What are your opinions/thoughts on the Body Improvement Club from mp100?

I personally adore them and love how unabashedly supportive of Shigeo they are. And they legitimately have helped me with personal motivation to exercise and just. Do stuff in general. My older brother and I have been occasionally exercising together since watching mp100 and "fight on!" has become our mantra when we start getting tired or don't want to do something.

I wasn't expecting them to be recurring characters but I'm so glad they are. I'm holding them so gently (despite them all being much larger than me)

i think they're wonderful!! my first watch through, i thought for sure when mob said he wanted to join the club they'd be like ://// abt it and both mob and i would have to endure suffering but no they r actually so supportive and genuine in said support

i think it's very wholesome that mob working so hard within the club "gives the rest of them courage" as musashi had put it during that wd arc fight. even if he's very tiny and unfit compared to them, and even if he does One Quarter of a pull-up, they r cheering him on. it's actually so nice that they support him sm. i wonder how mob would've reacted, if he'd been awake when musashi said that.

actually, staying on that scene, i don't see it talked about literally anywhere, but can we fuckign . talkabt that. can we speak about this. this guy was fully willing to die for mob. he was willing to lie down his life for a kid who joined their club maybe a couple of months ago. he was willing to get fucking crushed to death about it

i also rly appreciated when musashi tried to keep mob out of the black vinegar stuff after teru's arc. pretty much every scene with the body improvement club made me like them more and more—there was always some sort of new kindness to appreciate about them

Teru doesn't deny this world is better than the last one, he doesn't look angry that everything is great here, nor does he try to deny it by going "is all fake!" or "is not my world!" he looks pensive, distracted.

He isn't conflicted/disgusted/betrayed, as he was at the start of the arc.

He looks mostly sad now.

Cause the world still isn't all that real to Teru. He is still processing it.

But he does enjoy what it has to offer. He is doing this cool mix of being uneased by how different from his reality it is, and treating it as his playground completely detached from his old timeline.

He also had time to think, he understands Akane can't protest or fight the keepers if they want the world to change, that he has no control over what changes.

Akane has no control over anything. Teru has no control.

Look at this mental image.

They are just little game pieces at the mercy of these giant and monstrous keepers. His friends (Akane and Nene) are put as fellow helpless humans to be messed with by said monsters.

And Akane can't even defend this cynical view.

As a keeper of the present, he has more faith in the keepers goals of protecting humans than Teru, but his faith in them is still very low, he isn't even looking at Teru in the eye when he tries to say they are not that bad.

Cause Akane's own view of Kako and Mirai's power to rewrite reality is a scary mess of uncertainty.

There is no way the guy that keeps saying "supernaturals don't understand humans" with the keeper as his main reference, and "They are the biggest threat for the school" is on board with Kako and Mirai's rewriting system.

But he has no choice.

It's either getting a key and having some idea what is happening or being a completely helpless and oblivious stand-by.

This arc seems to be shaping itself to be all about control.

The big difference between their fears to me is the consequence of failure. They only have three days before powers outside their control overwrite Teru's memories and trick him into believing this timeline is real and there was never an old timeline to miss.

So Teru would lose something 'real', a world he loves, every time the clock keepers moved the pieces to a new reality, and while Akane memory mechanics are still vague, I am still assuming he never loses his memories, otherwise he wouldn't be able to do his job as the keeper of the present well and check if the new worlds are stable, what changed compared to the old one, and so on.

Letting things stay this way means Teru would be forced to lose a world he would eventually believe is real constantly, unsure if the next world will be worse for him, while Akane would be forced to not have a stable home, stable friend group, stable anything.

- Kou loves when you kiss him after a battle, it makes him happy to know you’re still alive even if you’re both sweaty

- You guys got caught by Teru who just stared at you shocked before walking away leaving both of you flustered with Kou running behind him to explain while you check up on the food

- Mitsuba loves making out with you but if you two get caught he’ll become flustered and say you started it

- If you drag him off to somewhere private he’ll joke around and say something like “what are you gonna do to a cute ghost like me you pervert!”

- When he wants a kiss he’ll say things like “I wish someone would kiss me..”

- He’ll stare at you as you stare back confused and he’s like

“I’m talking about you dumbass! Come kiss me already!”

- Even tho Mitsuba might call you every name under the sun he loves you sm

- If you’re the sensitive type and get hurt by what he says, he’ll kiss you and tell you he doesn’t mean anything that he says

To say mob was obsessed is an understatement. He simply fawns over your fashion and loves the idea of going against the beauty standard. Although because of his fashionable s/o, he has a hard time blending in. At times he doesnt want the attention but his albsolute cutie of his lover being the center of attention, mob wouldnt mind just this once.

You both go to clothing shops together! Mob believes and trusts your fashion taste to be able to pick a few for him. He wants to hang out and uses the idea of shopping together to get you talking. He enjoys it. Afterall he somewhat helps with some of the clothes for you to pick out, while you help him look his best. He adores your keen eye on managing to find the good clothes that are usually hidden..(gatekeepers😒😒)

When you go on dates he swears he can pay, but his pay isnt enough..afterall regien isnt too reliable. Instead you pay, hope you dont mind. After you both end up going to the park or going to each others houses to hang out later. Mob gaslights(begs) reigen to let him off early for these dates too. He wants to show his respect by simply making time for you like any wonderful lover.

Mob and his family aprove of you so much! You are just the sweetest and the cutest girls to ever approach mob. Ritsu thinks its rad that his older brother managed to get a parnther in general, but thinks even more highly of you when he knows and sees your genuine care for his brother. Plus when you go to mobs house to hangout, ritsu joins whenever he feels lonely. You and mob welcome him with open arms, especially when watching a horror movie.

Mob uses his psychic powers to try to find out what you like in order for him to get the RIGHT gift. Hes just whipped and his friends and brother tease him for it. Simple middle schoolers am i right? He doesnt mind it though.

He introduces you to reigen and reigen approves. Reigen sees you as fit, and an adorable girl who would help mob by the long mile. Mob also introduced you to teru and sho, as well as the other psychics. They all like you and think you are so cool with your makeup and fashion. Heck, teru asked for some advice too.

Mob gets you both matching keychains..guaranteed. Like those cute sanrio ones or the cute little characters. He finds them absolutely adorable. The idea that his s/o has the other half, he ends up staring at his keychain on end till his club snaps him outta it.

In school you might as well be a prodigy! He finds the fact that you do so well extremely admirable. He wants to be tutored by you and you only. Only you can be patient with him. He thinks of you as top of his class, grade, school even!( next to ritsu ) He just gets so happy seeing you not having to worry about grades and what not.

There are times when you are doing makeup, he just watches. No conversation, nothing. Soly because he thinks its skillful, he feels as tho its art and that she shouldn’t interfere. But there are times he asks questions about the products your using. Hes just curious about all that stuff.
