He was confused on the exact details of what was going on and decided to approach you since he thought that you might know. When you told him that he didn't he planned on walking away but you kept talking and he found himself constantly responding to you

☞ He didn't even notice how much time had passed as the two or you were talking for about an hour before he noticed that whatever event you were both there for was starting. It was some meeting about giving sorcerers more work, something that Kento wasn't too fond of and grumbled about under his breath, you made a comment agreeing with him and he found himself smiling at your comment, pleasantly surprised

☞ When the meeting ended fate seemed like it hadn't had enough of the two of you together as you were both on the same mission, actually most of them were the same as apparently whoever arranged the schedules thought that you two might make a good team together and they were right. You both mostly stayed on task when fighting curses and when it was done you had some more missions together so Kento ended up asking for your number

☞ That night he ended up texting you asking if you wanted to meet somewhere to discuss the next mission the two of you were facing and you agreed, the two of you ended up going to a nearby bakery where he had a sandwich and some coffee. He also ended up paying for your food and drinks saying that since he called you out here it was the least that he could do

☞ Although if you were worried about not seeing him after the two of you finished all of your missions together you were more than wrong. You found him more than once on several occasions, several cafes, restaurants, and stores that you went to were the same ones that he would and each time he would approach you to see how you were doing and the two of you would end up talking for a while

☞ He didn't realize it right away but he started developing feeling for you but since he found it unprofessional of him he kept it buried deep and told himself that he would never act on them because as a sorcerer it wouldn't work out for the both of you in the end

☞ Eventually and unfortunately for him when the two of you were talking and walking back from a rather troubling mission Gojo just happened to spot the two of you and had it out for Kento, running up to him and saying how he never thought that anyone would actually date him and constantly teasing him

☞ He didn't leave for a while and kept noticing the way that Kento looked at you, soon enough Gojo decided that the pining was getting on his nerves and started saying how 'nanami just wont shut up about you! hes told me hes in love so many times already, its getting kinda sad'

☞ This went on for about fifteen minutes before Kento managed to push him away, finally allowing himself to breathe as he apologized for Gojo's behavior towards you. Yet he never said that he didn't like you and that led you to believe that Gojo was right, when you asked him about it though he only said that it was unprofessional and that the two of you should move on

☞ The next day Gojo set the two of you up for a blind date, why? Why not, he could tell that this slowburn was set on low and he wanted to turn up the heat and see what would happen. Kento wanted to leave the date but Gojo kept him there saying how it was rude and in the end he stayed and you two talked and talked

☞ By the end of the date Kento was unsure but he asked you if you would want something more with him and when you said yes he was pleasantly surprised, and a little horrified... it had nothing to do with you, more that Gojo actually did him a favor for once

☞ Your first date was at a cafe, and he paid for everything once again as you two began to sit down and talk again. Everything felt pretty much the same accept that you two sat closer and Kento complimented you on everything, your hair, style, it was like he couldn't get enough of you

☞ Gojo was ecstatic when he found out that the two of you were dating, constantly jumping up and down with excitement saying how he's glad that you managed 'to tame a grumpy nanami' and how he hoped that you didn't mind him being 'so cold' sometimes. Which you both knew was a lie

☞ When Shoko found out she thought that it was kinda funny how Kento managed to get a girlfriend before Gojo, and she said that only for Gojo to shush her and say that 'he didnt need a girlfriend... or boyfriend-'

☞ Mei Mei didn't react much at first, although she was surprised that it happened, teasing Kento and saying how she thought that he liked to keep it professional and such

☞ Utahime was absolutely ecstatic for it, she bought you two quite a few things as a congratulation gift, and Gojo bullied her for doing so but she yelled at him and then ignored him

☞ Your dynamic is friends to lovers, and workplace lovers <3

☞ He constantly does stuff for you, goes out to by you groceries, fixes anything that you break, helps you with your technique and training. He's around you basically 24/7

☞ When you told him about your love for literature and writing he asked for you to recommend him some books to read, saying that he needed to read more anyways

☞ While he doesn't give you letters per se he does write you little sticky notes on things, placed on food all over the house saying that it was for you or that he thought you'd might want to try something. If you overworked yourself one day you'd find a sticky note next to you when you woke up criticizing you for it

☞ When you first met him you probably crashed into him when you came into hell and he was confused at first until he realized that you were just a sinner from Earth. He got really sad at that and started lamenting about it as he walked away, before turning around and asking you what got you into Hell in the first place

☞ You told him that you didn't know and thats when he started to get a little confused, he asked you again and said that you must have some idea of what got you there as you must to have done something bad like the majority of people there and when you replied no his face dropped.

☞ Thats when you took hold of the conversation and began asking him questions, he answered them boredly and with a bit of disdain but did so nonetheless and the more he talked to you the more he felt that you didn't belong in Hell, yet he didn't do anything and instead told you to follow him. He took you back to his place and said that you could stay there for the night until you found a proper place to stay

☞ You tried to thank him but he didn't stick around long enough for that, instead disappearing without another word. Every now and then the two of you would talk about something and he would find himself captured by your voice but shook it off and it wasn't till he introduced you to Charlie that she pointed out that he was falling in love

☞ At first he didn't want to admit it but it became more and more apparent and suddenly he couldn't hide it any longer, when he confessed to you it was a huge grand gesture with fireworks and everything (courtesy of Charlie)

☞ When you said that you would date him he didn't know what to do. He started panicking and running all around the place screaming about how he needed to plan for your date... which Charlie helped with

☞ You two had a date at the hotel with Alastor as the server, he kept exchanging insults with Lucifer the entire time but besides that his attention was fully on you... at least when Angel didn't almost burn down the entire building just trynna make some damn pasta for the two of you

☞ You two ended up taking the date agian and this time just having some tea in the lobby while chatting with each other about your goals and such, along with what is going on with your lives. He ended up apologizing for treating you so coldly when he first met you, saying how he didn't really like most sinners at that time and they just reminded him of what he did

☞ You comforted him through it the entire time and he appreciated that a lot from you saying how you didn't have to forgive him at all and that he was 100% in the wrong for what he did in the first place

☞ Charlie was ecstatic to hear that you were dating, jumping up and down and grabbing and shaking Vaggie screaming about how she was going to make sure that everything was going to go smoothly in their relationship and how she was gonna be the cool daughter

AU where Lucifer went down to New Orleans sometime between 1900 and 1910, right in the middle of Mardi Gras. Charlie was about 100ish at this time, and while Lucifer and Lilith were still together, there was a growing emotional distance between them that had been going on for a few decades at this point. Lucifer's just trying to have some fun and forget his worries for a little while, and he does. And he meets a nice lady. A very nice Creole woman who makes a mean pot of jambalaya with a kick right out of hell. They hit it off and spend the majority of the celebration together.

They get drunk. Very drunk. Lucifer doesn't remember most of that night. The woman, Nicaise, is pregnant.

By some quirk of genetics, the child comes out indistinguishable from a normal human, if significantly paler than his dark-skinned mother. Growing up, Nicaise always tells her son that his daddy was an angel, but all the boy sees is that his father abandoned him and his mother in a world that doesn't look kindly on black women or single mothers. He watches his mother struggle, he watches her suffer, and he grows up resenting and hating the men who make her life hell. Especially his father.

♣ You'd meet him the the hotel without a doubt, coming in for a chance to be rehabilitated you were definitely shocked that there was a bar there but didn't think and or say much of it. The moment you walked in there wasn't really anyone there though. Although Angel did see you and usher you over to Husk almost instantly to have to occupy him as he would sneak out to get drugs of some sort

♣ Husk would wave off Angel's dumb behavior before apologizing to you for it, saying how this probably wasn't a very good first impression of the hotel. But he asked for you to forgive it, seeing as Charlie and Vaggie were out currently on their date and asked Angel and Husk to stay behind and run the hotel

♣ You ended up talking to Husk for an extremely long amount of time. About an hour as he was rather good at getting you to talk, the questions that he asked you were never directly personal but still made you feel cared about in a way, which was a good sign seeing as you did want to be cared about at this hotel

♣ When Charlie and Vaggie came back Charlie apologized for not being there to greet you and instantly showed you everything (even the wall)

♣ You found yourself always hanging out around the bar, smiling and talking to Husk in a quiet and hushed manner as the usual gang would surround the tv watching the news about the latest new fuckfest going on in hell

♣ One late night when Husk was finishing up cleaning the bar he decided to take the chance to confess to you. Turning around and instantly saying that he cared about you as more than a friend and if you wanted then sometime you guys could go out on a date

♣ When you said yes he offered you a smile before properly finishing up his work and walking you to your room like a gentleman

♣ While Husk isn't typically a big fan of physical touch, he doesn't mind it when its you, he'll hold you hand, hold you in general and cuddle up on the couch on the days that he doesn't have to run the bar

♣ I imagine that the two of you sing and dance quite often when you're together, turning on some song on the radio (courtesy Alastor) and humming along to whatever song is on while just twirling around each other warmly

♣ He doesn't baby you, he always gives the news to you straight because he knows that if anyone can handle it, its you. He never hides things from you either. He's an open book

♣ In fact when he told you about being an ex-overlord it was when you both tarted dating and it was one of the first things that he told you as he didn't want you having any regrets about dating him later when you found out and he wanted to give you the option to not date him if you had any sort of problem with his past

♣ If he ever thinks that he's misunderstanding you on something he'll talk it out with you, asking you and making sure about what's going on before taking the appropriate action and making sure that neither of you are harmed in any way by it

hmm... in a "Charlie gets wings" scenario, which sparks more joy...

the idea of Charlie very awkwardly unfolding a pair of gold angel wings that almost perfectly match Adam's (the ones her mom would have had if Lilith hadn't gone all demon) except they have only one stripe (like Vaggie's) and Vaggie is gleefully assuring her gf that she wears them SO MUCH BETTER than Adam ever did

OR, Charlie deliberately giving herself a pair of dragon-like wings, to match with Razzle (and the fallen Dazzle), setting herself completely apart from angelic dad bc she's hellborn and proud of it

XD charlie getting the gold ones and being all "nooo.... nnnoooooooo i don't want those... icky, icky associations... let's just trade them out ok???"

and THEN making herself the demon wings like aaahhhh yessss MUCH better o^w^o

Hola deer I was wondering what are your thoughts of who might have Al on a leash…I know many people are speculating it to be Lilith, but I feel like There is no way Al had a whole breakdown song just for being Lilith lackeys. True it might be that he just wants his power back, but the idea of Lilith requesting Al to keep an eye on the hotel it’s not that bad per se. The way he reacted when Husk mentioned his leash, that was the face of a man who is terrified to lose control and making a deal with Charlie was his last remedy.

The man is desperate and I can’t stop thinking about the fact the he was already so powerful when he come to hell, And unless he met someone who had a lot of knowledge on the place before dying, I doubt he would have got the title of overlord that quickly. Someone must have helped him right?! Same with Lilith. As the story goes she became so very powerful when she feel in hell, but how? Do u just know what your power are and how to use them when u die? Lilith was the first of her kind to get down there, there was no one she could have taken inspiration from. And what about Al’s shadow? I mean what shadows have in correlation with a deer man with a microphone? To me it would make much more sense if when Al was alive, he got in contact with someone very powerful from hell and made the naive mistake to trust it. He sold his soul and he got shadows to help him through his murders, then Upon dying, he made a second mistake and momentarily forgot about his leash, going around and killing Overlords for his own entertainment, until he was called back to fulfill his end of the bargain.

My speculation is that root must have his soul and maybe even Lilith’s soul, or at least some kinda of deal with her, that got her to be the queen she is remembered as. Heaven is the only place where root eyes are not visible, and it might explain why Lilith disappeared for 7 years in the angel land , same as Al. Maybe Lilith helped Al in exchange of him taking care of his daughter for her or something, and while they were together Lilith might have accidentally influenced Al’s opinion on the king of hell as well, causing the man to hate him at first sight lol

Just imagining Lilith ranting about his ex husband to Alastor, like Charlie did about Vaggie, when they were going to cannibalism town it’s so funny to me.

I like the idea that She's just Luci's long-suffering wine mom friend who is amicably divorced from him and ends up gaining a second man child once Luci and Al get together. I think her being the villain it’s just too cliche and I feel like it would be so much better if she actually start bickering with Lucy, angry talking like two feral cats lol

I get why a lot of people are speculating that Lilith has Alastor on a leash, and I wouldn't be surprised (or upset) if she does, but I really think it's Roo.

Or, at least, I want it to be her so badly.

I agree that I don't think Alastor would have a mental breakdown over being Lilith's lackey. Honestly, I don't agree with whole idea/concept that Lilith is even the bad guy. Like, I won't be mad if she is, because I love corrupt or morally grey female characters, but I think there is so much more going on them meets the eye.

A lot of people saw that 5 second glimpse of her onscreen during the season finale and kind of just assumed she ditched Hell and her family to live it up in Heaven, but I just...that makes absolutely no sense to me, especially given how she's been depicted in the background during the show. Given what little we know about Lilith, I just cannot see her leaving Lucifer, Charlie, and her entire domain to go fuck around in Heaven, whom I imagine she wouldn't have a very good relationship with, anyway.

And yes! I also massively agree about Alastor getting his power from some kind of source. It was specifically stated that he was toppling Overlords and gaining power faster than anyone ever has before, and from what we can deduce from the show, Alastor has the power to actually kill sinners - which isn't supposed to be possible. The only way sinners are supposed to die is with angelic weaponry.

Not only that, it also hasn't been hinted or implied that anyone else has been able to rip apart souls like he does. As far as we've seen from the other Overlords, the most you can do is own someone's soul.

So we have Alastor over here rising to the top of the food chain almost over night, gaining power at a rapid pace, with abilities that no one else seems to have. Yeah, I 100% believe he made a deal with someone when he first came into Hell, and I think that person was Roo.

I mean, what motive would Lilith have for making a deal with this random sinner who just entered Hell? Out of the hundreds (if not thousands) of sinners who have to be arriving in Hell by the day? What would she have to gain by doing that? What could Alastor possibly offer her that she, the Queen of Hell, can't do herself?

But Roo? She's the Root of all Evil. She doesn't need a reason. She can be evil for the sake of being evil. I can see her picking a random, wide-eyed, recently deceased sinner and giving them the deal of a lifetime - one that she can cash in on later.

And even if it wasn't random, I can see her looking for a lackey to give power to, to then use as a pawn farther down the road. I can see her being cunning and careful with who she picks, and I 100% believe she would see Alastor's insecure ass and know that guy would do anything to get power (the faster the better), especially if he only just died and didn't yet understand the full scale and structure of Hell, and how serious those kinds of deals are.

(And I can also see Alastor making a deal with Roo when he was alive and then suffering the consequences of it when he died. That's be super cool.)

As for why, well, Roo obviously doesn't have much sway in Hell, despite being the Root of all Evil, because we don't see or hear about her at all throughout the show. If she had power over any of the 7 Rings, we would've seen it or heard about it. In fact, she's only been alluded to once, and that was in the first episode, during the opening sequence of Charlie explaining Hell's origin story.

Still, Roo has to interact with Hell in some way, considering she's the personification of evil and this is THE place for wickedness and corruption. I just don't think she has power or dominion there. At least, not yet ;)

I think she's been cooking up a scheme for a while and what we're seeing in season 1 is her slowly putting the game pieces into place. I think she has Alastor on a leash (that she's had him on a leash for a while but she's only just now using it), and I think she's also the reason Lilith is in Heaven.

I mean, when you think about it, of course she would want Lilith out of the picture if she's trying to make a power grab in Hell. Lilith was the one running the place. She thrived in Hell. She empowered it. So getting her out of the picture makes perfect sense, and who would even think to look for Lilith in Heaven? The very last place you'd expect her to be?

I don't know, the whole idea that Lilith is just a big bad evil women who doesn't care about her family and hates Hell and wants nothing to do with either of them just...it doesn't sit right. It doesn't make sense.

I do think that Lilith and Alastor have met each other in some way, though. The both of them disappearing for 7 years, at the same time, is too much of a coincidence (I want her and Alastor to be besties :3) and I just KNOW that there is more to Lucifer and Lilith's divorce than people give it credit for. I want those juicy details. I want a full blown argument between them so we can get that tea.

But if Lilith does end up being one of our antagonists in season 2, I won't be upset, cuz like I said, give me those morally corrupt women. They'll be loved and appreciated here.

Still, my gut says its Roo. And even if Roo isn't directly holding Alastor's leash, I think she's involved in some way and that she's going to be coming into play eventually. She seems like the type who would manipulate things from the shadows, using people as pawns, and playing a game that no one else even realizes they're playing. I want her to be a psychotic little mastermind trash lady.

Okay, so I don’t have any ideas about who Niffty was before Alastor broke her (I don’t actually subscribe to the “Niffty was an overlord” theory, I’m just rolling with it for the sake of this AU), but I once saw a piece of fanart that suggested she might've been the overlord of the fashion industry, due to her (now mostly scrapped) connection to sewing.

And wouldn’t it just be a cruel twist of fate if in RAM, Velvette was the one who came in and filled the niche that Niffty left vacant, never knowing why exactly that niche opened up in the first place?
