The end of season 2!!!#(Granted: this season was nearly twice the length of season one.)#It's been a really fantastic season to draw for. So many iconic moments! It was a lot of work but I had a blast B*)#I also enjoyed experimenting more and more with my comic style. I'm growing as a comic artist bit by bit!#There is even a little bit of shadowing in this one for next season. As a treat. All the fun (and not heart breaking) scenes to come!#Comic talk time: Recently saw 12 angry men for first time and I love the coincidence of the themes aligning here.#They both touch upon the horror of judicial systems - in which the most persuasive argument wins and the truth is a nuisance.#All it takes is one person to stand against the crowd and say 'I do not know what is true. And that is reasonable doubt enough.'#When the majority is for condemning someone guilty - that in itself is persuasive enough.#One will set their mind to what the 'truth' is and refuse to see it any other way. That their perspective is the only correct one.#No one is born with a monopoly on the truth.#Everyone has biases and agendas. Some care not for the outcome - only that they can be on the convenient side.#Lan Wangji is putting everything on the line to say 'I'm not going to go with the majority vote.'#And that is a huge deal in a story that is so politically focused as MDZS is. Everything is a careful chess move to these sects -#and to not play the game is basically sacrificing everything you are and your families name. For some it is unthinkable.#And there is no doubt in LWJ's mind. He would stand there and lose everything if it means upholding justice.#More importantly - these two have each other's backs. The bond is unbreakable. This is the most ride or die I have seen two people be.

Arcane S2 | Act 3 Preview: Caitlyn + Combat

The fact we get to watch Caitlyn go head to head with Ambessa in hand-to-hand combat is WILD. Why is barely anyone talking about this?? I'm scared shitless about Caitlyn's possible fate in Act 3, but my god this girl has some serious balls to even attempt a fight to the death with this absolute unit of a warrior.

No matter what, Ambessa was going to hunt her down for her betrayal in Act 2. I imagine Caitlyn sees this as an opportunity for redemption too.

And holy- her new weapon is so insanely badass.

#greed wont give up secrets without something to gain in return but he admires lings avarice so he lets him hang around #he lan fan and fu are plotting ways to kidnap him without getting a mob of angry chimera chasing them back to xing #but uh oh canon rolls around and so to do the elrics #ling and co obvi take immediate interest in alphonse but cant do much bc 1 al doesnt know soul transmutation #and 2 the devils nest would kill them for sure #so they just assist in removing al from premise for dissection but uh oh they can sense the qi of a shit ton of soldiers #lings a little (a lot) reluctant to leave and let all the chimera possibly die but lanfan and fu are like 'we need to gtfo'#so they compromise on waiting with martel and al when they feel greeds nasty qi coming but also... something else #and this is where you diverge into canon compliant or not #canon compliant is ling and co leave when they sense bradley but stick around dublith for the elrics and come to rush valley with them #and then goes on mostly the same except greed prolly regains his memories sooner thanks to ling knowing him and then it spirals #but NOT canon compliant is you have them stay and help fight. not sure how this would go but def early wrath reveal and possibly #alive greed who hangs around to get eventual payback bc uh yeah the devils nest is still wiped out #but! dolcetto and roa probably survive. martel almost certainly and bidos around somewhere! so not total loss!#ling is now rocking around with the weirdest mix of qi imaginable (greed alphonse chimera)#yeah i dont have the braincells rn to think of what else would change but this is going to be on my mind a lot now #ling yao #greed the avaricious #greedling #hes here in spirit mkay #fmab #full metal alchemist brotherhood #moss' madness

Day 2: Friendships

„You look like a first and failed attempt of merging two species.“

„And you look like you‘ve kissed the wrong end of an Vorcha.“

Sometimes, friendship starts with a jab. And potentially escaping an exploding building while being shot at. But if asked, the answer one‘ll get will be a firm „I‘m just making sure that guy does nothing suspicious. So he‘ll stay with me cause even if Shepard trusts him, I don‘t.“ And before you know it, „that guy“ hangs around exclusively with you because you have to make sure he‘s distracted (so he can‘t do something suspicious!).

You give him tasks (mostly getting food because calibrations), letting him watch Fleet and Flotilla (it‘s educational), having conversations (more jabs) and occasionally letting him help with calibrations (not that it‘s necessary, but he can be a capable challenger). But it‘s only to keep an eye on him! So it‘s also normal to carefully talk him through one of his mental breakdowns. Or to keep him company when he has night terrors again. Or… when he looks at you devoid of emotions and says „We are terrified of ourselves.“, you answer:„Thats why you‘ll stay with me so I can continue to keep an eye on you. Or both eyes, when I’m not calibrating.“ That answer often gets you a smile, sometimes even a playful shove along with it.

When one asks Garrus if he sees „that guy“ as a friend, he‘ll answer: „No. I‘m just keeping an eye on him, cause I don’t trust him to keep himself away from danger. And he has a name, thank you.“

Note: Half of the crew knows Garrus spills bullshit at this point, the other half calls him out in it. Shepard even teases him! He‘ll deny it anyways. Crepitus is just glad that he has now TWO people who care for him (a friend and a father). Sorry for the long text. I try to tell some sort of story through this event.

You guys know on how InuYasha, the few times he talks about it, badmouths his father and says he doesn't care to avenge his death when he battles Ryukoltsei?

I wonder if InuYasha starts to regret his mindset towards his father once he himself becomes a father. Or at the very least, he starts to understand his father better. Especially if you want to go by the Movie 2 canon where part of Toga's death was from protecting InuYasha and his mom.

Just makes me wonder if InuYasha looks at Moroha or any of his other children and has the thought that it'd break his heart if any of his kids felt resentment towards him like he felt for his own father, especially when everything he ever does is to protect them. And I wonder if it makes InuYasha start to look at his father's memory differently, now that he's a parent himself and would do anything and everything to protect his kids, even if it meant dying and leaving them without a father.

Not that he'd go and try to get himself killed, as he wants to actually be alive so they don't have to grow up like he did, but you know he'd sacrifice himself if it meant his children could live, just like his father did for him (according to movie 2).

I don't know, I just wonder if InuYasha starts to ever regret the way he looked at his father's memory back when he was a teen once he becomes a father to Moroha and starts to understand his father's actions as a parent now that he himself is a parent. Ya know what I mean?

Something that bugs me is that, they were complaining that the fandom, outside of drawing Mono and Six, only ever draws Mono and Seven and like.... WHERE!!!SHOW ME!!! that's the entire point I made the comic! There was no art of Seven and Mono!!! They're characters who never meet, so no one ever really drew them together back then, at least, not so thoroughly to explore a dynamic with them. Granted Five / Raincoat girl isn't given the same treatment, but that's because she's from the inferior mobile game! And you couldn't get a read on her personality because there was a lack of cutscenes for her!

They're complaining about a fandom making content that isn't catered towards them, and that's just ridiculous!
