i think 13/river/yaz as like jack/john/ianto like 13 has relationships with both like jack whereas yaz is only into the doctor like ianto and river has a relationship with the doctor and just keeps calling yaz eye candy.

My post was more about the fact that people praise 14 for what he achieved but yet again ignore 13, who was also explicitly queer. Like a 100% openly queer. For the 9/Jack kiss you could still claim: Jack kissed 9, and not that they kissed each other (which is wrong btw…) but for 13 there weren’t any gray areas. So…

A/N: Wanna thank everyone who has seen this fic series. I'm loving the comments. Sorry it's taken this long to get part five out, but do expect a Part six.

It had been 10 months, you had gotten adjusted to being referred to as The Doctor, you didn't choose the title, its just what Jack and the others took to calling you. You had taken to just protecting Earth. The other planets could protect themselves once you got comfortable enough.

You heard the TARDIS door open, and just assumed it was Jack. You didn't hear the second footsteps as you focused on figuring out what was going on with Spider guy, and the Dalek.

"I found her. I found The Doctor." Jack said and you shook your head.

"She's dead, Jack. I sent her to her death, I told you that, or did we get the date mixed up again?" You looked over at him, and stilled.

There The Doctor was. The blond was in prison gear and smiled softly at you and you took a gasping breath, looking over at Jack. "Is this why you've been gone? It's been weeks!"

"Its been a lot longer for me, Doc 2.0." Jack looked down at The Doctor while she just stared at you.

You groaned and rubbed your face. "I could've used you today! I sent The Fam to go look at a Dalek. A bloody Dalek, Jack! Humans going to hunt down a guy weaponizing a Dalek!"

You couldn't focus on The Doctor, you just couldn't because you would've broken down just like you did ten months ago. Back when you started being her, back when she asked you to live in her name.

"The Fam still.."

"Of course, The Fam is still around! Like they'd give us up." You snapped, looking over at her.

She looked the same, just as she always has. You blinked a few times and took a deep breath. The Doctor's face scrunched up as your words sunk in. "Hold on! You sent The Fam to look after a Dalek? Isn't that your job?"

"Well, it wouldn't be my job if you'd just let me do what I needed to do on Gallifrey!" You snapped, hand slamming down on the console and The TARDIS groaned at you.

"Sorry, love. I didn't mean to." You whispered to the machine before pointing to the door.

"Well, your back now, which means, I'm not The Doctor anymore, I can give up that title, and I leave Earth. Give The Fam my regards. Graham and Ryan have my number if they need me." You said, looking toward The Doctor.

The Doctor looked at you, fully looked at you. You took to wearing a trench coat, 21st century clothing and boots, to mimic her style. You had even started to wear an earring like she had. You stared back at her, trying to hide the emotion building up in you.

Jack looked at you. "Can I get my clothes at least? I've been in this for years."

You groaned and looked at him. "How many years, Jack?"

He shrugged. "19 years just to get to her, Doc 2.0"

Your mouth dropped open and you just stared at him. "Jack."

He shook his head and headed deeper into your TARDIS, leaving you alone with The Doctor. The two of you stared at each other before you took another deep breath and sniffled. "So, Doc 2.0? You took up my name?"

You shook your head, smiling softly. "Nah, Graham, Jack, and Ethan started callin' me that. Yaz calls me by the old name. Ryan took to it pretty quick. Now I just announce myself as The Doctor 2.0 when I go to work."

"Work?" Her brows furrowed together, like she did when she was confused and you smiled wider.

"Savin' the world. It was my job, I couldn't just let Earth go without it's Doctor." You looked away from her to input something into the console.

A pair of clothes popped out next to The Doctor and you chuckled. "She wanted me to wear that, since I was being you. She made me a replica of your clothes, kept them in case I ever had to be you fully. But your back now and I don't have to keep them."

"Why didn't you want to be me? I'm pretty cool." The Doctor asked, looking down at the pile and smiling at the familiar clothes.

"Because my last memory of you is you telling me to live on in your name. No one can live up to your name, Doctor. You are The Doctor, I was The Doctor 2.0." You focused on conversation. You could do conversation with her.

You just had to pretend she wasn't fully real until she had left your TARDIS, you could do that. "Where do you want me to change?"

"The TARDIS made a room for you, its got a blue door. I'll see you after you get changed, Doc." You watched as she headed deeper into your TARDIS to change, passing by Jack as he came back out.

"Why did you bring her here?" You asked, looking over at him.

Jack looked at you and his eyebrow rose and you huffed. "Because, Doc 2.0, you had been crying for months now, trying to live up to her name. She was in jail, atoning for crimes she didn't commit."

You rose a brow. "She has millions and millions of years she doesn't remember, Jack. For all we know, she was just as bad as The Master."

"Is that how you've been justifying your grief for the both of them?" Jack asked and you looked away.

"I don't miss him, Jack. I miss the me I was before he fucked with my life. Before The Doctor. Now I'm sitting here, still the last of my species, my planet razed to the ground by the man that I loved. He took any hope of my future, of me finding out who I was away. I don't grieve The Master. I hate him." You had moved away from the console to pace around the rest of the Console room, hands thrown up in the air as you talked.

"I grieve for the days I missed, and that I lost because I was chosen, somehow, as the last one. I am the last of my kind, my species and my creator is getting dressed in my house and I can't even blame anything on her because she didn't ask for it! Tecteun did it all to her and created the Time Lords against The Doctor's wishes. The Doctor had no choice!"

You didn't even see The Doctor standing next to Jack as Jack held his hand out to stop The Doctor from running to you.

"I love her and I can't even show that to her because the people who love her, romantically or not, somehow end up dead or lost to time or something. I will not end up a story in her head and an echo in her TARDIS."

"But your a time lord, you cant die." The Doctor whispered and you looked over at her and shook your head.

"I can die, I have a set amount of regenerations, just like The Master did. Just like any other Time Lord except for you! You seem to have an infinite amount of regenerations. I will die, eventually Doctor." You had a soft and sad smile.

"I won't let you." The Doctor said and you chuckled.

"I will and there's nothing you can do. I'm limited, Doctor. I've accepted this and you're going to accept it too. You have too." You reached over and squeezed her hand.

"I'll take you to Graham's, you can call your TARDIS there and I can say goodbye to the Fam." The Doctor started to look devastated and the connections started to click.

"Doctor, do you know how long its been for us?" You asked, you needed to be sure what your brain was telling you.

"No, your TARDIS did land in the correct year right?" The Doctor asked right back and you tightened your grip on her hand.

"Doc, we landed in the correct year, on the right planet, but for us, its been 10 months since Gallifrey. Its been almost a year, Doctor. We all thought you were dead, Jack was the one that didn't give up." You could practically see the stall in her brain and you pulled her tightly into a hug.

You ignored the feeling of her gripping tightly onto you and you just held her for a minute. "I thought Jack told you."

"I would've if you hadn't exploded and spilled your hearts out to the both of us." Jack pipped up and you laughed, turning your head to look at him. Jack was watching the two of you with a raised brow and you laughed even harder.

The Doctor pulled away and smiled softly at your smile. "So, the Fam, how are they taking everything well? The loss of traveling?"

You nodded, moving to input the coordinates for Graham's house. "Yeah, Graham and Ryan have settled pretty well. Yaz still shows up once a week to see if I could scour the universe for you. I kept telling her no. Earth was under my protection and I'm still pretty new at all this piloting business. I do short jumps, I do pretty good at those."

The Doctor had this look and practically glowed with happiness as you detailed the last ten months, filling her in on everything and you held a hand up at her when you landed. She tilted her head a little bit and you sent her a look.

"I know its probably been a whole lot longer for you since you last saw us all, Yaz is still pretty upset about it all and do not think I'm letting go of you telling me to live on in your name."

"And I'm not letting you live down that you love me." The Doctor shot back and you just stared at her in shock.

"We will talk about that later, let me talk to The Fam myself, start this off. Don't go running into the fray like you usually do, I can handle them." You ordered.

You stepped for the doors and took a deep breath, sliding out of one and keeping it cracked open for The Doctor to hear. You smiled at the sight of the Fam surrounding Graham's table.

"Hey Doc! What's goin' on?" Graham asked when he looked up and you noticed as Yaz looked over, a spark of hope on her face.

"Sorry, Yaz, not her. Uhh, I've got news." You swallowed a bit and turned to look at your TARDIS.

"Do you guys remember Jack Harkness?" You asked, turning back to the Fam.

"Of course, I do! He kissed me!" Graham said and you laughed softly.

"Your right, I did and it was pretty good too!" Jack said, popping his head out to look at them.

"What's he doin' here?" Yaz finally asked and you swung your arm to gesture to the TARDIS.

"Jack found something." You said, looking at Yaz.

Yaz started to get up, her head shooting to look at Jack. "You serious?"

"Not just that! Tell them the truth, Doc 2.0!" Jack urged and you turned fully to your TARDIS, blinking a few times.

"Doctor! You can come out."

No one had a good reaction to The Doctor coming back, not even Yaz who had practically pushed her back into your TARDIS. You had pushed yourself in between the two. Yaz didn't want to talk to you, just like you had suspected.

You swung your arms a little bit as you stood next to Jack and watched The Doctor explain a little bit of what happened and you looked over at him. "Do you think she'd notice if I took off?"

"Yeah, I'd tell her where you went." Jack said and you rolled your eyes.

"Of course you would. You've always had a thing for her, Jack." You had looked back at the The Fam and The Doctor.

Graham was sitting at his table while Yaz was up and pacing and Ryan was looking at the papers strewn all over the table. The Doctor had gone silent and turned to look at you. Her eyebrows were raised and you held your hands up. "I was gonna say goodbye! I wasn't just gonna hop in my box and leave. I'm gonna say goodbye."

Graham had looked over at you and shook his head. "Your just as much as The Doctor as she is! If this is about sharin' the same name, we can find ya a new one!"

You smiled and shook your head. "It was never ever about the name, Graham. It helped me settle into this new life, settle into being who I am now, but The Doctor is back, no need for the second one. I'll still come back when Earth calls for help. I won't leave Earth stranded, especially as The Doc's still getting on her feet. Its just my time to go. Earth was my home until it wasn't ten months ago."

"So we've just tied you here?" Ryan spoke up, turning to look at you and you groaned softly.

"It was never about tying me down. I stayed for you guys and I was going to if The Doctor never came back. The Universe could figure itself out while I stayed and kept Earth safe. You all and humanity were my first priority." You stepped forward and looked at everyone in the room.

"Listen, I love all of you. You guys are my family, my people after everything and I'm so glad I had you guys because I would've stayed on Gallifrey and died, but I can't leave you guys just yet. We've got a Dalek to stop, and that's my job, protecting Earth." You nodded in finality and pulled the trench coat off, tossing it into your TARDIS.

"Firstly, Doctor, where is your TARDIS?" You asked, turning to her and The Doctor smiled a little sheepishly.

"Its on Gallifrey, that's where I left her." The Doctor replied and your mouth dropped open.

"So you were taken to prison from The TARDIS?"

"Don't frame it like that."

"I'm going to! How did the Judoon imprison you from your TARDIS?"

"Can we shelve this for later?"

"Get in. We're going to pick her up."

You heard a chair scrape and you both turned to look and The Fam were facing the two of you and you held your hands up, index fingers rising. "Five minutes. Give us a five minute grace period, I'll make sure to be back with her in five minutes. I'll even fly Sexy back!"

"Sexy?" Jack piped up and The Doctor groaned.

"Still can't believe I told you I called her that!"

"The Master had told me from the beginning you called your TARDIS that. It took everything in me to not make jokes."

"The Master? Is he alive too?" Yaz asked and you stilled, your smile falling.

"I don't know, I won't check." You said, turning to face Yaz.

"You didn't check for The Doctor even after we told you about Ko Sharmus!" Yaz snapped.

"Because I was suffering! Because no matter what, Yasmin, I loved The Master. It may have been manipulated in the beginning by him but there's one thing for certain: I loved him and I didn't want to have to see him dead. I didn't want to find his body in all the rubble and certainly I didn't want to find The Doctor's body there, next to his. Can you imagine it? Finding the two people you love the most, dead because one wouldn't go down without a fight while the other let you go, to live another day? Because I didn't want to find them. I didn't want to. I gave myself the mercy of not entertaining the thought they were alive at all, in any capacity." Your voice was deadly calm as you watched the realization settle in Yaz's face.

The room was silent and you shook off the hand on your shoulder. You knew it was The Doctor and you turned and stormed into your TARDIS. You bent and picked up the trench coat on the floor and slid it onto the coat hanger you had in your console room. You sat down and leaned your head against the console, the floor vibrated, the ancient machine trying to comfort you and you just let out a sob.

You hated crying, you absolutely hated it, and yet in this moment, you just let the tears flow as you tried to process everything in the last two hours. Everything was getting overwhelming, the idea of The Master being back, the confirmation that The Doctor was alive, it was all overwhelming. You couldn't take things in stride like The Doctor could.

You felt someone sit down next to you and you just curled into them, you didn't look to check, but their hand rubbed your back, tracing Gallifreyan symbols. You burrowed deeper into The Doctor's body, managing to start to calm down. "You okay?"

You nodded and slightly pulled back, just to look at her face and your eyes started to build up tears again. "I missed you so much."

"I know you did, love. I know." The Doctor whispered.

The Doctor turned her face to look down at you and her hand moved to press itself against your cheek and she smiled a bit. Her eyes scanned your face and she pressed a kiss to your forehead. "If its any help, I missed you too."

"Good, I would've kicked you off my ship if you didn't."

Your TARDIS groaned and vibrated the floor at your words, causing the two of you to laugh, yours broken and tore at your throat while The Doctor's laugh was comforting, you hadn't heard it in months and you felt like a lot things were just going to get better.

Things weren't going to get better instantly. You had chosen to stick by The Doctor as Team TARDIS split up to investigate deeper into the Dalek issue. The Doctor, you, and Ryan had chosen to interrogate Robertson while Yaz, Graham, and Jack went to Osaka. You pushed the TARDIS door open, staring down Robertson. "Hi, its us again. Remember us?"

Robertson groaned and just stared at The TARDIS. You rose a brow, waving your hand a bit to regain his attention. "I need information, about the Dalek you have."

The Doctor popped her head over your shoulder, looking at Robertson and the two of you shuffled out, practically creating a wall while Ryan watched. Robertson face morphed into one of confusion. "Dalek?"

The Doctor and you nodded in unison. "The weapon you used on the protestors. Its a Dalek."

"No its not. You wanna know they are? I'll show you." Robertson said, getting up and you were immediately in step with him, walking beside him.

The Doctor followed with Ryan and looked at him. "Is this how you guys feel when I take charge?"

Ryan shrugged. "We got used to it, you and Doc 2.0 up at the front."

The Doctor shook her head. "I rotated you all out at the front of the line with me."

Ryan snorted and shook his head slightly. "Yeah, for a week and then it was mostly you two until The Master showed up."

The Doctor stopped and looked at him, her face falling. "Yeah, we all got hurt that day, in one way or another."

You had stopped Robertson and turned to look at the two. "C'mon Fam, Robertson said to just enter this door."

The group of you entered the production room and The Doctor and you stopped in your tracks. "That's a lot of Daleks."

Robertson scoffed and looked at the two of you. "There not Daleks. We aren't calling them that. We are printing Security Drones."

You turned to him and rose a brow. "Security Drones that have the power to destroy an entire race, The Doctor and I should know. The Doctor has stopped your "Security Drones" from exterminating the entire human race and mine a million times by this point."

The Doctor grabbed your arm, squeezing it to calm you down. "What's inside them? Where's the Dalek controlling it." Robertson flipped a Dalek open and your mouth dropped open, along with The Doctor's. "It's empty."

"Its run off of Artificial Intelligence." Robertson said and The Doctor stepped forward.

"What about the Osaka facility?" Ryan cut The Doctor off.

Robertson looked confused for the millionth time that hour. "We don't have a facility in Osaka."

"Yes, you do." The Doctor and you said in unison.

"No, we don't. I should know." Robertson said.

The Doctor and you looked at each other, eyes widening. "We need to get to The TARDIS now."

Hello everyone! While it wasn’t that long ago that we celebrated 1500, here we are at 1600! Thank you all so much for supporting my silly little blog with my silly little writing! Here’s to hopefully many more!

Anyway! Onto the event! I’m doing a thing where I’ll write a little reader-insert thing (ranging from drabbles to full-on one-shots) based on a character and a prompt that you send me! I have a list of 20 angsty dialogue prompts for you to choose from!

Starting at 12:54 this explains very well why I don't like Thasmin.

You can watch the rest of the critique of the episode but thats not my point in sharing; link should take you to timestamp. Commenting on some of the quotes.

This was something the Thasmin fans willed into existence because it wasn't planned and only started to become purposeful in the Haunting of Vella Diodati. Confirmed in the Eve of The Daleks allowing only 2 episodes to cram it in.

Okay so I'm not the only one who thought it came straight out of thin air. A different video proves this is true with interviews of writers and producers.

There was never any chemistry between these two characters [...] You never had any of this with Yaz because she always faded into the background competing with 3 other companions to share screen time with.

This. I always thought if there was going to be Yaz x 13, she needed to be solo for a decent chunk of time. Even if I would have preferred solo Graham

Yes this episode manages to confirm the doctors feelings towards Yaz whilst Chibnall still tries to sit on the fence and avoid committing to either side. It makes you wonder why they even bother acknowledging it.

Poor representation for diversity and especially fan service. Bill did an amazing job as did Jack with LGBTQ represention in the story; Yaz didn't nor did 13 (unless you count changing genders which thats established as something completely normal among time lords).... it just ... manifested suddenly.

She even compares her love for Yaz to her love for River her literal wife

Biggest fucking sin in this onscreen ship confirmation especially because she then dismissively says she wasn't going to mention having a wife.

The real worst moment of the legend of the sea devils is the moment when the 13th doctor tells Yaz shes the most amazing person she has ever met. What has Yaz ever done to warrant that kind of opinion. She hasn't had a huge brave moment proving her worth. Rose absorbed the time vortex. Martha saved the entirety of earth. Donna became part timelord. Clara jumped into the Doctors time stream to save his life.

The continuing rest of that quote explain things that I so agree with but that I won't transcribe.

Thasmin was only turned into a real thing because of the fans. So what do you gain from turning on those fans?

This was prior to their last ""date"" in Power of The Doctor, but its still a decently good point.

I'll admit I'm still re-watching through 13th doctor's run.

Spooky Season Favorites

It's September, I'm in a good mood, and I haven't made a list in a minute so here ya go:

-The Addams Family/Addams Family Values (Values is the better movie but the first one is also lovely, definitely watch the version that puts the full Mamushka musical number back in)

-The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (specifically the Legend of Sleepy Hollow portion)

-Alien: Covenant (yes, original Alien is a classic/better movie, but this one is so specifically gothic and extra, hence its placement here)

-Annabelle Comes Home (it's such a fun time)

-The Bride of Frankenstein (one of my all-time favorites, the ultimate Universal Horror/Monster movie)

-The Cabin in the Woods (pretty much can never go wrong with this one)

-The Changeling (legit classic, definitely on the gloomier side with its grieving lead, but still a fun watch with a group)

-Christine (it's an evil car, it's a John Carpenter movie, you'll have a good time)

-Coraline (this is tumblr, you know this movie's great)

-Creepshow (Stephen King and George Romero make an anthology horror movie, what more do you need to know?)

-Crimson Peak (one of del Toro's most underrated movies)

-Doctor Sleep (Director's Cut only, an amazing achievement, highly recommended for King fans that don't love the Kubrick movie)

-Friday the 13th Part 2/Part VI: Jason Lives (Part 2 is the ideal old-school slasher, Jason Lives is an early self-aware comic slasher. both are great.)

-Goosebumps (the first Jack Black movie is a fun kid-friendly movie, I enjoyed it)

-The Guest (pushing it, but it is set around Halloween and it also rules)

-Halloween (both the original and the 2018 entry. Kills and Ends are not good but they're fun goofy watches)

-Halloween III: Season of the Witch (an iconic weird movie, has nothing to do with Myers, see it just to see what you think)

-Hellboy (both del Toro movies rule, but this one is far more of an autumn watch)

-The House with a Clock in Its Walls (a delightful gateway horror movie, underrated as hell)

-In the Mouth of Madness (Sam Neill in a John Carpenter movie that mashes up the sensibilities of Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft, an awesome movie)

-The Innocents (an incredible adaptation of The Turn of the Screw, super atmospheric and unsettling)

-Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (it's a dinosaur haunted house movie and it rocks)

-Last Night in Soho (Edgar Wright made a horror movie, so yeah I love it)

-Malignant (James Wan's masterpiece?)

-The Mist (grim but amazing, black and white version only)

-Mockingbird Lane (Bryan Fuller's version of The Munsters, possibly the best pilot I've ever seen, truly a crime that it wasn't picked up)

-Nightbreed (Clive Barker's X-Men, essentially. director's cut only.)

-The Nightmare Before Christmas (again, you're on tumblr)

-A Nightmare on Elm Street (specifically any of the first three or Wes Craven's New Nightmare, which is my favorite Wes Craven movie)

-Oculus (it's an early Mike Flanagan movie, so it's the usual quality work but slightly meaner)

-Ouija: Origin of Evil (another Flanagan movie, made in the style of gateway horror from the '80s, a very good time)

-Over the Garden Wall (it's perfect)

-ParaNorman (another instant classic from Laika)

-Poltergeist (Spielberg and Hooper make a horror classic, it still scares me)

-Psycho (it's another classic I love)

-Return to Oz (if you have never watched this low-key insane miracle of a movie, do it with no research done beforehand, you'll thank me)

-Salem's Lot (the original 1979 miniseries, a little dated and slow-paced, but if you're cool with that, some iconic stuff in this)

-Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (I am very very fond of this one, and I did not read the books as a kid. came out the same year as It: Chapter Two and was superior to it in almost every regard.)

-Scream (any of them are a good choice for different reasons. except maybe 3, I've never been able to enjoy watching that one)

-Sleepy Hollow (Burton's movie is a perfect Halloween movie, a goth/emo/angsty queer kid classic)

-The Thing (the Carpenter version, yet another stone cold classic)

-Tragedy Girls (a very fun dark comedy)

-Us (I'm still surprised to hear there are folks that don't like this one, but it's so off-putting and fairy-tale-esque, I love it)

-Van Helsing (the worthy B-side to the 1999 Mummy, underrated)

-Werewolves Within (a fun murder mystery and a surprisingly sweet movie)

-10 Cloverfield Lane (yeah I'm running out of variations on "I love this movie", so yeah it's here and I love this movie)
