how would you describe thor and loki’s dynamic to someone who has never seen the movies?

Narratively co-dependent sibling rivalry that makes Cain and Abel's rivalry pale in comparison. They also say "BROTHA" a lot.

Thor's basically Mufasa/He-Man/SkekUng, and Loki's basically Scar/Skeletor/SkekSil.

Always a difficult question (and I tend to try to avoid known squicks from whoever's asking). And lol, I went to see replies to comments on my inbox.

I think you'd enjoy this Loki and Hela team-up oneshot.

This one has a happy ending but it's quite angsty on Loki's part (and it doesn't get to bad points; but it could have).

There's this fic, though not my favorite, I found very enjoyable for xenobiology reasons and because the author made Loki act mean and bitchy as a patient, which is accurate. Rather than the little waif he's made out to be in other Loki recovery fics. The alien biology is very detailed and well thought of. If you like speculative xenobiology, you'll enjoy this.

I love Lise's fics. I'm that freak that loves vivisection stuff, so I especially enjoy "The Vivisection Tango." I love shit where one character wants to vivisect the other.

There's a VERY fucked up Doomki fic based on Latverian Prometheus that haunts me, but it is not for the faint of heart, so I'm not posting it xD I feel weird saying I think about it often.

On a softer Valki note, I enjoyed this fic:

what do you think loki’s biggest fear is? (if not *the* biggest, one of the biggest.)

Losing those he loves (e.g. Thor, Frigga) is a far greater fear for Loki than dying, being alone, or abandoned. He couldn't bear to lose Thor, and so handed the Tesseract to Thanos and likely attacked Thanos knowing he'd die (to keep it balanced). He was also willing to die just to avenge Frigga. Loki has a long history of dying for his loved ones to either avenge them or protect them. Loki would do ANYTHING to keep them from harm.

In respect to Frigga, I like thinking about how it's a reversal of the whole "mother willing to die/sacrifice for her children" when it's an adoptive child doing the sacrificing instead. IDK, it fucks me up to think about that. There's something there but I can't put words to it.

lise, help, I've been looking for a loki fic of yours where loki got himself hurt and tried to refuse thor's help while thor insisted on helping loki - the fic started with loki getting himself impaled by a pole and then thor arrived, loki took the pole out before thor could stop him, and he woke up under thor's care. the summary goes along the line of "thor is about done watching loki get hurt" if memory serves me right. but I do remember reading it from you, but can't remember if it's also on your ao3 or if it's Tumblr-only fic. I've been having problem trying to find it for some time now. I know you're not as active in the mcu fandom currently, though I feel like drifting myself back into the loki pit, precisely your loki fics, and I kind of miss this one particular work of yours a lot :)

what are your top 10 most memorable Bayern matches?

1. Bayern 6-0 Schalke (2023): i have to include this because i was there and it was very very special, will never forget it <3 thomas opening the scoring and then us winning 6-0 in the middle of one of our worst stretches that i've ever seen... special.

2. 8-2, i mean, come on. that was also RIGHT as i was starting to watch live regularly again after not being able to as much for a few years and it really drew me fully back in

3. 2012 ucl final. absolutely devastating. that was right around when i first got into bayern and i still don't like to think about it

4. not one match, but the 7-0 win over barca in 2013. it was impossible for me to watch bayern live in the ucl at that time (as i was in school) but i love those matches i love rewatching them

5. bayern 4-0 stuttgart (2021) this is a completely random one but i will never ever forget it, phonzy getting the red in like the 10th minute and then us scoring 4 goals. right around when i started posting on bayernblr <3 tail end of the hansi era, which was flawed but still probably my favorite recent era to watch, his football with us was so much fun

6. bayern 5-1 wolfsburg (2015) i mean. 5 goals 9 minutes. incredible incredible scenes. will never get old.

7. villarreal 1-0 bayern (2022) i think there are a lot of matches you can point to in the past few years and be like that's where we went wrong, and the psg match the previous year also probably deserves to be on this list, but this one really, really hurt. i think you all know that i think we've not been all that good since 2021 but this one... we should've won. we should have gone to the semis that year. flaws and all. i think a lot of things could have been different if we had won this match.

8. köln 1-2 bayern (2023) very very recent but. one of the most insane football viewing experiences i've ever had. i will never forget how i felt when jamal scored that goal. my heartrate did something absolutely insane that day

9. 2013 ucl final: served my interests soooo much on so many levels. i dream of the day we get an all german final again. That robben goal (i miss him). the high of getting revenge for the previous year. they just don't give us narratives like that anymore

10. gladbach 0-5 bayern (2021) i mean. this was insanity. this was the first time i was like ohhh there is a mentality hole in this team and that is a Problem. set the scene for a lot of the issues of the nagelsmann era. hopefully we are coming out of that a bit? still. that complete and utter collapse was something

Şimdi sadece jetler geliyor, iki konser eşlik ediyor. Eskiden şehir küçük olduğundan olsa gerek herkes 19 mayısı yaşardı.

Bayram olmasının yanında 19 mayıs annemin yazın gelişi olarak gördüğü tarihtir. 2013 yılına kadar sobalı bir gecekonduda oturduk. 19 mayıs sobanın kaldırılıp "bahar temizliği"nin başladığı tarihtir. Halı yıkama, battaniyeleri çiğneme, yatak yorgan havalandırma, yün ditme, boya, badana, mutfak dolaplarının dökümü... Ve bizler de yardımcı olarak annemin peşinde. Seviyordum. Terasta halı yıkamak, battaniyeyi çiğneyerek yıkamak. Tam o sırada 19 mayıs etkinlikleri. Yaz gelmiş. Bahçedeki erik ağacı yeşermiş. Güzel ve mutlu.

Haftaya 19 mayıs ve bahar temizliğine niyetim var.

Geçen haftaki ruhsal baskıyı atlattım diyebilirim. El titremesi ve sinir geçti. Çünkü oğlana bakması için ananesini çağırdık. Puahahahah. Canım oğlum. 2 yaş çılgınlıkların beni çıldırtıyor.

Son gün AYM başvurumu verdim. Sayfa sınırlaması varmış başvuruda. 10 sayfa ek açıklama oluyormuş. Ben yazmışım 28 sayfa. Yazdıklarımı özet geçmek çok zorladı beni. Bir şekilde son ana yetişti. Bekleyelim 5 sene sonra karar çıkar. Sonra da AİHM'e gideriz, o da 5 sene sürer. 45 yaşımızda hükümetle dostane çözüm yaşarız gibime geliyor. O zaman avukat sercoya devam.

Kiracımız 1 haziranda çıkıyor. Ofisime geçiyorum. Annem de o süreye kadar toparlarsa allahın izniyle, 8-5 ofisimde çalışmaya devam. En çok istediğim şey. :DD

Kuran almadılar içeriye sebep ne biliyor musun sayın defter: arapça okumayı bilen memur yokmuş. o zamanlar daha yaratıcı küfürlerim vardı. Şimdi klasik. Arkadaşlarla bir film hikayesi oluşturmak istemiştik. Leyla diye bir göçmenin yaşadığı türk hakimlerini anlatan, gerçek hikayelerle ilerleyen, ama kesinlikle kurgusal olan bir hikaye. Baş gardiyan bu hikayeyi okuyunca darbe planı olabilir diye almıştı. Bu şaka değil bu arada. Cidden aldı adam, okuyup geri getirdi. puahahahahhahah...

Harika birisiydi titrek nejdet. o günlerin komik anlarını hatırlamam gerekiyor. yoksa sıkıntısı büyük.

It is best known as Denmark's winning entry at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden. Several I didn't see at the time but in repeats but even as repeats they made me feel a lot.

They don't go in a specific order but I put them from most recent to oldest

1. Bayern vs Köln 27/5/2023: it is very recent but I think it is really a moment that will live forever in the collective consciousness, most if not all of us really thought that the league was lost, after 10 years and seeing that goal of Bambi, waiting for the result in Dortmund, the explosion of happiness of everyone, I really cried a lot, I did not believe it, I really think it was one of the most magical matches of the club.

2. Bayern vs PSG 7/4/2021: the end of the Flick era, one of the most beautiful ones but that the fall was a resounding one for many different factors, a game that could have been more and the result was frustrating especially for losing against a team like that and against someone as annoying as N*ymar, I also think it was a turning point for the club.

3. Bayern vs Barcelona 14/8/2020 : it's a bit funny how often that match is remembered more than the final itself, but it is an iconic result, not only for the club but for the history of football in general, the goals kept coming and one could only wonder is that they are going to end? A match that made us puff out our chests with pride showing the overwhelming power of the team, simply incredible.

4. Bayern vs Hoffenheim 29/2/2020 : a match that despite winning 6-0 I think what was really memorable was the performance of the players, coach and management asking for respect to the fans and the solidarity protest with the Hoffenheim players in the last 15 minutes, the fact that the whole team scolds the fans is not something that happens often and is really something that surprises.

5. Bayern vs Wolfsburg 22/9/15: of this one is simply iconic and historical those 5 goals in 9 minutes by Lewy, there is nothing more to say a football milestone

6. Bayern vs Dortmund 25/5/2013 : the most incredible, spectacular and iconic champions final of the last 10 years and I don't care if someone says it's not, because they lie, after the animic blow that 2012 was for the team that final will always be the holy grail, I love the 2019/20 season but is that 2012/13 is something different, that match, even from the previous show was something spectacular, exalting all the senses, simply a marvel.

7. Bayern vs Chelsea 19/5/2012 : the game that was the breaking point of the team, with nothing in their hands, reaching that final at home and losing it in an incredible way despite that incredible goal by Thomas, but despite being very painful it was an important point for the club and what it is now, that generation was golden and turned the pain into energy to create a revolution of the club, create a fearsome and overwhelming giant. Whenever I think about that before being what the club is now some tears come to my eyes from seeing what a team was creating little by little , stone by stone.

8. Bayern vs Inter Milan 5/22/2010: the final of the UCL, despite being completely defeated, I think it was an incredible game more than anything else for what it represented, the team came with the illusion of winning a treble, and although they did not win the Champions League I think from that game you could see the foundations of what would become the era of modern Bayern.

9. Bayern vs Lyon 27/4/2010 : UCL semifinal , Ivica makes a hattrick, is a match that I would pay to have seen it live, it was a magical match, that hattrick of Ivica was vibrant, I was very excited and that was a replay, Ivica I think he is not remembered as much as other players but personally I love watching replays of his games, he was an incredible striker.

10. Bayern vs Dortmund 12/9/2009 : this one has more of an emotional value from Thommi because it was his first Klassiker where he scored his first goal in Bundesliga and also his first brace and at the home of the bees, I am very excited to see that game no matter how many times I watch it because I always find it amazing how talented Thomas has always been.

Connie Inge-Lise Nielsen (born 3 July 1965) is a Danish actress. She has starred as Lucilla in the film Gladiator (2000) and as Hippolyta in the DC Extended Universe, beginning with Wonder Woman (2017).

She has also starred in films such as Soldier (1998), Mission to Mars (2000), One Hour Photo (2002), Basic (2003), The Hunted (2003), The Ice Harvest (2005), Nymphomaniac (2013), 3 Days to Kill (2014), Inheritance (2020), and Nobody (2021).

She also had roles in the NBC crime drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2006), the Starz political drama series Boss (2011–2012), the Fox crime thriller series The Following (2014), the TNT limited drama series I Am the Night (2019) and starred in the Channel 4 drama series Close to Me in 2021.

Enver Ören, 10 Şubat 1939’da Denizli’nin Honaz ilçesinde dünyaya geldi. Babası Nazif efendi, annesi ise Melike hanımdı. 22 Şubat 2013’de İstanbul’da vefât etti. Kabri, Eyüp Sultan Mezarlığındaki aile kabristanındadır. İlk ve orta tahsilini Denizli’de tamamlayan Enver Ören’in hayatını değiştiren dönüm noktası, Kuleli Askerî Lisesi’ne gelmesiyle başladı. Seyyid Abdülhakîm Arvasî hazretlerinin (Kuddise sirruh) talebesi kimya öğretmeni Albay Hüseyin Hilmi Işık efendi ile burada tanıştı. Lise eğitimini tamamladıktan sonra, ileride kayınpederi olacak Hüseyin Hilmi Işık efendinin tavsiyesi ile İstanbul Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi’ne giren Enver Ören, 1961 yılında lisans öğrenimini başarıyla tamamladıktan sonra, bir buçuk yıllığına meslekî çalışmalar yapmak üzere İtalya’ya gitti. Dönüşünde bir müddet İstanbul Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi’nde öğretim üyesi olarak çalıştı. Anarşi ve terör olaylarının üniversitelere sıçraması ve ilmî çalışma yapmanın âdeta imkânsız hâle gelmesi üzerine, 1970 yılında üniversiteden ve akademik hayattan ayrılmak zorunda kaldı. Birkaç idealist arkadaşı ile birlikte, ülke şartlarının kendilerine yüklediği misyonun gereği olarak, gazeteciliğe başladı. 22 Nisan 1970 tarihinde “Hakikat” gazetesi ile başlayıp, isim değiştirilerek Türkiye Gazetesi ile devam eden bu süreci “ikinci doğumum” diye niteleyen Enver Ören, Japonya’da katıldığı bir kongrede edindiği fikirle, 1978 yılında Türkiye’de ilk defa elden kapıya gazete dağıtım sistemini başlattı.Enver Ören, hayatının bundan sonraki b��lümünü, bütün yorgunluklara ve meşakkatli yıllara rağmen dînine, vatanına, milletine ve bütün insanlığa hizmet etmeye harcadı.İnternet ve özel televizyonların olmadığı yıllarda, “orta sayfa”daki bilgilerle Türk milletinin dînini doğru öğrenmesine vesile olan Türkiye Gazetesi, 1990’da, bir daha kimsenin ulaşamadığı tiraj rekorunu kırarak, günlük 1.361.553 satış sayısına çıktı.Bu bilgilerin kaynağını meydana getiren ehl-i sünnet âlimlerinin kitapları, neredeyse bütün dillere çevrilerek, dünyaya yayılmaya başladı.Birkaç kişi ile başlayıp, halka halka milyonlara ulaşan hizmet yarışı, 1993 yılında, bünyesinde onlarca şirketi barındıran “İhlas Holding” adı ile taçlandı.

Hey Lise, I know this is asking you to harken back to your MCU days but did you ever come across a meta post that was like, "we shouldn't compare Loki and Bucky's trauma; Loki's trauma is much more like Steve's pre-serum trauma and look at how ✨awesome✨ Steve is and how he dealt with that same trauma? Loki has no excuses!" Because I did and it still makes me mad to think about to this day.

If I'm remembering the post you're thinking of properly - and I definitely may not be, I could be thinking of a different post entirely (the staple of "compare the antagonist's trauma to a protagonist's trauma, comment on how the protagonist handled it sooooo much better and how that indicates that the antagonist deserved what he/she/they got, because the way somebody handles trauma is determinative of their goodness or evilness as a person" is a recurring tradition across time and fandoms, I'm sure there are multiple posts), that's not actually what I got from the one in question? perhaps it was just my lens, but (again, if I'm thinking of the same post), I recall it being relatively morally neutral, or at least more about looking at the ways in which "actually while the easy comparison is loki and bucky due to the position they occupy in the narrative, loki and steve have more in common in some ways and that's interesting" and I read it as, personally, a bit of a stoki manifesto.

like, "actually these characters people don't tend to associate/look at together have some very interesting parallels! isn't that neat?" more than anything coming with a moral judgment.

but getting this ask made me go back into the depths of my blog (truly, the depths) to track down the post I'm at least thinking of, and remarkably enough actually managed to find it (given that the post in question is from 2013), and...reading it from the perspective of Fandom Discourse in 2023 I can definitely see what it is you're saying, and I think if I saw it in Fandom Edition 2023 that's probably how I would read it, too, and get annoyed about it. but looking at it from the perspective of where things were at that time, before the great villain/victim discourse of Winter Soldier kicked in, I actually feel a relative minimum of judgment from the post? Like, it does describe the different choices steve and loki make in response to their experiences in positive/negative terms, but it doesn't then progress to (at least in my reading) "and that's why loki is evil and NO EXCUSES" (Fandom 2023 Edition), but stays at just...letting it be about divergent character journeys coming from similar-but-different places? idk.

like, at the very least this one acknowledges that the "bad" character was genuinely hurt and having an understandable emotional reaction. which is not necessarily something one sees these days.

idk. maybe I'm being too generous. but then, I am more inclined to be generous to a post made in 2013 concerning this, when the pattern of discourse in fandom was a little different, than I would be reading a similar post now. perhaps that's unfair.

CHP 'li Çağdaş Kaya 'dan Meclisi Protestosuna Sert Cevap

“Atatürk’ün adını duyunca salonları terk etmeyin” Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi Buca İlçe Başkanı Çağdaş Kaya, Buca Belediyesi Meclisi’nde AKP’li meclis üyelerinin meclis toplantısına girmemesi ile ilgili açıklama yaptı. CHP’li Kaya, “Atatürk’ün adını duyunca salonları terk etmemeli aksine birbirimize daha çok kenetlenmeliyiz” dedi. AKP’li Meclis Üyesi Zülfiye Kula’nın, Buca Belediye Meclisi’nin aralık ayı ilk oturumunda kadına seçme ve seçilme hakkının verildiği güne dair yaptığı konuşmada, AKP iktidarında kadının yüz yüze kaldığı zorlukları görmezden gelmesi tepkilere neden oldu. Yaşanan tartışmanın ardından AKP’li üyeler meclisin ikinci oturumuna katılmadı. Bunun üzerine açıklama yapan CHP Buca İlçe Başkanı Çağdaş Kaya, açıklamasında şu ifadelere yer verdi: “Büyük Önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün ‘Yeryüzünde gördüğünüz her şey kadının eseridir’ sözüyle değerini ifade ettiği kadınlar, son 22 yılda AKP iktidarı yüzünden neredeyse tüm kazanımlarını kaybetme noktasına geldi. Bu iktidar döneminde, kadının sosyal statüsünde sistemli ve bilinçli bir geriye gidiş söz konusu… Kadınlar büyük bir şiddet ve güvencesizlik sarmalının içine sokuldu. Kız çocuklarının eğitiminin önüne birçok engel getirildi. Sadece son 10 yılda 4.000 kadın cinayete kurban gitti. AKP iktidarının ilk yılında, Anayasa Mahkemesi tarafından, reşit olmayan bir kız çocuğunu rızası dışında kaçıranların, herhangi bir zarar vermeden emniyetli bir yere getirip serbest bırakmaları halinde hapisle yargılanmalarını düzenleyen madde iptal edildi. 2006 yılında Sağlık Bakanı Recep Akdağ, doğum kontrolü ve aile planlaması yöntemlerini hedefe koydu, ‘Nüfus planlaması ve aile planlaması kavramı bizim için rafa kalktı’ dedi. 2011’de Hakimler ve Savcılar Yüksel Kurulunun hazırladığı ‘yargıda durum analizi’ isimli raporda, cinsel saldırıya uğrayan kadınlara ilişkin ‘Kadının tecavüzcüyle evlenmesi halinde dava düşürülmeli’, ‘15 yaşından küçüklere karşı rızaen cinsel ilişki suçlarının ceza miktarları düşürülmeli’ gibi öneriler olduğu ortaya çıktı. 2012’de zorunlu eğitimde 4+4+4 sistemi getirildi. Ortaokul düzeyinde imam hatipler açıldı. Bundan 4 sene sonra, 2016’da ortaokuldan mezun olan 36 bin 401 kız öğrencinin hiçbir öğretim kurumuna kaydolmadığı, açık lisede okuyan öğrenci sayısının yüzde 63 arttığı tespit edildi. 2013’te Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Ortaöğretim Kurumları Yönetmeliği’yle liseli çocukların evlenmeleri halinde açık lisede öğrenim görmesi düzenlendi. MEB eliyle lise düzeyinde kız çocuklarının evlendirilmesinin önü açıldı. 2021’de 4. yargı paketiyle çocuk istismarında ‘somut delil’ aranmaya başlandı. Aynı sene Cumhurbaşkanlığı kararnamesi ile İstanbul Sözleşmesi tek taraflı olarak feshedildi. 2022’de Aile ve Sosyal Hizmetler Bakanı Derya Yanık, eşi vefat eden kadınlara sağlanacak konut desteğinin en az 3 çocuğu olma şartına bağlanacağını duyurdu. Yani kısacası, şu anki gerici, tekçi ve cinsiyetçi politikalar sadece kadınlar için değil, çocuklar için de en büyük tehlike haline geldi. Cemaatlerde, tarikatlarda her gün çocuklarımızın yaşadığı iğrenç olayları biliyoruz. Bunlar için de mücadele bekliyoruz. Hatta siz AKP'ye gönül vermiş kadınlardan destek bekliyoruz ve ‘Vatanı korumak çocukları korumakla başlar’ sözünü de dikkate almanızı bekliyoruz. Kadınlarımız bugün özgürce yaşıyor, gökyüzüne başını kaldırıp maviliklere bakıp, hayaller kurabiliyorsa, kılık kıyafeti için zorlanmıyorsa, bunun teşekkürü; kadınlarımıza "sürtük, çürük" gibi ifadeler kullananlara değil, “Ey kahraman Türk kadını! Sen yerde sürünmeye değil, omuzlar üzerinde göklere yükselmeye layıksın” diyen Büyük Önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’e yapılmalıdır. Belediye meclisimizde yaşadığımız olay gibi, onun adını duyunca salonları terk etmemeli aksine birbirimize daha çok kenetlenmeliyiz.”

Hafızanın ilginçliği üzerine

Lise zamanlarında Model'i çok dinlerdim, bugün de kardeşim tesadüfen gelip bir şarkıya sardım diyince -şarkı da Can Temiz ve Bonomo'nun Misafir şarkısı- gelip açtı dinledik, dedim ben Can Temiz hiç dinlememiştim kendi sesinden yani girdim dinlemeye başladım, sıradan çalıyor işte playlistte,

bu şarkıyı dinlerken dedim bu şarkı bana başka bir şarkıyı çağrıştırıyor neydi neydi diye düşünürken,

Model'den Sen Ona Aşıksın olduğunu anladım nedense onu Can Temiz in yazma ihtimali aklımdan hiç geçmemiş olsa gerek ikisini de yazanın aynı kişi olduğunu ve bunu dinleyince anlamak bir garip geldi, hatta Levlâ'nın Hikâyesi albümünü komple Can Temiz yazmış bu da böyle gereksiz bir bilgiydi işte 🤷🏼‍♀️
