Sniper Elite Resistance
This game is so much fun! I love how if you get a special kill in an area, it shows you the damages you have done. This game has an almost open world effect but it does not allow you to go out of boundaries.
This game you have to also worry about the wind and bullet drops, sometimes the wind will carry your bullet and if you are aiming long range and you hold your breath there is a cross hair that shows up to allow you to help know where to hit and if you are hitting your target. This game is only 2 player co-op on the campaign but if you want to do survival, it holds up to four.
There is also online multiplayer that holds up to 16 players. There are collectibles and all kinds of different objectives in this game and if you happen to get all the work benches in the missions, you unlock more and more for your guns. The guns are customizable meaning you can add just about anything to make it work for you.
I must warn you, there are going to be people coming in from different worlds trying to kill you, you have to kill them before they get to you and if you do, you win. There are phones all over the map that will allow you to call in to see where they were last spotted. This in my opinion is fun but after a while it gets tiresome and annoying when you are trying to complete certain objectives and missions. Sometimes you will not even notice the other player because they look just like the NPCs but if you watch them, you can tell something is off and sometimes they do not look like them.
If you fail, then you get a defeat window and you can start the mission back from where you left off. You can also turn this off in the options menu in which that was great for me because I got tired of being shot while doing the mission because it happens after so many minutes. It felt like one was coming right after another and I just wanted to finish the mission.
This game is fun and it only has 9 story missions and then a DLC one. Some of the missions can be longer than others and then exploring and looking for collectibles and other mission items takes a while to get through but luckily you can always go back and replay it.

Playing Fallout 4 on survival difficulty is interesting in that it makes the story significantly better through emergent gameplay. It took me roughly two in-game weeks of scavenging and scrounging every available resource before I was able to get out of Sanctuary alive. My first human contact was with a raider at an unmarked hovel north of the island who sicced a German Shepard on me without warning, and then nothing until Concord. I lost two shootouts with the bloatflies by the bridge. Fighting my way south to Diamond City was a jumpy, touch-and-go odyssey, and I was stuck in Diamond City for easily another three in-game weeks scraping together the resources necessary to punch through to Park Street station. Rinse and repeat for going after Kellogg, for punching through to Goodneighbor, for punching through the glowing sea to find Virgil. I actually had to plan shit out! For everything!
An inability to fast travel and a protagonist made of tissue paper turns every paperthin "moral compromise" present in the base game into a genuine nailbiter simply because you don't have the typical assurance that you'll be able to survive pursuing the dudley-do-right option. Covenant is a pointed example of this; attempting to take a stand against their kidnapping program is genuinely dangerous and impactful in a way it isn't in the base game, since you do it from within the belly of the beast and it converts a badly-needed stopover point into an inconveniently positioned, hard-to-assault nest of gunmen out for your blood. Extensive settlement building with the Minutemen goes from a bizarre, dissonant digression from the significantly more pressing business of finding your son, to a forward-thinking and practical measure taken to facilitate living long enough to find your son. The Brotherhood might be incipient technofeudalists but fuck it if they don't provide on-call airlifts. The Institute might be a totalitarian technocracy with a slave-based internal economy but they've got teleporters, running water, and if you threw in with them you'd never have to deal with any of this bullshit on the surface ever again. All of that's true in the base game, from a thematic perspective, but Survival mode makes you feel it. Finally, I understand the convention of NPCs farming out even the most basic fetch quests to the player; you're experiencing what the narrative has always been claiming would happen if they tried to do any of this themselves.

RANDOM ASTRO TAKES #4

Where is Capricorn in your chart can show where you are the GOAT, that’s an area of your life where with discipline and hard work you can overcome anything, all the doors are open and sky is the limit.
Uranus in Pisces in mutual reception with Neptune in Aquarius can embodies an ideal of creativity, spirituality, or physically. They’re divine muse if artists, skillful players, talented photographers, top models. But also intuitive fast thinkers, innovative healing maker, a good content creator, an influencer with eccentric community, an actor that you trust like no one… Neptune is in fall in Aquarius but it’s one of the less difficult fall, if we retire New Age bullshit and delusion about community in our modern society, that placement is in derivative 12H of its domicile, Pisces is in analogy with 12H, it’s symbolic of all the mysticism of the sky.
Generally, if the planets aren’t in exile/fall, harshly aspected or in difficult houses, mutual reception strengthened the planets implicated, their qualities blend each others to creates something very unique and special, Uranus can rules that type of placement.
Some of the best mutual reception :
Mercury in Cancer and Moon in Gemini (fast mind)
Mars in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio (THE achiever)
Venus in Cancer and Moon in Taurus (best sensual partner)
Jupiter in Libra and Venus in Sagittarius (abundance of pleasures)

A news from CIA says that Covid 19 had been leaked from a laboratory, when France, in collaboration with China, inaugurated a p4 laboratory BEFORE COVID in Wuhan specifically for this type of virus, it was very strange, given all this, that the new Moon is in Aquarius conjoined with Mercury and Pluto ruled by Saturn in Pisces, the sign of viruses and bacteria. With the new Moon in the same sign as the U.S. Moon, it really is a potential conspiracy in the making that people are now informed.
Mercury in Aquarius ingresses conjunct Pluto at 1 degrees, new ideas emerges from a hidden place of the mind, transformative conversations can disrupting your daily routine, technology boosted, AI more and more used, dystopian Black mirror shit happens in the real world..It’s a previous of the ingress of Uranus in Gemini trine Pluto.
Crown atmospheric of Sun is 1 million of degrees when the Sun is 5000 degrees Celsius, that’s why entourage of Sun dominant are very hot.
The start of a plutocracy/technocracy happens during a Sun/Pluto conjunction in Aquarius, that falls in the 3H of USA, Canada is menaced, Mexicans and South Americans refugees also.

what sign’s rising hide based on their derivative 8H :
Aries (Scorpio 8H) : the secrets of death
Taurus (Sag 8H) : secrets journeys places
Gemini (Cap 8H) : hidden inner knowledge
Cancer (Aqua 8H) : secrets of human birth
Leo (Pisces 8H) : hidden creativity skills
Virgo (Aries 8H) : secrets of motivation
Libra (Taurus 8H) : secrets of arcane le bateleur
Scorpio (Gemini 8H) : secrets books/secrets jokes
Sagittarius (Cancer 8H) : secrets of abundance
Capricorn (Leo 8H) : secrets of glowing up
Aquarius (Virgo 8H) : secrets of epistemology
Pisces (Libra 8H) : secrets of love
Where earth signs fall in your chart is how you are connected to nature,
1/5/9H : you might construct your identity, pleasures, philosophy of life based on grounded thoughts, your daily routine can be to enjoy the instant present, the little things that the life have to offer
2/6/10H : your relationships to material possessions can be so important, but warning on overconsumption, you’re maybe ethical in your career, values.
3/7/11H : you should connecting with others when you commit to your natural skills, that can be crafts or art, but you’re can really enjoy travel with your entourage in green places.
4/8/12H : survival mode might be in your subconscious patterns, you can knowing what is animal spirit, everything can be a natural law in this world for you.

Rating Skyrim player character racial abilities by how useful they’d be in the real world in 2025 Earth
(including survival abilities because we are living in survival mode irl)
Argonian
Passive: Resist disease 50%, water breathing, higher unarmed damage, weakness to cold 25%, can consume raw meat without food poisoning
Greater power: Histskin. Recover health 10x faster for 60 seconds once per day
Can get half as many colds, breathe underwater, and eat raw meat? That’s pretty useful. You can hide from people in the lake and only be a little bit worried about waterborne illnesses. Histskin could also probably help with getting kitchen burns and stuff.
The weakness to cold brings it down a bit though. I like visiting cold places. 9.5/10
Breton
Passive: Resist magic 25%
Greater power: Dragonskin. Absorb 50% of magic from hostile spells for 60 seconds once per day.
Magic isn’t real. May become useful one day though if I turn out to be wrong about that or if an eBay witch curses you. 2/10
Dark elf/Dunmer
Passive: Resist fire 50%, resist fatigue 25%
Greater power: Ancestor’s Wrath. Opponents that get too close take 8 points of fire damage per second for 60 seconds once per day
I can’t say I get attacked by fire very much in my personal day to day life but I’m sure some people do. I think setting people who touch you on fire is illegal but could become useful if you’re attacked. The ability to not get tired as fast is probably the mot useful bit. Not totally useless but also kinda niche. 7/10
High elf/Altmer
Passive: 50 extra magic, resist fatigue 25%
Greater power: Highborn. Regenerate magic 25x faster for 60 seconds once per day
Magic still isn’t real as far as I know. Again the not getting tired as fast thing is nice. Maybe you could make magic real with this and become an eBay witch. Less useful than the Dunmer powers but not totally useless. 4/10.
Imperials
Passive: Imperial luck. Imperials always find more money.
Greater power: Voice of the Emperor. Calms nearby people for 60 seconds, once per day.
You find more money and can make your friends stop arguing? This is why imperials are my favorites. Still not water breathing though. 8/10.
Khajiit
Passive: Claws do extra damage, 15 extra points of warmth
Greater power: Night Eye. Improved night vision for 60 seconds once per day
Having claws sounds inconvenient. If you live somewhere cold the extra warmth could be nice. The night vision could be good but only for one minute? Not useless but also kind of inconvenient. 3/10.
Nord
Passive: Resist frost 50%, 25 extra points of warmth
Greater power: Battle Cry. Targets flee for 30 seconds once per day
Battle cry isn’t that great but it could cause creepy people to leave you alone. Less useful than voice of the emperor though. Resisting frost and being warmer is way more useful though, especially if you live somewhere cold. 8/10.
Orc
Passive: Resist fatigue and hunger 15%, 10 extra points of warmth
Greater power: Berserker Rage. You do double damage and take half as much damage for 60 seconds once per day.
I’m not attacking anyone regularly and I don’t think most of us are. Taking the edge off of hunger and fatigue can be nice though. 4/10.
Redguard
Passive: Resist poison 50%
Greater power: Adrenaline Rush. Stamina regenerates 10x faster for 60 seconds once per day.
This is just what gym bros pumped full of vitamin infusions are like 3/10
Wood elf/Bosmer
Passive: Resist poison 50%, resist disease 50%, resist fatigue 25%
Greater power: Command animal. Make an animal an ally for 60 seconds once per day.
Less disease and you can pet so many cats. 10/10.

batboys and video games
video games I think the batboys would enjoy ♡

Dick is an animal crossing player. He played city-folk when it came out and instantly fell in love with the game. He had a pocket camp account, with a well decorated campsite that would make any player jealous. His island in new horizons is 5 stars, decorated and beautiful. He carries his switch everywhere with him.
If you play animal crossing too, he would beg you to come over to his island. If you do, he immediately throws bells, flowers and other gifts onto you.
He also plays some Minecraft, but he isn't very good. He played with Tim a couple times and died immediately. When he does play, he plays survival on peaceful mode so it's easy to stay alive. He prefers to play Minecraft with someone, so if you'll play with him and protect him, he'd definitely play more often.
He has a Roblox account that he uses every blue moon. He only plays when Damian asks (demands) that he joins him. He's surprisingly good at natural disaster survival and royal high.

Tim loves Roblox and Minecraft. He will join public Minecraft servers and absolutely be the best player there. When on Roblox, he does those really long and easy obbies, before hacking or buying admin to troll the other players.
He plays Marvel Rivals too. He isn't really a marvel fan but he enjoys it nonetheless. His tank main is Dr. Strange, duelist main is Moon Knight and strategist main is Adam Warlock. Sometimes Jason or Dick will join him. Jason will main Bucky and Dick will main Adam (if Tim isn't already Adam) Or Luna Snow.
Tim also really enjoys the pokemon games and will often play with Bart.

Jason likes a couple different genres of videogames. he likes animal crossing and plays every now and then, but he also enjoys fighting/shooting games.
I’ve personally never played COD but I feel like it would be something he would enjoy. I can also see him playing stardew valley.
whenever he has a rough day he will hop onto animal crossing or stardew valley and interact with the NPC’s. In one of his stardew saves, he has Krobus living with him.
He played Pikmin 4 when it came out and adored it, he went back and played all the other games too.
I hope this isn’t ooc!! I have been obsessed with marvel rivals lately and felt like I should write about it.

i think splatoon should have a free-for-all gamemode. a true anarchy mode you could say? could be 4 players (sounds managable) or maybe 8 players (sounds fucked). every player has a unique ink colour, there are no teams. objectives: kill eachother, survive
#score would be decided by the person's splats - the amount of times splatted. person w the biggest number wins?#would this be even playable let alone fun at all? i have no clue:]

let’s say a version of Killer has D.I.D. in your personal opinion would they go for Final Fusion or Functional Multiplicity
I don’t personally think Killer does have a version of DID. Or if he does, I think it presents more along the lines of UDD (Unspecified Dissociative Disorder) or OSDD-1A.
There’s amnesia, particularly with Stage 4, but none of them are significantly different from the other—especially the Stages. They all identify as Killer, really, just Killer in different modes—or Stages, what have you.
Considering Sans’ canonical reprogramming of his code and his undeniable conditioning by the Player, which is definitely wasn’t aware of for quite some time canonically and genuinely believed it was a choice he was making freely—even when it deeply confused and distressed him, hearing these thoughts in his head as if they aren’t his own—they’d likely be similar to a “programmed” or created system in this case.
If we go off the lens of Killer being a system and approach what we have in his canon material, I think Stage 1 is pushing for Final Fusion. Or something like it—all he wants is the life he had before he became..this, before he did all this. Before the Deal. Before Nightmare.
He wants his home, his life. He wants his brother back. He wants to be Sans again.
In his eyes, he can’t do that unless his SOUL—the Stages—are and is “fixed.” He very clearly is terrified of himself in his higher Stages—he deems himself in Stage 2 as completely untrustworthy, himself in Stage 3 a “crazy” lunatic worthy of being slain and murdered and killed.
What he becomes in Stage 4 is something he can’t even bring himself to talk about or tell anyone—not even Color. Stage 4 isn’t worthy of being acknowledged, shouldn’t even exist, in his eyes.
It comes from a place of feeling completely helpless, out of control, deep self hatred, overwhelming guilt and fear of himself and his own mind and body, and just wanting to die. Existence is almost painful for him.
I’d say for the longest, until Color joined his reasons, his cats and the slim hope of going back to “normal” is what carried him and kept him going on under Nightmare—even if he has to convince himself it’s his own choice to continue on, instead of just someone else’s Determination and will not allowing him to die.
The other Stages may very likely have very different opinions or just straight up visceral reactions to the idea of Final Fusion (Stage 3 in particular.)
I believe that Color and the souls may actually be able to help them come to a decision or an agreement on this, actually. I do truly believe that Color would never want to be rid of the souls—and their particular case, they all truly believe they’d be worse off for it.
Ignoring how Color may not physically literally survive if the souls were to ever leave or separate from him, i think he wouldn’t mentally or emotional survive it either. He’s relied on them for years, even if he wasn’t always aware of that fact.
They keep him calm, they keep kind, they help keep him stable and remind him of who he said he wanted to be, they help him maintain relationships when his own fears and emotional instability would’ve otherwise torn those all apart.
They remind him who he is, they’re there for him—without them, he’d be alone. Again. He doesn’t know who he is without them. They ensure he’s never alone, or forgotten—they never abandon him.
But more than, he loves them. And they love him. Even if some of them didn’t always.
Killer hasn’t reached what Color and the souls have, how could they? All they know is how to fear and blame and death and kill. That’s what most of them were made to do.
So do think Stage 1 at least would push for Final Fusion, or whatever equivalent the UTMV would have—at least for a while. The topic of it is likely to cause a lot of disagreement between the Stages themselves—either because of pure survival instincts and preceiving the idea as some sort of threat, or simply because they’re programmed to resist what they might perceive as “erasure”—or failure to carry out what they were made to do.

Hihi, I know you aren't looking to open commissions anytime soon, but do you have any good resources, references, and recommendations for someone wanting to get into the fandom and make their own OC to be able to integrate with the setting and eventually get art done?
^~^;;
I know very little, myself, but a friend has a passion for it and I want to indulge them in RPs, as well as yourself and various other blogs here showing me some high quality husband-quality bots
Any insight and such would be greatly appreciated!
~💖
Putting effort into your friendship, that's very sweet of you!
The best way to get into the Transformers mindset and learn something about it is to either watch one of the series/movies or read the IDW or Skybound comics. The fastest way is, of course, to watch something.
I answered an Ask with suggestions for "beginners" not that long ago which you can check out here:
If you don't mind watching stuff on YouTube, the official Transformers YouTube channel has uploaded episodes of several Transformers series. You can check out their playlists for a series that might tickle your fancy, or your friend has brought up before: https://www.youtube.com/@TransformersOfficial/playlists. Not all series are on there, unfortunately, but you can always put on a pirate hat and take to virtual sea if you don't have access to streaming services hosting these series.
If you don't have the time to watch series/movies or read comics, there is always the TFwiki which hosts info about every character and series in existence, and even does episode/issue summaries. The site may be overwhelming to dig through as a new fandom goer because there is just ssoooo much info to soak up (forty years worth!), but it can be helpful if you need to look something up.
When it comes to drawing the bots or creating your own, I made a post a week ago with two "how to draw Transformers" tutorial links that might be helpful with the creation of an OC:
Under the cut, I'll give some simple basics about the lore usually present in any TF series.
---
Transformers are a robotic race called Cybertronians from the planet Cybertron. These large robotic aliens can transform into vehicles or devices and survive on an energy source they call energon.
There are two prominent factions present on Cybertron: the Autobots and the Decepticons. As their name implies, Autobots take on the appearance of (recreational) vehicles like cars or motorcycles to blend in better on Earth (robots in disguise, da da da da daaa) while the Decepticons turn into more destructive (war) vehicles and weaponry like tanks and jets. This is usually the norm but there are some exceptions as there are Decepticons with car alt-modes. And then there are also boomboxes, cassettes and cassette players, memory sticks, and microscope alt-modes, to name a few that aren't vehicle-centered. The options are endless, as long as they serve a purpose.
Unfortunately, the two factions have been at war on Cybertron and neighboring planets for 4 million years, and have nearly depleted the planet(s) of its resources. To survive and hopefully win the war, the Autobots go on a voyage into deep space to try and find more. The Decepticons give chase, only for them all to crashland on Earth and be stuck there.
It takes centuries for them to wake from the crashlanding, but when they do, they find out Earth is an energon utopia and the Decepticons are eager to conquer the planet and take it all for themselves. The Autobots take a stance against them and try to protect Earth and its people, leading to several ties and friendships with humans (but also wobbly alliances).
---
Decide which faction your OC is part of and what their alt-mode might be and you already have a good foundation for your character.
Good luck, and have fun!

I’d love to hear any comments/headcanons you have for pre-Tarn/pre-war Damus!
Those tags about him being touch starved due in part to his Outlier powers had me in my feels 😭😭 I loved that wonderful (and angsty) analysis on him.
Hmm I'm not sure I have that many but let's see if the ones I do have end up blossoming into a more robust list or not
Like most people, I headcanon Damus having an affinity for music long before becoming Tarn; I mean, his outlier power had literally nothing to do with sound at all to begin with (even once he started being able to do it at a distance), so it seems like for Tarn to have 'music lover' as one of his big traits, he would've picked it for a reason, no? Not all parts of Tarn (TM) have to be a complete pretense
Following that, because Damus' outlier broke all electrical devices/machines he touched, he became a singer because his own voice is something he can't break and that no one can take away from him. Maybe he would've tried non-electronic instruments, but he would've gravitated towards singing more than instrumental performance regardless
Also, depending on how you headcanon Cybertronian singing to work (do any of them "breathe"/push air like humans do or are their voices entirely synthesized? Is "breathing" a special mod or does it work as a function of ventilation/cooling), being empurata'd probably could've affected Damus' singing ability since he would no longer have a face/mouth to shape his sounds. Could still sing since he does have a voice box, but I imagine that, considering Damus wasn't able to touch anyone/anything anyways, losing his hands was way less hurtful to him than losing his face.
However, since his outlier ability would make him pretty much functionally disabled on Cybertron (literally everything and everyone is machines), Damus would've had a greater appreciation for physical mediums of art/function more than the average person, I think. In a society where pretty much everything is stored on datapads, computers, etc, Damus would've been a huge pen-and-paper, art canvas, stonecarving, etc kind of guy; a big appreciator of things that can survive without an electrical connection or any machine functioning. He's basically one of those people who, in human terms, would own a lot of antiquated stuff like record players, cassette decks, CDs, etc because his outlier forced him to adapt to (and then eventually enjoy the benefits/unique traits of) physical rather than digital mediums. I imagine this trait would make Damus odd among other hobbyists, since for both anatomical reasons (they're a mechanical species) and cultural reasons (history of mechanical superiority/anti-organic tendencies), most people would probably degrade physical media as less fast, efficient, flexible, etc compared to digital. Which does kind of make it ironic that Damus later became a Decepticon, but I suppose non-electrical/mechanical doesn't necessarily equate to being organic.
On account of not gaining control of his outlier until his outlaw days with Orion and co., I imagine Damus' job opportunities would've been very limited and he would've mostly had a very poor/limiting lifestyle (which also inclined him to be more interested in Megatron's writings and eventually becoming a Decepticon). Creativity isn't running well at the moment, but probably something like waste management (like being a garbage man) or some sort of manual hauling job, although Damus appears to have just been a normal 4-wheeled car alt-mode so I'm not sure he could've/would've gotten hired for heavy manual labor stuff. Perhaps he could've been a courier like Bumblebee was pre-war?
That also begs the question of how Damus compensated for his disability. Maybe to handle electronics, he could do so as long as he wore really thick gloves or something? Probably he'd also take advantage of stuff like voice commands/text to speech on electronic devices, so I imagine Damus' life wasn't completely devoid of any technology whatsoever. Do you think he'd be able to cook food on a stove top as long as he used a pair of tongs to grab it? I bet Damus had to get really good at improvising disability aids and getting basic life functions done without touching things directly with his hands, so maybe he was a bit of a tinkerer back then as well. And now I'm imagining Damus' home being full of elaborate Rube Goldberg machines that do very basic things like turn the stove to a specific temperature and turn it off after a set interval of time klsdalfjkdls
#squiggle answers#mtmte tarn#mtmte damus#hope these are pretty interesting!#admittedly i'm almost primarily going off of his outlier and reading that as a disability in the context of a mechanical society#but yeah. damus was an arts and crafts fellow i bet. big pen and paper appreciator#maybe he like crocheted or did cross stitch or knitting before the empurata

✨CHECKPOINT!SANS MASTER POST
REFERENCE SHEET (click on it for better quality):

GENERAL INFO:
-His name originates from his ability to use checkpoints, exclusive to the determined(humans/player) in the past.
-He/him, around 4´5 (ft).
-He is not a monster nor a human, a weird hybrid of both.
-A child in the body of a man, quite literally, as sans´s body was kept as a vessel.
-1-2 years old (age subject to change in the future)
-Member of the Picturesque Heroes in the CreationVerse project!
-Half his body lacks flesh while the other even has fully functional organs inside (VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL).
BACKSTORY:
Checkpoint!Sans was born in a blank void where his AU once was. He wandered aimlessly as he had forgotten his past life. By finding the last (or maybe first) checkpoint star, he was granted total use of them in any universe, and an infinite source of positivity and curiosity. He now wanders the multiverse with no particular goal, spreading kindness and silliness to whoever he meets.
IN BATTLE:
-Checkpoint is a pacifist and a true neutral, so he´s hardly seen fighting or even attacking.
-Checkpoint has begun to rely on Checkpoint!Gaster and Alphys to defend him instead of doing it himself (just like a little kid hides behind their parent´s legs).
-He CAN use magic, but by instinct most of the time and not willingly.
-He has to be induced in extreme fear or provoked hard for his powers to shine... And his instincts to take control.
-When on "attack mode", the essence of Sans´s and Frisk´s soul (now merged into one and working as building blocks for checkpoint) act up by the fight or flight instinct of survival, and together they make Checkpoint a total killing machine worth fearing, combining sheer power and high battle IQ.

-Has the whole "sans attacks kit" and the fanon concept of humans been able to summon knives, the only true changes are his blasters, now working in a more industrial way, and his usual checkpoint star been replaced by his arrow shaped soul, plus how its hard to snap him out of this state.
EXTRA FACTS:
-Checkpoint´s origins come from a literal 20 yo jacket i own, which he uses. I just thought doing a sans with it would be silly. Look where are we now.
-His gloves were originally yellow, and his boots brown.
-Yes i know his jacket lacks a working zip.
-His turtle neck was ofc influenced by the fanon sans, but i like clothes that hide necks like scarfs and so on man let me be.
-The checkpoint star (and soul in attack mode)in his chest works similar to Killer!Sans´s soul, but its separate from his body and clothes and works like any other checkpoint star.
COMICS:
UnderTale: True Reset prologue
ANIMATIONS:
Checkpoint!Sans average interaction
Checkpoint eats an apple and explodes

I do wonder. Judging by your previous answered question about Deimos' train of thought...does he Actually care about Ludek? Does he like him? Is he just another useful pawn like Vannatir was in the past?
Ohh man, asking the hard hitting questions! For a while I actually did think that Deimos just sees Ludek as a useful pawn. ( ;____; ) Ludek is an incredibly strong Fighter and there have been battles where Ludek stepped in to protect Deimos specifically. Like a bodyguard. Deimos really fears losing that protection, so he is careful with Ludek's feelings.
And ya know, Ludek being a rich noble is also a nice way to get back to the luxurious lifestyle that Deimos is so used to. Very useful. >D
However, during the Denholm ball there was a sincerity towards Ludek that Deimos actually regretted afterwards. That night Deimos felt so much like himself again. And while he had already been planning to seduce Ludek, somehow the feeling became far too real by the time they were alone together. Maybe it's because Deimos felt safe that night?
Deimos has been in survival mode this entire campaign so far. Already in session 4 his warlock patron Vannatir found Deimos again and there was a real risk that Deimos was going to be whisked away from the party/campaign as a player character. But thankfully Deimos managed to convince Vannatir that his growth in powers together with this group will only benefit Vannatir as well. Vannatir agreed but did give Deimos a mission that will prove the party's capabilities when Deimos sees them as ready.
So I think the main problem is that Deimos can't afford to be sincere with Ludek. The two of them meeting now is just the worst timing.

The Pros and (Many) Cons of Multiversus
I had originally written this list out on Discord, but a recent post on Twitter made me decide to post it here. The post in question:

And with that out of the way...
THE PROS:
So yeah… The Pros and Cons of MultiVersus
PROS: -Large roster of characters from various cartoons, movies and comics -Easy to pick up and play -there is a single player "Rifts" mode -Free to play…
CRACKS KNUCKLES
CONS:
-…is rather MISLEADING to put it very mildly. While it is free to play the game, you STILL have to pay for many things, like the Battlepass, banners, emotes, variants of the characters, even TAUNTS. IF you had an issue with what Tecmo did with DOA and its microtransactions, then what WB has is, essentially, an even more sinister issue. -The in game currency, Gleanium, can only be obtained two ways: either by playing the game and earning it or by buying it. Which would not be an issue if it wasn't for the fact that earning Gleanium via gameplay will take a MASSIVE amount of game playing, and even then the rewards are small at best. Add to that the cost of certain fighters if you opt to use Gleanium instead of the other Fighter Currency and you will probably punch a window in frustration: most of the Variants will cost around 500, while others will be considerably more. For example, the Variant of Black Adam based on the movie featuring Dwayne Johnson? 2000 Gleanium (equal to 20 bucks)
I barely tolerated that ego trip of a movie why the hell do I need to spend 20 bucks on him, fuck its not even his voice!! (And if it was his voice, they probably would have charged us 4000. And then there are the really, REALLY ultra rare Variants, which can only be obtained through certain events by earning certain credits (obtained through either Gleanium or event tied currency) and they can be even more expensive. The current event has at least, from my own recollection, 4 Elusive Variants. These can only be obtained by trading in 6 Icicles. If you opt to use Gleanium to get an Icicle, each of these cost 500. So yes, $30 for 1 character. And if you think that is bad, wait until you see how many Variants Bugs Bunny and Reindog have. -Certain fighters, even after the many patches are still unbalanced. The hit box on Banana Guard, for example, is RIDICULOUS. Just trust me on this. -The entire game is ONLINE ONLY. Even the single player Rifts mode. And if you want 100% completion of a Rift node, you HAVE to beat all of it with a friend. While the game's focus is on multiplayer gaming, a game that has a single player mode should not require two people to unlock everything. And while we are talking about Rifts… -The highest difficulty level for a Rift, Looney, is possibly the worst example of Fake Difficulty for many gamers, even very skilled ones. Even if all the Gems you have are at the highest level, the game's damage output favors the CPU over you; you will do less damage, they will do way more, they WILL have priority and will chain combos very quickly. The only POSSIBLE way to survive is if you play with a friend and even then, that is not a guarantee of a win. To give you an example of how utterly broken Looney is, look no further than the "Crisis in Townsville" Rift from Season 2. It's very unforgivable, certain objectives are almost nigh impossible on your own and the boss fight...lets just say I never finished it on Looney.
youtube
-NO ARCADE MODE. Say what you want about Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2 (and its actually a pretty damn good game even though it does not get the same attention as MVS) it actually has an Arcade mode and single player experience, along with probably a better boss roster. (Was ANYONE expecting Sartana of the Dead?) Plus there are better rewards for its single player story mode as you play through it. -Certain Daily and Weekly Goals are a BITCH to complete, especially the ones that require you to play in PvP battles. It's especially bad now in this current iteration where "Wacky Weekend" exists. Its hard to complete the goal "Do Damage in Event Que" when one of the potential matches you can play is Volleyball. -Depending on which platform you play, the online can be either really good or "fuck you" levels. And there are many instances where a player will either quit mid match, screwing you over.
There is probably a LOT more I missed but I am not gonna write an entire fucking essay. My point is that the game has a lot more potential but there are just so many things that hold it back.
If there is one extra positive though, I would say its the tie in comics. They're pretty fun to read. And when was the last time you read a comic that starts off with Wonder Woman punching the FUCK out of the Wicked Witch of the West? Ok that, and Mythic Vista Raven and Velma.

Science-fiction visual novel Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on February 20, 2025, publisher Astrolabe Games and developer Space Colony Studios announced. It will feature English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.
The companies also unveiled the new “Full-Color Mode,” which makes the game playable in full color. An update for the previously released demo featuring this new mode is available now for PlayStation 5 and PC, and will launch for Switch on September 19.
As previously announced, PM Studios and Meridiem Games will publish physical editions of Stories from Sol: The-Gun Dog in North America and Europe, respectively. The physical edition will be available for PlayStation 5 in North America, and for PlayStation 5 and Switch in Europe.
Here is an overview of the game, via Astrolabe Games:
About
War is over. War is just beginning. Planetary Calendar 214. Four years have passed since the end of the Solar War. Our protagonist, scarred from the loss of his crewmates in the war, is re-assigned to the Jovian patrol ship Gun-Dog as it’s dispatched with orders to investigate mysterious signals coming from the edge of Jovian Space. Unknown to the Gun-Dog’s crew, a new danger looms deep in the ocean of stars, threatening not just the Gun-Dog but all her crew. Take on the role of the Gun-Dog’s security officer as you attempt to save the ship from an unknown assailant whilst navigating the paranoia, conspiracies and vendettas that break out amongst the crew. As camaraderie falls apart can you overcome the challenges that await?
The Game: A Love Letter to Retro Anime and 80s Science-Fiction
Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is a visual novel adventure in the spirit of classic PC-9800 titles. Featuring a vintage green screen aesthetic, Space Colony Studios strives to create an “era-accurate” game that exudes retro vibes in every way, from the text to the visual effects. As the Jovian patrol ship sails into the darkness among the stars, the players will feel like they are on an adventure in an 80s Sci-Fi as they solve the mystery they find themselves in.
The Story: A New Threat Emerges From the Void
Humans have long since freed themselves from the grasp of gravity, but they are still unable to escape the hold of war. It’s year 214 of the Planetary Calendar. Four years have passed since the end of the Solar War and an uneasy peace persists throughout the solar system. The Jovian patrol ship Gun-Dog is sent on a reconnaissance mission to investigate mysterious signals coming from the edge of Jovian space. What starts as a routine assignment quickly escalates into a battle for survival as an unknown threat terrorises the crew.
The Gameplay: Investigate. Interact. Analyze. Advance.
Utilizing traditional point-and-click adventure mechanics, during your time on the Gun-Dog, you can navigate various locations on the ship, examine the details of the richly realized backgrounds or talk with the different crew members on board. You will need to listen closely to the characters’ words to reveal important clues or duplicitous intentions and keep your eyes peeled for key items and interactive elements in the backgrounds that you can use to advance the story.
The Characters: Get on Board With the Crew of the Gun-Dog!
All stories are about people and the cast of The Gun-Dog bring the story to life, so much so that their charm and charisma convinced the team at Astrolabe Games to board the Gun-Dog and sign up to be the publisher. From the elegant yet distant Captain Bartermews, to the bubbly Lieutenant Commander Cassandra Quinn, to the assertive and domineering Chief Mackenzie Cathays, The Gun-Dog features an extensive cast of characters for you to meet. Each crew member has a distinct personality, role and history. Get to know them and their quirks and decide whether to work with or against them to unravel the mystery that lies at the story’s heart.
The Place: Adventure in an Entirely Explorable Ship!
The main stage of the first installment in the Stories from Sol series, as the Jovian patrol ship Gun-Dog heads into deep space it serves as the setting for the game’s story. It has been exhaustively realized. Rich and evocative descriptions of the ship, including the constant rumble of the engine room, the bustle of the bridge, the silence of space pair with an extensive range of scenes that have been meticulously designed and animated in detail to deliver an immersive experience. Inspired by the best that anime has to offer the ship even features “Armored Frames,” mechanized, human shaped, weapons of war.

I hope this doesn’t come across as weird but do you have lore about mori I can read??? I absolutely love your wol …. he looks so wet and pathetic and i would love to read about him
this is not weird at all i love any excuse to talk abt my loser conman necromancer catboy!! i should consolidate all the lore/facts/history about him at some point since theyre scattered across like 4 different platforms + documents but you can find a rundown of his deal on his carrd!
im gonna put a quick bullet list for his timeline pre-arr under a read more. it's basically summarized in the carrd if you dont wanna read all that but i'll go into slight more detail here. ty for letting me rambleee <33
-mori (not his real name) was born as the 13th child and first son of a doman hyuran priest (japanese) and keeper miqote shaman (korean). theres a lot of cultural baggage in how his dad courted his mother but he married her for her spiritual powers (echo). they lived in a really remote town in othard that was basically built around their family shrine.
-his echo is so oversensitive that it's basically on all the time. his mom, who was severely mentally and physically ill, couldn't deal with him as an extremely difficult infant and so often drugged him into sleep out of fear of his father. he found out anyway when mori was taken from her care for training.
-since religion is outlawed in garlean territories, his dad took on a lot of debt to bribe officials into allowing them to keep the shrine. there was a lot of politics behind this but eventually the pressure mounted. this included sending some of his sisters away for the war effort, making a public spectacle of their family, and eventually, a public execution of his parents.
-he became head of the house despite being way too young for that sort of role and inherited his dad's debts. he plotted his revenge by offering to sell their shrine and all the artifacts within to the various illicit organizations that lent his dad the money in the first place (which was of great interest to them for either cultural reasons or its aetheric properties). once he had them all in the shrine, he evacuated his family and burnt it down, killing a number of major players in those groups. the incident devastated the trees in the area and the town eventually was abandoned.
-sidebar, this is why he's called 'memento mori'. the garlean government censored talks of what actually happened, resulting in the native residents referring to the incident as 'the forest' aka 'mori' and so garleans who remembered it would remind each other of who he was by asking each other 'memento (remember) mori (the forest)?'
-with the money he stole from those groups he evacuated what little remained of his family to eorzea and they landed in the black shroud. before the fall of dalamud, some surviving members of said various illicit organizations managed to find him, but he managed to escape by falling into a gelmorran ruin. unfortunately that happened to be the palace of the dead and he ended up trapped there until the end of arr/heavensward
-while he's in the potd he basically becomes the jesse to nybeth's walter white LOL the reason nybeth looks like a freaky floaty monster when you reach floor 100 in potd is because mori messed with his necromancy experiments in his last (and successful) escape attempt.
-also while he's there he entered like a 5-6 year period of survival mode which means he didnt eat/sleep well and was constantly paranoid + in the dark, something that he just pretends didnt happen at all once he gets out. combination of stress, poor eating, and aetheric fuckery in potd results in him 'losing color' in his hair and eyes (which were blue-tinted before). he never gets these back even when he makes it out (and he unfortunately had to leave edda behind. which sucked because she was basically a little sister to him)
-when he gets out of potd, he finds out that most of his family scattered to the winds. some remain in eorzea but under the protection of various groups with the muscle for it (eg. lotti, who is a hearer in the conjurer's guild and beni, who is a minor scion). kan-e-senna and minfilia manage to find a way to suppress his echo through a seal so he can actually live among people for the first time in his life. unfortunately, his sisters have since figured out that the reason they're being persecuted by various scary guys is because of him so they're really upset with him, especially because they assumed he ran away from the responsibility five/six years ago
from here on he figures out how to apply his time with nybeth in the overworld to scam the bereaved by botching resurrections order to pay off that debt he incurred. he does still return back to potd because part of his necromancy requires herbs from the bottommost floors but overall he avoids his family while hes doing illegal shit. he's not an actual warrior of light despite the echo because he simply does not have the moral principles for it. and also god would sooner turn her gaze from him than choose him as a champion LMFAO

So this is a fully random question, with a fair amount of context.
You see, I wanted to try making a video game, and I have some uh.... high ambitions. Each game is set in the capital of a nation called Ashfell, Sparkway City. All are set as different stories within the city, some centering around the Starlight Square (a small town built within the city that's all centering around a single franchised entity: for any world building fans, I'm adding this here, it interacts with the rest of the city quite well since they funnel that money back into the local economy via local sourcing. Plus it's an experiment to build more jobs by zoning a large city into microtowns with free housing and ease of getting jobs in the location), some centering around the concept of life and death, and more. I have 4 games I want to make, each one having different mechanics and styles.
Most of the games will have queer elements as well. Also populated by humans and furries.
Game 1: Nexus (title in progress)
This game is a 3D open world game, set around depression as a whole. It would have survival and psychological horror elements in it, especially after dying in the game a few times. Most early deaths would be self inflicted.
Things to note: there may be more than one game mode involved. Inspired by some free roam horror games (can't think of any)
Game 2: Dream Guardian
This game is a Metroidvania, inspired by Hollow Knight in some design choices. Weapons, spells, and traversing abilities unlockable of course. Follow the main character as she goes on quests to defeat evil throughout Sparkway City!
Things to note: an optional mechanic may be added that may cause psychological damage to the player. The mechanic will be OFF by default, and the player will have to go through 3 layers of "are you sure" before turning it on.
Game 3: Rhythm game (title in progress)
Starring the audition attempts of Trixie and the Tricks (a fully queer band trio) across Sparkway City as they try to get a permanent gig to perform with, this game is based on Guitar Hero and Rhythm Heaven Fever, lol.
Things to note: either I'll have to compose the music myself or someone may have to help here...
Game 4: Carved (title in progress)
A survival horror game that starts off nice enough, but quickly goes south as you have to escape the area you spent your whole life in. Inspired in design by Into the Pit. Yes I watched a playthrough, hush. The style fits what I'd be going with.
I'm working on the game design document for the four as it is, don't worry about it
