finally put thought into it instead of only considering Convenience and Speed. whodve thunk
(if you need convenience you simply invent a CSP material, reassign all of your hotkeys, memorize the entire keyboard, make custom brushes, sort thru thousands of brushes and categorize them all, and rearrange the workspace 6 times. which of course is instant /j)

He wanted to move there. To Berlin. He had someone there. He told me. And he wanted to leave me and Itai here and go to Berlin and make a new life. And he went to get a room in a hotel, and, uh, and then another car hit him on his way there.

Oh shit what has KGLW done? or is it just a taste thing
it's just a taste thing. basically none of their new material since eric moore left in 2020 has been very interesting to me with the exception of ice v. might still catch them live when they play red rocks on my birthday next year though

26. Albania – Duje
This song starts strong, with that dramatic vocal call, serving to grab the listener’s attention, but also giving Albina a chance to show of her impressive voice right off the bat. I like the overall sound of this one, it’s got that typical Balkan style, something we’d be missing otherwise this year, and plenty of melodrama and intensity, although I will say that considering how much I usually go in for that, this one hasn’t grabbed me as much as it could.
Duje tells the tale of a family falling apart, and is a plea for the parents to stay together – Albina bringing her own family along to deliver this message about the importance of family hammers it home even more. Albina herself is a great performer, she sells the passion of this one physically and vocally, but, while I think her family do a decent job, it can be a bit awkward at points in live performances seeing her put everything into it while they’re rather flat behind her. On the other hand, seeing them interact on stage definitely makes for an interesting performance. All in all, I like this one.
