first of all, and for the sake of context that will be relevant later, i need to point out that victor actually resents his julius. i talked about it before, but i also translated some of the short story parts here (i will post the full thing... some day. when i figure out what to do with the 5% i have yet to translate because it doesn't have a good equivalent in english)

julius' first apparition in rays happens in arc 1, so it got actually covered by the localization here; victor, however, doesn't appear until arc 3

as for meaningful interactions, i would highlight the moment that they meet. ludger is fighting alongside victor, and julius realizes who victor is instantly (because of course he would). victor had actually been keeping it low until this point, asking other characters to cover up for him so he could avoid the people from his original world (not specifically his fractured dimension, but elympios as a whole). julius confronts victor about it later, once they are alone. things more or less continue like in this scene (which is from his second skit here)

the earlier scene (or interrogation in victor's words) becomes relevant once the rainbow bridge appears (rays lore), in this scene in which victor throws those words back at julius. there are a few more details on this part (like i mentioned in this post), but sadly i only have very small excerpts translated for it

there's also some interactions between them in bisley's recruitment event (like this scene) and later in the asteria!elle event (like this other scene). oh, and this login bonus too

and... that should cover it? yeah that shows the gist of their relationship in rays at least 👍 (or relationship in general... they never met in x2 and asteria is an au so it doesn't really count)

1 am this [] close to studying Spanish for a while

The Spanish shows I found and am getting dragged into I could absolutely just use subtitles to follow

I could spend time on French instead (ahahahah ToT I need to improve so Bad but also I have no pressing need to so), or Chinese (I DO need to increase reading speed for my own sake) or japanese (to be fair while I wish it was better it is Also the sort of thing where once I'm playing Yakuza Kenzan in japanese it's sink or swim and I'll probably make improvement at that point when its mandatory and not optional to learn)

But like. I can already read non fiction Spanish. I can read it about as fast as English non fiction already. So like... when I see or hear a Spanish show it drives me up the Wall I do not fully understand. When I pick up a fiction novel it's a touch frustrating I feel back like I felt with 6 months of French study trying to read novels ToT

(My Spanish level is. Wonky. It's incredibly poor, to be frank. I have a few thousand vocabulary but NOT all common words which makes that vocabulary less useful in regular conversations, i have basic Poor listening skills and skewed reading skills due to reading a TON of Spanish nonfiction just brute forcing it, I don't remember some BASIC ASS conversational words when speaking so I functionally cannot speak, but if it's reading it comes back to me, despite studying French for 2+ years I find Spanish easier to follow when listening, and I've read 3+ Spanish textbooks despite feeling I absorbed nothing. I also very much am so TEMPTED to study with like Dreaming Spanish and read Poco a Poco and just brute force it for 200 hours and see how much I learn. Because I feel like I'd learn a lot pretty quick, what with all the tangential stuff I know, and with the non fiction base I've got to connect new stuff I learn to as far as memory goes. I just really want to try to learn like Dreaming Spanish style aaaaaaaaaa. But also? Like for Real when I'm reading/watching something the Desire to know what is ACTUALLY said versus translated absolutely eats at me)

Anyway I've been watching Young Royals and my ears focus in hard sometimes when Simons family speaks because my brains like: words you should know! Fuck yeah, what did they say! Aaaa! Me escucha de verdad: Esto es realmente importante para mí. Hay gente que solamente te oye pero no capta lo que decís, vos no, vos me escuchás de verdad. A veces te acordás de cosas que ni yo recuerdo ??? Como el otro día que te mandé lo de PG y vos de "ya me mostraste eso" y yo ????????? porque para mí era la primera vez que lo veía ????????? pero no, fui a ver y sí tenía un Cosmog o sea que sí estuvo antes ??? Bueno, a eso me refiero, en serio prestás atención a lo que te digo aunque sean boludeces.

Fuerte/decidida/algo de eso: No sé cómo explicar esto, pero sos muy uhm- como que tus pensamientos/ideas están en un punto donde no te pueden torcer si a vos te parece que vas en el camino correcto. No importa quien sea. También pensaba en cuando algo te molesta, como los dramas de amor, y les decís a tus amigos que ya no querés hablar del tema. No cualquiera hace eso y es realmente llamativo que te animes a hacerlo.

Se puede hablar de cualquier cosa: Cosas tristes, cosas felices, boludeces, pokemon, fútbol, nuestros trabajos, nuestras molestias, ¡todo se puede hablar! Me encanta eso.

Mensajes múltiples: ESTO ME HACE MUY FELIZ. Te lo he dicho antes, pero lo repito. A veces estoy ocupado, durmiendo o distraído y cuando veo que vos me mandaste miles de mensajes me hace realmente feliz T T

Hogar: No me refiero a nuestra casa sino a que vos, tu persona, se siente como mi hogar. Como cuando estás muy cansado, llegas a casa y te ponés pantuflas y ropa cómoda para quedarte tranqui. Así se siente estar con vos.

Compartir casita: Esto fue un graaaan paso para nosotros, pero me hace feliz haberlo dado. Saber que siempre estás ahí a un paso, saber que puedo dormir y despertarme viendo tu carita y con tu calor tan cerca de mí. Además no nos apuramos en hacerlo y eso me da más tranquilidad también, estoy de verdad contento de hacerlo.

Gyeoul: ¡Y la beba de la casa! Otro gran paso considerando que no pensamos tener hijos humanos, otro paso que me hizo feliz por haberlo dado a tu lado.

Y ahora...

Falta de tiempo/ánimos: Odio no tener tiempo o tener tiempo pero no tener ánimos, quisiera poder estar más con vos, hacer más cosas juntos, miles de citas y post hasta que ya no sepamos qué carajo hacer.

Haber tardado tanto: Sí. A veces pienso que todo salió de la manera que tenía que salir para que estemos en el punto que estamos, pero no te niego que tengo esa espinita que me molesta diciendo que debí haber hecho las cosas diferente en lugar de esperar tanto tiempo para estar con vos ; ;

Se tira abajo con lo sentimental 😠: Más de una vez me dijiste que creías que no eras muy expresiva, que no demostrabas tus sentimientos de la forma más adecuada, pero yo creo que sos muy demostrativa la verdad ; ; nunca me sentí tan querido como me hacés sentir vos.
