I woke up super sick this morning and I have just been laying in bed all day but now I finally have enough energy to even sit up in bed, so I'm going binge some specific CM episodes

I step over to a strangely dressed guy next. The sign beside him says that he’s the love guru.

Wade: What does a ‘love guru’ do?

Love Guru: I give you insight into your love life.

I could use some insight, but what could this guy possibly know?

Wade: Okay, shoot! Tell me about my love life.

Love Guru: Love is often found in the most unusual places.

Wade: Okay, but that’s a general statement. I want to know about me specifically. Will I find love? Will I ever marry and have children?

The Love Guru takes a moment to consider my question. Finally, he blurts out an answer.

Love Guru: Indeed! I hear wedding bells -

Okay? So far, so good!

Love Guru: *continues hesitantly* But they sound cracked.

Wade: What the f-? What does that even mean?

The Love Guru suddenly looks very uncomfortable.

Love Guru: I don’t know, man. It’s the vibe that I’m picking up from you - sorry. Here, take some of these cherry blossoms. Good luck!

I return to Maia, feeling slightly off-kilter by the Love Guru’s message.

Maia: Who is that guy? What did he say?

Wade: Nothing I wanted to hear. But he did give me these -

I take the cherry blossoms and toss them high over our heads. Maia smiles and looks up as the blossoms fall all around her. She looks so pretty that I wish I could take a picture. I suddenly notice that there’s music playing nearby.

Wade: Would you like to dance?

Maia: Yeah, sure

You know, I get why Taylor made her deal with Coil, but honestly, she should have just planned with Tattletale to betray him and not made the deal, since she had to know he was never gonna keep it.

Granted, Coil might not have let her back without the deal because he knew she was unhappy about Dinah, etc - he needed to believe that she believed she could get back in or something.

Kai: Wasn't succeeding at your job one of the conditions I gave you to keep this house?

Wade: It was, but I don't remember you specifying which job. SimTube is my job now, and I am succeeding. I make almost triple what I made working for Sim.TV. And I own everything I do. I would never be eligible for an award working for someone else. Plus, I just finished up my first two remote classes at Foxbury. I think I did well in them. I've still met your conditions.

Kai: *impressed* Okay, I can't argue with any of that.

Wade: And I'll pay you and Ma back if you want. I can start paying rent.

Kai: I appreciate the offer but don't want your money. Instead of paying us, I'd rather you save a percentage of your income every month and invest it. That's my new condition. You need multiple sources of income, especially if you are working for yourself. With a suitable investment - you'll make money while you sleep. Deal?

Wade: Yeah, I can do that. It's a deal!

I take the cooked hotdogs off the grill and carry them inside.

Guys, I’ve had to face my most tragic battle yet.

Polar Knight. One of my own teachers, when I was but a squire, the one who encouraged myself and Black Knight to follow the path of the shovel, even when others mocked us for the mere thought. It truly pains me to do this, but I have little choice in the matter - he’s thrown his lot in with the Order, and I cannot let their evil reign unchecked.

I’m sorry, old friend. Perhaps one day, when this is all over, we can meet again on better terms and have the final battle both of us truly deserve.

Was feeling down after this, so when to see the green women to cheer myself up.

I always find Dancer’s joy for life and her craft inspiring, and the love she shares with Juice Maid reminds me why these battles are worth fighting! Shield Knight and I may have been close, but theirs is truly a love for the ages. ...I should commission Bard to write a ballad for them. They deserve one! <3
