreams, fears, and secrets. 

Stanley found comfort in these talks, and it was during one of these moments that he admitted to himself that he had a crush on you, and can’t let you go.

Courting & Confession:

Stan isn't afraid to show his affection, like offering to carry your backpack or complimenting you about your looks, knowledge or personality.

He often buys you food and eventually became your personal professional driver.

Stanley reached out to his closest friend, Xeno, about his feelings, seeking advice on how to confess. 

Xeno encouraged him to be honest with you but also cautioned him to respect your boundaries in the case that feelings aren’t reciprocated. 

(Xeno was sure that it would be, that sneaky little Einstein)

One day, Stanley finally mustered the courage to tell you about his feelings. 

Stanley and you sat together under the beautiful night stars during one of your many weekend hangouts, and it was then he blurted out his confession. 

“Hey Y/N, you know, we've been friends for so long…practically since babies. You know you were really ugly back then.”

“Oh shut it, like you weren’t a brat.” A shared nudge and chuckle.

“Hey, there's something I need to tell you." 

"Yea? What is it, Stan?" 

"Well, it's just... ah screw it, I really like you. Not just as a friend. I mean, I like you a lot. More than I've ever liked anyone.” 

From your looks to your personality to funny moments and lovable times, his rant went on for a bit like a kid describing his favourite cartoon.

"Damn, I know it's probably weird to hear, and I understand if you don't feel the same way. But can you give me an answer soon?” 

Stanley closed his eyes and waited patiently for your answer. At this time, he really wanted to smoke.

"Stanley Synder, you dummy. You know, I've been feeling the same way.” Stanley felt a hand on his shoulder, waking him up. 

“I was just too scared to say anything."

"Really?"

"Yeah, really. I've liked you for a long time too, Stan. No matter how much of an annoying show-off and-." He pulled you into a little hug which cut you off, but you didn’t mind. 

The hug now felt a little differently than before.

You two stayed like that for a bit, relishing in the peace and quiet, in relief.

"So, what do we do now?"

The Chase - Yandere! Stanley Snyder

Summary :

Waking up in the middle of the woods wasn’t the vacation you thought it would be. Your friend invited you to stay with her at another country for a month only to realize that the plane had bought you in a different destination. In fact, you were chosen and had to play a game of chase for you to make it out alive.

 ‘’Damn that hurts…’’ You groaned in pain as you woke up in a cold hard ground. You’re literally wearing nothing but your clothes and even your phone and watch is all gone. The forest is filled with gigantic trees and the terrain was quite rocky and mountainous. Not exactly part of your plan.

You couldn’t really ask anyone about where exactly you are in the world right now. As far as your eyes can see, the place you’re in is an island, which make escaping more daring as there’s a chance of you dying out in the open seas. There are no birds or any wild animals in the area, and the plants does seem a lot different.

Taking a vine from the ground, you saw that there are no roots and you could barely break it with your hands. Just as you expected, your friend in nowhere to be found and if you did find them, you will certainly give them the piece of your mind. ‘This definitely feel like a survival game.’ You thought to yourself, concluding that there is no other reason why they would bring you all the way here, spend the time and money, gave the effort for you to be here.

A screeching sound caught your attention and looking up, you saw that there’s a small speaker tied to the tree. There was no buildings nearby that could be the source of it, probably a good distance from the place but the faint rustling of the leaves and frantic footsteps all over the place made you realize that you’re not alone.

‘’Welcome players. We do apologize for the discomfort we had caused in the process of bringing you here in the venue.’’ The man side as he began to introduce himself as the game master, ‘’I’m Ishigami Senku, a scientist. There are a few rules that I expect all of you to follow, breaching any of them would immediately lead to elimination.’’

‘Elimination?’ You looked around and noticed the box near the place that you woke up. It wasn’t there before nor did you hear anyone came by near the area. But the timing seems off to you. Finding this while someone is listing the rules of the game is a little suspicious. So you didn’t opened or get close to it.

‘’Rule #1, the game will last for 72 hours. Surrendering or leaving the place is prohibited. Rule #2, find your pair in the forest. All the players had been paired with a hunter and failure of finding them could result to your death. Rule #3, only the hunters are allowed to hunt the prey and the prey can hunt the hunters who are not their own partner. There are seven hunters and prey in total, scattered all over the forest. Time begins now.’’

And it was back to silence again. Well, he didn’t said anything about finding anything near the vicinity you’re in and by the looks of it, the box is a little smaller. You opened it up to find a piece of silk ribbon inside. There was no note left on it, or any indication that it has to be specifically worn. Putting in on the pocket of your jacket, you hear a scream from the other side of the forest and then it was quickly replaced by silence.

That escalated quickly. Once there was seven, and now there are six.

‘’In addition to the pre-existing rules, there is one more. Rule #4, once a prey kills another fellow prey, their partner hunters are prohibited to continue their activities.’’

➳ He’s the type of guy that doesn’t take no for an answer, so you will be his no matter what.

➳ His obsession would start as a simple attraction towards you. He just finds you amusing to a degree and he likes interacting with you.

➳ As he found himself falling more and more in love with you, his desires to keep you all to himself grow alongside his feelings.

➳ Which is never a good thing to happen, by the way.

➳ You should definitely expect him to remind you of who you belong to constantly, even to the point of suffocating you.

➳ I’d say he’s one of the most extremely dangerous yandere in the Dr. Stone universe. Not only because he won’t hesitate to kill anyone that he detests, but also because there’s a chance for you to be one of them too.

➳ Stanley has lived his life as a military officer and I’m betting he has never experienced love before, therefore making his understanding of it to be extremely twisted.

➳ He expects you to obey him, and if you don’t, well, let’s not talk about the consequences.

➳ As I said before, I somehow imagine Stanley to consider the choice to kill you, even though it’s a rare occasion for yanderes to kill their darlings and the most they would do is to break them to the point of no return.

➳ Although, for him to actually consider this decision, you must have pushed him a tiny bit too far.

➳ He thought that maybe as a corpse, you’d be more obedient to him and won’t question his love.

➳ But enough talking about him killing his darling, let’s talk about how he’d act around you.

➳ He’s not a fan of PDA but he still occasionally does so just to show the others that you belong to him. It wasn’t even done out of true affection for you. He just did that to assert dominance.

➳ When you two are alone, he would have you sit down beside him and let him rest his head on your lap after completing whatever task Xeno had given him.

➳ He’s a manipulative and calculating type of yandere and would fabricate a lot of lies in order to make you stay with him.

➳ He’s not a delusional yandere, but his limited understanding and knowledge of love made him not quite realize what he’s doing is wrong.

➳ Actually, even if he knew, he won’t actually stop his behaviour.

➳ His way of showing his affection is by playing with your hair. Whenever he rests his head on your lap, he would twirl some of your strands of hair and kiss it.

➳ He’s a very blunt and straightforward guy so he constantly would tell you how beautiful you are. He won’t actually shower you with lots of praises every single minute or anything, so he makes sure his compliments sounded as genuine as possible.

➳ He won’t hesitate to kill or at the very least, break a bone or two, of anyone who does as much as stare at you.

➳ He’d be so disgusted by them. You’re not at fault for being so beautiful. No, of course you’re not at fault. It’s those filthy pigs’ faults for not understanding their damn place and even thinks of getting their hands on you.

➳ Stanley won’t hesitate to kill anyone or everyone but he has made Xeno an exception. Not because he felt indebted to him for whatever reason that makes him work for the scientist nor is it because he considers Xeno to be his friend. Rather, it’s because it would be extremely inconvenient to live in the Stone World without the aid of a genius such as himself. Even with all that has been said and done, he still loves you albeit a little too twisted. He doesn’t wish for you to live in the wilderness anytime soon.

➳ He can show his undying affection for you, but only under one condition and that being you not opposing him in any way possible. All you need to do is just humor him and you will be safe from the clutches of Death.

He knew of your name he’s just never seen you before 

The first time he saw you was when one of his subordinates moved up in their rankings

It was a ceremony, many honored soldiers attended 

Even though the night was supposed to be about the newly ranked soldier, everyone surrounded you. Asking you for advice, completing your attire and awards, and asking you to tell your war stories

Watching the men of the highest and lowest ranks hover and practically worship you is what got his attention 

He approaches the conversation and hovers for a minute before he speaks

“Who’re you?” You ask

“Commander Stanley Snyder, it’s an honor to meet you, lieutenant commander.” He salutes.

“Never heard of you.” This surprises him and all the men around you. Everyone knows the marksmen!

Still, Stanley was intrigued by your boldness

He continued to make conversation with you even making you focus your attention on him

You both have forgotten about the now angry men surrounding the both of you and kept talking to each other 

By the end of the night he escorted you to your ride 

“What did you say your name was again?”

“Stanley Snyder.”

“I’ll keep my eye out for you Snyder.”

With that you two became inseparable 

You’d watch as Stanley would train his men and he’d be there handing you a water anytime you were training 

He introduced you to Xeno and got kinda jealous because you and Xeno clicked more than he thought you both would

"He takes the shot! What a strike! The ball sails past the outstretched arms of the goalkeeper and nestles into the back of the net. Stanley Snyder has done it!" The loud cheers of the crowd echoed through the male’s ears as the game came to an end, with his teammates surrounding him, jumping for joy for his winning goal. He smiles at himself, looking through the stands, seeing his best friend, Xeno Wingfield near the front with a proud look on his face. It took the male lots of convincing to make his best friend watch his game. 

But Xeno wasn’t the one that caught Stanley’s attention, it was the figure next to him, who was wearing his team colours. ‘Y/N L/N’ he thought. They were quite popular in school, being in the student council. Although the two have only interacted a few times whenever they’d come to talk to Xeno about the Science club affairs, or to check up on the football club, Stanley still took interest towards them. 

The male finished with the formalities in the field, rushed towards the lockers, took a shower, and left, rejecting the team’s celebration party invite, saying he had something else planned. He quickly took off towards the stands, looking for his best friend, in hopes that you haven’t left your spot next to the scientist. And to his joy, you were still there, chatting with Xeno. 

“Yow, Xee.” Stanley approached, prompting you and Xeno to look over at his direction, your eyes met with his as you gave him a smile. “Hey, Stanley! Congratulations on the win! You did great out there, it was amazing to watch!” You exclaimed, Xeno noticing a tint of red painted the male’s ears. Of course he knew about his best friend's attraction towards you, he was subtle, but nothing gets past his observing eyes. 

“Oh, it was a team effort, but thank you for your support, Y/N.” Stanley answered, a cool aura surrounding him. His pride and ego swelled from your compliment. “Yes, indeed, your skills are elegantly unmatched, Stan. Give yourself some credit” Xeno added. To which Stanley chuckled at. 

“Wanna join us, Y/N? We’re gonna celebrate the win with pizza at the diner nearby. My treat.” Stanley invited, with that cool nonchalant aura still surrounding him. ‘Oh this guy is faking so bad’ Xeno thought, knowing that his friend is probably dying inside in fear. They’ve been together for years, he can basically read Stanley’s body language, and it’s practically screaming ‘please say yes, please say yes, please say yes…’

“Oh, I wouldn’t want to intrude…” you answer, unsure if it was okay, you didn’t really know them well enough, so you found it weird that Stanley would extend the invitation towards you. “Nonsense, miss Y/N. We would be delighted for you to accompany us.” This time, it was Xeno who insisted, Stanley thanking him in his mind. “Oh, well, if that’s the case, sure! I’d love to join you both!” You answered, not noticing the breath that the blonde let out. 

The walk towards the diner was filled with you and Stanley talking about the game. He didn’t know you were a fan of the sport, so you corrected him, saying you only watch matches that your school plays in, revealing to the male that you’re a fan of his. Xeno noticed you both got flustered after that revelation. The conversation continued with Stanley talking with you about random things like game strategies, or interests, with Xeno sometimes adding his own input. 

When you reached the diner, he asked you both to choose your orders. You decided to get 1 whole pizza and a few other sides, as well as milkshakes. When your food arrived, it was Xeno’s turn to talk both your ears out about his scientific endeavours. 

“Hey, you have a little something on your face” Stanley pointed out, gesturing towards your face. You attempted to wipe it off, but missed the mark. The blonde leaned over and wiped the sauce off of the side of your lips with his finger, lingering for a second, then sat back down and wiped the sauce onto a napkin. Your flustered appearance at his sly act caused the male to develop a hint of pink on his cheeks. 

‘They’re both down bad for each other…’ Xeno thought, deadpan at the scene he just witnessed. “Say, Y/N, would you be free tomorrow? I could use another pair of hands for an experiment I'm working on.” Xeno asked, which piqued Stanley’s interest. If he remembered correctly, said experiment has something to do with some physics that comes with marksmanship, a hobby which he’d picked up last year. ‘Is Xeno… wingmanning right now?! He’s totally giving me a way to show off!’ Stanley thought. “Oh! I’d love to! I always got intrigued with your science things whenever I'd visit the lab. I’d love to be a part of it!” You exclaimed,  excitement brewing. 

After the celebration, Both boys walked you home, with you now talking about your interests, which Stanley gladly listened to. As you got to your door, you turned towards them. “Well, here’s my house. Thank you both for walking me home, Get home safe, okay?” You bid farewell, waving to the boys before coming inside your house and closing the door, but not without stealing a glance and a smile towards the blonde haired male who waved you goodbye. 

As the two males walked home, Xeno spoke up, “Well, don’t let me down tomorrow during the experiment, you’ll have another set of eyes to impress after all” The grey haired scientist smirked. “I wouldn’t dream of it. I’ll pass your little experiment and show off to them easily.” He answered, a smirk of his own plastered on his face. 

He can’t wait for tomorrow to come, now that he’s practically secured another hang out session with you. Whatever happens, he can’t deny that this whole interaction got his feelings for you much deeper. And he hopes that after tomorrow, something between you both blossoms.

STAN

When it comes to seducing someone, or asking someone out, Stan’s pretty organized about it.

He’s a military man, and he will treat it like a military operation lol

He’ll learn all he can about your interests, your perfect date, anything like that.

Of course, this isn’t some creepy shit, if he feels you two won’t mesh, he won’t try to date you. But if he takes you out, he wants it to be as nice as possible. So, he’s thorough.

Plus, looking into potential partners like this saves him some time and money, since he can usually gauge whether or not you two would mesh or have fun.

XENO

Xeno simply isn’t someone who dates much. He’s a bit of a workaholic I’d imagine.

That’s not to say he doesn’t have the desire to date, he simply lacks the silver tongued skill Stan has.

So, if Xeno asks you out or tries to seduce you, it will be blunt.

Of course, with how analytical he is, like Stan, it will be well researched. If he asks you out, it’ll be blunt, but he’ll mean that shit.

Just...don’t expect a lot of smooth talk and charm about it. He’s not Stan, he will probably talk a lot about unethical sciences over dinner.

STANO

As a pair, you are doomed.

They come together to be well-informed on your interests and tastes, and Stan is there to balance out Xeno’s caveman-esque techniques.

You’ve got Stan’s charm and humor, paired with Xeno’s intellegence and intrigue.

Xeno will probably keep you on your toes with his attitude, his conversation topics, and his slightly scary morals. Stan is there to charm and soften his best friend and provide more accessible humor.

Summary: In which Stanley and Xeno meets a Walking Encyclopedia that can stand side-by-side with them. Or a duo becomes a trio, and the puzzle pieces fit together.

Pairing: Stanley Snyder x Female! Reader!

Note: Takes place in Xeno and Stanley's childhood, way before the petrification happened. Hope you enjoy!

Warnings: Spoilers for the characters, but no plot. For anime watchers, don't search up Xeno or Stanley if you don't want to be spoiled!

Stanley has always been smart. 

Top of the class in both academics and physical capability, he was the perfect kid that everyone praised. 

Rather than feeling burdened by his excellence, he was proud of his work and proud of himself for his own accomplishments. 

So when the new semester of school came, Stanley continued to work hard as he’d always been. 

“I’m handing back the test.”

Everyone always watches the teacher to see who he’s going to return the first test to. After all, the first one to get it back is always the highest scorer. 

So of course, Stanley anticipates getting his test back first. 

“Xeno.” 

Stanley immediately turned around in shock, it was someone he never saw in his class before. For the first time, his name wasn’t called first, and someone else got a higher score than him.

“Stanley.” 

When Stanley got his test back, he swore to work harder to be the best once more. 

“Xeno.”

“Xeno.”

“Xeno.”

Is that guy Einstein? What the hell?! 

No matter what Stanley did, Xeno was always one step ahead. 

Sure he was superior in gym class (Xeno couldn’t even compare) but was Xeno’s head made of books? How is he able to get a perfect score on every test? 

He had to be cheating. There’s no way! 

“Xeno and Stanley.” 

But Stanley didn’t feel the same satisfaction as before. 

Damn! 

“Looks like both of us got a perfect score, Stanley. How elegant.” Also, why does he speak like he’s an old man? 

Stanley approached Xeno, curiosity burning in his eyes. 

"Hey, Xeno," he started, standing before him, "How do you do it? How do you know so much about everything?"

Xeno blinked then smiled, recognizing Stanley's genuine curiosity. 

"I've always had an insatiable thirst for knowledge," he confessed, and Stanley’s already wondering what ‘insatiable’ means. 

"But for me, it's about understanding the world around us. There’s so many unsolved mysteries and things that we as humans don’t understand. I just want to explore it all…isn’t it exciting? To find the answers to the questions that even scientists can’t solve?"

That when Stanley realized that Xeno wasn’t someone like him, no, he was much better than Stanley. Xeno was looking far far into the future, somewhere that Stanley cannot even imagine. 

It’s childish and stupid now that Stanley thought of it, while he was competing with Xeno, Xeno had much bigger plans. 

Ha. Stanley couldn’t help but admit it, Xeno is smart, much smarter than he will ever be.

Even so, Stanley couldn’t help but stick to him because he was curious to see where Xeno is going to be in the future, and he wanted to be beside him to see it.

“Stanley, look!” 

“Run you idiot!” Stanley had to pull Xeno out from the explosives’ range not once, but three times.

“How elegant, if only we could use the lab…” 

“Come on, let’s break in.” Stanley suggests, and although they were caught in the end, it was most definitely worth it seeing the science teacher get dosed with eggs and vinegar. 

Days become weeks and weeks become years. Now both were in their high school years where they truly became inseparable.

While Xeno remained at the top of every class, Stanley still had him beat in any physical activity. They never felt jealous of the other (okay, sometimes), but they worked as a duo for everything, from experiments to learning about the unknown, and to pranking others for revenge. It was a great time. 

One day, a foreign student joined the class in the middle of a semester.

“Hello, my name is (Y/N), and I hope to get along with everyone.” 

(Y/N) definitely stood out with her foreign looks and her Japanese background. Despite her differences, she easily fit in with everyone, in fact, she was captivating the entire school with her intelligence and charm. 

Not only was she hard working, kind, and social, she had no issues in trying out new things, or even introducing her culture to them. 

As well, for the first time, another person stood side by side with Xeno in the STEM competition. 

“How elegant. It’s a pleasure to another smart and curious individual, (Y/N).” She smiled and shook the extended hand. 

“Pleasure’s all mine Dr. Xeno.” She jokes lightly, gaining an amused laugh from Xeno, “It’s nice to finally meet the famous Einstein-reincarnate. 

Seeing both of them on stage, Stanley was suddenly reminded that he was not part of that picture. 

Damn.

To think he would feel like this during such a happy occasion for Xeno…

“This is Stanley, my best friend who has helped me with my experiments, and someone I could not imagine without.” When Xeno introduced him to (Y/N) with such respect, Stanley’s self-depreciation seemed to melt away. 

Stanley should feel ashamed of himself really. 

That’s right, Xeno never thought of him as someone under him, but as his equal.

“Nice to meet you Stanley.” (Y/N) reached out her hand with a polite smile, and when he shook her hand, she continued, “It’s a pleasure to meet the Football King at school.” 

“Wha-” Stanley initially cringed, but felt embarrassed when Xeno chuckled and looked at him with a look of amusement. 

“Well, Dr. (Y/N) isn’t incorrect at all. Isn’t that right, Football King?” Stanley twitched a brow at the name. While they aren’t wrong, it sounded way too corny.  

“Ha…to think I’m getting bullied by the Einstein-reincarnate and the Walking Encyclopedia. This world is coming to an end.” 

When both of them laughed at his jab, Stanley was both surprised and relieved. 

Sure, his Football King title was going to be a thing, but so is Einstein-reincarnate and Walking Encyclopedia. 

(For a long long time)

After their conversation since the STEM competition, (Y/N) easily joined their group as the “third wheeler” as she would say often. 

Her addition to the team was so natural that it felt like she was there the entire time. She was like another Xeno, but at least her explanations sounded like English most of the time.

Of course, there were times where she would scream in Japanese out of anger, but that’s all Xeno’s fault. 

Stanley’s just making sure everyone is alive. 

It was really fun with another person in the group. 

Xeno seemed more energetic with another intellectual mind by his side, and Stanley felt more included in the conversation as she patiently explained everything in simpler terms. 

Through the ups and downs, of pranks and achievements, they stayed together as a group.

Just like that, a duo became a trio.

Before they knew it, they became roommates that lived under one roof.

“Hey Stan the man, I need you for a second.” 

“(Y/N), it’s literally 12am, what the hell?” Stanley was rudely pulled out of bed one night after his final championship football games. It was a long and competitive game but he and his team managed to win. 

As the quarterback on the team, he naturally played a big part in the victory, and he is currently not alive enough to deal with his best friends’ shenanigans. 

“C’mon, trust me, you don’t want to miss this.” (Y/N) dragged him down the stairs, though almost falling due to his weight. 

“I sure can.” Stanley yawned, “This better be quick.” 

“Yea yea, I got it, Football King.” 

When bright lights blinded him in the kitchen, Stanley got hit with a bunch of balloons and cheers. 

“Look who’s here, Mister Football King!” 

“Who says you can sleep by yourself you asshole!” 

“What the f-” A large glass of beer was shoved into his face. 

“If it weren’t for our Football King here, we wouldn’t have clutched at the end, cheers to our King!” 

It took a moment for Stanley to process everything, but when he finally came to be, his world erupted with bright colourful lights, loud cheers, head bumps, high fives, and alcohol splattering all over him. 

“Hey, if it wasn’t for the Walking Encyclopedia to suggest this, we wouldn’t be able to break in so easily with Einstein’s traps everywhere!” 

(Y/N) simply grinned smugly, whereas Xeno rolled his eyes (but Xeno was smiling regardless). 

“Hey, whoever drinks the most shots gets $500!” (Y/N) started and it riled up all the guys, including Stanley. 

The next thing they knew everyone was absolutely wasted including Xeno, who somehow got drunk from drinking very little. 

“I didn’t know you drink this much. Damn.” Stanley winced from his pounding headache as he lay on the countertop. Across from him was (Y/N) who was doing the same. 

Her cheeks were flushed, and her hair was all over the place, making her seem like a crazy cat lady. 

“Call it a tie? Half half?” While Stanley wanted to win due to his competitive nature, he knew that he would die if he drank any more. 

“Fine.” She laughed as her eyes became dazed. 

“Hehe, you’re one of us okay~?” She drowsily said, then put one hand on his head to touch his hair. 

Stanley was surprised at her sudden bold move, as (Y/N) is not one to hug or touch so carelessly. She would always wait for them to initiate the gesture before she would return them. 

But perhaps she is as drunk as him, and both didn’t care about anything in the world, so he let her play with his hair.

“Pretty…” She whispered, and Stanley felt embarrassment rush to his cheeks, especially if she complimented him looking like that. 

“You know…you’re one of us right?” She pushes his forehead slightly, making him roll back a bit. 

“Just because Xeno is Einstein, and just because I’m good at some things~ You are crazy smart too, and you can play football~ To me, you’re the best!”

She gave him a thumbs up before she giggles stupidly. 

“So don’t look at us like some lost puppy m’kay? Xeno loves you! And I like you very very much.”

Stanley’s mind is running at a million miles per hour, was this a confession? Who knew (Y/N) was so open and careless when she was drunk!?

Then she put a finger to his lips and winked. 

“It’s a secret okay?”

Before she could say anything, she fell asleep, leaving Stanley alone to process what the heck just happened. 

But, he doesn’t dislike this feeling, after all, he was familiar with it.

Since the moment their duo became a trio, he had always respected and admired her for her patience. She always made sure he was included in their talks, and made sure to make Xeno try out some of the things that Stanley liked to do. 

She was like a connecting puzzle piece, something that bridged the gap that Xeno and Stanley had.

“Idiot.” He poked her forehead with a drunk smile, and hoped that when they wake up tomorrow, they would remember. 

The next morning, when it smelled like vomit and smelly socks, he woke up facing (Y/N) who was sleeping peacefully beside him. 

Remembering last night, his face flushed in embarrassment, and he quickly hid his face in case his team mates saw him. 

“Oh Stan, I can see that you’re awake.” Stanley slowly turned to face the smirking Xeno freaking Houston Wingfield who sat on the stool like he knew everything. 

“So?” Xeno took a sip from his mug with a smug expression. At this point, Stanley knew there was no point in hiding. 

“Shut up. Pass me water.” Stanley stood up, noticing that some of his teammates left, but some were still knocked out. 

Xeno obeyed, his expression unchanging, as if waiting for him to say something. 

“Fine. You win.” Stanley gives Xeno $250 grumpily, and the other takes it without any hesitation. 

“I told you, she would confess first. Scientifically speaking, (Y/N) is more bold and-” 

“Whatever.” 

Xeno still had a look on his face, as if he’s saying “really?”.

“So Stanley, my dear friend, when is it going to be official? I cannot bear to see this crush of yours last for eons.” 

“Shut up, I’ll confess soon.” Stanley looks away with his arms soon. His eyes soon naturally went to the sleeping girl on the floor. 

Stanley let out a laugh and shook his head before walking over to her. He knelt down and covered her with one of his jackets and sighed. 

“What am I going to do with you? Let’s hope you remember what you said, Walking Encyclopedia.” 

When (Y/N) woke up, let’s just say that she had a pleasant surprise, but was it really? 

When she remembers everything, and needless to say, maybe she had run out of patience too. 

And Xeno?

(CHAPTER 1) Z=149: Light Lure in Darkness

The Kingdom of Science, their boats skimming across the tranquil waters of the American forest, had finally stumbled upon the elusive "life-giving corn." Chrome, his eyes wide with excitement, was the first to spot it. 

"HECK YEAH! WE FOUND IT!" he exclaimed, his voice echoing through the air.

Senku, ever the pragmatic one, couldn't help but grin. "Yeah, the cheat-code corn that the U.S. was so proud of," he said, a touch of nostalgia in his voice.

Gen, still relatively new to the group, tilted his head in confusion. "Cheat-code corn...?" he asked.

"The great yellow dent!" Senku replied. "It tastes like crap, but you can squeeze out a crazy amount of alcohol."

The Kingdom of Science desperately needed this corn. It was a crucial ingredient for the revival fluid they were developing, a fluid that could potentially bring the entire world back to life. Taiju, his determination unwavering, shouted, 

"YEAH! AND THEN WE'LL BE ON OUR WAY TO REVIVING THE WHOLE WORLD! JUST HANG IN THERE AMERICAN STATUES! IT WON'T BE LONG NOW!"

The team was more motivated than ever. They were on the cusp of a breakthrough that could rewrite the course of history.

"But there's no telling how much of this corn is left," Senku cautioned.

Taiju, ever the optimist, dismissed his concerns. "Sure, but even with just a little bit, we can grow a whole bunch more!"

Ryusui, the captain of their vessel, nodded. "Then it's still a race against time."

As the boat continued its journey, Kohaku, ever vigilant, spotted something floating downstream. With her chopsticks, she scooped it out of the water. 

"Corn kernels!" she exclaimed.

"Hah! They keep floating downstream," Kohaku said, holding up the kernels.

"It's seeming more and more likely that we'll find some growing upriver," Ukyo replied, his voice filled with excitement.

"Probably a real baaaad amount too!" Chrome added, his enthusiasm matching Ukyo's.

Suddenly, the radio crackled to life. "Greetings! Search team here. We discovered corn in the river..." The research team, of which Gen was a member, had found a cornfield nearby.

"Yayy!" the team cheered.

"Let us know if you find any downriver from where you are," Gen said into the radio.

"It's not the source, though," Senku added. "We still need more data."

As the team celebrated their discovery, two figures lurked in the shadows of the nearby forest. They had intercepted the transmission, their eyes glinting with a sinister intent.

"Grr... grr..." A pack of wolves howled in the distance. The two figures leaped from a tree, their movements swift and precise. With a flick of their wrists, the wolves were silenced.

Meanwhile, back with the research team, Senku was busy with a peculiar experiment. He was covering a light source with a white cloth.

"Wouldn't shining a bright light at night just attract bugs?" Gen asked, curious.

"That's a goal," Senku replied. "By checking out which bugs this light stimulus attracts, we can learn more about the area. And if my guess is right..."

As Senku continued his explanation, a flutter of wings caught their attention. A European corn borer moth, a moth that primarily feeds on corn, had been lured by the light. 

"There's a ton of corn nearby," Senku confirmed.

"A butterfly? How pretty," Kohaku remarked.

"It's actually a moth," Gen corrected her.

"It's mostly a semantic distinction to start with," Ukyo added. "This light lure is eerily beautiful."

After setting up camp, the team discussed their findings. Senku concluded that there must be a cornfield nearby.

Just as they were settling in, Tsukasa sensed an unsettling presence. Matsukaze agreed, while Kohaku wondered if it was a beast. Ginro, however, remained calm, confident in their group's strength. Kinro, ever the cautious one, noted his sheepish nature.

Suddenly, a chilling realization dawned on them. They were being watched. 

Tuskasa then mumbled."I sense...Bloodlust" 

Tsukasa shouted, his voice filled with urgency. "TO THE BOAT! NOW! AND TAKE COVER!"

As they scrambled to board the boat, the sound of gunfire erupted from the forest. Bullets whizzed past them, narrowly missing their targets.

"A machine gun!" Ukyo exclaimed.

"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" Ginro shouted.

"HMPH! Never underestimate a captain at his helm!" Ryusui replied, a confident smirk playing on his lips.
