So long as the other option is a woman, America has no problem voting a felon into office

As my last post for the night, I just want to ask everyone pointing fingers to remember who is to blame for this. It's every person who voted for Trump because they would rather have a felon rapist as president than a black educated woman.
Remember, it's the openly racist white people who voted for him. The men in this country who were fed man-o-sphere bullshit on Facebook, YouTube, tiktok, Twitter, etc. and decides to let their misogyny run wild who voted for him. The 1%ers who want more tax cuts wh voted for him.
That's who is to blame.
I would preach about trying to reeducate the men and certain white people in this country but I won't. Because, time and time again they've shown that they do not care about the rest of us. They would rather hurt themselves with their votes if it means that the people they hate suffer too.

america is truly fucked for anyone who isnt a rich white man. i hope everyone who voted for them realizes this and is first to deal with the consequences of their actions.
trump will not save our economy. what trump will do is terrifying for women, bipoc communities, lgbtq+ people, climate change activists, low income families, immigrants, and more. women turning to the 4b movement is very valid and i suggest looking into it.
his election combined with the most conservative scotus the us has had in a while and a majority conservative house AND senate is a war on americas minorities. the same people who built this country.
this doesnt affect just us. it affects the world. it affects the animals and the environment.
the fact that america chose a convicted felon, a rapist, a man who has made it perfectly clear he plans to restrict rights, is telling. the fact that america would rather have donald trump as president rather than a far more qualified black woman is very telling.
imagine trading your wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, all for lower grocery prices. and those "lower grocery prices" never come because trump has no intention of fixing the economy. he wants the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer.
trump plans on cutting education funding, banning books, enforcing prolife policies, and more. the next few years will be hellish for minorities and i hate that america has ever decided to reelect this man.
his voters are sheep. they vote simply because of religion, lack of education, ignorance, or just hate. funny thing is, if Jesus were alive today, he would absolutely hate trump. love over hate. love always wins.
the next few years will be hellish and im in genuine disbelief at how stupid an entire nation can be.

I have a lot of strong emotions right now, and I need to say how disgusted I am with America. I’m embarrassed and ashamed to call myself an American. The country has chosen to support someone who has openly displayed authoritarian tendencies, and that brings disturbing consequences—whether people want to believe it or not. Over 80% of his former staff warned us that he leans toward fascism. And yet, over half of the country decided to vote for a convicted felon, a man found liable for sexual assault—a hostile, hateful, bigoted, and senile figure. Throughout his campaign, he never provided real, detailed policy answers, just surface-level responses while avoiding hard questions. Leading economists have warned that electing Donald Trump puts the country on a path to recession.
This isn’t the land of the free. By siding with Trump, we are essentially throwing away the values of our Constitution and flag. The ideals I hold—freedom, liberty, and justice—no longer align with America’s values, unless you are a cis, white, Christian male. People have ignored clear facts, chalking them up as lies despite evidence easily available to anyone who looks.
As for consequences, when the cost of goods skyrockets, that’s on those who supported him. When Medicare benefits get cut, when the disabled lose Social Security income, that’s on them, too. When women are criminalized for miscarriages or forced to carry pregnancies resulting from rape—and when the rapists even gain parental rights—that’s on them. When education funding is slashed, it’s a direct consequence of this choice. It’s heartbreaking that people would rather risk all this than support an educated woman of mixed heritage as president. The strong economy Trump once took credit for was largely inherited from Obama; this time, we’ll feel the fallout much more directly. This vote has consequences, and those who supported it are going to have to face them. Americans deserve better.
