On the surface it's quite funny to notice the similarities between hollowed crown!prince Hal and mcu!loki (princes, trickstery, daddy issues, hiddleston,) and then pretend that Hal is actually loki, who intended to pop down to Midgard and impersonate the son of a king to start his takeover of the human race or whatever.

But the infinitely funnier idea is realizing that Loki would fucking hate Hal. He's literally got everything Loki wants: the promise of a crown and kingdom, a dad who actually cares about him (in one way or another), actual friends, a stand-in father figure in Falstaff, a cute boyfriend,

And he's just WASTING IT??? Sitting around and DRINKING?? While his dad the king wishes this OTHER GUY (hotspur) was his son even though hotspur isn't blood related and Hal is blood related and also HOTSPUR IS AN IDIOT??? And Hal isn't even limited by ability or means or anything he just wants to party and his excuse is that when he stops partying it'll make him LOOK BETTER IN COMPARISON?? loki would 100% be fuming and Hal would probably ridicule the shit out of him. Honestly Hal would probably enjoy hanging out with Thor, instead, the drinking and escapades seems more his scene

An interesting tidbit is that the Thor (2011) script implies Loki feared his involvement in letting the Frost Giants into Asgard had been discovered and that he'd be punished for it. On top of everything, Loki fears that also being discovered throughout the entire movie. He was going through cumulative nervous breakdowns the whole movie.

Also, Frigga just casually lounging there and being like "Make your Father proud. " LMAO.

Frigga: Until Odin awakens, Asgard is yours.

I had to rewatch the eyeball bit in Avengers (2012) because a mutual insists there was no eye gouging involved technically. And like it's true.. the eye wasn't gouged. but still I find it funny Loki & co designed an eyeball scanner with spikes to embed on the face around the eye. Why did Loki & co deem the spikes necessary? xD Loki's like "No pain no gain. Someone has to suffer." lol

In case anyone doesn’t know why Channing Tatum randomly showed up in “Deadpool & Wolverine” as Gambit:

Way back when the Fox X-Men universe was still in full swing, Tatum signed on to play Gambit in a movie. I believe he signed on after Gambit appeared in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. The project was stuck in development hell, then cancelled. So this was Ryan Reynolds’ tribute to the cancelled project and why Gambit believed he was born in the Void.

I'm of the opinion that MCU!Loki would be far more willing to die to save MCU!Frigga than the other way around (even if she's interpreted as genuinely caring for him), and it has fucked up angst potential.
