Scenario: America has the chance to elect its first female president, and everyone's excited about it. But despite having strong qualifications, a likable VP choice, and the lead in the polls for most of her campaign… she still loses to a fascist hatemonger who ruins everything he touches, all because many of the people who said they'd vote for her, didn't because they assumed she'd win anyway.

Sound familiar? 2024 could be 2016 all over again if we get complacent. Polls aren't votes. Make sure you're registered, and don't take some fly-by-night website's word for it: check with your local election commission, and then plan how you'll get to your local polling place to vote for Harris/Walz.

This election really is for all the marbles… and we're the marbles. The worst thing you could do this November is warm the couch assuming other people will do the work of democracy for you.
