The 9th and 11th Doctors are opposites. The 9th Doctor looks and acts all rough, grumpy, and would probably cry should anyone bring up his trauma while the 11th Doctor acts like a ball of sunshine with a storm of rage waiting to be unleashed at the slightest provocation.
The 10th Doctor is just the slow tragic transformation between the two.

Ok imagine, its the something of September, 2024, and I'm sitting in front of the TV with my cousin and sister. My cousin has absolutely zero knowledge of Doctor Who.
No concept of regeneration
We've been marathoning series one, and we finally hit parting of the ways
Shes crying. I'm crying. My sisters crying. I know whats going to happen. She has no idea.
Then the Doctor regenerates. It went down almost exactly the same as the Tumblr post above
