just to let people know: people don’t really bat an eye or don’t care but i’ve been drawing these two together since like. 2021. my sketchpad has like at least 100 drawings of them or so. originally it was a crackship but no i be taking this seriously /silly

like. i’ve drawn them as friends on tumblr and twitter all the time because i was scared to admit that i am, indeed, one of the first star-light fans to exist

So I think my mum ships Frodo/Sam.

Have been watching the Lord of the Rings Trilogy for the last three days and finally reached the goodbye scene where Frodo sails off to the Undying Lands with Gandalf and other elves.

My mum was fully expecting Sam to leave middle earth with Frodo. Till the last second she was waiting for Sam to either stop Frodo from leaving or straight up accompany him on the final journey.

"Mum! Sam is married to Rosie Cotton, remember!? " - I literally had to remind her.

"Oh, yeah, Sam shouldn't have done that! Shouldn't have gotten married!" - was all my mum said dejected.

I had to stop my giggles, because she was so blatantly shipping them and I had never seen her do that before.

here were my reverse bang initial thumbnail submissions! the way i draw expressions is uh.....we'll say distinct. so this is how i got around revealing my identity in the pairing stage so as to avoid bias

FLORENT’S RED WINE ; In the aftermath of the victory of the Civil War, the union of Lord Omer of House Florent and Lady Lucrezia Aicha of House Redwyne took place. Over the course of five days, there was celebration and tradition upon the Island of the Arbor, as is seen within the customs of the Old Way. 

In attendance were all the prominent houses of the Reach, including her Hightower cousins, as well as some of the Riverlands and the Old Way Houses from the rest of the continent who travelled to the Reach earlier to ensure they were already there for the Holy Month. This includes Lord Florent’s Corbray cousins, also of the Old Way. By the morning of the sixth day, all were preparing to leave the Arbor - including Lucrezia Redwyne, who was to settle in the land with the Brightest of Waters.

Before departing and passing under the arm of Garland Hightower, her eldest living male relative, the married couple spent time at the graves of the late Lord Arlo Redwyne, Lady Maria Redwyne and Lord Adnan Redwyne. And perhaps those who whispered of such a strange match would have double taked, to see the way in which he muttered words of comfort in her ear as his hand rested upon her back.
