He lives in an apartment with his dad, and he's usually just called 'Flécher', because that’s what it says on the back of his jumpsuit, and no one at NRC has bothered to ask if that's actually his first name.

"Nice to meetcha, and all that jazz; you can call me 'Flécher'." He turns around and throws a backwards thumb at his back. "Says it right here, see?"

After Tomoe, Grim and Irina were enrolled as students and no longer had the time to be actual janitors, Flécher was hired as a part-time janitor working for dirt cheap. That would be around the middle of Book 1.

"Dad thought I should get this job, saying it'd be good for me; it'd 'teach me responsibility' he said."

He always blasts really loud music in his headphones, making him unable to hear people talking to him most of the time.

He also loves dancing around with his broom; and he's pretty good at it. He actually goes to a ballet studio on the island.

He's sometimes scolded for 'goofing off' when he's listening to his tunes and starts to dance around with the broom during his work, but is somehow still one of the go-to people for campus gossip.

"Janitors hear a lot, you know? A surprising amount, actually. We're just 'part of the scenery' to most folks. Really comes in handy sometimes!"

He's not sure what he wants to do in life yet.

He thinks being a sound technician, DJ, or a radio show host all sound pretty fun.

i know he's kinda in a weird thing with valentino but just hear me out...

Long story short you two both met after he most likely had a huge fight with Valentino

It was a very brief interaction with you both barely sharing a full 'conversation' if it could even be called that but to say the least he was obsessed from the start

"Isn't it a little late for you to be out?"

If it wasn't obvious he was very much attracted to your mysterious nature. He wanted to figure you out and to try and understand you and this proved to be more of a challenge than he thought

One thing that drew him in even more was most likely your villain set aesthetic/clothing. He probably wanted you to become a V in some sort of way but this most likely didn't work

Crumbs of Hero lore, part 1

Watch as i try to gather my scattered thoughts into a cohesive post and fail miserably~

So, The Hero of Vault and The Hero of Reindeer are from the same era. They had their separate adventures before their shared one. When these events took place or what even went down, i don't know yet lol.

More thoughts under cut.

Basic info about Vault:

21 yo

164cm, 172cm with heels (he just likes to feel tall)

Vault lives in Castle Town with his father. His mother passed away when he was 10 years old. Their family comes from wealth and have political influence. Vault isn't big on politics, it's just so boring. He does like the fancy parties though, as long as he gets to enjoy them and doesn't have to act as a prop that is.

Vault's adventure was more of a standard LOZ adventure, where all of Hyrule was being threatened, so he's the more well known hero. For their shared adventure, i think it's more likely that Vault stumbled upon Deer. Whether he was already working on the new quest or just adventuring for fun, i don't know yet.

Basic info about Deer:

19 yo

Deer lives in a small, isolated village outside of Hyrule, where most of their trade comes from their reindeer (selling meat, pelts and trinkets made of antlers ect.) Deer was an orphan and was taken in by the Village Grandmaᵀᴹ, who has babysat everyones' kids. Now-a-days Deer has his own little cabin, with a shelter for his reindeer friend Eirwen.

Deer's adventure was more localized, the threat only really affecting his and the neighboring villages. The whole ordeal began with increased Wolfos attacks on the herd and villagers. Word about increased monster activity carried over from the neighboring villages too, so Deer set out to investigate.

I think his adventure consisted of only monsters. A boss monster had risen nearby, hence the monster activity. So at first Deer is only a local hero to the villagers and their livestock, and since he was from the reindeer herding community, and he rode on a reindeer, the people started calling him The Hero of Reindeer.

Okay, i think this is gonna have to do for now. Producing text has never been my strong suit, and im really starting to struggle gathering my thoughts into sentences lol

Erling was half laying between my legs as we were watching an episode of the Vikings on Erling's living room couch. Damn the thing was comfy, I could stay here forever, with strong arms wrapped around my body, making me feel safe and warm and just happy.

A feeling I'm not familiar with. Or I wasn't familiar with, before meeting him.

I'll always be grateful to him. For his love and dedication and his heart.

He's selfless. The best guy I've ever met.

He knows I'm not perfect, far from it, and I have a long way to go, but he's always supporting me.

All my life I've been hurt, by the closest people around me, especially the men figures in my life, starting with my father, if I can call him that.

I've built a lot of walls, and I don't trust people easily, but Erling, Erling is different, I knew from the first moment I met him that he's not like the rest. He's different.

I'm glad I gave him a chance.

Well, he was quite insistent anyway, it's quite hard, or better said, impossible, to say no to Erling.

He's this big guy, 6'4" feet or 194cm tall, build like a bridge, all fair skin and blonde hair. He's a beast on the field. He's determined, calm and collected. He's on his way to becoming the best footballer of our generation but still, he's so normal, so unfazed by the fame or money or any other bullshit.

A lot of people love him, and a lot of people hate him, making fun of his unusual technique or physique or dedication or looks, but he doesn't care.

He's just him. Unapologetically him.

You love that about him.

He's on his lane, he knows what he wants and how to get it, and he works hard for it, every day, with no excuses.

He's perfect.

It's hard to resist, really.

No wonder I couldn't.

Anyways that's a story for another time. Back to the present.

"I love it when you play with my hair" he mumbled, sounding half asleep, half purring, cuddling closer to me.

"Well you're in luck, I love your hair, my baby Viking" I teased him, kissing the top of his head as I continued playing with his soft blonde hair.

"I'm literally 1 and half feet taller than you, if someone is the baby here, it's you" he teased, moving his hand, which by the way is huge, to one of my boobs to squeeze it.

He has a thing for boobs, I swear, he's always touching them, this guy.

"The only things big about you are your boobs and your butt" he squeezed the left one, making me blush.

"Heyyy, I'm not that small!! I'm 5'1", stop making fun of me!" I groaned as you felt him move up, using his arms to lift himself, looking down at me with his big blue-greenish eyes, grinning.

"Sorry, just my intrusive thoughts winning," he said between laughs "we're basically in a long-distance relationship!" he laughed and I couldn't help but join him, not before giving his shoulders a playful push (not managing to budge him, damn, he's strong) then pulling him in, groaning as he laid his weight on me.

"Stop making fun of me…" I hide my face in his neck, in embarrassment. His scent is so unique, I love it, it's so fresh and manly and just, him, Erling.

It always calms me down.

"Sorry my baby love, you know I love teasing you" he lifted himself up, pulling me up with him so I was on his lap now, still hiding my face in his neck, holding onto him as he rubbed my back in comfort.

"Erling?" I asked after a few moments, lifting my head so I can look into his eyes. Feeling suddenly bare, naked somehow.

He has such pretty eyes.

"Yes?" He answered, frowning when he saw my look "What's wrong my love?".

"Do you think I'm too short for you?" I asked seriously.

He let out a breath of air "God, baby, I thought you were going to break up with me for a moment there!"

"What, no, of course not, I love you" I moved my hands to his face, caressing his soft cheeks with my thumbs.

"Of course, you're not too short, I mean who cares about height? So what if I'm 6'4" and you're 5'0" and I have to bend down to kiss you, I'll happily do that for the rest of my life" he pulled me closer to him moving his hands on my cheeks, as we stared into each other's eyes.

"We're equal here, where it matters, we match baby, don't you see it, we fit so perfectly together, we were meant to be" he closed the distance between our lips, kissing.

The kiss was filled with so much love.

It started slow but it soon turned into a full lust making out, exploring each other's bodies with our hands, in the darkness of the night.

I moved my hands from his shoulders to his chest, loving the way his skin was feeling under my fingertips. He's so muscular and strong, it makes me so hot to know that he's mine. I get to touch him and get him to moan like this.

I suddenly feel so naked, so vulnerable. Tossed aside like a ragdoll.

I reached out for a shirt, covering my chest with my hands, my eyes filling with tears as I try to reach for my shirt, with trembling hands.

I feel so stupid.

I just was so afraid to tell him. To break, yet another wall, for him. With him.

He suddenly composed himself, realising what he's done when he heard me trying to hold back my sobs as I tried to dress myself and leave.

I wanted to go as far away from here as possible.

"No, baby, wait I'm sorry!" He reached for me but I flinched, trying to move away, from him, making myself smaller.

"Baby, no please, please don't be afraid of me! I would never hurt you!" He desperately said, kneeling in front of you, taking my trembling hands into his and kissing them.

"You just did…" I whispered and he moved his eyes to your arms, tears filling his greenish eyes.

"Baby, I swear I didn't realise, I didn't mean to hurt you, I would never hurt you on purpose, I swear! It's just, I was frustrated, and you're so tiny compared to me, I'm a fucking giant, a giant idiot that can't control his force…" he said, in frustration and I couldn't help it, seeing this distressed make me want to comfort him, protect him.

I want him to stop crying, and stop hurting.

"Come here, you big puppy, I know you didn't want to hurt me" I whispered, pulling him up, thankful when he went with it, cuddling me, both of us looking like we have just returned from our death.

"I swear I didn't mean to, I didn't even realise it…" he said into my neck, still holding my hand in his, kissing it.

"I know, it's just, me…" I said into his hair, inhaling his scent.

"You're perfect…" he said moving so he could look into my eyes.

"Baby, I love you, so much, we only know each other for what 5 months, but I already know you're it for me, you're my girl" he said caressing my cheek, moving a fallen piece of wavy hair behind my ear "but please, be honest to me, do you not love me, or do you have doubts…?" He asked, frowning. He looked so sad and vulnerable. I don't think I have ever seen him like that before.

"What, no of course not! It's not that at all! I love you with all I have, you're the first person I told 'I love you' 100%, to show my feelings to and you know how hard it was for me to say that…" I kissed him.

" but then why won't you let me have you… I want to make you feel good baby, to do this together, make love… but you always stop me and look so frightened, am I not…" he began explaining the cut himself off, swallowing "am I not to your liking…?" He looked like a kicked puppy as he looked into my eyes.

"Erling, how could you say that?!" I asked in disbelief.

"It's just embarrassing, I'm like 3 years older than you and like you've got girls throwing themselves at you, and I'm sure you've got more experience-" he interrupted me "baby it's nothing to be scared of! I don't care about whatever girls throw themselves at me, I only want you! And before meeting you it was not much of a difference, I was focusing on football. I don't have that much experience also, I've only been with like a handful of people" he reasoned but I had to cut him off.

Hello there! Super excited for this matchup exchange as it’s my first one! I’m not going to lie, it took me a while to get you figured out, but I think that ultimately I managed to pick the perfect match.

I think Husk is a good match for you for a number of reasons. First of all, even though he might not look like it, he’s very patient and observant, as shown in one of the episodes of the series too. He easily reads people’s emotions, so he doesn’t need you to be open about them to understand if you’re going through something. If bottling up your emotions is your go-to coping mechanism, he’s not going to think twice about calling you out on it and on whatever you’re actually going through. He might do it a bit harshly at first, but his tone is quick to change into a gentler one as he doesn’t want you to get defensive and build up more unnecessary walls between you two.

Husk is not really afraid of getting called out by you; he’s got nothing to hide, so while this aspect of you calling people out on their bullshit might intimidate somebody, he’s not included in that group of people. If anything he’s going to call you out first as I mentioned earlier, and he’s going to make sure that you’re always sincere with him from that moment on.

He’s also not really bothered by your habit of cursing a lot, as he does so himself. He thinks some curse words are pretty hilarious if used at the right moment, and he won’t hide the occasional chuckle when you curse over something that he finds particularly funny.

With the flirting however, he’s going to act annoyed over it at first...because he is. A little bit. He actually genuinely likes you as a person and ends up catching feelings for you in the long run, but by God, why do you have to be such a tease? It’s not really typical to see him blushing, but he’ll end up having to turn around or hide his face a lot around you because he just can’t help but get embarrassed by some of your teasing. He’s glad his fur kind of conceals some of it, at least. He’s eventually going to start teasing you back, mainly by calling you pet names seemingly out of nowhere. What comes out of it is a very fun friendly and perhaps romantic banter.

What really did it for me was when you said that you need a partner who can both keep up with you and be patient and honest; Husk can very well be this kind of partner, even though he leans more towards having a pretty low energy but I don’t think it’s an issue as you don’t seem to have the highest energy yourself. Though he loves when you bring out your charisma, he thinks it’s very attractive.

Speaking of attractive, he absolutely loves your beauty marks, he reminds you this almost every day along with reminding you that you’re beautiful in general. Husk is a gentleman at heart with his partner, so he’ll do it in a very sweet and genuine way, and he will never be vulgar with his compliments. If you like pet names, he will use those for you, especially things like ‘doll’ and ‘bella’, which means beautiful in Italian.

Husk admires the fact that you can defend yourself, both verbally and I’m guessing physically, since your hobbies include fighting sports. It’s another thing about you that he finds infinitely attractive. Still, in moments of danger, he will never let you defend him and do nothing for you, if anything you’ll either be asked to stand back so he can do all the work or you’ll be fighting back to back and looking out for each other.

He really appreciates you not being clingy in your relationship, as he sometimes needs his space, but he’s a cuddler at heart so once you get comfortable with physical contact he’ll be all over you as long as he has your permission. During cuddles, his cat instincts slightly take over, especially when he’s sleepy...so you might get asked to scratch him under his chin or behind the ears, don’t fret though as you’ll be rewarded with a good amount of purrs.

I honestly do not think that Husk is a morning person either; if he’s grumpy during the day, imagine when he’s just woken up. When you two wake your bed is a mess of intertwined limbs and feathers he’s lost during the night while moving around, and none of you has any intention of getting up and making the situation better. Instead you opt for taking those sweet five more minutes under the covers, his tail wrapped around your waist protectively.

He also takes an interest in listening to you talk about your hobbies. I have a feeling that he’s not a fan of many hobbies honestly, but you could get him into something, such as reading. Spending hours together in silence as you read your favorite genre of books or stories and he picks up some Action novels sounds like a good time, no? Especially when it’s a bit cold outside, and he has you curled up against one of his warm wings.
