Immortal Decadent After the Ball
If you can't tell, this is based on a painting by Ramon Casas called Decadent young woman. After the dance. (More about it at the end)
Also version with out glasses:
Click to see them good details
The original painting:
"Decadent young woman. After the dance", 1899 by Ramon Casas
I was looking through my folder of paintings, thinking if one of them could be turned into fanart. I found this one and thought it would fit Crowley very well. Well, turns out the name makes it even more fitting! The Incident in Good Omens That Broke All of Our Hearts, happened after a dance/ball (the painting is also known as "After the Ball"), which is just incredibly serendipitous.
Also of course everything about the pose, the dark clothes and the red hair just screamed Crowley to me.

man i remember when my time at sandrock was still in development and there was some dev update introducing the town doctor character, fang, with his pretty delicate facial features and long shampoo-commercial hair, looking like every cliche of a "cold, reserved anime pretty boy" distilled
and then the update where they said they would make him romanceable/expand his backstory due to popular demand, and i rolled my eyes in utter disinterest at what looked like the same cardboard cutout love interest we've all seen a million times, cuz that is just not my bag, personally
and then i played the game and well fuck, so he's actually disabled due to deep childhood trauma, and you help him through his struggles to a place where it's less debilitating, learn he's extremely, passionately motivated to help others not suffer the way he did, and is in fact kind and awkward and a little bit of a dork
and oh no, whoops, i've tripped and fallen and married him

Christmas, 1314: The Second Holy Tartosian Empirical Residence.
Christmas dawned. It was always a time of great joy and celebration... But in royal circles, it could also be a time for diplomacy. A time to take advantage of the cheer, good will, and drunkenness of their fellow royals.
Frederick was no fool and decided to take this time to try and find himself a wife. He knew exactly who - one of the only single women of the proper class. That might sound desperate... But he had seen her portraits, she was utterly breathtaking.
His invitation to invite herself and her family to Christmas was accepted - so he had his servants pull out all of the stops. A proper roast dinner, the finest mead and wine, and a large pile of presents was arranged as quickly as possible!
They all deserved nice gifts for managing it.
His intended and her family showed up just in time.
Queen Mother Elizabeth de Burgh of Henford on Bagley. She had been single for a while now, but considering her captivity and recent release, nobody had dared ask for her hand. Her daughter, queen Marjory, was extremely protective.
He called his guests to the grand meal, smiling as they all swarmed. He had the opportunity to talk to his intended and also try and schmooze her daughter into allowing her to get married.
As they talked, Frederick felt his heart pounding in his chest. He had intended a political marriage. Sure, one with great attraction, but also one with a powerful woman as his bride to show that he was the rightful and true emperor.
But quickly, he was realizing that wasn't what it was anymore. It was starting to matter if her daughter refused him. Judging by the queen mother's blush, it was starting to matter to her as well.
Queen Marjory seemed awfully paranoid and stuck close to Elizabeth. Eavesdropping on her conversations with Frederick. At first she was adamant that she would agree to nothing right now...
But after she was pulled aside for a private conversation with her mother? She agreed that he could marry her.
With business out of the way, it was time for the best part of Christmas (aside from the booze): PRESENTS!
As his guests gathered around, delighted in the gifts he arranged for them? Frederick quietly thanked the Watcher for helping him find his wife.

Why do some people STILL think Taylor fans are just teenagers?? Why do they still have that assumption in 2024?? Like did they just forgot that Taylor has been around for almost 20 years at this point and alot of her fanbase like myself have grew up with her music?? Some even introducing their kids to her music in recent years?? She's a woman in her mid 30s that has been in the industry for a long time to still say her fanbase are all just teenagers is a very wrong to say in fact her fanbase is incredibly universal spanning all ages not just a specific demographic. Can we like just get rid of this assumption and mindset please???

an interesting thing abt jgy antis is like. where is the source of their, shall we say, negative opinion of jgy? like, 1. jgy is a villain, he does horrible things with no remorse, he’s willing to do everything to achieve his selfish, egotistical goals. --> 2. the source of this claim: this, this and this scene. --> 3. alright, but to me -- says someone who’s not an anti -- this reads differently. that he did all those things, and did them on purpose and without remorse, is not that obvious to me. why do you think that? --> 4. well, obviously because he’s a villain and does horrible things with no remorse.
like... he’s evil because he does bad things, and he does bad things because he’s evil. i’m interested in how antis came by those opinions, but a, unfortunately i have them all blocked, and b, even if i or someone else made a poll, it wouldn’t be authentic because no sane anti is going to say “well, people hated him and wrote all those things about him on twt, so i started hating him as well”, or “i only care about wgxn, you could sell me anything about other characters if your arguments were convincing enough because i zoned out during the parts when wgxn weren’t on screen/pages of the book”. it’s all “written in the book/shown in the show” and “logical arguments you’d agree with if only you could read”.
