Padawan Reader
(THAT Bad Batch episode)
Cody: we need to live with the consequences of our actions... And we need to face them as well.
Crosshair: so, in the end. You killed them.
Cody: who?
Crosshair: the padawan. One of the traitors.
Cody, really really slowly and quiet: even if they were a traitor. I would rather take my own life before I take theirs. Good night Crosshair.
~at the same time~
Hunter: you never told us.. How you survived order 66?
Y/n: he shoot me on the shoulder. And then, when the others asked... He said I was dead. I think even if he needed to, he couldn't kill me.
Hunter: who?
Y/n, tearing up: my dad...
(Cody as father figure for Y/n. Period)

Moon 66, prev | next
A kittypet named Milk (7y) leaves their twins with the clowder, dead. Petalspeck (3y) takes them in, telling the other cats he'll be better than his father as he looks over the wriggling furballs...
...Not everyone actually knows what he means by that.

Chaos Theory Act 66 Teaser
Don't mess with these two! They will defend their Queen. Not the final edit and only a partial scene.
“When did Usagi tell you?” Rei asks suspiciously given Usagi hasn’t seen Yaten and Taiki as much.
“Seiya told us,” Taiki explains, “after a lot of prodding,” He discloses. “Something was off with him and he’s been rather distracted.”
“We weren’t going to leave him alone until we received an answer,” Yaten shifts his position slightly, he wanted to make it clear it wasn’t easy for Seiya to talk about it based on the look Minako had on her face. The last thing he needs is for her to be angry at him. He turns to Rei, “is she still having nightmares?”
“It’s improved… she’s starting to have nights without them,” Rei responds slowly, not expecting to have such a frank conversation with everyone. They all need to keep an eye on Usagi; they all need to protect her.
He cuts to the chase to discuss something far more important. “She said she was struggling with her powers.” Yaten looks at Rei directly.
Taiki’s posture shifts slightly as the conversation now has his full attention. His amethyst eyes study Rei and Minako carefully for their facial reactions to determine if there is more going on that they are not revealing to them.
Rei shakes her head no. “It was just that one day. She seems fine since then.” She isn’t sure if she wants to discuss the other issue Usagi has had with the other side of her, the part that is still Serenity.
“That’s good. Otherwise it could be dangerous,” Taiki needs them to understand that even though they are Usagi’s best friends and protectors, they need to be careful should something happen.
Rei shots him annoyed look. “Usagi is not dangerous.” She resents the suggestion.
“Don’t misunderstand; her powers as Sailor Cosmos could be. We’ve already seen it happen once.” Taiki challenges back.
“She hasn’t had any other issues since she awakened and fought Chaos,” Rei counters. Her eyes narrow at Taiki. She doesn’t understand where this is coming from. “Whatever happened to Usagi was in another timeline and she defeated Chaos then too.”
“There is always a first time,” Yaten is focused on Rei, missing the conflicting expression on Minako’s face.
Minako lets go of Yaten’s hand, bringing his attention back to her. “Usagi-chan is fine,” Minako responds coolly. “She has us to help.”
Yaten sighs, realizing this ended up being more confrontational than he anticipated. “Only when she tells you what is wrong.” He needs Minako to understand the position they are in. “Look at how long she hid the battle against Galaxia from you. If it wasn’t for the Prophecy she might not have ever told you.”
Rei is on her feet. “She’s not the only one hiding things. I’m sure there is a lot we don’t about you either and Kinmoku.” Two can play this game.
See you next week for the full chapter on the 9th!

Also, now I wanna know about the Killcode in Kill Lunar 🦇
[Answering asks out of order because work today, dw it bothers me more than everyone who’s asked me stuff that hasn’t been answered yet.]
Kill Lunar AU Kill Code is my babygirl, I literally cannot stop thinking about him because of my Gollum brain. Not going into plot, and keeping intentionally vague if I do because I’m not even close to being there yet, but I can tell you what he looks like.
KC is going to be purple and silver. His…His hair is going to be the longest. This fucker is going to have hair that drags on the floor and needs to be tied up so he doesn’t trip on it and fall flat on his face. Like how some people give him a much longer hat than Moon, his hair is going to be floor length and his hair will be grudgelike when we meet him, matted, tangled, over his face, overgrown, messy, and frizzy. Just…so, so messy and unkempt.
His outfit isn’t the same as canon either, since he looks like a homeless man in canon and I can’t have the babygirl be looking homeless. He wears purple jestery pants like his family but with little grey skulls on them at first while he’s in Moon’s head. Eventually, his pants become dotted with crescent moons instead once he’s no longer feral and controlled by his nature and external factors.
His little waist and neck frill things are purple with grey stripes and he has the same kind of freckles that Lunar does (like little tiny glowy stars over his face and arms). Kill Code is also very skinny compared to his family, something due to those external factors messing with Moon’s kill code.
He’s bio-organic, being part of Moon, who is also bio-organic still and all. He still has big claws and sharp teethies, though those are both retractable into normal nails and teeth and are mainly for show. KC is very animalistic at first since he’s growing sentience and mainly growls rather than speaks like he does in canon (a piece of a plot point).
KC is much more calm later on and even able to speak eventually, but he’s very feral at first. He even crawls on all fours at times, not to threaten, but because he forgets how to walk properly while he’s feral. There’s also external factors that mess with Moon’s kill code that contribute to KC’s feral nature as he is the kill code.
Due to him being skinny as all shit, KC drains energy faster than Moon or Lunar does, though this eventually gets fixed once the external factors get dealt with and KC is actually eating and getting taken care of by his family.
[Ranting in the notes yet again.]

a 3 am glass case of emotion 🙃 (I’m sorry in advance)
I wish I could have been celebrating his tactical prowess; he had always been a capable soldier… reliable, steadfast, proficient. Instead, all I could do was mourn the complete loss of his autonomy. His clandestine programming had kicked in like the flip of a switch, the turn of a key… or the mention of a word. In this case, four words. Execute order sixty-six. The same man who had been arrested, and put up against a firing wall as a consequence for disobeying questionable inhumane orders, was now blindly following another. Annihilate the Jedi and anyone that tries to stop you… murder your former Commander. Nevermind the fact that he had just spent countless hours withstanding torturous mind probing to protect her. Nevermind the republic sigil tattoo that he had donned on his face for years; a daily reminder of the service that he was proud to provide. Nevermind the deep loyalty to his captain, his brother whom he had stood shoulder to shoulder with through everything. None of that mattered once his autonomy, his choice, had been taken. The mission objective was simple; eliminate the traitors or die trying, and that’s what happened to ARC Lieutenant Jesse (CT-5597)
