Im REALLY loving how they made Odin a “manipulative mob boss” type, someone who rules with psychological presence, charisma rather than raw power and might.

A breath of fresh air compared to like… 99% “big fellas” in the series (2/3 of this group included) plus perfect sense Atreus would “vibe more” with him, since he’s never really been one for muscle talk.

I had a realization about Modi.

When you first go to Asgard as Atreus and meet Sif, she's angry at you, due to what you did to Modi. Which tells you she resented Atreus for what he did.

When you meet Thrud, she tells you no one liked Modi and that they're better off without him and actively tries to be friends with you, which at least tells you she didn't resent Atreus despite him needlessly killing her brother.

When you work with Thor the first time and he pins you to the wall with Mjolnir, he starts with "Modi had some problems." That and the first battle with Kratos tells you that Modi was regarded lowly even by Thor and Thor refuses to acknowledge his own role in Modi's death.

When you meet Sif again with Thrud, she angrily scolds Thrud and says that she shouldn't be with Atreus because of "What his father did." not "What he and his father did.".

and in Ragnarok, when you meet Thrud again, she says "You're a killer just like your father and you're here to kill us all." implying that she thought he wasn't a killer.

All of these facts point to one conclusion:

They never told Thrud what happened to her brother.

She thinks both her brothers died in battle. She doesn't know what Thor did.

Which makes sense, but also ...... that's fucked up.

I love how Kratos speaks in Shakespearean/fantasy style while the Norse Gods speak like Americans/normal people.

After a while, she had found the perfect spot.

It was in a small clearing, where the lush green forest surrounded the river, with the only open ends being where it cuts through. With jagged and rough rocks emerging out of the golden sand and yellow dandelions being speckled throughout the surrounding grass, basking in the light of the sun’s radiant rays. It was beautiful, she’d have to take Atreus with her when he's feeling better. 

He’d enjoy the sight and probably sit near a tree sketching his surroundings, refusing to let her see it until it was absolutely perfect. He would insist that she should be somewhere in front of him, so he could be certain that she wouldn't take a peek at it before his masterpiece was complete. When she complied with his request and waited for her son to finish, she always seemed to end up in it.

It made him a little annoyed when she would ask him if that was her, he would puff out his cheeks and pout his lip a little bit, with a grumble he'd say “Oh course it’s you, who else would it be mother.” After his words were said, she'd put his journal down to the side, give him a warm smile and scoop him up in her arms to kiss his chubby cheeks, and thank him for making her so beautiful, thank him for being such a wonderful artist. As he would giggle and insist that he didn't make her beautiful, she just is.

When Atreus first saw you he literally had a double take, sure Angrboda was the first Giant he had met, but you were the first Giant he had seen. 

With Atreus being approximately 5’6 and you being about 9’4 he was about waist height for you when you guys first met. 

Once he decided he needed to travel to find the rest of the Giants, you were quick to offer to join him, it was only fair he had someone to accompany him, plus you were a giant so it’s not like you didn’t want to help him find other people like you. 

And this was beside the fact you had grown a liking to him, maybe a bit more than just a liking but you refused to admit it

Atreus confessed first, it was probably at some cool event somewhere around the world where you found yourself staying. 

The older you guys got the more he realized how much he cared about you, whether you guys were traveling and something happened on the road or you guys had settled for a few days in a community. 

He started noticing more and more how people were infatuated with you, how he was infatuated with you. 

The relationship started slow, holding hands, sleeping next to each other, and the like. Don’t get me wrong, you guys were really close before but actually being established with each other that way was nice. 

You had watched him grow into a strong young man, and he watched you grow in turn. Still towering over him with that smug grin on your face.

Atreus is the little spoon, I mean come on that's kinda obvious.

Will 100% tell you to get behind him in a fight, wanting to make absolutely sure you’re okay. 

Loves how knowledgeable you are about things, plants, wildlife, and also the way you absorb knowledge like a sponge, remembering things people told you like they were standing there telling them to you again now. 

All in all, he’s a very loving partner, worships you like the most beautiful being in all the realms, and is constantly being reminded every day how lucky he is to have you on this journey with him, seeing things never imaginable. 

He also hopes to one day settle down with you, preferably back in Jotunnheim surrounded by more giants, while being able to visit his father and see his friends throughout the realms.
