Let’s talk about jockeys, jockeys are great. In his youth Sandy Hawley (Canadian, shown here in 1970s) was that unusual thing of being a good-looking male jockey who was also successful at horse racing. Most jockeys necessarily crackle with powerful short king energy, but young Hawley also understood about having interesting hair.

A nice thing is when famous jockeys are still alive and relatively uninjured. He is still alive and active in horse stuff, along with his current wife, Kaoru Tsuchiya, who was the first female jockey to race in Japan.

This is nice in a sport that is risky, tense and hard on jockeys.

#horse racing is a totally normal sport in which the people riding the horses have this awful time #most legendary jockeys are just like: emerged from womb aged 12 smoking a cigarette #immediately began falling off horses. died several times. made entirely out of titanium.#divorced three times and had fifteen fingers and an ear eaten by horses (spat out fingers and ate them again)#crushed to death in a bar fight. weighed 65 pounds. lived entirely on alcohol and a single grape.#survived by 17 children all jockeys.#absolutely hated horses and died instantly after being removed from them.#anyway! sandy hawley! alive and a little bit normal!#🤏#🏇

chimmy changa timmy, why do you hate muffins? am I missing some of the lore?

Timmy doesn't like how they taste. No matter who, how or where they're made, the muffins are all the same to him. It's frustrating because he knows they shouldn't be.

And each time he walks away feeling immense disappointment. Like something should've happened.

He does his best to avoid eating them, but, Timmy found that people react weirdly when you say you don't like muffins. So he eats them anyways. He's unfortunately surrounded by muffin-nuts.

on sunday was hed's 1st birthday. 🥹 he's the only one of the bandmates for whom i know the exact date when i drew him for the first time (the rest are a few days/weeks older). i can't believe these guys have been on my brain for over a year now. 😭😭😭

#loz #legend of zelda #a link between worlds #ravio #albw #what i tell ya? a ravio this year!!!!#listen i am so tired. i have been tired for like 12 weeks #now I just came from a 4 week #i messed up. from a four week vacation that i didn’t relax during at all. not a SINGLE SECOND RELAXED #id be angry as hell if that wouldn’t take the rest of my energy #anyway i finished echoes of wisdom today finally. cute little game. made me really sad #its not a sad game but multiple times it made me really sad and. i dont have time to think about why #i didn’t really like the final boss. or i think itd be a little better if we got to be link but just by a little #it wasnt great. none of the bosses were tbh. i cant remember a single boss #zelda needed a weapon. and i would like to have more concrete puzzle solutions. we echo too many items for me to remember what i have #especially when i was picking up from gameplay i last did in october #wouldnt be as much a problem if i was playing consistently every week #that was a little of my problem in totk too. the puzzles were too open. they were so open in fact that nobody solved them ‘correctly’#thats all i got i need to do my hw and close my eyes
