Obsessed with the idea of Extraordinary Things being a back and forth between Jaskier and Radovid, with Jaskier trying to draw him out in the first verse, and Radovid finally answering him in the second.
Cause like, with Radovid, Jaskier meets someone who he can't fully read properly. He knows there's something under the front of a drunken, bumbling prince, but he doesn't know him well enough yet to be certain as to what.
So, he tests the waters a bit. throws out a line to see if Radovid will take it—and he does. A little bit. But it's so interesting to me, because it doesn't just feel like Jaskier is trying to nail down Radovid's truth in this verse; it feels like he's injecting elements of his own mask into it, as well.
"Keep your words on ice, your gaze lights the fire. They say 'keep on playing nice,' but I have no desire. Why waste our words when lips were made for extraordinary things? It's not a want, it's a need, it is paying no heed to what others say to sing."
This is Jaskier's read of Radovid as he knows him so far: a man hiding more complex wants beneath the veneer of a drunken party boy. But it's also Jaskier admitting that he knows this about Radovid because he wears the exact same mask himself.
Much like how Jaskier and Ciri speak through Geralt and Yennefer in order to process their own feelings about them later in the season, Jaskier sings through himself in order to comprehend who Radovid is. Jaskier is using the performative persona he's crafted for himself in an attempt to coax Radovid out of his.
All of it leads into the main intention of this song: "The greatest songs are made up of unspoken words of love. Of them, I've had enough. with you, I am enough." I am tired of having to put up a front. I want to be understood. I think you understand me. Prove me right.
And Radovid sees what Jaskier is doing. He comments on Jaskier's ability to see people for who they are and not who they pretend to be. But there's still more he wants to understand. This still feels like a game, in a way.
It's only after Radovid sees the brutality of Dijkstra and Philippa up close, watches them orchestrate the assassination of the queen and threaten to incriminate him if he doesn't fall in line, that he then grasps the vulnerability in Jaskier's lyrics. Jaskier is also caught between multiple conflicting desires, that of his loyalty to Geralt/Yen/Ciri, and that of his work as the Sandpiper & how said work is backed by his continued commitment to Redanian Intelligence. That internal conflict and the desire to escape it is also highlighted in the song's first verse ("they say keep on playing nice, but i have no desire"). Only after all of this, when true fear begins to take over and the game stops being fun, does Radovid truly begin to truly understand Jaskier.
And so, he seeks him out. And he responds.
“Drop the sweet disguise, your heart’s beating too loud. The fairytales and little lies can’t drown out all the sound.” You were right. I do understand you. I know what you really want, because we're the same. You can’t hide it behind a façade of a song and a story and a persona.
“Take this heart and break this heart for extraordinary things.” I don't know what will become of this, or us. I still don't fully know if we can trust each other. But no one has ever seen me in the way that you have.
It's not a want, it's a need. With you, I am enough.
#angel.txt#the witcher#jaskier#radovid#radskier#meta & theories#angel.doc#twn spoilers#i never wrote my wpb meta so have some extraordinary things meta instead shdfdfddfd#i truly think that first verse is so complex and multi-layered and can be read in multiple ways (both in-universe and externally)#like this is what i meant by 4d chess like how the FUCK can i explain what jaskier's doing in that first verse#its also little things. the background vocals that pick up in the second verse.#the way the second verse is omitted from the diegetic performance of the song which could imply jaskier hadn’t written it at the time#the way that we hear this song over the credits only after they get together in ep 4 and it's an extended version BUT#the extended version is entirely instrumental after the first half ends which also imply that the second half hasn't yet been written#as a whole i think that a lot of twn songs can be read through both internal and external lenses to enhance their existence in the narrativ#the fact that some of them have different names in-universe as opposed to on the ost. the choices they make in diegetic song placement.#im not very inclined in musical terminology but my brain is going insane over what this show does with its songs and how joey himself write#(and tbh i like to think of the sountrack/ost versions of songs as smth separate or alternate from the ones seen directly In the episodes)#idk. just very much intrigued with the idea of this song as a conversation#the entire song being an illustration of the masks they both wear#the truth that lies beneath them‚ and the way they both try to chip at each other until one of them drops it first.#obsessed with certain choices and going a little too insane about them <3

Now... how do i phrase "i have depression and maybe some kind of personality disorder, and i need antidepressants now or else im gonna hurt myself" in a way where my doctor will think that it was his idea, and that he came to that conclusion all by himself, so that he'll actually take me seriously and not just try and pawn me off to a school counsellor again

How I “go about” shifting
Tumblr media
While I do refer to it as “DR” “OR” “CR” when talking or explaining something to someone else, I prefer to call it my:
“future reality” (usually realities that are very similar to the one in currently in but with a desired change. I shift between them so often that there’s no use in giving it a specific name like “healthy hair DR” or “A+ student DR”
“past reality” (so far I haven’t ever shifted back to one of my past realities, but it’s a replica for saying “OR” even though I don’t have one)
“__ life” (instead of calling things a desired reality, I like to recognize that it’s an actual life of mine, also makes me feel more connected to it. I usually use this term when the reality has major changes from my past ones, like my kpop DR/life)
Original reality (doesn’t refer to just one reality but all my past and future realities that have similar “backgrounds”, as in the world order is pretty much the same even though I might change things about myself.)
And I believe that the reality I perceive in the current moment is the only physical one that exists at that moment, for me at least. But all realities that can be imagined can exist, since it starts in the 4D and then the 3D aligns with it.
I also used mixed terminologies for convenience, I say that I “manifest” even though I know it’s just shifting a reality and there’s nothing to manifest since I already have it.

desired boyfriend: my success story
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there's this guy i like. and guess what? he likes me back: here's my success story and how it happened.
what happened?
i'm specifically not going into details regarding our story, since it's a long one. there were multiple third parties involved, and i managed to manifest each one of them out of my sight. we had chemistry going on even before i decided to conciously manifest, and i only made our love bloom. everything is possible.
what helped me?
i kept on annoying my friends about him (and still do). i told them about how it looked in the 3D. i vented, but i also told them about how our good times looked like, and how i wanted them to look like - i kept this "balance". the best part was they listened and supported me thorough it all. i affirmed a lot. i used subliminals and manifested, made sure to spend time with him and chat. i visualized - us both living together happily, us sharing happy memories, us hanging out. even when i wasn't conciously manifesting, i knew i was still doing that - we manifest all the time, no matter what, and my desire was to be his boyfriend. and so, it worked.
how long did it take?
actually, not so long. it was hard for me to understand at first, but as i learnt more about the 4D and law of assumption, i realized that i'm the only one who controls the outcome.
Tumblr media
to sum it up, here are some tips from me:
surround yourself with positive people. yes, this one may seem like something more fitting law of attraction, but having people's support helped me believe in my affirmations more. for me, affirming while having someone i can always come up to about a problem is easier; while having support. remember though that your current situation doesn't matter while manifesting, nor do emotions. this is simply what worked for me. you don't have to constantly affirm. you manifest regardless. i didn't always have time nor energy to conciously affirm. i had my desire in the back of my mind, and i continued to affirm subconciously. you can call it "taking a break" from affirming, but in reality, you affirm all the time; you manifest all the time. just think about what you want and here - you have it already. it's as simple as that. try different methods. there are a lot of different methods of manifesting. each one works and there are no rules to it. you may find it easier to manifest via scripting, and someone else will prefer subliminals. manifesting isn't hard, and the method you choose is only for your comfort. the 3D isn't real. remembering this fact definietely helps while manifesting. sometimes, we don't constantly see our results in the 3D, and that's only because we assume we don't - in short, try thinking about the 3D as your mind playing tricks on you. only you know what's real and what isn't, and whenever you will experience something unwanted, simply don't accept that. "it never happened", change the story to how you want it to go. did you lose your book? actually, you didn't, and you just found it. is there a third party involved? "they don't exist in my reality". is he not the version of him you want? change it then. manifest him to be the perfect boyfriend you could dream of. (of course, it applies to all genders.)
terminology: 3D, 4D, law of attraction, subliminal, affirming, visualizing, scripting *the terminology will be updated with resources.

Self-realization vs derealization
I saw an ask @adadisciple about derealization and thought I'd add my 2 cents here as I have experienced derealization in the past and might be able to offer a bit more insight. I didn't want to reblog that ask for personal reasons and also the response is really long. Disclaimer: I am not a therapist either, my thoughts are based on personal experience alone so take whatever feels right and leave the rest. Also I can't speak from the perspective of full realization as I am not there yet but hopefully this helps in some way.
When I first found non-dualism, I also had similar concerns as someone who had experienced derealization, I thought: was this another thing that was going to induce it?
Let's start with the definition (thank you Google) for those reading who may be unclear:
Depersonalization/derealization disorder involves a persistent or recurring feeling of being detached from one's body or mental processes, like an outside observer of one's life (depersonalization), and/or a feeling of being detached from one's surroundings (derealization).
From personal (human/ego) experience, this condition is purely of the mind and body with blocked awareness (? not sure if this is correct terminology, I am not talking about pure awareness in this case but more mindfulness*) and is often just a symptom of another mental or physical condition/illness such as depression/anxiety etc. The mind and/or body are just completely detached however, there is clouded awareness (due to the mind/body) and you just feel like you are existing and floating around. You very much still feel a part of the world and identify as such (although feeling detached & disengaged) even if you have lost faith in everything you feel as real. It's sort of hard to put into words but if you have experienced derealization too, then hopefully you can relate and understand what I am getting at. When I experienced it, I didn't know of any truth. I just lost faith in the world and didn't know what was real anymore. So, I was completely checked out.
*Mindfulness is paying full attention to what is going on in you and outside you, moment by moment, without judgment. (thanks Google)
Ada made a really good distinction here (I suggest reading the full ask)**:
The point of this all was to let go of concepts, let go of believing in things, investigating their validity, experimenting. Disbelieving you are Vanessa and denial are not the same thing. Denial is when you deny reality to something you're already giving reality to. Disbelieving was meant as an experiment, you never thought yourselves to be anything but this body, what will happen if you did?
**Actually, re-reading that ask made me realize maybe a reblog of an exercise I recommended is not the best since it instructs denial of what ego believes to be real instead of disbelief and experimentation (eep, Vanessa is still learning and evolving!). See my edit on this post :)
Here is another relevant and helpful ask by 4dbarbie:
I don't teach to do anything to the 3D, not even deny it. Not seeing the world as it is, is an aversion to it. - Lester Levenson Your 3D is right and perfect, what you see is what you are so even if you're seeing what 'you' don't want, the 3D is not wrong in being what it is. Fearing it, trying to manipulate it, lying to yourself about it being something different - all useless and vain attempts. See it as it is and it will fix itself. And no, being delusional is not good, it leads you not to trust your own judgment OR senses. Which is not right, why shouldn't you? What is wrong with your vision? Being delusional from your ego self is really harmful, someone could be abusing you and you would go "i'm sure that's not right he loves me so much in my 4D!!!"
So lets clarify the distinction:
Derealization = denial of everything while still identifying as the ego (and the world as reality) although not wanting to => ego experiences confusion/chaos/mental condition/disorders
Self-realization = disbelief of current reality concepts => letting go of such concepts and quieting the mind => experiencing the true Self (the creator of the mind) => permanent identification with Self, not imaginary concepts (including the ego) => Knowing Reality, and therefore realizing full peace and freedom
Now let's move onto practicing non-dualism. The basis of the practice is let go of thoughts, quiet the mind and focus on being awareness/I AM. It is all about letting go, not denial.
From a non-dualist perspective, derealization is just another mental concept/creation. When the mind is completely silent (and sustained) and pure awareness is realized and embodied, when Self is your permanent identification, when you (Self) know you are not your body not Vanessa feeling dissassociated from mind & body or just intellectually knowing it from learning concepts (important distinction!), it is not derealization, in fact it is the only reality, the only truth.
I have experienced short moments of experiencing myself as the pure witness where the mind was completely quiet and those short moments felt so peaceful, whole and true. There were no feelings of derealization in that moment because there was no active mind then. Right now, I do think my ego feels a bit derealized at times but this is because I have not fully identified with Self yet and it is also because my sense and understanding of reality is in the process of being recalibrated on this journey. When this happens, I sit in silence and go back to the one truth 'I Am' and feel myself into it and everything else melts away. The more you do this, the more you will feel the truth and peace until it becomes permanent (when you realize Self).
But no one can give you the whole truth but yourself.
Lester: Yes. However, knowing what you're telling me helps one let go of that obstacle of intellectual knowledge. I prod you in this direction, don't I? I say: “Don't believe anything. Start from scratch. Build up your knowledge on the solid foundation of proof, step by step.” Everyone must do this. Q: You can't take someone else's experience? Lester: Right, you would be working on hearsay, on what they have said, and the only useful thing is that which you experience. I relate it to driving a car. If I say I know how to drive a car after reading a book that directs you to turn the key on, start the motor, shift into drive and step on the gas, do I know how to drive a car? No, not until I experience it can I drive a car. It's the same thing on the path; we must experience everything. We must, of course, adopt the attitude that what the Great Ones say is so, that they have experienced it. However, you must check it out and prove it for yourself. And the basic Truth is that there’s only one Reality; there's only one absolute Truth, and that is that this whole world or universe is nothing but God, but better than that, is nothing but my very own Self. God could be far away; He could be miles and miles away in cosmic space, but my very own Self is right here, is something I know about, is something I can perceive, it is my very own Self! So, using Self as God is far more practical than putting Him out there, putting Him apart from us. But each one must start from the bottom and prove this whole thing for himself. As the proofs come, the more they come the more we accept until we experience the whole thing. - Lester Levenson, Session 11: Meditation with Quest - Keys to Ultimate Freedom
"And the basic Truth is that there’s only one Reality; there's only one absolute Truth" I literally didn't even read this excerpt before sharing it (searched the book for the keyword 'proof' because I was looking for another excerpt) but came to the same conclusion after practicing and experiencing it for myself. And that is what you must do if you want the truth too. Experience and then decide for yourself.
This perceived and experienced knowledge is the only knowledge that does us any good. We can read everything on the subject, but it doesn’t help. Our life doesn’t change much, and it doesn’t because we don’t integrate the knowledge into our beingness through realization. Realized knowledge is nonintellectual, although the means we use are intellectual. We use our mind, we direct our mind toward the answer, but you will discover that the answer does not come from the mind. It comes from a place just behind the mind. It comes from the realm of knowingness, the realm of omniscience. By quieting the mind through stilling our thoughts, each and every one of us has access to this realm of knowingness. Then and there you realize, you make real. You know and you know that you know. - Lester Levenson, Session 6: Realization - Keys to Ultimate Freedom
If you want to understand more about the process of realizing Self, I recommend reading my 4dbarbie remix post. If you have already read it, reread it, maybe even read some of the referenced posts/asks and see if you get any new understanding. Or better yet, just sit in silence and stillness, quiet the mind and focus on 'I Am'.
I must emphasise that in non-duality, letting go of the ego is the basic foundation of practice as it is very much a journey of self-transformation (this is just another concept to help the ego understand, but you are always, have always been and always will be Self, you just do not see it as you are currently identified as the ego).
If you (the ego) are not willing to do that, then come back when you are ready. It is not up to anyone to convince you to adopt this practice and way of life.

I never understood why some people insist that rings, bumpers, loops, and rails can't actually be part of the world when all that stuff shows up OUTSIDE of gameplay

How much more proof do people need?
Sonic's world is simply full of fantastical things. It's not that complicated.
I mean I can understand why you'd feel that way initially. Putting aside comic fans who are not invested in video games as a medium - it is pretty typical of video games for you to just suspend your disbelief about anything involving damage mechanics in a game. Like take for example Half Life - you get blown up with a grande and shot full of alien electricity attacks and shot full of bullets, what happens? You walk over a first aid kit and suddenly you're back to max. The game isn't really expecting you to think of things realistically. Enemy attacks take hitpoints away, first aid stations and medpacks give hitpoints back. You're not really meant to imagine in your minds eye the concept of Gordan Freeman pausing to put disinfectant and gauze over his bleeding wounds.
Only Metal Gear Solid 3 is brave enough for that lol.
So in Sonic, the rings are primarily interacted with by the player as a method of extra damage allowance and end of level score ranking. So I do think it is perfectly reasonable for someone who is used to the suspension of disbelief that games typically invoke when it comes to systems like that which relate to hitpoints and mistake allowance, and for them to just write it off as not "really" being a part of the game world so to speak. I do think in that sense it is a natural conclusion to come to if you're engaging with the video game as a series of interactive systems on the one hand and then a sequence of sequential storytelling on the other hand. Because that IS how most video games work. The gameplay and narrative are two separate things that don't often overlap. TV Tropes calls this gameplay story segregation. Shithead journalists call it ludonarrative dissonance.
It takes an additional level of investment to accept the world of Sonic AS a video game world, an immerse setting in which the fictional characters with rich inner lives inhabit WHICH ALSO embraces the fact that it is a video game with these systems of interaction as an in universe element of the world. Sonic looks at the camera and directly addresses the player. Sonic Adventure 2, a game that has a very serious story that address mature themes, has a poster like this in the very first level
Tumblr media
Characters will directly refer to things via video game terminology of "stages" and "bosses"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The characters KNOW that they're in a video game. And aren't shy about referencing that fact. The fact that these are fictional characters in an interactive piece of fiction is something that they're aware of and acknowledge.
For SOME people, this violates their suspension of disbelief. It makes it difficult or impossible for them to emotionally invest in the story, because the story itself is admitting to merely being a story. Or they dismiss these instances as not being "real" in the context of the story, ignoring these moments in order to preserve their investment.
This is an understandable reaction. But it is also WEAK and COWARDLY! Y'all bitches wouldn't never last through the Metal Gear series! Sonic ain't got NOTHING on how meta and self aware Metal Gear is! SOLID SNAKE CANONICALLY DEFEATS PSYCHO MANTIS BY PLUGGING THE CONTROLLER INTO THE PLAYER 2 SLOT THAT IS CANON AND IT GETS ACKNOWLEDGED AGAIN IN MGS4 BECAUSE THE PS3 DOESN'T HAVE WIRED CONTROLLER SLOTS ANYMORE!!! Metal Gear Solid 3 has The Boss say this line of dialog
Tumblr media
and that game will have you CRYING like a LITTLE BITCH by the time the credits roll.
.......... anyway
so yeah, growing up means embracing the fact that the world of Sonic has rings and bounce pads and characters who look at the camera and roll their eyes because your ass is taking too long, and still taking it seriously as a piece of fiction worthy of investment and analysis. You have to meet the games halfway and engage with them on their own terms. Some people aren't willing to meet the games halfway. Which is fine. But only as long as they aren't acting like the games are at fault for that. The games aren't doing anything wrong just because they don't conform to your personal standards of how much you'll accept a video game being self aware.
Rings and springs/bounce pads are "canon" whether you like it or not.

I’m kinda confused, is there a difference between reality shifting, law of attraction and law of assumption?
(long response ahead lol)
to be honest i’m not sure what the reality shifting is really about because i never read such posts on here. therefore i won’t be able to speak on it.
the only idea of reality shifting i have is the one that’s like an astral projection thing that got pretty popular years ago that even i almost got into. it overall consists of literally scripting a specific reality (usually with fictional characters) then making yourself shift into it while your physical body stays in this reality resting or literally living life normally until you “come back to it” because it says that there is no linear sense of time. some of the things in this version of reality shifting is actually found in manifestation (i can make a post explaining it) but the one i described doesn’t have anything to do with manifesting overall as far as i know.
Tumblr media
when it comes to Law of Attraction (LOA) vs Law of Assumption (LOASS).
you might find some people in the manifestation community refer to both of them simultaneously. overall they both teach manifestation. i’ve mentioned Law of Attraction in my posts before because it was my first ever encounter with the topic of manifestation. i personally find Law of Attraction to have limiting beliefs and somewhat outdated views that distorts manifestation to people (i know multiple with not so great experiences that now switched to LOASS).
so there are quite some differences:
✦ overall Law of ATTRACTION teaches you that the Universe is in charge of bringing you your manifestation, to which you have to surrender and allow to bring your desires. if it doesn’t deliver then that means Universe has something greater in store for you planned.
basically where the “this or something better” affirmation comes from. the notion that some things are just “not meant to be 🤷‍♀️”
✧ meanwhile Law of ASSUMPTION on the other hand tells you that you’re the operant power in your reality. you’re the creator so what you assume to be true is what will be. you are limitless, whatever you mainly believe - goes.
Tumblr media
also seen some shame surrounding manifesting SPs in Law of Attraction communities because there is no such idea as EIYPO (everyone is you pushed out). therefore other people have free will in your reality and some would say it’s “karmic” to try and do anything about that. or that they’re simply not on the same “vibrational frequency as you” anymore once you elevate your thinking.
speaking of terminology… there are plenty of buzz words in both communities that kinda overlap. in Law of Attraction you’ll often hear “frequency” and “vibration” used interchangeably. translated into Law of Assumption words it’s basically talking about your state!
★ vibration = predominant state of being, your main thoughts and assumptions
★ frequency = how often you come back to that state, which then allows you to manifest in the 3D
Tumblr media
also in Law of Attraction you’ll usually find certain rules attached to how the manifestation process goes and overall put quite some importance on “signs”
like: “something bad has to happen first as a test before you get your manifestation” or “Universe will speak to you through music lyrics which is a sign you’re manifestation is near” etc.
in Law of Assumption you basically experience what you believe you will. it all depends on what you assume. if you even become aware that you keep seeing the same words everywhere then you’ll see more of that lol. your 3D is your mirror, it reflects your 4D at all times.
that’s my perspective on this ❀

sorry to be that person who inboxes you about your post that blew up, but i'm wondering if you could elaborate on your feelings re: great cities? as someone who was pretty disappointed by the second book i'm curious as to someone else's take on it
do not apologize i love that you messaged me about this because i love to talk about that series LMAO. i genuinely do love it a lot and think about and draw manhattan often because he lives in my head rent free 24/7. And I don't think its bad as much as it is just kind of mid, but it's literally like in that post, I love some characters and concepts but I don't think they're often executed well.
Especially as someone who loves some of NKJ's other work the writing style and commentary just felt much more surface level and juvenile than what I expect from her. It was very much like baby's first introduction to racism and gentrification as a concept. It's less ABOUT racism and gentrification and more using racism and gentrification as a shorthand to identify the Bad Guys. It felt really silly to me that all the main characters, people with vastly different backgrounds, have identical politics and all know how to speak in updated social justice terminology. And of course all the bad guys are cartoonishly and obviously bigoted, with the exception of Aislyn who is instead just portrayed as stupid. It's this very simplistic rendering of bigotry that I feel like is a huge waste of examining racism through the concept of a personified new york, because there's so many interesting ways you can go with that.
speaking of main characters....i don't feel like any of them exist as fully realized people other than manhattan, aislyn, brooklyn, and neek. The majority of them just aren't very interesting because they don't seem to have any kind of inner conflict or arc, especially compared to Manhattan who seems to be shouldering every subplot and the entirety of the books' emotional weight.
The first book I think you can ignore a lot of this for just because the concept goes so hard and it follows that simple avengers-style structure of introducing characters and assembling a team, but the second book has majorrrr issues even just purely structurally, I think stemming from the fact that it was supposed to be 2 books originally. Because of that there's just way too much happening and none of it feels explored or resolved. The city multiverse tree shit did not need to be explained and the explanation just did not make sense and that makes me sad to say that because cities as eldritch beings is such a banger concept and I normally love 4D nonsense so thats how you know its bad.
More than anything I just feel like it's such a waste. It's such a good concept with some really interesting characters that live in me forever. Personified new york and eldritch evils as colonizers is just so symbolically rich and I would have loved to have read the version of this story that felt as well thought out as 5th season did

Ok so like manifesting/shifting 4d & 3d stuff simplified for me or anyone who needs it (人*´∀`)。*゚+
Everyone says it's not as hard as it seems, and they're right. But I get confused easily with a lot of the text posts I see I guess (Not that anyone's posts aren't helpful, they're just technical and use proper terminology and stuff)
But sometimes I'm a little baby that needs simplified things ( ≧Д≦)
The "3d" is just a reflection of your "4d"
When you shift, your focus shouldn't be on what you see around you, it should be on helping your mind become aware of your desired reality. Focus less on trying to change what you can see and focus on your consciousness as a whole. It's how I succeed in my first shift!!!
Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I'm too stupid for a lot of the posts I see for manifesting/shifting 😭😭 (not really I just find them confusing in wording so like idk this is what helped me brain)

after going hiatus i wanted to say i rlly miss the community on here and im FINALLY at a place where i have stable beliefs in my view of spirituality that align with me!!
i might not be on here as much as i used to be (bc life n stuff,) but i rlly wanna open this space back up to discussions and having a community yk!! :3 im open to talking thru inbox chats or if you’ve ever wanted to be friends, feel free to say something!! :) i luv tumblr tbh, i thought abt leaving bc i lost my passion for what i was posting but honestly i just think i need to post more of what aligns with me for now.
so, recently i noticed some ppl in the loa community looking into nondualism philosophies so i was like omg wuts that (creds to yall on yt and insta btw)
and basically it just fits my beliefs much more now and i feel a lot better!! i no longer believe in certain terms like subconscious, 3d or 4d, states, or rlly any terminology involving the law. i honestly dont have any terminological beliefs anymore, i just believe we are all one god and that’s it. consciousness is the only reality, so nothing has to be done to manifest. you already have anything you want and thats it!
if you disagree with me that’s okay! you can do what u will and follow ur own beliefs, thats what we’re all meant to do!! 💖
anyhow, i think im less interested in teaching my beliefs, but more interested in advocating for people to find their own way and sharing experiences within the community. i love and appreciate all of my followers sm btw!! i rlly jus want to create a lighthearted community in here where we can talk abt manifesting/ shifting experiences and just chat abt all things :D im open to helping ppl casually too, im just less of a teacher/ coach kinda person imo.
extra lil info abt me recently:
lately ive j been making lil improvements in my life, and im superr excited bc im about to do a lot of traveling that ive been wanting to do for a v long time!! besides that, ive been working on my yt subs a lot and its become a rlly fun little outlet for me! ill link it jus incase anyone wants <3
anywaysss, to close this off, im excited to have my little blog on here and do literally whatever!! im open to a lot of things, just lmk!! ❣️🪬☮️

OKAY IM BACK AND JUST WATCHED THE WICKED PART 1 MOVIE.
-it was so very gay! But there was still a lot of queer baiting, in the sense that our main 3 characters had overtly queer overtones and flirted with people of the same sex, but we never saw or was told of any overt physicality. There were a lot of queer extras though- like Bowen Yang as Pfanne! I liked the LGBTQ+ representation much better in the movie version than the stage version.
- they still casted a white Fiyero 😔. However I do like how the actor played Fieryo- like that man is a pansexual slut (not a slur but a lifestyle), and isn’t a complete asshole like he is in the beginning of the stage musical. But the blue dimonds??! Please have them in part 2!
- the music was fantastic!
-the visual beauty of this film- wow! That opening scene?!! I immediately need a Universal Studios version of the 4D Avatar Disney ride but as a flying monkey traveling through Oz.
-no Crope or Tibbit 😭
- no Quadding mention even though it’s in the fucking lyrics! Like that intro scene to Shiz where it’s under water- they could have had rubies in the sandbank!
- the Animal animation was okay, better than the Lion King. I liked they they didn’t try to make the animals bipedal. Kinda wished they would have had the Tiktoks murder Dillamond, but I understand the rating of the movie. It’s just a pivotal part of Elphaba’s radicalization though
- the marketing is literally just like Huger Games…like yall don’t know what this musical is about so you? lol
-I liked the Wizard- good casting choice! I would have loved to see a more tender moment between Elphaba and the Wizard tho, like some tears of gratefulness maybe? Really well home the betrayal
- I wanted more of Fiyero’s culture! AND OMG THEY CALLED HIM THE WINKIE PRINCE instead of the Vinkus. Like WINKIE is a slur! I would have loved to see Fiyero correct people on that terminology- show that he and his people are experiencing some oppression from greater Oz
- the bullet train- love it
-loved Elphaba and Nessa being mixed race (which makes sense), and Elphaba having micro braids! I loved how she looked! It also keeps the interracial relationship between Elphaba/Glinda/Fiyero alive.
-they mention the Time Clock Dragon but never explain it! :(
- Elphaba is very feminine…which okay. I wish she wasn’t but I also understand that they at least had a queer women play her.
Overall- great fucking movie, loved it way more than the stage musical. I’m going to go rewatch it in theaters with my mom.
My predictions for the wicked movie knowing Hollywood if they include elements of the book (which they should!!!):
-queer bait the shit out of Elphaba and Glinda
-they hired a white guy to play Fiyero so I’m betting they may attempt the whole subverting the race power dynamics thing instead of yknow sticking with the very clear allegories in the book. They also won’t let Fiyero wear his cultural clothing, instead sticking with a very boring suit or shirtpants
-make Elphaba very feminine…I swear the god if they don’t give her a too big man’s coat she wears in the book I will fight someone
- more of a tiktok thing that will happen: ‘Blue diamonds on a green field’ romance trend
-either they will focus too much on the Time Clock Dragon or not at all despite it’s importance to the plot
-if Crope and Tibbit are included, they either will not verbally queer but will either wear leather or have colored hankies (cuz the costume department knows what they are doing), or they will be the opposite of yassified
-they won’t show Tibbit (I think it’s him) in hospice dying of what is implied to be HIV/AIDS (which omg is such a large part of the plot and culture of which it was derived from! The whole ‘friends of Dorthy’ + queer women having to step up and care for queer men during HIV/AIDS crisis in the 80s and 90s and still to this day!!! There is so much subtext in that few pages!)
-the genocide of the Quaddlings for their land’s rubies won’t be mentioned or if it is they will ‘holocaust’-ify it and it will be very disrespectful
-they won’t make the Wizard like ale enough. The whole point in the musical is that he is so charming that even Elphaba is tempted. A fatherly actor, Tom Hanks??, should play the Wizard 🫢
-the Animal animation will either be extremely bad (like the Lion King remake), which is most likely, or they won’t use it at all. And tbh I want to see something like that is in Narnia.
-they will market it like they did the Hunger Games (I honestly don’t have much of a problem with this because I found that fascinating when that happened).
-it’s gonna be so straight. And that’s really sad because this book was written by a gay man, and has sooooooo many references to queer culture and most of the characters are canonically queer in some way. And honestly as depressing as the book is, I read it as a cathartic image of what LGBTQIA+ and POC go through. I think that is why I love it so much- I see myself and my pain and my community’s pain represented in a nuanced way.
-the only thing I can rely on happening is the violence against women 🙄 it’s in everything
I just really want a wicked series that is similar to Game of Thrones (with better writing) mixed with Pose and MASH, and be a political/action/horror thriller like Kingdom (K-drama). I know that’s complicated but it all plays out in my head lol.
I’m holding out this much 🤏🏻 hope.

Sonic the Comic Liveblog: Issue 35
Tumblr media
I scrolled past this cover only to scroll back up a minute later when the pun clicked. Well played, StC, that’s a pretty clever one.
Tumblr media
I’m not gonna lie, that sounds like the scariest thing you could hear from someone you’re keeping captive.
Also, Porker still has the Sonic logo jacket. Nice. Super jealous.
Tumblr media
How exactly did Knuckles know that Robotnik was there?
Tumblr media
Not sure if Sonic is choosing to save Porker here out of heroicness/concern/whatever else, or if he has one of those Joseph Joestar-esque 4D chess plan up his sleeve that he does on occasion
Tumblr media
Ooh, nice alternative to the ice cave! Also, the emeralds look weirdly edible here. Like hard candies.
Tumblr media
What?! I know Knuckles is characterised as gullible but I would not trust some randomer I’d only recently met to do that.
Tumblr media
New Tails story this issue and well… I can’t say Sonic and Tails look great in this artstyle. The backgrounds look fine, it’s just the characters themselves that look off.
I’m guessing it might just be a case of a new artist for the comic who’s not used to drawing them yet. This was only 1994, it’s not like nowadays where many of the artists working for the official comics have been drawing Sonic since they were children.
Tumblr media
Hopefully we get to see whoever this is up close, even as they are they seem to have interesting designs
Tumblr media
Most Tails solo stories so far only tend to have Sonic around for a handful of panels, but it’s the second page and he’s still here.
Tumblr media
Ah, I see, they just took a bit longer to split them up
Tumblr media
Sweet jesus christ, this is a contender with that one panel from the Christmas issue for most disturbing Robotnik drawing.
Tumblr media
One: Nutzan Bolt is a great pun name. Two: I forgot for a moment that video calls were a non-existent future technology back in the 90s so the terminology obviously isn’t going to be the same.
Tumblr media
I’m assuming that’s a homemade costume, and I have to say that’s pretty awesome looking for an amateur job
Tumblr media
I did a double take at the name on this letter. Assuming he was still into Sonic by the mid 2000s, I wonder what went through this kid’s head when Jason Griffith became the VA for Sonic?

assume the life you want to live and embody it everyday until it becomes fact
Tumblr media
✨your one stop shop to the basics of the law of assumption✨
what is the law of assumption?
a means of manifesting your desires through persisting in the assumption/belief that you already have it
who introduced the law?
The most known teacher of the law of assumption is good ole’ Neville Goddard (although he isn’t the one who first discovered the law). You will often see quotes or references of his whenever you look up anything loa related.
Help, I’m seeing all these weird words and I have no clue what any of it means😵‍💫
The basic loa terminology that you need to know:
Law of assumption (ie; the law or loa)
3D world- the world you physically live in
4D world- the world of your imagination, thoughts and beliefs; your mind
affirm or affirmation(s)- phrases that you tell your subconscious mind (ie; ‘I am so fine’)
saturate your mind- when you tell yourself certain affirmations over and over again
persist- do not take what the 3d world shows as you not having your manifestation(s), you’ve seen it (imagined), heard it or felt it in your 4d and that’s the true reality so stick to the fact that you know you have all of your desires in the 4d and it’s only a matter of time before they show up in the 3d.
Ok, we’ll how long does it take to manifest?
Neville was confident that three days is all it takes for your desires to manifest into the 3d. However all of that depends on you and your willingness to persist in your assumptio(s) and ignore anything contradicting what you assume to be true.
Do I have to affirm?
Saying affirmations is one of the many techniques that you can use to get your manifestations. I recommend finding something that works and feels natural to you.
Are there any exceptions to the law?
no, nada, nopity nope. zero exceptions the law works for everyone, it’s based on what you assume/believe to be true so if you believe the law doesn’t work for you then it won’t.
what can I manifest?
you can manifest anything under the stars, sun , moon and Milky Way Galaxy. there is no limit because you are a limitless being.
what about logic ?
logic doesn’t exist (my personal belief)
is there a limit to what I can manifest?
no, you can manifest 10 million things at once if you want, simply affirm (if you want) “I have all my desires.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Neville Goddard
Who is Neville Goddard?
Neville Goddard (or as I like to call him the ‘Godfather’ of loa) is the man who taught the basics of the law.
His teachings have inspired many people worldwide and a lot of bloggers on tumble go by his teachings/ beliefs.
Neville believed in visualization + feeling of the wish fulfilled to bring your desires forth to the 3d. “Imagining + faith = success”.
Now a lot of bloggers have their own personal beliefs about wether or not visualizing along with feeling your wish fulfilled is the best method to get your desires.
I’m not one of them, however I invite you to try Neville’s techniques for yourself to see if it’s a method you want to try or not.
Overall I highly recommend if you’re starting off with the law to read/listen to Neville’s lectures and books because he does offer descriptive details and advice regarding the law. also if you’re skeptic about the law he has testimonials of his students success stories.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Joseph Murphy
Who is Joseph Murphy?
He is also a teacher like Neville of the law. However his approach is different of Neville, but effective nonetheless.
Murphy believed in saturating your mind with affirmations to bring your desires into the 3d. I would also recommend him along with Neville to beginners who are just starting out with the law.
Now just like Neville there are certain beliefs of Murphy that I myself do not agree with, however that should not stop you from learning from them and forming your own beliefs.
He, just like Neville has success stories or testimonials from his students who studied and implemented his work.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Conclusion 😚
While on your loa journey it’s important to keep an open mind , because you never know what might works for you.
The most important thing is to take what resonates and feels natural to you and stick with it.
Don’t let other blogs tell you there’s a right or wrong way to implementing the law because that is solely and purely their own belief.
Now there are core principles to the law just like any other law. The most important thing to remember is to persist in your assumption(s) no matter what.
happy manifesting ☺️🫶🏾
𝑇ℎ𝑒 3𝐷 & 𝑇ℎ𝑒 4𝐷
Tumblr media
According to neville goddard there are two types of worlds. The external world, which we call the 3D, and the internal world, which is called the 4D. Neville made it very clear that the 3D world would not be able to exist without the 4D world. As the 3D is a mirror, it reflects the 4D.
Houses, cars, bikes, etc, they all exist because of the 4D. Everything first existed in the 4D and then it was then reflected into the physical reality, the 3D, second. Everything is created by the power of imagination. He said that both are not actually ‘real’. The only difference is that our 4D world will eventually harden into the 3D and create our reality. Our imagination becomes our reality.
How do we change the 3D?
For example, you want to be 5ft5 but you’re stuck at 5ft. In order to change the 3D, we must change our 4D. Which all starts with our assumptions. So you’ll have to start persisting in thoughts that suggest you are, indeed 5ft7. Instead of looking at the 3D and complaining about how you’re not tall yet, you take yourself away from the 3D reality and start living in your imagination (The 4D) and acting as if you are already 5ft5 Then without a doubt you will see your inner reality be reflected into your physical reality.
Remember: Don’t get mad at the 3D, it’s not your enemy. it’s literally just doing it job, serving your assumptions. The 3D is the shadow of the 4D.
Rearranging the 4D:
If you flip your thoughts to align with your desires and persist in the new favourable thoughts. Those thoughts will be become new assumptions. And those assumptions will harden to fact and create your 3D.
Terminology-
The 4D- Your internal reality. The mental reality. This is where all your assumptions are stored and hardened into fact to create your 3D. Your inner reality manifests your assumptions into fact and reflects them in your 3D world.
The 3D- Your external reality. The world we can see with our physical eyes. The 3D, your reality, is just one big reflection of your 4D. So your reality is one big mirror of your assumptions and beliefs.
Change your internal reality, your thoughts—> Persist in those new assumptions—> And the 3D will reflect those assumptions as fact
hi. i’m really confused and need help if you wouldn’t mind.
what is 4D and 3D? are they the same as terms DR, CR, OR, etc? what’s the difference between 3D and 4D?
what’s LOA?
what’s it mean when people write that you are god?
how do i stop doubts? will i not be able to manifest/shift if i have doubts?
what’s it mean to reprogram my mind?
sorry if this is weird or whatever, but my mind is getting really overwhelmed at the idea of,, manifesting. being a .. “god”. kind of because i haven’t read anything on this stuff for 2+ years and i just sort of uncovered this LOL, aka, help, i’m a beginner that has sort of just ‘believed’ in old style shifting and i don’t understand current stuff yet
- ☎️ anon because i might come back <3
Hi there! Let's cover some terminology!
okay so the 3D-Reality is the physical reality. It's all the things you can see, touch, hear, smell, and and so on. The 4D- Reality is basically your imagination. It's your "Inner world". It is your thoughts and feelings and desires.
LOA is "Law Of Assumption" or "Law of attraction". These are two different laws btw, but if you are mostly on Tumblr, people mean the law of assumption 99.99% of the time. Law of Assumption is a law that is permanently working, which states "Whatever you assume is true." We use this law to manifest things into our reality. You can use it in many many ways, and a lot of creators are here to explain how they use and apply the law to get what they want, and some people are applying law of assumption in order to shift realities. Example: If I assume I am in my DR, I am in my DR. Because whatever you assume to be true, is true. Just like the sky is blue because you assume the sky is blue.
When people say they are god, they usually do not mean that literally. From what I have gathered, people say they are god, because once you understand that you can literally manifest EVERYTHING using the law of assumption, you can consider yourself like a god, because you decide everything in your life/reality. Since the law is constantly working and that means you constantly manifest whatever assumption you have right now, that also means that you are constantly creating everything about your life/reality no matter what. And when you are the only creator of your reality, you are basically the god of your own reality.
Stopping doubts is not that easy, but I can assure you, you can manifest everything you want in life even if you doubt it. If you assume your doubts can't stop you, they won't. But at the same time: I have read so so many success stories of people manifesting huge things into their life, even though they were doubting it. So never worry about if your doubts can stop you, because they can't! One thing that has proven to work quite well, is that if you start manifesting small things like seeing a butterfly on your way home, and you work your way up to manifesting bigger things, you can gain trust in manifestation and that will slowly erase your doubts on your own.
reprogram your mind is a phrase that basically means you need to change your way of thinking. Why are we reprogramming our minds? So since you said that you aren't quite familiar with all of the phrases and the "New style of shifting", I will give you a quick crash-course in what the main mindset is, that LOA-Bloggers use to shift, and the logic behind it.
So we covered the terms 4D and 3D reality. By law, whatever you assume is true. Assumptions start in your mind and imagination and then show up in your life. That means: 4D comes first and then it manifests into the 3D. You assume that you are rich in your imagination and then you are rich in your 3D Reality as well. See why we are reprogramming our minds? Because when everything starts in your mind then we need to bring our mind onto the right track to get the desired results in the 3D, since whatever you assume is true. I know you said you are a "Old-style-shifter", and what I imagine that to mean, is you were a lot on TikTok and tried many methods and subliminals etc. but if you think about it, almost every method there is, always starts with the law of assumption. Its always visualizing things, trying to feel like you are really deeply in your visualization and basically live in your DR in your head. That's exactly what Law of Assumption is at the end of the day. Imagining something and then it appears in the 3D. so you have not been introduced to a new way of shifting, you are just finally understanding why and how its working.
I didn't explain everything that goes into law of assumption right now because I didn't want to overwhelm you right at the start, plus there are many blogs that can go so much better into depth of what law of assumption includes and how to apply it the best way possible. If you want to learn about it, look up "Neville Goddard" and "law of assumption", to get the best results.
let me know if I can answer more things for you, and I hope I was able to help ☎️- anon ❤️
Evie <3
