#audrey grace #audtree #the lorax #miru art #her original askblog in 2012 was set right before she was going to turn 16 #and 11 years later now she's 27 #i guess at first i just wanted to see how i would draw her as 16 again and then i wanted to compare it to how i draw her these days #luckily the way I drew her changed naturally and gradually anyway over the 11 years #the main difference is that she's got some muscle now from fighting zombies for years #the height difference here is exaggerated lol in my mind she already had her growth spurt by 16 #and then she got stuck at 5'4 and a half (164cm)

writing the choices for MC's height was so funny because it's like. "average height" but it's Iceland so that's fucking 170-180cm (5'7" to 5'11" for my american crowd)

has dan ever said how tall he is? in my head he has 185cm-ish energy but I know for sure that he's taller than that lol unless everyone else at the m&g is tiny

hes like 6'2 or something dumb i think idk all i can tell you is when i met him in our photo im so small that he had to hold my phone so high and angled that you can see my feet but only see him to the waist

Quiet update on an even bigger, much rainbow-er, speed run dice: numbers and triangles were cut on Sunday, all the numbers have been appliqued, and 30 zippers have been threaded and cut. Tomorrow night I'll cut the tube fabric and maybe sew them; Thursday night I'll do the end of the tubes. Then Friday night and Saturday I'll put it all together, so we can take it to the medieval fair on Sunday.

The last one took me two years, this one will need to be done in under a week.

But I am just going to the use the corner pieces from the old one, because I simply don't have time to sew 12 extra plushies.

#it will be 135cm high which is juuuuust low enough for me (164cm) to read the numbers #and Lily and I custom dyed the fabric rainbow and I'm obsessed #but it is bedtime because I am also working full time in addition to spending 30+ hours this week sewing a big dumb project
